  • The room was quiet and very comfortable. The house is a bit remote, but we absolutely loved the surrounding (Website hidden by Airbnb) beautiful! And Karen was so fun to talk with! It was a wonderful experience.

  • Where do I begin? Karen was the absolute best. She really makes you feel like you are at home. Her house is located less than two hours from Yellowstone and has an incredible view of the Tobacco Root Mts. This area is a sanctuary for people who love the outdoors and want a quiet & safe place to stay. We were only able to stay a night but enjoyed getting to know Karen over a glass of wine, she is wonderful. It felt as though we were catching up with an old friend. We recommend this warm & welcoming home to anyone and would love to stay here again!

  • Karen´s place is a cozy house surrounded by a big garden. The next neighbour is far away, so you can enjoy and relax in the beautiful nature. There is no internet, but if you plan ahead, that´s no problem. Karen is uncomplicated and lovely. She even gave us some delicious selfmade cookies for the road.

  • Karen's place was a nice stop on our trip - the room was comfortable and the views from her property were amazing. Just a few minutes outside town, but it was exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for.

  • Jane is fun to talk with and has a wealth of knowledge of the area. Her home is lovely and mostly new in the interior.

    Tom2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a welcome find Jane and her beautiful home were! Clean, comfortable, welcoming, and full of class are just a few of the words that come to mind. After a late arrival, Jane shared some delicious beets while helping me get settled. She was the perfect measure of interested without being intrusive and I so enjoyed our conversation. She offered me practical advice about the area, and even lent me her daughter's bicycle for a spin! What a wonderful (and affordable!) experience. I highly recommend a stay at Jane's.

    Sarah2015-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Jane's was everything we had hoped for! Our room was clean cozy comfortable and private. Jane was warm, welcoming and fun to visit with when we find ourselves in the common space at the same time. Thank you Jane.

  • Jane is by far a superior hostess. She went out of her way to make our stay simply perfect. Her home is truly the best place we have stayed, and we have stayed at many, because she was so amenable.

  • Jane was lovely, and went out of her way to make sure that we felt at home (even though we didn't inquire about the room until the day of). Her house is beautiful and in an adorable little town, convenient to all sorts of adventuring possibilities (Yellowstone, Glacier, etc).

    Claire 2015-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jane hosted us after we've been driving for 9 hours straight and it was such a pleasure meeting her and a relief to arrive to her place. The cozy British atmosphere and the way she took care of us after our long trip made us feel at home.

  • Our group (two couples traveling together) were absolutely thrilled with our stay here. All of us would strongly recommend it to others visiting the area. It provides a comfortable and welcoming home-away-from-home that is just fantastic. Basically, for the normal price of one hotel room, you get a full first-floor apartment with two bedrooms, two full baths, a spacious and comfortable living room, a large fully furnished kitchen, and an enclosed front porch. What thrilled us: --Comfort and style of the apartment, which was very tastefully decorated and evoked bits of the old west while providing all the modern comforts. -- Privacy of two separate bedrooms, one for each couple (or one for parents, one for kids). -- Being able to wake up on different schedules and not bother each other. -- Being able to wake up late and have coffee in the kitchen in our PJ's at 11 AM with total privacy -- Being so close to town (a few steps from the diner, for example) -- A bookshelf filled with a stellar array of books. (We may come back and spend a week just relaxing and reading the books there.) What an awesome, wide-ranging collection of books! -- Being able to sit on the enclosed porch to make loud phone calls without disturbing the others in our party -- Having a true home to use as a home base for wide-ranging adventures in some of the most beautiful country in the world. Communications from Mack were great. We had no complaints in any area. One thing to be aware of is that while one of the bedrooms has an adjoining private full bathroom, the second bedroom uses a bathroom that is off of the kitchen. We were in the second bedroom, and found this to be no problem at all. Regardless, both bathrooms are spacious, modern, and luxurious. That's all I can think of. This is as good as any Airbnb experience we have had. Thank you so much, Mack. We will return soon.

  • We walked in to a beautiful and quaint apartment. It was spotless and absolutely adorable. The town is small but numerous restaurants to choose from and a grocery store too. We hope to stay here again when we visit our son at MSU. This was our first experience with AirB&B. Not one disappointment at all.

    Mistie2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great space. 2 bedrooms 2 baths spacious . No grocery store in town. Near Historic Sacajawea Hotel

  • Had a blast staying at the remodeled hotel. A great mix of old and new. We will stay there again!!

