United States Vacation Rentals

Just booked in Waitsburg

Come stay in our private guesthouse located on 2-acres with ample off-street parking and big shade trees. Located 10 minutes from downtown Walla Walla and 2 minutes from Walla Walla University, our one-bedroom guesthouse is ideal for short term tourist visits and university-related trips (graduations, parent days, student pick-up/delivery). Year-round fun in an indoor pool and hot tub. Oh, and you will find fast internet here. Relax on the back deck with views of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy
This is a spacious guest house. It includes a roomy bedroom, a living area with view, and brand new bathroom with a luxurious round glass shower. There is a washer and dryer. The full kitchen includes stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. You will find a big-screen TV connected to a Chromebox with a very fast internet connection. The windows look out over a patio table and chairs, and large yard with excellent privacy.
College Place is a quiet university town. We are located on a quiet 2-acres just on the edge of town, a 5-minute walk to the University. It is the kind of safe place where many people don't lock their doors at night. Andy's Market is a few blocks away - with outstanding fresh produce of every kind. All the valley wineries and wine tasting are a short drive away.
  • The location was perfect and accommodations were great. Our group of 4 stayed very comfortably and enjoyed being able to sit outside in the early morning and enjoy the views. We had a lot of things to attend at the University and were easily a quick 15 to 20 minute walk from most. Our stay was well worth it.

  • Awesome place! Clean and cozy. Just as pictured. They also have a lovely sweet dog who my dog loved as well, which was cute and entertaining for us. Great communication and hospitality. Also, beautiful property and gardens. Thank you!

  • We loved staying at Art & Ronda's apt! From the friendly greeting of the family dog, to the beautiful views/peaceful garden, to the private swimming pool, to the comfortable bed, to the fully stocked kitchen, this place had it all! Art & Ronda were wonderful to work with-very communicative & friendly. We would recommend it in an instant & look forward to staying thee again!

  • Lovely place to stay. Convenient, clean, nice view and yard. Very private, but Art and Ronda very quick to respond to any questions. Bed was very comfortable. There are no TV stations available, but there is good internet.

  • Art and Ronda's cottage has everything you need for a visit to this area. It is super clean and cozy, we also enjoyed the hot tub. If you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay while visiting Walla Walla, this spot is perfect. It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown.

    Annie2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute, comfortable, clean place. Art and Ronda were great hosts. Pretty view of the Blue Mountains from the front porch. Within driving, but not walking, distance to downtown.

This riverfront property is unique in that it is within walking distance to downtown yet sits in a seemingly remote wilderness setting. Flanked by trees to the North and South, the main view is the river to the West with the golf course on the far side. To gain access into the home, we will communicate this procedure through our email interactions. To allow enough time to prepare the home for renters, check in is 3pm and Check out is 11am. Exceptions can be made ahead of time. During winter, the outdoor furniture is put away, but when the weather is consistently warmer and dry, you may use the outdoor amenities as well. the large deck and multiple flag stone patios make for beautiful spaces to spend a sunny afternoon. I may or may not see you during your stay. I'm often around working on the three rentals I have on Dayton Ave. What don't I love? I lived in this house for 12 years. It's at the very end of a quiet, residential street. It's not unlikely to see deer on the property or a wandering rafter of wild turkeys. We've also viewed beavers and otters in the river. The house is within walking distance to all of downtown including historic sites such as the Smith Hollow School, the Dayton Historic Depot (State's oldest existing train depot) and the Columbia County Courthouse (State's oldest working courthouse). Dayton also has three historic districts (2 residential and 1 commercial. Stop into the Dayton Chamber of Commerce to get a walking map. If it's a nature walk you want, walk up Front Street to Flour Mill Park on Main Street to gain access to the Dike Trail which follows the Touchet River for two miles. You can walk to incredible restaurants such as the Weinhard Cafe, the Manila Bay Cafe on Main Street or the Patit Creek Restaurant also on Dayton Ave (definitely make reservations for the last two). I also recommend having a beer at Chief Springs Brew Pub and ordering the world's best pizza from their restaurant next door. There is a private driveway for parking up to two vehicles and plenty of street parking available. If you want public transit during the day, the Columbia County Transit is very convenient.
  • Loved the deck over the river and the wild life. Deer, raccoon, heron, and quail came through in daylight. Lovely breeze to read and chill with.

  • My wife was a bit skittish about trying Airbnb, but this experience has made her a fan. Though we didn't see Brad, he was a welcoming host and helpful with any questions we had. He obviously put some time and money into finishing the house. My wife used terms like "oasis," "haven," and "refuge." We were able to relax on the deck and enjoy the rushing water. Very peaceful. The cabin has everything you would need to cook simple meals, but I would recommend visiting some of the local restaurants that are within a 10-15 minute walk. We were not disappointed with any that we tried. The only issue we had was that it looked as if no one had been in the house for a while so there were some cobwebs and dead bugs in the corners/windows. That said, we recommend the house highly. We like new adventures, and don't usually repeat places we've stayed, but this might be a location to which we return.

