Our luxurious and private Pool House is tucked away in an English style garden with a swimming pool and spa. We are located in a secure and safe suburb, close to the city centre which is easily accessible by car, train, tram or even by bicycle.
Enjoy a tranquil stay in a magnificent garden with pool and spa, in a quiet suburb conveniently located close to the city centre. We accept a maximum of two guests only. Location Kooyong is a tiny sought-after suburb wedged between Malvern, Hawthorn, and Toorak--one of Melbourne's most exclusive suburbs. We are only 7km from the city centre. Our home backs on to Kooyong Park and there is easy access to the city which is only 10 minutes by train, or 25 minutes by bicycle path all the way (complimentary bikes available). Amenities The modern Pool House is fully air conditioned and heated, and has its own private, separate entry. It is fitted with a smoke alarm and gas detector, and even has its own security system. There is unlimited broadband wireless Internet in the Pool House. We also provide a wireless printer (Mac or PC) to print out plane tickets or correspondence. The bathroom features a frame-less shower and there is a fully kitted out kitchenette with a two hob Miele gas stove, mini-bar fridge, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. There is an LCD TV with DVD library, two wardrobes and a suspended rattan chair. The two sets of concertina doors fold right back to enjoy the lush surrounds. The comfortable Queen size bed has a chiropractic mattress. Quality linen is provided and additional pool towels. The Pool House is extremely quiet as it has been built of double brick with double glazed windows. For longer stays, we are happy to offer laundry facilities. Parking is not a problem--you can park right outside our house with our visitor's parking permit. The pool is heated between December and April, but you are welcome to use the pool at any time. The jacuzzi (spa) can be heated all year round and there is nothing more delightful than a 38C degree spa in the middle of winter! Originating from the UK, we are used to having friends and family regularly come and stay with us and we take great pleasure in showing them our beautiful city. I speak fluent French and some Italian. If you are looking for a unique luxury stay in a private, tranquil setting with easy access to the city, then come and enjoy the Pool House. NOTE: The Pool House is unsuitable for toddlers and young children due to its direct pool access within the safety fence perimeter.
Kooyong is a small exclusive and quiet suburb wedged between Malvern, Hawthorn, and Toorak, close to the city centre. Our home backs on to Kooyong Park and there is easy access to the city by train (10 mins) or along the bike path (25 mins). Kooyong Village is a 5 minute walk away at the end of our street and has a quaint parade of handy shops and delightful cafes.

I booked the poolhouse for my boyfriend's birthday weekend and we were able to lounge around all weekend, use the spa whenever we wanted, and the pool was clean and warm. The accommodation was close to public transport , cafe and shops . Initially we were hesitant about seeking accommodation privately but it was great .   • My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Abby's pool house over the Easter weekend and it had everything that we needed. It's beautifully furnished and has a wonderful view of the garden. It's very easy to get to from the centre of Melbourne with regular trains from the station just at the end of the road. Due to the time of year, we didn't get to take advantage of pool but I can imagine it would be great in the warmer months. Although we didn't get to meet Abby, she was a great host and stayed in touch during our stay, on arrival there was a bottle of wine and Easter eggs left in the pool house to greet us which was a lovely touch! Plenty of provisions for dinner/breakfast in fridge which was very useful as we arrived on Good Friday when much was closed in evening. Would definitely stay again if we hopefully come back to Melbourne! Thank you

  • We had a lovely stay at the pool house and Abby was such a fantastic host! The pool house itself was great, really cosy despite the freezing weather we had when we were in Melbourne. We could only imagine how lovely it would be in the summer nestled there in the garden by the pool! It was also really private and just easy. We arrived to a fridge full of breakfast goodies, coffee for the Nesrepsso, milk, eggs, yoghurt etc and a beautiful loaf of fresh bread, incredibly thoughtful! Abby also left us with lots of tips and advice about the city, the local area, how to get around and made sure we had everything we could possibly need for a seamless stay. The train station is just at the end of the road, a few minutes walk, so really handy to get around. I would definitely recommend the pool house to anyone wanting to stay out somewhere a little quieter, out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

