Lovely, bright, open plan studio with balcony in Bishopstrow, a small hamlet on the outskirts of Warminster. Large bedroom with Super-King size bed, modern shower & kitchen with an oak-framed floor-to-ceiling glass window looking out over the garden. 15 minute drive from Longleat and Cenre Parcs, just 20 minutes from Stonehenge and 30 minutes from Bath.
The bedroom has an extremely comfy super king-size bed, a 37" flat screen TV with FreeSat, free wifi, a desk if your work needs to follow you home and a sofa, perfect for reading the Sunday papers. We provide a Mothercare cot (bought November 2018) if anyone would like to bring their babe (0-12 months) with them! The Loft is not suitable for toddlers. The shower room, with under-floor heating, has a large power-shower, a loo and basin. The small kitchen is fully equipped to suit all requirements, allowing you to prepare any meals you may wish to. Breakfast is provided in the kitchen: there will be fresh bread for toast, butter, marmalade, jams, cereals, teas, coffee (and plunger), juice, milk and sugar etc, bacon and eggs. Please do let me know in advance if you are vegetarian and would like blueberries and yoghurt instead. The studio is a perfect, romantic getaway for a couple who need a break from stressful jobs or demanding children! The small balcony is a lovely spot for a relaxing drink at the end of a busy day. In nice weather, you are welcome to use the picnic table and benches in a quiet corner of our garden too.
There are many interesting places to visit less than an hour from Bishopstrow. The classically beautiful City of Bath, with Roman Baths, Abbey and great shopping is 19 miles to the north. Salisbury, with its famous Cathedral and John Constable views is 21 miles to the south. Longleat House, and the famous “Lions of Longleat”, are 4 miles away; an amazing day out for all ages! Salisbury Plain is right on the door step, as is the Wylye Valley, with great walks and pubs. Stonehenge, a World Heritage Site, is 12 miles away, over the Plain and its Visitor Centre, opened in 2014, has enhanced the visitor experience significantly. The Stourhead National Trust house and gardens are 15 minutes away.
  • Looking for a rural idyllic oasis, then the Loft is the place to be at.

  • Really lovely space, Sally was really helpful. Peaceful spot too.

  • Went for a weekend away with my girlfriend, absolutely lovely place and very close to things like longleat! Would you 100% come back as the loft and the hosts are brilliant! 10/10 very pleased

  • A wonderfully peaceful little hideaway tucked up in a lovely area just outside Warminster! The loft is warm, light, cosy, beautifully decorated with a comfy bed and really well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The view from the loft is of Sally's lovely big garden with fields beyond and Warminster centre is a pleasant 25 minute walk away. You will receive a warm welcome when you arrive and both Sally and Jules are very affable hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their fabulous loft.

  • Lovely weekend getaway for a couple. The Stable Loft offers a large studio room, comfortable bed (we're told soon to be replaced by a queensize), good bathroom and kitchen. The addition of a fridge stocked with eggs, bacon, milk and orange juice with cereals teas and coffees on the side means you can cook a leisurely breakfast anytime you want. Sally was a fantastic and friendly host who gave us a great welcome and send off. Location is brilliant, especially as we booked an evening at the Centre Parcs Spa which was only a 10 min drive away. Would definitely recommend!

    Nick2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Stable Loft is a really well-equipped, spacious and light apartment, very tastefully furnished and nice views from the huge windows. Sally met us on arrival, showed us round and was helpful throughout our stay. Very welcome supplies for breakfast too. You’d need a car, but there are great walks from the door too.

    Peter2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • The space is used very cleverly and has everything we needed. Sally was so accommodating with arrival times and lots of local tips which were very handy!

    Emily2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved our stay at the loft, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. It has everything you could possibly need and more. It is like a home away from home with lots of lovely personal touches from Sally. We had lots planned for our long weekend and the loft was the perfect place to come back to on an evening, it is a very peaceful location. Sally was a great host, so friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making us feel so welcome

This Queen Street Apartment is exactly what it says on the tin - it's a centrally-located apartment with lofty appeal. This adults-only pad (12 years and over). Having received a top-to-bottom refurbishment in August 2014, it's a bright and beautiful apartment furnished in our signature style - bold wallpapers and quirky unexpected touches. We've also gone all out with a top-spec espresso machine and Smart TVs throughout.
This multi-talented room is a great space for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the city. With windows on two walls, and high ceiling beams (just like a New York loft apartment), it's a delight to come home to. The high gloss kitchen is kitted out with all the modern appliances you love - fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, cooker with built in microwave and electric hob - as well as some natty extras including an espresso machine and welcome hot drinks. Take our word for it: even cooking won't feel like a chore here, so be sure to buy some local delights whilst you're out and about (there's a farmer's market every Saturday morning so, if you're here over the weekend, do look it up). Master Bedroom This adaptable bedroom offers you the option of twin beds or a kingsize double. Super-spacious, it also has a single sofa bed (please note that this can't be moved), a dressing table, oodles of storage space, a Smart TV and a DAB radio. Second Bedroom This bedroom offers the perfect blend of cosyness and flexibility; despite being smaller than the Master, there's still space for either a kingsize bed, or two singles. Also kitted out with the obligatory Smart TV, this room offers a lovely retreat away from the hubbub of the city. Bathroom Furnished in high gloss white and deep purple, the bathroom has a bath with power shower over, and a toasty electric towel rail. Local True Grace toiletries.
The apartment is located right in the very centre of Historic bath, yet we are just off one of the main streets meaning we are in a relatively quite area. We are located in one of the oldest areas in Bath.
  • Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Samantha2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Good location, very close to the bath church. The house is large, beautiful and comfortable. Willing to stay here next time I come.

  • 5 stars!

    Louise2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Central Loft is a lovely, airy, stylish place to stay and it's location in the centre of Bath couldn't be better. It is spotlessly clean and caters for your every need. My daughter and I loved our stay, but sadly it wasn't long enough. I will definitely book again when visiting Bath.

