This converted barn offers a spacious living and dining area with an open plan kitchen, downstairs bathroom, with bath and shower, the mezzanine bedroom is a romantic hideaway with a large double bed. The barn is decorated with quirky antiques and one off pieces that add to the character of the space. Ideal for long walks in the countryside, boating along the Thames, delicious pub lunches or browsing the shops! This Loft is a perfect location for a weekend away in the Cotswolds!
Lechlade on Thames and Highworth are two great market towns both within 5 minutes drive, with several pubs, restaurants and lovely shops. Burford & Cirencester are also short drives away with lots of antiques, markets and curiosity shops and the well know Cotswold Wildlife park is just down the road.

  • The Loft is an excellent “home from home”. The space felt larger (and loftier) than pictures convey. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Despite having a neighbouring barn in same driveway, we felt tucked away, and didn’t hear a peep from anyone. It is a perfect property for a couple to chill, and our two dogs enjoyed it too. It is a short walk from the Thames Path, which provides a safe meandering walk to Lechlade and The Riverside Inn, which also welcomed our dogs. We would love to visit again.

    CORONAVIRUS: Our outhouse is isolated and self contained for those worried about Coronavirus. We thoroughly clean it between stays. We are only taking booking currently for essential work or travel due to the Coronavirus epidemic. Oxford is just 3.5 miles away from our spacious garden guesthouse. Relax in peace on the edge of a large woodland. Peace, quiet and nature combined with being very close to Oxford - enjoy !
    Tranquility a short distance from the city. This is a new building built for guests' comfort. You'll have nature all around you. Don't be surprised to see and hear owls, deer, bats, squirrels, pheasants and more. We have just installed a new King Size bed with a great mattress.
    The neighbourhood is quiet and countrified. Walkers cyclists and horse-riders are familiar sights.

  • I stayed here for 8 days in 02/2020, and I cannot recommend this cottage enough as a base for exploring Oxford, Blenheim Palace, and the Cotswolds. The space has one large room and a wonderful bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. I used the wifi, skylights, and TV effortlessly! The hosts provide coffee, tea, cereal, breads, milk, sugar, hot water pot, refrigerator, shampoo, shower wash, hair dryer, and many personal amenities that proved quite helpful. The location is quiet and dark, and it is only a few minutes to the Redbridge Park and Ride into Oxford. In short, I have stayed at many Airbnb places over the years, and this one may be my favorite. I'll return!

    This cosy 2 bedroom barn is the ideal bolt hole for a country getaway. Comfortable double bedroom & cosy single bedroom, open plan living room & kitchen and bathroom. A great place to escape to & explore the Cotswolds. From 1.10.19 there will be a £10 linen charge if two guests book and use both bedrooms.
    This is a really cosy cottage that sleeps 2 or 3 people, a snug living room with an open plan kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower all on the ground floor. A small double bedroom and single bedroom upstairs. A perfect bolt hole in the Cotswold countryside. Beautifully surrounded by rolling fields and located on Thames path for country strolls. The picturesque Town of Burford is nearby for antique shopping and tea rooms. Cirencester and Lechlade are close by too for even more Cotswold exploring.

  • Just got back from our stay with our dog, unfortunately the fields were flooded so we couldn't enjoy the near by walks, but that is no ones fault, but there are plenty of places to take the dog to nearby in the car. The house was lovely and tidy and the hosts were very helpful especially when helping us was the dog blanket after he was sick in the car. Nice little cottage, perfect for the fiance and I, nice and clean too. Thanks for having us.

