  • Such a comfortable stay. A very creative use of space and the host has thought of everything making it a lovely home from home. Why would anyone use a hotel when you can have your own wonderful space to yourself!? I shall return!

  • A wonderful place to stay

    Sheila2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay. The space was small but perfect for two adults and a 1 year. It’s decorated very nicely and has lots of amenities including breakfast foods, tea and a great movie selection. We stayed here as a base to visit both Bath and Stonehenge in one weekend. It was a good middle ground between the two. Bratton is an adorable little village. Would definitely recommend.

  • This is an amazing place to stay in. So many personal, thoughtful touches, a real home from home. The bed is super comfy, the space is well thought out and stylish with lots of quirks. Hosts were super helpful and quick to respond. Perfectly located for the Wiltshire area

Babies and toddlers are well catered for with a high chair and travel cot which also has a detachable baby changer.
The annexe has one double bedroom including a double bed with memory foam mattress, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and full length mirror. The bathroom is a good family size with shower over the bath. The living room is very spacious with a T.V and built in DVD player and two sofa beds which convert very easily to generous size single beds. The dining area seats 4 people. Springfield Park is situated in a quiet residential area of Trowbridge just a 10 minute walk away from the town centre. There is a local corner shop at the end of the road and also a large supermarket within walking distance.
  • A lovely large space. Plenty of room for 4 people. Nicci was a great host, answering all communication quickly and popping in to see that we were ok and if we needed anything after we arrived. She even left a pint of milk in the fridge and some welcome biscuits. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The children were delighted with the large array of games and DVDs and the sofa's converted easily into 2 double beds. There is a lovely little space to sit outside (which we would have if it wasn't raining!). We will be back next time we are in the area.

    Natasha2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely weekend at Nicci’s place. Very clean and comfortable. Really close to town, easy walk and a handy Tesco Express close by. Great to have tea/coffee and milk on arrival!

  • A lovely, comfortable, self contained getaway ideal for breaking up a trip to the southwest or as a base for exploring the region. We didn't go out anywhere nearby so cannot comment on local amenities but the annexe was perfect for an overnight stay. Warm and cosy with lots of DVDs and games. Woke up ready for a full day in Bath which is only about 20 minutes drive from here.

    John2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place with a lovely host. We arrived later than expected, but Nicci was nice enough to check in that everything was okay with us the following morning. Lovely touch of milk in the fridge and access to all things you would have in your own home. The place is clean, comfortable, and we had more than enough space.

  • Had a fantastic stay at Chapmanslade! Property was stylish yet so homely. A warm and welcoming space with lovely touches. We visited for a birthday get away and were very glad to have such a cosy apartment to come home too after a few wet and windy day trips (we visited during storm Dennis) would recommend the local pub which is literally a 30 second stroll from the property. Would definitely stay again, great location, property and host!

  • Jordan's place is exactly as you can see on photos. The apartment is quiet and spotless clean. We didn't meet in person but the check in was simple and with very clear instructions. A super comfy bed, a fully furnished kitchen and the fantastic location made my staying in Bradford on Avon a beautiful weekend away from London.

    Gian Luca2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jordan's place is excellent. I've stayed there before and it's super clean and cosy. Checkin was simple and the apartment is quiet and pretty much new. Nice kitchen area and good wifi. I never met any of the hosts but this place is great to stay in for a few days or a week in my case as I was attending a course. Bradford-On-Avon is such a nice village, and you are close to a garage and also there is a co-op 10 mins away. Train is close to, about 8 mins, so you can get to Bristol easy and Airport via the flyer bus that leaves every 10 mins from Temple Meads. Really recommended this place, and have another course in July, so hopefully can book a 3rd time!

  • This flat is very clean and quiet, with a private garden. Groceries are 5 mn by car (aldi, Asda). The village is located in central west England, with an easy ride to Cotswolds (1h), Oxford (1h), Gloucester (1 h), Bath and Bristol (30 mn) Lacock Abbey (10mn), Highclere Castle (1 h). It was a very convenient stop to wander around and visit the Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Also relevant for families, as the garden is closed. (Yet keep an eye on toddlers, as there is a pond in the garden). It was a loverly place to stay.