    Ryan2016-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • The kitchen was extremely well equipped. It had more than adequate pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The appliances were new or near new and all functioned well. It was apparent that the house went through a fairly recent renovation. The house was very clean and was well equipped with bath towels etc. The host is a plumber and all the plumbing was new and functioned well. I would stay again in a heartbeat, the house was an excellent choice for a stay.

  • Beautiful home and BEAUTIFUL location. We stayed with our 1 year old daughter and had an amazing time. Karen was so thoughtful and provided a baby gate and toys for our 1 year old to play with. She has the most beautiful yard and a fire lit right out back. The bed was so comfortable.. I don't remember the last time we slept that well.. all three of us! Just a peaceful well set up quiet area. We would stay again and hope to have the chance to very soon

  • Karen's place is very thoughtfully decorated and landscaped and Karen is an awesome hostess. She is available when you want to talk and/or have questions and she respects your privacy when you want to be alone. Her property is beautiful and there is plenty of space to roam and write postcards or watch the sun set. We enjoyed a very easy and relaxing stay and even met some of her awesome friends. Oh, and the cookies! Her house always smells like delicious cookies! Yes, she will leave some for you to enjoy. All in all, a wonderful stay. We highly recommend. Her home is conveniently located between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks and close to hip Bozeman and quaint Three Forks. Check out the Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks for a casual bite in the restaurant downstairs, great burgers, or a fancier dinner upstairs. Enjoy!

Not only is Lisa's home an amazing property with great views, beautiful landscaping, hot tub, outdoor fireplace, and a whole wing for guests. But, Lisa was a great host who set up activities for us and cooked breakfast every morning! We had no idea it would be this luxurious and relaxing (it felt like a retreat) when booking, but were very happy when we showed up! A great host, great home at a really great price!

  • Linda went above and beyond our expectations. She is a true professional and extremely hospitable. We would recommend Linda to any of our friends and family. If you're looking for a place to stay in Montana, book her retreat ASAP and you will not be disappointed!

    Sam2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Bill were incredible hosts. We felt welcome the second we walked in the door. It was more like staying with friends. The room was comfy with high quality linens and towels. She even had bathrobes for us to use and put cookies in our room. The breakfast she prepared in the morning was delicious and we sat on the patio looking over the valley to Bozeman. They had bocci ball and croquet for us to use and on the lawn and we soaked in the hot tub after a long day of horseback riding looking at the stars. This was a wonderful retreat and I would stay here again and again. I highly recommend Mossy Rock Retreat and I look forward to staying there again!

    Chelsea2014-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Bill were wonderful! Definitely the best AirBnB that my husband and I have ever stayed at! A little out of town, but a beautiful location and such nice hosts!

    Marjorie2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Bill were amazing hosts! Linda was incredibly helpful before the trip helping us to book excursions and finding places that my wife and I could eat (dietary restrictions). She stayed up late when our flight was delayed and welcomed us with a smile on her face even though it was after midnight. The room was large and comfortable and the amenities made us feel like we where in a 5 star hotel! The breakfast was fit for king and the view was the amazing! The hot tub was just what the doctor order after a long day! Bill's navigational skills were crucial in the success of our travels! We not only made great time, but also saw some of the hidden gems that Montana has to offer. We are now trying to figure out how we can get back to Montana as quickly as possible.

    Thomas2016-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The Mossy Rock Retreat was beautiful and Linda is an amazing hostess. It was a great time to experience Montana. I was awed by the beauty of her home. I saw every kind of wildlife from deer to the American eagle. She was very accommodating to my nutritional needs. Linda is a wonderful source of information on the surrounding areas. I highly recommend staying at this property.

    Beth2014-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Mossy Rock Retreat was everything we imagined it to be from the details Linda posted in her advertisement on Airbnb. Linda, and her husband Bill, were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcomed. They offered suggestions/directions as we tried to take in as much of Montana as we could in the week we visited. Their home offered the privacy we expected and yet a homey atmosphere when we sat at the breakfast table each morning. Breakfast was offered from our choice of items off a list. Thank you Linda, for the hot fresh coffee and wonderful toasted bread assortments each day. Sitting in the hot tub under the Montana Sky after a snowstorm was romantic and exhilarating. It was a real pleasure to hike in the neighborhood, watch the wildlife, and drive the switchback roads that lead to your "retreat." Thank you so much!

3 bedroom 2 bath home in quaint Manhattan, MT. Just a short 20 miles away from beautiful Bozeman, MT, this home has two beds ( 1 queen and 1 thick queen air mattress), a kitchen, living room, movie room and fenced in backyard.