    This funky, open plan two double bedroom barn, an ideal bolt hole for a country getaway, rural location, however within easy reach of everything the Cotswolds have to offer, we are on the Thames Path. Bibury, Burford. A great place to escape & explore the Cotswolds! We allow well behaved dogs, by prior arrangement. No dogs on the furniture or upstairs. There will be a £10 for large dogs, ie Labrador’s £5 for small. From 1/10/19 there will be a £10 linen charge if two guests use both bedrooms.
    This modern, comfortable and eclectic self contained open plan living space, has a large, comfy leather sofa with TV. Bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs has two spacious double bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed the other bedroom has a super king size bed or can be converted to two single beds. There is a cot available for hire at £10, however we do not provide the bedding. Please ask if it’s available.
    Lechlade and Highworth are two great market towns both within 5 minutes drive, with several pubs, restaurants and shops. Burford & Cirencester are also short drive away with lots of antiques, farmers markets and curiosity shops and the well known Cotswold Wildlife park is just down the road. We are on the Thames Path, so you can walk along the river to Lechlade. Sensible boots or shoes are needed and weather permitting. Approximately 45minutes walk.

  • Beautiful converted barn, felt very homely and contemporary. Host Henry was very accommodating about us having to arrive beyond the check in time due to work. We had a very enjoyable stay, a perfect get away weekend after a stressful couple of months. We visited local area of Burford which was very pretty and enjoyed a Sunday roast, would recommend. Cooking food was really easy and made a relaxing evening. Host had supplied tea, coffee, milk,butter and bread which was a lovely touch and really helpful.

    The Barn, sits in the gardens of Bridge House in the historic town of Lechlade, gateway to the Cotswolds. Whilst the interior has been modernised to provide luxurious accommodation, it still retains much of it's period charm and character.
    The Barn sleeps 6 people and comprises 1 double bedroom and 1 family room which sleeps 4. There is a bathroom with power shower, wc and basin. Downstairs the open plan kitchen/dining area is perfect for a relaxed breakfast or a romantic dinner. The light and airy sitting room looks out through white wooden shutters onto the beautiful garden. 2 large sofas provide a comfortable setting for relaxing whether you're chatting with friends or watching TV and there is a piano for our more musical guests.
    The bustling market town of Lechlade-on-Thames sits on the southern edge of the Cotswolds and is named after the River Leach which joins the Thames nearby. It's a favourite mooring spot for river boats and a popular location for fishermen. There are several pubs, restaurants and antique shops to visit in the town as well as the famous Christmas shop. There is a plethora of walks, not just along the banks of the Thames but around the lakes and surrounding countryside. It's a wonderful place from which to explore the nearby towns and villages and discover the beauty of the Cotswolds.

