  • Great place. Interior was impeccable, it was indeed a home away from home, the book collection seemed like my own. Erik and Pamela have great taste. They have everything you need- the cottage lacked nothing aside from my permanent presence ;)

    Jane2016-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • The space was so clean and cute! It was very comfortable, hip, and private. The garden is beautiful. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Erik & Pamela definitely put a lot of care into creating a comfortable and happy space for their guests.

  • We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was very clean and just as shown in the photos. The host went above and beyond in equipping the cottage with everything we could possibly need during our stay. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The cottage is located in a quiet residential area but very close to all the action that Capitol Hill has to offer. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

    Elena2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is fantastic. Erik and Pamela certainly kept details in mind when designing this cozy bungalow. The cottage gets plenty of natural light, has a wonderful working fireplace, great bathroom / shower / kitchen. The keypad on the door is convenient too! No fumbling for keys. Courtyard is beautiful, and the parking spot is easy to get to. No complaints here. Would definitely love to stay again!

    Wade2015-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Erik and Pamela's cottage in Capitol Hill. It's a cozy oasis in a great neighborhood to explore Seattle from. Highly recommend. The place was designed well and had a good set of amenities. We were able to walk all around the neighborhood to bars, restaurants, and parks. Highly recommend on any visit to Seattle. We had a late flight and they were able to accommodate a slightly later checkout.

    Ryan2016-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I absolutely adored Erik and Pamela's cottage!! It was cute and quaint and had everything we needed from towels, toiletries, to all the movies you would ever want to watch! It was in a great location close to lots of restaurants and shops (if you're a fan of tacos, check out Taco Chuki). I'd say the best part was also that there was a designated parking spot and it was free! Erik and Pamela were extremely responsive and communicative and while we didn't meet them, were very attentive to all my messages. I'd highly recommend their cottage and would love to stay there again when I'm back in Seattle!

    Joyce2014-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Erik + Pamela's place was everything I'd hoped it would be. Clean, comfortable, walkable, accommodating w/ check in. It was all a breeze. 100% would recommend to anyone looking to visit Seattle!

    Meghan2017-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay and absolutely couldn't have asked for anything more. Overall the feeling is like having a home away from home! 1.Convenient location – we’re talking walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops … 2.Quiet, comfortable, and good parking (not insignificant!) 3.And how nice was it, on a cool rainy night, to find a corkscrew in the fully equipped kitchen to enjoy a bottle of wine, while watching a movie from the DVD library, in front of a nice warm fire in the fireplace!!! Any return trip to the area will include a return to the Eric & Pamela’s cottage – thanx!

    Susanna2016-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place and Regina is very sweet and kind! We enjoyed our stay!

  • Regina is an amazing host and super accommodating. Would totally stay here again when we return! Great cottage.

    mark2016-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Regina's cottage was great! The cottage was exactly as described and was centrally located. We were able to walk to nearby bars and shops to explore the neighborhood and if we left, an uber ride was only a 10-15 minute drive. Regina was extremely responsive via text and airbnb message and provided us with everything we needed. Her cat Bright Heart was also a great host!

    Joy2016-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Regina is a warm and welcoming host. The cottage is excellent, exactly matching the description and located in a very nice neighborhood with several places to eat, get groceries, and relax nearby. It's an easy and enjoyable walk to UW and the coffee shop located a block away has good coffee and delicious (apple and pecan) scones. Though I was in Seattle for work, Regina made sure I had a list of fun things to do; the kind of list that only a knowledgable local can provide.

    Brent2016-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! It was perfect waking up and listening to the rain in the mornings. The bed was extremely comfortable. Such an interesting space, but feels like home. Regina has outstanding communication skills and I would highly recommend to stay here as a getaway for a couple. Walking distance to almost everything! All of my Uber's to downtown have been $5-7, if that helps!

This loft guest house is a unique, tranquil space built by the owner himself. Situated on a large property in Beacon Hill, the space has tall ceilings, lot's of natural light and it's own private garden and hot tub.
Beacon Hill is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Seattle, and just minutes from downtown, and right next to the vibrant neighborhoods of Georgetown and Columbia City.
  • You can tell the love and attention Malcom gives to the loft. It is tucked away from the street and it feels like a cozy little getaway. It was the perfect place to wind down after a long day exploring the city. We had an issue with our passports and needed them overnighted and Malcolm was incredibly accommodating. We loved our time here and I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

    Rachel2016-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Malcom's home was beautiful and unique. It was very well decorated and felt like a home away from home. Malcom was responsive and very nice. We would recommend this place to our friends and family during their stay in Seattle or just a weekend getaway.

    Thao2015-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Malcolm was super helpful, even coming out to help me find the place when my GPS couldn't quite locate it (it was right down the street). The place was beautiful and he made it super easy to get in! The place is beautiful, it was a perfect place for the weekend.

    Molly2015-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was a great experience for my wife and I. The owner was great to work with and we would recommend this place to anyone. It was our first Airbnb experience and lived up to all of our expectations.

    Tyler2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • My husband & I ventured to Seattle for our honeymoon and we stayed at the loft for a whole week, and it was amazing. Such a calming and relaxing atmosphere and the photography that decorated the loft was such an artful touch. Just a 10 minute drive from down town Seattle, and the smaller towns Malcolm recommended were our favorite. (Especially Columbia City!!!) we would love to return someday in the far future!

    bekah2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely perfect! It is tasteful, and the setting is an absolute dream. I wish we could have spent more time there, to be honest, but our busy trip and early flight prevented that. However, I certainly would book The Loft again for a second stay. I ate a tomato out of the garden, and it may have been one of the best parts of the trip:) Thanks a million to Malcolm, and I'd recommend this place to anyone!

    Abbey2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful home Malcolm has. My first thought was, gee I should quit my job and just move in here!

    Christopher2016-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was perfect & very comfortable. The gardens were beautiful & very relaxing. Just what we needed after a long day of sightseeing. Thank you Malcom...wonderful host!

  • Sid was a great host. This was a very decorated studio with everything. The building had a lot all amenities including a gym, table tennis, pool table and some video games.

    Prachi2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Location, location, location! Dozens of boutique restaurants and bars only steps away. Also within walking distance to the piers if you need to catch a ferry. Check in was very easy and the staff on site even let us stow our bags for the day after we checked out. Very clean and bright with a nice sized bathroom. No air conditioning though this is probably not an issue most of the year. Who needs it when you're likely to be out in the city steps from the door.

    Megan2014-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding! Could not have beaten the location..we walked everywhere - pioneer square, Seattle ferry station, space needle, pike place etc..no requirement for public transport at all. Walk score should be 100! Apartment itself was clean and perfect size for two people. Surprisingly quiet from outside noise of main drag which was good for sleeping. Would definitely stay there again next time. Thanks!

  • I had a great stay at Sid's apartment! Check and communication was seamless. The apartment was very clean and exactly as pictured.

    Courtney2015-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb expiriance and I have to say it was great. Sid left very detailed instructions and was always available for any questions. The place is really nice. Easy walking distance to anyplace downtown and near many great happy hour spots. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Brady and Marilena2015-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Convenient location where is in the middle of Bell town. Responsive host and very clear instructions. I would stay if I will have another opportunity.

    Hayato2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great centrally located apartment in a vibrant part of Seattle. Excellent location, only a short walk to an abundance of good quality restaurants, bars and attractions. The apartment was neat and tidy with good quality internet. Sid was helpful and responsive. Downside: For people traveling by car ensure Sid secures the parking on site for you or you locate a cheap parking lot yourself. Parking was approximately $50 per day.

    Leah2014-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a clean and contemporary studio in a fabulous location. Neha was a helpful host and encouraged us to take advantage of the decktop patio in the building (which was lovely). She also let us know that garage parking was available for a reasonable charge.

We designed and built this modern/rustic tiny house and are excited to share it with you! (Chad is an architect and Lindsay is a graphic designer; together we obsessed over every detail of the house.) The house is located in the heart of West Seattle in a quiet neighborhood minutes away from the Alaska Junction (restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, boutiques, Sunday farmers market), Lincoln Park, Alki Beach and more. Downtown Seattle is a quick drive/bus/water taxi away.
The tiny house is an excellent fall/winter get away. Listen to the rain fall on the metal roof as you read a book in the comfortable loft bed with thick down comforter. The cozy cabin feel is great for lounging on the sofa next to the electric fireplace and putting on a movie (Netflix, Hulu, etc. and we have a variety of DVDs in the house). We also have surround sound! Three people is the max that could fit in the tiny house. Two in the loft and one on the sofa. Due to the loft/ladder, we do not recommend infants. Young children can sleep on the sofa. Tipsy is located perched on a higher level of our backyard in West Seattle. We have done our best to create a private space for you--new reclaimed wood planters (coming soon: limes, lemons, cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, etc.) divide our home and yours. There are two lounge chairs to enjoy a glass of wine (weather permitting!). The tiny house is plumbed like a normal house and has a fully enclosed shower and flushing toilet. Sign the guest book! We would love to hear from you!
The West Seattle neighborhood is a favorite of Seattlites--known for its friendly people, stellar views, excellent restaurants and bars, and most famously, Alki Beach.
  • I was SO pleased with my stay at Tipsy! The tiny house was exactly as listed. It was clean, it had everything we could've needed. It felt like a home away from home. Our hosts were out of the country at the time of our visit but they made it very clear from the start that they were available via phone to help with any questions we had. I'd give this place a 10/5 if I could. There is no doubt in my mind that if I go back to Seattle again I will definitely be staying here! The place is incredible and location was great. Not too far from downtown and easily accessible to Uber and Lyft drivers, along with other sorts of public transportation. I've never felt so safe in an Airbnb home. Hands down, my favorite stay using Airbnb.

    Myranda2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very special experience at the uniquely designed wood house. It's close to the beach and located a peaceful neighbourhood, enjoyed the stay a lot!

    Tingyuan2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Super cozy, extremely efficient design. Awesome amenities, amazingly comfy bed and sheets. Felt much bigger than it actually is. Top it off with the great location. Tipsy is walking distance to a great part of West Seattle with lots of cool shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Definitely would come back! Not to mention the great communication from Chad and Lindsay.

