A large lake with swans and a garden with perennial flowers, more like an English garden. Plenty of walks with stunning views over the garden. ”

“Chenonceau Château has to be THE château to visit whilst in the Loire Valley. The "Ladies Chateau" is elegantly straddles the River Cher. There are stunning bouquets of flowers in each of the rooms and the kitchens are remarkable. Outside there are formal French gardens, the royal vegetable garden, a labyrinth and during the summer you can hire a rowing boat and go under the château! Son et lumière performances in July and August.”
