Bedroom has New, natural latex, queen size bed, High thread-count Kirkland sheets, down comforter/pillows. Cute french-style windows. Viga ceilings with 4 skylights throughout. Stacking washer/dryer. Off-street parking. Courtyard with fruit trees and wrought-iron furniture. Couch folds out to a full size bed. Quiet, comfortable, with that special Santa Fe charm. Pet-friendly! ( $20. pet cleaning fee required) Free Internet--and it's fast (approx. 3Mb) Cable TV on 32" Samsung. There are 3 trek bicycles for use during the months between May and November. They are shared between the guests in Studio C and Amor. While I do my best to see that they are in working order, I cannot promise that in each instance. Helmets provided. Also, guests must sign a waiver before riding. Walk to The Teahouse for breakfast, El Farol for entertainment, Geronimo for a special night out. Be inspired by a plethora of art galleries. Hiking trails, Audubon, Dale Ball trails are very near. The Alameda river trail is just across the park. Public transit is very close. Santa Fe Pick Up is located near the Tea House. It will take you to all the sites in Santa Fe, including the Railyard where you can go to the spectacular Santa Fe Farmer's Market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From there, you may also catch the Railrunner, the train that will take you South to Albuquerque and just beyond. The train is comfortable, and has wifi most of the way. What's within walking distance: Restaurants The Teahouse (8-9, all week) One block west on Canyon Rd. Great place for breakfast and for lunch. Enjoy your meal or tea on their pebble stone patio in the sunshine. The baked goods are usually very good. I also recommend the salads, one is a healthy meal in itself. The coffee drinks are a little better than average. Casual atmosphere, great magazine selection for design and fashion. They have the NY Times. New management as of late 2012--cleaner and better service than before. El Farol (website hidden) Less than two blocks west on Canyon Rd. . Check out their entertainment line-up, everything from salsa night, to blues bands, to trivia night (Monday). They have a tapas (small spanish plates) menu, as well as a dinner menu. A place to sit at the bar and get to know some people, visitors and residents alike Geronimos A little further down Canyon, well into the gallery area, is a fine dining restaurant. Don't be intimidated, go inside and check out the inner bar room. The friendly bartender will make you feel at home. There is a bar menu. For a more formal evening, the restaurant has excellent service and top-notch food and wine. The building is from the 1700's. Recommended. The Compound This is further by about two more blocks. I ate here once, and it was fine, but for the price and the atmosphere, the quality of the food-- I prefer Geronimo's. Cafe Artiste On Canyon rd, Nearly to Paseo de Peralta--about one mile from the Casita. Friendly, small, coffee and pastries, crepes? … Downtown Subscription Corner of Garcia St and Acequia Madre. Nice coffee shop with loads of magazines to peruse. Patio out back and in the front. The espresso drinks are decent. Lots of local people. It's a very nice walk: Go directly behind the casita onto Acequia Madre, and walk west. One of the most charming walks in Santa Fe! Keep going about one mile, passing an elementary school, until you see Garcia St. The coffee shop is on the corner in a strip with a nice book store, photography gallery (Photo-eye). Pick up the local paper out front. Kakawa Chocolate House. Going past Downtown Subscription, cross Paseo de Peralta, to this darling chocolate house with hand crafted chocolate creations. Trails The easiest trail is right across the street! Just go through Patrick Smith Park and the other side is Santa Fe River, which runs along East Alameda St. It follows the river (a creek-size river), more or less, all the way across town, to West Alameda St. and the Plaza area, and beyond. Recommended for a partial walk, shop, eat, day. Dale Ball Trails Drive to this trailhead area by going East on Canyon, turn RT , then quickly left at the Stop sign. Now you are on Upper Canyon Rd. Follow this road about one mile and you will see a small parking area on the left.
Historic homes and churches all around. The Park across the way is a lush, green treasure with cottonwoods and a small river. Of course, galleries! Lots of art to explore and inspire. Quiet and yet close to restaurants and art events.
  • Lisa's place was just perfect for our short visit to Santa Fe. It is central and a lovely layout. Even though it is winter, we stayed warm and cozy in this lovely cottage.

  • The home is very cozy and we enjoyed the fireplaces. I picked it because of the location. I wanted to be able to walk to things right out my door and Canyon Rd. is great for that. It's also a nice stroll to the Plaza.

    Georgia2016-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location! Lisa was a great host. The apartment was very clean. Very comfortable for two people. Central location and within walking distance to plaza.

  • The Besos Casita on Canyon Road in Santa Fe was perfectly lovely! Super clean and in a beautiful location, cozy, very comfy and quiet. The pictures and description are very accurate and I really appreciated Lisa's attention to detail with instructions for the place. The wine and chocolate were a nice touch that made us feel welcome and cared for. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again when I return to Santa Fe. Thanks Lisa!

  • Terrific host, amazing and comfortable place, totally cute and clean. Great location!

    Mary2012-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's spot on canyon road. It was perfect for us and our pup, as there was a great park right across the street. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Santa Fe. Thanks Lisa!

    Kathryn2015-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my company have had the pleasure of working with Lisa in the past. She's a wonderful host that has provided numerous accommodations that have been nothing less than top notch.

    Peter2015-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Lisa'a beautiful and charming casita for three nights during an April trip to New Mexico. The casita is rather roomy and it really felt like home for the time we were in Santa Fe. We were comfortable cooking, lounging, and sleeping. The casita is located off Canyon Road, which is the epicenter of the Santa Fe art galleries. We appreciated that it was located a healthy walk away from the center of town because it encouraged us to explore more neighborhoods. The casita is as well-decorated and fully stocked as the photographs indicate. We had a wonderful time staying here and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone passing through Santa Fe and looking for a perfect home base.

Delightful room in Adobe home 5 min by car from the Plaza and the Opera. Brick floors, high wood ceilings, light filled, use of the kitchen and 2 patios, shared bath with one other room, off street parking. House in pine covered foothills, 30 min to ski area.
This is a home filled with Asian antiques and textiles while still having the feel of a traditional Santa Fe house. The patios are secluded and surrounded with pines. The house is run with passive and active solar and has a water catchment system and greenhouse.
The neighborhood is one with large acre zoning and is filled with trees. The house is on 3 1/2 acres with an arroyo for walking. Hiking trails are within 15 min of the house.
  • Susan's house is just as beautiful as the pictures. The surrounding area is really lovely as well. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Santa Fe!

    Stephanie2016-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • Susan and Steve were great hosts! They provided a beautiful home as well as give newcomers to Santa Fe, like myself, insight on where to eat and what to do.

    Marie Khaena2017-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home and garden with easy access to everything.

    Jon2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately, we were unable to make it to the air bnb due to car problems. However, Susan was very engaged and responsive when trying to figure out a time to check in. We wish we could have stayed.

    Colleen2017-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts - helpful with recommendations for restaurants and walks in the neighborhood. It's a very peaceful neighborhood, which was refreshing after time in the bustling downtown square. You can see a million stars at the house. And I loved enjoying the morning sun on the roof deck. I would stay here again.

    Kate2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for such a pleasant and peaceful stay in your home! This place was so perfect because it is less than 10 minutes from downtown, but the home itself is so private and peaceful nestled up in the trees. My mom and I would definitely stay again :)

    Lindsey2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed with Asian and her partner for only one night and we did not interact much with them due to our tight schedule. During our brief visit we visited several great restaurants and museums at their recommendation. Moral of the story: listen to any advice they dish out on where to visit and/ or eat! They have great taste!

    Jamie2016-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Susan has a wonderful home with an amazing view of the landscape. They offered fresh towels, wifi, and even let me use their printer. Great service. One thing to note is AT&T has bad service in the area!

Beautiful luxury vacation home located in a gated community, 10 mins from the Santa Fe plaza.
  • Our family of 6 stayed for a week and it was a fantastic stay in every way. From the first communications with Nick, he was quick to respond and check in. He met us at the house and walked us through the amenities. The home itself is ideally located in a private gated neighborhood, a ten minute drive to Downtown. The house is beautiful, spacious, very clean, and decorated with gorgeous works of art. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, including a large dining table. All but one bedroom have walk in closets and large bathrooms. The beds are so comfy it was hard to get out of them in the morning. We had one small issue with internet and Nick was at the house within the hour to fix. Internet can be spotty if you have several children who like to be on their laptops simultaneously! Otherwise, it was a truly perfect place to stay.

    Michele2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Nick's place is incredible, even more beautiful than the photos. He's a fast communicator and even upgraded the internet while we were there. We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect.

    Chelsea2017-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home, very large, wonderful amenities. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Santa Fe. Excellent!

    Jan2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Nicks. He was accommodating and friendly. The house was better then the pictures. There were big bathrooms in 3 out of the 4 rooms. The beds were big and very comfy. The location was a little bit out of town but I️t was scenic and beautiful . We would definitely stay there again.

