Vacation Rentals in Strawberry

Just booked in Strawberry

This studio guest house overlooks the East Verde River five miles outside of Payson Arizona. The guesthouse has a full bath, dorm room fridge, microwave and hotplates. Barbecue on the porch. Easy access to hiking, fishing, swimming and biking.
A detached studio guest house with an apartment kitchen, the house overlooks the East Verde River with its own entrance and lots of privacy.
Small, rural neighborhood five miles outside of Payson -- lots of vacation and second homes. A short dirt road to get to the house. It's country living at a laid-back pace. One caution: Cell phones mostly don't work at the house. Internet is painfully slow.
  • Peter's place was very interesting and made for a unique experience. I wish I had more time to explore around.

    Mimi2016-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our experience was wonderful. The view was great and the sound of the river was very relaxing. Definitely would love to come soon.

  • My wife and I had a wonderful relaxing time in Peter's romantic riverfront hideaway. It was a pleasure meeting Peter in person and he was very accommodating in extending our stay one more day. As a previous editor for Arizona Highways, Peter is very knowledgeable about Arizona and was very informative on what to do and see around Payson. We look forward to future stays to see the Fall colors and the snow up on the Mogollon rim!

  • We had a very relaxing time, our pups had a nice time to. Injoyed being high up. Thank you. See ya again

  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Peter's riverfront hideaway! The scenery was beautiful and inside of the cabin was so cozy and welcoming. We loved the wood fired stove to keep the place warm! It was very easy to use and really gave the feel of "camping in the woods". We used the grill to make all of our meals and didn't have any issues. The place was stocked with plates, cups, cooking and eating utensils and spices for cooking. What a nice touch! The bed was nice and comfortable and a hearing blanket was included - nice for the chilly nights! We loved the collection of old VHS movies and there was speakers to plug our phones into to listen to music. We had no trouble finding the place and Peter was very quick to respond with any questions we had. What a perfect weekend getaway!

    Jaymee2016-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Can't say enough great things about staying here! Walking trails and river access are right outside the door! Just a quick drive to Payson for great food! The hosts were great and super easy to communicate with - would definitely come back here!

    Danielle2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • We came here 4th of July weekend to celebrate the 4th and my boyfriends birthday. I couldn't of asked for a more relaxing weekend. We went fishing on river in front of the house and grilled out on the porch at night. There's a mini fridge that fit meals and beer for 2 days. The place was clean and the queen bed was very comfortable. Peter was accommodating and left us a key inside. I also enjoyed reading the "Arizona rivers" book that he wrote :) We will definitely return to this little cabin!

Quiet neighborhood, great neighbors. View of the pond from the deck and backyard is amazing! We often see elk, and certain seasons bring ducks and blue herons, among others. You'll also see woodpeckers, squirrels, robins, and occasionally a javelina.
  • We absolutely loved staying at the house. we had a feeling of being right at home. their hospitality was out of this world welcoming... look forward to definately staying again.

    Tina2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great. Strawberry is quiet and beautiful. The cabin is clean and orderly. They have a pond just out their back door which attracts elk and birds. The deck is perfect for relaxing during a warm summer rain. Will definitely be back!

    Karen2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was everything that was promised and more! We drove down from Utah for a weekend get away and were overjoyed with the area and the views. There are neighbors near by, but it was so quiet all weekend we never had an issue relaxing. We loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the air. Beautiful home, wonderful hosts! We will definitely be back!

  • Great place!

  • Marilyn and Glen's cottage was absolutely perfect and met all our needs. The cottage was clean, roomy, and had a very homey feel to it. We loved the welcome gift and all the information regarding the surrounding areas. Marilyn and Glen were very accommodating during our stay and were easy to get in touch with. We will definitely use them for our next stay in Strawberry.

    Candice2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great escape from the valley. The house was actually what we needed. We traveled two kids and to adults and our dog. The kids used the loft area and had plenty of space. Kitchen was perfect and to porches were amazing. Be ready for the stars, from the back porch they are amazing. There fenced yard was huge for our kids and especially our dog, we had no worries. Marilyn and Glen were extremely easy to communicate, we can't wait to go back!

    Amy2017-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Marilyn and Glens place. It was beautiful and they provided great amenities such as towels, toothbrushes, soaps, sparkling ciders, kitchen appliances, etc. The coffee maker didn’t work well but everything else did. They even set up a mini Christmas tree. It was pretty surrounded by neighbors so you have to drive down the road to explore the woods. But overall, we loved it. Thank you for sharing your home with me and my family for Christmas!

Wood burning fireplace and home is situated on a 3/4 acre lot near national Forest area and hiking trails.
Home Situated in a Forested neighborhood near National Forest Area and close to Fossil Creek.
  • We had a great stay in this beautiful area. Our children are ages 3-9, and there were enough games and activities to keep them occupied the whole weekend. The porch was lovely. The area was quiet, the beds were comfortable, etc. The house was easy to find, though I think in the dark it might be tough to go up the driveway the first time. It was steep(ish) but was fine for even our minivan.

    Elizabeth2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is super cute and it looks like it's going to get even better as the owners are giving it some TLC. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is easy to cook in and it is definitely little kid friendly. Leila & Jeff, most excellent hostess & host, are very good at responding to questions in a timely fashion. Highly recommend this location for a family gathering.

  • This location is ideal for a large group of people and is very kid friendly. The house is clean, well kept, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. There is a nearby grocery store a few miles away in Pine, as well as a few restaurants. The location itself is in a residential area, but you are surrounded by forest. It is ideal to take long walks. There is also some hiking and creeks nearby.

Adorable home in Strawberry, AZ for you to enjoy. Lounge on the deck and welcome the sunrise with a steaming cup of coffee or tea, and take in the vibrant pink sunset with a Pinot Noir. Lots of hiking, antiquing, and sightseeing opportunities.
This house is so comfortable! It's nice to sleep with the windows cracked. You might hear some coyotes or elk during the night. The mornings and evenings on the deck are amazing. When it warms up you can open the French doors and the kitchen window and the breeze flows through the house. There are floor heaters in the guest rooms but honestly we've never needed them. The blankets on the beds and the wood stove in the living room keep the house toasty at night. The driveway is steep, so when there is a heavy snowfall or ice you would need to park up top at street level and walk down to the house. It doesn't happen very often but it does snow.
Quiet little neighborhood. You may see your neighbors walking dogs in the mornings or evenings.
  • Wow!! The country home in Strawberry was absolutely awesome! Paula and I kept in touch over the weekend through messages, she was the perfect host! The house was very clean an comfortable, all the beds were comfy and the fireplace gave the house a very cozy feel. The location was exactly what we were looking for coming from the city. We wanted a quiet peaceful area to enjoy hiking and northern Arizonas beauty for my birthday...and wow, did we ever get to enjoy it!! Paula was kind enough to leave directions to her favorite hiking trail and everything! It snowed during the night on our first night there and we woke up to a winter wonderland, literally. Best birthday weekend ever. Thanks Paula :)

    Annie2015-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful experience! The place itself is spacious, comfortable and charming, with a cozy wood stove for the evenings and a fabulous long deck looking over a wooded valley for the day time. I was there to a finish work on a book, and it was the perfect location. Total quiet (apart from the occasional dropping pine cone!) in a forest neighborhood with no traffic or distractions. Paula was an attentive long-distance host, quickly responding to all questions. I felt well cared for from beginning to end. Highly recommended.