    Travis2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cute Tiny house in West Seattle. We used Uber and Lyft to get around as this is a fairly residential area. The owners did a good job of communicating through the airbnb messaging. We did not have to meet with them, as the smart lock on the door let us in and out with an app or using a keypad PIN. If your looking to stay in a tiny house, this is a really nice one. The loft bed is very comfortable, however the ceiling is pretty close for the person not under the skylight. If you want to sleep in late, bring an eye mask - no shade on the skylight. If you search tipsy the tiny house on YouTube you'll see lots of videos of it and can judge if it's right for you.

    Rob2017-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is just lovely! It's easy to take public transit to downtown Seattle and saves you the hassle of parking. The location is also close to some beautiful views nearby. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

    Saunders2016-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing tiny house! It is close to everything, and if you are planning to spend a weekend in Seattle, this is a great place to crash in. Tiny but very neat and clean, we were glad that we stayed here and we enjoyed every features of this house. Definitely will come back for thise house if we have another chance to visit Seattle again.

    Nhi2017-01-14T00:00:00Z

  • Lauren was great, friendly and communicative! Myself and my friends had a great time at the apartment; it's cozy and was in the perfect location for us. I'd recommend it!

    Dylan2012-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying in Lauren's apartment. The bed left a little bit to be desired in regard to size and comfort, but our overall experience was wonderful and we would recommend her place (and would stay again ourselves). Lauren is very friendly and helpful!

    Adam2014-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a great location. Close to all major sites. Lauren was a great host and communication was excellent. Great stay overall.

    Karin2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome experience at Lauren's apartment. It's why I use AirBnB, I get the feeling like I'm still in my own place rather than some hotel with no character. Perfect location. Thanks again !

    Mark2015-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren is a great host! We had a wonderful time in Seattle. The place was as described, great location, easy walking distance to everything. No issues with anything at all and place was clean, inviting and comfortable. Would recommend and stay again. Thanks again Lauren!

  • Lauren waited patiently for our arrival, even though we were half an hour late. She gave detailed instruction about her place, and even invited us to a soccer game. The apartment is in a historic building, which lends it tremendous charm. It's located a block away from the Seattle Public Library and within walking distance to the Pike Market.

    Leslie2014-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The host was friendly and accessible. She worked with us on check-in and check-out, and she made us feel right at home. We didn't spend much time in the place, but we were very satisfied. It was clean and beautiful, with lost of charm! We'd recommend this host to anyone!

  • This space was perfect for our stay in Seattle. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable and we loved the way it was set up. Was a great base for exploring Fremont and Ballard. We had our own car and never had problems finding parking in front of the house. Manuela was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. We would definitely stay here again!

    Holly2014-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED Manuela's Fremont Urban Oasis. The place was so clean and comfortable. Also beautifully decorated. I loved the round knitted rugs. Manuela left a local beer and local coffee for us to enjoy upon arrival and for our stay. Very thoughtful host. The location was perfect. We walked into the super cute Fremont neighborhood, for good food, drinks and music. The surrounding neighborhood felt very safe and nice. I would totally rent this apartment full time if I could. Thanks Manuela for a great stay in Seattle!

  • Such a nice place to stay and Manuela was very helpful and friendly!

    Jennifer2015-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Just returned home after 5 days in Seattle and surrounding areas. The Fremont Oasis was just that - peaceful, welcoming, comfortable, everything was as listed, and met all of my needs for the two night stay. It's located in Fremont - very cute neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and cafes (Uneeda Burger and Lighthouse Roasters were my visits), and it's close to activities and parks. Easy to find, would definitely visit again.

    Stephanie2014-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela's place is exactly as described. The studio is charming and perfect for two people. We definitely were not disappointed. Location allowed easy access to the bus (like a minute walk away) and the trail lead us through a more scenic route towards fremont. We were gone most of the day exploring and it was a relief to be back at the studio for a relaxing shower and comfortable bed to sleep in. Manuela was also a wonderful host. She respected our privacy but would respond to our questions via text right away when we had any. She helped us with directions and provided excellent recommendations on places to visit and how to get there. When we plan to visit Seattle again, we will definitely look into staying here once more.

This is a 1957 El Rey, cousin of the Airstream. It has been completely refurbished with new everything. It's like a fort for grownups. Let your inner child finally have the vacation of his or her dreams... in my backyard!
Now's your chance to get away from it all, right here in the heart of the city. This is a 27' 1957 El Rey. It has been completely renovated with modern amenities, a private bathroom, shower and kitchen. No TV (hallelujah!) but we do have wireless internet, hot water, a refrigerator and plenty of space for storage and comfort.
It should be known that due to an ongoing territorial dispute, we locals refer to this area between Fremont and Ballard as Frelard (though technically, according to the City of Seattle, this neighborhood does belong to Ballard but don't tell that to Fremont, the Center of the Known Universe). Needless to say, the El Rey is conveniently located within walking distance of many great restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment centers, with private off-street parking and many busses running nearby. In fact, believe it or not, driving, biking or bussing to downtown Seattle is only 20 minutes away... depending on traffic, weather and drawbridges.
  • Shawn has a great place and is a great guy. There's plenty of good food and fun to be had in the area and Shawn has a whole book of suggestions. The place is small but well kept and really unique.

    Jacob2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Shawn was great. He responded to my questions immediately and was super friendly. The location was adorable and unique. I took his advice and walked to s local diner which was exactly what I was looking for. I loved all the attention to detail with his binder of local information down to info on the shower for hot and cold. I will definitely be back and would reccomend this location.

    Melinda2016-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • While I never got to meet Shawn in person, he is a lifesaver! A friend and I screwed up another booking and were left stranded in Seattle - Shawn had an opening and even though he was out of town, communicated with us excellently and went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. We loved the airstream and how cool of an experience it was, and everything was just a 20 min walk or 5 min drive away. Our only complaint was a not-great wifi connection, but we had so much fun out and about in Seattle that it barely mattered! It does fit two easily though small, but it's such a fun place to stay! Would very much recommend.

    Emma2016-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cute little place , needs a bigger heater in the winter. Otherwise perfect location, easy to sleep.

    Carrie2016-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Shawn was a great host, and we loved the airstream. Compact, but plenty of storage space, etc. Shower was on the fritz, but he let us use the one in his house so no worries. Great location, quiet, but close to action in Ballard/Fremont. Definitely recommend.

    Eric2015-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the El Rey is what makes Airbnb great. A unique experience in a fun city with a host that provides tons of recommendations and suggestions for a fun stay. Shawn was a great host, quick to communicate and ease with giving us access to the El Rey. The neighborhood is great -- quiet, close to a lot of fun restaurants, brewpubs and bus stops. I couldn't recommend The El Rey more.

    Caleb2015-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Unique and well appointed Airbnb in a convenient location - walkable to interesting spots and buses. It will put where the locals hang and the trailer is just freakin cool. Shawn has a good thing going, thanks!

    Danielle2015-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's place was perfect. Clean, prepared, really nice and in an excellent location. She was a great host and was really gracious despite my late arrival. I hope to stay here again sometime.

  • Location was AMAZING. We were central and the rooftop view of Seattle was breath taking. Shellie could not meet us but she set something up and our accommodation was fantastic. The place was clean, clean towels, a great tour of the apartment as well as lots of foodie suggestions and tours set out on the coffee table. Shellie communicated very well. Our stay was great! I'd definitely book again.

    Suzie2015-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Our host was more than accommodating! We surely appreciated the quick communication during this whole process. This was our first time using Airbnb and we are 100% sold on the idea thanks to the wondering experience we had here. The apartment itself is beautiful and very secure. Couldn't have asked for more.

    Jordan2015-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is my first time using airbnb. I had a really good time staying in Shellie's apartment. The location is in downtown, which is close to everywhere. The apartment is cozy, comfy, and clean. Shellie has good taste in choosing furnitures. The process of checkin and checkout are easy, just follow Shellie's instruction. Overall, I had a excellent experience in Shellie's apartment. If I would visit Seattle again, Shellie's apartment is my top choice!

    Sharon2017-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Communication with Shellie was extremely easy. Everything was a breeze. We were very impressed by the space. It was a very comfortable spot for our shot weekend getaway to Seattle!

We at Emerald Stays welcome you to our modern and stylish vacation rental condo, in a brand new building located in the hip Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The absolute best thing about this apartment is the location, located in Belltown, the residential neighborhood of Downtown. You will be steps away from the famous Pike Place Market, Puget Sound Waterfront, Seattle Aquarium & everything Downtown. The Space Needle & the rest of the Seattle Center are also within walking distance. You will also find some of Seattle's best restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars & lounges, just outside the building. With a Walkscore of 98 and transit score of 100, the building is a "Walker's Paradise". So you can skip renting a car. The Convention Center is just 15 mins walk away. You can also catch buses to all of Seattle from across the block and Zipcars are 3 blocks away. This condo’s location makes it ideal for both business and holiday travelers. Since the building just opened up in June 2013, everything is new, modern and stylish. As soon as you enter the building’s spacious, beautiful lobby, you will notice the well-equipped 24-hour gym to your left. At the first chance you get, take the elevator up to the rooftop deck and you will be treated to awesome views of downtown and the waterfront. The rooftop deck also has a comfortable lounging area and is fitted with BBQ grills. The apartment itself is a modern open one-bedroom with hardwood floors and excellent furnishings. The huge windows provide ample light and a spacious feel to the condo. We have furnished this place such that you will feel absolutely at home. Between the plush queen bed and futon (which unfolds to a full size bed), this apartment will comfortably accommodate 3 guests. Apart from the towels and linens already laid out, there are many more to spare in the closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances & is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, serve and enjoy a wonderful meal (How about taking the food upstairs and making a picnic out of it). We think Internet is a basic utility and provide dedicated high-speed Wifi. There is a 43-inch HDTV with complimentary Netflix. Please note, we do not provide Cable on the TV. The Roku box does provide you access to news and on-demand programming. There is also TV with cable in the common lounging space. Come live like Locals in one of the most premium buildings of Seattle! It is a No Smoking Building, so we will expect you to respect that. Parking : Parking in the building can be arranged ( based on availability) at $20 per day. Although if you are staying in the center of the city you don't need a car at all.
  • Awesome, clean apartment in a great downtown location. I would definitely stay here again.

    John2013-11-08T00:00:00Z

  • Neha was super accommodating for us. The unit was clean, warm and welcoming. We plan on staying here again next time we are in Seattle.