  • Abby was the perfect hostess. The beautiful pool house was better in real life than the photos! The house was spotless and beautifully furnished with top quality fittings. The pull out bed was very comfortable and the surrounding grounds are a delight to look out at, I felt like I was in a private garden in Paris! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found Abby to be very generous, considerate and kind. We highly recommended this Pool House and would be more than happy to stay there again.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the little poolhouse. It was very comfortable and quiet - nothing to complain about! The public transport and some local cafés and restaurants were easy to reach within 5 minutes. Abby was very caring and helped us with everything e.g. printing flight tickets. She gave us useful hints for exploring the city and some nice restaurant recommendations. In the poolhouse we found everything we needed (cooking stuff, shampoo, towels, hair dryer). As we arrived very early in the morning from a long flight, we were very tired and Abby arranged an extra early check in. She even bought breakfast stuff and a fresh bread for us, so we could start our stay very relaxed. I can fully recommend this accomodation and want to thank Abby for this pleasant stay!

    Located very close to the city and attractions, this two level self-contained house is at the rear of our property. Including a modern kitchen, bathroom, dining, lounge and bedroom (very comfy king bed) this is the perfect place for your stay in Melbourne.
    The Lane House is a beautiful two level, self contained house amongst leafy surroundings. The ground floor features a modern kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher and full size fridge, an open plan dining area with dining table and six chairs, a european laundry with washing machine and a full bathroom with a double vanity, toilet and large shower complete with overhead and hand showers. Upstairs there is an open plan lounge and bedroom. The lounge features a large three seater, leather couch, a 42 inch high definition LED television and book shelves full of books that can be read during your stay. The bedroom features a luxurious king size bed along with a robe and additional hanging space with hangers. There is also a port-a-cot available upon request.
    This part of Hawthorn is very quiet and centrally located. There are many options for dining, shopping and entertainment. Glenferrie Road - Located about a fifteen minute walk away Glenferrie Road features an array of shops (including two supermarkets), a range of dining options and entertainment in the form of pubs and a cinema. (URL HIDDEN) Bridge Road, Richmond - This iconic street is famous for fashion shopping however it also has a large number of restaurants, bars, pubs and take away food. Victoria Gardens - Located about a 10 minute walk away is Victoria Gardens shopping centre. It features an array of shops including Ikea, Kmart and Coles as well as a food court and cinema complex. (URL HIDDEN) Elgin Inn Hotel - The Elgin is the closest pub to the Lane House being only a 500 metre walk. It provides decent pub grub and weekly meal specials. Parks - The area is covered in parks especially on the banks of the Yarra river. Only a short walk from the Lane House these provide endless options for walking and cycling including a path to the city.

Easy to access, the lane way house is perfectly situated, quite and private - exactly what I needed after a long day of travel.   • The room at Wei's apartment was perfect for the two of us. The house and common areas were very clean and it was great to have access to all amenities like the washing machine, fully equipped kitchen and also a big TV in the room with access to many shows - all of which made the house feel very homely. Wei was always readily available whenever we needed help and was mostly in a separate area of the house that is very smartly designed, thus ensuring that we also had as much privacy as needed. Despite being some distance away from the city, there are trams and buses that are a 10minute walk from the house that will take you into the city in approx. 30-40mins. There is also a big supermarket that is near enough to walk to where you can find all the groceries that you need. Wei and his girlfriend were kind enough to offer us a lift from and to the nearby train station since we had heavy luggages with us. Will definitely recommend their place to anyone looking to stay in Balwyn, Melbourne.