  • Perfect little hidden cabin in a wonderful little town. The house was perfect size for 2, but could accommodate a couple more people/kids. The deck is large and there is an additional area near the river with a fire pit and chairs. We were visiting during a burn ban, but sat in the chairs near the river anyway. It's has a very private calm relaxing feel to this hidden gem. We visited the Fire and Irons Brew and had the delicious pizza from next door. We visited Palouse Falls, which was amazing, and enjoyed a well deserved burger and beer at the Rawhide Bar and Grill in Starbuck. I will plan to visit again soon. Thanks Brad for sharing this lovely home.

  • Brad went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I was arriving at night and he left the light on outside the house and one inside the house so that I did not have to enter a dark house. And furthermore, Brad had a bottle of Walla Walla Rose on the table as an arrival gift for me. I was extremely happy upon my arrival! Brad's listing description is entirely accurate of the house and property. The house has a very large deck with ample furniture that looks out over a streaming river and golf course in the background. The property is beautifully landscaped. The interior is stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The house sits at the end of the street and therefore completely private. The bed is comfortable, sheets and blanket are soft, and bathroom towels are thick and fluffy. This property is an easy drive to Walla Walla. I was delighted to see a mother deer and her two babies in the neighborhood.

  • This place is SOOOO cute! It’s right on a river, with a nice patio and a terraced river seating and viewing area. So relaxing! The photo is a bit misleading. This home is very small, the size of a park model home. The bed is up in a loft that you climb with a fairly large ladder. The mattress in the loft is on the floor. I found it very comfortable! I slept great! However, if you are very tall from the waist up, be careful when you sit up. If you have mobility issues, you can stay here only if you use the sofa bed in the main room. Kitchen is small, but very functional. There are no laundry machines in this home, or in Dayton itself. Nearest laundry is Walla Walla. Once you lock the door to go somewhere, it’s a little hard to open when you come back. Have to work with it a bit. The place was a little hard to find. My GPS said “you are here” at the beginning of the block. You can’t see it from the street. The street dead ends. You have to drive past the dead end into the trees. Oh, there it is…. As a solo, I appreciated that the home was hidden from the street. I spent two nights here. I found the place fairly clean, except for corners had some cobwebs. The Wi-Fi was somewhat cumbersome to log in, but once I did, it worked fast. The TV had some sort of “service” as I was able to watch some shows. Didn’t have to plug in my Amazon Firebox. I stayed here two nights. The first night I had to turn on the heater. The second night I needed the air conditioner. Also, the loft bed does not have any ventilation. There is a fan to use if you need in the loft. Really great place for a short term stay! Recommend only solos or one couple rent this place. Not large enough for a group.

  • We really enjoyed our stay. Place is super nice and was within easy walking distance of everything. Secluded location with nice landscaping.

  • The "One-Of-A-Kind Riverfront Get-Away" is truly an actuate description of this wonderful little cottage for several reasons. First, the home is beautifully constructed and decorated. Second, the cottage is located on a private piece of land with a fantastic view of the river. Very peaceful and wonderfully maintained, complete with an outdoor fire pit, lawn furniture and spacious deck. You quickly forget that you located in a neighborhood. Thirdly, it has all the basics you need for a hassle free get-away-vacation. And lastly, even though southeast Washington has a lot offer, this little cottage begs you to cancel all your sightseeing and just find a good book and hangout and truly just relax for the day! Brad was an excellent host and the price is very reasonable. We would definitely return!

    Kent2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Brad was flexible while we made our plans and with our check-in time. We were arriving late and he responded via text quickly when I had last minute questions. The house is fairly represented in the photos. It is in a quiet, residential neighborhood, not far from the grocery store and downtown area. The house was less clean than expected. There were cobwebs and bugs wandering the place, not overwhelmingly, but enough for us to notice, as if a window had been open. The internet was broken (!!), which was a HUGE disappointment. The furniture and appliances in the house were on point. The house comfortably slept two and I loved the outdoor space! Overall, the cottage was a lovely getaway!

