“The Metropolitan (Met) is part of the fixtures & fittings of West Didsbury and as such is one to visit. Still super popular with party goers, families with young children and ladies that lunch. They have a great beer garden that has a bustling outside bar and pizza restaurant on summers evenings. Note stage and hen parties are not permitted entry http://www.the-metropolitan.co.uk/ ”

“Great Restaurant Bar that serves high quality food and drinks in a relaxing, yet chic atmosphere. Perfect for lunch, evening meal or drinks. The restaurant is a good size don't expect to be able to turn-up for an evening meal or find a seat in the large patio area when the sun is shining, best to book ahead or arrive early to get a good seat. There is an early bird menu that is available, it's TWO COURSES FOR £12.50 (Oct 2017). available Monday to Friday 12 – 6pm and Saturday until 4pm. It's great value for money and the menu (changed) monthly is varied and super delicious”