    Our lovely home is over a retail shop. This means you are staying right in the heart of Kew Junction. plenty of cafes and foodie stops such as the Tassal Flagship salmon store and George Calombaris' restaurant "Hellenic Republic" are within a 1 min stroll. Note multi level staircase may not be suitable for the elderly or young children. We can rent some stair guards if required for young children. There is a small rental fee of $30 for the stair guards the length of your stay. Just let us know after your booking and we will contact the rental company and book the stair guards for you and install them.
    Kew is an inner eastern suburb of Melbourne. Many private schools are located in Kew and offers families lovely amenities such as the Studley Park Boathouse and The Yarra Boulevard bike path. This Cycling track follows the Yarra river into the city.

  • Great spot in Kew right on the trainline, easy to get to the MCG and into town. Lots of great little spots to eat plus a Woolies and an independent grocer in easy walking distance. Lots of stairs and very old but in reasonable condition (if you have bad knees or hips, this is not for you!). Comfy beds and kids had a ball - lots of toys, games and DVDs. Great communication with host and easy check in and out. Nice quiet back entrance and a little courtyard for fresh air.

  • We had a fun night at Jason's place. 5 of us and stayed which was good as I'm not sure how 13 people fit in there. I'd also recommend taking more glasses if more than 4 ppl are staying. The stairs were very steep, which I had read reviews about, so it was not that easy to get up and down quickly between kitchen and lounge. Also the wifi didn't work to start with, but Jason was responsive and fixed it, and the air con remotes weren't working, so the owner dropped around some batteries, and then we weren't too sure how to make them work! The triple level bunk was interesting and maybe not that great for adults... but the area is great, a couple of lovely coffee places nearby and the tram is close and easy to catch.

  • Wei, my host, was very welcoming and took care of everything well in advance. All facilities were provided as mentioned in his listing. I asked for an additional desk (study table) for work and Wei promptly added a good desk. What added more to my stay was the gorgeous neighborhood, the homey, aesthetically done and very clean accommodation. The location of Wei's house too is pretty convenient. Trams are just 8-10 minutes of walk away (direct tram to CBD), Coles, the grocery shop, is very close by too. Given I went to Melbourne for work, Wei's home was a perfect retreat after end of work everyday. If I visit Melbourne again I would most certainly like to opt for Wei's house as my accommodation.

  • I stayed at Wei's place for five days, the accommodation was just like the description, if not better. The room was just great the beds felt like heaven, honestly like you were floating on a cloud haha! Though getting there with public transport can be a little tricky it is definitely worth the extra 15 min walk from the nearest train station or the 5 min walk from the busstation. I really can't say anything more, all the facilities such as the bathroom and kitchen were as you wanted them to be. Overall my stay was quick and pleasant. Thanks Wei for the easy stay!

    Our home has 2 bedrooms - the main bedroom has a double bed with walk-in robe. The second bedroom has 3 single beds - a bunk bed with an additional trundle. All beds are brand new and sure to provide a good night's rest. There is also plenty of toys, books and games to keep the family entertained! The large open-plan living/dining area has a gorgeous cathedral ceiling and contains a spacious and fully equipped modern kitchen. There is a 6 seater dining table and a very comfortable lounge area (with a double fold-out couch if additional bedding is required). The floor to ceiling windows let in an abundance of natural light and leads on to a compact and functional courtyard ideal for outdoor dining.
    Our charming Victorian home is situated in the safe and beautiful Eastern suburb of Kew. It is conveniently positioned near some of the city's best attractions and is easily accessible to the CBD and Melbourne's famous sports precinct (Richmond). Our home is also just a 5-10 minute walk to both Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn and High Street, Kew where you will be spoilt for choice with amazing cafes, restaurants, clothing and book stores, toy shops and major supermarkets, bakeries and butchers. It is a short drive to the trendy hangouts of Bridge Road (Richmond), Brunswick Street (Fitzroy) and Smith Street (Collingwood). We have left a list of our favourite places in our home and would be happy to provide any other recommendations upon request!

  • Thank you Wei & Ting for being very responsive to our requests during our stay. The photos and descriptions are very accurate, the room is spacious and it will be a great place if you have a car. If not, the tram ride to the city is indeed almost 50 minutes and do factor in the time walking out to the tram stop and waiting time as well. Box Hill Central is also a short tram ride away, and it has all the amenities we needed. As for laundry, they have installed a coin operated tumble dryer which half an hour might not dry the clothes enough, but the heated drying closet is useful especially during this cold weather.