This elegantly appointed cottage is located 5 blocks from Main Street, within easy walking distance of all Dayton has to offer. Just one block from the City Park and the river dike walking trail. Enjoy your morning coffee relaxing on the porch swing.
This house will accommodate up to 6 adults. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is a comfy sectional sofa in the upstairs living room that would be suitable for a child to sleep on. Extra linens are provided.
This house is one block from the city park, and river dike walking trail.
  • We arrived at the place at around 7PM. we had to call Gary and go to Vineyard Hotel to get the keys to the house. The house is located very close to Main Street which I believe is the downtown of Dayton. The town is cool and grocery store is close the downtown. Most of the shops were closed by 3 PM as it was Saturday. It's understandable. The house is awesome. My family and my friend's family liked it very much. We fell in love with the house and dream of planning to buy similar house during our life time. Overall, the house was joy for us and we enjoyed the hospitality of Gary and Shellie. The house is cozy, private and calm.Gary gave us cookies, fruits in basket when I went there to get keys. I personally liked their hospitality. I loved the place and would return soon. Thanks Gary and Shellie for the wonderful time we had. We will be really glad to return

    Indraneel2016-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Shellie is a great host, and this cottage is a lovely, classical house in a small, sweet town. Shellie was very flexible with our check-in and check-out, and gave us a lot of tips on what to do in the nearby areas.

    Pratyush2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Four of us stayed at Shellie's place, two couples. We couldn't help but laugh at other reviews that described Shellie's furniture as "old." The house and the furnishing are appropriate to their period. In other words, antiques. My friend from Baltimore swooned over the wood flowers, a few period pieces and a bed that reminded her of her childhood. Most of the period furniture is found throughout the house except for the TV room which has a sectional. Check-in was easy as can be and we were sent along our merry little way after picking up a key, downtown, with a basket full of breakfast items, artisan chocolates, juices, fruits and homemade muffins. Be sure to spend some time sipping on your coffee while seated on the porch and take a push or two in the porch swing It's important to note that there is only one shower and it is downstairs. If you like to take baths, there is a fully stocked (shampoo, conditioner, body wash dispenser and homemade soap) tub upstairs. Bring your own bath salts if you want to soak! :) There are A/C units upstairs but none downstairs. We slept upstairs.

  • Very nice place! We had a great weekend.

    Eric2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Shellie did a great job! They made us feel very welcome and even presented us with a basket of goodies that became our picnic basket on the 4th at the beach. They were attentive when we needed extra towels and tea. The entire stay, neighborhood and town was delightful!

    Sharleen2016-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Two families going skiing for a weekend and chose this cottage instead of two hotel rooms. The house is old and the furniture as well, but it was very quaint and had everything we needed. Shellie was very welcoming and took good care of us.

    Orjan2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was part of the Weinhard hotels in Dayton. The cottage had a victorian theme. Well maintained and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

    Charming 3 Bedroom House
    7 reviews
Enjoy this charming cottage featuring 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room and a breakfast area. The landscaped backyard is perfect for relaxing. The area is great to: ski, sight see, hike, hunt, fish, golf, and taste wine.
Beautiful old cottage remodeled to modern comfort (central heat and A/C). Our house and the cottage sit on top of a hill overlooking the Blue mountains with 5 acres to ensure peace and privacy.
Dayton is a small town but has several great restaurants and bars. Wine enthusiasts will find over 120 wineries within a one hour drive. Dayton's best asset is the weather... Plenty of sunshine allows for great outdoor activities. During the ski season, we are only 35 minutes away from the slopes at Bluewood. Fishing is great around here, there are small streams for trout or large rivers for salmon and steelhead. Trophy elks and deer, cougars and bears for the big game hunters. Bird hunters will find pheasants, chuckards, quails and plenty of wild turkeys.
  • Loic's house was just what we expected and wanted. Breathtaking views were all around of the beautiful fields and mountains. It was very quiet and private, and felt secluded, but was still around the corner from downtown Dayton and a quick 45 min drive to Walla Walla. The kitchen and house had everything we needed. It was only three of us, but we're already thinking of getting some friends and family to venture back out there with us as it was a quite spacious (yet cozy) three bedroom house. We had a wonderful time on our visit!

    James2015-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful stay at the quiet hilltop cottage. The views were amazing. Loic met us at the house to give keys and answer any questions. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. Only wish the cottage had a hairdryer as I had forgot mine...silly me :) and also larger mirror in the master bedroom. otherwise I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

    Erryn2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • We were greeted happily by Loic and were toured around their beautiful cottage and property. After being on the road for three weeks, it felt great to arrive to such a beautiful setting. The cottage had recently been renovated and was lovely with all of the amenities provided. They even supplied travel-sized beauty supplies in case we had forgotten something. Our family of six fit very comfortably and the location was perfect for our farm-to-table dinner that we attended. Loic and his wife were extremely warm to our family and the bottle of wine they brought over was a special treat. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    sarah2015-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • We made this reservation a bit last minute, but Loic made sure to have everything ready and met us at the house when we arrived. The place was absolutely wonderful. The views were spectacular. The place clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

    Mark2015-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful serene space with everything one would need. Loic is a gracious host. We would return without a second thought! =0)

    Laurey2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Super neat place! Feels like a ski cabin getaway, master bath is awesome!

