Vacation Rentals in West Seattle, Seattle

Just booked in West Seattle, Seattle

We designed and built this modern/rustic tiny house and are excited to share it with you! (Chad is an architect and Lindsay is a graphic designer; together we obsessed over every detail of the house.) The house is located in the heart of West Seattle in a quiet neighborhood minutes away from the Alaska Junction (restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, boutiques, Sunday farmers market), Lincoln Park, Alki Beach and more. Downtown Seattle is a quick drive/bus/water taxi away.
The tiny house is an excellent fall/winter get away. Listen to the rain fall on the metal roof as you read a book in the comfortable loft bed with thick down comforter. The cozy cabin feel is great for lounging on the sofa next to the electric fireplace and putting on a movie (Netflix, Hulu, etc. and we have a variety of DVDs in the house). We also have surround sound! Three people is the max that could fit in the tiny house. Two in the loft and one on the sofa. Due to the loft/ladder, we do not recommend infants. Young children can sleep on the sofa. Tipsy is located perched on a higher level of our backyard in West Seattle. We have done our best to create a private space for you--new reclaimed wood planters (coming soon: limes, lemons, cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, etc.) divide our home and yours. There are two lounge chairs to enjoy a glass of wine (weather permitting!). The tiny house is plumbed like a normal house and has a fully enclosed shower and flushing toilet. Sign the guest book! We would love to hear from you!
The West Seattle neighborhood is a favorite of Seattlites--known for its friendly people, stellar views, excellent restaurants and bars, and most famously, Alki Beach.
  • This place is so beautifully crafted and cozy!

  • We had a great weekend in Tipsy the Tiny House! Lindsay and Chad were super welcoming and responsive. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the West Seattle Junction with lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and spending time in the local parks (Lincoln Park is awesome!) The design and care of the tiny house is obvious in all the details - it's really a special place!

    Kelli2016-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very lovely tiny home! Attractive decor, the reclaimed wood is beautiful. Very efficient use of space, I'm amazed how many devices and amenities you can fit in a small space. My husband is 6'0 and he never felt cramped in the kitchen, shower or bed. The owners had bottled water waiting in the fridge, which was a nice touch. I wish there were curtains on the loft windows, and a fan above the stove, but otherwise very functional.

  • The TipsyTiny house was absolutely perfect. I've never felt so homie in an Airbnb like I did this past weekend. The loft was tremendously cozy, it was so relaxing it was hard for my boyfriend and I to get out of bed every morning. The house is designed perfectly and has a lot of hidden gems through out the house. I strongly recommend everyone to experience the TipsyTiny house, Chad and Lindsay are extremely attentive. I will always, request to stay in this house if I ever make it back to Seattle.❤️

    Jessica2017-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Best Airbnb experience ever. I will definitely going back again.

    Mandy2017-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first time staying in a tiny house and it was everything and more. Tipsy wasn't as tiny as one would think. The cool summer nights were great for relaxing outside and enjoying the stars. The indoor surround sound system added a nice touch. This is a must stay if you're coming to Seattle!

    Sjmoya 2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tipsy is not only a great tiny house but a creation & dream come true - it really is Chad & Lindsey’s pride & joy. The loft is outstandingly cozy & snug. The living area is just the perfect amount of space needed to move. Every single detail is thought out from the USB outlets to the slow shutting doors (for our toddler). We honestly could not have been more pleased & look forward to visiting again!

    Jessie2017-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • TipsyTiny is a very cozy home in a great location! Very close to Alki Beach (beautiful at all times of day, great restaurants on the strip) and about 20 min. drive from downtown. Chad and Lindsay gave great recommendations to do around town and checked in with helpful tips during the stay!

  • Had a wonderful stay at Yidians place. The room was very accommodating and the home was very conveniently located close to where my husband and I planned to spend our anniversary. I will definitely be staying here again.

    Asia2016-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was super clean an comfortable within 25 minutes bus ride to downtown. (You can take the bus almost till 12 AM) I wish our trip was longer to explore the neighborhood, that was quite and serine.

    Natalia2016-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place for an extended stay. We couldn't begin to use all the amenities--the washer/dryer, the full kitchen. We didn't even have time to use the comfy sitting room and the gas fireplace, although we looked longingly at it when we ran out the door (we were there over the Christmas holiday and were distracted with celebrations with family/friends). The room was uber clean, and the bed was heavenly. It is conveniently located near our friends in West Seattle. and thank you for the k cup coffee!

    Linda2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Cool home!

    Azalea2016-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice stay. We had privacy and more then just a bedroom and bathroom to use. The place is very clean & the shower was our favorite. We didn't use much because we were gone a lot but the living room, kitchen & patio are wonderful! Before we left, I got all our laundry done & I love that!

    Romina2016-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is my first experience with airbnb. This was awesome. Thank you Yidian for your quick responses all the time. My partner and I have 2 nights at Yidian's house. The room was clean and nice as describe in the photos. The area is safe and close to downtown and restaurants. And yes I will stay here again next time we visit. Thanks again!

  • First time in Seattle and first time using Air (URL HIDDEN) glad i had such an amazing experience at Christa and Brian's. The house is beautiful with an amazing view. Bedroom/bathroom so clean and homey, even better than I expected. They provided everything we needed and communication was perfect, quick responses. 10/10 recommend. Would consider staying with them again :)

    Bianca2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely recommend staying here. Very close to public transportation as well as very close uber ride from downtown. The house is super clean and feels like home! The bed is super comfy and she had body spray, bath bombs, bath robes all ready for guests. Check in was very easy and smooth as well as check out. Would come again!

    Karen2017-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Christina's place is fantastic. The room is lovely and the entire home is expertly appointed and cleaner than a 4-star hotel. All the nice little amenities you need are available and the keypad lock makes arrival a breeze. Great spot!

    Micah2017-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • My private room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had a work space and special touches like slippers and a robe. Christa and Brian were welcoming and super helpful. It was a pleasure to spend time with them and share their home!

    Jared2017-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Provided special accommodations in a beautiful space making it feel like a high end hotel

    Sue2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay! We were a few hours later than expected getting into town but Christa was there to graciously welcome us and introduce us to her cats when we arrived. The place was beautiful and clean, and there were even towels and toothbrushes for forgetful travellers. I felt comfortable in the space and having a code for the door made it easy to go come and go without worrying about keys. This was my first time staying at an Airbnb, and I was very happy with it. They seemed to have thought of everything.

    Liam2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • First time Airbnb. Christa and Brian were very accommodating. The place was super clean, kitties were cute and friendly, bed was incredibly comfortable! All necessities were provided and then some. You have to scale ~25 stairs to get to the door, but nothing too daunting for the average person. Keypad lock made entering easy. They are knowledgeable locals, but I didn't have enough time to reach many of their recommendations. Their ferry recommendation was really convenient and a fun way to reach downtown. Will stay again in future trips!

    Liz2016-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great. We booked it last-minute and Josh was very responsive and friendly. He also graciously accommodated our late check-in and took care to ensure we had everything we needed for our short stay. The location is gorgeous (if a little out-of-the-way, but don't let that deter you unless you are really short on time!). The room was clean and airy with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom, and the whole house was pleasantly quiet. You can tell Josh and his family love Seattle and its surrounding beauty, and work hard to help their guests feel welcome in this lovely city.

    Heather2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great space! It is at a great location with lots of street parking and is about 10 minutes away from the downtown area. The room and bath were clean, nice and comfortable. Josh and Li-Sun were pretty laid back, very communicative and accommodating.