    Helen2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous location right in the center of Bath, the loft is huge and furnished to a very high specification, with everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine with powder for both supplied. It was a nice touch to find fresh milk in the fridge with ample tea & coffee, there is even salt, pepper and oil for cooking should you need it. There is a really comfortable lounge great if you fancy a night in. We went to the Theatre Royal which is literally around the corner and on a freezing cold February night we were delighted to be back in the lovely & warm apartment within 10 min, also a checkout of 11a.m. was appreciated. Great welcome by the receptionist who walked us round to the apartment and showed us where everything was, there are very steep steps up to the front door not a problem for us but some guests might need to consider that, otherwise l can’t recommend The Loft highly enough (although l would really like to keep it a secret for myself).

    Stephanie2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is a fabulous apartment in a central location. It has everything you need to make it home from home. The photos do not do it justice. Melissa is a great host with lots of information before you arrive and the team at Harrington’s were great too.

    Nicola2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The listing is very good, the house is clean and the location is good but it is a bit difficult to find, there are more stairs in the room and it may not be suitable for elderly children

    Jinyu2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa’s place is lovely - perfect accommodation in the city centre that is steps from shopping, dining, the baths, and other sites. I rented this unit for my parents to get away for a few days, and they were not disappointed. They’ve never stayed in an AirBNB before, and have said they’re never going back to hotels!

  • Sally is a very thoughtful host. Her studio is spotless, has everything you need for a young family. We stayed couple of nights, while I am pregnant and our son is 2yrs. We felt like in a little cocoon. Sally and her partner Gus both provided us some valuable travelling tips well suited for our family and that made our stay at the door steps of the Cotswolds so much more easier and made our journey wonderfully peaceful.

    Shujana2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Myself and my partner stayed here at Sally’s Studio and we absolutely loved it. The Studio was spotless and had all the essentials you would need. It was like going from home to home. Sally was fantastic and was there when we arrived to greet us with her 3 friendly dogs, she advised us on some great things to do and see whilst staying then let us settle in and enjoy our time away. Self check in is also available if she isn’t around which is easy. We met both Sally and her husband Gus and they are genuinely lovely people and we really appreciated their friendliness. The location is one of the most peaceful places I have been and the views are outstanding. Located in a small village and the local pub which is across the common was decent too. If you are going to chill out then this place is perfect. Whereas there is also plenty to see and do nearby. We will definitely be staying at The Studio again and can’t wait to go back there :)

A private studio situated above World's End Microbrewery, behind The Crown Inn Pewsey. En suite shower and toilet no bath. A light airy room with two skylights and large window. Electric heater. The room is accessed by an exterior staircase; no stair lift available. Own separate entrance. Very close to train station (mainline to Paddington). In the heart of Pewsey Vale, ideal for walking. Near Marlborough. Convenient for Stonehenge, Avebury. Sunday Roasts available at The Crown. Shops nearby.
The accommodation is detached and has its own front door so privacy is high.
Pewsey Vale is an excellent area for walking, the surrounding hills are very picturesque. There are a number of real ale pubs in the village (not least the Crown Inn with its own microbrewery). There is an excellent bakery on North Street where hot rolls and coffee can be bought, a cafe and a take away lunch venue on the High Street.
  • Second stay here, can't fault it. Great communication, perfect size for what we needed and well presented.

    Rebecca2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Helen, Iago and everyone offered such hospitality with warmth and kindness. Wonderful clean and cozy room with many windows to let light in. Quite spacious too. Heater is warm - thank you for warming up the room before our arrival! The amenities like tea set and hairdryer are very thoughtful. Be aware there is no body wash or shampoo! Love how close and accessible it is from the train station. We loved our stay here.

  • a very spacious comfortable and pricate room, only a short walk down the hill into the village.

    Michael2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • You climb a few easy stairs and find yourself in a light, airy room - blindingly white and clean. It is essentially a bedroom with attached facilities. I slept very well aided probably by the Landlord's excellent beers; I did not notice any aroma or noise from the attached microbrewery. I was walking and can't see how you can go wrong with this as a base for some beautiful and easy walking countryside. The pub itself was very friendly as were mein Hosts. I ate twice at the pub and the food was good. There is no attempt to overextend so the meals are not elaborate or fancy (or pricey). It's very close to the railway station and a little walk into the village where there are most things you would want. The local bus services go north, south, east and west but not on a Sunday!

    Michael2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fab stay at this crown in pewsey. The accommodation was perfect, clean and tidy and was exactly as advertised. A very cute family run village pub. We stayed for a wedding close by and found it was the perfect location. Pewsey is a very cute little village with a few pubs and shops to visit. We had a Sunday lunch at our accommodation which was unbelievable value and a great roast. I also dined on the Friday evening whilst waiting for my husband to arrive, the best pub lasagne I have ever had. Hosts were friendly and happy to have a chat, we felt very welcome. It’s a 20min drive to malbrough which was nice to visit, lots of shops, restaurants, pubs etc. It cost £22 in a taxi to get back to pewsey which I thought was quite good value on a Sunday evening. I would love to stay here again if I am ever in need of accommodation in the area. Many thanks Helen

  • It's nice. Location great for seeing different bits of country side, feels really clean /safe/warm. It's kind of basic - there's no Wi-Fi as far as I could make out, and kitchen has bare minimum, but that's reflected in the price. I'd stay again.

Located 1.5 miles north from Stroud, Cirencester 8 miles, Gloucester 7 miles, Cheltenham 12 miles and with easy access to the A417 /M5 road network via the B 4070. Mainline trains run from Stroud to London Paddington and north to Cheltenham or Gloucester. We are a good base to explore the Cotswolds or attend events such as Cheltenham Gold Cup races, Badminton Horse Show, Gatcombe Park.
  • Caroline and Simon’s place is lovely and comfortable and is in a beautiful location, with some incredible views. Getting there is straight forward thanks to the helpful directions sent before our arrival. When we arrived we were welcomed by Simon and the their two very friendly dogs. Simon also gave us some great suggestions of walks in the local area. Checking in and out is simple and straightforward. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Cotswolds.

  • Caroline and Simon are lovely Hosts. Both myself and my partner were made to feel completely welcome from the beginning of the trip. Really nice touches and very clean space, nice walks nearby and we were recommended the Woolpack where we had a lovely lunch. Thanks again

  • A beautiful space, really cozy and location was perfect to explore the local area. Lovley pub only 15 mins walk away and perfect place for country walks.