    Jon2015-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect get away ! Such a great spot with everything you can possible need. Paula was such a gracious host and answered all my questions throughout the weekend. Gave some great tips on local spots for dining and hiking. I will definitely be booking with Paula again :) Couldn't have been any better.

    Candee2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Thw Country Home was perfect for us. We had 4 hunters staying here and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Beds were very comfortable and the fireplace kept us nice and warm. Paula was very quick to respond to any and all of our questions. Garage was a plus for us. We stored all of our hunting gear down there so we didnt have to take them upstairs everytime. I will definately stay here again. Might even rent it for a surpise weekend for my family! Thanks Paula, you went above and beyond what we were expecting.

    Kory2015-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We'll definitely consider this house again when we're back in the area, especially because of the elevated, wrap-around porch that overlooks the valley.

    meghan2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • The Country home was beautiful- very cozy and comfortable. Paula provided plenty of firewood for our use! She was very accommodating to our request to check in early in the day. The neighborhood was quiet, we only saw neighbors on two occasions. The driveway is steep and curved, but not bad. Loved the lock box for key access- on our last rental we had to schedule pick up and drop off of keys and it was too much of a hassle. The deck was big and stretched out on two sides of the house- we didn’t get to enjoy it as it was too cold during our trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

    Heidy 2015-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the country home was really great! Our host made us feel as if it were our home and she provided us with many supplies! In little words, it was an amazing experience and my family and I are definitely going to stay there again.

    Carlos2015-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • What a great experience! The house has amazing views and an even better wrap around deck than we expected based on the photos. Each room had comfortable beds and were appointed with towels, plenty of blankets and even fully stocked toiletries in both bathrooms. The house was very comfortable and we had a great time! Paula was easy to communicate with and the value was tremendous. I would definitely stay here again and/or recommend the property to a friend.

Fully stocked kitchen, laundry room with full size washer and dryer, ceiling fans in every room, Netflix, WiFi, Directv, clean linens, and towels. It features a Jacuzzi tub (sadly only for one but man is it relaxing), a separate shower, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. The living room has leather couch, love seat, and chairs that are being restored (hubs project). Downstairs you will find a second full bathroom in between the two bedrooms with shower/tub combo, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. The front yard has horseshoe pits and an outdoor firepit. P.S. If you're booking our cabin as a special romantic surprise get away and need a little extra something special like flowers, wine, champagne, etc. set up in advance please message the owner and we can help you out (at cost).
PLEASE be respectful (aka quiet) to and for neighbors. I don't know if it's the trees or the lack of bustling city traffic but WOW do voices carry here in the woods! My next-door neighbors live in Pine year round. The deer and elk that walk through our yard are surprisingly stealthy and do not spook as easily as you'd think! The 2yo bull elk who visits nearly every afternoon is named Lucky. He's the son of Lucy - the elk with the broken jaw and he will eat deer corn, carrots, & apples straight out of our hands. Pine is a small town with a population of about 1,900 with a grocery/liquor store, museum, library, post office, shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, even a hardware store, nail/hair salon, & two gas stations. Plus a Walmart, chain restaurants, etc are in Payson only 13 miles away. Acres of hiking, biking & ATV trails, waterfalls, swimming streams, boating, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, & golf all very nearby. In the white binder at the cabin you will find the cabin manual, house rules, some trail maps, and local restaurant menus. Please note: the cabin isn't only named PineTime because you're on vacation and there are no alarm clocks. It's also to remind you that PINE is also on it's own clock. Meaning, the local restaurants do NOT do things fast like the big city. They aren't overstaffed on weekends even though city logic would suggest it. This is a VERY small town with limited staff. So please don't leave them bad reviews simply because you had to wait. My 2¢.
  • This is a lovely home in Pine. We had our family reunion up there. Although most activities were at our cabin just a block away, this was a perfect set up. The cabin is large enough for up to 8, two bath and 3 bedrooms with one having bunk beds. If we had not had family in our group who were not able to walk up the stairs this would have been a great place for it. We have our own cabin in Pine and I can tell you from living here that people are all very friendly and helpful. And you won’t find a better cabin to stay at. The cabin, the grounds and the owners were lovely.

    Vicki2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • House was as advertised, we had a great time in Pine!

    Kc2017-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin is awesome. Love, love, love the large porch to sit on and capture the afternoon breeze while enjoying a beverage and watching the elk walk by! Great environment, hiking trails close by, decent reasonably priced restaurants close by if you don't feel like cooking. If you do want to cook, there's a grill or fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. Just bring the food and beverage of choice. Beds are super comfortable.

    Glenn2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • The rules are so onerous you'll think you're in a military barracks. And guess what? When you leave, you get to transport the garbage to the dump. We did not feel welcome.

    terry2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • The house was really nice and clean. It was perfect location and Jennifer was really fast at responding when we had any questions. Would definitely recommend to friends and would stay again! Perfect get away, and the snow was amazing!

    Raquel2015-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great time, the cabin was lovely... Jennifer was in constant communication with me, and made our stay like the cabin was ours... I recommend this as the perfect get-away for anyone who is looking for a peaceful weekend... Thank you!

    Ariana2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin itself was lovely with huge windows to let us stare out at the snow covered trees. Its open floor plan allowed us still cook in the kitchen and be connected with our friends on the couch or sitting at the dinning table. The host - Jennifer, was communicative and helpful before and during our stay. Due to a winter storm power was out in the area when we arrived. She spoke with the power company and the neighbors to provide us with what information she could.

    David2016-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer was incredibly warm, generous, and easy to work with. She was able to help us with our specific needs and had an amazing attitude through all of our conversations. Her home is beautiful and was even better than we imagined. The little town of Pine is quaint and perfect for a get-away. I would recommend this place to anyone and have it on my list of places for the future. Thank you!