    Adaeze2016-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Josh and Li-Sun are great hosts and I would highly recommend anyone staying with them. They are incredibly friendly and treat you as another friend :) we had a good time chatting about places in Seattle to visit and things to do. They have a pretty consistent bus line that takes you right into downtown. Their home is cozy and clean and good for most travelers, including couples and/or solo travelers. Their bed is super comfy and they provide a bunch of extra amenities. They're also just really very sweet, which was important for me. I would definitely stay with them again if I visit Seattle. Thanks guys!

    Dhruti2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic place to stay in West Seattle. I id not get a chance to meet Josh but I did meet Li-Sun. They had information and recommendations for food. The WiFi was very helpful with the work I needed to do. They do have a dog but he is adorable and very friendly. I highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to be close to downtown Seattle or SODO. Thanks! Carl

    Carl2016-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second experience with Airbnb and it just keeps getting better and better. Josh and Li Sun were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful and i felt like home the second i arrived. The Room was very clean and even bigger, than it looks on the pictures. the neighbourhood is very quiet as stated, but not too far away from some good restaurants or action in west Seattle, my personal favourite is the bakery Nouveau (Thanks for the Tip Josh and Li Sun) where you can get the best danish pastry i have ever tried. There is 2 Bus Lines taking you to downtown within 10 minutes. Their dog Tjengco is very Chill and was super nice, when he was not oversleeping my presence. I really liked their place and i would love to come again in the future Thanks Josh and Li Sun for the great stay!

    Dean2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Josh's place. Everything was perfect!

    Annika2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, just 10 minutes from our son and daughter in law's house. Always found a street parking space nearby. Though the nicely furnished living area and kitchen were open to us, we spent most of each day away preparing for the baby shower, meals and seeing Seattle. We might see Josh when we were coming back in the evening or leaving in the a.m. Would book again on another trip.

This room is perfect for visitors to Seattle who want a peaceful neighborhood stay. It is on the major bus lines, including a shuttle to the water taxi, which takes you downtown. Great coffee, restaurants, parks and shopping near-by.
I keep my home very clean and calm. It is a 1920s building, with the usual quirks, but is warm and bright, and the water pressure is great. I have a fully stocked kitchen, with anything you might need. There is also a Safeway, Trader Joes, and pharmacy within walking distance. Parking is easy, with a free 3 hour lot behind the building and all day unlimited parking across the street. I'm an artist and I enjoy beauty and unique vintage decor. Everything in the house is chosen with care, and minimal clutter. I am a friendly introvert, a professional in the health care field, and usually out of the house 9:30 am -6 pm on weekdays. I have a small, calm dog, and a shy kitten. They mostly sleep all day but they are really cute. I do not have a tv, but you are free to use the Internet or read any of my books during your stay :) Longer stays at a discounted rate are possible if we are a good fit. Thank you!
This neighborhood is awesome because of easy access to downtown with the peace and quiet of a smaller neighborhood. Everything calms down by 10 or 11 pm. The neighborhood is super safe, and I've never had a problem with any kind of crime. There is a lot of variety in a 5 block radius. The people are friendly and chill. There are 3 serene beaches nearby, as well as the better known and more touristy Alki Beach and Lincoln Park.
  • Mari was very friendly, unobtrusive and helpful. The room was just what I wanted and served my needs.

    Bill2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying at Mari's place! It was clean and in a safe neighborhood. I walked everywhere I needed to go and then some! Great part of town with plenty to see and do. A lot of restaurants only 5 minutes or less away. Quick and easy access to the bus stop. Mari is very warm and welcoming as are her animals. I will return!

    Jill2017-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Marissa is a very welcoming host. She was quick to answer when I called from in town to inform her of my arrival and even faster to the door to usher me in upon arrival. I had a lovely stay and felt I was missing nothing. She has an outstanding location that is right next door to some of the best food and drinks that West Seattle has to offer. Great host, great location and great value. It doesn't get much better than that.

    Jake2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great value. Nice and quiet place to rest. Walkable to many shops and places to eat and right next to the West Seattle bridge. It's never taken me 8 minutes to get to work in the morning. Absolutely fantastic.

Queen bed (very comfortable) in an art filled room. Bathroom across the hall is shared. Host is an easy going artist and a massage therapist. The place is a 10 minute drive to downtown or a 20 Minute bus ride which picks you up across the street.
The house is light filled, many windows, sliding door to a covered lanai which has a vegetable and herb container garden. Tables and chairs are reminiscent of family gatherings out on the covered porch.
The neighborhood is quickly accessed via excellent streets, and public transportation. Plenty of on street parking. Ten minutes to Downtown. Three minutes by car to the California Strip which has an abundance of shops and restaurants. Five minutes to the beaches of Alki, which is a premier sightseeing and people watching venue. • Dave was so friendly he is a very nice guy. Everything was awesome in his house. I think it have very good cost performance .location was good it take about 15min ride use uber. I'd like to live there again if I go Seattle next time

    SHIHAO2015-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • My first experience with Airbnb and I am not sure anything will compare to the amazing time I had. David is a kind and compassionate host. The room itself is cozy and welcoming, his place is serene and located in West Seattle perfectly placed. A bus ride into the city proper, another bus to Alki Beach, water taxi to the other side of the bay. All these things I would not have experienced if not for David's local knowledge. You often get out of what you give, our new friendship is exactly what I think Airbnb can be at its best. Host and guest in perfect synchronicity as to how much interaction one needed. We must be the poster child for a great experience. Seattle is beautiful and my host's tips and willingness to show me around as I was on my own very sweet. In short, Airbnb have me the holiday I could not have imagined because of my host. Thanks to both of you!

    Lizzie 2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • It was so great to stay at David's place!!! I felt at home from the minute I came in and met David. He's super nice, and completely comfortable to be around. The entire place was super clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were amazingly soft! I loved being around his artwork and creativity, and even got a t-shirt from him with his artwork on it that I am proudly wearing right now. Less than a block from the bus, which takes to into the city, which doesn't get better than that. Quiet at night and very comfortable. I would totally stay there again in a heartbeat. Best Airbnb experience yet!

    Nadine2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • David is a wonderful, accommodating host! The property is exactly as described and very comfortable.

    John2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first ever visit to Seattle. With that being said, I can't even begin to tell you the wonderful nature and ambiance David's place was. Right off the bat and off the plane I hope into my uber, and see that my phone was dying and I couldn't find my charger. Being alone I text David to let him know I was heading to apple first cause without a phone, I pretty much would be destitute. He messaged back right away and said I could use one of his for the duration of the trip. Right here I knew I was dealing with a pretty awesome guy. Now I knew (based on pictures and reviews) that I was going to meet a pretty spectacular host. After meeting him though, I truly feel I can say I gained a friend. A genuine true salt of the earth good hearted and natured person. The room was very clean and kept up. I loved the lighting. It was adjustable and the bathroom and home were kept up very well. Don't even get me started on the bed, I asked a couple times if he could remember the mattress and where he got it (cause seriously, I slept like a rock, it was beyond comfy) If you are like me and this was your first visit, chatting over coffee is where I got the majority of my daily plans. I took this trip on a whim and was meeting some family for a few hours out of the day but the rest of the time I had left open for pure exploration. David knows the city quite well and had a lot of helpful tips and tricks for navigating, and being budget friendly. Now, loving art the way that I do, I very much loved seeing all his talents. He is more than an artist, he lives and breathes inspiration. I wanted to see more, and I loved all that he had done. I plan on purchasing a piece in the future. I do plan on coming back to Seattle, I loved this City with every fiber of my being. David included. Without a doubt, I will be a guest in his home again. With all that being said, My trip was flawless and I know a lot of that has to do with my host. He is so friendly and knowledgeable and his coffee is quite perfect as well. His place is just a quick drive into the heart of the city and he has a cute little patio where you can relax as well on your down time. A zillion stars if I could, I will be back!