  • Very nice place. Newer than it looks in photos. Very elegant, simple and functional floor plan. Perfect for 2. Would sleep 3-4 at least. Located about 20 minutes from Bozeman. Nearby Headwaters park was a great surprise. Would recommend for day trips to Yellowstone and night life in Bozeman for sure.

    Jeff2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • We were glad to find a place to stay in Manhattan that could sleep 3 people. It's a bit of a drive (about 15-20 minutes) outside of Bozeman if that's where you need to be. But since we needed to be in Manhattan it was perfect for us. The location is in the "new subdivision" but we found it easy to walk to the main street and into the older areas. There are sidewalks that lead from the house right into town. It's a cute house that is decorated nicely and we loved the couch. We also loved the open floor plan. Driveway parking in the rear can fit two cars. We'd recommend this house to anyone!

    Kevin-Dan2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • This house is incredible to stay at, a beautiful, clean home with a fireplace to sit infront of on rainy days and a full kitchen for use. Kris was an amazing host and very quick at getting back to me with my questions, and provided local recommendations for activities and food.

    Mackenzie2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and comfortable home with close proximity to Bozeman. Great kitchen to do some of our own cooking. We enjoyed opening the windows at night for the cooler temps and didn't mind the train going through town at all. We're accustomed to closing up the house first thing in the morning to trap all the cool air in the house and found it comfortable when we returned because of that. Kris was a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Bonnie is genuinely concerned her guests are happy and she has put some careful thought into the space she rents. Modern amenities and Montana touches make this a bit of home while you travel.

  • Thinking about a trip to Belgrade or Manhattan Montana for any outdoor experiences? The place to stay for charm and ease will be Bonnie's cottage. You have your own entrance, parking space, claw-footed tub, and quietness to just relax on your vacation. My two children and I stayed at Bonnie's cottage for my God-daughter's high school graduation and the cottage was an excellent fit. There were plenty of towels, coffee, and toothbrushes (great since we forgot ours)! We would love to stay there again!

    Anita2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • This location is great if you are just looking for a place to sleep. We had three adults stay and it was a pretty tight fit, however, as mentioned we were only there to sleep. The home has one queen bed and a sofa that pulls out and can seep one person. The rental is also attached to the owner's home and it has very thin walls as we could hear the owner walking & talking on the phone in the morning (which wasn't a huge deal for us). We were in the area to visit (Website hidden by Airbnb) our only drawback was that it is a decent drive out to Manhattan. You wouldn't want to go back and forth through out the day. All in all it was a very affordable stay and the rental was clean. Bonnie made sure we had coffee for the Keurig, the wifi password, and instructions on the T.V.

  • Stayed here while attending a festival in nearby Bozeman. This was a very cozy and private spot to come back to and rest up in the evenings. The space was very tidy, well-organized and had a great mixture of modern appliances with a rustic, old-fashioned feel. Check-in information was clearly communicated, as well as locating the fridge, wi-fi password and TV instructions. Would certainly stay again.

    Alex2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • The room and space in general was quite lovely. A perfect amount of privacy and peacefulness. I would absolutely stay again the next time I visit family in the area.

  • Bonnie has put a lot of thought into making her guests comfortable. It is newer, cozy and enjoyable. Great for one party, but it's also set up to be very private for any additional person. Your secluded corner of the yard is treed and lush. I love the sound of trains and you do hear them. There was no noise between the units except a bit of cheerful bird chirping. Great stay!

  • We had an awesome time staying at Ashley's apartment in Manhattan, MT. I called her once, on our first day, asking how to work the TV; she responded immediately and was super helpful, and she made it clear that she was available if we ever had any more questions, even though we didn't. The space is cozy, with a really comfortable bed. The heater and hot water both work great in cold weather, and the kitchen has all the proper amenities. Also, the internet is really fast and reliable.

  • Absolutely wonderful host! LeVay made us feel welcome from the first message, our arrival and our final departure. LeVay's special attention to the details really made our stay special. Special coffee from Montana (excellent), welcome snacks, and décor with additional little hints that we were in Montana! The layout allowed guests to gather in the main areas (kitchen, dining and living room) while each bedroom (including separate bathrooms) allowed guests separate privacy when needed. The location provides for quiet reflection while still maintaining 21st Century contact if needed (excellent Wi-Fi access). This has been the most superb Airbnb stay I have experienced. Thank you LeVay!!

  • Boyfriend and I stayed at Jane's this past week and we absolutely adore her! She was soooo welcoming. She left ice water in the room and brochures for nearby attractions. She showed us how to use her coffee machine and left out bagels for us in the morning. Except we start our day late and missed that. The home is walking distance to EVERYTHING! Soo convenient! We cannot get over how kind she is! I seriously recommend everyone visiting Three Forks to stay with her! Thanks for opening your home to us, Jane! I'm looking forward to see you in California!