Beautiful views, nature, wildlife. Quiet setting, large deck, hiking nearby, access to Verde River only a 12 minute drive. Tonto Natural Bridge also about 15 minute drive. Sledding in winter (when there's snow) is just about 20 minutes away.
This is a quiet neighborhood; we request no late night outdoor noise, so as not to bother the neighboring cabins.
  • This is a gem in Pine. Peaceful and beautiful setting in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to find, clean and comfortable. Patty is the caretaker and is wonderful. She has great local recommendations and happy to answer any questions. Cassandra was very easy to communicate with and so graciously accommodating with my last min booking. I will definitely be back!

  • Simply beautiful setting. Spacious home, plenty of gorgeous views off of the porch both upstairs and down. Plenty of roads and trails to walk nearby. If you are into good local flavor, definitely stop by the best restaurant in town, the old county inn. Place is unbelievably good! Just can’t say enough about this beautiful home. We will be back for sure!

  • Absolutely loved Shauna's cabin. Very clean, comfortable, warm & inviting. Feels like a time warp to grandma's house as a kid and it is the PERFECT place to just relax and unplug. Loved the beautiful view from the porch swing. Tucked back enough to feel like you've escaped the hustle & bustle, yet close to hiking trails to explore. We'll be back!

  • This is a very charming place tucked away in the woods past pine. The bedrooms are cozy, it's got a wonderful family room with a gas fireplace. We spent just a night with 2 little boys, 2 parents, and 2 grand parents - and it's just perfect for that sort of a party. Regarding the quality of the place and the professionalism of the hosts, there are highest ratings across the board. Super communication with the hosts and the cabin in ship shape...

    Gregor2017-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was great! The house was clean and well cared for. We had a great stay in this cozy, quiet neighborhood in beautiful strawberry!

  • The Host (Shauna) was very quick on answering all my texts and me and my family loved our stay, the house was better than I expected and super clean, beautiful neighborhood, I definitely recommend this house. Thanks Shauna for sharing your home.

    Kain2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect quiet getaway! Definitely worth the price and will stay again. Shauna is very friendly and a considerate host.

  • This is exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. A cozy mountain home with nice amenities. If you enjoy cooking the cabin has the all the appropriate material. Payson is 20 minutes south if you need to pick up any groceries for your trip. Our group likes to hike and there are a couple of great spots close by. Fossil creek to the waterfalls is a tough, but worthwhile hike. Try to go early in the day. Tonto is down the road and has short hikes around the park with some great climbing spots. But if you're looking for a nice spot in the mountains to sit and relax this will do just fine. Theres a nice front porch with a porch swing and a back yard area to lay and look at the stars.

    William2016-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a restful stay at Little Patch of Strawberry. The house was clean and we had all the instructions we needed for getting settled in. The neighborhood was quiet and we took a walk one evening after attending an arts and crafts event a few miles down the road. Thank you for opening your home up to us it was exactly what we needed!

Very quiet neighborhood. You may even see an elk or two wandering around.

  • Impeccably clean and wonderful place; loved it. Close to lots of hiking, camping, amazing views, and good driving roads, along with supermarkets and stores just 20 minutes to the south in Payson. FYI check your cellular coverage prior to planning a trip here.

  • This is an amazing house and property. Very clean and well maintained and stocked with everything you could need. Marji made us feel very welcomed and even had some fresh watermelon for us in the fridge. They have many games and puzzles as well as corn hole and horseshoes out side to keep you busy for hours. They also have a gas fire pit and everything you need to make s'mores. Can't say enough great things about this place. You will not be disappointed!!

    Charla L2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible! First, let's make one thing clear - this house is almost brand new. This isn't some rustic cabin that needs some TLC ... this is an amazing home located right at the edge of the forest. The owner has done a great job of describing this place online, so I'll highlight just a few of the reasons we loved our stay here: 1. The master bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the two other bedrooms. 2. The master bedroom has a private bathroom ... with an 8' shower that has a built-in seat. (My wife & I are tall, so this was really nice). 3. Excellent high speed internet connection + a Roku box with Netflix & such. 4. Full size kitchen with granite countertops. 5. Corner lot next to the forest. This place is incredibly quiet & peaceful. There is very little light pollution at night. 6. There is a big screen tv in one of the children's bedrooms. 7. Fantastic open floorplan for the living room / dining room / kitchen. This place truly is an amazing gem!

    Dave2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • A stay at Strawberry Bliss cabin will literally and figuratively take you to another place melting away the stress of life. Peaceful and beautiful with everything you need close by. You will be hard pressed to find anything to criticize. From seeing elk walking by in the nearby forest, discovering the red headed woodpeckers, the fun restaurants, antique shops and Tonto Natural bridge is a must. This is a special place you won’t regret visiting.

    Charles2017-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Simply awesome! Great location, perfect amenities, relaxing and quiet neighborhood, great view of the forest from the porch...love it!! Look forward to my next visit.

Cozy mountain cabin at the base of the Mogollon Rim. Walk or drive to Pine's cute walkable downtown that includes a brewery, a winery, ice cream shops, restaurants, and antique stores. Great location for seeing the snow and sledding this winter - I can point you to the best places for sledding. Ten minutes from Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. Lots of hiking in the area. Perfect cell phone reception. House has a TV, DVD player, wifi, and a Roku for streaming services.
The cabin is clean and tidy and will have all fresh linens, towels, washcloths, etc. The cabin has a nice flat yard with plenty of space for outdoor games, kids playing, and pets. The house has a window air conditioner in the second floor loft. However, air conditioning usually isn't necessary since the temperatures are very comfortable during the daytime, and downright cool at night when lows are down in the 60s even during the summer. Plus - you're really not coming here to sit inside all day!
This is a hilly residential area with paved roads and neighbors. It's very peaceful and scenic. There's a creek up the road. You'll often see elk, deer, and foxes roaming the neighborhood.
  • Amazing place, super cozy and eclectic, just what my family was looking for. Really close to great trails for hiking and great places to eat in Pine and Strawberry. Nick was always in communication and made our stay before Christmas one we'll remember for a very long time.

    Cory2017-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great location with views of the rim from the cabin! We stayed as a couple and had plenty of room, it’s a cute place and great to get away from the city.

  • Awesome place! It was great for 2 people, you can even have 4 people! It's in a nice little area too! And it is a good price! Do know that if you are allergic to dogs, you will be sneezing a little bit.

  • Very cute little cabin right in Pine. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Nicholas was very responsive to emails and made the stay very easy. The back yard had games, fire place and wild life.