    Pedro2016-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Loic is a great host, very friendly and responsive. The time and energy spent in renovating the cottage is apparent the minute you walk in. It is super charming with a mix of new and old. The views from the cottage are breathtaking. We were in Dayton for an event in Walla Walla and it was a quick drive. If in Dayton, visit the Weinhard Cafe, you will not be disappointed!

    Sydnie2015-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was an adorable cottage. Perfect for our quick stay as we were on our road trip to Montana.

Staying at Grape Hill can be a life-shift. Guests keep moving to Walla Walla! With miles upon miles of endless ever-changing views, utter seclusion, yet minutes to wineries and restaurants and hiking and golf, Grape Hill extraordinarily special. We heard all about "energy vortexes" in Sedona. Is Grape Hill one of these? Come and you be the judge.
We have ten years of 5 Star reviews on the other major site. Grape Hill is for people who GET IT. The setting is awe-inspiring. Five minutes from the grocery store yet you can have the whole planet to yourself. Mile upon mile of gentle hills and farm fields with birds and nature all around. Amazing sunsets. Lots of perfect spots that bring out the artist and photographer in you.
There is nothing else like Grape Hill in Walla Walla and not many like spots anywhere. Our nearest neighbor and good friend is 1/2 mile away. Views usually stretch 40 miles on a bad day and 100 miles on a clear day. It really does feel like you have the planet to yourself, yet wineries, restaurants, shops and bars are five to seven minutes away.
  • Great private escape! If your looking for that really private, quiet escape, this is the place. The outdoor shower is the icing on he cake.

Our welcoming, peaceful home is the perfect destination for your Walla Walla getaway. Town is 5 minutes away. It’s right at the NW edge of town, where the wheat fields begin to roll. You will find open views of green or golden hills depending on the season. We have a giant row of poplar trees that provide shade and a soothing sound as the breeze moves in the afternoons. Sample your latest wine finds and dig your toes into the grass.
Designed to host up to 4 couples, we have carefully selected the best the region has to offer to make your time away an enjoyable treat. The house has everything a group could need, with a kitchen set up for cooking with friends and lingering over dinner conversation. There is a large dining table, and a gas BBQ outside.
We're at the edge of town so there is plenty of space and privacy. There are houses in the distance, but Andare is open, yet private at the same time.

  • Stunning home with incredible views to look out at every morning - we appreciated how incredibly tranquil and private it was. It was about 15-20 minutes from downtown which was a quick drive to wineries, wonderful restaurants and our hot air balloon ride with Blue Mountain Balloons! • If you are visiting Walla Walla for a wine tour, this is a fantastic place to stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, the living areas are great and the fun of being on the airport is so unique. You will love it and Jen makes everything so easy!

  • This is such a fantastic ab&b. Exactly what ab&b is about. You are exposed to a passion in others life and have a great birds eye view what the life of flight is all about. We enjoyed the patio and all agree that it was so well furnished. Jen was an absolutely amazing owner and was very responsive with questions or requests. Thank you Jen for providing this little piece of Walla Walla heaven

  • If you love airplanes, there is probably no better place to stay than Jen's place. Love the vintage airplane décor. You can be a kid in a candy store with a bunch of single engines planes parked outside, and watch planes take off and land all day. Jen's place is clean and spacious, It is located walking distance from the airport and many cool wineries and breweries that you can walk to and/or bicycle to (which can help keep your impulse wine purchases in check). We loved this AirBnB and plan to stay here on our future visits to Walla Walla.

  • My three girlfriends and I stayed at this location for a. wine tasting weekend in Walla Walla, it was about a 10 minute drive to downtown but there are several tasting rooms and an espresso shop within walking distance (across the street!). You are right on the airport so it is a unique spot with cool views and the space was very comfortable! Bethany our host was very helpful and responsive. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking/eating and the bed super comfy. We had a small WiFi issue while here and Karie & fam took care of it immediately! Thank you for a great stay!

  • Great spot to stay at while visiting Walla Walla! Secluded with a nice outdoor setting yet only a few minute drive into the center of town. Right next to a great produce shop too!

    Brian2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Karie's place was better than we could have even imagined! Not only is the cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location, it was clean, dog friendly, and had the cutest patio and fire pit along the creek in back. Karie gave us a walk-through when we first arrived and made us feel like home in an instant. We used the BBQ the last night, the boys cooking all said it was practically new and such a treat to cook on. A/C in the bedrooms helped us beat the heat, and it was easy to come and go while spending the afternoons wine tasting! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay close to town!

  • This is the perfect get away. Close enough to everything, yet secluded with all the comforts of home!

    Bob2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We didn't get to stay very long since we arrived very late and we needed to leave really early for the total eclipse. We were treated to wonderful gifts of organic apples, a jar of home made mustards, and a handwritten card. That was such a sweet gesture. From what I can tell, it was night time when we arrived, there is a creek right next to the house. The outdoor patio was also right next to the creek. The home is very clean and well taken care of. You get the whole house to yourself along with the creek. There is a keurig machine with a nice selection of coffees and hot chocolate. Karie's place seem like a really nice place to stay, but we didn't have any time. Hopefully, when I visit Walla Walla again, I can stay longer at this AirBnB.