    Johanne2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • I had a ball at Janes place, she is very welcoming and very social which is perfect after a long day on the road. The room is good value, it is comfortable and private and the wifi is good. I loved being able to catch up on my laundry and emails and take a nice hot shower, and chat with Jane who is a very easy going host. Three Forks was unexpectedly nice to hang out in, and the surrounding area is lovely especially Pony Montana! If you need a little break from the road this is the perfect place to do it. Thanks Jane

    sally2015-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Once we were settled into Jane's home she welcomed us with tea. We engaged in some conversation and her British accent is delightful. That evening while we drifted off to sleep we caught a whiff of the aroma of Jane baking scones for breakfast. The next morning while we were on our way down the highway, once again we appreciated the uniqueness of Airbnb.

    Mary2016-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jane was able to accomodate me for a same day stay, which was much appreciated. She was a gracious host, met me upon arrival and spent some time conversing. The room was indeed comfortable and clean, as was the rest of her beautiful historic home. Three Forks is a quiet community, with historic charm and many bar/restaurant options within walking distance. Jane even provided a delicious coffee cake and tea for breakfast. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

    Mara2015-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jane was a fantastic host. She is super nice, accommodating, and really kind. Her place is very comfy, cozy, and clean. We are on a long road trip and her comfy bed and hot shower were such a treat! She was very flexible to work with and easy to talk to. She was kind enough to let us do our laundry there, and use her fridge to store our things. She went way above and beyond any host can be expected - and made us delicious coffee cake! Really an outstanding host, and a fantastic place. And the house is pretty centrally located, very close to main street. Do yourself a favor if you need to be in this area and stay with Jane!

    Narayana2015-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Jane was very pleasant and gracious. She showed us around her home and we had a nice visit with her. We enjoyed the town of Three Forks also.

    Gail 2015-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jane is simply the best hostess. Her home is beautiful, her attention to detail is stellar, and her grace is wonderful. Homemade coffee cake on english bone china, laughs and conversation, selfless assistance-Jane is the best. Crystal water glasses in the bedroom, soft fresh towels, breakfast on the deck, relaxation on the living room couches, walk to delicious food at the hotel Jane used to own. Five star plus. Unparalleled.

    Jack2015-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jane is such a friendly and welcoming woman. Our bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of room and a spotless bathroom. We even had homemade scones for breakfast! This address is just blocks away from the Sacajawea Hotel; we were able to walk everywhere.

  • Karen was a lovely host! We really enjoyed her space. It was gorgeous and quiet out in the country. The bed was so comfy and the sheets were amazing. She was super quick to reply, we were looking for a last minute place to sleep while we were traveling through and she communicated so quickly it was really great and stress free. Also, Karen greeted us with a beer in a frosted mug and a homemade cookie.

  • Karen's house is a wonderful place to stay ! Quiet, nice, the yard is great and the kids loved it. We did not see Karen, but she called to see if everything was fine. I highly recommend this place for a vacation in Montana !

    Marie2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • We can't wait to come back to Montana and stay at Karen's place! She thought of everything for us to have a great stay. She blew up a kiddie pool for the kids, baked us cookies (one for everyone), stopped by to make sure we were happy, and gave us recommendations for restaurants. It felt like we were visiting a friend and grandparent! She even put out toys for the kids. What a nice person and a great stay! And my husband and I loved that it was just us. Your neighbors are horses and cows and amazing sunsets! Her house is a definite must.

  • This was our first real experience with airbnb and it couldn't have been a better experience. Linda was a wonderful host. This home is absolutely beautiful and so is the view from it. My kids and I truly enjoyed our stay, and Linda's warmth and friendliness made us feel as though we were truly guests at her home. We particularly enjoyed playing croquet in the yard and being able to enjoy the fantastic view from the hot tub. If you want to experience the area near Bozeman MT, this is an awesome choice of stay.

  • Linda was very welcoming and warm and clear about the space provided. The space, including hot tub, is AMAZING. Beautiful, restful, off the beaten path, so artistically decorated. Clearly, Linda has high standards and loves offering the best to people. The bedrooms situated with privacy away from the rest of the house; the breakfast was to our dietary needs and generous; Linda was available and charming. My nephew's review might be : oh, gosh! He told everyone at the event we were attending how amazing this place is! Thanks, Linda, for a relaxing and inspiringly beautiful retreat from our retreat! Nyss

  • Linda, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful ranch home! My son really enjoyed this diverse experience and called this his "home ranch"! You are a thoughtful and gracious host. Cheers to you and hope to see you again!