    Leah2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our first trip to beautiful Pine. We had a peaceful stay and really enjoyed the neighborhood and area! Everyone is so friendly. The wildlife was amazing! We took a walk and a large elk bull and a young elk were walking down the street just ahead of us. Later a herd of about 20 elk came running between the cabins nextdoor to Nick's. Enjoyed the cooler temperatures. We had everything we needed. Nick was a great host at communicating information and he was quick to answer the few questions that we had.

    Lynne2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin. Great location. The backyard is an elk trail.

    Scott2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect for our family of four and young dog. The views were gorgeous, the neighbors very friendly, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Daily walks to the creek and pond down the street as well as interaction with the horse out back made this an extra special stay for young kids.

    Keegan2017-07-16T00:00:00Z

My place is close to great views.
  • Kandy was there to greet us and she made us feel right at home. She even had a bottle of wine and snacks for us (we don't drink alcohol, but the gesture was so nice). The little guesthouse was cozy and quiet, just what we like. The bed was comfortable, and everything clean. Kandy even let us borrow some bowls and spoons so we could eat our instant oatmeal for breakfast! The neighborhood is quiet and shady, with lots of interesting cabins and homes nestled into the pines, and we only had to walk one block to get to the forest itself and we were walking on trails amongst the oaks and pines. It was beautiful! We would definitely like to go back.

    Kolynn2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find! So glad I stayed at Kandy's instead of Flagstaff, the other location I was looking! The house is so quiet and private, and Kandy is so eager to make sure your stay is the best. I was pleasantly surprised by the size, it was bigger than I expected. Private attached bathroom. There is a winery in Pine, excellent food nearby, a goat/llama farm to tour and buy fudge and cheese at, and friendly neighbors everywhere. One even gave me a tomato right out of his garden without me asking! Kandy has brochures of local eateries and the Strawberry Market is just down the street. VERY clean and well kept, Kandy thank you for a memorable stay and for such a keen eye for details! Looking forward to staying with Kandy again : - )

    Stephanie2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Katy was a very welcoming and charming host. She explained us everything we needed (heat, A/C, shower, etc.) and we really enjoyed the little details in the room (she left some snacks, water and a bottle of wine). The room was very cosy and we slept very well in the bed. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place!

    Emilie2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Kandy's place was perfect!! Quiet, intimate, great location, clean and exactly what we were looking for as our get away. She even has a bottle of wine and snacks waiting for you. Added bonus, we even stumbled upon the last night of the meteor shower....the porch was perfect. Highly recommend....we will be back!

    Bob2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Good value, great quiet location if you want to get away. Kandy was a great hostess!

    David2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kandy was a great host. Her place with clean and quaint. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. No wifi is available, but that was actually a bonus. We will certainly be back.

    Stacee2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • There are very nice touchs, snacks, water, wine, etc. Kandi is very nice. I was a little taken back by her comment to not use too much toilet paper because of the septic tank. And even more taken back by the sign above the toilet "If it's yellow, Let it mellow." If you are worried about your septic tank, maybe you should rethink renting out your guest house. I thought it was very cute but needed updated, new carpet, paint, etc.. With the cost of a total of $114, I thought it was a little expensive for the room.

    Sherry2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived with Kandy waiting to welcome us with big smiles. The room was exactly as advertised and a great place to bunk for the night. The location was easy to find and the neighborhood exactly what you'd expect for a quaint little mountain town. The hospitality Kandy provides makes you feel like an honored guest at her home. We highly recommend this Cozy place to land!

Rustic cabin good for relaxation, peaceful and soothing. Close to Fossil Creek, hiking, antique shopping in Pine only 15 minute drive from the cabin. There are bar and restaurants in Pine. The town has seasonal festivals. It is great to take a drive into the mountain and park and have a picnic. There are four seasons.

    Christopher2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Where to begin with this beautiful cabin? First off, the pictures don't even do it justice; I was expecting it to be nice, but was still pleasantly surprised by just how nice it really was. The property is so peaceful and scenic. The cabin is cozy, yet the high ceilings and wraparound porch make it feel very spacious. The decor is plentiful and all in good taste. The place was immaculately clean, not a cobweb or speck of dust in sight. It has a very comfortable atmosphere. We had a trip planned for 4, but our babysitter bailed so Vicky was happy to accommodate our 3 year old as well. My daughter loved the property just as much as we did, especially when she discovered the great little playhouse in the front yard! The kitchen was stocked with all necessary tools to make full meals during our stay, and the fireplace and portable heater kept us warm during the night. The beds were very comfortable, and all bath towels/blankets nice and thick. My family was looking for a secluded, peaceful trip, and we found just what we wanted in this cabin. It is a short drive to get to any stores or anything, but the drive is beautiful so it's not a problem. The wi-fi had a small issue, but Vicky was ready to call and help immediately after I reached out, and we got the problem fixed easily. Tonto Natural Bridge is about 20 minutes from the cabin, and it is an absolute must-see. I could go on and on about this place, and my family can't wait to book with Vicky again in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation away from the hustle and bustle.

    Chelsea2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this place! It is in a perfect location to explore the trails of both National Forests (Tonto and Coconino). It is wonderfully comfortable with two very private bedrooms/bathrooms, a large living room and a well equipped kitchen. The wifi is very fast and was reliable the whole time we were there. Vicky was super helpful and very fast in her response to any questions. I would give this six stars if I could!

  • If you score a night at the Strawberry Inn, you're in for a huge treat! The rooms were beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in the dog-friendly suite and it was perfect for us. Close drive to many tasty restaurants, beautiful scenic areas, and very easy to find! Amber was extremely helpful with my dog and check-in questions and quickly accommodated us when we booked the day of. The room had nice touches such as local recommendations, coffee, a mini-fridge, a wine key, and more. We did not have cell service but we had internet and that was fine with us! Enjoy!