  • The apartment building is ideally located for leisure at all times of day. In-unit laundry is a lovely luxury for this cozy apartment. Views of the city on the rooftop are unforgettable. Sid was technologically accessible before and throughout my stay. I highly recommend this home away from home.

    Joshua2015-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed our stay! Convenient location and very walkable neighborhood. The apt was clean and Sid was easy to get ahold of with questions. Would stay there again.

    Ashley2015-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sid was very helpful and accommodating. We had booked at the last minute and weren't able to request for parking beforehand. Sid helped us secure parking In the building at a moment's notice. The apartment was very clean and had a nice kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Wish we could've stayed longer. It's also just as advertised, five minutes away from Pike Place Markey and literally steps away from some cool cafes and restaurants. Would love to stay here again next time.

    Clarissa2015-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect way to experience Seattle! The location is just unbeatable. We were able to walk every and didn't have to worry about a car. It was also right around a ton of coffee shops and restaurants just off the crazy tourist traffic of Pikes Place so you really got to experience Seattle as if you truly lived there yourself. The apartment was perfectly neat and tidy and the building was awesome, we enjoyed a couple rounds of ping pong before we went out every night :) The host was awesome, even staying up until the wee hours of the night to buzz us in since we flew in late. Thanks so much for a great stay!

    Tabitha2015-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wow - the rooftop terrace was lovely - even better than the photos! A shaded area with comfy seating and fabulous view of the harbour. We spent lots of time in the Pike Place market area which was an easy walk away - bought lots of amazing food - and spent time in the cool bistros as well. Loved the pub right on the ground floor - 60 beers on tap! Sid was so helpful with directions and the flat was perfect - spotlessly clean and perfectly located.

New cottage, cabin-like, in the heart of Seattle. Close to bus line, cruise ships, shops, restaurants, waterfront, parks, bike paths, stadiums, Space Needle. Our cottage offers a kitchen, w/d and queen bed among other amenities. Built green.
Spacious studio with 12 foot ceiling, barn door hardware, functional kitchen with granite countertops and recycled old growth pine used on interior walls of room.
Magnolia is an ideal location - close to downtown Seattle (1.4 miles), the Space Needle (2 miles), the Waterfront (1.6 miles) and 1/2 mile to the Cruise Ships. Magnolia Village offers a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants. We are also located by the bike path along the Waterfront and Pike Place Market.
  • Room was very clean when we arrived. There was a heat wave in Seattle so the room was very warm when we arrived. The host did have one small fan available for us. Hosts were very helpful prior to arrival with quick communication responses. The rental is about 3 miles from the space needle outside of downtown and 3 1/2 miles from Pike Place Market. We ended up walking which was a nice walk. Off street parking was nice to have.

    Sara2016-08-22T00:00:00Z

Enjoy the excitement of Seattle and city life in a quiet and green retreat at the Center of the Universe- Fremont!
If what you’re looking for is a cozy, private cottage with easy access to everything Seattle has to offer, then you’ve found your new home away from home! Our charming cottage was originally built in 1950 and is positioned at the back of the large garden behind the main house. The lush garden provides a private oasis from the bustling city. With a super comfy bed, large bay window and skylights above the bed, the cottage is a dreamy place to relax. As it is a studio, the bedroom, living room, and kitchen are one. There’s a small table and chairs for breakfast or tea. The bathroom has been described as European style – it is a small, tiled room with a toilet, sink, and shower overhead. The water heater is relatively small so short showers are recommended. You’ll find tea, coffee, fresh towels, and other necessities (the bathroom cabinet is stocked with toiletries in case you forget anything). There are 2 beach cruisers you can use to ride down the bike path and explore the neighborhood. Wifi is provided. I’ve been an airbnb host for the last 4 years and it’s such a pleasure to share our space! My family and I love meeting our visitors and are available to answer any questions you have during your stay.
We are a 5-minute walk from “downtown” Fremont (but just far enough to avoid the noise from the bars during the weekend). Here you’ll find dozens of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. (For some fantastic Korean-fusion try Revel or for a locally brewed beer head to Fremont Brewery) The bike path is just down the hill and winds along the ship canal. This beautiful ride (or walk) will take you to the shops in Fremont or further to the U-district (where the University of Washington is). Buses stop at the bottom of our hill and will take you to Ballard in 5 minutes or downtown Seattle in 10. You won’t need a car to explore but street parking is plentiful!
  • this cottage is in a perfect location for public transit, walking and biking, if you like to get around that way. i had a wonderful time, and it was pretty amazing to have such a nice little hideaway to come back to during the chilly spring days i was there. thanks a million nan!

  • The host was very thorough and went over the top to make us feel welcome. The neighborhood was our favorite part of Seattle!

    Nate2015-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying at Nan's cottage. It is just darling and soooo nice and clean. It is a beautiful spot with such a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The only slight, and I might slight drawback was the narrow walk to the back of the house and into the cottage. However, this did not hinder the delight in my stay. Thank you, Nan. Margo

    Margo 2012-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Nans place is great, we have travelled all over the country and this was definitely the most homely. Bed was really comfy, the basic kitchenette and bathroom provided everything we needed for the few nights we were in Fremont. The location is great, it is really close to the bus stop and only a short walk from the main strip in Fremont, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Nan was great, she provided lots of touristy information for our trip and made our stay great. Would definitely stay there again.

    Sam2013-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nan's place truly is named appropriately! Definitely charming. And so well appointed! Fluffy white heavy towels, bath amenities, THE softest bed ever! It's like a storybook cottage. The knickknacks are perfect. Clean, comfy and cozy. I will be back in the future!

    Stacy2013-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was fantastic. Quiet and secluded in a great location. Everything I need for a ten day stay. Great access to biking, kayaking, public transport and a great neighborhood.

    Phil2016-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a cute old fashioned cottage in a garden, with TV, kitchen, great heat and air, great lighting, and where you can even watch the stars at night thru a skylight over the bed, this is it. You can escape the city in this garden setting. Nan is well organized, kind, and generous… this is a happy home. Thanks!

    Peggy2013-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful experience! The sweet cottage is surrounded by Nan's adorable garden that you can see she put a lot of love into. The whole place made us feel safe and at home. It was quiet and hidden away, but just steps away from Fremont with plenty of things to do. We can't wait to come back!

Location ! ! Downtown & Pike Place Market: 20-30 min walk, Capitol Hill is a 10-15 minutes walk. Comfortable home on tree lined side street of Pike/Pine. Multitude of cafes, restaurants, movie theaters & bars. Also see our Bedroom #2.
We are in a 'workers' Victorian house built in 1900 located a 20-30 minute walk directly east of Downtown on a tree-lined residential street. The private bedroom with queen size bed accommodates two comfortably. The bath is adjacent, and is shared if both rooms are occupied.
We've watched as our 'hood (Pike/Pine) has become a mecca for food, drink, and art. We have nationally recognized restaurants and bars (as well as numerous food trucks) within blocks. Music venues, and theaters allow for an exciting night life. Many coffee houses, interesting retail, and the best book store in Seattle keep the days interesting. The Seattle International Film Festival and the NW Film Forum both have local theaters with daily showings of indie films. We also have Central Co-op, a great place to shop for local and organic foods. Our neighborhood has a great diversity of people. Capitol Hill (just north of Pike/Pine) has been the city's gayborhood for years; Pike/Pine has been home to many of Seattle's arts community, visual, dance, theater; and Seattle University is just two blocks away. We live on a side street of homes from the early 1900's with several older brick apartment buildings mixed in. Its relaxed and low-key, a great place to walk and wander.
  • Kevin and Louis were wonderful hosts! They have a lovely home and openly welcomed us by giving us city recommendations and even a cup of coffee each morning. Their neighborhood is full of life and lots of quality restaurants. We couldn't have been more happy!

    Andrea Kim2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin and Louis were so welcome and inviting in staying in their home! I have a mobility disability and they met me at the car and carried my suitcase in which was greatly appreciated! Once I got situated and discussed my plans for the week, Louis spent time with me to suggest some alternative activities and places. I wish I had taken their suggestions more, but I had a full schedule with area friends. My mother joined me partway through the trip, and they were equally welcoming to her. The accommodations were just as described, and as a cat owner myself I really enjoyed playing with their cats - it distracted me from missing my own! I was out late most nights, but I know that they were making fires some of the nights. A couple of my friends got to meet them as well, and really enjoyed getting to know them and talking about their home and the area. If you're lucky enough to get into their calendar, you won't regret staying with Kevin and Louis! The location was nicely situated downtown, and they allowed me to park behind their house rather than deal with street parking. If you like a lot of interaction with your hosts, they're both very warm and friendly, and if you're away or prefer your space, that's equally an option. Thank you SO much for your hospitality gentleman! When I come out to search out apartments next year I'll be sure to look you up!

    Tracy2015-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Louie and Kevin was a great experience. Our flight got in late and Louie was up to happily greet us at 10PM with a free parking spot in the alley behind their home. The house is very clean with a beautiful yard and in a prime location in Capitol Hill. We were 2 blocks from Elysian Brewery, Plum Bistro, and Chop Suey concert venue. Pike Place, Space Needle, and the other touristy spots are all within walking distance also. In the morning we were greeted by their friendly cats and offered coffee where we got to sit and talk all about the city. I'm happy we were able to stay at their home and will do so again! Thanks!!

    Alex2015-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Louis & Kevin's place was the perfect place to stay while in Seattle! I had come in from New York City with my best friend - neither of us had ever been to Seattle before but had heard that Capitol Hill was a great part. And staying at Kevin and Louis's proved that absolutely right! Everything was completely walkable. Breweries. Vintage shops. Record shops. Restaurants. The area was young, clean, lively, scenic and very good vibes. The room we stayed in and bathroom we used were both impeccably clean with lots of things on hand like towels and a hair dryer - which was key because we forgot those. Long story short, if you're going to Seattle and looking to stay in a lovely home that's close to everything - stay here.

    Paige2017-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin greeted us, as did a guest that was picking up her bag left in the front room. Check in and check out times were superflexible. We had a chance to talk to both Kevin and Louis and they were super friendly! Also a simple map showed numerous places to visit.