  • A lovely detached space above the owner's garage in a quiet, scenic valley. We agree with all the reviews- it was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, including breakfast items and some delicious snacks, as well as a basket full of maps and local guides. It was an easy drive to Stroud, Gloucester and many pretty villages. Some great local pubs- we particularly enjoyed meals at the Butcher's Arms; and we also had a fantastic lunch at The Hive in Stow-on-the-Wold. We managed to arrive on the first day of Storm Dennis, and can confirm Caroline and Simon are far enough up the valley to be flood-proof! Despite the storm we had a peaceful stay and were very cosy there.

    Paula2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely loft, clean, quiet and nicely furnished. We felt very cosy and enjoyed all the local walks and visiting The Woolpack. Will definitely stay again!

    Jude2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline's place is exactly what you want for a break from London. Full of walks and country side. The little bits of breakfast stuff Caroline provides is a real life saver and Simon was kind enough to drop us off at the train station on the day we checked out. It gets real dark on the country paths so it's great if you know what you are doing. Stroud has it's own character and culture of friendliness. The pubs and independent cafes are real gems and sadly you can start to see how the chains are replacing them so hurry up to Stroud before its too late!

    Cheryl2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Superb cottage, in a great location for enjoyable cotswold country walking.

    Ian2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline's cabin is set in the beautiful Slad Valley and provides a welcoming base to the incredibly scenic surroundings. The cabin is clean, airy and light, the bed and sofa comfortable and the DVD's provided a nice touch also. We had a lovely stay and found Caroline and Simon to be friendly, helpful and responsive whilst we took off for local walks. The Woolpack comes highly recommended for locally sourced food and ales and is within walking distance of the cabin, although a torch should be remembered if trekking back at night. Thoughtfully one was provided! We would highly recommend the cabin to anyone wanting to check out the natural beauty of the Cotswolds and seeking a secluded, but welcoming Airbnb. Thanks Caroline and Simon!

  • A lovely, bright and comfortable Airbnb. A huge living space with a great home cinema and everything you need for making meals. Very comfortable cool temperature in the Airbnb even in the full summer heat (was over 30 degrees Celsius during our stay) Surrounded by beautiful countryside and quaint villages, best accessed with a car. Very hospitable hosts

    James2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Above the Stables is in an idyllic spot and the views are gorgeous. Inside was spotless, spacious and welcoming with lots of comfy sofas and decorated throughout with style and charm. There are rows of books and DVD's, a fantastic large screen with projector + TV. Melinda was lovely and couldn't have been more welcoming. She was so generous with the provisions she left - Bread, butter, her own fresh eggs, milk, juice, yoghurt, jam, biscuits, chocolate etc. etc. and a beautifully laid breakfast table. Upton Noble is perfectly positioned for Bruton, Frome and Bath and for exploring the rest of this part of Somerset's beautiful villages and rolling hills. Thank you so much to Melinda for a great stay. Highly recommend.

    Catherine2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Melinda's place exceeded our expectations in accomodation space, furniture and special touches. Fresh farm eggs and bread and extras to nibble on in a lovely country area was one of the highlights of our stays through England and Wales. Melinda welcomed us and was always on hand with tips and suggestions on places to visit and see in a beautiful country side. I could not recommend Melinda's place highly enough - great hosts, great accomodation and a beautiful location.

    Geoff2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay. Melinda had thought of all the little touches that make you feel very welcome. Great space and the location was perfect for our visit to Somerset. We will definately stay again if visiting the area.

    Sarah2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful property and location, a pleasurable experience and such a simple process from booking to arrival and during the stay. The touches in terms of provisions were the best I've had via an Airbnb booking. Highly recommend a visit.

    Simon2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Melinda's place. From the moment we requested to book until the moment we left, Melinda was a responsive, thoughtful and great host. The place is bigger and better than it looks in the photos, and the location is an excellent base for exploring the local area (our weekend took in Longleat, Hauser and Wirth at Bruton and Stourhead (National Trust) and we were just scratching the surface of what the area has to offer. There are no shops or pubs in the village so it's really great that Melinda offers extras such as the basics (and more) you need when you arrive (e.g. milk, cereal, tea, coffee, butter, bread) and extras like eggs from the hens and some chocolate buttons in the fridge went down a treat. There are pubs and shops a short drive away. The property is easy to find and parking is secure and accessible. The bed is very comfy and you get a lovely peaceful night's sleep. We really enjoyed the living area and the home cinema system - bring your favourite DVDs! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely like to return in the future.

Newly built in 2019, The Loft is a beautiful self-contained apartment in the Forest of Dean, with breath-taking views over the River Severn. The Loft is the smaller of two spaces on site and is best suited to couples. For larger bookings, please also consider The Roost.
The Loft is located on the first floor of our garage, separate from the main house. It is a self-contained apartment with private entrance (stairs to first floor). This brand new holiday let offers: Wonderful views King size bed En-suite bathroom Scandinavian wood burner Fully equipped kitchenette Guests receive a welcome pack of fresh, homemade bread and eggs from our free-range chickens. We live on a two-acre plot: half-garden (with chickens, friendly dog and cats!), half orchard and wildflower meadow on a gentle hill. We have swings and a slide, and the whole site is enclosed and far from any traffic. At the top of the hill we have a fire-pit and seating area, looking across the wonderful Gloucestershire countryside and the Severn river. Beyond this is a gate which leads you straight into the Forest of Dean. We are happy for guests to enjoy all these spaces.
We live at the top of a hill in a rural area. It’s beautiful and very quiet. There are lovely walks that begin straight from our property. Other activities in the area (a short car journey away) include: Biking Diving Golf Climbing Places to visit: Offa's Dyke Path Chepstow Castle National Diving Centre Clearwell Caves Puzzlewood Perrygrove Railway Chepstow Racecourse Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail Bristol and Cardiff are both 40 minutes' drive.
  • Fantastic accommodation, with great views and walks close by. The attic was very clean and had a cosy feel to it. Would stay again.