    Amanda2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really good time staying at Dave's house. He made it so comfortable for us that it felt like home away from home. The house is filled with so many artsy things. The paintings in the pictures David posted caught my attention and prompted me to choose the place. The house has a beautiful lanai aptly decorated for a nice evening date. The eccentric ideas David has just adds to the whole romantic ambience. If one was to pay heed to his/her surroundings he/she would notice the attention to detail that goes into setting up the place. A very liberal person. Doesn't mind his guests smoking in the lanai. There was an ash tray placed in the close vicinity. The silence of the environment around is perfect for a "finding oneself" vacation. David had his fridge full of goodies (usual breakfast stuff) which was complimentary. There were notes around the house giving precise instructions to every single detail. We dint get a chance to meet him which I believe is our loss because I would love to know such an eccentric person. The place has this holistic ambience to it. I am from India and this is the first time I dint feel like a stranger or that I dint belong. Not sure if it was the art or the warmth of the place. I would absolutely recommend this place. Everyone could use a little colour in their busy grey lives. The title is apt. Real cozy, real comfy place. Thanks David. We would love to come back someday. Peace!

  • Thanks, David, for opening your house for me to stay over night. I appreciate your kindness I wish you well in the future.

    Eric2015-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • David's place is just like his personality. Full of energy, artistic, mysterious(cuz I found a Laozi, a Chinese philosopher on his bookshelf) and very comfortable to being with. He's also a great bowling teacher! Haha! That was my first time playing the game and he made me scored! FINALLY lol He drove me to a shopping center to finish my shopping list too. Very Very helpful:-) and also he played his own music, So now you know that he's a musician too. thx for recommending me the rich calorie chocolate biscuit. It was sweet and sweet and sweet~~It's a pity that I didn't visit his own studio. But that make me a expectation for my next trip. Definitely will stay here again and he made my journey in Seattle a great one!

This room is furnished with a queen bed and en suite private bathroom, located conveniently in West Seattle. We are right off of a busline (120) that heads into downtown, with a coffee shop 1 block south, and right next to a martial arts and fitness gym (we are able to get discounted private lessons and drop-ins if you're interested).
The townhome was built in 2013 and we recently moved in. We are excited to open it up to visitors. The kitchen is fully loaded with nice cookware and dishes, the living space is cozy, there is a balcony with a view, and you may be able meet Lyla, the sweetest puppy.
Quiet and walkable. We are walking distance to two different coffee shops, as well as some parks. The house is on a busy road, so if your window is open at night, it can be noisy.
  • Sonia's space is clean, quant, and warm. The location in prime and her sweet dog was a wonderful addition to our stay!

    Hayley2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication . Room was clean and private bathroom inside the room is a plus . I would definitely stay here again .

  • Sonia was a great host! She offered to take us downtown if we needed her too and recommend local food choices to eat at.

  • Sonia's house is really beautiful, our room was very clean and comfortable, we really appreciate all the recommendations that she gave us for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Thank you for everything!

  • The layout was great where we didn’t feel like we were in the way. Sweet couple and extra sweet doggy. We had a great stay.

    Charity2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a great spot for a quick trip to Seattle. My fiancé and I had a car and it only takes about 10 minutes to get downtown without traffic 20 with. We found an all day parking garage and made the most of it. We walked everywhere. The private room is located on the ground floor right next to the front door to the town house and is equipt with a very comfy bed, TV with Roku and a private bathroom. Sonia is a very nice host as is her very sweet dog who greeted us at the door. Sonia was easy to communicate with and she will offer you tips for exploring the city if needed.

Welcome to your new West Seattle getaway. This private room comes with a full private bathroom, private patio, separate living space and full access to our brand-new kitchen, washer and dryer and upstairs living area. Within walking distance to Alaska Junction and only a short drive to Alki beach, SeaTac airport and minutes to downtown Seattle by car, this quiet space is perfect for business travelers, couples, vacationers and anyone looking to enjoy the relaxed West Seattle lifestyle.
The entryway has a small hangout space which leads to your own full bathroom and bedroom with private patio access. Upstairs you'll find a fully stocked chef's kitchen, an absurdly long couch (pictures don't do it justice), a record player and ample chairs for lounging. Need to wash some clothes? Up the next flight of stairs you will find the washer, dryer and detergent.
West Seattle is a hip, bohemian neighborhood home to many local coffeeshops, vintage stores and some of Seattle's best dining. Grab a coffee from C&P on your way to the Junction where you'll find delights ranging from local boutiques to Seattle standards, like Easy Street Records and Cupcake Royale. Be sure to stop at Bakery Nouveau for a twice-baked chocolate croissant!
  • Really lovely house in a good location convenient to many things. Super cute and sweet dog. Limited interaction with hosts but they were friendly and accomodating.

  • I rented this room for my maid of honor to stay in during our wedding week. Kendra and Tyler were very accommodating. They even left a bottle of wine in the room. Their space is small, but beautiful, and it's located walking distance to public transit (and at least 1 coffee shop) that will get you easily downtown. It was my friend's first Airbnb experience and she loved it. Thank you!

    Sarah2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great location for us to visit our daughter. Great coffee and pastry nearby at Bakery Nouveau. Well located to get to other neighborhoods. Kendra and Tyler had excellent communication about checking in and provided all the information we needed. The bed was very comfortable and it was really nice to have our own bathroom and sitting area. We were only there one night so our interaction was brief, but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

    marilyn2017-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay when visiting Seattle! We had the first floor to ourselves and the room and bathroom were very clean. The bus stop to go into downtown Seattle was also pretty close. We had the chance to meet Kendra and Tyler who were both super friendly! I definitely recommend this place.

    Maxine2017-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very inviting....room comfy and shower inviting. Private. Kendra and Tyler were on top of their game and excellent communicators.

    jan2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean. 10 minutes from downtown. We had a great time!

    Alex2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Was super comfortable, I really liked the soft sheets! Kendra and Tyler made it super easy for a good check in and I would recommend.

    Chanel2017-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • It was an absolutely lovely stay! Almost like having a house to all to ourselves with a private bathroom and living space. It was quite clean and so quant! We loved the neighborhood and they had so many lovely details to make our stay more pleasant. It was a quick stay and exactly what we were looking for in Seattle.

