“If you want to buy liqour in Sweden it's necessary to go to Systembolaget. This would be the one best located on our way home, but are located all around town. Do note that they wont be open after 18:00 (6 pm) weekdays or after 15:00 (3 pm) on Saturdays. Sundays they are closed. Also: you have to be 20 to shop there. If you are younger: don't even go in because then they will deny your friends to buy as well.”

Liquor Store
“Systembolaget is the only store that is allowed to sell beverages containing alcohol. The only exception is 3,5% beer which is found in any shop that sells food, normally. On the up side, Systembolaget is well sorted and has educated staff. Cheap wines are not cheap at systembolaget, but on the other hand, expensive bottles are not that expensive. This is an effect of sweden's alcohol tax system which basically taxes per bottle, instead of quantity. Generally, alcohol is expensive in Sweden, and this is the only place to get it.”