Being a gated property with a lovely garden area, meant you truly felt secluded, despite only being a few minute walk from the town.     This is a very special welcome and airy home located on 2 1/2 acres in a small Cotswold village. The house a perfect country retreat, beautifully presented and stylish with large, spacious rooms. The house is a perfect space for relaxing or entertaining friends, simply nothing but perfection!
    The house is the perfect country retreat. The downstairs rooms are all communal which makes the house ideal for entertaining or just 'hanging out'. The house features a large, modern open communal space which includes a double-height reception area (around a large stone fireplace), kitchen. A second reception room which is decorated more traditionally, perfect for evenings with a fire lit and a film on the projector screen. A cozy study off the second reception room includes a fireplace. Five double bedrooms include a large master bedroom and second VIP guest bedroom. Underfloor heating throughout the house with oak floors in the reception areas. This is an excellent holiday cottage in every respect, perfect for a large family or for two or three couples with kids who fancy a home for a 'proper' holiday or equally for a short weekend trip to the Cotswolds. ACCOMODATION Welcoming entrance hall with double-height ceiling. Off the entrance hall is the most wonderful boot room which doubles as a guest loo, so inviting you might just decide to spend your holiday in the loo! Main reception room is a gorgeous space decorated in muted colours around a large stone fireplace. This room has large windows with lots of light and is open to the dining space and kitchen, offering modern use of the large space. The large dining table, which seats up to 18 people, lives between the main reception area and the open kitchen. True to its name, Garden House is filled with lots of plants and flowers, and the dining space doubles as a conservatory, opening onto a large pond filled with koi! The kitchen is a delightful space which makes meal-preparation a fun group activity. The best part is a traditional wood oven perfect for pizza night! The master bedroom is on the second floor above the communal space, with an extra-large king bed and private terrace, bathroom with large shower and separate traditional bathtub, and large walk-in closet. The second reception room is decorated more traditionally, with a lovely wood burning stove and movie projector and screen which drop down for the ceiling. Connected to SKY and AppleTV, this room is perfect for a film after a lovely evening meal. The study is a cozy space decorated with loads of books and comfy furniture. Light the fire and tuck into your book! The first floor features two further en suite bedrooms. One in particular is large, I call it the VIP guest bedroom, and is perfect for a second couple. Frankly you may well find the VIP guest bedroom, with its queen four poster bed, even more inviting than the master bedroom. The VIP guest bathroom is large, with a walk-in shower and separate traditional bathtub. The third guest bedroom on this level, with a double bed, is a lovely room, with an en suite bathroom. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are in the loft, sharing a private bathroom off the landing. Each with a double bed, these bedrooms are not as special as the others but is perfect for a couple of kids, single adults or couples that are not fussy.
    Location. Little Faringdon is a charming Cotswold village (20 cottages only), with the village church across the road from the house. Little Faringdon has lots of fun and interesting characters, though is a quiet village and Garden House benefits from lots of privacy. The village is located just 3 miles outside of Lechlade and 10 miles from Burford, both of which have lots of shops. The house is 5 miles from the Cotswolds Wildlife Park which kids of all ages love. Pubs. There are several wonderful pubs locally, and in particular I would recommend the Plough in Kelmscott, the Five Alls in Filkins, The Bell in Langford and the Swan in Southrop. The Ox Barn at Thyme Manor in Southrop is an excellent restaurant and bar which uses seasonal ingredients locally sourced (warning: expect London prices). All recommendations are within a 5 minute drive from Garden House and with wonderful food and atmosphere! Advance reservations are strongly recommended on weekends. Provisions. Ocado will deliver to the house, although I encourage guests to shop locally in nearby Lechlade where there are grocery stores (Londis and Co-op), an excellent butcher (Cutler & Bayliss), and a knowledgable wine merchant (Vin-Est). Nearby Burford also has a wonderful selection of stores for provisions. Shopping locally supports our community and is a part of the pleasure of being in the countryside.

  • The house is beautiful and full of character inside. We felt like we were treasured friends rather than paying guests. The house was full of home comforts and fascinating objects to look at. Jeff was very generous at providing lots of different types of teas, coffees, jams etc and we felt rather honoured that he entrusted his home to us. Shirley the housekeeper welcomed us on arrival, showed us around the house and explained how certain things worked eg the projector, heating, wifi. I highly recommend a visit and would certainly like to go back there.

    The Studio is a recently converted, good-sized open plan living space with a shower and toilet on the ground floor. It is separate from the house and located above the garage with your own private entrance. There is a kitchenette area for preparing food which comprises of a sink, fridge, microwave, portable hob, kettle and toaster plus crockery and cutlery for your private use. There is a double bed, sofa and Apple TV.
    Access to the space is through the back garden and you will have the use of 1 parking space. Please note we have two dogs Len and Lou who are very friendly but extra care needs to be taken with locking the gate.
    The Studio is in Wantage, a small market town close to the famous Uffington White Horse and the dreaming spires of Oxford. We are also within a 15 minute drive from the Harwell Science Park and Milton Business Park and Didcot train station. It is also ideal for walking/cycling the Ridgeway or exploring the birthplace of King Alfred. There are frequent buses to Oxford and Didcot. My place would suit people staying on business trips.