Ivy Cottage Studio is a beautifully presented self-contained apartment for two. Its stylish quirky design with tall ceiling and original exposed beams transports you to the Alps and the private west-facing terrace catches the evening sun and conjures up Mediterranean balmy evenings – the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and the distant view across the valley. It’s an ideal base for exploring Bath and beyond.
The Studio offers stylish and comfortable self-catering accommodation for two in the beautiful and historic town of Bradford on Avon. Only 15 minutes by train from Bath, it provides the perfect base for exploring Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. The Studio has a king-size bed with Egyptian cotton bed linen, TV and Wifi. There's a well-appointed separate kitchenette with fridge and microwave, and a warm, brightly lit shower/wc. Ivy Cottage was a weaver’s cottage and we believe the studio was probably the original wash house for the wool, judging by the large copper bowls and earth floor we discovered when we arrived 23 years ago.
Bradford on Avon is a rare combination of river, canal and architecture of true character. Straddling the river, its winding alleyways and stepped hillside paths lead to glorious views across the town, to Salisbury plain. Romans, Saxons, Normans, Georgians and Victorians all left their mark, each creating a chapter in Bradford's remarkable story. For more than 600 years, the town was home to cloth-makers and weavers with a global reputation for quality. Today the centre offers a choice of award-winning restaurants, cafés and bars, together with small independent shops specializing in food, clothing and gifts.

  • Perfect little hidden away studio. Has everything you need with some thoughtful touches also. Very friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Sara’s place! It was cosy, comfortable and warm! Sara had left fresh milk and muesli for our brekkie which was greatly appreciated! 10 minute walk into Bradford for a special meal at our fave restaurant “Timbrells Yard”and the Christmas lights in Bradford were the best we have seen! Then we took the train into Bath to experience the Christmas market madness before heading back to the studio for a very comfortable nights sleep! We didn’t mind the hills or steps, it was all well described in the blurb of the studio and is all part of the charm of Bradford-on-Avon! Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

    Laura2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect quiet and clean space with a comfy bed, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Sara was a perfect host, and we will be back!

  • We loved every second of our stay! Sara’s place is so cute and Bradford on Avon is the perfect picturesque town. It’s also very close to the train for traveling into Bath. Also Sara so kindly accommodated us and provided almond milk to have with the organic Müsli left for guests to enjoy for breakfast. Thank you again!

There is a co-op convenience store less than 400m away and a Sainsbury's supermarket elsewhere in the town.
Bradford on Avon is a historic and picturesque market town, full of character and hosting many cultural/musical events. It's a picturesque walk down through the hillside of 17th century cottages to the centre of Bradford on Avon which has a vibrant heart with excellent pubs, restaurants and individual quirky shops as well as regular country and artizan markets (Thursdays and some Sundays). The world heritage city of Bath is around 5 miles away, where there are are many historic sites to see, including the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent, the Assembly Rooms, the Holbourne Museum and Bath Abbey as well as lots of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities. The Kennet & Avon canal runs through Bradford on Avon, with many walking, cycling and boating opportunities.. Its a very pleasant walk along the canal from the town to Avoncliff (around 1 mile away) where the Kennet & Avon passes over the river and the Bath/Weymouth train line. There is also an excellent pub and a coffee shop there! Further afield on the canal by foot or cycling is Dundas Aqueduct, Claverton Pumping Station and the city of Bath itself or in the other direction, Caen Hill and Seend lock flights as well as Devizes and beyond. We are surrounded by beautiful Wiltshire countryside with plenty of well marked walking routes. Other famous landmarks and places to visit nearby include Westbury White Horse, Stonehenge, Avebury Stone Circle, Laycock Abbey and Castle Coombe. Bristol, Cardiff, Salisbury and even London can be reached easily by road or rail.
  • Lovely apartment close to the main village and around a 20 minute drive into Bath city centre. Had a lovely stay, hosts we’re both lovely and attentive. There is a cinema room which is lovely for the evenings. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need! Including washing machine and clothes horse. One small con is that the hosts live above the apartment and when it’s time for them to hoover you definitely know about it! Haha but didn’t bother us. Off road parking space was appreciated with electric gate access. Would definitely stay again.

  • An ideal location for exploring this neck of the woods, great accommodation, Bradford on Avon itself well worth a visit.

    Claire2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • A comfortable, well equipped apartment, exactly as described, and in a great location, just a short (but steep!) walk from town. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

  • Steve and Debbie are fabulous hosts. The apartment is spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location for exploring Bath and the surrounding area. We really appreciated all the little touches - a few breakfast essentials in the fridge and a big box of toys for our 3 year old.