    Lindsay2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house, fully equipped. Tricky to find but you won't want to leave once you're there.

    Laurie2017-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Nick is a great host and has an awesome home. He was very responsive and offered his help if needed. The place was very well kept and clean, would definitely recommend.

Quiet 2-bedroom,-2-bath country home: kitchen; living room with fireplace, on 25 acres with ridgeline and river walks. Within easy distance of all area attractions; free parking space less than a block from the Santa Fe Plaza.
Freeman's Cottage is located on our 25 acres, with a much greater area around in which to hike and relax.
Lovely country setting, kind neighbors, walks in the arroyos and ridges, views from the hilltops and mountain vistas (and sometimes rainbows).
  • We were traveling with an rv, which made finding a place to accommodate both people and our large vehicle and fifth wheel a challenge. That's how we lucked in to finding These good people. We were just 15 minutes out of Santa Fe in a peaceful setting with cozy cottage and lovely hosts - who were part of our Santa Fe experience. They opened their arms to us like good friends, (though they were sensitive to just how much). We happened to have a medical emergency when there and they were grand. Native to Tesuque, full of helpful information, and charming hosts.

  • Margie and Stephen met us as we arrived, They showed us everything about the home and left a wonderful bottle of wine and a home baked brownie... huge brownie. It was like coming home for the holidays with family members that one really, really likes!

  • This was the ideal vacation home in all respects: while close to Santa Fe, we were far from the bustle of the city and had plenty of time and space to enjoy Tesuque's natural beauty. The place was large enough to comfortably accommodate our family of four, and the outdoor dining area was a definite plus. The entire home was nicely outfitted, and we cooked frequently in the real kitchen. Margie and Steve were kind, attentive, and helpful hosts. We will definitely plan to stay again.

    Laurie2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect place to stay for a visit to Santa Fe if you want all the amenities of home, easy access to the city but especially to the opera, and amazing, gracious hosts. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a brownie and Margie and Steve made sure to check in with us with an hour of our arrival at their cottage. The home also comes with a pass for a parking space downtown old Santa Fe which is very helpful as parking everywhere is metered. The home is far enough from the city that it's very peaceful and quiet. We never saw the neighbors. I highly recommend this spot if you want to have all the comfortable of home plus privacy and quietness.

    Amy2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Freeman’s Cottage is fantastic place for respite and quiet time with a loved one or family. A great place with ample room for relaxation. As we were there for a holiday weekend, we were supplied with more than just the basic amenities: Margie went so far as to decorate for the holiday. It was delightful and thoughtful. The home is very clean, the bedrooms are cozy, and there is a quaint kitchen with all necessary cooking tools. Bathrooms had towels and shower necessities, there were extra linens, and a fully stocked bookshelf. Truly a home away from home. We would definitely stay again!

Just minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza, Ski Basin Road, Santa Fe Opera, Bishop's Lodge Resort, Buffalo Thunder Resort, Casino and Golf Course, Ten Thousand Waves and easy highway access to Taos & Los Alamos. The 2 BR/1 Bath/Den single level, 4 beds accommodate 1-4 guests; close to hiking, the arts, culture and outdoor activities. We welcome those who want a comfortable & affordable place to get out and explore! In a wooded area with two private entrances; inquire: blocked days or extended stays
We live upstairs and you will be on the lower level of our home (with two separate, private entrances) which includes two bedrooms, a bathroom, a den and kitchenette (part of the second bedroom) with a small table and two stools, fridge, coffee maker and microwave only. Exercise equipment, laundry room and outdoor space to enjoy the wooded area are all on your level. Just a few minutes drive to the Santa Fe Plaza and Fort Marcy Sports Complex which includes an indoor pool, park and exercise facility. There is no smoking indoors or outdoors due to the forest environment. We want you to enjoy Santa Fe and try to provide an affordable and comfortable place to stay while you explore; nice but not a luxury spa hotel to just hang out all day. Please review photos and descriptions to plan your stay (we live upstairs, sleeping options - bedroom 1 w/ queen bed, bedroom 2 w/ full daybed, twin trundle and a sofa bed, den w/ a couch, no kitchen- fridge/microwave/Keurig only which are located in the second bedroom). Although private, this is the lower level of our home and it is not soundproof (we will hear muffled voices and running water and you will likely hear us upstairs). Please respect quiet hours from 10 pm - 6 am. To comply with licensing restrictions regarding the allowable number of reservations, we have days blocked before and after bookings. These days may be available; please inquire if you need to extend your stay.
You will be in a wooded area (absolutely no smoking indoors or outdoors) within the city limits. A quiet neighborhood - secluded yet convenient. We are 1/4 mile up a dirt road which may have snow and ice or mud during inclement weather.
  • We had a lovely stay! It was very spacious and the grounds were beautiful! The owners were very quick to respond and made sure out stay was very enjoyable! We would definitely go back again!

  • We enjoyed our stay at Diane's. It was located in a safe area about 10-15 minutes from most anything. The bed was very comfortable and there is lots of room. There were several great amenities including workout equipment, a hot tub, coffee, etc. Would recommend.

    Samantha2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in a lovely space.

    Shannon2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in Diane and Paul’s home for four weeks while relocating to Santa Fe for a new job, and I’m extremely happy that I did. I had an entire floor of the 3,748 sq. ft. home to myself, and the only time I saw my hosts was when they were working on their yard or out for a morning walk. They were gracious and accommodating hosts, had good suggestions on things to do and see in Santa Fe, and were very flexible with my unusual arrival and departure schedule. The property was a great location for me and good option for anyone visiting Santa Fe wanting to be close to downtown without paying hundreds of dollars a night to stay there. Downtown Santa Fe is just a five minute drive away, hiking and biking spots like the Atalaya Trail and Dale Ball Trails are 15 minutes away, and it is about 30 minutes to the Santa Fe ski area. Despite its closeness to downtown and others attractions, the 1.6 acre property is in a secluded and very quiet residential area. The large master bedroom had plenty of closet space in addition to a dresser and armoire, and the full bathroom was bigger than any I’ve ever had in a hotel. The newer washer and dryer just down the hall from the master bedroom was very convenient – it’s always nice to be able to do laundry on longer trips, and it’s handy for shorter ones as well. The private entrance opens the main room which is larger than the master bedroom and has a couch, kitchenette area, and another bed than can sleep two adults There was also a pullout bed that could fit for a few small children in the main room as well as closets at least as large as those in the master bedroom. As for the interior finishes, I really liked the southwestern feel. The dark red tile throughout the space made me feel slightly less bad about tracking in the unavoidable reddish dirt after hiking, making it easy to clean up and thankfully I wasn’t ruining someone’s carpeting. And even though the space is the lower level of their home, it still – even in winter – got a good amount of sunlight in the morning and evening. Don’t let the fact that this isn’t its own free-standing property deter you from staying here. I’m skeptical of promises that the space will be your own and you’ll have your privacy even though it is attached to or a separate floor of a home, but I had no problems with privacy.

  • Good, affordable place to stay in a location just a few minutes drive to the Plaza. Easy freeway access if you plan to do day trips. Nice outdoor area to have morning coffee, good as a home base--no frills. It was good and private, too. I didn't even see Diane, but she was responsive to any needs I would have had.

    Molly2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is lovely beyond measure. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of our stay. Diane and Paul were such gracious hosts and made us feel right at home. After running into them on their morning walk, they kindly offered to prepare the hot tub for us after our day of skiing. Looking out at the beautiful New Mexico landscape from their patio while the snow was falling was the perfect way to end the day. We cannot wait to return on our next getaway to Santa Fe!

    Summer2017-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the house and the hot tub. House is secluded from the activity of Santa Fe yet so close to stores and downtown (10min) Thank you!

    Karine2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Diane's home is definitely a wonderful and comfortable retreat! I was immediately impressed by the welcoming environment. The small touches, (waters, juices, yogurts, and light snacks in the refrigerator, coffee and oatmeal too!!) made us feel instantly at home. The location was very easy to find and it was very close to where I needed to be for work. There were 3 people in our party and we had plenty of room. We had access to workout equipment and a hot tub, so that only added to the great time! We stay in Santa Fe often for business, and will surely look into staying at Diana's place again.

This beautiful casita is located on 8 acres of land covered with pinons and junipers with eastern views of the Sangre de Cristo, northern views of the Tesuque valley, miles and miles of wonderful hiking trails. Feels like country but just 4 miles from a shopping center with 4 restaurants, groceries, & wonderful retail stores. Hike to 2 local restaurants. Great downhill skiing within 1/2 hour, cross country skiing out the door, entertainment and world class galleries 8 min.
World class opera just 4 min. down the road. Summer activities include wonderful hiking, river rafting, biking, world-class opera, and festivals of all kinds, including the International Folk Art Market in July and Santa Fe Indian Market in August. Winter activities include cross country skiing, and snowshoeing practically right out the door from first snow to March. Great downhill skiing is 30 minutes away.
  • I loved staying in this beautiful, scenic casita. It was awesome being so close to town while still being surrounded by nature. I will definitely be back!