Cute living space in West Seattle. Separate unit below the hosts. Quaint bedroom with real bed and cedar walls. Private kitchenette, bathroom. WiFi. Walkable to cafes, shops, restaurants. 5 min walk to Alaska Junction, express C line bus to downtown.
Authentic cedar wood walled basement unit with separate entrance. Full bathroom and bedroom with real bed and view of Puget Sound. Kitchenette with induction stove and fridge. Free WiFi. Laundry is common, but welcome to use. Guests are also welcome to use backyard. Lots of street parking available.
A retreat in Seattle with lovely views of Puget Sound. We live in the Alaska Junction, away from the noisiness of downtown, but just a short bus ride away. Small boutiques, the Sunday Farmers market, coffee places, bookstores and restaurants dot the area - with lots of live music and beer halls also around. We live across from the CrossfitLoft if that is your cup of tea.
  • We felt so welcome here! Such welcoming and warm energy~

    Victoria2016-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great space for one or two people to really explore W Seattle. A short Uber ride into the city proper but with the neighborhood offerings you may not leave the few square blox around Sid and Yuvals home. Stumbled on a great Tapas joint called Itto's 3 blox away. Alki beach is a 15 min walk. Sid was very respectful as a host and quick to respond to requests and other communication. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Gregory2016-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great self-contained unit in super trendy area! Located on quiet street, but close to restaurants and shops and public transport. Both hosts are very friendly, accomodating and helpful. The unit has everything you need - bedroom, kitchenette, private bathroom. Feels private and cozy. Soundproofing could be a bit more efficient, especially if you are a light sleeper like we are, and bed is squeeky... but comfortable! Overall, great place in great location with equally great hosts, would definitely come back! Thank you Sidd and Yuval, all the best! /Assia

    Assia2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here. We were personally welcomed to the place and given everything we needed for a great stay. Siddharth was very welcoming and happy to help us with any questions, we got to spend some time with him over dinner and it was a great evening! The location is great with some great restaurants and shops nearby. Thank you!

    Laura2016-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This day light basement apartment is really spacious and comfortable. It is very nice to have a refrigerator (large for a kitchenette) and all the cooking options for simple meals. The location is perfect, close to stores and restaurants, yet on a quiet street. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

    Joanne2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place-located super close to he Junction, and a short walk/extremely short drive to Alki Beach.

    Luisa2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you don't mind the relatively quiet life of suburbia, this place is great for you! The hosts were very kind and attentive, yet also professional and respectful of my personal space. Keep in mind that the place is a bit old (and old-fashioned), so don't expect all the modern appliances there. This would be ideal for a couple / family in need of some time off the hectic city life, and with an interest in the lesser-known side of Seattle.

    Zack2016-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Space was beautiful- gorgeous part of Seattle with a stunning view of the sound. We ran around for most of the time we were up, so we were really only "home" to get freshened up and sleep. The downstairs space is large but cozy!

Fantastic quiet location near coffee houses, restaurants and grocery store. You’ll love the proximity to downtown, Alki Beach and access to the water taxi and quintessential Seattle highlights. Great for the business traveler (desk space in the room); couples and solo adventurers. Catch the C line (Rapid Bus) nearby and super easy access to/from the airport. Use as your home base hub for exploring Seattle. Superhost status for more than a year and a half! Book today for a comfy stay.
The private bedroom with a full bed and private bath are located on the lower level of my townhome. These are the only rooms on that level so it's pretty private. You enter the front door and your space is immediately there. The lower level is for Air BnB guests only and I live on the upper floors. I've added a mini-fridge in the foyer closet for your use during your stay. Full size Bed sleeps 2 comfortably. Fresh linens and towels provided always. There is a comfy pull out trundle for an additional guest. Please note if it's for 3 people, the room door must stay open for the pull out bed to accommodate the 3 guests. It's very tight for the 3 but it's affordable. If you've forgotten any personal items, there are emergency sundries under the sink. Still can't find what you're looking for...Thriftway is next door for sundries/food open 5am-Midnight.
The West Seattle neighborhood is a true small town community. The neighborhood is served by 3 Junctions. The ADMIRAL Junction is the north part with access to Alki Beach. The ALASKA Junction is the urban center with most n'hood services, shops, eateries including a terrific Farmer's Market on Sundays. The MORGAN Junction, where I'm at is the gateway to Vashon Island and of course downtown Seattle and a small hub of restaurants, more shops and a grocery store. So much to explore!
  • The room and bathroom was very nice, clean, and private! Chad was very nice and a great host. We were out most of the time so we didn't see him a lot. He also has cute cats that welcome you sometimes on the stairs! We would stay here again :)

    Sherry Lynne2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Chad's place felt safe, clean, and quiet. Also became buddies with his two cats! We'd definitely stay here again.

  • Excellent host, and really lovely home. Location can be hard to find initially. Located close to downtown Seattle. Clean home, quiet neighborhood. I would likely stay here again!

  • My friend and I stayed here while in Seattle. It was both of our first times using airbnb and Chad was an absolutely amazing host! Very reliable, extremely helpful, friendly, and very thorough communication. Great location that's quieter than staying right in the city but still close enough to the big attractions making it convenient!

    Allison2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Chad was an amazing host, the room was great and perfect for our needs. The neighbourhood is great with food and coffee nearby and a large number of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

  • Chad is a great host! The house is exactly as described. The bed is extremely comfortable, very quiet place and the house is very cozy. I do recommend!

    Rociney2017-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Chad's place was the perfect spot for a weekend in Seattle. Chad is super communicative and responsive. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Chad has short notes/reminders throughout the AirBnB that we found helpful. He was also gracious enough to let us wash a load of laundry at his place instead of hunting down a laundromat - we were incredibly grateful for this kind gesture after 1.5 weeks of camping/travel. The best part of Chad's place is his two sweet kitties, who were excellent housemates! We highly recommend Chad's place for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet place in Seattle.

  • Chads place was quiet, clean, and very private just as described. Chad was Fast to respond and very helpful. 20min drive downtown without traffic w/ traffic it took us an hour. We had last minute changes as to our guest number and he was great about it.

We are located in the heart of the Morgan Junction where you will be able to enjoy multiple bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as a 25 minute bus trip to downtown. • Me and a friend visited Seattle for a night and decided to stay with Lauren. The apartment was excellent, exactly as advertised and bigger then the pictures show. Lauren was very accommodating with our check in and check out time. I would recommend this place to everyone! -John

    Gledis2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a surprisingly large and charming place. It's a little ways out but a good value. The basement entry can be challenging to find in the dark but the space itself was comfortable and accommodating. We really appreciated being able to run a load of laundry too as we had a long trip.

    Sharon2017-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • The location is very convenient, however the basement is very noisy. Every footstep can be heard from those living above. The sheets also appeared to not have been washed.

    Adrian2017-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Huge basement, quiet neighbourhood, $13 and 13 minutes to downtown Seattle via Uber, thankyou

    Matthew2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place was real awesome. Big space, clean, and wonderful Host. Lauren was awesome and they definitely give you your privacy. It was just my husband and I but the place was big... if I’m ever back in Seattle, I’m staying @ Lauren’s.

    Jossellyn2017-11-20T00:00:00Z

    Angie2017-11-17T00:00:00Z

  • This space was the perfect cozy retreat for a weekend getaway for my partner and me. We loved the mid century modern decor; it was a relaxing and quiet place to stay after spending the day in the city. The comfy couch and large windows made the living area my favorite spot to unwind. Katie was extremely responsive and gave lots of helpful tips for local attractions based on our interests. Checking in and out was simple and easy thanks to her detailed directions to the house and instructions for check-in. We would return without hesitation!

  • Joe and Alicia were superb, they made us feel at home, the place was warm, comfortable clean and they gave us on our first day some great tips on to move around Seattle. We had a car but they suggested to use the bus and within 15 minutes we were on 4th Ave and for people like us coming from Rome - Italy where everything moves very slow that was amazing. The area is perfect with everything you need just in a few minutes walking. Thank you so much!!!