    Dawson2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It's in the back yard of the family home across a little creek that flows behind the community college buildings. The kitchen has everything you will need to make meals and there is a lovely gazebo and BBQ out back. The beds were heaven to fall into each night. We enjoyed the sitting room upstairs to play cards and watch TV. Bathrooms were well stocked with little items you may need which was lovely. We went to Walla Walla to do some wine tasting. This place isn't walkable to wineries but driving 10 minutes got us into town. It was hot during our stay and there is AC only in bedrooms and sitting room. The owners offered us the use of their pool at the end of our days of tasting. They were absolutely accommodating! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Karie!

  • Katie's place is quite place to relax . You can do BBQ at night, there is a fireplace outside too. We will rent her place for sure if we come back Walla Walla

Our home is used through the summer (April-Sept) as a vacation rental, it is our primary home during the off season. We have a couple bedrooms that we are willing to share in that off-season. If you are looking for a place to spend the night and maybe get a quick breakfast while in the area for a few nights, wine tasting or visiting friends and family, this is the place. The main bathroom is shared with other guests. Rent one, two or three bedrooms.
We have three separate rooms we will rent as individual bookings. We have the Paris room, The Guest room and the Twin room...each priced separately, or rent the whole house, listed as Sunset Glen.
  • Cindy was a fantastic host. She communicated well beforehand and was extremely kind throughout my visit - she made sure I had transportation into and out of town, made it easy for me to get into the house whenever I needed to, and left out treats for breakfast when I had an early flight out. The house was cute and clean, a perfect place to spend the night during my visit to Walla Walla.

Gorgeous three story log house hidden in the mountains of Dayton Washington. Newly renovated, we kept the rustic feel and mixed in a little touch of contemporary! Able to sleep 20+ people, this fully furnished house is great for family reunions, staff retreats, wedding parties, yoga retreats, quilting retreats, wine tasting trips, team bonding weekends, NFL/College sports weekends, skiing/snowmobiling weekends, you name it!
Our house is 10 miles outside of Dayton and sits on 100 acres of beautiful forest land where you may see elk, bear, deer, cougar, grouse, and turkeys. There is a hiking trail out back with an 1800 ft ascent that is under construction. It has a 1400 square foot deck in the front great for entertaining and 2 back patios, the first is just outside of the kitchen and has a large BBQ and seating area, the other is just outside the master French doors where there is an 8 person hot tub. Dayton is host to many historic sites such as the Smith Hollow School, the Dayton Historic Depot (State's oldest existing train depot) and the Columbia County Courthouse (State's oldest working courthouse). Dayton also has 83 homes listed in the states historical register, stop in at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce to get a walking map. There are also some great restaurants such as the Weinhard Cafe, the Manila Bay Cafe and the Patit Creek Restaurant located on Dayton Ave (reservations recommended for the this one). Enjoy a beer at Chief Springs Brew Pub and order up a great pizza from their restaurant next door. Woody's has fabulous hamburgers and great homemade potato chips! We are Located just 10 miles from the Bluewood ski resort and less than 2 miles from the wedding venue, The Barn at Blue Meadows.

  • Great place, easy to get downtown

  • This is an excellent location for wine tasting downtown Walla Walla. It's even walking distance if you don't mind 1.5 miles. The place is private and very clean. We were most comfortable.

Neighborhood is quiet & friendly and is just a few blocks from beautiful historical neighborhoods surrounding Whitman College.
  • Steven's house was very comfortable and had everything we could have needed. He made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend his house to others.

    Sean and Barbara2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Steven was responsive and responsible. He provided us information in a timely manner. And, when we had a problem with the kitchen sink, he came over immediately to fix it. The neighborhood was quiet, but near the Greens Tavern, which our kids enjoyed. The house was great! Plenty large enough for our extended family for our daughter's graduation from Whitman. Also, a great collection of books! Our son loved the "man cave" in the basement! Thank you, Steven.

    Dawn2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • The space was amazing. Stephen was very prompt with communication and his space was beautiful and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the space was very helpful to relax in the midst of a busy wedding weekend. Great price for a greater value.

    Hai2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • We beat the heat in the home theater basement, and were able to walk and bike to all the places we went to in town. We would definitely stay again, thanks for the great weekend in Walla Walla.

    Kate2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Stevens place was exactly as described - comfortable with a number of great perks (hot tub, entertainment center, fire pit). Our group really enjoyed our stay here, and communication with Steven was quick and easy. Highly recommended staying here.

    Ashvin2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great value! Loved all the books and the projector. In a great part of town close to food and drink, I'd stay here again if I came back to Walla Walla.