  • The Loft is a lovely space overlooking the River Severn, only 10 minutes drive from Chepstow. There are horses in the fields around and it's very quiet and relaxing. The place is sparkling clean and very well appointed. Juliet is a fantastic host, communicating well before and at the end of our stay. The food and fruit baskets and milk in the fridge were a welcome touch. We stayed the weekend that Storm Dennis hit but we were nice and cosy with the wood burner going and when the power went, Juliet messaged us and braved the wild weather to bring us torches, candles and a stove kettle. Internet coverage was excellent and the Freeview TV meant we could log in to Netflix. The only thing to note for tall visitors is that there are sloping ceilings, particularly in the bathroom (my partner is 6' 5" though!). We had a lovely relaxing break and hope to go back when the weather is predictably better!

    Amy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully cosy and simple self-catering space, in a really beautiful, quiet setting. Has everything you could possibly need for a quiet getaway!

    Daniel2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay in this cosy little loft with a fantastic view across the river. The little hamper of food was delicious. Lots of great walks around as well. Perfect for a weekend getaway for two.

    Philippa2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at The Loft, and Juliet was a fantastic host. Great communication, thoughtful touches (a beautiful welcome hamper was in the kitchen for us on arrival!) and we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The apartment itself is sparkling clean - modern and stylish - and boasts a gorgeous wood burning stove that we were very excited to take full advantage of. And the view over the River Severn was truly lovely; we even got up early on the final morning to watch the sunrise. Well worth it! Thank you for a great experience!

    Marcella2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Thoroughly recommend this lovely loft conversion, with stunning views over the countryside and River Severn. Great design, very comfortable and tastefully furnished, with all mod-cons, ideal for two adults. The fresh eggs and home-baked bread supplied with the breakfasts were a very nice touch from the lovely hosts, Juliet and Michael. Ideal place for walking, relaxation and unwinding - will definitely return.

  • Me and my partner spent two nights over New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day at bears place. Check in was very swift and she was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The place was exactly how it is showed on pictures, it’s the perfect location with local supermarket just under a 10min drive away. There was little touches ie decor that made the place look really nice. The bed was very comfortable and we both cannot fault anything. Thank you for being an amazing host.

  • The Teasle Loft is simple but very stylish and cosy. We stayed here over Christmas and it provided the perfect nest for us as we visited family. We walked on Selsey Common in the fog it was beautiful.

  • A really beautiful and stylish loft space, would highly recommend. Cosy, double bedroom in Newbridge, suitable for couples. Easy access to the centre, 15 minutes walk to Victoria Park, 25 minutes to the City Centre or there are buses very nearby. Local shops and cafes 5 minutes away. There is free street parking right outside the property but some of the side roads are permit so be careful. This is my home so I can only offer weekends and not weekdays I'm afraid.

The apartment was very comfortable and had all the necessities that you would need. Thank you Claire for providing us with the opportunity to have a fab weekend.

  • This is a wonderful apartment set right in the heart of Bradford on Avon with views of the river. The best pubs and restaurants are only minutes walk away. The apartment was spotless and had everything you could want, plus thoughtful extras like fresh coffee, orange juice and croissants. Check in was easy and we were given a tour of the apartment and made to feel at home. We used the apartment as a base to explore Bath and the Christmas market, using the bus to get there and the train back. Both really easy and quick.

A private and charming simple one bedroom flat over garage set in very rural area surrounded by farm land. The place is completely separate from the house set at the back of the property in a large garden. It has a modern kitchen and bathroom with everything needed for a comfortable stay. A perfect setting for country walks and exploring the mysteries of Wiltshire - Salisbury plains next door: Stonehenge, Salisbury and Avebury a short drive away or journey in local buses
Quiet, clean, private and beside natural beauty of Wiltshire It is a charming space, with a well equiped kitchen for some basic cooking, a huge corner bath and shower... there is a TV with all the basic channels, and free wifi There is a double bed and basic sofa bed, that can be made up into a bed - not the most comfortable however. If this is required I will need to charge an extra £10 for cleaning etc - to pay on arrival. At the moment the kitchen is empty of food or condiments so you need to provide all you will need for your stay.
Very friendly, with a great coop; butchers, pharmacy and post office. Also able to find fresh eggs and home grown veg - a fun place to be Very close to characterful Market Town, Devizes with it’s famous canal walks and Locks and neighbouring beautiful old villages eg Urchfont with its famous scarecrow festival and many typical old English village pubs, walks, woods etc Magical Avebury, Silbury Hill, West Kennet and The Ridgeway are all near by; there’s the National Trust Lacock Village with the Abbey (location for Harry Potter) and fantastic cream teas; the famous Wiltshire Whitehorses and seasonal crop circles to see; and Salisbury plains and the beautiful city of Salisbury not too far.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the lodge and would recommend to anyone! The location is perfect and the surrounding area is beautiful. The hot tub experience is a must! Caron was so welcoming and helpful. Would definitely return :)

  • We stayed in the luxury lodge with our 2 crazy cocker spaniels for my partners Birthday. The lodge was perfect, exceptionally clean and had everything you could want. We had access to some lovely walks though the back gate and a wonderful pub 5 minute stroll though the woods. Caron and James were excellent hosts, super helpful and instantly made us feel welcome. The hot tub experience was brilliant and a lovely treat for us. The friendly atmosphere and welcoming environment of this place made the weekend all that more relaxing and comfortable for us. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!!

  • Had a fantastic stay for our 10th anniversary. The lodge was great, nice and clean and had everything that we needed, Hot tub experience was also really good. Surprisingly private, the hosts were great and just left us to it after showing us the ropes with gates and hot tub etc. Tetbury town is only a couple of miles away, plenty of decent pubs and we found a nice Italian restaurant. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

    Alex2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge is great plac for couples to stay. Its an amzazing use of space. Didn't feel cramped despite being a small building, and had plenty of mod cons that made you feel at home. It is decorated really nicely too. It was all very clean and neat. And there were some nice little touches from the hosts too. it is in a good location, just a short walk to the centre of Tetbury. The only negative thing I can think of is that it isn't as excluded as we would have liked. It's close to the other houses in the street, but once you're inside it feels ok.