    My place is in Wantage, a small market town close to the famous Uffington White Horse and the dreaming spires of Oxford. We are also within a 15 minute drive from the Harwell Science Park. Ideal for walking/cycling the Ridgeway or exploring the birthplace of King Alfred. There are frequent buses to Oxford and Didcot. My place would suit people staying on business trips or weekend breaks. People staying on longer holidays are welcome as long as access to a full kitchen is not needed.
    The accommodation comprises a good-sized sitting room, bedroom and en suite shower room. This is part of our house but you will be completely private and have a separate outside entrance. There is a small courtyard area outside with table and chairs. There is an area within the sitting room for preparing food which comprises of a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster plus crockery and cutlery for your private use but please note it does not have a full oven or hob or sink. We will put any used crockery in our dishwasher for you.
    Wantage is a busy and pretty market town and the property is close to the centre with access to all the shops and local attractions. We are in a suburban part of Wantage, but only a 10 minute drive to lovely walks in the countryside including access to the Ridgeway and our position means that you can easily enjoy local pubs and restaurants without having to use the car. Please note that we are next to a road so there is some road noise during rush hour.

    Our self-contained, double-bed suite is ideally located just 3 minutes walk from Wantage town center on a quiet, charming street. Experience a bit of history in this 1850's converted convent.     This is a fabulous building. The private entrance to your suite opens into a corridor that really feels like it was built in the 1850's. 2 parking spaces also come with your stay.
    Wantage is a charming market town with lots of restaurants and pubs. We have a Waitrose and a Sainsbury's. Priory Road is known to be the prettiest road in the town with a beautiful church at one end and a lovely converted convent (where we live) at the other.

The studio is 5 mins walk to Wantage town centre with its shops, restaurants, cafes and transport links. The neighbourhood is quiet and modern with lovely walks close by.
    Our contemporary studio flat has its own small kitchen and en suite shower room. There is also access to the garden for your private use during your stay. For kids, there are outdoor toys and a lovely 2-floor playhouse in the garden.

We have a new cocktail sofa and bed frame and mattress to ensure you get the best nights sleep possible. The bathroom has also been refitted and redecorated. Complimentary toiletries will be provided along with towels. On street parking is available outside our property and directly opposite in the car park. Please note, spaces are limited at certain times of the day. There are nearby roads which are a short walk away where you can also park (Ormond Road).
    Wantage boasts a variety of lovely independent coffee shops and restaurants (we even have a small licensed cinema!). Every Saturday there is a local food market in the town square where you can purchase breads, honey, kombucha and much more. Within 7 minutes you can be in either a Waitrose or a large Sainsburys. The National Trust White Horse Hill is a 13 minute drive away. It's a lovely place to stretch your legs and on a clear day from this, the highest point in Oxfordshire, you can see 6 counties. There are some quaint local villages too which you can walk/take a short drive to which have some wonderful pubs which we can happily recommend. Overall, Wantage is a charming town surrounded by sleepy villages and vibrant Oxford is also just a stone throw away.

Two bedroom, 1 .5 bathrooms, two storey terraced house with steps leading to front door. Clean bright terraced house with comfortable bright interior. Ground floor has 1 cloakroom, lounge/dining room/kitchen. Upstairs has two bedrooms and one bathroom with electric shower. Free parking available close to the house.
    Wantage King Alfred square is just minutes walk away if you wish to catch a bus to Oxford (they run every 30 minutes)! Enjoy the walk to the square along Letcombe brook and feed the ducks or meander through John Betjeman park adjacent to the brook. Groceries you need look no further than Waitrose or Sainsburys they are just off the square. Restaurants are plenty choose from Indian or Thai, Fish'n chips or Pizza, Chinese or Subway etc.etc., Local farmers markets are held in the King Alfred square every Wednesday and Saturday. One of Wantages hidden gems is their local museum located behind the Swan pub and opposite the St Peter & St Paul's church. Appreciate the local history by watching short movies in the museums mini theatre and wander the specialty rooms depicting earlier times. Take time out to enjoy their cafe and take in their current exhibits usually local artisans displayed in the surrounding rooms. Enjoy CAMRA awarded pubs, or work out at the gym or sports center. Local library is well stocked and internet access is available with computer access. Take a short drive to the beautifully situated White Horse in Uffington. Walk the Ridgeway or follow Letcombe brook (details in the museum). Not to be missed are the famous Cotswolds a mere 45 minute drive, Lechlade and Burford are on your doorstep. Anyone needing a train to London, Reading or Swindon can drive just 10 short miles to the Didcot train station. We are close to Williams F1, Harwell and Marcham Business Parks.

