“Turtle Rock in Irvine is one of our favorite mini hikes. There is a park in Irvine called Chaparral Park located next to Bonita Canyon Elementary School. If you park in the Elementary School parking lot and hike to the top of the hill named "Turtle Rock Viewpoint" you will get some amazing views of multiple cities in Orange County. Great spot for sunset. Usually not too many people there. about 75% paved by sidewalk, but once the sidewalk ends you can continue up the hill and that is where the best views are. ”