The Loft is a self contained studio apartment perfect for easy access to Salisbury city centre. Cosy, comfortable and peaceful accommodation for singles and couples. Number 64 was formerly a highly rated B&B
All the city attractions are minutes away by foot. Two or three minutes level walk takes you to the central Market Square where you can visit the Charter market on a Tuesday or a Saturday. Sit outside and enjoy a pint and a bite to eat or watch the city wake up as you eat your breakfast! Stroll on to the High Street and enter the Cathedral Close through the gate. You are instantly transported back in time in the tranquil surroundings of the stunning Salisbury Cathedral with it’s famous spire.
  • This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Salisbury and the surrounding area. The studio is close to the city centre and only a short walk to the station. Clean and cosy studio with small kitchenette and own bathroom - I had everything I needed. Jill is a great host and kept in touch during my stay. I appreciated the tea, milk, biscuits and toiletries. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

  • Staying at Jill's was an absolute joy. I had an extended stay in Salisbury for work and the loft was the perfect accommodation. It was great to have my own space and be self contained. • Really recommend this accommodation for someone travelling on business or 2 people visiting the area, good sized living space and Jill is always quick with replies and was there to assist in anyway she could! Location is perfect 5 min walk to get to the town centre, would definitely recommend!

  • I highly recommend this studio as it has everything one could need for a short stay. It’s clean, modern and the location is ideal, just a few minutes walk to the Market Square, tourist info office and cathedral. Jill was very accommodating and gave some helpful advice on where to go in Salisbury. As an added bonus, the Pheasant Inn opposite the house does an excellent Sunday roast lunch (best to book). I would definitely stay here again.

I have created a private living space in the attic of my own home to serve as a plain and simple, clean and cosy bed sitting room for those who wish or need to visit Wells for any number of reasons and who may like to work, play, study or relax (as well as just sleep) in peace, privacy and comfort. Ali’s Attic has a light, quiet, airy feel - and a view of the Cathedral over the rooftops.
Your space: The attic furniture is flexible and moveable, as you will see from the photos, and can sleep one or two people with new good quality beds adjoining or separate. The sofa provides for lounging and the upright chairs and drop leaf table-trolley allow for eating, laptops, hobbies, card/board games or just spreading out stuff. Ali’s Attic has Wi-Fi, lots of sockets to plug-in/recharge, DAB radio, electric fan/heater and tea/coffee/kettle. Next to this second story attic room guests have their own (small but private) toilet/wash room. A new TV/DVD player is now available exclusively for guest use in the attic room itself but I can hide it away if you have no need for it.
Wells city: Ali’s Attic is only a 10-15 minute walk from all this lovely little city has to offer in the way of history, architecture, culture, atmosphere, eateries and shopping. We have the Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace, Vicar’s Close and many other old and fascinating buildings as well as our own museum, cinema and theatre. Wells hosts music, literary, art, antique and food events throughout the year. There are plenty of characterful pubs, hotels, restaurants and coffee shops to eat out at and a Leisure Centre with swimming pool to work off any extra calories! As well as a deli’ and wholefood store we have Wednesday and Saturday markets where you can buy local produce. Both Waitrose and Tesco stores are a 10 minute walk from Ali’s Attic, with Morrison and Lidl only a little further. We have a great mix of art, craft, gift, card, kitchen, clothes, shoe, book, antique, vintage, hardware and other shops.
  • Alson's is an absolitely wonderful place to stay. She is amazingly kind and helpful, and Wells centre is really easily accessible from the house. The accommodation - and breakfast - was ideal.

  • I came to stay here for a weekend break with a friend. As soon as i saw it i wanted to book. It was good to find somewhere with single beds. Very tastefully furnished. This was a wonderful base for us to break up our journey. Would have been good to have a small hob, but it didn't spoil our stay. Would consider a future stay if need be.

  • We had a wonderful 3 day stay in the Hayloft! It was the first time we’d stayed in a studio apartment with our 10 month old but the space was more than comfortable. The travel cot was a great bonus because we didn’t need to pack our own, and there was an offer of additional baby items if we needed! The little touches such as a box of toys, flowers, and household items was a lovely touch. The Royal Oak pub was just a 2 minute walk away and served some lovely food and drinks. However, we also used the Hayloft amenities to cook for ourselves and baby. Everything we needed was on hand; brilliant! We were lucky enough to meet the owners who were warm and friendly. Definitely a place we’d like to visit again in the future :)

  • A great little find perfect location for a Cotswolds break. Excellent facilities very nice people

    Dick2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hayloft. It has everything you need for your stay even if you are eating in (potted herbs outside the front door was a nice touch :-) We also appreciated the thought of tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits along with bath robes. We took our mountain bikes and managed a 25 mile circular route of bridle paths and lanes in the wind and rain thanks to the bike guides left in the property. Thanks Bethany

    Jacqui2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Bethany’s place was lovely, the photos really don’t do it justice. It’s a small yet cute and cozy studio with everything you might need for a lovely break in the Cotswolds. We cooked a lot whilst we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. The village is pretty and peaceful and there are some great local walks. Westonbirt arboretum is walking distance too. Would love to come back.

Start your day where morning light fills the entire loft. Throw open the balcony doors, boot up the coffee machine then ease your way into the oversized shower cubical with luxurious rainforest shower head. By night, the cobalt blue walls mix perfectly with the warm glow of the Edison lightbulbs.
Original artwork, travel guides, seamless tech and delightful design touches with a little nod to our love of Japanese culture. Described by guests as “serene”, “peaceful”, “inspirational” and “stylish” the “River Loft” is the perfect space for a special weekend away or an ideal hideaway after a long day in the office. Situated in the heart of a converted Victorian paint factory, the space has lots of original features. We’ve also managed to source a few signature industrial pieces from the factory which sit perfectly alongside contemporary furnishings, a deep super comfy sofa and a delightful mattress.
The River Loft is one of a handful of residential apartments right in the middle of Paintworks, a dynamic and lively place to stay in whilst you are in Bristol. Situated alongside the River Avon, Paintworks has been labelled "the creative quarter" of Bristol, as it's home to a host of trendy film companies, digital agencies and design studios. There's also lots of small courtyards, green spaces and a few riverside benches - great to discover on a mooch around the site. There may even be an art show or food festival whilst your visiting in the popular event space. Paintworks also has a lovely restaurant/bar/cafe and a coffee trailer on site. They both do great good and coffee.
  • Fantastic place - host was very accommodating.