  • Spirit in the Hills is a gem. Susan and Milton are delightful hosts, attentive to any request of their guests. The setting is beautiful, from the view of the Sangre de Christo Mountains from the front with breathtaking sunrises to watching the local animals and birds in a setting that you would not believe you are only 10 minutes from downtown Santa Fe. A perfect spot!

    Gloria 2017-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Milton and Susan are great hosts and they have a beautiful place to stay. If you like a quiet place with great views and only minutes from attractions, dining and nightlife, this is the place to stay. We enjoyed meeting them and their loveable dogs. It was also a good place to view birds!

  • Milton and Susan are delightful hosts and their casita is a wonderful place to relax yet still be close to Santa Fe, They give you your privacy yet are there if you need them. You can be in town in just a few minutes yet relax at night with amazing views. The casita is very comfortable and a great place to stay for a week or more. My only warning is that by day four you are searching on Zillow for real estate in Santa Fe and by the end of a week you have made appointments with real estate agents.

    sherry2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • What can we say? It was better-than-advertised and we were in awe when we walked in. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to be there in 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

  • Cozy place in a wonderful location with great views. Close to Santa Fe. Wonderful and friendly hosts.

  • This lovely casita is the perfect getaway! Beautifully decorated inside, breathtaking outdoor scenery and landscaping. The hosts provide everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel, and more. The location is in a peaceful and quite neighborhood, with shopping and restaurants less than 5 miles away. Milton and Susan are readily available, with great tips on restaurants and places to visit. We will definitely return to this beautiful casita and look forward to the next visit.

  • What I love most about this private casita is the location. It was a real treat getting to wake up in nature surrounded by mountains but still be a quick 5 minute drive from the Santa Fe Plaza! We appreciated all of the accommodations including toiletries and plenty of travel magazines to help plan our trip. There was even a coffee maker, hot plate, and fridge! What a great place. Thanks again!

  • Laura was a great host and her studio was a great spot to stay. The pictures and description are accurate. Laura responded very quickly to any emails we sent. Everything needed was in the studio. And, importantly in December, the heating worked really well.

    Benjamin2017-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Everything said about the view is absolutely true! It is wonderful to wake up feeling surrounded by nature and yet be within minutes of Santa Fe plaza. Laura really does know how to add those special extra touches that give you a warm fuzzy! (Like Starbucks hot cocoa with peppermint mix!) It is a delightful place to stay while in Santa Fe! Thanks Laura!

  • Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We loved the view and privacy!

    Julie2017-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had an incredible stay at Laura and Terry's studio. The views from the studio are unbeatable and the space itself is cozy and tidy. The location is right outside town but far enough away to feel peaceful and secluded. Where other hosts might cut corners Laura and Terry went above and beyond. The bed was comfortable and the comforter was cozy and warm. There's even a gas fireplace you can turn on and watch from the bed. The amenity that stood out most was the hospitality of Laura and Terry. They left a bowl of water and a treat for our dog. They let our dog play with theirs in their own backyard. They were friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. They left maps and instructions in the studio so guestscan plan hikes and outings. Their thoughtfulness is apparent and much appreciated.

  • After a day of museums and galleries we needed to feel at home in a quiet and comfortable spot. Laura's place was perfect for this. She and Terry are gracious hosts giving you all the privacy you need. We only stayed one night but could easily stay many. We will return.

  • The pictures posted do not do this home justice. It is a large and beautiful space and the views are incredible. It is really quiet, but a quick drive to Santa Fe. The restaurant down the road was incredible. Viewing the night sky from the many outdoor patios was incredible!

  • We cannot say enough great things about this beautiful home. Tremendous experience.

  • This perfectly Santa Fe-style house and property are spectacular! Perfect place for large groups/families. Major bang for your buck! Master bedroom has comfy King bed, huge bathroom, huge closet, and a large separate TV sitting area where kids slept in sleeping bags. 3 quaint bedrooms on the other side of the house, one en suite, 2 that share a full bath, all connected by a small sitting area with fold-out couch. The fabulous decor is clean and well-kept, combined with the artwork really gives the sense of being in the great southwest. More then generous with towels & linens. Fireplaces everywhere, inside and out, provided with plenty of piñon pine to burn, amazing views from the multiple patios. Basement area with full bath, mud room & washer/dryer. Giant kitchen with dining table and seating areas, commercial grade appliances, walk-in pantry- get ready to be wowed! A few small flights of stairs- up & down- throughout the property- be sure you’re fairly mobile. We had 3 small children and there were never any problems or safety concerns. Parking is generous for multiple vehicles. The property itself is gorgeous, such a fun area! Took walks on the multiple winding paths every beautiful morning, cool Tesuque market right down the road, very quick and easy drive to Santa Fe plaza. Had a small hiccup with booking Airbnb (not host’s fault) yet she bent over backwards to be sure and straighten everything out for us. Such a pleasure staying here- will definitely be booking again! Wish we could just move in permanently :)

The Santa Fe Opera is within a few miles, as is Four Seasons Encantado Resort. Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino, and several golf courses are within 10 miles or so. And finally...the best part. One of Tesuque Green's best feature includes experiencing New Mexico's glorious night time skies. • Home was wonderful and it was just as I expected. Just drive slow once you near the house, it's easy to miss when it's dark!

    Vera2017-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the location just outside the city. The home was pretty, cosy and very quiet. we enjoyed having a kitchen and a lovely porch overlooking a wood. loved having a fireplace for the nights. It was a perfect getaway.

    Iris2017-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a stylish, spotlessly clean guest house surrounded by natural beauty. We loved having a fire in the kiva fireplace in the bedroom and having coffee on the back deck, immersed in nature. Our daughter had a wonderful time getting to know Michelle's sweet dog and carrot-loving horse. It's about 10-15 minutes from Old Town SF, and a very easy drive. Michelle is a wonderful hostess. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

    Jennifer2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very private cottage, lovely hacienda style. Like new conition. Very near the Sante Fe Opera, makes for perfect weekend outing for the opera.

    Andrew2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very well located. Michelle had some nice touches to make the place a home. The king bed, the rocking chair and the fireplace made it so comfortable.

    Karan2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • It was a real treat to stay at Michelle's place. The interior decorating and small touches really gives you an authentic Santa Fe experience. Her beautiful bathroom with a claw foot bath was the cherry on top!

    Craig2017-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the location. Very private and safe. The shower was the only thing that was strange. The way the shower curtain was done it only covered half the tub and water went on the wall and ledge of the window. Everything else was so great. Would highly recommend.

    Kathy2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's casita was the highlight of our week exploring the Santa Fe/Taos are. The casita is very charming and was a peaceful and comfortable place to retreat to after full days of exploring. Michelle is a super host.

The proximity to the city and other resources were awesome. Our family vacation was made even better with this cozy wonderful adobe home on 5 acres. The star gazing, coyotes howling, warm fire in the fireplace and lots of family, food, and fun were soaked into the wood of this home! We greatly appreciate the use of this beautiful place, it was wonderful! Thank you so much, we will be back, The Johnson Crew

  • I cannot tell you with words how much we enjoyed this beautiful desert home. The decor, the aesthetics, the views, the welcome bottle of wine, the floor to ceiling rock shower, cooking open fire dinners, eating breakfast on the porch at sunrise, coffee by the adobe fireplace, and the unreal location that is so quiet and secluded but only minutes from the Santa Fe Square. I am a visual artist and am leaving so inspired from this beautiful home. Truly a magical place and almost a place that I want to keep as my own little secret.

    Sharon2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a WONDERFUL house, perfect for our group vacation in Santa Fe. Four of us ended up heading out to Santa Fe for a hiking/spa weekend but we didn't want to stay in the middle of the hubbub. The Tano House was the perfect alternative. About 10 minutes from the city by car, we were close to both the downtown galleries and museums as well as the multiple hiking trailheads all around the city. The house itself is warm, inviting, and perfect for relaxation. A fire pit outside (perfect for those chilly nights when all you want to do is hear the crackle of the fire and see the stars). A brick oven. Four balconies (count them: four!). A gorgeous decor that's Southwestern slash Zen. A well appointed kitchen. And everything is spic and span. We couldn't have asked for more.

    Shalin2014-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place was everything as described, plus more! We were impressed with the house as soon as we entered the door - all the rooms were very well furnished, extremely spacious, the beds seemed to have memory foam mattresses, and the fire pit made the experience even better. Also, the host was extremely responsive when we had questions about the outdoor pizza oven. We stayed here for 2 nights and we felt like it wasn't long enough to fully experience this house. There were also 2 mountain bikes which we took around the neighborhood trail path. I would highly recommend staying here and I would definitely book this place again.

