“Garden of the Gods is beautiful and may be unlike anything you’ve seen before. After walking around the beautiful landscapes at the main entrance of the park, drive to Balanced Rock for a short visit and then hike a short distance to visit the Siamese Twins rock formations. You’ll discover stunning, mountainous views along the whole way.”

“Millennials love to stand in lines. Go mid-morning on weekdays to avoid long lines. But, the food is well worth it! Riches beyond your wildest dreams: butter-golden pains au chocolat, cappuccinos with ferns drawn in dense foam and croque monsieurs turbo-loaded with ham, two kinds of cheese and béchamel. Don't be dismayed by the inevitable line out the door – it moves fast – but be aware that lolling in Dolores Park is the only possible post-Tartine activity.”

French Restaurant

“My weekend brunch spot (and probably everyone else’s in DC)! Great place to enjoy traditional French dishes in an almost perfect replica of a Parisian cafe! My personal favorites are the burger (if you haven’t experienced a French burger this is a must), chicken sandwich and fluffy pancakes. Pro Tip: Order a single pancake and the dish of your choice. It’s less expensive and you can try other items!”
