“Parua Bay Tavern is nestled on the waterfront of the beautiful Whangarei Heads Harbour under the majestic Mt. Aubrey and Whangarei Headland. The venue is suited to all – the tavern has two large deck areas and an expansive lawn so it can cater for most group sizes. Lounge with us on a bean bag under the beautiful pohutukawa tree. ”

“⋒ Just 10 minutes up the road are these caves that are beginner - moderate. You will need to walk down muddy stairs and across a paddock to get to them. Make sure you bring a torch (head lamps are best) and be prepared to get wet. Cave Wetas do dwell in here :) ”