    Jessica2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • What a stylish renovation! It looks like something decorated by JoAnna Gaines from FixerUpper with white shiplap and gray furnishings. Loved the flower in the bathroom and bear bottle opener on the wall. It is extremely clean and fresh. Bed is foam bed, super comfy and we loved the soft linens. Slept amazing! Coffee and coffee maker in the room made mornings nice. Cute patio chairs out front to enjoy the evening. Easy to find!! We stayed in one of the adjoining rooms (#2 and #3) and could hear neighbors on that side whispering. But then we found the white noise machine provided by hosts, and that helped! I think any other room would be just fine, as we could not hear neighbors on other side. If there was one suggestion, I'd suggest more than one tiny bar of soap (maybe one for sink, and one for shower?) and include conditioner. Overall we loved our stay. Great for hikers, water sports people, and escaping the Phoenix heat. The hotel had lots of young families and the children made friends. :)

Enjoy a relaxing mountain retreat in the pines with all the amenities of home. The cabin boasts a huge covered porch with beautiful views!! Gather the whole group in the living room and enjoy a fire, or for a romantic trip relax in the loft and enjoy the private deck. Pine is a beautiful quaint town and offers plenty of relaxing and outdoor activities nearby including Fossil Creek and Tonto Natural Bridge. Guests with pets, please message us directly for deposit and authorization info.
In a town full of cabins and retreats the "City Slicker" cabin offers a combination of privacy, amazing views, great outdoor space, the comforts of home and an extremely comfortable inside with a fireplace and gorgeous high ceilings and wood paneling. This is truly a one of a kind, can't miss place. This is the perfect place to build memories with your own family and friends. (Note: All furs and decorations are synthetic no animals were harmed to add to the cabin feel)
The neighborhood is an amazing combination of full time residents and vacation homes. There are trees and foliage all over, and you are bound to see at least a few deer if not whole families. Don't be surprised if more than a couple people waive to you like you're a long lost friend. There is an outstanding brewery with great beer and food a few min drive or a 20 min walk. You have a everything you need in Pine, including a local grocery store, gas station, couple diners/restaurants, farmers market, hardware store, wine tasting, local bar and plenty of scenic views along the way!!
  • Great cabin, awesome location. I really enjoyed everything about this place. Tons of furniture (inside and out), kitchen was stocked with everything, very cozy feeling, and it was kind of secluded up on a hill, so we really didn't see anyone else. Plenty of space for the 7 people we had with us. plus, the big front porch was connected to the side yard with gates/fences, so my puppy could run freely from end and not get out!

    Andrew2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice cabin, served all of our needs. Relaxing peaceful environment, very close to town. Enjoyed the deer and elk in the area. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit beneath stars like we've never seen. Anthony made this experience very easy for us and was always available if we had a question. We plan to visit again and will recommend to friends.

  • This cabin was very nice and cozy for a weekend get away. The house came with everything we needed and more then what we expected.

    Mikayla2016-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was amazing and great for a relaxing time. The porch was very inviting and we enjoyed the views along with the fresh brewed coffee. During the late evenings we had a great time sitting by the fire place. Pine is a great small town and I highly recommend checking out the brewery down the street. Anthony was in constant communication and he ensured that we had everything we needed during our short stay.

    Adrian2016-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The place is great and well-secluded if you want a great cabin get-away. It is still pretty close to town if you need to get some necessities but the nature scene around there is gorgeous (especially the night sky). Cabin was very warm, cozy, and comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean and comfortable! Loved the fireplaces and the game selection they offered! Definitely had everything we could possibly need so you only need to mainly bring food and drinks. Anthony was a great host and very responsive to the questions we had. Definitely will consider this place again when we visit again!

  • Nice secluded location with great accommodations. Great place for a couple or small family to get away. This is the place you think about if you want a quite place to write a book. For those who hike its minutes from the Az trail and Tonto national bridge. The elevated deck is great and the swing is a great place to relax after taking those long hikes. I recommend bringing your own BBQ gas grill if you like to grill. Fire danger is typically high during summer so the outdoor fire pit and charcoal grills are unusable. There are plenty of TV's in the cabin in case you can't stand the peace and quite. Kitchen is well furnished.

  • We stayed at Anthony's cabin in March of 2017 and had a relaxing, enjoyable time. It is in a quiet location, and perfect for those that just want to get away from the busyness of everyday life, while not being so far away that you can't get what you need or have some fun or interaction with others if that's what you choose to do. Payson is a nice, 15-20 minute drive away and has everything you are likely to need, while Pine has the basics. That being said, we even were able to get a tire flat repaired in Pine, so I guess it depends on what you need! There is lots of great hiking around, on or off the beaten trails, and a notable natural feature worth seeing within 10 minutes drive is the Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. We also enjoyed a couple days of skiing at Arizona Snowbowl which is just outside of Flagstaff and is a destination within reach for the avid skier! We took in a drive down Hwy 260 along the Mogollon Rim toward Show Low and returned via the Salt River Canyon and back to the cabin past Roosevelt Lake. Another beautiful day of driving, hiking, and we didn't miss out on the opportunity to try a couple new restaurants along the way! Anthony's Cabin was nicely situated for our vacation plans and we found it to be fully stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable. It has all the comforts of home like dishwasher, laundry, fireplace, deck, barbecue, as well as a fire pit area that we took advantage of almost every night to roast marshmallows and watch the stars. It is unbelievable how many more you can see when you come to this little cabin away from all the light pollution of the crowded cities! Absolutely stunning! Back to reality, Internet worked when we needed it, Cabin has a cosy, cottage like feel, and Anthony replied to any queries quicker than I could walk to the front desk in most hotels. Good going Anthony! You have impressed us on our first time using AirBnB! All the best and hope we can come back again! P.S. We also saw over 130 elk from 45 miles away to within 100 feet of the cabin during our stay. Anthony had told us we would see wildlife, but we never expected it in that kind of abundance!

  • The current pictures don’t capture the beauty and uniqueness of this house, you will be impressed when you arrive! The hosts were great, easy to reach and very thorough introducing you to the place when you arrive. They have local restaurant menus and maps to help you figure out your stay. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are an open floor plan, comfortable seating for 4 adults on the reclining sofa and actual recliner plus a dining room table for 4. Nice size TV in living room with DirectTV and Netflix. Decor is modern but cabin like, no clutter at all, and clean. Ceiling fans in living room. Wood flooring. Windows easy to open, living room/dining area has great windows for a view, and nice window shades throughout the house, bedrooms stays nice and dark when closed. Both bedrooms have windows, ceiling fans and TVs. Master bed is comfy and extra pillows available if needed. Master bath attached to room and has double sinks. Plenty of towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and grill for the weekend. Host left some basic essentials for us to use like milk, eggs, bread, breakfast items and condiments. Note, No dishwasher or garbage disposal. Checked out the farmers market in pine, open year around, bought some nice veggies, the bakery items were good also. Residential area, easy to find, driveway is steep like pictures indicate, just go slow and we had no issues in our suv. Outside you can hear local dogs barking and ATV riders but didn’t bother us. Great views in backyard. Beware of backyard when bringing dogs/kids, it’s not completely enclosed. Outside seating area was nice and comfy, grill worked well. Host stays in 5th wheel at bottom of property, didn’t appear to be there most of the time. Overall, our stay was fantastic. Exactly what we were looking for to relax. Would definitely stay again.