  • It could not get better than this. Conveniently located to public transit. Private keyless entry. Parking right in front of the unit. Everything that could have been thought of was there. TV Listing, local attractions, Frequently Asked Questions, recommendations. They did it all. This Suite felt like it was in a high end hotel Really Really Happy with the stay.

    Will2015-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Marcus checked in with us when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The space was exactly as described- clean and tidy, with nice decor and thoughtful extras like mints on the pillow and a nice selection of single brew coffee. Really appreciated the handy off street parking, easy access to the light rail and the nice dining options just blocks away on the main drag of Columbia City. Highly recommended!

    Chris 2014-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • The rental suite and the location were fantastic. There is a reason the Columbia City neighbourhood has a walkability score of 98%. There are a ton of great restaurants just 2 blocks away on Rainier Ave. Don't miss the Columbia City Bakery, Medusa or the Flying Lion microbrewery just a few blocks to the south. And it's only a 20 minute commute to downtown via the Link Light Rail (so easy to get to). There's even an organic grocery store coming in 3 blocks away in the summer of 2015. And there are a few arts hotspots nearby like The Royal Room and Columbia City Theatre. The space itself is clean and well appointed. The bed is comfortable. The wifi worked perfectly. The suite even has its own hot water tank so you don't have to worry about competing for hot water. An in suite fridge, microwave, coffee maker and dishes were a great touch. The icing on the cake is the brochure rack of Seattle attractions! Marcus and Lara are so friendly, helpful and approachable. They met me at the appointed time and then left me undisturbed (unless I needed something) for the 10 days I stayed. It really does feel like a home away from home. Note, the house beside it is home to renters, so don't ring the doorbell and expect Marcus or Lara to answer. Make arrangements to meet with them ahead of time.

    Cynthia2015-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Marcus & Lara were extremely welcoming and accomodating. The place is very modern, clean and in a convenient location minutes away from downtown.

  • This great studio unit was perfect for my girlfriend and I during our short stay in Seattle. Just a few blocks away from the light rail which will take you in the heart of downtown in about 15 minutes. Cute restaurants and shops right down the street in Columbia City. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

    Mackenzie2015-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a great little hideaway for our trip to Seattle! Marcus and Lara were gracious enough to accommodate us during our stay and their hospitality was top notch. We had a few special requests for things and they were able to provide them for us on short notice. The area is a perfect for lunch and dinner spots and close to the downtown area. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

    Meghan2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable place with everything you could need. Very close to the light rail and even closer to buses. Marcus was a great communicator and an awesome host. Highly recommended.

  • The studio was charming! Very clean and comfortable. Great location within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the Light Rail in historic Columbia City. The hosts provide snacks and coffee. There is plenty of literature on things to do in Seattle. It is a great place to stay!

Foot friendly with lots of community gardens, called p-patches! I am in a neighborhood called the Central District (locals call it 'The CD') between the fantastic local eateries and shops in nearby Capitol Hill and Madrona 'hoods.' Like many US cities, the CD neighborhood has both has million dollar homes as well as a homeless population.
  • What a great cozy place to stay while in Seattle! For us, it was perfectly located! We were able to walk to local stores, restaurants and coffee! The walking gave you a nice look at the eclectic Seattle neighborhoods. The size of the little apartment was perfect for the two of us, we felt right at home! We chose to get a rental car, which worked great for what we needed to do, however, the public transit is close by. Mapping out your adventures will help you decide if you need your own car or if using the public transportation would be best for you. We had a great time, it never rained on us! Julie was a sweetheart! She wants you to feel at home and is there for you if needed. She gives you lots of information for things to do. We would definitely go back and stay there again! So, if you're looking for a quiet, private place to enjoy your travels to Seattle, definitely check out Julie's place!

  • Julie was a great host who went out of her way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The apartment itself is great - I really appreciated having my own entrance and complete privacy so I could come and go without worrying that I was being a disturbance. This is the perfect location for someone looking to spend some time in Seattle and not wanting to stay in a hotel. I particularly enjoyed walking from the apartment to downtown - it took about 30 minutes. Taking the bus was incredibly simple and quick as well (10 minute bus ride to get downtown). I would come back and stay here for sure!

    Rick2011-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • I'm working on building a house a few blocks north of this apartment. I wanted a trip to convince my girlfriend to move with me by planning an "if we lived here" vacation. Foregoing the sterile hotel experience for ten days in a fantastic central Seattle neighborhood within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, theaters, book stores, public transportation, etc. This place really was the icing on the cake and couldn't have gone better.

    Clay2012-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect lil' gem we found! The pictures look exactly what you'll expect. Although, a little chilly a times, space heaters are abundant to use. Good kitchenette to prepare breakfast and a light meal. Cute bathroom and lovely amenities provided. Convenient to downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill & Central District. Clean and well maintained.

    Victoria 2012-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Julie's apartment was so spacious, and was more than enough space for the two of us. Although it is not centrally located to the downtown area, it is easily accessible by buses. Julie provided a lot of information about Seattle and the best places to visit in the immediate area around her studio. She was kind enough to accomodate our early arrival and gave us a full tour. Great value!

    Lani2012-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Julie's Airbnb. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood, conveniently located and easily accessible to downtown Seattle. The space was cozy indeed, tastefully decorated, very clean, and private. I was provided everything I could need and more, and the little details (coffee and tea available, toiltetries, etc) were appreciated. Julie was very welcoming of me to the space and communication with her was reliable if needed.

    Dinah2015-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Really like the place, it was an opportunity to live the real Seattle life since we could walk to the neighborhood's coffee shops and a quick walk to see the Washington Lake. Enjoyed staying in the appartment, it was tidy and clean, even if it was a bit cold during the night, the heaters helped a lot! Also loved the fact we could enjoy a bit of sun in the magical garden! Julie is a very nice host and always smiling =). Definately recommended for a getaway!!

    Annis2012-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a peaceful neighborhood and public transit very close. From the airport you can take the light rail to Baker Terminal and catch the the 48 to olive street. From there is 3 short blocks.

Join us for a full breakfast and a comfy King Bed in a beach neighborhood that is as unique as any you'll find in an urban setting. Airbnb listed West Seattle in the Top Ten Trendiest Neighborhoods in the World. We are just across the street from the Puget Sound with occasional sightings of Orcas, Otters and Seals. The "Alki Strip" of beach-front dining and libations is just a short walk/drive/bike ride away and there's a popular Italian restaurant right on our block. Downtown is nearby too
The room is moderately large (14' x 16') with a mini-fridge, Flat Screen TV and a bowl of my signature Peppermint Patties on the bed stand :). Full disclosure: the room is on the 3rd floor with two flights of 14 steps, but I will insist on carrying large bags to your room!! You have access to the "house bicycle" and access to the kitchen as well. Seattle has also been recently blessed with competing "Bike Share" companies which means that you will see hundreds of brightly colored bicycles all over the city, including many of them near our home. Bicycles can be located via a smartphone app. A lock on the rear wheel is unlocked when a rider scans a QR code on the bicycle. The current bike share companies are Lime Bike, Spin Bike and Ofo (whose bikes are painted a bright green, orange and yellow, respectively). You will see excited references to these bikes in some of our recent guest reviews. I will also provide breakfast everyday and will have a pump-pot of hot coffee ready to go when you rise. I am currently a full-time Uber driver and can arrange for your trips to and from the airport or to other parts of the area. We are also right on the #37 Bus line that goes to downtown Seattle during early morning commute times (until 7:30AM daily). After 7:30 you can access all-day bus lines about 3 quarters-of-a-mile away at Alki Beach. You can also take Seattle's famed "Water Taxi" from West Seattle (which is about 3 miles from our home) to the Seattle Waterfront.
This is one of the most unique neighborhoods in Urban America because of the nearby Wildlife, the beach access and the diverse dining/drinking options. I would encourage you to search "Alki Beach" and/or "Beach Drive" to get a feel for the neighborhood. You can also search for the Beach Drive Blog. Airbnb just listed West Seattle (with an emphasis on our Alki Beach/Beach Drive neighborhood) as the 9th trendiest neighborhood....wait for it.....ON EARTH. You will find a unique combination of nature, the smell of salt air and the dining drinking options you would expect in a trend, urban neighborhood.
  • Everything was amazing, down to the last detail. Mike has put all the right efforts into being the perfect host & having the perfect space. Everything was cozy, soft, comfortable, accessible, provided... And the location just CANNOT be beat. Absolutely look forward to returning next time I'm in the area.

  • Mike and Nancy are so nice, kind and accommodating. The location is a plus, walkable to the beach and close to downtown. You won't regret staying here. Would recommend to anyone or family who visit Seattle!

    Olivia2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Mike was super welcoming and friendly. When we arrived, he offered us drinks and snacks, and chatted with us as we got settled in. This was our first time using Airbnb, and Mike made it feel like we were visiting a friend's house. The place was in a great location, right near the ocean, in a very quiet, cute, and safe neighbourhood. The bed was very comfortable and large. There's a small attached patio that we enjoyed the following morning. The en-suite bathroom was great. No need to walk down a hallway was very nice. We didn't stay long, as we were just there for the night, but it was a great experience, and we will book with Mike again next time we're in Seattle! I cannot say enough good things about him and his house!

    Jacob2016-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great experience. Our only regret was it was just an overnight stay with an early departure to the airport.

    Amy2016-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location. You can see the water and the Olympic Peninsula a few steps away. You are right next to the water. Nice neighborhood with people enjoying the sunny weather and walking their dogs, saying hello. Conveniently close to the West Seattle junction if you want shops and pubs. Mike's very accommodating and while around he's not intrusive at all. Nice guy. Wish I stayed longer.

    Joel2016-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Mike's place was very comfortable and private. Mike was a great host.

    Kim2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Mike was an excellent host!! Even before meeting me, I inquired about the Italian restaurant by his house, so he made a reservation for me. It was awesome! I imagine his place would be a great place to stay in "Seattle summers". His house is right off the water

  • This is a gem of a spot! Such a peaceful and wonderful little loft cabin on the beach. We had such a great time and will go back again soon.

  • This place is amazing! The loft is even more adorable than the photos. Lisa was a great host. We will definitely be back again!