    Professionally styled bungalow with comfortable queen bed, fold down sofa bed, bathroom, laundry and kitchenette . Bus at end of street and train 15 min walk away. Local shops and Woolworths supermarket within easy walking distance.
    The bungalow is in our backyard, separate from our house. It has it's own entrance. Above the unit is a small unit so it is possible to hear some noise from time to time. We have two children who also enjoy our yard here and there during daylight hours. We are not noisy and try to be respectful of our guests. We are very quiet in the evenings. There is a 24 hour Woolworths supermarket within easy walking distance. kitchenette with small fridge stocked with complimentary milk. Induction cook top with pots and pans, Microwave, toaster, kettle, Caffitaly coffee maker with coffee pods, wine and champagne glasses, cutlery and crockery. Split system aircon/heater and the unit has excellent insulation so stays lovely and warm in winter and cool in summer. There is a super comfortable, new crown posture queen bed fitted with hotel quality linen. All my linen comes from a professional linen hire company which ensures it is clean and 100% hygienic. The sofa folds down to a bed and we can also provide a porta cot. Lovely soft lighting. Wifi is free, large tv with NETFLIX and DVD player on request. European laundry with washing machine, dryer and laundry liquid provided. You can use the clothes line attached to our house. Please put fan on in bathroom if using dryer. Towels, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. There is a table and chairs outside the bungalow for your use. You are welcome to use the facilities in our back yard, cubby, sand pit, trampoline and swing set. We have a 13 year old dog who is deaf and almost blind. He is very well trained and never jumps up on people. He spends most of his time in our house or belly up on the lawn in the sun. However if you are afraid of dogs we would be happy to keep him in the house during your stay. Please let us know. You can park in our driveway or park on the street if you are coming with a car. If you are staying with us for an extended stay or would like me to clean the unit during your stay just let me know. The charge is the same as my current cleaning fee. Of course I always provide ample towels and linen and you are welcome to change the bedding yourself and clean at your leisure.
    Ashwood is a quiet family neighbourhood 14 km to the Melbourne CBD. The Monash freeway M1 is only a few minutes from us. It is a 5 min drive or short bus ride (bus at end of our street) to Chadstone Shopping Centre - Melbourne's largest suburban shopping complex. There is a 24 hour Woolworths supermarket within easy walking distance and a 7/11 at the end of our street. Ashwood has a good Thai place and there are some quality coffee places nearby. Lots of parks are nearby and the Gardiners creek walking/ riding track which leads all the way to the city is only a few streets away. The Ashburton pool and recreation centre is also a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. Camberwell market is a 15 min drive.

The little home has everything especially when you travel with kids, the playground at the backyard is a gem. My son enjoyed so much play time with her kids back there. Her kids and dog are so friendly & cute. It's direct to Melbourne biggest shopping mall - Chadstone by bus. Myki cards are provided. Miss the place already. Will definitely come back again.

  • Taylor & David made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to please us. Even providing bagels and egg dip for us on arrival and again during our stay. We were using the premises as a central hub while we were looking for a property to purchase in Melbourne and this position was very central and had easy access to most major roads so we were able to navigate to a number of suburbs easily. Shops and restaurants were in walking distance from the premises. The unit was clean and well equipped with everything we required.   • Kikky and Bill are great hosts. We really enjoyed staying at their home. They are so open and interested in get to know new people from other countries. They themselves travelled a lot and "want to give something of their good experiences back to other backpackers", so they said. The house is very nice and clean and there are really all facilities you need. Getting to the city center of Melbourne takes half an hour with public transport. I just can reccommend to stay at Bill's and Kikky's home! We had a great time there!