  • Many thanks to Patricia for an excellent calm stay on the north side of Santa Fe. This full sized apartment is minimalist but comfortable, very clean and functional. I liked the quiet freedom of having no tv or stereo in the unit. Close to all the amenities but out of the tourist fray of old town Santa Fe-- you feel like a local staying here. I loved the cosy bed and big sliding glass windows.

  • All it was advertised to be, as well as a great value.

    George2017-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Santa Fe is a magical place, and Patricia's home is a remote yet convenient location. It's a great value, we loved being able to cook breakfast in the morning, and enjoy it on the patio. I will say I was anticipating a separate guest house for some reason. I didn't realize the airbnb was the caregivers quarters beneath the main house. Patricia was very flexible with our arrival and departure, and a friendly host.

Located between the Santa Fe Opera and The Four Seasons Resort just past the village of Tesuque, this 18-acre retreat offers a private hiking/biking trail and 360 degree views. 650 ft architect-designed guest house. 12 mins to town!
This is truly a unique property, with unobstructed views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains and the Badlands to the West. We have a modern aesthetic, and this architect designed guest house maximizes the views and our appreciation of the landscape.
There are unobstructed views so the property feels very remote. You can hike/bike the ridgetop and then shoot down to the Tesuque Village Market for a coffee/burger. And if you are an opera buff, we are literally minutes away from the world class Santa Fe Opera.
  • Spent 6 nights and loved everything about our stay. Spectacular views, comfortable and clean accommodations and a host that made us feel welcomed and provided great recommendations for restaurants and hiking. Short 15 minute drive to the Plaza, allowing us to enjoy the historical center of Santa Fe and then escape back to the peaceful beauty and serenity of the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

  • If you are lucky enough to see this open, grab it!!!! I usually stay in Santa Fe center so I can walk to restaurants and shopping. I wondered if this might be too far out, but was intrigued by the possibility of this location. I am sooooo glad I booked it!! The drive to town was no problem and the peace and tranquility I experienced here was worth it. I worked from the guest house while I was there and experienced no issues with internet or cell connectivity. Five stars aren't enough!

    Julia2017-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • David and Yiwens place so so nice and perfect for the two of us on a trip, we loved the aesthetic and the views of the sunset and sunrise were amazing. There was even a hiking trail right in the "back yard" they were very friendly and made us want to go back to Santa Fe already! The place is only about 15 minutes from town and it feels like it's hours away, loved it!

    Alissa2017-06-18T00:00:00Z

  • Beautiful location, lovely hosts, and clean, well kept home. We enjoyed our stay and loved the detail that went into renovating the space. Beautiful view and essentials were provided. Not too far from town, although I will admit a couple of the turns towards the top of the hill leading to the home were little scary for me! Hosts were friendly but also respected our privacy. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

    Amelia2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We have come to Santa Fe many times over the years and have stayed in many places as a result - hotels, homes and Airbnb. David & Yiwen's beautiful casita tops them all. Everything is as pictured. The home is nicely furnished and very comfortable, the views are amazing, and the hosts are perfect Airbnb ambassadors. We'll be back!

    kurt2016-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • David and Yiwen's guest home couldn't be more perfect--a restful, beautiful getaway that feels remote but is actually a very convenient distance from town. The decor was lovely and the guesthouse had everything we needed for our evenings after exploring all day. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcomed & special for our anniversary mini-vacation. I couldn't recommend this house and hosts more highly--I would stay here again without hesitation!

    Megan2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • David and Yiwen's guest house is gorgeous, bright, impeccably clean, and offers stunning views of mountain range and desert. The photos do not do justice to the size of the space, which is more than adequate for couples, or the special touches in the modern design aesthetic. Do not hesitate to book the guesthouse if you are visiting Santa Fe for the first time. Town is extremely accessible and having access to hiking and views is well worth the short trip to town. David and Yiwen go above and beyond to make you feel at home and make the most of your visit. They offer recommendations via list, message communications, and in person. A fantastic value! Thank you, David and Yiwen.

YOU ARE NOT RENTING THE ENTIRE HOME- its 2 separate bedrooms in a private wing, each with it's own full bath & queen sized bed. One bedroom has its own patio with view! Home is located 10 minutes ( drive) from the Santa Fe Plaza, shopping & restaurants. Panoramic views from most rooms in the house!! We are more than willing to share the kitchen, dining room & LR with you too.
This elegant, and spacious home is nestled on on 2.5 acres, allowing privacy and complete quiet… It is a great place to read, or write, or just relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding it. The artistic detail from the oriental carpets to the contemporary paintings, gives this home a rich atmosphere.. The oversized, comfortable furniture leaves you feeling like you never want to get up!
This secluded neighborhood is steeped in natural beauty. Gorgeous areas to hike & lots of privacy….full of pinons & junipers everywhere you look. All the homes are on at least 2.5 acres, so neighbors are distant. It's QUIET! There is even a famous person "neighbor" right down a long dirt road!!
  • She graciously gave us full access to her home, invited us to use her kitchen, went out of her way to give us local information not found in the tour books, and was always pleasant, helpful and cheerful. Her beautiful home was everything it was represented to be. Her recommendations for dining and things to see and do from a local's point of view were excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and had good access to the Santa Fe and surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the Santa Fe area.

    Gloria2014-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Anne's home is beautiful. She recently upgraded her wifi which was perfect for me and a friend to work remote all-day Friday for while surrounded by lavender and hummingbirds. The listing is for two bedrooms and bathrooms which makes it considerably worth it considering the prices of hotels in the heart of Santa Fe during peak season. The drive was a quick 10-15minutes to city-center. Anne and her husband couldn't have been more kind. Every morning we were given coffee and scones, and even got some homemade granola to take back home with us!

    Rosie2015-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome Host! Anne was very responsive in all our communication and a very hospitable hostess! We really enjoyed their home and felt very comfortable while going and coming. Anne was very helpful with information about the area on things to see and do. Everything in the description of the home was as described. This is definitely a nice quiet area and a great place to relax. Would definitely recommend this home!

  • We had a fabulous experience staying at Anne and Mark's home in beautiful Santa Fe. Our hosts were gracious and made us feel welcome the minute we stepped in the door of their gorgeous home. We enjoyed freshly brewed coffee each morning while we soaked in the beauty of the mountain views off of our private guest patio. We could not have asked for more comfortable accommodations or more lovely hosts.

    Greg2015-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 3rd time staying with Anne. We keep going back because it feels like home. This time we had the extra treat of waking up to a snowfall. The views from the house are always beautiful, but this was a welcome twist. And everything we've said before still applies.

    Phil2016-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • Anne was great--very welcoming and hospitable, full of good tips about the types of things we wanted to see in Santa Fe (historical silver-smithing, for example). Amazing modern cabin inside the Santa Fe National forest! Sitting right on a creek surrounded by Aspen, Cottonwood and Pine trees but just a short 20 minutes to the Santa Fe plaza. Unparalleled setting and design with all the high end amenities. Pets are allowed but restrictions and a pet fee will apply, please let me know if you intend to bring a pet.
The cabin is located INSIDE the Santa Fe national forest. If you are looking for a true outdoors experience in a high end cabin this is it. You can hike, bike, or ski right out the front door for miles and miles. The wildlife is a joy to watch anytime of year - but in the summer the Humming Birds will amaze you, there can be up to 50 at a time during July-August. The cabin also sits right on a wonderful creek and is very private. The main cabin has a king bed in the master, a king or two twin XL beds in the first guest room - please let me know which you prefer, and a queen in the 2nd guest room. There is a detached studio that sits just off of the cabin - connected by the deck, and is available for parties of six or more or upon request. The studio has a queen bed and 3/4 bath.
What makes the neighborhood so great is there are only a couple of other homes up here inside the National Forest so privacy is guaranteed. The wildlife and birds are so much fun and just to be able to hike right from the house is such a treat.
  • The location of cabin is out of the way and ideal for getting away from it all. The creek and trees create a great setting. The furnishings are nice and most amenities were provided. The master bedroom/bathroom are exceptional. We especially loved the steam shower. Brian was very accommodating and assured we had everything we needed. The road to cabin can get muddy if there is precipitation. A 4 wheel drive is highly recommended if you want to be able to drive further up the mountain or need to drive during wet periods. The dirt road is manageable to the cabin when dry but still rocky further up and need vehicle with good clearance. We ended up trading in our minivan for a 4 wheel SUV which was much better (we had 3 days of precipitation - rain, snow, sleet). There are some nice hiking trails along the road and even just walking on the road was nice. We mostly dined in and the kitchen is fully equipped. If you do want to grab something to eat somewhere nearby, the Tesuque Market has some good food. Best to get groceries in Santa Fe.