    Samantha2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Geat apartment in beautiful village. Exceptionally clean and ver well presented. Kitchen and bathroom excellent well equipped, powerful shower. Steve great host, very helpful. Everything perfect.

    Robert2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the home and the Hosts! The home was very clean and presented well! The linens were clean and fresh! Loved the movie room! I didn’t use it but will in the future😊! I definitely would come back. I also loved the bed. After two spine surgeries it’s difficult to find well appointed beds. Also loved the heated towel rack, and the cake they shared with me. The couches were super comfy too! Loved that they had a fan in the bedroom! I was completely comfortable! I also liked how safe I felt with the gate. Not that I felt unsafe in this area. Not at all! But it was nice to have. I doubt many Airbnb’s have this feature. Can’t wait to come back and further explore the area. The area is just gorgeous!

    Kimberly2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Dennis and I would highly recommend staying at Stone's Throw. It's a gorgeousl apartment, very new, and beautifully done. Although a hilly walk from the core of Bradford on Avon, it's very short. The city is amazing; lots to do and see. We particularly enjoyed walking the canal to Avon Cliff. Thanks Debbie and Steve, we enjoyed every part of our 2da at Stone's Throw.

  • Cosy and stylish space with well equipped kitchen (we managed some baking and a small roast dinner with no problems whatsoever) and bathroom. Located in a beautiful village which seems like the middle of nowhere but is well connected by train within ten minutes of both Bath Spa and Bradford on Avon by rail. The local shop/cafe is pretty well stocked for essentials and treats, and the village pub/inn is very inviting especially if you can get a seat in front of one of the fires. I would highly recommend.

  • Our stay was all that we'd hoped it to be. 28 The Retreat is a stylish, calm space, which is beautifully fitted and exactly as described. Our welcome from Laurel and Jill was kind and warm, making us feel completely at home. For us, this was the perfect solution to a Christmas conundrum. We hope to return soon.

    Gillian2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jill's apartment is a good size for a couple, is very clean and comfortable. We felt at home from the start and loved Frome just before Christmas with the markets and independent shops. There is an outlook over the garden and in the summer, a nice sitting out area. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and is in a good order with all the main facilities. Frome centre is about a 15 minute walk along the river through a park or about 10 minutes on the road. There is parking at the property. Both Jill and her husband were very friendly and helpful. If you fancy a few days in Frome and want to explore the local area, I would definitely recommend this apartment without any hesitation.

Welcome to the heart of Bradford on Avon explore the charming streets or relax over coffee. Visit Bath take a rooftop Spa, Bristol or Stonehenge then come back to your comfortable flat before enjoying a meal at a local restaurant or taking a stroll along the canal. The flat is in the centre of town so you can walk to all the amenities including a small supermarket and train station. Inevitably there is some traffic however being a small market town this is not excessive. Unlimited fibre WiFi.
Your Georgian town house flat is so central you can sit and watch the hustle and bustle from the window seat or just open the front door into Westbury House Gardens and join the cafe scene or weekly market. Your newly refurbished first floor flat is light, airy and well equipped but retains a wealth of period features and style. The flat is best suited for a couple offering one double bed in the bedroom, however there is a comfortable sofa bed or a fold up mattress for one in the lounge and a travel cot if required. Only the finest Eygptian bed linen is used with luxurious towels and toiletries.
Bradford on Avon has been voted 'the best town in England' (Sunday Times April 2015) and is a fabulous place to live and visit. The historic market town was developed around the woollen industry and there are several large town houses that belonged to the mill owners whilst the mill worker cottages nestle in the hillsides. The ancient town bridge and lockup spans the River Avon and a pretty short walk along the riverside leads to Barton Farmyard and the famous medieval Tithe Barn where part of Wolf Hall was filmed and the forthcoming The White Princess sequel to The White Queen. As well as its historic buildings the town has plenty to offer including scenic walks, hiring bikes and canoes, canal trips, a weekly market, independent shops, a vibrant cafe scene, half a dozen independent restaurants and shops all within two minutes of your flat. Bath City, the famous tourist destination and fabulous Christmas Market is only 6 miles away or better still only 10 minutes through the valley on the train. Bristol is 30 minutes by train and offers a newly developed harbour side, SS Great Britain, Clifton Suspension Bridge and the annual international hot air balloon festival. Within an hours drive there is Stonehenge, Avebury, Salisbury, Glastonbury, Wells, Longleat Safari Park and Cheddar Gorge. Further afield are the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean and the New Forest. In addition, there are a number of National Trust properties including Stourhead, Tyntesfield, Dyrham Park and Lacock Abbey where part of the Henry Potter films where filmed.
  • A great place to stay in BoA with a lovely host

    William2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very relaxing break in Kate’s delightful flat. It is ideally located in the centre of things and there is plenty to do. We were able to walk to different places to eat each night which was a real treat. The flat has everything you need and lots of personal touches. Thank you Kate for a memorable stay.