  • Wow! I traveled with my mother and brother for some much needed family time to celebrate's Mom's retirement and birthday. While it was miserable and rainy in Portland, we got 2 days of (mostly) sunshine! We loved the loft, it was so unique and cozy. And Lisa was super helpful and friendly. The cat, the dog, horses and of course, all of the birds, kept us very entertained. We saw a bald eagle land in the yard only to be chase off by hawks! So crazy. We will most definitely be back. In fact, I wish I was there right now. -Racheal

  • My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the loft. The setting is stunningly beautiful. The loft is perched perhaps 50-100 feet above the ocean; we lucked out with mid-February weather and had sunny views over the Puget Sound with Mt. Rainier towering in the distance. The loft itself is straight out of Dwell, in a Scandinavian-meets-Vashon-nautical kind of way. White walls, polished concrete floors, driftwood railings, a large model of a sailing ship, and huge, sparklingly clean windows with views to die for. Lisa also underbills the kitchen: my girlfriend and I are avid cooks, and we found it totally suitable for making dinner. We also brought our bikes, and the small country roads between the loft and the Snapdragon cafe were extremely pretty. Take the coastal road for some hairpin descents and ocean views. All in all, highly recommended! Probably the nicest place we've ever stayed in from Airbnb.

    Daniel2015-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was adorable and the view of the Puget Sound was absolutely breathtaking! Everything about this property was incredible-fruit trees, chickens, ducks, horses, and the cutest dog Saussi! Lisa was a fabulous host, very responsive and easy going. We will be back very soon! x

  • This was my second time to the Loft and again, Lisa's place did not disappoint! It continues to be a magical retreat. Every last detail is considered. Lisa was gracious and welcoming. I'm sure I'll be back for a 3rd visit.

    Katrina2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED our stay at Lisa's Loft. It was our first time on Vashon Island and it was absolutely beautiful and the people were very friendly. The Loft was better than we expected. The little touches made it feel so special. Our favorite part of our whole trip to the Seattle area and Vashon was spending time down by the water in front of the loft together as a family. Thank you Lisa for and amazing stay!

Location ! Downtown & Pike Pl Market: 20-30 minute walk; Capitol Hill is a 10-15 minutes walk. Comfortable home on tree lined side street of Pike/Pine. Multitude of cafes, bars, and the best book store in Seattle. Also see our Bedroom #1.
We are in a 'workers' Victorian house built in 1900 located a 20-30 minute walk directly east of Downtown on a tree-lined residential street. This private bedroom has a queen bed. The bath is adjacent and is shared if the other room is occupied.

  • I had a great time on this trip! Kevin and Louis were super friendly and helpful - they gave me a map as soon as I arrived and had plenty of suggestions for things to do, places to go, etc. The house was very comfortable, the neighborhood was within easy walking distance of downtown, and I always felt safe coming and going. I spent a lot of time sightseeing, but it was also peaceful enough for me to work (telecommute) when I needed to. Would definitely recommend!

    Katherine2016-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying with Louis and Kevin. The room was nice and clean, the house was cozy, and their cats are so cute :) They gave us advice about where to go for dinner, sightseeing etc. Would love to go back :)

  • Our stay with Louis and Kevin was fantastic! As hosts, they were both warm and welcoming, taking care to chat with us and give us great pointers on where to go in the city. Their home was beautiful with lots of character and the added bonus of two adorable cats. We were only here for one night and we were definitely sad to leave. This is the perfect spot to stay on a visit to Seattle!

    Jacquie2015-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Louis and Kevin are gregarious and knowlegeable hosts. The house is cozy and in a very walkable and lots of things going on area. Friendly but well behaved cats are a plus.

    Sandra2016-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Louis' & Kevin's place for one Saturday night this summer, and enjoyed every bit of it. Would love to come back any time! Location-wise it's just very convenient, and the house has this lovely homely feel about it. The room and bathroom were comfortable, very well equipped and super clean. Plus, the area they're in in Seattle is so vibrant and definitely worth more exploring. We for instance found an excellent restaurant, diner and a whiskey bar all in a one-to-two block radius from Louis and Kevin's place. To us, Louis and Kevin themselves may easily have been the best part of the whole experience. They are such thoughtful and genuinely warm hosts that we felt sort of sad to say goodbye. As hosts, hey do come highly recommended. The communication and check in went super smooth and they will provide useful tips for going around town. Thank you guys for a fun stay in Seattle.

    Anthonie2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Louis and Kevin are such wonderful hosts, they opened their home to us with absolutely amazing warmth and welcoming. They always found time to say hi and sit down and chat by the fireplace, and show us around their lovely garden. They were always helpful and open to give suggestions about places to see in Seattle. The room is warm, comfortable and clean. Although the bedroom doesnt have a private bathroom, that wasn't an issue as the bathroom was always kept well equipped and clean. The house is perfectly located, everything is a walking distance away, with access to public transportation. As we were ready to depart and leave on our way, Louis and Kevin gave us such warm goodbye, it truely felt as we were leaving two friends behind. Anytime I am in Seattle in the future, I plan to see the opportunity to stay at their place.

    Zaid2015-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin (or Louis?) was waiting for us on the front porch and welcomed us into the house. He showed us the room, gave us a key to the front door and a key to the room (which we felt no need to use). They also showed us the off street parking place (which is worth it's weight in gold on Capital Hill!). The house is old and has it's bumps but is very charming and clean. The double bed was comfortable and we both slept well. If I need a place to stay on Capitol Hill in the future, I'll definitely contact Kevin and Louis again!

A private mini home away from home in the heart of one of Seattle's Best Neighborhoods!
Enjoy your own private mini-home while exploring Seattle. Conveniently located just blocks from downtown Ballard and an easy 15 minute bus ride from downtown, this quaint yet roomy space is perfect for out of town guests and vacationers. The 250 square foot space enjoys its own deck space and hot tub. French doors fully open to the deck to create an indoor/outdoor great room with plenty of outdoor seating. It has a mini kitchen with a 2-burner stove with a mini fridge, microwave, sink and kitchen essentials. This includes cooking supplies like pans, plates, oil, salt and pepper etc. We also have a Keirig Coffee Maker with a generous supply of K-Cups. The newly remodeled bath includes a shower with on-demand water. There is a storage closet in the bath for clothes and extra linens. If you are staying longer than three days, I will provide fresh towels and linens for you upon request. The bedroom loft is cozy and features a double size bed (new memory foam mattress in 2015). The ladder up to the loft is custom-made to retract from the wall for easy access. When it is not in use, it slides flush to the wall to allow for more room in the living space. If you are very tall, the loft might seem a bit tight (fyi). There is a couch which allows for an extra person to sleep in the unit if you wish. I also have a portable crib that you are welcome to use. Just let me know. I'm pretty strict about maxing out at 3 guests. Children under 8 are not allowed in the loft area for safety-sake. This rental Includes cable tv and access to wireless Internet. The overall look and feel of the space is what I call, "Modern Nautical". Ballard is an old fishing town that has become the culinary hot spot of Seattle. The colors and lighting fixtures give homage to Ballard's history. There is plenty of free off-street parking and access to one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle is just a short walk away! There are quite a few quick service/family run (no chains) restaurants within a block from the house along with a great fruit stand and espresso shop. Grocery and drug stores are within 5-7 blocks away. The bus stop to a main arterial is a 1/2 block away. A great bakery is only 2 blocks away. This is a great location for those of you vacationing without a rental car. Pretty much anything you need is less than a 10-15 minute walk away. Even if you have a rental car, you can leave it parked and just explore all the fun stuff in Ballard! Oh, and did I mention the peek a boo views of Mt. Rainier and downtown from the deck? We look forward to meeting you! -Errin & Olivia
Ballard is a great neighborhood with tons of bars and little restaurants. Just ask me and I'm happy to share some of my faves.
  • Errin was very easy to communicate with and made getting to the mini home very easy. The mini house is located fairly close to the main part of Ballard, about at 10-15 min walk. We discovered a lot of good food and great breweries while walking around. Downtown Seattle was also an easy drive to get to from the mini house.

    Sara2016-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • This accommodation out far exceeded our expectations. It was quant and absolutely perfect for a couple and a romantic weekend getaway! Erinn was extremely accommodating and the neighborhood was located perfectly outside of the downtown hustle and bustle. Equipped with a mini kitchen, we were able to get our own fish from Pikes Place Market and have a fantastic dinner in our home away from home. Staying at the mini home provided so many comforts and an absolutely wonderful & memorable experience. I recommend this stay to any couple looking for an intimate getaway.

  • My partner and I stayed for nine days in Errin's summer cottage. We had an excellent stay, both in terms of the home itself and in terms of the location. The home was comfortable and equipped with almost everything you could reasonably expect. The location was convenient for Ballard itself (with its plentiful bars and restaurants) as well as other interesting neighbourhoods like Fremont and Green Lake. Downtown is an easy bus ride away, too. Recommended!

  • We were flying into Seattle very late and our host was very flexible about what time we arrived. She had the key in the house and we were free to let ourselves in. We never met Errin in person, but she was on the property the entire time and made it known that we could get in touch with her if we wished. The house looks almost exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked, there was complimentary K-cups and everything fit our needs quite well. Errin also provided shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc. She also had a ton of brochures on things to do in the area. The bed was so comfortable! My fiance and I are average size people; I can't imagine a larger person being comfortable in the loft area. The only aspect that I was disappointed with was the cleanliness of the house. The house was very tidy but details like cobwebs and fresh towels under the dishes were overlooked. Off street parking was also tricky at times. As far as Ballard, we both preferred Ballard over Seattle. My fiance and I are more outdoorsy people and the city life isn't for us. Ballard had some excellent restaurants and was close enough to the airport.

  • The mini-home was everything described and more. The location was excellent and Errin provided us with everything we could have needed during our stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! I would highly recommend the mini-home to other travelers and would love to stay there again during our next trip. Thank you for a great experience during our first trip to Seattle!

  • My husband and I were in LOVE with this mini-home, I want my own in behind my house! The place is cute, bright and has anything that you'd need. The location is great, we rented a car and could park easily on the street, but could also walk to dinner, bars, coffee, etc. Errin was very responsive and there if we needed her, but she's thought of everything for the mini home. Would be happy to stay here again and recommend the place to friends.

  • The mini home was all that we expected and more. It was in a great location with easy access to the city and surrounds. Errin met us upon arrival and gave us a rundown of the local area, she was a great host! We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely use the mini home again. -Scott & Adelaide

  • Errin was a very nice and helpful host and responded very fast when we had questions. The mini-home was well equipped and offered everything we needed for our stay.