  • The view is great and it's very nice if u don't have small children because yard is not safe or if you have a lower vehicle because the driveway is steep and we scraped bottom every time we went in and out. The inside of house is very comfortable and equips weth what we needed.

  • Gina and Keith's house in Payson is very nice and they are very responsive and thoughtful hosts. They greet you at check in and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Beautiful, clean home. Thank you for sharing with us and responding to any questions we had. I would love to come back.

  • Truly lovely home close to hiking trails and all the great bars and antique shops in Pine. Perfect layout for a small family or couple. Bathrooms and kitchen are modern and everything is in great condition.

  • We stayed only one night but the place was amazing and we highly recommend it. The photos don't quite do it justice. The living room is beautifully spacious, has an unbelievably comfortable reclining sofa and a TV with premium streaming services. The wifi is excellent and the house has a landline that was available to us as well. The kitchen is not only fully equipped to prepare any kind of meal but the hosts included lots of food options for us to enjoy (eggs, banana, oatmeal, milk, etc.). On arrival Keith welcomed us and gave us a very detailed and helpful introduction to the house and the area including hiking options and restaurants (we ended up having dinner at Old County Inn and thought the salad and pizzas were amazing; we had lunch at "That Brewery" and the chili was excellent). Gina's was super helpful and prompt with her messages thru the app before, during and after our stay. Top notch communication. We are superhost and have traveled the work on Airbnb. This is a highly recommended Airbnb and great set of hosts.

  • Kieth was awesome, very informative and made us feel right at home. He is a great ambassador to the Town of Strawberry and Pine. You should be ready to enjoy your home away from home thanks to Gina and Keith. We will be back. Tony and Julie.

An older cabin with outdated carpet surrounded by beautiful tall pine trees. Enjoy the peaceful large deck or soak in the Jacuzzi under the thousands of stars at night. Great location close to the town store and restaurants.
  • Nice cabin, we enjoyed our relaxing stay. Best part was the great hot tub! Would stay again. Thanks!

  • Real cabin!! It was great to be in the woods, nice cabin neighborhood. There was snow on the ground the whole time, rained a little. The cabin was large and had basic dinnerware. Jacuzzi was fun to use in the cold. Steve is great at communication. If you are planning on cooking, bring your own pots but great stay!

    Zach2015-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. Very kid friendly and perfect for families on a budget! The cabin was as described, and the host returned my messages with a few questions in a timely manner. I would stay here again!

    Johanna2015-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I loved the cabin very relaxing. The kids loved the space inside and outside to play in and be adventurous! We would definitely stay there again.

    Kim2016-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time using AirBNB and my wife and I desperately needed to get away. Finding Steve's cabin in AirBNB was easily, and learning we could bring our dog just sent us over the moon. Our dog has never been outside of the city, so I'm pretty sure he thought we took him to another planet. Everyone in town wanted to pet him, so he was a big star there while we were visiting. I really want to write horrible things about this place to convince you not to go, that way it will be more available to my family for future visits! :) The bottom line is that this is not the Ritz. Nor is it a corporate-owned cabin for hire. This is just like staying at friends or family-members cabin. It needs a little work, but with having complete strangers potentially damage any new work or furniture, why bother? I totally get it. We cleaned up after ourselves. I only wish we had brought bar-soap for the showers and sinks. That was the only thing missing, and we did find some used bar soap hidden away in the upstairs bathroom vanity. Both liquid soap dispensers in both bathrooms were full, but the pumps were broken, which made washing hands a bit more difficult. We cleaned up after ourselves and returned the cabin back a little better than it was left to us. We can only hope other people will do the same and show some respect and gratitude for Steve opening up his place like this to complete strangers. That's just awesome! We'll definitely be visiting again and again and again.

    Carey2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • It was nice to spend some time in the mountains. Cabin was quite spacious--plenty of room for me, my husband, our two girls and three dogs. It was run down but everything was functional. The previous guests had been smokers, and the smoke smell was overwhelming the first day/night. I opened windows/doors, washed the linens, wiped down every surface and misted everything with Fabreeze the next day which it was a little more bearable. The Pine/Strawberry/Payson area is quaint.

    Jennifer2016-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Location is off of the main strip in Pine but close enough to walk or ride a bike. The cabin is spacious. The hot water worked great and the jacuzzi is nice. The structure isn't brand new but it is completely functional and a great place for pets. I saw several elk from my window as they were crossing the street. The cabin has everything you need to cook your own meals and Steve was always quick to respond with anything I needed. This location is also a great middle of the road spot for traveling to the rim, Winslow, Camp Verde, Etc.

    Jacob2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was outstanding again. It was our 2nd time staying at the cabin. I brought my parents up for there 1st time. They loved the place. Very close to amenities, yet very peaceful and quiet. We saw a herd of elk about 100 yards away from the cabin. We definitely plan on renting here again. The area is so beautiful.

  • The place was clean and cozy when we arrived. Plus, Gail was very easy to get in contact with and had no problems helping!

    Michael2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place was both secluded and yet still within walking distance or a short drive to microbreweries and various eateries. The proximity to state parks and must see sights was amazing. I would recommend this place if you are looking to experience the best of Arizona.

    Micaiah2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a well decorated cabin in a great location! Gail is a thoughtful host who had all the bases covered right down to marshmallows for the cocoa and treats for the doggies. The elk who stroll by after sunset are a bonus! I definitely recommend and would stay here again.

  • Great location. Elk were a wonderful surprise for the kids. They really loved the fire pit and roasting marshmallows.

  • Gail's home was adorable! It was the perfect size for me, my boyfriend, mom, and two kids. The kitchen was a real plus. It's a quiet little farm neighborhood but surprisingly a very short drive to quite a few amazing places to eat and drink. We did see one female elk our first night which was pretty neat. Over all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

    Jenni2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect little cabin in the woods of Pine. It's around the corner form THAT Brewery and town - practically walking distance. The place is so well equipped with everything you can imagine :) Gail and her hubby were easy to work with and the key entry code system was super easy to use which made check in/out a breeze. The cabin is very cozy - no cable/satellite. We took our roku and the TV has an hdmi plug in right on the side - it was great. Highly recommend this cabin.

  • It was a wonderful cabin. Modern rustic feel. Easy to find. Close to the natural bridge but still far enough away to feel an escape from the city. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice & clean. Loved the outdoor living space

  • Cute and clean! Truly enjoyed our visit! Close to the small town of Pine and the few restaurants, marketplace and antique shops it has to offer but also far enough out to have elk and deer visit in the morning and evening. Had a relaxing time and plan to visit again!

