Park
“Love the water and dogs? This park is one of the best in Dallas. It sits next to White Rock Lake. There's a ramp for your dog to get into the water. Recent improvements; landscaping, installing covered benches and added side walks. There are three major areas: one for big dogs over 30 lbs, area for little dogs under 30 lbs and then the area where dogs can run in the lake. It's really well organized now and offers areas for dog owners to sit while the dogs play. Weekend mornings can be busy.”

Park
“White Rock is a very popular park, offering an ample variety of special events and runs, and is loved for the fact it has managed to offer a natural area with plenty of wildlife right in the middle of an urban setting. It is also a wonderful day out for all the family as there is so much you can do here. From bird watching to kayaking and canoeing where you can enjoy paddling around the lovely lake, and with 9.33 miles of hiking and bike trails, along with picnic areas, wetlands, dog park, and plenty of space for kids to play and ride their bikes, it’s the perfect place to ‘decompress’ from city life, or simply have some family outdoor fun.”

“You can always find families, individuals or friends working out together, doing a picnic or just hanging out. It's quite scenic and but so close to the city. You can see the beautiful skyline from downtown from some parts of the lake. There is a path dedicated for people or cyclist to walk or bike around the lake. The best part about visiting White Rock Lake is that it's free! The White Rock Paddle company rents kayaks and Richardson Bike mart rents bikes.”

Store
““I had to have some towels embroidered and didn't know where to go. I found this business and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. She was able to get my order done in two days and had tons of fonts, colors of string, and lettering to choose from. The owner is extremely professional and friendly and went out of her way to make sure I was happy. It was a little more expensive than I would have thought, but her work is phenomenal! (Just fyi, she doesn't take credit cards and the actual location is 718 Buckner Blvd.) I would highly recommend her services and would definitely go see her again for my embroidery needs. Awesome business!””