Private cottage nestled in wooded area next to a creek and waterfall. Perfectly located, just minutes from restaurants, entertainment, and I-90 to get to Seattle or the cascade mountains. Also, we have another cottage next to this one. Look for listing "Private cabin right on creek".
Charming creekside cottage with deck. Quiet and private. Accommodates up to 2 people. Please note that the cottage is small (about 200 sq. feet). It has a small private bathroom with shower and toilet only (no sink). The one sink is located in the kitchen with mirror. There is one queen-size bed. Amenities include a mini-refrigerator, microwave, Kuerig coffeemaker, flat screen TV with DVD player, hair dryer, and iron board with iron. We have high speed internet and cable service to cabin. Private off road parking right next to cottage. Though we are close to a busy street, the cottage faces the creek, so the noise you hear is primarily the creek and waterfall. No smoking please, and no excessive alcohol or illegal drugs on property. Thanks for your cooperation!!
Our cottage is nestled in a forested area with a creek and waterfall to provide a private, quiet, and peaceful stay. You feel like your away from it all, yet you are just one minute from Issaquah Highlands with shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
  • Pete and Mary Kay were wonderful hosts - just the right amount of helpfulness. Their cottage is lovely and well appointed. We were comfortable and happy with our stay. They communicated everything we could possibly need, and were always prompt with their responses. The view from the front porch is beautiful, and the cottage is cozy.

  • Peter ans Marry were warm-hearted, caring ans always ready to help!

  • Pete and Mary Kay's cottage was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. We loved the sweet basket of goodies that welcomed us and the personal touches that made this a perfect place to stay. The location was easy to get to off the freeway and yet it felt worlds away in a nice tranquil area. Mary Kay and Pete were incredibly accommodating and very personable.

  • Pete and Mary Kay were welcoming and helpful, while allowing me the quiet and privacy I was seeking. The cabin is IDEAL for a quick get-away from Seattle and I can't wait to stay there again. It was clean and charming and peaceful. I loved the sound of the creek ! Comfy bed, delicious coffee provided and a wonderful Adirondack chair on the porch. Thank you again !

  • We loved the waterfall cabin. You will be surprised that this glorious spot is located in the city. Breathtaking. Quaint Issaquah historic district is close by. Pete and Mary Kay really thought out the amenities for this little gem and are very kind and friendly. We did not want to leave. Highly recommend. Thanks for the memories!

Great location, fast access to downtown either by bus, cab or Uber. Friendly neighbor cat to greet us too!

  • We got to spend most of our stay with DD. DD was extremely hospitable and warm. We enjoyed the stay so much and could not have hoped for a better experience. The room looks just as advertised. This is the place we'd go if some day we visit Seattle again. Thanks, Beth and DD!

  • It's a very good place for visitor to live. It's near bus stop and light rail that it's very convenient to airport.

    Rita2014-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Beth was very kind and hospitable! I only stayed one night, so I didn't get to interact with her much, but the room and shower were very nice and even came complete with guides and a list of amenities. She also personally showed me around parts of Seattle that I had yet to see. I would happily stay at her residence again and recommend her to anyone.

    Ian2014-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • It's been a great experience. Beth's place is so nice and quiet, all I could hear at night was bird chirps. My room was clean and spacious. Beth has basically everything prepared: toiletries, bottled water in the room, bread and fruits... If I'm visiting Seattle again I'll definitely come back. :)

    Ying2015-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Beth was very pleasant! We stayed there with our little two month old she was perfectly fine with us having our little boy there with us :) We only got to stay with her for one night but would love to stay with her again if we are ever in Seattle :)

  • This was my first time using airbnb and I really enjoyed it. Roland was a wonderful host. His home was extremely inviting. I was impressed by how organized everything was. I would highly recommend that if you are traveling in the Seattle area this is the place to stay.

    Carlie2016-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Plenty of advice

    Jonathan2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second stay with Roland. Both times went very smoothly. He was welcoming and went above and beyond the needs of a host to make us feel welcome. The location is fabulous and the house is a gem of a classic craftsman in very good condition. I love that though visitors are renting a room, the whole house is set up for guests. I feel completely comfortable using the common areas including both bathrooms, the kitchen and the common work and eating room off the kitchen. Overall, highly recommended!

    Shane2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • When I first got to the listing, the room was ready even a bit before check-in that was fantastic. Roland let me in and James gave me a tour of the place. This was my first Airbnb and the accommodations and amenities where even more than I was expecting. The room was clean and looks even better than the photos, heck they even left some fancy chocolate in there. If you're here just to get to know the city or visiting this place is in a great location. Walking distance to bus stop (and even an UberHop drop-off. The hosts were great guys and really made you feel at ease, even if you're travelling on your own. If all Airbnb's are this good I know I won't be going to a hotel anytime soon.

    David2015-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Rolands place was amazing. His house is beautiful and very clean. Communication was easy and he always replied quickly. I would definitely come back!:)

Stay four blocks from Pike Place, 2 blocks from waterfront, surrounded by famous Belltown restaurants and bars. Near Pike/Pine shopping district, Pioneer Square, Space Needle. Full bathroom, streaming video and Wifi. Professionally cleaned and managed. 1:00 PM Bag Drop Off!
This is a studio apartment with its own bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has a full tub and shower. The kitchen has newer appliances including a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, disposal in sink and dishwasher. My units are professionally managed and immaculately clean. My streamlined check in process is faster than a hotel. There is no waiting on anyone to get your keys. This unit is free of personal clutter which makes for a thorough cleaning for every guest. The cleaning staff uses antibacterial agents every turnaround. The unit is spotless every time. This flat has a great location and comfortable but luxurious furnishings. Light rail to airport makes transportation simple and quick without waiting in freeway traffic. An amazing selection of bars and restaurants surround the unit in all directions. Parking is available on several lots within a couple blocks. It is five blocks from Pike Place Market, about a half mile. The walk is along the bay with amazing views. Feel free to cook in the kitchen which has a dishwasher and disposal, but the neighboring restaurants are top notch. A dinner reservation is a good idea if you are choosy about the cuisine, but there are so many restaurants in the area you can always find a table. There is an AC unit as well as a 32" LED TV with an HD antenna and an HD streaming video service. Towels and sheets are provided. Coffee and coffee maker are provided. There is a hairdryer and ironing/ironing board in the unit. My cleaning staff uses antibacterial agents every turn around and the lack of clutter makes this place very sanitary. It is spotless, dust and germ free. The unit has a free dedicated 12mb wireless internet service. Parking is available on the street or in a lot a few blocks away for around $20/day. The unit does not have its own parking. Rental cars are also available nearby. I don't recommend you bring a rental car from the airport because you won't need it unless you want to drive far from the city. This unit is professionally cleaned and sanitized for each guest hence the $45 cleaning fee. I apologize for this additional cost but it is in the best interest of all guests. Stay at this luxury unit with all the amenities of home for a fraction of the price of downtown hotels. You will never go back to hotel prices after staying at Airbnbs offering amazing values.
Seattle's Belltown neighborhood is the pinnacle of downtown living. The neighborhood is packed with famous bars, restaurants, clubs, pool halls, and music venues. My calendar is up to date. If your dates are available for request, the unit is vacant. Feel free to instant book or ask me questions first. Belltown is named after William Nathaniel Bell who was a member of the Denny Party which first settled Seattle. Bell not only named the neighborhood, which abuts downtown to the northwest, but also named two of the area’s major thoroughfares after two of his children (Virginia Street and Olive Way).
  • Clean and central with a responsive host - everything we could have hoped for.

    Sarah2015-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The building (but not the room) smelt funky. The room definitely looks nicer in the pictures. The neighborhood isn't the nicest. Picking up keys via lock-box was a bit sketchy.

    Taylor2015-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great little studio apartment within a few minutes walk of the Bell Harbor conference center. Room was as described and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

    Khalid2015-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Good location and a simple place to stay. It feels as if your in a scavenger hunt when reading how to access the key. Building is a bit older.

    Scotland2015-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Michael's place was exactly what I was after - a good location, clean and tidy. Definitely towards the 'functional' end of the few airbnb places I've stayed but the area, convenience and view made the apartment well worth it.

    Jonathan2014-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Michael was very responsive and very accommodating to my boyfriend and me who were visiting Seattle. He answered all of my questions promptly and did everything he could to be helpful and make sure we had a good trip. His apartment was perfect for what we needed. From his doorsteps we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do - dinner and drinks in Belltown, a visit to Pike's, Oysters downtown, and even the ferry terminal to Bainbridge. As some reviews mentioned, with the window open there is some street noise, but we thought the fan and AC worked just fine and didn't disturb our sleep. His apartment was also very clean and tidy and very spacious for a couple. I'd definitely recommend staying here, especially if you want to be in a cool neighborhood with lots in the surrounding blocks. Had a great time. Great stay.

    Tanya2014-09-21T00:00:00Z

    Modern Belltown Studio
    299 reviews
Fun & quirky studio in an unbeatable location-old world charm meets cozy retreat. Perfect for a getaway or a business trip. Stocked beyond the essentials so you never have to scramble for that important event. Close to everything & parking available for an additional $10/night.
My bright studio is full of quirky old world charm and lots of light. This is a corner unit on the back side of the building facing the back yard and shielded from the street noise. I have a fully stocked kitchen if you feel like making a meal. Bathroom has your basics such as body wash, shampoo & conditioner as well as a few extras like a flat iron, hair dryer, and some styling products. Forgot something? Toothbrush? Toothpaste? Dental floss? Q-tips? Razor? Don't worry I got you covered! Please note that this is an older building with hardwood floors in the middle of the most lively neighborhood in town. If you need absolute silence to enjoy your stay this is not a good fit. There is always some level of noise depending on what time of the year or day of the week you come. Whether it's from the neighbors grilling out back (feel free to make friends!), a block party or just the regular weekend crowd enjoying the nightlife. If you are a light sleeper you may want to pack some earplugs. Promoting the local community and artisans that make this city great is really important to me - help me support our local artists & businesses. All of the art you see on the walls is by a local artist and friend. I also partner with local craftsmen to promote their work - need gift giving ideas anyone? Tea selection is from our local loose leaf organic tea shop just down the street - please visit their store and bring some home with you!
I'm a leasing agent in Seattle and Cap Hill is my favorite neighborhood! It's diverse and eclectic - we have all kinds of folks from all walks of life living here. From artsy creative types to high tech. This is a lively and thriving neighborhood not for the faint of heart. There is always something to do, a show to see, a new restaurant to try, or a festival to attend. This is also Seattle's 'gayborhood' - if being surrounded by rainbow hair, glitter & feather boas doesn't sound like your cup of tea this may not be the place for you. We welcome everyone here but we expect those who come visit our neighborhood to respect our community. The apartment is near everything - you can walk to the grocery store, coffee shops, boutiques, yoga studio, tons of restaurants and anything else you might be interested. Looking for something specific? Just ask - I'd be happy to point you in the right direction!
  • The apartment was in a decent location and it was easy to walk to restaurants and bars and just as easy to drive to others. All would have been fine had t not been for the loudness of the building coming from all directions. The walls really are paper thin and the apartment is on the first floor so people were out in the courtyard it faces and it felt like they were in the apartment with us. Also, it meant keeping the shades down most of the time so it was quite dark in the apartment.