A beautifully appointed and fully renovated studio cottage conveniently located just blocks from the cafes, shops and museums of Main St in Dayton. Enjoy your stay in our historic town with all the comforts of home.
This studio cottage is the guest home of and shares a large double yard with our 1889 Victorian two-bedroom home (also an Airbnb rental). Other repeat renters have deemed it the "Cozy Cottage".
What don't I love? I lived in the house next door for 12 years. It's a quiet, residential street. If you wake up early in the morning, you may find deer in the yard. It's not unlikely to see a rafter of wild turkeys in the yard or roaming the avenue. You can walk to incredible restaurants such as the Weinhard Cafe or Manila Bay Cafe on Main Street or the Patit Creek Restaurant also on Dayton Ave (definitely make reservations for the last two). I also recommend having a beer at Chief Springs Brew Pub and ordering the world's best pizza from their restaurant next door.
  • The neighborhood was very quiet and was within walking distance to the main street. We were attending a graduation in Walla Walla for this trip, but I couldn't help but think what a great home base this little cottage would be for a wine tasting weekend! Everything was clean and easy to access. Thanks Brad.

    Eric & Sarah2015-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were actually moved into the beautiful Victorian home next to it because when we arrived it hadn't been cleaned. Brad was quick to respond with another property. Our review is based on the other property.

  • Such an adorable and cozy cottage. My family of 4 were very comfortable!

    Angelica2016-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • The exterior is charming and perfectly manicured. While the interior was clean, it could use a few updates as the shower and bathroom are rather tired and worn out.

    Karen2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is pleasantly situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and is cute. The kitchen was well designed and easy to use for cooking. There is a small wood stove and the cottage was clean and adequately furnished. We enjoyed our stay.

    Kim2015-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Brad was not on the premises but was easy to communicate with. The cottage was not spotlessly clean, but it was well set up and well-equipped and spacious for a studio. It was a quiet neighborhood in a cute small town with a few great restaurants. Beautiful scenery.

  • Rosemary is a great communicator! We were driving home from Boise to Seattle and decided on a whim to stay the night in Walla Walla to break up our journey. At around 2:00 pm, we requested Rosemary's place and she responded! Yay! Affordable, clean and friendly lodging secured! A few hours later we arrived in Walla Walla. Check in was easy, then she directed us to great nearby restaurants. Her house is charming and in a classic neighborhood literally right down the street from gorgeous Whitman College, amazing dining and wine tasting, The cute bedroom had a comfy double bed with an immediately adjacent bathroom that had an awesome shower. Rosemary's young kids are absolutely ADORABLE and she made sure they respected our privacy in the evening and morning. I can see why everyone raves about Rosemary's place! She is a wonderful, kind host and we loved staying with her.

    Andy2016-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Sam was wonderful on our arrival, showing us around the house, providing local maps and guides and wine tasting vouchers. The house was even cuter than described and there was a lovely bottle of wine and fresh flowers waiting for us. Clearly the home was decorated with care and the linens were lovely, with plush towels, fresh and crisp bedding and locally available bath products. The neighborhood is beautiful, full of huge trees and amazing homes and in walking distance from downtown and a nice park with an aviary and pond filled with turtles, fish, ducks and geese. We loved our stay and will return if we get back to beautiful Walla Walla.

    Amber2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Sam and Jay truly thought of everything when they set up their tiny house for visitors. This has been my favorite Airbnb stay to date--modern, adorable, beautiful and just the right size for a few days in Walla Walla! We joked several times about trying to hitch this place to our car when we left because it was simply perfect. We will be back and look forward to our next stay in this amazing sanctuary. Thank you both for everything!

  • We stayed at the "tiny house" for 4 nights, over Whitman College graduation weekend. Location was perfect for us, especially with construction going on on East Isaacs Avenue. The house is adorable, absolutely perfect for 2 people. Super location! Jay and Sam were available to us, but left us alone. It was an absolutely wonderful stay!

    Francois2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Such an adorable little home, Sam and Jay were very gracious hosts and gave us great tips for the area. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood where you can walk to downtown, would definitely stay again!

    Christina2017-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This space was as advertised and the pictures well represented the space. The cold water in the refrigerator and bottle of wine upon our arrival after a partial day of traveling were very welcome. We often do some cooking ourselves when we travel and I can't say enough about how grateful and appreciative I was of a sharp knife, new non-stick skillet and clean preparation dishes/cookware were in this house. I often find at least two of those three are missing in rentals. Here they were all in stellar condition and clean! Sam was super responsive to questions via text and we loved the outdoor table for our morning breakfast. The location was an easy drive to the downtown area and we would have considered walking to dinner had the temperature not been quite so high. Parking was off street and easy to access.