  • This was a very charming and cozy cabin, very worth the value we paid. It has a very homy feel, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Cute little fire place and nice porch with grill and plenty of sitting area. The house is located close to the road, but it is still pretty quite, not too many cars were passing by. You can enjoy the birds singing and the wind playing in the trees. The host was also very responsive and very helpful! I would recommend to stay there with smaller parties, as the beds were small. It was hard to share it with another person and we felt like we were sliding down the whole night. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and we will be back again with less people!

  • This cabin is so modern, yet cozy and fun! The location is quiet and the views are fantastic. The outdoor seating areas are really fun in the mornings and evenings. As mountain bikers, access to nearby trails was a must – and they are just a ride away! We look forward to coming back here and bringing friends! Thank you so much!

  • This cozy cabin was AMAZING. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is nestled among trees and there is a wonderful wrap-around porch to relax on. Better yet there is a swing out front in the trees where you can relax and look at birds and other wildlife. We saw a herd of elk in the neighborhood. The house is just a minute from a trailhead and also "That Brewery" which had some great beer. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The area is just as described - beautiful pine forest, walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, and shops. It was so quiet and peaceful, something we don't get to experience much in the city. We definitely plan to go back again and highly recommend this cabin retreat.

  • Great deal on a cozy and secluded cabin! Roger left very detailed information about the cabin which made it easy to access. He was also quick and friendly with his responses. We got to see the local deers come through the yard on several occassions! When we reserved the cabin in the woods, we expected to have see some bugs and dirt. We did have a couple of them the first day, but the next couple of nights were all clear. We had a wonderful time at the cabin and would stay there again.

    John2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Future guests should know that the kitchen has a lot of condiments you might need, as well as games for the young ones. It kind of reminded me of the bowls at stores that say "need a penny - take one, have a penny - leave one". The adults couldn't get the tv's to work, but only because we are used to a different provider, but everything else was awesome. The games in the garage were specially good for the teens, they didn't even want to go ride their quads. We played so many games as a family and cooking was not a chore, eating outside was the best.

    josie2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • This home is so much better than than we expected and we had high expectations. It was rustic feeling but very modern as far as cabins go. We loved all of the bird feeders the wrap around porch. It was the perfect family getaway. Our elderly parents were able to get around easily, it was perfect for our two year old especially because we found a baby gate in the closet to keep her off of the stairs (thank you Nick). It had everything we needed to cook wonderful meals. It felt so safe with the keyless entry and home security. We loved everything about our stay! Lovely! Plus it is dog friendly so our old pug was able to join us on vacation! We want to make Dancing Bear an annual trip!

    Elisa2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the Dancing Bear Lodge. It is beautiful inside and out and our hosts even had a gift bag with goodies waiting for us upon arrival. The views are wonderful. Welcome to Pine AZ, located just 90 miles north of Phoenix in a small arts and craft community, located just below the Mogollon rim in the Tonto National forest. Come to enjoy the many hiking trails or just to relax in the cool climate. There are endless things to enjoy. Great little restaurants and shops. Fossil Creek is a great hiking spot. You must make reservations with Strawberry Fire Department. Woods Canyon Lake is 45 min if you like kayaking.
Take a welcomed relief from the heat and travel to Pine and enjoy the hiking trails or the nearby Tonto Natural bridge and many other trails and creeks to enjoy. The bunkhouse is referred to as Snoopy's place and you know you have arrived by painting of Snoopy on the side. Winter months we can expect some snow. Within 45 minutes up the Rim road there is sleigh riding or even some cross country skiing.
Most of the time our neighborhood is quiet. One can just sit and listen to "quiet". During the summer we do have a few more visitors. You can walk anywhere in town. The area is wonderful and friendly. Just give the Pine Wave to all and they will give you the same.
  • What a lovely weekend! This one-bedroom bunkhouse was the perfect little getaway for my wife and me to enjoy some relaxation in the pines. The place was more than enough for both of us and I'm sure you could squeeze in a couple more people on the futon in the front room. The bed was more than adequate, the bathroom incredibly clean and well-appointed (a nice touch: a huge basket with a wealth of sample-size toiletries), and beautiful sitting area with propane grill out front. And a hammock hung between two pines; can't beat that! In walking distance are two good breakfast restaurants, the local saloon (Sidewinder's), the local market, and a lovely winery right down the road. Only about a half mile down Highway 87 is the fantastic That Brewery; highly recommended. Greg was a wonderful host, greeting us upon arrival and ensuring we had everything we needed. We even got a home-baked banana bread from Susan! Greg checked on us a few times, even going so far as to give us a phone call when a herd of elk wandered through the quiet neighborhood where this cabin is situated. We will be back for sure! Thanks again, Greg and Susan. Hope to see you folks again soon!

  • Our stay at the bunkhouse was just what we wanted. Greg and Susan were very accommodating hosts and made sure we had whatever we needed through out the trip. The location is peaceful and the perfect place to get away from the city. We look forward to visiting again.

  • Very clean, very private and easy walk to the small town of Pine for groceries, dining, and beverages. The cabin was exactly as described and nicely equipped. The host was super nice and met us as soon as we pulled in and saw us off the next morning. Would definitely recommend.

    Benjamin2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We felt so welcome! Greg and Susan were absolutely lovely and there for our needs which were few as the little bunk house was just darling! Very comfortable living room and a sweet bedroom with a great queen sized bed. The bathroom was just right they had a little refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot set up for kitchen needs in the laundry room. Very clean and fresh in the tall pine trees! When we woke up, there were elk grazing in the grass around the cabin! The little town of Pine is charming and has a very old fashioned feel with good food and antique shops. Pine is located well for visiting that area of the Arizona mountains. We look forward to visiting again and seeing Greg & Susan!

  • Wonderful time in a great little place! Everything was clean, looked very nice, and was exactly as 'advertised'. Communication was easy, fast, and great with all questions, etc. Will def stay again if ever up in Rim Country.

  • I don't think we could have chosen a better place to stay in Pine. The Bunkhouse is on a level lot, perfect for kids to explore, close enough to walk to all of the town amenities but far enough away to feel peaceful and quiet. You can take long walks along the neighborhood's wooded, winding roads, or drive to one of the many hiking trails in the area. Greg and Susan are perfect hosts: attentive but never intrusive. This little house was clean and filled with light. It is small, but so well laid-out that our party of two adults and two children did not feel cramped. Amenities included plenty of towels, linens, and travel sized toiletries; DVDs and magazines; a microwave and coffee maker (coffee, powdered creamer and sugar provided); a mini-fridge stocked with bottled water, cookies and banana bread; a washer and dryer; a small flat-screen TV and a DVD player; a queen bed and a comfortable fold-out futon; and a patio with plenty of seating. Sit on the patio late at night, talk about your day, be amazed at how the sky is blanketed with stars, relax...and don't be surprised if you're already thinking about coming back.