  • A lovely stay in the heart of Capitol Hill. Clean place with lots of nice personal and thoughtful touches. Highly recommend!

    Adam2016-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Elena is a 5 star host! I am a host myself and Elena sets the bar very high. Easy entry with lock box key. Comfortable bed and ridiculously soft sheets, amazing hot shower with everything you could possibly think of from luxury bath products, body lotion to Qtips and sunblock :] Also a great kitchen with and incredible selection of gourmet shop teas and everything you could need for cooking. The bedroom is large and bright, but has blinds for sleeping in and a great breeze. This place blows the top of any luxury hotel in the area for half the price. An amazing find, thanks! Elena

    Chris 2015-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is amazing and is a steal for the price. It's very centrally located, right in Capitol Hill and a quick walk to downtown. The kitchen is well-stocked with complimentary teas and coffees, which is totally unnecessary due to the plethora of excellent restaurants and cool coffeeshops in the area. Elena was extremely helpful and responsive as well.

    Aaron2015-08-11T00:00:00Z

  • Elena went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The apartment was clean & cozy, and, more importantly, we felt right at home here. It is clear that Elena has put a lot of thought and intentionality into her space, and all of our needs were more than taken care of. She was also extremely responsive and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. We would definitely stay here again!

This unique 1900s style home is within walking distance to Chinatown, Historic Pioneer Square, Downtown Seattle & the famous Pike Place Market. It is near the light rail and Amtrak (15-20 walk) and many local cafes and shops. Street parking is free and available!
Hardwood floors, a "real" bed, high ceilings with picture railing and original wood framed windows and doors. There is a desk, plenty of light from two windows and a 3-way standing lamp. It's quiet, and private. Room is right next to bathroom and kitchen. The bedroom is normal size, comfortable for 1 or 2 people.
I love the diversity of my neighborhood, the proximity to downtown Seattle, Chinatown, Pioneer Square and the delicious Asian cuisine which I hope you will try. I feel safe during my daily walks, know most of my neighbors and have enjoyed their friendship over many years. Parking is not a problem and I can always find a spot to park right in front of the house. Really!! My diverse neighborhood allows many different ethnic groups and religious affiliations to flourish side by side: St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Peter's Japanese Episcopal Church, Vietnamese Buddist Temple, African American Baptist Churches and many more, all co-exist in this wonderful urban setting and are only a few blocks away.
  • Very good experience in Seattle. The room was very clean and cute. Everything was ready when I arrived. And Carol was a very nice host and provided all tourism info if you asked. Breakfast was very nice as well. The restroom was always clean and cozy

  • I recently enjoyed a nice 2 night stay in Carol's lovely home. Cara and Nick with both fun to talk with and each morning Carol prepared a cup of coffee and a delicious Cara Care orange for me. The house and room were clean and just as displayed. Bathroom is shared but that did not present any issues. Location made walking and using public transit to get around Seattle very easy!

  • Carol was great! She welcomed me to her house even though I didn't arrive until 8:30 PM. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and in good working order. On top of that, Carol was a great person to chat with and she has a cute cat named Mimi. In the morning she provided me toast, coffee, orange slices, yogurt and some sweets. It was a great stay for a reasonable price!

    Mitchell2015-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Carol was extremely friendly, communicative, gracious, accommodating, and an overall excellent host. The home was immaculately clean. Our breakfast was ready for us by the time we rolled out of bed every morning. The area felt very safe with ample street parking. The central banking district was within walking distance. There were an assortment of amazing Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants very close. Overall, I would highly recommend Carol and her accommodations to anyone. The next time I stay in Seattle, Carol's place will be on the top of my list. Good lodging fills up fast, so make sure to book your trip well in advance. Great work Carol!

    Neil2014-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in Carol's place might be my favorite part for my entire trip in Seattle. The room is really clean, cozy and the bed is probably the most comfortable bed ever! The location is great, walking distance to the international district light rail station. Carol is extremely nice and warm. She prepared some travel maps and traveling size shampoo for the visitors which is so sweet and thoughtful! I had a great time hanging out with her , her family and friend. They gave me a tour in Seattle! I will highly recommend this place!

  • Great experience! Carol was super sweet and accommodating. I had a friend come in halfway through my stay and she was more than happy to accommodate her. Also, fun to hang out with. Really enjoyed having someone to chat with at the end of the day.

  • We totally enjoyed our stay with Carol Hughes. It felt more like being with a family member or an old friend. It was great. Carol did everything to make our stay enjoyable with a lovely breakfast and conversation every morning. Our room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. There was no problem with coming and going at our leisure. Carol was very knowledgable with the area and helped with sightseeing activities. Her home is located close to just about everything. There are awesome running paths close to her home which we enjoyed throughout our stay. I would definitely stay with Carol again should we ever return to the Seattle area.

It's a Teeny Tiny Guesthouse! Enter the words "tiny guesthouse tour" in your search engine or follow the instructions in the 2nd photo to see the video. Trust me, it's totally worth it! Also, click on the photo for more photos. :) The price is the price. No hidden extra "cleaning" charges! Those are for the hosts who want to scam you. But that's not really my thing. Trust me, have I ever lied to you?
Don't worry, the Tiny Guesthouse has heat. Very cozy this time of year. I built a teeny tiny guesthouse in my backyard, between the Garage Majal and the old millworkers house in the middle of Seattle's exciting Fremont neighborhood! It's 68 sq' and can sleep 3 (if two of the three are a couple) using the sleeping loft that lets out onto the rooftop view lawn or, my not yet patented, "Garage Door Murphy Bed". There's a teeny tiny full bath (toilet, sink, shower) and a secret bathtub beneath the floor. It is private from the other living areas on the property although, being right in town, stepping outside may put you in contact with (gasp!) actual other people. There are times when people hang out to chat, BBQ, sing and laugh downstairs, as it should be. Remeber, this is in the city. It's not a quiet retreat for the noise sensitive. That said, I've gotten very few complaints about noise. There is no TV but good fast wifi for your laptop and a cool old radio with iPod plug in! (just set the selector dial to "aux" and plug the little wire into your headphone jack) I built it primarily for guests and my roomates guests but there are lots of times when it just sits empty so I put it up here on airbnb! If you'd like to stay in a truly unique little place 1 block from the Centre of the Universe then this might be for you! I strongly encourage you to watch the video to get a really good sense of just how tiny the space is and if it would function well for you. I know, now it's a pain in the ass to type in the URL and I'm hopping mad at airbnb for taking down the hyperlink but there it is. The fact is, they're a good service but also, marketing aside, just another giant multinational corporation trying to snuggle up and look like your best friend while protecting themselves from imagined threats on all sides. You and I have to work with and around them as best we can to make sure that each of us ends up having a good experience. So far, so good. I've filled out their neighborhood guide up there with lots of my recommendations for places to eat, drink, shop, or just play. Take a little time and see what's up here in Fremont. I've also provided detailed directions that become viewable to you when you book (as well as my phone number). Since I prefer if guests come in the back way to avoid disturbing the tenants in my front house it would be great if, just this once, you could put your GPS away, go old school, and print up the directions. I promise it's actually easier to find me this way! I now have 4 loaner bicycles! Bring your own helmet, I've got a lock. (It's free to use, but $100-175 bucks if you lose one or get it stolen. That's the deal to use them. See "house rules" below.) They're old and cool and reliable with at least 3 speeds each! My personal favourite is Blackie, the Austrian built Sears bike from the 1960s! Just in! Please read the "House Rules" section. There's some stuff there that will help us all get along like hippies in a freshly landscaped city park!
Fremont is about a 10 minute bus ride from downtown. Seattle lives in its neighborhoods and this is one of it's best ones. From my place you can walk 2 blocks into the center of things where you can find enough to entertain you for days on end. Want to go up to Ballard, over to Gasworks Park, or downtown? Grab a bike and be anywhere in 10-15 minutes!
  • The tiny house was perfect for my needs. Hal was accessible, but didn't hover. The setting is delightful; in kooky cool Fremont. Hal had left me some fruit and snacks. After my long drive, it was so nice to collapse and munch. If you are ok with small spaces, this is a treat..

    Trisha2012-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Hal was a gracious and friendly host. He was easy to communicate with and even helped us find parking as we were arriving late in the evening. The space is as advertised, and functions perfectly as a stash house for your belongings and a place to get ready to explore the city. We could not have asked for a more perfect experience and we will definitely be back when we travel through Seattle again. Thanks

    Russell 2014-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place great! It's cool funky in a great neighborhood and Hal is as good a host as anyone could hope for. Will definitely be returning again. For folks interested in tiny house living, this is a must see.

    Maia2015-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing teeny tiny place. It is a creative space that is well thought out . Breakfast on the rooftop lawn was a hilight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again next time we are in the area. Hal was great host. We communicated via txt and met him in person. He was very helpful with driving directions, operating instructions, and advice on what to do and where to go in the area. -Thank You!

    Ryan2012-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time with Hal at the Tiny Guest House, he is super cool, knows a ton about the area and has great suggestions. The house is adorable and eclectic and the view from the "lawn" on the green roof is superb. Go up there for a nightcap and take in the lights of Seattle. Hal was very generous and invited us to his place for a jam session since we are all musicians. So much fun! I strongly encourage you to take the bikes out for a spin, we took them all the way down to the ferry and to Bainbridge Island and it was one of the best days of the trip. Also the shower is surprisingly luxurious, don't let the logistics scare you off.