  • Fantastic space with everything you’d need for a stay - pet friendly too! Paintworks is also a great location, with parking.

  • The apartment is extremely stylish and very well located. Easy access to central Bristol. The Bocabar on-site is a really great option for food and drink. The apartment has everything you need for an amazing relaxing break. I thoroughly recommend staying here!

    Paul2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Love this place!!! By husband and 8yr old son also thrilled. Bocabar so close it would be rude not to. Thank you for being dog friendly too. Big recommendation from us.

    Sara2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for two weeks upon moving to Bristol for a new job. I wanted somewhere peaceful that I could relax in and it was a fantastic stay. It’s a beautifully decorated flat on the first floor of a converted industrial building in the Paintworks - a stylish area just a little way up Bath Rd from Temple Meads, so you can walk into town in about 15 minutes or take the bus. The Paintworks is quiet as it’s mostly creative companies, with a few residential buildings, too. There’s a nice bar /restaurant very close by which is good for food and drinks, but you won’t be disturbed by any noise as the flat is very quiet. There’s a parking space right outside the flat which you can use for free. Inside, it’s one large room with the bathroom tucked away behind a door and the bed up on a little raised mezzanine area. It’d be perfect for a single traveller or a couple. The hosts were very responsive and helpful anytime I had a question, and I felt anything I needed they’d attend to it quickly. Overall a lovely place and just what I needed to get my settled into Bristol during my first couple of weeks.

    Matt2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We would definitely recommend the river loft. It is a stylish, unique and cosy stay which we enjoyed throughly. The loft is set with a view over the river which is particularly lovely if you get a sunny morning and the location is great if you wish to be away from the noise of the city centre and is still only a short taxi ride away. The loft was even better than we had expected and is great for a couple stay. The loft was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you would need and more. The service was also fantastic and we we’re greeted by Sean on arrival who was very friendly and helpful in showing us everything we needed to know. We will definitely be recommending this property to others and keeping it in mine for future visits. Thanks again.

  • Very comfortable, sparklingly clean, modern and cosy. A super place for a couple to go for a break away. Great walking right from the property and lots of good pubs and places to eat in the area. Can’t recommend strongly enough.

  • A superb and cosy apartment. Set in a lovely village with exceptionally friendly and accommodating hosts. Excellent location for access to Yeovil and perfectly placement to get out of the area without having to drive through the town centre. I’d highly recommend to friends and family.

    James2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a delightful spot to spend a few days this is absolutely the place for you. “The Attic” is located on the outskirts of Yeovil in lovely countryside. Bridget is a very thoughtful host and thought of everything to make our stay memorable. The extra touches of homemade shortbread, local bread and homemade jam and marmalade were absolutely delicious. Information for local eating places, interesting places to visit and a plethora of maps and leaflets on local sites made travel around the beautiful Somerset/Dorset countryside easy and very interesting. “The Attic” is spotlessly clean and the bathroom is well equipped with shampoo and lotions. All the bedding and towels were of a superior quality.

    Deirdre2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Bridget was an amazing host, the homemade jams she left us were absolutely delicious (butter and bread included) . She was very quick to respond. We visited Portland bill and Jurassic coast which were both about 40-50 minutes drive. The view of the fields from the balcony were magnificent.

  • A very warm (Dec 2019), comfortable, very quiet, and bright space with eye-level skylights that provide lots of daylight and that swing open for ventillation. The food preparation area is compact but well equipped, likewise the bathroom. Wifi download speed is "Somerset rural" - typically less than 1Mbps but with occasional, unpredictable, bursts of 3-4. Highly reccommended; I really enjoyed being there!

  • My husband and I had a wonderful 3 days in the Salisbury Plain area in early May, using Virginia’s very comfortable flat as our base. We ventured to Salisbury, Stonehenge, Avebury and Warminster, and also walked up on the Plain. The apartment is quite spacious, and the host has included many things that make guests feel right at home — for example, breakfast items, plenty of blankets and helpful walking maps of the area. The beds are comfy, and the shower is terrific! The property is bucolic and quiet. The horses in the nearby stable were good neighbors. Highly recommend!

We are situated less than a mile away from the village of St Briavels. It is a vibrant little village in the Forest of Dean, on the edge of the beautiful Wye Valley. It has an inn, an art gallery, a deli, a church and a castle. A monthly farmers' market is held in the village on the first Saturday morning of every month, where you can buy a whole range of local produce, including bread and cakes, cider and real ale, fish, and speciality meats.
The lodge is an annexe next to 150 year old cottage - close to Offas Dyke path and Wye Valley. The accommodation is a galleried open plan loft space with private shower room, kingsize bed, single bed and a Z bed to accommodate a 4th guest, if required. There is also a seating/lounge/tv area. Own private entrance. There is a cooking area with a double plate electric hob, a microwave/small oven, a toaster, a mini fridge and a kettle. We will take your washing up and put it through the dishwasher in the main cottage. There is free wifi, but, due to our location, it can be quite patchy. The annex also has it's own private lawned garden, with a seating area - you are more than welcome to bring a disposable BBQ. along. There is also a lovely village pub less than a mile away which serves a range of delicious meals, next to St Briavels Castle. There is also a deli/small café in the village, along with a park and tennis courts. From 2020, we will also be offering a "Bring your horse on holiday" option. We have room for 2 horses at the property. Prices to follow soon.
Discover things to do in or near St Briavels: The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley is home to a great range of attractions - some man-made, some completely natural but all of them well worth a visit. You may wish to discover the area's history, or enjoy a stroll around a nature reserve. There’s an array of family oriented attractions where you can all have fun, relax or enjoy some animal magic. On rainy days there’s also plenty to do from museums to caves or how about spending some time riding a steam train through the forest or taking a cruise down the River Wye. There really is no shortage of ideas for things to see and do in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Christmas time and Clearwell Caves is the place to be. Their themed ‘Christmas Fantasy’ always comes up trumps and they never fail to deliver an awesome display that can be enjoyed by the whole family. At various times throughout the year keep an eye out for other inspirational theatre and musical events at Clearwell Caves – the setting is so unique it makes the shows very special. Father Christmas also sets up his grotto at Beechenhurst and Puzzlewood near Coleford.
  • Cosy, private space in St Briavels. Hosts were very welcoming and quick to respond. Perfectly located for hiking, cycling and trail running. Would love to go back.