My place is close to parks, great views, and restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, the location, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
  • The place was very clean. Walking distance to everything in town. Communication with host was quick & helpful.

  • I was fortunate to have some kind of scheduling issue. Linda upgraded me from a room to a cabin without question or fuss and my stay, though short was quite lovely. This is a great cabin in Pine proper with a wide open back yard, close to everything one would want in the woods. The cabin is large for a couple, comfortable and well appointed. Though I have been coming up to Pine for ever 50 years I was not familiar with this place and glad to have found it.

    Michael2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay. It is within a two minute walking distance to one of the best Mexican food restaurants we've been to (the carne asada was amazing). We will stay here again!

    Jim N Amy2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • The room -- with its private bath, jacuzzi, and serene view out the back door -- is immaculately clean, and the bed is very comfy. Being able to walk to several restaurants for either breakfast or dinner is also a plus. We'd definitely come back!

    Wynne2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Simple and peaceful. Just what we needed!

    Amy2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is the PERFECT little spot!! We loved everything about it, from sitting out back with perfect privacy and views of the forest and stars, to sitting in the Jacuzzi tub with the window open enjoying the serene view! Walked about the town and many cute little places to eat and visit withing walking distance, we didn't happen to visit anywhere because we had a wedding that took up the majority of our time, but we will be visiting again VERY soon! I'd like to also add, Linda was extremely helpful, accommodating and kind, I had scheduling issues and she was able to work around my schedule, no problem at all! Thank you and I will be back VERY soon!!! :)

  • Perfect weekend getaway, the cabin was set in the woods less than a mile from town, an easy walk to all that Pine offers. Cindy was a wonderful, although we never met, the attention to detail at making guests feel at home is apparent when you walk in the door. We opened the fridge to find free range eggs from her own chickens waiting for us. There is actually quite a lot to do in Pine and the surrounding areas including some great hikes and a great little Brewery and all of this within minutes from the cabin. The beds are comfy and the cabin is well equipped with High speed internet, cable TV and even a Wii. There are also plenty of board games and even some kids toys to enjoy. In essence not an investment property for rent but someones actual home you will be staying in.......enjoy.

Back porch was a great place to sit and enjoy the quiet scenery. Other cabins were close but not intrusive. Our party of three was very comfortable and we loved our stay there.

  • Great place to stay! My friends and I were able to celebrate a graduation and a birthday and this cabin was a great choice. We brought our dogs and it was perfect to allow them to roam, a small trail to hike behind the property, and wonderful patios to view your surroundings. Ofra was a great host, with great communication. She allowed us to stay even later for an extra fee. Thanks Ofra for offering up your cabin and amenities.

  • We love to camp, but what a treat to come to the cabin and have our wood chopped, kindling ready and no work to be done other than unpacking and preparing your own meals! The porches, front and back, are the perfect place to cuddle up with a cup of coffee and a book, or to just hang out and enjoy the view. There is a trail head right across the street! A perfect place close to home yet far enough removed to get away.

  • Thank you for your hospitality. Cabins are tucked away right off the main road. Everything is close-by. It's quiet & I "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" staying here. I was highly impressed & my b/f was thrilled to find coffee & every kind of sugar; As he's a diabetic. The Mexican restaurant food is delicious. Very friendly staff. I would ask that every guest makes ice for the next person as it would be appreciated.

Ever stayed in a Dome before? Didn't think so! The dome cabin sits on an impressive 3 acres of heavily treed outdoor beauty just steps from the national forest (across the street). This cabin offers the most land of anything else offered on airbnb in the pine area! so bring your friends and family and enjoy the outdoor areas. The Dome was fully renovated in summer of 2017 with new decks, kitchen, bathrooms, carpet, paint, etc! Bring your friends and family and create some fantastic memories!
Check out beautiful pine Arizona! Our Dome cabin is surrounded by three acres of huge pine trees. Enjoy breakfast on the wrap around deck or the huge stone patio with fireplace. Inside the cabin has all the comforts of home with amazing vaulted ceilings almost 35 ft high! Warm yourself by the fire and play some board games with friends!
The dome cabin sits on three acres of heavily trees mountainside. We are located across the street from the national forest. The closest hiking trail is a short walk or drive from the dome cabin. There is also access to forest roads and off-road trails right there too!
  • This cabin was for a retreat we had and it was amazing and so much fun! I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a group or family getaway it had everything we needed!!

  • My friends and I had stayed at the Dome earlier this week and we really enjoyed ourselves. The place was very clean and we had no issues or complaints about this place! The WiFi was fast, there was plenty of room for the 6 of us and I t’s also very affordable! We will be sure to book another stay soon!!

    Brianna2017-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • There is no doubt at all that I will not be booking the Dome again! From the host down to the the stay, Everything was great! No better place I would have rather spent Christmas with my family!

    Brittany2017-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to escape the city only about an hour and a half from Phoenix. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4, two of them being toddlers. Lots of space up stairs that we didn’t need based on kids ages but would be perfect for larger family/ friends groups. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon card games and we also enjoyed the fire pit and grill in the evenings. The little market in town is pricey. We only had to go there a couple of times for things we forgot but I would definitely bring my own groceries again. The dome is rustic but updated. Some nice touches around the cabin included the baby gate for the stairs and Netflix. Pots, pans, dishes etc in the kitchen were well stocked. The Mogollon Rim and a few lakes aren’t far for some outdoors time. Skip Potato Lake and drive a little further to Knoll or Bear Canyon. Great cabin and great host. We will definitely be back. My 2 year old was heart broken to leave!

    Christa2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very peaceful

    Aracely2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is awesome we will return as we can loved the Dome especially for two people , it is a very Intimate location! The fireplace and fire pit are very romantic!

    Jeremy2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Dome Cabin is a wonderfully unique experience. I was trying to get my kids to go camping. Instead, we decided to go glamping. Whenever we rent a cabin, I expect the experience to be a bit rustic and that I'll have to fix something. That is not the case with The Dome. It has been completely remodeled, but still maintains that comfortable cabin charm. We also love the Pine area. There is tons of hiking and outdoor space to explore. The Natural Bridge is just down the road. Pine Trail Head is just across the street. The kids and I checked out the local llama farm and bought some lotion that is guaranteed to make you look prettier than the llamas. If you like the outdoors, this is the place for you. I can't wait to visit again.