    Welcome to our home! Guests will have sole use of the double bedroom as well as access to the bathroom, living room and kitchen. We are located less than a minutes walk to the local shops (about 10 seconds in reality!!) and a 2 minute walk to the bus stop taking you straight to Oxford. Grove provides great access to Wantage, Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford, Swindon and surrounding areas.
    We live in such a lovely area, it is quiet and we are never bothered by anyone. Our neighbours are friendly and look out for us, the house and our guests.

    A super flat minutes away from historical Wantage town center with its own private entrance and off-street parking for one vehicle.The market town of Wantage boasts lots of independent and national shops, restaurants, cafes and transport links.The neighbourhood is quiet and modern with lovely walks close by including The Ridgeway.Ideal base for a couple, business travellers, contractors or visitors for a short stay away from home. Long term/regular stays acceptable. Free WiFi, linen and towels.
    Once inside there is one bedroom with a double bed and a built-in wardrobe with plenty of hangers. the lounge area has two large windows allowing lots of light in and a comfy two seater sofa. There is a Smart TV allowing guests to stream their own accounts from YouTube, Netflix or Amazon etc. There is a well stocked kitchen with a breakfast bar and seating. A fridge freezer, kettle, microwave oven and toaster are available to use in addition to the oven & hob. The property is heated by electric panel heaters providing a cosy space. Plenty of hot water too, for the bath and shower. The property is accessed up about a dozen steps which are exposed to the elements, so take care when wet or icy. Entrance under a covered walkway. A key box is located directly outside and is used for access.
    Wantage has great transport links to Oxford, Didcot and Abingdon. To the south, the M4 motorway is only 15 mins away. The town centre offers a mixture of high street brands and many independent shops. There is a Costa within a 5 min walk located in Market Place and on Wednesday and Saturdays a traditional market takes place.     The accommodation we offer is a self contained studio apartment with a double bed, living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, small shower room and utility cupboard. Although part of our house, the apartment has a private entrance, accessed through our rear garden (use of the garden and bbq not available to guests) Off road parking on our gravel drive. An early check in can be available from 12.00 upon request for a small locally paid charge of £20 Self check in is available upon request. Once the booking has been confirmed we will provide a combination code for the key store which is next to the entrance door. The newly fitted kitchen area is equipped with an oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. We also provide cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery, glasses, tea towels and washing up essentials. Teas, coffees, cafetierre and fresh milk for your first night. The living area has a 2 seater sofa, large tv, and bistro style table with 2 chairs. The sleeping area has a double bed (all bedding provided), bed side tables with lamps, and a wardrobe with drawers under. Shelf with mirror over. Hairdryer. The shower room is equipped with towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo. The utility cupboard has a washing machine , tumble dryer, mini ironing board and iron. Central heating. *** We also have a double bedroom and bathroom on airbnb (with it's own private entrance at the front of the house) if further accommodation is required. This adjoins the apartment and the inter-connecting door can be unlocked to provide one large space. Please see our self contained suite for prices and reviews. *** Please note our house is situated on a main road but the accommodation is to the rear of the property , so traffic noise is not a problem. We are a non smoking property. Sorry, no pets. East Challow is just outside the pretty market town of Wantage. Wantage itself is famous for being the birth place of Alfred the Great- an ancient king of England. It is also within easy reach of The Ridgeway and the world famous White Horse at Uffington. It is also known as being in the heart of the horse racing industry with many well known stables in the Wantage and Lambourn area. East Challow is approximately 20 miles from the university city of Oxford with good road and public transport links. As hosts we don't tend to interact with the guests other than showing the guests to the room and explaining the facilities that are available. However we live in the house and so will be on hand to answer any questions and advise on local amenities should this be a requirement. East Challow is an interesting village with lots of local walks. The people are very friendly and there are many local pubs in the surrounding area offering a variety of good food and drink. A local bus can be caught to take you into Wantage. An express service to Oxford can be taken from there. From Oxford, London can be reached in about two hours on the bus. London can also reached in about an hour on the train from Didcot which is about 6 miles from Wantage. I also have a number of taxi numbers should this be a requirement.
    East Challow is an interesting village with a pretty church and lots of local walks. The reclamation yard (Haynes of Challow) sells a variety of new and used items and is great for a browse. There is no pub in the village, but surrounding villages and the nearby town of Wantage (1.5 miles ) provide plenty of places to eat and drink. Nearby Wiliam's formula one (2.5 miles) Lains barn wedding venue ( 3 miles) The Ridgeway (3 miles) White Horse Hill (6 miles) Harwell (7.5 miles) Didcot parkway railway station (10 miles) Oxford (17 miles) Cotswolds (approx 20 miles) Bicester village outlet centre (27 miles) Central London (70 miles)