    trish2016-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay. Brian is a wonderful host, providing very explicit instructions for arrival as (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps won't cut it in that area. The home was set up with windows open to the beautiful hum of the stream. Each room and the studio were clean with fresh linens and towels. Extra pillows, linens, towels were readily available. Brian's instructions and little notes left around the house make it easy to navigate the new space while still feeling laid back. You would find the note, just when you needed it. One side of the home is virtually one long, sliding-glass door that allows one to open the doors to the screens and create a continuum between the outdoors and inner spaces. You will feel like you are eating, sleeping, bathing in the beautiful forest. The little stream that runs across the property, is the perfect size for exploring and hiking with small children. There is a very nice, well prepared hot tub set outside near the stream ready for use. We lived with the doors and windows open both to cool down the home during the day and to enjoy all the beautiful nature that surrounds this space. It is truly a hummingbird mecca. Our two-year old now wants to grow up to be a hummingbird, she was so enamored. I think we took as many photos of hummingbirds as we did our girls. We enjoyed being close to town so we could pick up groceries and cook all of our meals in the beautiful kitchen working amongst the vibration of tiny wings all along the porch. This home and the surrounding area creates the feeling that you are some place very special. We are very thankful that Brian is willing to share his beautiful home and appreciate the thoughtfulness and attention to detail he provides as a host. We hope to visit again when our girls are older. It is a place to make memories.

    Kelly2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Brian was wonderfully laid back and easy to work with. We had a schedule change a few weeks before our arrival and Brian switched things around without a hitch. The cabin itself was outstanding and even better than the pictures suggested. There is a sweet little stream along the side so one could fall asleep to the sound of a babbling brook. Awesome. We had planned on doing a fair amount of cooking during our stay and it was great to find a fully stocked and well designed kitchen with a modern gas stove and lots of nice touches. The place truly is modern with new appliances and a quality feel throughout. There is also a hot tub right along side the aforementioned stream that is the perfect end to day of hiking. The road into the cabin is pretty rough as it had been raining in the evenings while we were there so all wheel drive (and a good set of shocks) is highly recommended. It's not about getting stuck but it is pretty bumpy. I was actually here with some buddies of mine for a reunion of sorts and the best compliment I can pay Brian and the cabin is that I'm planning on coming back, with my wife :-).

  • The description doesn't do the house justice. The master bedroom is particularly amazing, as is the surrounding area. Brian was incredibly helpful, and he has everything to assure a comfortable and fun experience. Finally, the house is in a great location: the area feels isolated in the forest, but it is close enough to town for groceries or a night out.

  • This cabin, and our host Brian, exceeded all expectations. The cabin is wonderfully isolated in the Santa Fe National Park, can very comfortably accommodate six adults, is exceptionally well furnished and decorated, and is in excellent condition. The kitchen has modern appliances and is well equipped. There are spaces for outdoor sitting and relaxing or enjoying a meal. All the pictures are true representations. The cabin is surrounded by trees and directly next to a stream. It also has a hot tub a few steps away from the house. When we arrived, the house was immaculate and everything was in place (i.e. new sponge in the sink, fresh towels, AND fresh Ritz Carlton type fluffy bathrobes). There were plenty of fresh linens if we needed them. Brian our host was very prompt in his communications, provided very clear directions to the house, and checked in on us to assure we had what we needed. We could not ask for a more perfect host. This is truly a special house,....and it you are looking for a place to relax, hike, enjoy the outdoors and yet be 20 minutes from Santa Fe...this house is perfect.

  • We absolutely loved staying here, and are looking forward to coming back. Brian has thought of everything. Completely relaxing and secluded. We all (including our 11 and 8 yr old boys) loved the brook, hummingbirds, squirrels, and what looked liked chipmunks. The beds and linens are heavenly, imagine the sound of the water and hummingbirds when you wake up every morning...best sleep ever! We can't wait to come back!

  • The house is really beautiful ...we enjoyed it to the fullest ...awesome location...Brian is very friendly and a nice person . He extended our check out time by 4 hours as we had late night flights . I would definitely recommend this place.

  • The house is very cozy and attractive. We really enjoy it. Brian is a wonderful host, very helpful and always available. I totally recommend this place.

This villa offers serenity, privacy, and 360 degree mountain views, while located only minutes from the famous Santa Fe Plaza and restaurants. Spacious 3 BR/3 bath, 3 kivas, large patio; several hiking trails right out your door. Pets considered.
Our property was just listed on Airbnb in early 2016. This stunning three bedroom, three bathroom villa is located in the Bishop's Lodge Villas adjacent to the Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa. There are completely unobstructed 360 degree, panoramic views of the Jemez and other mountains, yet the location is only four miles north of the Plaza! The home is in the less densely populated lower section of the Villas, offering the most privacy. Access is available to the horseback riding facilities and trails at Bishop's Lodge. The Pueblo-revival style, freestanding villa with wood-beamed ceilings has a fully-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, full oven, microwave and large refrigerator. Meals can be served at the granite counter area or at the adjacent dining room table that comfortably seats six, eight if needed. The home's large, great room has a leather queen sleeper sofa, TV with a Premium Cable Package, and kiva fireplace. This gorgeous, welcoming sitting area opens onto a large patio where you can enjoy the same breathtaking views as the great room. The gas barbecue grill, and patio chairs and table, offer an inviting dining option. The three bedrooms are furnished in classic Spanish style. The turquoise and red-accented master bedroom suite has a king bed, TV, and kiva fireplace. The en suite bathroom has both a shower and a whirlpool tub. The middle bedroom has two twin beds and overlooks the Jemez Mountains. The third bedroom is easily mistaken for the master bedroom and has a king bed, TV, kiva fireplace, and lovely views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Ski Santa Fe. Both the second and third bedrooms have a shower/bath tub and separate sink area. The home is adjacent to 200 acres of the Santa Fe National Forest, and several hiking trails are easily accessible. There is a swimming pool (typically open mid-May to October) behind our villa that is shared with only the 5 other villas in our private section and is very lightly used. Many of Santa Fe's over 300 restaurants are within a short drive. We selected this location with the first villa reservation, prior to construction, because it offers the most privacy of all the units and spectacular, 360 degree mountain views.
Our Villa is adjacent to the historic Bishop's Lodge Resort & Spa. The Resort's riding stable is visible a couple hundred yards down the hill from the rear of the Villa. Hiking trails abound, along with nature sightings and serenity. 360 degree, unobstructed mountain views must be seen to be fully appreciated.
  • Steve and Ellen's villa was even more beautiful than depicted in the pictures they provided. The villa is spacious and has a number of cozy corners for enjoying the spectacular view. The living room has a lovely fireplace, which we used on an unusually chilly day (firewood had been made available on the patio). The beds were extremely comfortable. The villa was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Steve and Ellen provided a number of thoughtful extra amenities: soap, shampoo, coffee, a list of restaurants and Santa Fe highlights, books of local hikes. There is also hiking outside of their front door. There are horses within walking distance (the stables at Bishops Lodge), and we went horseback riding one afternoon. The villa is just a 10- minute drive from downtown Santa Fe. We couldn't have asked for a better first Airbnb experience!

    Sarah2016-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is great place! It is quiet with amazing views and just a short drive from the plaza. We had 4 adults and 2 kids for thanksgiving and we had plenty of space. It is so nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. We went to bandelier, meow wolf and saw a show at the lensic. Highly recommend staying here. Steve was helpful and provided great recommendations for us on things to do and where to eat.

    Kerry2016-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Steven met us at the property and gave us a quick tour of the house to answer any questions we might have. The pictures do not do justice for this property. It is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Stevens response time for any questions i had were quick and was very helpful. The evenings there were quiet and breathtaking. The house was clean and its location is private and secluded, exactly what we were looking for; no neighbors. We enjoyed our days by the pool and our evening in the outside patio watching the sunset while enjoying a glass of local wine.

    Marquez2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Steve was an excellent host. He communicated with me prior to the trip and during the stay. We very much enjoyed the home. The location was really wonderful. Beautiful views!

    Kaylyn2017-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our hosts met us at the villa at the prearranged time and explained all the features of their very complete accommodations. The villa is quite striking - relatively new, very well-furnished and stylishly decorated. It has all of the amenities necessary to provide a comfortable extended stay. The photos provide an accurate view of the inside of the property, but fail to do justice to the wonderful location. The site is absolutely terrific, private, quiet, on top of a high ridge a little north of town with beautiful panoramic views from most of the rooms. There is a small patio off the living room with a spectacular view off to the north and a swimming pool next door. It's a short drive to both the plaza and the opera. I would definitely stay here again.