    Amanda2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location right in the centre of BOA, clean and comfortable.

    William2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in the center (but in the center, center) of Bradford-On-Avon, next to the bridge, next to the train station, location of 10. It is a very spacious and bright apartment. It has all kinds of details and equipment: hairdryer, iron, dishwasher, wireless internet, several pillows ... Kate left us breakfast: muffins, jam, butter, milk, coffee and tea. The room is very spacious. The comfortable sofa bed. And it is quite clean. The water in the bath comes out with a lot of pressure. Very nice decoration, with many details. We recommend it 100%. As usual in England, a lot of light enters through the shutters when it is daylight and the noise of cars passing by the road is heard a lot. So if you are not accustomed do not forget the mask and earplugs. Contacting Kate is very simple. Thanks for everything.

  • I had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at the Westbury House! It was a clean and spacious flat in a beautiful historical property, with lots of windows for letting in the sunlight. It was in a central location perfect for exploring the lovely Bradford-on-Avon, with easy access to the train station. Kate was a gracious host, and had lots of good advice for things to see around the area. Overall I definitely recommend staying here!

    Marcus2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous, striking apartment in the centre of BOE. Right next to the river and a 2 min walk to the train station for an easy 1 stop to Bath Spa Central. Lovely vibe and little touches from the host and check-in was a breeze. I have not stopped recommending this place and will stay again. Enjoy!

    Kirsty2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Kate’s place. She met us at check in and showed us around the beautiful space and answered all of our questions. It is a great location, close to the train station and near many great food and drink options, and also a quick train ride to Bath. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place in Bradford on Avon.

    Jennifer2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location right in the middle of town. As other reviews have mentioned there is noise from the traffic through the town but I guess the single-glazed windows in an old building make this inevitable. Kate was good about communication and kindly arranged for a friend to let us in as we checked in late on a Friday. Thanks for a great stay!

The Studio provides the perfect base for exploring Wiltshire, Bath and the Cotswolds, and is available throughout the year for weekly rentals and short breaks. With exposed beams, a large fireplace with woodburning stove, and parquet flooring in the shower-room, it retains a sense of history whilst offering an airy and comfortable space for you to enjoy. The Studio is designed for two, but we can happily accommodate babies or small children by request. The Studio has a living area with vintage style leather sofa, woodburning stove and TV/DVD player; a kitchenette with fridge, hob and cooker/microwave; sleeping area with kingsize bed, dressing table and wardrobe; sitting area with Sixties chair and vintage record player; shower room with rainfall shower and vanity unit; and a separate loo. You are also welcome to use the Lynchetts garden which has lawns, flowers, fruit and vegetables, an orchard, Georgian summerhouse, wildlife pond and amazing views of the town.
The Studio at Lynchetts is in the heart of Bradford-on-Avon, a stunning town with Roman origins, a beautiful Saxon church, and many buildings dating from the 17th Century when it was a thriving centre for the woollen industry. Today, the centre’s ancient buildings contain an array of shops including a deli, cheese shop, bakery and numerous boutiques, along with a wide choice of places to eat and drink.
  • Lovely studio apartment. It has a very comfy bed and a very nice shower. Plenty of DVDs, books and vinyl provided. Good location in the town close to restaurants, shops and the train station.

  • The stylish Studio provided us with the perfectly located base from which to explore Bradford on Avon, whilst ensuring a really comfortable and cosy place to return to after our various walks. The bed is so, so comfortable and we were incredibly snug under a very good duvet through a couple of the coldest nights we'd had this winter. It was good to be welcomed by delicious cookies, and milk for a cuppa plus tasty home made marmalade for breakfast. Thoughtful little touches such as these are always most welcome. Also thoughtful, and carefully considered was the brilliantly detailed information on how to find the Studio and we appreciated the very generous supply of logs for the log burner, plus kindling. Oh and the towels were lovely and soft and not too small! Seems a small point but it is things such as this which all add up to a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

  • Went above and beyond our expectations. The apartment was spotlessly clean, really stylish with quality furnishings and we loved the quirkiness of the basement conversion. The location was spot on for us and the check-in and parking were all stress-free. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends who want to stay in the area.