  • A very nice place to stay for a much needed getaway. Keren was a wonderful host. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable experience.

    Nick2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Keren couldn't have been kinder and it is in a wonderful location, really peaceful yet convenient for the local area. The room is cosy and warm and you have your own garden space - lovely.

  • Large loft space, very comfortable. Lovely hosts, very accommodating and approachable. Good location, good value. Lanes are dark in the Winter so take torches if you are going to walk the mile to the pub. Contact the hosts by phone (as we did) as the Sat Nav brings you to the village but not direct to the property - they gave us great directions to get to them and left a light on for us.

  • Keren and Lindon were super welcoming and friendly & their place exactly what my mum and I needed to spend a lovely weekend away in this beautiful area! Would definitely recommend!

  • Lovely, clean, simple place to stay with great hosts and easy communication. Perfect for what we needed.

    Becca2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Self contained lodge with kitchenette & private entrance; perfect for speedy access to The Wye Valley & The Forest of Dean. Keren and her partner were both very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    Joanne2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge is a fantastic base, spacious, peaceful and remote on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It is clean, light and comfy, with many easily accessible walks in the Forest, or a little further afield the Brecon Beacons beckon... Tintern Abbey is also only 15 minutes drive away, and there are amazing walks along the valley. This is my second visit, and I intend to come back again - Keren is a great host and this place is a gem.

I’m an architectural designer who has completed our BS2 Loft Pods after 20 years of planning, preparation & finally construction. The ART PODS are designed to express my love of art but specifically graffiti art and they are individually dressed to pay homage and exhibit art created by well known local graffiti artists such as Nick Walker, Inkie, Cosmo, Cheba, Andy Council & many more. The PODS have been designed to minimise energy consumption through the use of PASSIVE technology. Enjoy.....
Each ART POD has a large open plan living, kitchen and dining space that will be also the main art exhibition space representing each artist. As a designer I’m always thinking of materials, colours and textures and have opted for an industrialised feel by using exposed ‘fire rated’ OSB wood finish throughout the whole of the unit. The kitchens are a a matt black finish with leathered granite worktops and black steel splash backs. All fittings are low energy where possible - cooker, induction hob, dishwasher and washer drier neatly concealed off the dining area. The living space benefits from a large PASSIVE standard glass wall that is 3.7m tall and 6.0m wide which has 2 triple glazed sliding doors out onto the balcony that overlooks the rooftops of St. Paul’s, Montpelier, Stokes Croft, Kingsdown ans central Bristol. It’s a hell of a view both day and especially night. The bathroom is accessed off the main living space and is a rather unusual wet room space with shower, washbasin and toilet. The walls are again OSB that has been finished with a clear waterproof resin so that the wood finish is still visible. The bedrooms are again rather unusual and are in effect on two levels. Both are identical apart from furniture and art. The lower area is basically your wardrobe and study space with a ship ladder that provides access to the upper mezzanine level where there is a double bed that benefits from dual aspects. One is via a very thick fire rated glass window that looks across the living space below and through the living room glass wall. The other view looks out across St. Paul’s. There are some quirky elements though.... the ceiling is low and is only 1.4m high and the space over the lower room is infilled with a feature trampoline net that provides a safety net in principle but also provides a fun hammock to lounge on and chill....
Based right next to the City Centre, St.Paul's & Montpelier are one of the most diverse cultural areas in Bristol. It is a vivid local art scene where you will find various pieces by local street artists including world famous BANKSY. Stokes Croft also recently known as Entrepreneurs mile hosts an array of local Food, clothing and Art. There are many live music nights and no two nights are the same. Bristol Harbour, Bristol Zoo, The History Museum, Bristol Cathedral are just a few of the attractions within easy reach of this flat. Cabot Circus, Bristol's newest shopping Quarter is literally 3 mins walk, so you wont have to carry you bags full of shopping very far!! Full of all major high street brands Cabot Circus also has its fair share of designer shops including Hugo Boss & Harvey Nichols. We welcome long term guests and our property is also Family friendly. If you have any special requirements please let us know, we will try our best to accommodate.
  • Such a great space, unreal view of Bristol from the balcony. The design and layout of the loft was gorgeous. In prefect walking distance to anything Bristol has to offer, but when in the loft you feel like you’re in your own private space. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Bristol, thanks guys.

  • Amazing!!! Seriously the coolest Apartment ever stayed in! In totally convenient central urban location. The space is like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. The vibe inside completely transports you to another time in another world. So chilled out and relaxing. And so cool and different! Was an anniversary trip away, so we wanted something special and memorable. WOW!!! This place really hit the mark! A true design and art inspiration in a retro modern classic alternative penthouse apartment living space. Spectacular views in all directions, in the heart of bristols urban city. About 3min walk to Cabot Circus shopping in 1 direction. Or 5min walk to the cool bars, restaurants & cafes of Stokes Croft in the other direction. Great hosts and an incredible apartment that needs to be experienced to be appreciated. The photos can never do it justice. MUST STAY. We will definitely be coming back here. If you’re an art lover, Take some time while your walking around to take in all the incredible local graffiti. It’s a real hotbed of incredible talent painted all around. Don’t miss the big ‘Banksy’ outside the Canteen in Stokes Croft. ;0)