    Francesco2016-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We didn't get to meet Joe, only Alicia, and she was so welcoming. Their home is beautiful, and it was a great stay. Very clean. Two bedrooms to choose from. Had a nice view of downtown. The neighborhood is great and very walkable. Alicia gave us a great restaurant recommendation and even called there to make sure they'd stay open and serve us food. It was great. We'd definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

    Heather2016-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very nice and had a beautiful view of the city. They were very good at communicating to make sure I was comfortable. I had to book this last minute for a sudden change in work trip and it was a little pricey for just one person but for a family or group it would be a great value.

The apartment is poised on a bluff with a sweeping view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. We see Blake Island, Vashon Island, Bainbridge Island, cargo ships, sailboats, sealife, and ferry traffic. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away, down a gently sloping hill along the beautiful Me-Kwa-Mooks greenbelt.
  • I loved staying at the cottage! Kevin and Susan provide a clean, comfortable space with so many extras...snacks and juice, fruit, fresh bagels, even half n half for your coffee. This was a perfect location to rest, relax, and enjoy the incredible view. I would absolutely stay here again.

    Betti2016-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place with a gorgeous view. West Seattle had amazing restaurants and a great farmers market on Sundays. Close enough to the Seattle action but far enough to have some secluded time. Easy drive to and from SeaTac. Kevin and Susan are wonderful hosts! Next time I'm in Seattle this will be my first choice of places to stay.

    Liz2017-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had another very enjoyable stay. This is our third visit in the last 12 months and we really enjoy the views and peaceful neighborhood. Kevin and Susan are always great hosts and do everything they can to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be back!

    Alan 2017-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin reached out immediately upon accepting our request to stay. Every instance of communication with him was kind, helpful, and he would respond within moments of me sending a message. He offered great advice and ideas for enjoying the city and was beyond flexible with us and our flight times. The house itself is amazing. The view simply cannot be beat. We enjoyed early morning views of the Puget sound in a quiet yard. He had the path to the guest quarters lit for us every night when we arrived after our adventures in the city. They had bagels and small snacks waiting for us as well as a full stock of spices, condiments, and anything you would need to cook some you stayed. I would highly recommend choosing their accommodations. We will certainly stay here again on any repeat trips. Thank you Kevin and Susan!

  • This was a nice, more affordable option than staying directly downtown that offers privacy and a peaceful, nice view to look out to Puget Sound. The place has a basement/garden efficiency feel. I dont recommend opening the little window above the shower unless you like big spiders! The place does have all the amenities you would need for a longer stay though. We arrived during an abnormally hot time- the lack of a/c and overhead air flow was a bit uncomfortable for us at first and it smelled musty but Kevin and Susan were very responsive and understanding and brought us an extra fan and had a few others in there. The location was not far from Seattle- it just took us 20-30 min at any given time to get downtown and convenient to great restaurants at Alki beach.

Dream studio in the upscale Seattle area. My studio located in West Seattle, 1 min walk to public transit, which will get you to downtown in 20 min. It is only 10min drive to famous Alki Beach. The studio is new and close to everything you need! The building is brand new, so, when accommodating, please be quiet and respectful to other neighbors. I will be happy to host you and you can contact me at any time.

You’ll love my place because it has been fully remodeled in 2016 so everything is nice, new and clean. It's in an affluent, quiet neighborhood with a variety of great restaurants and bars. It's in close proximity to downtown Seattle, even closer to Alki Beach and the West Seattle Water Taxi (to downtown), and just a mile from the very vibrant Alaska Junction (where you'll find more great shops, restaurants, and bars). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
My house was completely remodeled from the studs out to make for clean and comfortable living. Guests stay in the bedroom of the fully finished basement with a full size bed, their own private full bath and access to the washer and dryer. Guests also have access to the back patio off the main floor.

  • Monica was an awesome host. This was my first experience using Airbnb and it could not have been with a better host. She made me feel extremely comfortable and was very warm and inviting as she welcomed me into her home. Monica was very helpful in giving me tips and insight of the surrounding area. She was very personable and engaging but also gave plenty of space and let me do my own thing. I would highly recommend anyone considering using Airbnb in Seattle to stay with Monica.

Our 96 year old beach cottage is steps away from popular Alki Beach, 25 restaurants/cafes, and public transportation to downtown Seattle. We are just a 10 min walk to the only old growth forest park in the city and a 25 min drive to SeaTac airport.
Our Airbnb space is a fully furnished and freshly painted and carpeted basement unit in our home. Even in sometimes soggy Seattle, not a drop of outside moisture has ever been detected in the unit. Being a daylight basement, it is well insulated as well as protected from outside noise. The lighting is muted on overcast or on our shorter winter days, but is bright and inviting when the sun is out. The baseboard electrical heat provides ample warmth and during warm summer days, the basement is the coolest place in the house. Direct access is via a backdoor and down six steps. Being an older home, the floors above the unit can be a bit squeaky, but we do not tend to have raves so you should not find it annoying. Due to one low support beam, we discourage bookings by individuals over 6 feet (183 cm) tall. BEDROOM- One comfy king bed with mattress topper which can be converted to a pair of twin beds. Classic Pendleton wool blankets. Table and lamp on each side of bed. BATHROOM - Full shower/tub, sink, unique "throne" toilet, towels, hair dryer. KITCHEN - Full sized frig, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric water kettle, eating counter. NO oven/range in unit. LIVING ROOM - Loveseat, desk, flat screen TV (useful for watching DVD's but does not get regular channels), informational guides and a menus notebook for local restaurants. WASHER/DRYER - in unit with on the wall drying racks for delicate items.
Alki Beach on Puget Sound is one of the most heavily visited beaches in Seattle. It is framed by the majestic snowy Olympic Mountains to the west. Downtown Seattle can be viewed to the east. To the south and just a few minutes walk from our door lies Schmitz Park, a community gem of towering virgin timber offering a web of walking trails. A 3.5 mile separated walking and wheeled pedestrian trail invites exploration along Alki Beach. The western most section passes numerous restaurants all with views onto the Sound. Historic Alki Point lighthouse is at the western most terminus of Alki Avenue and is open to visitors on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Visitors interested in the history of Alki, considered the birthplace of Seattle, will enjoy the Log Cabin Museum, one of the oldest buildings in Seattle and only 1/2 mile from our home.

  • Perfect beach getaway. Great location...quiet neighborhood and a block away from the beach. Cam and Will are great hosts!

    Lisa2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Cam and Will were excellent host. Great location right by awesome alki beach. Fridge was stocked with breakfast fare and bedside mints were a nice touch. Honestly so much to do in Seattle we did not spend slot of time there but it was a great jump off point for all our adventures. Would definitely stay again next time we visit!!!

    Matthew2016-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Cam was an absolute delight. She welcomed me to arrive early and, when I was delayed, was flexible with my arrival. What a pretty cottage, only 1/2 block from the beach. With two days of sunshine, the beach was lovely. Even when the other extreme was upon us, a storm, Cam gave me a heads-up to stock up in case the pending storm knocked out electricity. It did not! I felt so cozy, especially in the oh-so-big-and-comfortable bed. I was in the area more for business than pleasure, yet Cam made me feel right at home. Thank you!

    Kate2016-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for walking to Alki Beach, and for a very homey, nostalgic stay. Cameron supplied many things we didn't expect, from a book full of menus, muffins and breakfast fixings, robes, and interesting items all around on walls and shelves. Plus a giant, comfortable bed!

    Kris2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was adorable! Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. They even had a parking place for our car, which is very precious in a beach town. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

  • This is a spectacular retreat, a gateway to fun in the Pacific Northwest. Terrific hosts, accommodating, kind, and thoughtful! It was the perfect place to bring my father to enjoy a quiet evening, but only after a lovely stroll on the strand by the beach watching families celebrate a birthday and people nearby enjoying food and drink at the many lovely restaurants and shops. THANK YOU!