  • Linda and Bill were some of the most open hearted and accommodating hosts ever. We were continually and happily surprised at the setting and ambiance of their beautiful home, and their joy in providing an incredibly relaxing girls weekend. The space is well designed and decorated, incredibly comfortable, and also quiet and peaceful. Just the ticket! Breakfast was more than expected and delicious. The general ambiance of Mossy Rock is one of comfort, calm and tranquility. We could not have been happier with our time there and are so grateful to Linda and Bill for all the attention to detail, big and small. Thank you for the perfect Mom/Daughter weekend getaway!

    Jenne & Danny 2015-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Utterly brilliant. Linda and Bill go out of their way to provide an absolute luxurious experience in the beautiful mountains of Montana. The view, combined with the amazing breakfast, the nicest bed in the world and an hot tub in the mountainside will add up to as near as makes no difference, perfection. The attention to detail which Linda puts into the extensive service is something you will not find easily anywhere else. I might add that I've been to quite some hotels in the past and I can think of very few that had entailed this level of comfort. Mind you, if they did, they did so for about 10 times the price of this Air BNB. Most hotels feel like a room, this feels like home.

    Reynier2015-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • It was an amazing stay at Linda and Bill's. They are so hospitable and open-minded. The view from their house into the valley is worth the drive up there a thousand times. Their place was the best one of all the Air BnBs and hotels we stayed at during our four-week long trip. Thank you for everything!!!

    Jan Henning2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Linda was an amazing host with the most beautiful home! We were greeted with a tour and then offered freshly baked cookies, wine and a cheese plate. Linda was more than happy to provide recommendations and checked up on us periodically to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The room that we stayed in was so cozy; the perfect place to come home to after a long day of exploring Yellowstone. I would highly recommend Linda's home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. I certainly hope to be back again someday!

  • My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at mossy rock retreat. Linda and Bill were excellent hosts; they were extremely welcoming. We rented the entire apartment which was nice and private. The apartment is gorgeous and comfortable, exactly what we needed after a few weeks of hiking. Also the views are amazing. Linda gave some excellent suggestions of things to do in the local area which we took advantage of. She also put on an excellent breakfast which set us up for the day. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

The views are spectacular! If you are looking for a quiet get-away near Bozeman, Mossy Rock can't be beat.

  • We had a wonderful visit at the Mossy Rock Retreat! The hosts were very sensitive to our needs and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were kind and friendly. Their place was clean and beautiful. It was fun to feel like we were really getting away from the rush of life in such a calm and peaceful setting. Breakfast was wonderful too.

    Naomi2015-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Bill were so warm and hospitable to our group. They had breakfast with us every morning that Linda prepared to our liking. She went above and beyond providing information on where to go, what to do and more. I feel like we got to know Bill and Linda well even though we had a short stay because we had plenty of opportunities to chat. The house was beautiful and the views from the yard and the hot tub were absolutely incredible. The home was spotless and Linda was always available to help or provide anything we might need. Zoe, the pup, was also a very sweet addition to our stay.

    Emily2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Mossy Rock Retreat for a full week as we enjoyed the area and took my son to college. Linda and Bill were delightful hosts! Linda goes above and beyond to make everyone comfortable (examples: leaving a bottle of special lavender bath with a note after our long drive, fixing breakfast every morning and accommodating my gluten sensitive husband, making sure we had a pot of coffee and fresh fruit before our early trip to the airport, taking my daughter and I to the gym in town, etc). I really could go on and on! We had a group from ages 19 to 73 and all of us thought Linda and Bill were wonderful hosts!

    Jessica2015-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The views are amazingly beautiful! Linda is very thoughtful & responds quickly. It is more like a bed and breakfast not your own private home. Nice place!

    Joanne2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Be prepared for 5 star treatment! The place is gorgeous and immaculately kept. Linda and Bill are so kind. Breakfast is delicious, our whole family loved it. We were so comfortable, had so much room, and our stay could not have been more perfect!

    Erin2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • If you are in need of de-stressing, this is the place to be! Great views and easy access to lots of extracurricular activities such as fishing (right dow the road!), hiking (Palisade Falls or Lewis and Clark Caverns), riding horses, etc. Linda and Bill were wonderful hosts. She put up the air conditioning in our room because it was getting hot and being a native Montanan, that was a rare plus! The breakfast was delicious and the conversations were great. We will definitely come back here.