  • I stayed at Karen’s small studio per almost three weeks. I have to say that it is the first time i have such an amazing experience. Starting from the host attention and help. Karen is a very nice and kind person. She tried to be there all the time taking care of things in order to make me feel like home. The studio is very good, clean and cosy. It has everything one needs for a short or long stay. The location is good with buses (it depends where you wanna go). In my case, i was in UK for work, thus i had to be more careful about the bus connections to harwell campus. Otherwise you can have a nice walk to the town where you can find stores, restaurants, museums and buses to Oxford, harwell, didcot... etc. I will extremely recommend this place.

    I rent out four bedsit rooms in our lovely family house. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac, 5 minutes from Wantage Market Place. Each room has crockery and cutlery, a kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge. And also a TV/DVD player and fast broadband. We don't have locks on the bedroom doors. The bathroom doors have locks, and we have locks on the outside doors. Most people are happy with that arrangement.
    We rent out 4 rooms in our house. I usually have long term guests in 3 of the rooms, but occasionally I am able to let them out to short term guests. I have one room on the first floor that I keep for short term guests. It has a has a comfy double bed, and also a flatscreen TV, dvd player, high speed broadband, microwave oven, fridge, kettle and toaster. The other rooms have single beds, but otherwise the same facilities.
    Wantage is a lovely small market town in the Vale of White Horse, and has a good range of shops and services, including plenty of places to eat and drink. Links with the past are very strong too, and Wantage is a great place to visit to enjoy this historic part of England. Our house is within walking distance of Wantage town centre (5 minutes) and is a short drive from local businesses such as Crown Packaging, Williams F1, Grove 2000, Milton Park, Culham Laboratory, AEA Technology Harwell, Rutherford Laboratory (RAL) and Diamond Light Source.

    East Challow is an interesting village with lots of local walks, a pretty church and a very popular reclamation centre ( Haynes of Challow) Unfortunately our local pub has closed down, but we are surrounded by pretty villages that do have pubs. We are happy to advise on good places to eat. We are just over a mile from the historic market town of Wantage - birthplace of Alfred the Great. The town boasts many shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, including Chinese, Indian and Thai. The Bear hotel in the square serves an excellent Sunday lunch! The well known wedding venue of Lains Barn is a short distance away, as is the head quarters of Williams Grand Prix Racing and Ardington Crafts school. We are within easy reach of the Ridgeway and the world famous White Horse Hill. East Challow is approximately 20 minutes from the university city of Oxford and about an hour away from some of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds.