    Michael2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Steve and Ellen stayed in constant communication with us prior to our arrival and the villa was immaculate. The pictures of the villa do not do it justice. The views were amazing, the location felt remote, but was only minutes from the center of all Santa Fe has to offer. We would absolutely stay there again. Thanks Steve and Ellen for sharing your home with us.

    James2016-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful home, very well appointed and comfortable. We completely enjoyed our time and appreciated the extra time Steven took to point out nearby hikes.

    Andrea2017-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • The house is gorgeous, immaculate, bright, tasteful, spacious and very comfortable. The sunset mountain views of Sangre de Cristo was breathtaking. Downtown Santa Fe is close by - just 4 miles and a super easy drive. My family and I came Santa Fe to relax and to bond. We greatly appreciate the privacy, security and the slow wifi for it allowed us to focus on the objective: having a fun family vacation. Amenities and cellphone signals were sufficient for our needs. We highly recommend this place.

Set in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains this is 2400 sq. ft. house provides tranquility, and privacy at only 18-minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza. This house is located in the hills above Tesuque, on 5-acres of land.
You will enjoy the great weather of Santa Fe with the outdoor living space provided. The house has a outdoor dining room, that can be enclosed with a vinyl and canvas enclosure when it's cold out, and opened to enjoy the cool summer breezes. The outdoor dinning room also has a built-in profession restaurant radiant heater. You can enjoy the wonderful New Mexico sunsets every evening while enjoying a drink on the 900 sq. ft. second story deck. Or, enjoy the stars and actually see the Milky Way in your private hot tub. This is a private house, with everything that you would expect at home. The large kitchen is made for entertaining, with a bar for six and two dishwashers. The kitchen overlooks the living room that has a 42-inch LCD TV, with satellite TV, and a kiva fireplace. There are three bedrooms, 2 downstairs and a master suite at the second floor. One of the downstairs bedrooms has a small flat TV and a private portal with outdoor furniture. There is an enclosed area with pet door to the house that is made to keep your dogs safe.
The neighborhood is between the Santa Fe Opera and and the Auberge Encantado Resort and Spa. All houses in the neighborhood have 5-acres of land. There is not much traffic on the neighborhoods dirt road which makes it great for going on walks.
  • We stayed here for Christmas with a family of 6 adults and everything was fantastic. We got good directions leading up to our arrival and the house was even better than described. Very clean and everything was ready for us- it is clear that this house is rented often and they manage everything very well! The upstairs master bedroom has a huge private patio, a walk in shower with two shower heads, and huge whirlpool tub. The living area was nice and the kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked. The living room/kitchen is great for a large family. We also brought our dog and he loved the place too! The only caution- the house has a lot of stairs, just two or three steps between rooms sometimes, but if you are bringing older folks or little kids this might be something to ask Jeremy about. He was very responsive and helpful! This house had everything week needed for a memorable Christmas vacation.

  • The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. and the views are gorgeous. It was very quiet and secluded, perfect for our girls getaway.

  • Jeremy's place was great! It was clean and well stocked and perfect for our group of 3 couples. I really appreciated Jeremy being so easy to work with and communicate with. The views from the house are amazing. We spent a couple of nights sitting outside star gazing. I would definitely recommend Jeremy's place for a get together in Santa Fe!

    Sofia2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy's house combines comfort, upscale accommodations, and tremendous views. Mother nature did not cooperate with snow for skiing, but we found plenty to do in Santa Fe area as well as relaxation, cooking, and family time at the house. Jeremy provided everything we needed to have a very enjoyable time.

    diane2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful getaway! My girlfriends and I had such a fantastic time at Jeremy’s place. We cooked dinner and breakfast in the huge kitchen and had all the necessities we needed! The view is FANTASTIC and with only a 17 minute drive into downtown, it was the perfect distant to feel ‘out of the way’ but still close! Parking was great and the beds were very comfortable! If I go again, this place is on the top of my list!

    ariel2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, close enough to Santa Fe but still private and secluded. Loved the cafe and general store at Tesuque - a real plus.

  • This was our second time to stay at Jeremy's house, and we'll be back! The house is great, in a fun location just north of town - with the most amazing views and some land for our kids to explore. Thanks again for a great stay, Jeremy!

Set in the foothills above Santa Fe, our villa is quiet and serene, has a swimming pool, gorgeous views, and provides easy access to the cultural, historical, and recreational sites in the area. Santa Fe's historic plaza and downtown is just a 12 minute drive away. Visitors treasure our combination of solitude with easy access to everything the area has to offer. Please note that our nightly rate includes New Mexico's required 11% Occupancy Tax.
As our outstanding reviews make clear, you'll be hard-pressed to find a quieter, more relaxing place than our villa at Pueblo Encantado. Though just a 12 minute drive from Santa Fe's downtown plaza, our place near the charming village of Tesuque is serene and restful. You'll have gorgeous views and fabulous sunsets in a wonderfully secluded environment. The heated pool (open June through September) is a short stroll from our unit, but far enough away that it won't disturb the quiet.
Our villa has the advantage of being out in the country but close to town. We have a pool, dramatic views, hiking trails nearby, and the 5 star Four Seasons Rancho Encantado Resort and Spa is right across the street. You'll be just 8 minutes from the Santa Fe Opera and a short drive will take you to the Santa Fe ski basin in the winter, and to fabulous trail heads in the summer.
  • This property could not be more perfect for a quiet and private get-away with easy driving access to Santa Fe and surrounding areas. It feels very remote yet it's close enough to be in downtown Santa Fe in 10 minutes and the Santa Fe Opera in five. And there's a grocery store right on the way in/out of Santa Fe for a quick provision. We were simply blown away by the sheer beauty and uniqueness of the setting. Set in the foothills and right across the road from the historic Rancho Encantado site (where apparently movie stars like Robert Redford used to hang out back in the day [now the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado]), you are surrounded by dramatic rolling hills that you can explore by foot or just admire with wine in hand from the patio. Which brings me to the sunsets. They're an event. From the patio, you can watch the sun drop behind the mountains, or you can jaunt up a foothill right there at the property to get a little elevation on the view. Being from Dallas, it's truly unlike anything I see on a regular basis. You feel like you're on the set of an old western movie. It is so quiet there--deafeningly so--which, again, if you're from a city, is something special and something you'll especially notice. And the stars. They are brilliant. The interior is what I would call "Santa Fe elegance". Perfection. It feels like a thoughtful mix of collected pillows and furniture from the area set in a classic Santa Fe adobe with ceiling beams, kiva fireplaces and lots of light and warmth from floor to ceiling windows. You really feel at home immediately. Some other things we noted: this is a very beautifully appointed home; fully stocked kitchen if you want to cook a meal (not food but dishes, utensils, etc); the beds were comfortable; plenty of extra blankets; rooms were spacious; there was an iPhone plug attached to the Bose so you can use your own playlist/Pandora/Spotify, etc. through quality speakers; wifi is available, although the connection is a little slow at times; there are two fireplaces; lots of light with the big windows; the patio is very private; the entire place is very quiet. This property is tucked behind another property, so you don't see cars and you rarely see people, if at all. The decor is so pretty yet not at all stuffy. You feel right at home and you definitely feel like you're in Santa Fe. This is a very special place.

  • I can only echo what previous reviewers have written. Paul's place is just amazing. Very comfortable for the two of us, but completely accommodating for a larger group of 4-6 people. The master suite has a very comfortable king size bed, & spacious bathroom with huge walk in shower. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities if you choose to stay in a cook. The views from both the house and patio are amazing no matter what time of day or night. Paul provided great tips on restaurants, hikes and site seeing, and a list of grocery stores. Take his advice and eat at least once at the Tesuque Village Market - a hidden gem. I would stay at Paul's Serenity With a View in Santa Fe again without hesitation.

  • A lovely, quiet space for relaxation. Great location, quiet and yet close to downtown Santa Fe. The views are amazing. There is a more complicated check in process (more paperwork) but the place itself is really lovely.

  • Gorgeous home and close to highway so we were able to day trip to Santa Fe Plaza, Taos, etc. Paul was wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here. A+++

    Denice2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The home is about 15 minutes from the center of Santa Fe, which for us offered a great balance between a low-key escape and accessibility to in-town sightseeing. The home was really lovely and had a good supply of just about everything we could have hoped to have in a home-away-from-home.

    Emmy2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great condo. Two bedrooms with king size beds and separate bathrooms works great for 2 couples. You're a little out of town, but the landscape is terrific, and the night sky is superior. Paul is a great host. Very responsive throughout the reservation process, after booking, and during our stay.

    Jake2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jay was responsive to my every inquiry and made the check in simple and easy. The home was beautiful and in a wonderful setting. Rural, but very close to everything. Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving at Serenity with a view, and we prepared the meal in the well- equipped kitchen. The home, location and our stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you to Jay.