The outdoor spaces consist of an old fashioned covered front porch ( a great place to relax dawn to dusk) and out the back door you will find a covered deck along with a fenced backyard--perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or barbecuing on warm evenings. The front porch and front entrance are completely your own during your stay. The back deck, back yard, and back entrance are shared space with me, the owner. I live in an apartment in the basement and during your stay, I will only be coming through the back porch to access the basement apartment via a separate door, so that area is still yours to enjoy. The entire space is on one level with the bathroom conveniently located between the two bedrooms. The large dining room is great for entertaining and the large kitchen has lots of counter space and cupboards. You will find the kitchen to be fully equipped--including staples such as flour, sugar and coffee, as well as a complimentary bottle of local Walla Walla wine! The focal point in the living room is a beautiful brick fireplace with built in surrounding book shelves (sorry, fires are not allowed as the chimney needs some masonry work). We are always making upgrades and always on the hunt for the next great piece of vintage furniture or original piece of artwork. Rest assured, Re-Wined Bungalow will definitely be original, fun, funky and special!
Wonderful old neighborhood where new, hip young families are moving in and fixing up the lovely Arts & Craft bungalows on the street. The Re-Wined Bungalow is a serene 10 min walk to Whitman College and lovely parks and a 15 minute walk to downtown tasting rooms/restaurants. A local-favorite pub called The Green Lantern is a 5 minute walk.
  • This rental was perfect! Great location, great house!

  • This is a charming home in a residential neighborhood. Jordan has made this welcoming, beautiful, and he could not have been a better host. His hospitality background was very evident as he has thought of every little convenience - down to offering three different options for morning coffee! Walking distance to town and Whitman College campus. We had a great time revisiting Walla Walla after 50 years!

  • This place was amazing! We loved our stay at the bungalow and would definitely stay there again! Especially loved the small details like the bottle of wine left for us with the 'drink me' note hanging from it (which is made by the family and is not available for purchase!) and the beautiful soaps in the bathroom. The deck was so nice too with little lights strung up and an outdoor table. We had a pleasant time exploring the neighborhood which was peaceful and beautiful, and we walked to and from town several times. Our host was attentive to our needs, communicated superbly, and provided a wonderful stay overall. We loved the place and can't wait to go back! Thanks again!

  • The house was perfect for wine tasting in the heart of Walla Walla. The location was great. Very close to downtown, but in a sweet and quaint neighborhood. The furnishings were very beautiful, and the house was picture perfect. We were very well taken care of, and the house had everything we needed and more! Jordan was a great host, and I would definitely stay here again.

  • Great place. Superb hospitality. Very good facility with modern bathroom, quality bed sheets & towels and very well supplied kitchen. Location was close enough to the downtown area but far enough so we could enjoy nice walks in a leafy neighbourhood.

  • The most lovely home! We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy access to downtown Walla Walla, Whitman and Highway 12. Charming touches and very clean. I would definitely recommend this house!

  • We have stayed in almost a dozen vacation rentals in Walla Walla and surrounding areas over the years. Our stay with Jordan was our best experience yet. Very homey, clean and comfortable.

    Heidi2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a comfortable, homey, and classy place! Our hosts were amazing and Jordan has great recommendations for wine tasting, dining, and more! The quiet and charming neighborhood has access to everything and walkable to some businesses as well as a longer (10-15 min) walk to Whitman campus and downtown. It was a great place to stay with our infant and would also be great for two couples. The home is super clean and impeccably decorated and has everything you need to relax or even do breakfast or a fancy dinner in! We recommend highly and would definitely stay here again!

  • We were in town for freshman orientation at Whitman. Robin's apartment is wonderful for it's separate entrance, excellent bed and spacious living space, cleanliness, and amenities like fridge and coffee maker. She even had a bowl of fruit out for us. Robin was very responsive, thoughtful and helpful when we needed to communicate. While we were aware we were in the basement of her home (little running feet overhead greeted us around 7 am), we also sensed that the little ones knew to try to keep it quiet. But for a set of parents saying goodbye to their college freshman, we didn't mind the reminder of those earlier days. It's a nice neighborhood, close to the college and some parks. We were very happy with our stay.

    Elizabeth2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our host Robin was out of town the night we stayed but we did get to meet her mother, who was so sweet. The unit was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and its on a very quiet residental street. It's close enough to downtown to walk, which we did and admired many of the beautiful homes in the area. There are tons of interesting knick knacks in the unit as well as dozens of travel books and many other great books to read. Would definitely stay here again.

    todd2016-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Both Robin and Guy were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was just as pictured. It was very clean and very convenient, with lots of space to relax. The bed is quite comfortable. Robin left fresh fruit and also there is a nice coffee maker with cream and sugar available. It is in a very nice neighborhood within a pleasant walking distance from downtown Walla Walla. Parking was also very convenient. When we had a question about the wifi Robin quickly got back to us with an answer.