    For business and leisure travellers alike this ideally located central townhouse situated in a quiet development, within easy drive of Oxford, Abingdon, Swindon, Newbury, Reading. Accommodation includes a spacious double bedroom and separate bathroom. Located in a 5 minute walk to Wantage town centre. Use of lounge, kitchen. Parking available for one car. Wantage is a market town with a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and cafes, fitness centres, a swimming pool and tennis courts.
    The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, with use of a separate lounge area for relaxing after a long day. The double bedroom has its own separate bathroom (not ensuite) with both shower and bath. During the summer there is a garden patio to enjoy in the evening. If needed breakfast and dinner can be arranged with 24 hour notice for an extra charge.
    This is a quiet, safe market town with a broad range of restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the town itself, as well as in the surrounding nearby villages. The house is located close to a well known leisure centre with swimming pool, gym and squash courts. The local tennis club is a 5 minute walk from the house. For hiking and walking there are many different routes across the magnificent Wessex Downs and the famous Ridgeway. Both a short car ride away from the house. The town has two major supermarkets and lots of lovely gift shops selling local art products - glass, leather, paintings and small household items. On Saturdays and Wednesdays there is a local market held on the market square where you can buy artisan breads, local honey, eggs, vegetables, flowers and fruit as well as Kombucha (fermented tea) and some other local items.

    Our place is good for business travellers, solo adventurers, and couples. We live in a small village which is perfectly located for the A34 taking you to Oxford, London (via Didcot railway station) and the famous Bicester Designer Village for Boutique shopping. Trains frequently go from Didcot to Paddington Station in London within 45 minutes. A parking space is available for guests.
    The bedroom is at the front of the house with its own private ensuite room with shower. We are a 15 minute drive to the nearest Park and Ride into Oxford or 20 minute drive (traffic permitting) into central Oxford. Oxford parking is expensive (average £2.50 an hour with most streets being 2 hours maximum parking or resident only parking) so the Park and Ride service is the cheapest and quickest way to travel into central Oxford. We are also conveniently located for Didcot Railway Station which has many fast trains into London Paddington so perfect for accessing business meetings or tourist attractions in the capital. We are an average 15 minute drive (traffic permitting) to Didcot station where parking can be booked ahead. Our house is also only a 20 minute drive from the M4.
    Marcham is a small village with a local pub and a community run shop. It is a great place to be to escape the huddle and bussle of city or town life.

    Court Hill Annexe is attached to a house where Francis Bacon (the artist) used to live. It is a self contained space with sitting room, kitchen, shower room and bedroom. Access is through the front door of the main house but otherwise the annexe is completely self contained. Chieveley is a pretty village in Berkshire with excellent access to Newbury, Reading, Oxford, Swindon or Winchester. Court Hill is set amongst fields ideal for walking.
    There is a laundry room which is shared. There is also ample parking
    Chieveley has a shop, a pub and a church.

  • This is a very stylish space within the Host’s own home. The space is a self contained area accessed just inside the main front door. To reach the house you have to travel down a narrow private road and then a dirt track (which can be bumpy in places) but it is well worth the effort. The living area is spacious, and there is a full kitchen area included and comes supplied with all the associated crockery and utensils / cookware you will need. The host met me in person, and gave very good directions in advance (which are needed to avoid getting lost especially if you arrive after dark) The house is close to the M4 motorway but I didn’t find the traffic noise at all intrusive. The place has a very stylish appearance and everything feels very high quality - WiFi is provided but I didn’t need it as there was an excellent signal for both Virgin and O2 networks. The shower room is fabulous and bedroom area is spacious and has a very comfortable double bed. I highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future.

Situated in Wantage town centre, you're less than a 2 minute walk to Sainsbury's supermarket and even closer to multiple other shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the twice weekly market.
    A perfectly located flat for access to Oxford, Didcot, Abingdon, Harwell, Milton Park, Williams F1 and many other great local businesses and attractions. Entering the flat via the external stair case, you come straight into the large kitchen and living space. The fully fitted kitchen comes with a large american style fridge / freezer, electric double oven & hob, dishwasher and washer / dryer as well as everything needed to cook up a feast. In the lounge area of the room you have a comfy sofa, coffee table and smart TV as well as a single sofa bed / chair. Walking through the hallway, you pass by the incredibly bright and spacious newly fitted shower room on your way to the bedroom. The large bedroom with its high ceilings and feature fireplace has a king size bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and hanging rails, providing able space to relax.