    Martin2015-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the place! The place was clean, and had many essentials like towels, pool towels even shampoo which is always nice to not have to buy or carry around. The complex was quiet and very relaxing. The place was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our three night stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Paul's place. Furthermore it was a little out of town but a very short car ride away and we really liked this, it was nice to be somewhere so quiet. We loved eating at The Shed, and El Farol had the most amazing food and flamenco dancing! The Palace was also a really great bar and place to go to if you want to listen to live music and dance.

Lots of unexpected amenities like plush robes and slippers, well stocked kitchen with some very nice food and treats, nice linens and the oh-so-perfect hot tub!

  • Fabulous airbnb experience! Beautiful home, special touches, extremely private, quiet and at the same time luxurious. Wonderful helpful and respectful hosts. Highly recommend a stay at this very special location.

    Cathy2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful week+ stay here. The casita is just as pictured and the hosts were very accommodating and thoughtful (while not at all intrusive). The casita is part of the house, but partially separated by a patio where the hot tub is; I never heard any noise at all from my hosts. The setting, in the hills right next to the opera, is also very quiet and lovely - millions of stars as night, birdsong in the morning. In addition to the very clean and new looking sauna in the unit (and use of the outside hot tub), I also had use of a small patio right outside the second bedroom, again, very private. The kitchen was fully equipped with a keurig (and coffee), pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc., as well as a full set of spices. The bed was very comfortable and there was a choice of pillows, which I appreciated. I had fine wireless internet acces and, though got either no or one bar cell signals (so could not really make cell calls, though texting seemed to work), I just used (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). There was also a landline extension in the unit. The location is absolutely perfect for the opera and Nambe, but it is also a very quick (~ 15 minutes) drive to the Santa Fe Plaza and environs-- it's a short, straight shot down the highway to that part of town. I was usually in and out of Santa Fe once or twice daily and really enjoyed returning to this quiet and lovely casita. I plan to come back.

    Catherine2017-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous private place to stay while exploring Santa Fe. It’s exactly as pictured and Lilas and her husband are perfect hosts. We would love to return in the future and enjoyed staying there better than a 5* hotel!

    Julie2017-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to visit! We even stayed in one night and cooked so that we could fully enjoy the accommodations! We would recommend it to any friend or family. Hosts were wonderful and the casita was perfect in every way!

    Suzie2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lilas and Steve were the best hosts that you could ask for - they were happy to help with recommendations for food and things to do but also gave you space to have your private vacation time. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket with wine and snacks. The villa had several pantry and refrigerator staples so rushing to the grocery store on the day of arrival was not necessary. The guesthouse is beautiful, with all the amenities you need and a beautiful view. We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch in the evenings and my husband loved the sauna! We enjoyed every minute of our trip and were happy to meet such nice people!

  • I cannot imagine a more lovely, relaxing place to stay in the Santa Fe area. The house was comfortable--with room for three people both to spend time together and still have some privacy--and easy to find, and the drive in and out of town is really quick and pleasant. The views were sublime and would be great in any season (we arrived in 70 degree spring weather and left with about an inch of snow on the ground!). Wendy and the other hosts were all very friendly and quick to communicate. Overall Acoma was wonderfully relaxing and had a great southwestern ambiance.

    Audrey2017-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • The Acoma home was such a beautiful retreat for a weekend get away. The space was very serene. We enjoyed breakfast on the outside patio and took in the beautiful views. It was secluded and about a 15 minute drive into town, so having the four seasons walking distance was definitely a plus. Check-in and check-out were very easy.

  • This home is just as pictured! Views are stunning, house is beautiful, and the setting is serene, relaxing and quiet. We were so sad to leave this great home. And our pups absolutely loved the two acres to explore and hike around!

    Hilary2017-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • A great place with truly captivating sunsets!!

    Mauricio2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • House was exactly as advertised, beautiful Santa Fe charm and location. It was remote enough for quiet evenings but close enough for the City events. House was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. Looking to coming back soon.

    Walt2015-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I travel often to Santa Fe and we have come to love the Tano Road area just outside of the town. The pictures you see of this home are accurate and the host has done an excellent job of adding amenities that make you feel welcome. The views from the upper deck are stunning. It is a peaceful retreat and we plan to come again.

    Mike2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • The house was everything our group of four needed. A little ways out of town with plenty of room to relax after full days of skiing. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

    Jared2015-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place was beautiful, serene, set in the landscape with breathtaking views. The house was authentically decorated, warm and welcoming, had all the right kitchen wear and tools needed to self cater. We were happy to be on the outskirts of town and to reach the slopes only added 10 minutes to the journey - well worth it!!! Only wish there were more bedrooms :)!!

    Katharine2017-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Such a magical hideaway, I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Immaculately clean, comfortable, beautiful views, peaceful. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thanks Wendy for sharing your Santa Fe sanctuary!

Sweet and rustic, this adobe home was built in the 40's with sprawling views of the Jemez Mountains from the front porch. Just outside of Santa Fe in the pueblo of Tesuque this home is great if you want a tranquil wild west setting. Decorated with the area in mind, you will feel like you are where you are. Great place for a romantic get away, there is a fire pit out front and a record player with vinyl to set the mood. All are welcome!
The place is all yours, hang out inside and listen to music, or get outside and enjoy the evening with the outdoor fire pit. The bed is comfortable and the home is serene and quiet. There is a couch and an extra twin bed if needed. The space can handle up to 4 people. There are walking trails up behind the home allowing for some great views of the Tesuque area.
This area is more rural, but it is down the road from some great places and you can hike on the property or find some of the great trails this area has to offer. The Four Seasons Santa Fe is nearby with a beautiful bar and restaurant. El Nido and Tesuque Market are also great places to eat, or have a drink at the bar. There will be information in the home regarding day hikes and things to do in Santa Fe.
  • The house was everything we could have hoped for! Beth was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to questions. The house is an adorable adobe style just minutes from Santa Fe, but secluded enough to enjoy the quiet countryside and stargaze in the dark of night. I enjoyed the ruggedness of the house with the western decor, and the wood pit on the hill was a great vantage to watch the sun set over the mountains. The bottle of Bulleit Rye was a nice touch as well. A great place to stay if you're looking to enjoy Santa Fe but also want to get away for a while.

    Michael2017-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • You will be amazed by the sunsets and sunrises on top of the hill out the back screen door. This place has a cozy, rustic casita feel. It has almost everything you need. You are secluded and yet 5 minutes from great food and cool art and hiking. And you can spin some tunes on the old Pioneer stereo, and build a fire outside. Loved my two weeks there. Thanks again Beth for all your attentiveness.

    Joe2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Charming adobe casita in a beautiful location. It is close enough to Santa Fe to enjoy all that it offers and far enough away to enjoy the beauty that surrounds the area. Only issue is that the TV wasn't working which allowed for much needed disconnection from the world but it would have been nice to have the option to watch if we wanted. We would definitely stay again!

    Melanie2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • For a relaxing, magical getaway, close enough to town but far enough for peace and quiet, you must stay at this homey casita. Bring yourself, some food and a bottle (or case) of delicious wine. The perfect rejuvenating environment for a stressed out city slicker. Cheers to a good time!!!

    Esodie2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beth's place was one of the coolest airbnb's we have stayed in yet. It was remote enough to pop out the back door and go on a great hike with our two dogs but close enough to easily drive into Santa Fe for a relaxing dinner. Definitely would stay here again!

    Andrew2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • The host canceled this reservation 65 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

    Bob2017-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect, quiet and full of stars but only 10 to 15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to be. It is also only a 45 minute drive to Tent Rock Monument. Delightfully decorated and oh so cozy!

    Jess2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Although somewhat rustic, we found the place to also be magical. The kitchen was well appointed with a variety of coffee making appliances! It was perfect for a 3 day weekend.

Walking distane to the Tesuque Market, El Nido Restaurant, Glen Green Gallery. Nice Countrty setting. About 6 miles to the Plaza and Canyon Rd. Easily walk out of the neghborhhod into the forest for a hike.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the home and allow privacy. Through the years the house has been renovated and upgraded, the kitchen was redone again in 2016. The property has three homes on it and at one time were three separate properties. In the early 1990's up to about 2010 the grounds housed a Workshop and Gallery as well as a Residence for Fisher Tinworks where art pieces were designed, created and shown. Some of the Tinwork that was made through the years is displayed throughout the house. Today it's a quiet comfortable setting to live and visit.
  • The Place: Upscale finishes and appliances with everything perfectly appointed for your convenience and comfort. Whimsical art around every corner delights. Lovely outdoor space. Location: It is a few miles out of town (about a 10 minute drive), so you won't be walking to the square. However, Tesuque Village Market and Restaurant is just two blocks away. (Serves pizza, burgers, Mexican food - a bit spicy) The Host: Welcoming and responsive to concerns/needs. Friendly, but gives you space and privacy.