I have a lovely apartment on the ground level of my house. It's newly remodeled and has views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Very private and quiet, bright and light. You'll have the place to yourself, but if you need anything, I live upstairs! Short walk to a small, waterfront park and one block more to one of the largest Seattle parks, with about 2 miles of waterfront, and a salt water, outdoor, public swimming pool (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
Small kitchen with 2 burner cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster and small, but efficient oven. Very comfortable queen size bed, cable TV with Netflix. If you have special needs, please let me know in advance.
West Seattle, while a part of the City of Seattle, has it's own small town feel. Neighborly, friendly and helpful people. Of course there are many coffee shops. There's an old, historic movie theater that has been remodeled into a fourplex and is now showing first run films. The upstairs area has a beer/wine bar! Sip while you watch! We also have a nice, new live theater with several stages for all sorts of performances. There is often a Broadway type show on the main stage, and maybe jazz in a smaller area. The theater has an art gallery on the main floor. There are numerous restaurants of all types, many in the less expensive range. Something for everyone. There is one huge waterfront park (Lincoln Park) and many smaller parks scattered around the neighborhood. This is a great walking and biking area. Along the beach area on the north end of West Seattle you can rent all sorts of bikes and boats; check out Wheel Fun Rentals. in, so I hope you will be happy here too.
  • This was my first experience with airbnb, and it was delightful. Harriet's place is located in a beautiful part of Seattle, and the view from the studio is magnificent (the Sound is visible from the windows and a deck outside). The location is quiet, removed from busy streets, yet only two miles away from some great restaurants and bars. My wife and I had no issues finding the place using the Apple Maps app. The bed is comfy, WiFi is a nice touch, and there is parking directly outside (although for no more than one car). Harriet was very pleasant and gave us some good pointers on places to eat.

    Mick2012-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend staying at this lovely place. It was sweet, in lovely quiet location, and setup for the level of serenity I wished for during this short trip. I hope to return! :-)

  • We had a lovely stay at Harriet's place. Check in was easy and convenient. We didn't actually meet Harriet although she was available to answer any questions we needed. The place is just a short drive/ cab ride to downtown Seattle. Far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful views, and West Seattle was just a short walk away. Great place, I would highly recommend it!

  • Harriet welcomed us and gave us a tour of the studio. She offered information about the area and was very welcoming. Due to a bit of miscommunication, she was concerned about our arrival. We felt welcomed and comfortable. The spotless studio is situated around the back of the property and has a lovely deck with patio table, chairs and umbrella offering view of the water and the beautiful mountains. There is also a covered deck with a grill. The studio is well equipped with kitchen supplies. We were grateful for the number of towels that were available. It has a great walk-in closet which allows you to unpack and keep the suitcases out from underfoot. There is a small but comfortable seating area and a nice sunny kitchen with small table and chairs. It was a perfect spot for us to visit our son and his family in West Seattle. The neighborhood was quiet and near plenty of restaurants, grocery store and coffee shops. We would certainly recommend it and hope to return.

  • That was a great stay in a really spacious apartment. It is clean, has a separate entrance and a gorgeous view over the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. The parking space right in front of the house was very much appreciated. Check it out, you won't miss anything.

    Peter2011-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Harriet's. The apartment was great and Harriet herself was a sweetheart! Beautiful views and lots of closet space and Harriet provided anything we could've needed. We loved having the opportunity to explore West Seattle and downtown Seattle was just a bus or water taxi ride away. We came without a car and while it probably would've been more convenient to have one - we were able to walk or take the bus everywhere we needed to go. And the walk through Harriet's West Seattle neighborhood was just lovely. Beautiful views of the Puget Sound and there's even a friendly neighborhood cat that will accompany you part of the way (Hi Sassy!). I can't wait to visit Seattle again and would definitely stay at Harriet's in the future!

    Sara2012-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Harriet was a wonderful host and her place was exactly what I needed - a bit of peace and quiet. Harriet even kindly drove me to the supermarket when I arrived to get me set up for the 3 days. Really lovely area with plenty of shops and restaurants to visit if necessary - became addicted to the French Bakery! Thank you Harriet

Delight in all that beautiful West Seattle has to offer in a newly built townhome. Relax in your own private bedroom and bathroom or head to downtown Seattle, Alki beach or Lincoln Park - all minutes away.
The bedroom is the only one on the floor and has an attached bathroom so you will have all the privacy you need. Everything you need is in the room but if you choose, you may also relax in the living room and kitchen. There is not a tv in the bedroom but there is one in the living room you are welcome to use. My home is clean and quiet. It is close to bus routes and a short walk to some restaurants and bars. There is a park in front of my home, plenty of walking paths and even a nearby pond with views overlooking downtown. You can comfortably fit 2 people in the room.

  • Our host did everything to ensure a smooth checkin, a clean and efficient place while being both welcoming and respectful of our privacy. • We had a great stay for 5 nights at Heidi's Place. The private room and bath were very clean and comfortable! The bathroom was well stocked with everything you would need and more!!! It was a short walk to the bus stop into Seattle - very handy. We loved the neighbourhood too - very quiet (a nice escape from the busy downtown area) and you could tell people took pride in their properties. Just down the street is a great viewpoint over the city. Heidi was very friendly and welcoming! Unfortunately though we were so busy out exploring the city and area, we didn't have a chance to talk much. However we were provided with her contact information and we knew she was available if needed. We would definitely want to stay there again if we went back to Seattle. Thanks Heidi!!

You'll be staying in the Alaska Junction section of West Seattle which is known to locals as "The Junction" (much the same way the Manhattan borough of NYC is known as "The City"). It's considered a hip neighborhood and known for its summertime street festivals and year-round shopping, dining and light entertainment.

  • The listing was just like the descriptions and pictures, almost better. The room was cozy and quaint, but had everything we needed in it. I loved the home and how the space made you feel like you were "at home" while staying there. We didn't get to meet Rich until the second day but it is because we arrived late in the evening he was amazing and very welcoming. He had some interesting stories and we probably could of talked for hours. Definitely my kind of host who made us feel like the place was ours while in his home. I would absolutely stay with Rich again if I make it back to Seattle. It was also in a very great location within walking distance of tons of pubs, restaurants, and little fun stores. Also very close to Starbucks ;) Great location from downtown or even the airport and to get on the water taxi was only like 2 miles away. So it was a win win!

  • Rich's townhouse is such a wonderful place to stay! It truly was a home away from home. Super comfy and clean, we loved using the kitchen and living room and the place was so near restaurants and stores. One thing though, my mom didn't like the weird squishy bed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in West Seattle.

Room with queen bed, attached bathroom, and separate entrance. Conveniently located in West Seattle approximately 5 blocks from the Alaska Junction which is filled with bars, restaurants, and a major bus line (C-Line) that can take you downtown near Pike Place Market or to South Lake Union. West Seattle is a great hub for adventurers due to its close proximity to Alki, the stadiums, and downtown, making exploring easy.
Comfortable room with private bathroom. There is a mounted TV in the room that is currently set up attached to our Netflix account, but I doubt you will have time for TV with all that Seattle has to offer! We also provide a small mini-fridge which is stocked with a few beverages and snacks for you to enjoy during your stay! There is an attached bathroom with a shower; towels, wash cloths, soap, and shampoo/conditioner are provided. There is a sliding glass door to the backyard from the room, but we ask you do not use this entrance as our furry friend may be on the other side.
West Seattle is a rapidly growing neighborhood in Seattle that is located just minutes from the downtown area, and has some of the best views of the Seattle. We definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat at Marination Ma Kai and taking the Water Taxi to downtown on a sunny day! We live about a 5-10 minute walk from "The Junction", which full of happy hours, shops, and lots of food.
  • We had a great experience at Ty and Audrey's. They made it super easy to find the place with a welcome note. Our suite is nice and clean. The bed is comfortable. We had privacy.