  • This is our third stay at Kurt’s- need I say more? Kurt is always so accommodating and I would recommend this place highly! So close to Bath and the tourist sites in Bradford-on-Avon. Lots of lovely restaurants close by including Maharaja and The Lock Inn - both 10min walk/2 min drive away.

Relaxed, private apartment - Large double bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and luxury shower room situated on the ground floor of a Grade 2 listed Georgian building. In a quiet street just a short, pretty walk into the centre of Bradford on Avon.
The space provided is totally self-contained and private but there is a shared front entrance.
Bradford on Avon is an interesting and charming historic town with much to offer. Beautiful architecture some dating back to Saxon times. There are pretty walks along the river, canal and unexpected alleyways to meander. There is a great choice of restaurants, cafes, bars and interesting shops to browse. We are on the North side of town close to lovely hillside views overlooking the whole of Bradford on Avon.
  • Melissa's place is comforatable, warm and stylish. It's a great place to stay for explring Bradfor or Bath. Our only gripe is that the shower is feeble, we recommend you take a jug to rinse the soap off....!

  • Stayed for Valentine's weekend. Flat was in a good location for us, as we travelled by rail. A short, uphill walk from railway station. Liked the decor and furnishing! Had everything we needed and were welcomed by Melissa. Good restaurants nearby to try: Timbrell's Yard and Thai Barn

    Sally2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Melissas place. Melissa was very helpful about the local area and the apartment was perfect. It had all our needs for a relaxing weekend. Would highly recommend :)

  • This apartment was perfectly located, we visited the bath Christmas markets and it was the ideal place to stay. The apartment is very modern and has everything you will need! We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning to Bradford on avon, such a lovely place.

  • What you see is what you get! I liked the decor as it’s not the usual boring black and white you usually get with air bnbs. Also has a fully functioning kitchen and has everything you would need for a short stay. It’s a 20 min drive to bath, there is free parking which is amazing, and if you want to take the train it’s a 13 minute walk.

    Sandra2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Melissa’s place. The flat is stylish, spotless and welcoming and had everything we needed. A great location to explore beautiful BOA and Bath. Highly recommended!

  • Lovely place to stay, and a very short drive to get to Bath. It has everything you need for a weekend away, very nice bathroom, comfy bed and the kitchen is fully kitted out, Melissa had kindly put some bits in the fridge. If I’m in the area again I would definitely stay again.

Self contained modern and quirky little flat, newly fitted and decorated. Has a good sized double bedroom and a single bedroom with a single bed. The flat is cosy and warm for the winter and large Velux windows for the summer. Thanks to the large windows nice and light space. Fitted kitchen with oven or microwave and a small fridge freezer. The flat is above the main house but you have your own entrance and hallway leading up to the flat. Located on a working farm.
The flat is above the main house located on a working farm. We're a young family living downstairs with two dogs but we will not bother you as you have your own entrance leading up to the flat. The flat is newly fitted and decorated so everything is fresh and clean. You can share our driveway to park.
There are lots of walking routes being in the heart of the Somerset countryside! we are located within Beckington a lovely old village and within minutes' walking distance of two lovely pubs - The Forrester's and The Woolpack - a gorgeous local café - Mes Amis -and a brilliant Farm Shop - White Row. Easy access to the A36 enabling you to easily visit local areas such as Frome, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Street, Wells and Bath to name but a few! Really lovely area with plenty to do. Please be aware - You would be staying on a working dairy farm. We are Organic Jersey Farmers and therefore due to health and safety and hygiene reasons the farm would not be accessible to guests without prior arrangement. IF convenient we may be able to give you a tour but contact with the cows would be limited as they can find visitors stressful and we have young stock, exposure to certain germs could endanger their lives.
  • Fantastic quiet space, perfect to relax in. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely return for another weekend

  • We spent a lovely three night stay in Turleigh. The appartment was the ideal base for visiting Bath and Bradford on Avon. The appartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. The host Louise was welcoming, helpful and thoughtful. We would stay here again without a doubt.

  • A nice small flat, quiet and well-kept, conveniently located to bus stops in both directions (Bath and Bradford on Avon). Louise and Robert were attentive hosts. A loaf of fresh-baked bread on our first morning was a nice touch.