  • Wanted a place to stay for two (foodie) couples in Santa Fe, for the annual Wine and Chile Festival PLUS a "significant" birthday for my husband. Opted for Richard's place vs a hotel, and SOOOOO glad we did! Very good experience, from 1st email to meeting him while he stopped by at our request to help us get the stereo synched with our devices. (Totally worth the Apple effort, he's got a nice sound system with speakers in LR, master bedroom, and master bath :) The house is very unassuming from the outside, located in a little hamlet called Tesuque, just a bit off the main road, but only about 10 min from Santa Fe. Landmark was the Tesuque Market, also doubling as a bar, restaurant, pizzeria and local gathering place. AND liquor store :) Decor was GORGEOUS! Completely renovated space, filled with antiques & rustic NM furniture, pressed tin ceilings, and lots of skylights, plus a great kitchen (gas stove YAY!) and comfy furniture. Bed in master bedroom was super comfortable. Huge soaking tub PLUS shower in master bath. 2nd bedroom had nice private bathroom as well. Best part, for us, was the proximity to Santa Fe Opera, where the Tasting event was held. It was literally a 5-minute drive away. Thank you Richard for being such a good host and for creating such a lovely hideaway near Santa Fe. Can't wait to comeback!

    Kathryn2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • New Mexico - Land of Enchantment is a wonderful place to visit and explore! Richard's house is in the very perfect location for access to the center of Santa Fe and the roads to other parts. Tesuque is a cool village and you can walk to the special Market from his place which is a much added benefit. The house itself is extremely well appointed and very clean. The decor is museum quality and it's very peaceful, warm, and comfortable. I would highly recommend Richard's house as your Santa Fe retreat!

    Paula2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, well appointed house. It has enough equipment in the kitchen to cook. The two bedrooms are well separated from each other. The house is filled with skylights making it very pleasant during the day. Richard was very responsive. We highly recommend this house.

    Greg2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home was immaculate and the setting just as peaceful as we imagined.

    Rhea2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Richard is the best host anyone could ask for. His home was, comfortable, clean, and lots of visual appeal. Great sound system and high-end finishes and appliances.

    Jodi2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very special place to stay. The layout is very private, with each bedroom suite separated by the kitchen and family/living room. Beautiful furnishings and interesting folk art objects are everywhere. The outdoor space is also very pretty and quiet. Tesuque is only 10 minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but it is very scenic and uncontested. It is also very near the opera. Richard is available to help and is very considerate.

    Carmela2017-08-12T00:00:00Z

  • Austin & Charles have an AMAZING house that was perfect for a recent business trip. I was in Santa Fe to attend a business week at the Santa Fe Opera, which is located just minutes away. Despite being "out of downtown" you are only a few minutes drive from everything Santa Fe has to offer. Also, the pictures do not do this house justice. The gardens and patios are especially glorious in the morning with a cup of coffee and in the evening to wind down your day. One note: while the listing does not include it, be sure you are aware that the house does not provide internet. It was my mistake, and it is not a complaint, just in case someone else misses it like I did! This is a wonderful oasis for a trip to the desert.

  • This house was fantastic! The six of us, including four kids aged 5 to 13 found the house to be very comfortable, beautiful and wonderfully appointed. Cannot think of a thing that we needed and couldn’t find. Highly recommend this amazing property!

  • The property is so beautiful! We had 4 kids with us -- ages 17, 13, 11 and 9. They loved roaming the beautiful gardens, while my husband and I enjoyed cocktails by the chimnea. It was delightful. Great location that was close enough to get to downtown, yet felt out of the way. Would definitely recommend for groups or those who want to enjoy the outdoor spaces.

    Vicki2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed- including coffee, cream and sugar plus some thoughtful snacks for our first night. Beautiful gourmet kitchen was fantastic for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner. Beds very confirtable and each bedroom had 2 plush bath robes. Over all a great rental experience.

  • We loved staying in Veronica's beautiful apartment! It was just a short drive out of downtown Santa Fe and after a few nights of staying in urban motels it felt so good to be a little bit out in the country. Veronica made sure we found the apartment okay and checked in to make sure we always had everything we needed. I loved Santa Fe so much, I hope to get the chance to stay with Veronica again sooner rather than later. Thank you so much!

  • We had a wonderful vacation staying in this large studio apartment. Veronica was a gracious host and opened up the adjacent apartment when we added more people to our party. With both spaces, we had 3 bedrooms, two baths, two partial kitchens, a large living area with a fireplace and dining area, and a large closet space. My wife especially liked the memory foam on the bed and wants some for our bed at home now. The apartment is secluded, but just minutes from the old-town Santa Fe square where there are many shops and restaurants. It's also very near the start of the road up to Ski Santa Fe; it only takes 35 minutes to drive up the mountain from the apartment. To get to the apartment from the parking area, you need to walk up a set of dirt steps--make sure you're prepared for that. We spent two fun days snowboarding, and then drove 50 minutes to Bandelier National Monument for a day of hiking around and climbing up into Ancestral Puebloan cave dwellings. Finally we spent another half day walking the Santa Fe square, browsing the shops and sampling the restaurants before reluctantly heading home. I highly recommend this apartment and all the local activities we enjoyed.

  • Veronica was an awesome communicator and provided little treats like fresh ground coffee, etc. The location was great. Thanks so much for opening the whole house to us!

  • We really loved our stay at Veronica's place. Decided to have a fairly low key weekend, casually exploring Sante Fe while also having plenty of downtime. We ended up liking Veronica's place more than we had expected and really enjoyed hanging around the stylish, simple space with so much natural light. We'd love to come back!

Beautiful little cottage in a canyon near Santa Fe, along Tesuque creek. Quiet and lovely retreat, only about 10 minutes from the plaza in Santa Fe, but out in the country. Beautiful porch, full kitchen, washer/dryer, short drive to the opera. There is a fireplace, and firewood is available. Near hiking trails. There is a roof-porch that looks out over the canyon. Verizon works best for cell, there is WIFI.
The house is about 100 years old, originally made of river rock. It feels like old Santa Fe. There is no air conditioning, but the house is reasonably cool even on a hot day, and the canyon always cools down in the evening.
This house is in a little canyon north of Santa Fe. We are just 10 minutes drive from the plaza and heart of the city, but it is quiet and wild here in the canyon. The beautiful Windsor trail that starts just up the road, the trail head a short walk from the porch. The stars and the night sky are grand. The bird song in the morning is wonderful.
  • It's a beautiful 2-bedroom home only a short drive away from the Santa Fe city proper. Check-in and out was easy!

  • This home is everything and more than it describes. The pictures don't do it justice. Love the seclusion and nearby hiking paths. WiFi worked perfectly. The hosts went out of there way to help.

  • It was my friends' first time in Santa Fe and Bette's place helped to make an even greater first impression! Beautiful and comfortable home with sounds of nature to add to the charm. Secluded but close enough to the central part of town.

  • What a special place! I feel like my family had the real Santa Fe experience. The house was wonderful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Thank you Bette

  • This home was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice - spacious, inviting. Bette and James were wonderful hosts - greeted us upon arrival, suggested wonderful local restaurants, and local sights. IF you are going to visit Santa Fe, this is the place to stay!

  • We felt so lucky to be in this beautiful space -- Bette, your description of this special spot as being close to the city, and yet removed in a wonderful natural setting, was so accurate. We loved waking up to bird song, hummingbirds at the feeder, and big blue sky. Thanks again for your lovely and comfortable Tesuque Creek House! --Susan LaForte, Amherst, MA

  • This home far exceeded my expectations! It was clean and comfortable. The little details made it special. The owners are wonderful. I highly recommend this location for it was tucked away, yet easy to get to hot spots. Also in walking distance to hiking trails. Can’t wait to stay again!

  • We had a wonderful weekend at Bette's place! We loved stargazing and being near a beautiful hiking trail. We have visited Santa Fe several times but never spent time in Tesuque. It's our new favorite spot!

One bedroom house with incredible views! Less than a mile from downtown, this secluded house will make you feel like you’re one with nature but still has the added convenience of an incredible location!
  • Since there was no reviews yet on this Airbnb, we took a chance based on the positive reviews from Emma’s other property. Emma’s place is great with the view, decor and closeness to town and Ski Santa Fe. We also appreciate that Emma checked with us from time to time to see if we need anything else. We would like to offer some suggestions: 1) This is a pet friendly house, so pet hair is not avoidable. This house is clean, but there was a lot of dog hair on the furniture. 2) The heater was loud and some mechanic clicking sounds after the heater was off. We ended up turning the heater off when we called off the night as the comforters were warm enough. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. 3) This house has a lot of natural light. The sunlights get into the house, so If you plan to sleep during the day, bring a eye mask. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The dog hair and the heater weren’t major issues;, but without these two, Emma’s place would have been a 5-star Airbnb from us.
