Marcus and his wife are excellent host. There property is located very close to the beach. Marcus was very responsive and responded to all my queries before I made the booking. To our surprise he was at the bus station to receive us, as he realized that we were new to the USA. Both his wife and him made our stay very comfortable. Beach is barely 5 minutes walk from the property and so is the nature trail. I highly recommend this property for quite beach holidays.

I had the privilege of staying at Karen's place for 4 nights, with my daughter. We loved the place, it was clean and quiet, beautifully decorated, with a private bath and many extra amenities we were not expecting! There was a lovely coffee maker with a selection of coffees, a good sized fridge which was very convenient, and the bed was very comfortable. Karen and Mike are super nice and helpful, as well as not intrusive, and I felt like we had privacy and courtesy. I would highly recommend them and will return there!

It kind of felt like I was one of the first people to stay there, but it wasn't bad. Room was clean, nice neighborhood, only weird thing was the bed didn't have any sheets on it under the comforter that is shown in the pictures. By the time we returned after the concert and noticed it was too late to contact the host about it, I didn't want to be rude and wake them up at that hour.

Tara was extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay in Virginia Beach. She allowed us free reign over her home and was kind enough to direct us to nearby attractions. We had a great time with her adorable cats and enjoyed the overall relaxed, inviting setting of her townhouse. The room was exactly wha we were looking for with our own towels, fridge, mirror and fan to keep cool at night. Tara was friendly and sweet, we will definitely be back soon!!!

The house sits on a gorgeous creek and is in walking distance to the beach! Star and Austin also provided us with bikes to use at our leisure. Alice was incredibly welcoming and her house is beautiful! The space was perfect for our little weekday escape to the beach. I was skeptical about using Airbnb for this trip (having been scammed before) but everything from the water and chocolates in the room, to the immaculate bathroom was just wonderful. I was in town for a 5 day conference and certification program, so my needs were simple as I was out each day for class and each evening for dinners at a local restaurant, so we could meet with the instructor and share information. I had a very comfortable room, a private bathroom and access to their lovely enclosed front porch. Alice made sure I had what I needed and she and her husband added a small table and lamp in my room for reading/studying. It was unusually warm during my stay (beautiful weather, but could get hot indoors by the end of the day) and one night, my room was a bit uncomfortable for me to sleep and I asked if she could put on the A/C, which she responded to immediately. I greatly appreciated her responsiveness. All in all, Alice's place was comfortable and she made sure I had what I needed during my stay, which I appreciated.

If you are looking for peace and quiet and comfort, this is the place. Extremely quaint and clean, and Nancy has many cooking items in the cupboards and breakfast items in the refrigerator. The trundle bed was a nice surprise, as I thought my mother and I would be sharing a bed. Outside the cottage is a very nicely kept garden area that we enjoyed in the evenings. There was also a charcoal grill if we wanted to use it. It is a very short 2 block walk to the beach, which is out of the major throng of things. We brought a wagon to bring things to the beach for our own convenience. It is also close driving distance to the main part of the beach with its restaurants and attractions. I would definitely stay here again!

It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and located near homes (minus 1 large hotel), rather than the massive hotels found further south. Chris2017-05-17T00:00:00ZThis was my first time making reservations using airbnb. I'm very glad it was with Ron. I had to make changes to my original reservation and Ron was very flexible with my change. The pool house is very nice with an open social area that has a bar, sink, fridge, ice maker, dishwasher, etc. The decor was really festive and my daughter loved the colored lights :) There is a t.v. in the bar and one in the area with the sofa, and they are connected and can play the same station. There's also a fire place! I stayed in the suite that was to the right of the kitchen. The main door off of the kitchen/living area opens up to the vanity, two more doors branch off to the bathroom and bedroom. The vanity is large with great lighting (has really neat ground hogs day memorabilia!) and a there is privacy door that leads to the bathroom with very large shower. I didn't try the double steam shower on the opposite side, but I loved the one in the room I stayed! My daughter would follow me to my shower and she had plenty of room to roam around. It also has an endless water heater! And the towels were on a heated rack :-D The bedroom has it's own separate door. I loved the bedding so much I had to ask where he found it at lol. The queen bed was very comfortable as well as the pillows. I brought my own pillow from home but didn't need it lol. I was so glad there was a tv and dvd player because my daughter (22 months old) didn't want to sleep or nap for 2 days straight so it came in handy so she could watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse. The bedroom has a private sliding door entrance and screen door if you want some fresh air and I believe the opposite suite does as well. I was worried about disturbing the other guests due to the noise my daughter was making when she wouldnt sleep one night, but once the doors are closed, everything was pretty sound proof, I was surprised/relieved when I was in the kitchen getting her a snack and I knew she was yelling in the bedroom lol. I felt very comfortable while I was there, almost like I was at home. Ron was very helpful with any requests I had and made some great suggestions on things that my daughter and I could do. When I return to Virginia Beach, I hope I am able to book here again and look forward to the pool and hot tub. Thank you!

It was such a pleasure staying in this condo! Karen made it so comfortable and the location is perfect. A short drive to the beach, restaurants and a mall. The condo has TVs and a nice kitchen for making meals. Plus Karen was just a joy to speak with. I will certainly be coming up several times and using this condo!