  • Stayed here for one night while visiting Bath for the Christmas Markets. Lovely village location approx 6 miles from a Bath Park & Ride. The apartment had everything we needed and more! The freshly baked bread and warm croissants left on the door for breakfast in the morning was a lovely gesture and thoroughly enjoyed! Louise and her husband were great hosts, easy to communicate with. Will recommend to friends wanting to visit the area. The village pub is also fantastic, we had an amazing meal there on the Saturday evening of or stay!

Central Bradford on Avon. Light spacious maisonette on two floors in period property. All of the town's amenities are within a level walk. Walk: 5 minutes to the canal for a cooked breakfast, 7 minutes to the train station for a quick visit to Bath, or simply stroll around our beautiful historic town with its numerous little shops and abundant restaurants. It is perfect for a family with two school age children or four people (Nb. two flights of stairs). No Bath just shower.
A lovely comfortable home from home in a great location with flexible accommodation. There are two bedrooms with the photos set up as a double upstairs and single downstairs. There is an additional single bed which can be set up in either room according to your need. If it is in the smaller bedroom we run it in front of the fireplace. Perfect for two children or snug for adults! The property is presently on the market for sale but not sold. We are very open to a month by month let to the right person who would help us achieve this.
Bradford-on-Avon is notorious for being nestled into the hills. The location of the maisonette however is on the level with the centre of town (5mins walk) and the countryside and canal (even closer). Parking is another rare bonus for a central location.
  • Bradford-on-Avon is so lovely, and this is a great base to enjoy it from.

  • Stayed for a long weekend and this apartment is absolutely beautiful. It’s very stylish, extremely clean and well equipped. Hans and Jackie were the perfect hosts. The bread, milk and other goodies were very welcome. We were very sad to leave today but will be back without a doubt, maybe in the summer months next time, but Bradford-on-Avon, at Christmas, is stunning. Would highly recommend Hans & Jackie’s apartment and the parking space (although a tight fit for our Range Rover) was an absolute bonus. Thank you again Sandra

  • Had a really wonderful stay. Hans & Jackie were exceptional in making our stay a really joyful one. They were quick to come back on my messages and had some great recommendations of where to eat and drink. The apartment was lovely and for a girls weekend away it was perfect. The beds are SO comfy! It's really central in the beautiful town of Bradford on avon, however it's still really quiet within the apartment. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting a nice break away. We loved Cru wines (Wine bar) it has a wonderful atmosphere. Bunch of grapes was a favourite of ours and by far the best food restaurant we found. We'll definitely come back!

    Katie2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • When we were planning our monthlong trip to the British Isles we wanted to find a location where we could base for a week and do day trip explorations. We found the perfect place in Bradford on Avon and especially at Hans & Jackie’s place. We day tripped to Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds! The apartment is as you see on Airbnb and is spotless on arrival. Trains into Bath or Salisbury are conveniently just a few blocks away. Food stores and restaurants are within walking distance. And the river/canal paths are great places to walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It was our home for a week and we have Hans & Jackie to thank for making it so pleasant.

    Dwight2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Hans and Jackie’s place is an absolute haven. Whilst you can’t get a better location in Bradford on Avon, you also probably can’t find a cleaner or more beautiful space to relax and retreat to. It is homely and spotlessly clean. And the beds are super comfy. We will stay here again when we’re come back to BOA.

    Emma2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the location of Hilary's flat, close to the river and an easy walk into town. The flat was beautifully furnished and we especially appreciated the provision of bread and milk so we could have breakfast before going shopping. We had a lovely weekend in Bradford-on-Avon.

    Karen2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Hilary's apartment is the right place to discover Bradford on Avon, Bath and Salisbury. We enjoyed the apartment and the little garden. It has everything you need and we would recommend it anytime. Maybe not with too small kids because Hilary has very nice things and these could be in danger :) The communication was great with Hilary. Bradford on Avon is really charming. We recommend the Dandy Lion and the Timbrell's Yard ( especially for Sunday roast).

  • Hilary's place is really nice and has a lovely garden. It is perfectly located to explore Bradford on Avon and enjoy the quiet of the river. We would thoroughly recommend to others.

  • We had a really enjoyable stay at Hilary’s place, everything was as described. The house was clean, tidy, warm and welcoming - the pictures do it justice! Hilary also provided our first breakfast which was extremely thoughtful. The house is in a lovely little village and only a 10 min walk to the station. Hilary was a wonderful host and very kindly allowed us to move the dates of our stay back when the snow trapped us back in March. Would recommend this place highly and would happily stay again.