I love it.... but don't worry about the hot weather, the room got fans and aircon to cool down on your big bed. everything in him photos are 100% accurate. Patrick is so friendly and thoughtful host, if you are couple or family looking for a peaceful and comfortable environment, this place definitely suit for you.   • Wow! What more can I say. Ibrahim and Beste have a lovely fresh home, close to a train station, trams and a bus, so while it isn’t in the middle of the city it’s so easy to get around. They were such accommodating hosts and provided us a bunch of tips on cool local places to hit. They opened all spaces in their home up to us not just the room, which was awesome.     Our place is located in a leafy quite garden suburb. It's close to public transport, shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking spaces available on side road in front of our place. I always enjoy my walk getting to/coming back from the station looking at the beautiful trees around the neighbourhood as I walk passing them.

    Fully equipped new apartment located within stone's throw of trains and buses. Located on a large heritage property. Apartment has been converted from the original horse stables. Neighborhood is full of cafes,restaurants and village like atmosphere.
    We are located in the leafy eastern suburb of Surrey Hills. Our property is over half an acre with beautiful gardens and a large heritage home. The original horse stables have been converted into a guest house which is the apartment available for rent. It is located at the rear of the property which provides peace and privacy. The apartment has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area downstairs. The living area has a sofa bed which converts to a second queen bed. French doors from living area lead out to private courtyard space for eating/reading. Upstairs is a bedroom with a Queen size bed, writing desk and ensuite bathroom with a basin, toilet and walk-in shower. The wardrobe is custom built with plenty of storage. Full linen service is provided. A washing machine and dryer are located in an out-house next to guesthouse which you are very welcome to use. Please note we have a small cavoodle who just adores meeting new people. She will want to say a brief hello. If you would prefer not to have her company, please let me know and I will ensure she keeps her distance.
    150 metres away is Union Road village which is full of cafes, restaurants, post office, bank, car hire, bakeries and pharmacy etc. Hamilton Street, Mont Albert is another unique village with many cafes and small shops just 700 metres away.

  • That place is pretty well situated. It is a cute space with a nice view on the trees and very very private which is great. Most things to cook easy meal and clean. Shower is clean and big enough. Just for us, it was very very very small with our 2 luggages. Also, a little bit noisy with the neighbour's dog barking, and in the room we can hear the host (talking or walking) on the level above. And if you have heavy luggage the pathway to go down or up is a bit adventurous. Except that it is a quite nice place to stay.

    Emilia House is Victorian house in the Italianate architectural style. It was built in 1882, after two years of construction. Emilia House is a happy home and has enjoyed a wonderful, interesting history. It was originally built by the local Surrey Hills governing authority and was used for a range of community purposes. Generous, luxurious accommodation with two separate living rooms, private well kept gardens and an abundance of herbs, roses and a micro-orchard for your enjoyment!
    There are plenty of restaurants, larger supermarkets, cafes and other shops a 5 minute drive away. If you feel like a pleasant, casual outing, we recommend a 10 minute stroll to Acorn Nursery, Beatrice Avenue. Acorn has a café where you can enjoy lunch, coffee and/or wine in the beautiful surroundings of the nursery and gift shop.

Chadstone Shopping Centre is easily accessible with a direct bus a few metres from our home. Additionally, Deakin University is approximately a 5 minute drive away.

What makes the stay great was the host themselves, Bronte and her partner were both very friendly and generous, offered me dinner few times,happy to talk and happy to give you privacy, very flexible with checking in as she picked me up from the train station even though it was late at night and she had a long day that day. Overall, I highly recommend this place for everyone else ! Thnx Bronte and Neal for letting me stay for two more weeks I really appreciate it, all the best wishes :)

  • Bronte and Neil were really friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The house has a really nice zen vibe to it, will lots of nice little furnishings (like a bamboo umbrella for a bulb shade, and a retro diner booth in the kitchen). The entire house was very clean. The pantry has a myriad of herbs and spices that Bronte was kind enough to let me use. There is also a really neat movie room with projector (Neil is a big movie buff). The location is good; it's close to several public transport options. Couldn't recommend Bronte's place enough. And the cat is really friendly too!