    Sharon2016-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant and comfortable space in a quiet neighborhood. Everything you need provided, including the best collection of books i've seen anywhere!

    Beth2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Robin and her family were excellent hosts. From booking to questions, her responses were prompt. We are a family of three (2 adults and 1 toddler). Robin inquired about what would make our son most comfortable and had a bed for him made and all ready to go in our room upon our later arrival! There was certainly plenty of room to him sleep in the next room, but the same room was preferred for us. Plenty of space to still navigate around. The space is as described. Clean, comfortable and still a bit of a work in progress to be complete. The bathroom is cozy. A small shower that I think is feasible for anyone 6'3" and under. Overall, the ceilings did not feel low or the space tight anywhere else. Kids toys were available to us which is always great. We heard a few footsteps in the morning but nothing crazy. It is a basement apartment, so expected. Location was convenient. A few blocks away from two big parks and easy access to downtown and the college. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

    Melissa2016-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Super roomy, large space. Quiet neighborhood and location, everything was clean, tidy and provided. Robin and Guy were super friendly and attentive to emails and phone calls. Would recommend to anyone looking for a clean quiet spacious place in walla walla to stay.

    Mike2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great, Robin communicated everything we needed to know in an extensive e-mail and was available in person and by phone. She also had great recommendations for local wineries. The location is great too - very close to downtown.

We loved the quiet neighborhood, beautiful houses and convenience to the college and downtown, and appreciated all the amenities in the cottage -- snacks, drinks, hair dryer, iron and that fantastic shower. We also appreciated the great communication in setting up our stay and the warm welcome you gave us when we arrived so late. Unqualifiedly positive recommendation. • Scott got in touch with us right away as soon as we made an inquiry. What a great little detached space complete with beautiful walk in shower and a kitchenette. Close to Whitman College and a great deal. And of course he and his wife gave us the inside tips on the best places to eat in town. Don't think twice, this is a perfect spot for anyone traveling to Walla Walla

    Andrew2016-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Scott and Marqui were incredibly hospitable, kind, and easy to communicate with. The place itself is lovely - it's a one-room guest house which is beautiful and offers lots of privacy and comfort. The neighborhood is quiet and cute, right next to Whitman and a short walk to downtown. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!

  • We had a wonderful stay at Scott and Marqui's beautifully decorated and well-appointed cottage. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet yet still close to downtown. While not large, it had everything we needed including a pleasant yard for lounging and off-street parking. We hope to return!

  • Truly exquisite home, warm hospitality, lovely neighborhood and close to everything. And that pool. Oh, that pool. everything was perfect and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We are immensely grateful for Kelley's kindness and talents.

  • Maison 1205 is one of the most unique, comfortable and beautiful old homes I have ever seen! It was so clean and Kelley was so helpful and easy to reach. The house was stocked with items upon arrival. This house is a work of art and a curated masterpiece. Absolutely gorgeous and so fun to stay in. The beds are wonderful and the kitchen is so much fun to cook in! We cooked almost every meal here. The garden/yard and pool are incredible. Absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We spent all day lounging around the pool and taking the property in. I cannot recommend this place enough. We rode our bikes through the neighborhood everyday and took in all that Walla Walla has. I was so sad to leave!

Enjoy the Carriage House at Green Gables Inn! The Carriage House is less than 1-mile from downtown wine tasting and restaurants, a 4-min walk to Whitman College, and 3 mile drive from the Walla Walla airport. You’ll love the Carriage House because of the historic tree lined neighborhood, the comfy beds and linens, and proximity to downtown.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

  • The Carriage House is a lovely hidden private space just behind the gorgeous inn. I thought the space was huge, the amenities fantastic (especially breakfast!) and the staff were just so sweet. A special plus - we were greeted by the six-tied kitty host, Barnaby on the first night and later had daily encounters on the front porch. Loved our stay!

Our recently updated craftsman home is a quick 4 minute drive to downtown where you'll find plenty of restaurants, shopping & nightlife. Whitman College is a 5 minute walk & the airport is only 8 minutes away. You’ll love my place because of the location, the coziness, and the 1920's Craftsman charm!. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
Recently updated, this home has a relatively open floor plan despite the age of the home. We hope that you'll find our updates to be tasteful, as we did try to keep some elements of the 1920s. We continue to make improvements to the home both inside & out so we & our guests can continue to enjoy the home for years to come!
Our home is located in a neighborhood full of cute older homes on the east end of Whitman college. We love the location because everything you need, whether it's the grocery store, restaurants, access to downtown, airport or main highway, is all within a couple minute drive.
  • Miranda was such a wonderful host. She was highly communicative and made us feel at ease during our first stay in Washington and, specifically, Walla Walla. The house was clearly well cared for and everything felt new since they just renovated it. We felt at home and comfortable in the space. We would definitely reserve again!