  • Ty and Audrey sent me instructions on how to check into their place well in advance. They are great hosts. Their description of their place is fairly accurate, but I would like to set appropriate expectations for future travelers considering staying here. First, in order to access your private room, you have to enter through the garage, which had a certain unpleasant odor that we later noticed in our room as well. It is a small carpeted living space. There is a small closet to your left as you enter with several wooden and plastic hangers provided for your use. There is a mini fridge as well that was generously stocked with water and other beverages. Above it are a few complementary snacks (Doritos, Rice Krispies Treats, and Kashi bars) and a set of keys to the room. The bathroom is small, but clean, with shampoo and conditioner both provided. The queen-sized bed was comfortable, but ventilation was an issue. There is no air conditioning. A fan is provided, without which we would not have been able to sleep, but there was no way to air out the room. We did not want to open the entry door from the garage due to the previously mentioned odor, nor could we open the door to the outside patio due to Ty and Audrey's dog. Fortunately, we were out exploring during most of our time in Seattle and spent only a small portion of our two days indoors. West Seattle is not terribly exciting, coming from a former Bay Area and DC resident and current Angeleno. We are we glad we had a rental car. While Ty and Audrey were great hosts, I do not think we would stay here again.

Infact, Jenni took the initiative to check with us on our time of arrival well in advance, so that we were ensured a smooth checkin. Her home is nice and cozy and her dog and cats are lovable! We had a good stay as her guests. The location is ok in terms of proximity to the city, however I do wish they had more streetlights on the way! All in all, a very comfortable experience, and a wonderful host!

  • Fabulous location in a peaceful neighborhood. Loved hanging with the animals and enjoying fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning too! Jenni was very knowledgable of her state and provided us with great information regarding where to go on our road trip throughout the Washington. We would definitely recommend a stay with her. Jenni is an awesome and easy going lovely gal!

  • Jenni was the most amazing host! Her home is cozy and beautiful. It's in the cutest neighborhood ever. So close to downtown! She's so sweet and even helped me navigate through the airport. Her animals are very lovable as well. I wish my trip wasn't so short! This was my first time using Airbnb and I'm so glad it was at Jenni's place!

  • This was my first experience with Airb&b, and let me tell you, it was absolutely wonderful! Jenni was an amazing host. She was communicative from the moment she accepted our reservation. She's an amazing host, and her pets are super friendly and adorable. The area she lives in is beautiful, and only a short water taxi/uber ride/drive from downtown seattle. She is also only a few blocks away from a grocery store, gas stations, banks, etc. that you can walk to. I honestly have too many good things to say about Jenni and this Airb&b experience, that I could never fit into the amount of words they allow you to write on here. Overall, I must say that I highly recommend staying with her! You will not regret it.

  • Lovely spot to stay full of adorable animals. Jenni was a lovely host and she made herself available for anything we needed and gave some good recommendations. The house is a short walk to an area with good restaurants or to the waterfront area with a view.

    Mariko2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jenni's home is stellar example of what AirBnB's have to offer; the personal touches the sharing community/economy gives is priceless. Her home is very clean with everything having a deliberate use and function. Would highly recommend.

    Mickey2016-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't have asked for a better host than Jenni! So kind, friendly and welcoming and truly made us feel at home straight away. Her place is lovely (as are her cats and dog) clean and well maintained, with access to everything you need for a comfortable stay. A short walk to the beach, the ferry port or astounding views of the Seattle skyline and an inexpensive uber to the city. The restaurants, bars and shops of West Seattle are just around the corner too. Jenny's place is a perfect home away from home in a great city and I would recommend it to anyone!

    Maisie2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is perhaps the best value we've ever experienced with airbnb. For this price, in this location, with such gracious hosts, I highly doubt you'll find anything better! Jenni was super easy to communicate with and her home is beautiful! We were eagerly greeted upon our arrival by her dog Blue, and as animal lovers that's always a good thing. Our room and the bathroom were both super clean, and the bed... my god... the bed... SO COMFY... and then, what do you know, but as bedtime approached, who decided to push his way into the room and join us on the bed, but none other than Henry, one of two gorgeous cats in the house! The next morning, Edward came in too and we got plenty of love from both cats. If cuddling with soft and fluffy cats isn't enough to convince you to stay, then nothing will. Book this place without hesitation!

Immaculate 2 bedroom modern townhome just steps from Alki Beach! Many restaurants, activities, and great people-watching just 1/2 block away. This home sleeps up to 4. Top-line kitchen is gourmet’s delight with Bosch & Fisher Paykel appliances. High speed internet keeps you connected, unless you want to just unplug, unwind and enjoy the beach lifestyle in comfort and convenience! A separate studio with kitchen, full bath & patio is also available with its own entrance from the back patio.
Our home is a modern yet comfy townhouse a mere 1/2 block from Alki beach that has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and comes with one dedicated off-street parking spot. Less than 250 steps separates you from great restaurants, outdoor recreation, and of course excellent coffee and donuts. This home is ideal for experiencing Seattle’s most popular beach and photogenic spots. Want to explore downtown Seattle? You're just ½ block from a free shuttle that takes you to the Water Taxi that whisks you across Elliot Bay right to Seattle’s waterfront for walking access to Pike Place Market, historic Pioneer Square, and great Chinese/Thai/Japanese/Vietnamese food in the International District. The sports stadiums of Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, and Sounders are also right there as is the light rail station for access to the rest of Seattle and SeaTac airport.
From Seattlesouthside: “Alki Beach Park, located in West Seattle, about 15 minutes from downtown. A trip to Alki Beach and drive along the water has few, if any, equals in the city. It features stunning views of the downtown skyline and across Puget Sound. It has a sparkling sand beach that imparts a resort character and prompts an undeniable hunger for fish and chips. The drive also includes the historic spot on Alki Beach where the first white settlers arrived in Seattle and spent the winter of 1851 before retreating to the less blustery site on Elliot Bay that became downtown. Alki Beach is also a home to several restaurants year around ranging from hamburger joints to upscale gourmet with mesmerizing views of downtown Seattle. Whether you want to catch some rays or watch a winter storm roll in, Alki Beach is a great place to view Seattle from a different perspective. Walk, jog, rollerblade, or bicycle your way down the paved trail along the beach and take in all of the sights, sounds and smell of the beach. Join a game of beach volleyball, rent kayaks or stand up paddle boards from local vendors, go for a swim and then cozy up by a fire and roast marshmallows. There are so many ways to enjoy this beach you be coming back year after year to experience it all!”
  • Great location with a view of the water. Top notch accommodations with high end finishes. Close to restaurants. Easy water taxi to downtown Seattle. Loved it.

Washer dryer such a nice amenity, shower is fantastic! Better then any hotel, loved staying at this condo.