  • Me and my friend were looking for a place for a short stay until our apartment was ready for our move in also in the same suburb. We loved Bronte and Neil's place, it got this homey feel when you stay and it is located close to Box Hill Central. The street where they are situated has lots of trees and is quiet. 7 eleven is just around the corner and so does tram 109 that takes you to the city. Their house is pretty neat. They totally respect your privacy. Bronte is also very easy to talk to since I had some extension requests. I enjoyed the little evening chats we had in their backyard porch. They also have a super friendly cat, Sam! This was my first Airbnb experience and I must say it was definitely good! Great value too! Totally will recommend this listing for those looking for short stays 😊

  • Ji and her husband are awesome hosts. Their townhouse is bright, spacious and clean with high ceilings and street access directly accross from a nice large park. The living room and master bedroom windows have nice views of the park. It's perfectly central in Box Hill. There's great air conditioning in every room, and fast WIFI. They also respond very quickly and answers questions right away. Parking spaces at the back are safe, and their garage is empty for use. They went out of their way to prepare amenities handy for use during our stay. There is a private courtyard at the back which has easy access to the unit's allocated car park. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • Ji’s place was very affordable and better than what I had expected! Upon arrival she met us for check in and gave us the keys to her townhouse. All the amenities were provided and she went the extra mile to provide other things like towels, shampoo, coffee, tea, milk and drinks, which was fantastic and a great bonus! The beds were decent, rooms upstairs were modern and clean. The private carpark at the back of the townhouse was very convenient as we had a car! Box Hill is a great location and is close to many restaurants, shops and is close walking distance to the public transport nodes. Across the road is a beautiful spacious park good for running and relaxing in. We would definitely recommend Ji’s place and would love to stay there next time.

    My husband and I live in this house with our two small adorable dogs and rabbit. We have a lovely backyard which is shaded by a big tree. Great place to relax and chill. Netflix is available our large flat screen tv and surround sound system. Free wifi. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and study desk We share a very comfortable bathroom and separate toilet. Feel free to soak in the bathtub after a stressful day. Laundry facilities are available.
    We live in a quiet residential street in a great location close to box hill central and Deakin University. Kingswood College is 3 minutes walk away. If your'e feeling active, then Gardiner's Creek is just down the road. Great walking trail.

Her lovely Airbnb is located very close (less than 5 min walk) to main trainline to the CBD and bus and tram stops just outside the frontdoor. She took me out into the city along with another visitor and helped us see the main sights (above and beyond!!) and we shared a lot of time together in the evenings which I loved, but I was also able to keep to myself when I was too tired. I couldn't have wished for a more friendly, sociable, and understanding live-in host. Truly feel like I have gained a friend through this amazing Airbnb experience. Your home away from home ideal for a family, or for the business traveller looking for a quiet and comfortable place. Nestled in Surrey Hills, just around the corner next to Camberwell, this lovely suburban home is just a hop onto public transport and only minutes away from shops and cafes.
    Spacious cosy unit, nicely overlooking a front garden with excellent natural light during the day. There is a newly fitted and fully equipped kitchen, and a renovated open plan living area with air conditioning to accommodate your guest or family. Bright master bedroom looks out onto the open back porch and plants, and a spacious 2nd bedroom has 2 long single beds. There is a sofa (double) bed which we will setup with sheets and pillows in the living room for the extra accommodation when required.
    The unit is set in a leafy residential suburb on the border of Surrey Hills and Camberwell. You are only a walk away to local shops and cafes, and only 5 minutes by tram to the heart of Camberwell Shopping Centre, Rivoli Theatre and their wonderful Sunday Morning Market. Or 2 to 3 minutes by tram to the closest Woolworths supermarket at Mid Camberwell. Just down the road is South Surrey Park, a very pretty creek for everyone and the friendly wildlife. Just take a nice short evening stroll to realise why this was once home to the indigenous people, while listening to birds singing. Your kids would also love the wonderful children’s playground.