    Melissa 2013-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay with Hal. The TTGH is a child's dream and our eight year old son could have moved in without hesitation. Hal is gracious and accommodating; morning fruit, baked goodies and an assortment of yogurt, fruit and tea for our first morning. The shower is perhaps in my top ten showers ever!! Hal hasa new memory foam mattress topper for the garage door bed making it super cozy and comfortable. If your lucky you might witness Hal playing guitar and singing and it's beautiful, melodic and inspired music . Yay teeny tiny. A great weekend clubhouse!! And Fremont is our favourite place ever- Sunday street market is a must!

    Georgia2013-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay! The "guestyhouse" was exactly as you see in the pictures- quaint and perfectly sized for the three of us to sleep comfortably. Hal was extremely accommodating and gave us points of interest for the area and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The location was great for walking around the Fremont area and was close to public transportation, which fit our Seattle getaway schedule nicely. I definitely recommend staying here- we chose this over other options and are glad we did!

    Miriam2014-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in Hal's guesthouse was the perfect first tiny house experience. The house is tucked away and you gotta be good at reading instructions to find it. (This was fun for me because it was more of an adventure!) The house is beautifully constructed, cozy, whimsical, and full of thoughtful essentials. There are 2 options for where to sleep - I would recommend the loft bed, so you can climb out to the roof when the sun goes down. The bathroom and shower combo is small, but extremely clean, efficient and easy to use. This tiny house was like a writer's retreat to me, because of the solitude (even with surrounding guests) and the working typewriter. Hal was a super friendly host and provided me with a full rundown of the many activities and eats in the neighborhood. This property is 1 minute away from the main happening street in Fremont, and the Fremont bridge, so the location was top notch. Can't wait to come back to Seattle to stay here.

Queen size bed. Warm and Quite. Easiest commute in town - From SeaTac airport to our place, 20 minutes via LINK, the light rail, and from our place to downtown Seattle is a 15 minute ride. From the station to my house only takes 3 min by foot.
Most easy commute location in town. Warm and safety place to stay. 住家安靜,安全又舒適. 每 7 分鐘"輕軌電車"去機場或進城, 交通便利, 四通八達
  • The Lius greeted me and my friend upon arrival. Julian's wife insisted on helping me with my luggage up the stairs, which I really appreciated. The room is very clean and the bed comfortable. The location is convenient, as it is easy to access the I-5 to go downtown. I would recommend staying here.

    Selena2014-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house, very clean and welcoming. Super plushy bed and just minutes from downtown Seattle.

    Redhanded2015-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • The place is right next to the lightrail giving easy access to downtown, and there's a new PCC within 5 minutes walking distance. The room and bathroom was clean and Julian is nice and helpful!

    Victoria2015-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great time in Julian's place. Both he and his wife are super friendly, making me feel like home. The location is really near Link station as described, and the room is clean and comfortable. Julian cooked breakfast for me and drove me to Lake Washington since I travelled alone. Overall a pleasant experience! I definitely will stay here again!

    Vicky2015-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Julian and his wife are very nice people they let us leave our backpacks on our last day so we didn't have to carry all our stuff all day. The room we stayed was clean, furnished (very comfortable bed, I didn't want to get up:) They have a "no cooking" rule so we couldn't use the kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend the place to travelers.

Historic renovated studio apartment that has 98 walk score and is only a 10 minute walk to Pike Place Market. It's a corner unit apartment with 13-foot ceiling and has all the essentials. Top Pot Donuts (best Seattle donuts) is right next door!
This studio condo is in downtown Seattle right in the center of everything! You'll be within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, EMP Museum, and Pacific Science Center.
Belltown is a great neighborhood and is at the heart of everything. Pike Place market, Space Needle, EMP Museum, and Chihuly Garden and Glass are all within walking distance.
  • I use Kumail's place for a consultant my company flew in. It was easy for him to get to and he said it was roomy and clean. He had a good experience.

    Sarah2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in Kumail's place. A short walk to the Space Needle, Pike's Market, Downtown, and awesome restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again!

    Emily2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Kumail's studio apartment was clean and in a fabulous location. Arriving and departing were very easy.

    Carly2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable apartment in very walkable location. Only problem was lack of air conditioning but there was a fan and it just happened to be unusually hot for Seattle when we were there. Overall really enjoyed our stay though!

    Daniel2017-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • The unit is located in a great location. Walking distance to a lot of great local spots and close to the transit system. The unit itself is very minimalistic, however, it worked great for us since we were out the whole time exploring the city.

    Bobbie2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is clean, quiet, and organized. It is very easy to find and Kumail offered very clear instruction regarding how to open the door. It is located in downtown areas. Space Needle, shopping malls, Pike market, and etc. are all within walking distance, which is very convenient. I highly recommend this studio as a great place to stay in Seattle.

We are located just a two blocks from Key Arena and the Seattle Center. It's about a twenty minute walk to downtown or to the water front. We are also right on a bus line so it's easy to get around. This is a one bedroom apartment located on the second floor, there are 23 steps to. The apartment will provide all the bedding, towels etc and basic cooking equipment. Let me know if you will need parking, I have limited parking available and if I can, I am happy to reserve it for you.
At the bottom of Queen Anne's sought after West slope; is my charming Uptown apartment. The building was originally built in 1898, has been has been updated with a modern and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave and small oven and stove, full size refrigerator and freezer as well as a washer/dryer unit. This apartment is located on the second floor, there are 23 steps to the second floor, and has a South facing front door and is bright with a lovely cross breeze when with open windows. There is wireless internet, flat screen t.v and a Bluetooth radio in the Living room. In the bedroom you will find a Queen sized bed, I-phone docking clock radio, two side tables with drawers, long closet with luggage rack and hanging organizer. We have limited parking, for compact cars only. Please check availability with me when you are booking. Parking, when available, is $5 per day. We are just one and half blocks to Key area, The Seattle Center. We're a perfect location for the Storm Games and The Key's concerts, Pacific NW Ballet and the Seattle Opera at McCaw Hall. And an easy walk to SAM Olympic Sculpture Park and many unique shops and restaurants. Just a 5 minute bus rid to the Pike Place Market and Down Town and five more minutes to the SODO neighborhood and the Mariner's Baseball , Sounders Soccer and Seahawk's football games as well as historic Pioneer Square and the Seattle Waterfront. We are right on several bus lines and just a short walk to the monorail West Lake Mall and a quick ride connecting to the new light rail to SeaTac airport. Because this apartment is in the city and is so close to the Seattle Center, you will naturally hear some street noise. I have lived here for almost ten years and I have renters that have lived in the building for many years so the city sounds hasn't made much of an impact however if you are sensitive to noise you may wish to look for a listing further out of the downtown area. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me, I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Thank you for taking the time to read my listing.
We are located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood also known as the Uptown neighborhood. This is a vibrant neighborhood with the Seattle Center and lots of access to live theater, playhouses, dance, opera, the Seattle International Film Festival, Teatro Zanzanni (a marvelous restaurant and cabaret), and there is Bumbershoot and Folk Live festivals. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, lounges, stores and lots of entertainment, this is a busy neighborhood. On the top of Queen Anne hill you will find a charming few blocks of restaurants and stores on Queen Anne Avenue the rest of the hill is mostly residential homes and apartments. One of the best views of Seattle is from Kerry Park on Highland Drive heading up the hill on Queen Anne Avenue. The lower part of Queen Anne is about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown. One of the best parts about living in this neighborhood is how easy it is to walk to just about anything you are interested in or if you don't feel like walking, there are lots of busses.
  • Serina provided a fabulous place for our stay in Seattle. Located within 15 minutes walking distance to downtown, the apartment was clean, spacious and was equipped with everything we needed. Serina was very prompt in her communication and even left us a pastry on our arrival which we thoroughly enjoyed! Could not recommend this apartment enough!

    Jessica2015-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great trip, great apartment! We loved the neighborhood and loved the cozy place. There's a Keurig coffeemaker! And a washer/dryer! First time I've ever gone home from a vacation with a suitcase full of clean clothes. :) Thanks for having us!

    Suzanne2014-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Serina's apartment was very centrally located and extremely clean. She was very helpful with directions on how to get to and from the airport. I highly recommend her for any type of visit!

    Rachel2014-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Serina made us feel very welcome leaving a box of yummy pastries for us in arrival. There was information about the area in the apartment and leaflets about local activities too. The apartment was spacious and more than comfortable for 2. There was no air con which meant we were a little warm on an evening and leaving the windows open meant it was too noisy (we're not used to any traffic, it's probably not that bad) The location is good for exploring if you don't mind a bit of walking, we easily managed it and didn't catch any busses. The area felt quite safe as its close to Space needle and on a main road and there wasn't any homeless people hanging around. Serina gave us good instructions about how to find her place and how to get to/from the trona station and airport, seamless trip, thanks

    Claire2015-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Serina's apartment is conveniently located and the parking spot was great. The check-in process was extremely convenient and we didn't have to worry about apartment keys the entire stay. I did laundry, so it was a plus to have the in-unit washer/dryer. Cute and cozy apartment in a convenient location for a great price. The additional fans in the unit were needed and great that they were provided as it was very warm temperatures during our stay. Serina was very responsive and helpful prior to / during the stay. Would recommend her apartment!

    Melissa2014-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • The location was ideal for our weekend stay in Seattle. I was in town to run a road race that started just three short blocks away. In addition to its extremely convenient location, the apartment was incredibly comfortable and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed including K-cups and a Kuerig machine. That's even better than our set up at home! The bed was comfortable too so I was able to get a good night's rest before the race. Serina welcomed us warmly and then kept a low profile. She was available when we had questions, a wonderful hostess. We enjoyed all the thoughtful details. Thank you so much!

    Lisa2015-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable and very well equiped. Location close to downtown.

    Frederic2012-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! We just loved Serina's apartment! It was clean, cute and perfect! Her spot is amazing, you can walk anywhere. We rented a car, and quickly realized that because of the location we didn't really need to as it is such a pedestrian friendly area and city! Serina was a great host and got back to me quickly with any questions that I had. Serina's place had everything we needed! I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Seattle.