  • This is THE best place to stay in Bristol! It really captures the vibe of the city and has the best views! This studio apartment provides a cosy retreat for two people, with a special rustic charm. It is set in the last bay of Owlpen’s grade one listed medieval barn, and massive oak cruck beams date it to 1446 making it one of the oldest surviving barns in the Cotswolds.
This historic building has been completely renovated in the same style as Owlpen's larger cottages. INTERIOR The open plan studio, light and spacious, has comfortable seating and a king-sized double bed, like a hotel suite. Key Features •Cosy retreat for two with rustic charm •Historic building with original features •Hotel suite style studio apartment •Dog friendly •Sleeps 2 Two steps lead up to the kitchenette and dining area with views towards the manor gardens and meadows. Adjacent is the bathroom, with sunken bath and handheld shower. The cottage is heated with high capacity electric storage heaters. Outside there is a large private terrace with a small wrought iron table to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sunshine. The cottage is situated in the heart of Owlpen's valley, over the Estate Office and Cyder House restaurant.
The Owlpen valley has long been recognised as one of the most romantic places in England and provides guests with an exclusive and relaxing hideaway, surrounded by private woods and hills and many miles of walks--from a gentle stroll round the estate trails to a 20 mile trek along the Cotswold Way. Village pub in Uley called The Old Crown, just a short walk across the fields serving local ales and cheerful food. Also a cafe called The Vestry, great for brunch! This is Laure Lee country, situated in the Royal Triangle in the heart of the Cotswolds hills. The historic cities of Bath, Cheltenham and Cirencester are all within an easy drive, as are the cultural and scenic attractions of Oxford, Blenheim and Stratford Upon Avon, which are popular day excursions. An ideal base for the Horse Trials at Badminton and Gatcombe Park and racing at Cheltenham. Newark Park (National Trust) and Woodchester Mansion are three miles away, as well as many historic houses, including Berkeley Castle, Chavenage House and Sudeley Castle. The choice of attractions and things to see and do is huge and you will want to return to see and explore it all. The Cotswolds are one of England's best known touring regions of picturesque hills, limestone villages and scenic attractions. The magical deep wooded valleys here form its most spectacular scenery. Extra details Golf, gliding, riding, antique shops, historic houses, castles and gardens nearby. But many visitors never leave the privacy of the Owlpen estate, with its miles of footpaths and 800-years of history.
  • We loved our stay in the Tythe Barn - a lovely rustic cottage with lots of character set in gorgeous grounds. We particularly enjoyed walks around the estate, straight from our door. We were able to pick up the WiFi network in our room, which was helpful as there really is no mobile signal.

    Natalia2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Tythe Barn is the perfect place for full relaxation! A great, quirky loft accommodation to completely switch off in! Take some books, a jigsaw, and relax with a pot of tea! The location of Owlpen Estate means it is easy enough to venture on day trips out in the car - all within an hour / hour and half. We visited Bath, Stonehenge and Longleat! Definitely make sure you read the directions to the estate - they make the journey quick and easy to navigate! Tip - whilst both roads to the estate are signposted, definitely take the one by the village green if you want a quicker, smoother ride! The other lane is extremely narrow and windy! If you’re going to get there out of hours, don’t worry! The check in system is super straight forward!

    Ros2018-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Owlpen Manor is unforgettable. We enjoyed the entire experience. The grounds are breathtaking, Owlpen's history is intriguing, and the accommodations were varied and interesting. And on top of all of that, the staff were outstanding - they were communicative, friendly and wanted to do whatever they could do to make sure your trip is memorable. Owlpen is near many wonderful villages worth visiting too.

  • Amazing stay at the coach house. We were just stopping over for one night but I wasn’t ready to leave! Very peaceful, quiet place. Place was spotless and Ruth was kind enough to leave us some bread and butter/jam for breakfast. Ruth was very quick with replies as we had some trouble finding the place. Highly recommend for anyone passing Salisbury or maybe just a weekend getaway.

  • A nice peaceful retreat just outside Salisbury

    Steve2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We were so impressed with the property. Clean, lovely decor, cosy. The little touches of having milk, butter and jam in the fridge made all the difference. Along with bread, tea, coffee and sugar. The host Ruth, was so welcoming and gave us a great local walking route suggestion which we really enjoyed. We also had dinner at the Green Dragon just up the road, typical pub grub, but perfect for a simple meal before heading back for a chilled night in.

    Laura2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The place is great with very nice views and a very modern apartment to stay in. Also very nice hosts who have good amenities of equipment In the place

    Marcus2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was perfect for an overnight stay near Salisbury. The coachhouse is beautifully decked out. There was bread butter jam and milk left for us which was most helpful as we were there for just one night. The only thing I would say is if you like nice coffee there is a Magimix coffee machine but no pods only instant coffee so bring your own!

    Frances2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Ruth was fantastic at making our stay special! She provided butter, tea, milk, coffee and bread etc which was a nice little touch upon check in after a long drive. The place was the most perfect little cottage with amazing views and so much land around. There were two ponies right next to us which Ruth said we could feed apples and carrots, this was nice as we are animal lovers! Ruth messaged mid trip to make sure we were enjoying our stay and that there was nothing we needed. It was lovely to feel like if we needed anything we could call Ruth but also really nice to just be given the key and left to get on with our stay. We came for some peace, quiet and relaxation and that is exactly what we got! It felt like our own plot of land for a few days and I can only imagine how perfect this place would be in the summer months with the outside courtyard with tables and chairs etc!! Thank you again Ruth!!

    Joe2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place to chill, private but not to far from the local amenities! Would highly recommend if you needed a place to stay in the Salisbury area!

  • We needed somewhere comfortable to stay and Ruth’s place didn’t disappoint. Everything is as described. The place is super clean. Really nice touches including milk, butter, loaf of bread, jam, tea and coffee. Both beds very comfortable including lovely pillows. Towels provided are nice and fluffy. Super spot, lovely and quiet. I thoroughly recommend.

Cosy loft space nestling amongst trees. Within walking distance of medieval centre of Wells.
The Nest is a cosy studio loft which is adjoining but entirely separate from our family home. It nestles amongst the trees and overlooks the lovely garden. It is a newly decorated, stylish space with a king-size bed and sofa. There is a separate bathroom with a double shower, WC and wash hand basin. Guests have sole use of the entire space.
We live in a very peaceful residential area above the city of Wells. Behind us are fields and the outstanding area of natural beauty that is The Mendips. There are fantastic walks from our doorstep. For cyclists the Somerset levels are within 10 minutes ride. Wells is easily reachable on foot or by car.