  • This house is located in the very nice suburb of Surrey Hills and a short (30 min) walk to Deakin University. Sunny and Meiliana were outstanding hosts. Meilinana met us at the house when we arrived to help us get oriented. We were planning to use the public transit during our stay, so we didn't have a car. It was so helpful when Sunny drove us to the grocery store on our first day and also to get our transit pass set up. We had a couple of small issues, and Sunny was always quick to respond. The number 70 tram is just a couple minute walk from the house and takes you into the CBD. The house is very nice and comfortable. We strongly recommend it.

  • We had a great stay in Surrey Hills. The location is fantastic with the tram stop only metres away. Our children also loved walking to Surrey Park and enjoying the playground. The unit itself is gorgeous, very clean, well furnished with everything needed provided. Our host was wonderful, very accommodating, friendly and responded to any queries super quickly. We would definitely recommend and looking forward to returning for another stay in the future.

  • We cannot say enough good things about our stay in Sunny and Meiliana's beautiful AirBnB! The location was perfect, just steps to the tram stop which we used to go downtown Melbourne and to St Kilda's. A couple great coffee shops are less than a 5 minute walk away and the area is quite pleasant and residential, feels very comfortable. Communications with both Sunny and Meiliana are great, prompt, courteous and very pleasant. The house was perfect for our stay and offered everything we wanted. They are both such gracious hosts, would definitely recommend staying here and will do so again if we're ever back in beautiful Melbourne!

    Want a convenient place but avoid overcautious with the owner? This room could suit you: 1. Quiet but 50 meters to Mont Albert Train Station, supermarket and restaurants. 2. 25 minutes to the city. 3. Close to top schools, colleges and universities. This high-ceiling room (11M2) has a queen size bed, study table, chair and free wifi, no private bathroom and toilet.
    Convenient! Convenient!! Convenient!!! Train Station, supermarket and restaurants are all around the corner.
    Mont Albert is one of the best suburb in Melbourne. You can travel around Melbourne from here by train or bus. City Center and Chadstone Shopping Center are both with 10km away.

  • I've never met Hans but he promptly answered my calls and a lady met me to hand me the keys when I arrived. The place is nice, and it feels a bit like a hostel but much cleaner and with only two other girls to share it with. There are new floors and new bed, a place to hung your clothes, a nice desk, and the kitchen has everything you need. Only two problems were the little water from the shower (lots of boiling water but almost no cold one to even the overall temperature - maybe the whole bathroom could benefit from some renovations) and the all place was very very cold. But there was a nice new electric heater in my room so I just spent most of my time in there while I was in the building. Free Wi-Fi is a big benefit if you spent long time in your room

  • Hans? Absolutely unbelievable service. He went out of his way to accomodate our very late arrival after we drove down from Sydney. The room was big and clean, and the amenities were just right. The location is a two minute walk to the station, with an extremely good coffee shop opposite and even two Op shops next door, the news agency and hair salon. It is difficult to find a better location in Melbourne. In addition, he can do all your laundry! Thank you Hans for being perfect host. We will be coming back definitely.

    This is five bedrooms house with two bathroom. Most furniture and household stuff are bought from IKEA. We like simple and comfortable style.
    Balwyn is a pretty, hilly suburb 10kms east of Melbourne. It has always been regarded as a prestigious area, full of exquisite period homes, but there are also some beautiful gardens glistening in Balwyn’s crown. It’s a pleasant, relatively quiet area with a gorgeous cinema and some lovely cafes. Balwyn has a gentle pace – there’s no neon here, but the showstoppers are the jaw-droppingly beautiful period homes and the well-maintained public parks and gardens in the area. Whitehorse Road is where you’ll find most shops, cafes and amenities, including the Balwyn Cinema – pop in to the charming Arthur Radley cafe (a couple of doors up) for a glass of bubbles, before settling in to the French Film Festival, an annual event at the Balwyn. Balwyn’s homes are an enviable array of historic mansions and warm, roomy, period homes perfect for families.