  • This is an amazing place to rent. First time in Seattle and we chose to stay in alki beach as it is the perfect location (10-15 mins) from downtown and (25 mins) from the airport. Michael was very accommodating and he exceeded our expectations in every way. This place is very well furnished, clean, and fully equipped. Over all, we would definitely be back in the near future! Thank you Michael for a great first experience in Seattle :)

Serene and Beautiful Loft Space on a Quiet Street in West Seattle // 5 minute walk to Puget Sound and Lincoln Park // 15 minute drive to downtown Seattle or 25 minutes by bus // Enjoy a feeling of seclusion while being only a short distance from the heart of the city!
Our loft space is light and airy with high ceilings and lots of windows. It's located on a sleepy little street off the amazing Beach Drive SW and positioned on a unique property that's beautifully situated in classic Pacific Northwest natural beauty.
Seattle is very reliant on its unique neighborhoods to provide the charm and personality that has made it one of the top places to live in the U.S. West Seattle is no exception. While lacking some of the night-life of Capitol Hill, West Seattle excels in providing a more unique experience. You feel slightly detached yet right in the thick of it with the amazing Junction shopping area (where you'll find Easy Street Records, Antique Mall of West Seattle, several grocery stores and renowned Bakery Noveau).
  • We had a fantastic stay on a Saturday night. The first way Waze took us was down narrow winding roads, but that night, the Uber driver took a different route that was an easy straight shot. $8 Uber ride (as long as there's less than four of you) takes you right to the heart of West Seattle. Tons of great food and bars. A great Barcade called Vidiot about 15 minutes away from the house. All the games were free when we were there. If you're looking to do some weekending in West Seattle, this is a great location!

    William2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely LOVED our stay at Reeds! We only got to stay one night but if we ever come back we'd stay here for and extended visit! Even our 14 yr old son loved it! It's the perfect size, totally unique and fun! The details in decorating and making it feel like home are just perfect! We can't recommend it highly enough!

    Kati2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Reeds place was just what we needed after a busy day in and around the city. Had most everything we needed. Neighbor hood was quite, garden was very pleasing. Had privacy and charm. Great bike ride to beach. Would stay again.

  • Amazing spot with a very homey feel. We were so lucky to be able stay in such a beautiful location! It’s only a few minutes from the beach and beautiful parks, plus amazing coffee and restaurants right on California St! Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a happy and relaxing location!

Join us for a full breakfast and a comfy King Bed in a beach neighborhood that is as unique as any you'll find in an urban setting. Airbnb listed West Seattle in the Top Ten Trendiest Neighborhoods in the World. We are just across the street from the Puget Sound with occasional sightings of Orcas, Otters and Seals. The "Alki Strip" of beach-front dining and libations is just a short walk/drive/bike ride away and there's a popular Italian restaurant right on our block. Downtown is nearby too
The room is moderately large (14' x 16') with a mini-fridge, Flat Screen TV and a bowl of my signature Peppermint Patties on the bed stand :). Full disclosure: the room is on the 3rd floor with two flights of 14 steps, but I will insist on carrying large bags to your room!! You have access to the "house bicycle" and access to the kitchen as well. Seattle has also been recently blessed with competing "Bike Share" companies which means that you will see hundreds of brightly colored bicycles all over the city, including many of them near our home. Bicycles can be located via a smartphone app. A lock on the rear wheel is unlocked when a rider scans a QR code on the bicycle. The current bike share companies are Lime Bike, Spin Bike and Ofo (whose bikes are painted a bright green, orange and yellow, respectively). You will see excited references to these bikes in some of our recent guest reviews. I will also provide breakfast everyday and will have a pump-pot of hot coffee ready to go when you rise. I am currently a full-time Uber driver and can arrange for your trips to and from the airport or to other parts of the area. We are also right on the #37 Bus line that goes to downtown Seattle during early morning commute times (until 7:30AM daily). After 7:30 you can access all-day bus lines about 3 quarters-of-a-mile away at Alki Beach. You can also take Seattle's famed "Water Taxi" from West Seattle (which is about 3 miles from our home) to the Seattle Waterfront.
This is one of the most unique neighborhoods in Urban America because of the nearby Wildlife, the beach access and the diverse dining/drinking options. I would encourage you to search "Alki Beach" and/or "Beach Drive" to get a feel for the neighborhood. You can also search for the Beach Drive Blog. Airbnb just listed West Seattle (with an emphasis on our Alki Beach/Beach Drive neighborhood) as the 9th trendiest neighborhood....wait for it.....ON EARTH. You will find a unique combination of nature, the smell of salt air and the dining drinking options you would expect in a trend, urban neighborhood.
  • Great space, warm and cozy, gracious hosts, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  • Mike was a gracious host that thought of everything. The room was perfect with a comfortable bed and attached bath. The room was very clean and homey. Mike even had a bottle of chilled wine waiting for us. Loved the stay and would recommend him to anyone.

  • Undoubtably it's been a fantastic and excellent stay ever! Mike and Nancy are so hospitable and sweet, they care about almost every detail during our stay. No Matter the fresh towels, cleaning sheets, homemade breakfast, welcoming candies ,your dining habit or warm talk we're pretty sure they are all satisfying and surprisingly great. It makes us feel like staying at our own home! Also Pepper and Ozzie these two furry adorable cats exactly add more fun to our stay :) Thank you for every effort you have made to make our stay fabulous XD Strongly recommended and would come back again.

  • Mike's house is clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The room has its own heater, so you can keep it as warm as you like. The house is close to the water, and an easy drive to Alki Beach. The automatic email from AirBNB sent me to the wrong address, but once I contacted Mike, he came around the corner to meet me and direct me to the right place.

    Megan2016-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely neighborhood and only a 5 min or so walk to La Rustica (amazing food). The host was communicable and accurately described the listing. I loved the neighborhood. It was a good distance away from downtown that you could escape the hustle and bustle of downtown but you get a great skyline view down by the water.

    Stephanie2016-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place to stay the night. We walked from Mike and Nancy's house along the beach to the water taxi, which we took downtown. They had coffee and breakfast ready in the morning before we left. Incredibly nice hosts, clean and comfortable room. We will be staying with Mike again if we return to Seattle!

  • My fiancé and I recently stayed for a night at Mike's. We just LOVED the stay. The room was beyond cozy. Everything was hotel-level clean and tidy but still felt comfortable, like staying with a friend. Our hosts left us a breakfast spread beyond what we could have envisioned. Plus, if you like cats, Ozzie is an adorable cat to play with, as my fiancé spent so much Jimenez doing We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Come visit this serene spot 1 mile from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown Seattle. We love this place and are sure you will to. Whether you want to go paddle boarding, biking, visit Pike Place Market, have the best steak on the West Coast, or simply chill out and read books, you have found the right place. Easy public transport to Seattle, bike access and walking distance to the beach.
Stay in this newly updated basement studio in our 1917 house. Experience the atmosphere and sounds of a house that has been around for 100 years and survived 3 earthquakes. Please beware you may hear light footsteps from above.
Walking distance to the bus to go down town, the local coffee shop, a newly opened taproom and beer garden called Ounces.

  • It was extremely quick and easy to get back and forth between downtown Seattle and Rasmus's Place via public transportation. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and inviting. There were nice little details like fresh flowers, essential oils, and shower toiletries. As other reviewers have noted, the ceiling isn't very high, but this was never a problem for me or my husband. I would recommend staying there.

    Christina2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Expectations were exceeded. It was a very comfortable place to stay at. The ceiling are pretty low. I do not recommend people that are 6 feet tall or higher to stay here. Overall, the place is unique and lovely.
