  • Marshall was great. I had a last second trip to STL and he provided myself and one of my business partners a great place to stay. Fantastic unit, fantastic location.

    Anthony2015-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Marshall has a great space with just the right amenities. He has a very modern and simplistic taste. The location is in a very nice part of downtown. I will be back and forth over the next few months and will try and stay here again.

    Michael2015-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Marshall's apartment was beautifully furnished, had (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) fiber internet access & could not be better located. It was perfect for our needs and I almost wanted to stay indefinitely! Other destinations beckon but would definitely return on a future visit.

    Phil2015-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Marshall's place is beautiful and in the perfect location for visiting St Louis. Unfortunately while we were there there was a really bad trash smell in the building hallway. Not his fault, but the air fresheners in the unit were almost as bad. The neighborhood is really great and close to bars, restaurants and City Museum. Plenty to do. After a day of walking we had hoped to take a little rest on the couch (super comfy btw). We weren't able to log in to the tv options (Netflix, etc) and there was no cable, so that was a little disappointing. My biggest complaint would be that in the welcome info we were asked to not mention Airbnb if someone in the building asked who we were. I understand that not all HOA's look kindly on Airbnb rentals but guests should never be asked to lie for the host.

    Laura 2017-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great location that is close to good restaurants and event centers. Space is very nice and easily accommodated 3 adults and 1 infant.

    Cara2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • If I could stay here a million times I would! Everything about my stay was perfect. I couldn't have picked a better host. Marshall, thank you so much for a wonderful first time Airbnb experience. I look forward to staying again my next STL trip.

    Ty2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Marshall's loft has very nice decor. It was very clean and cozy. I really enjoyed staying there, it was all hassle free. Marshall responded to all questions that I had in timely fashion. I appreciated the washer and dryer. Thank you very much! I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to stay in the area of downtown.

    Ely2016-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • The best place I have ever stayed so far. The view, the location, the loft and its decoration were amazing! Marshall is also there when you need him! Definitely would stay again!

The room was private, clean and a great value for the night. Would love to stay here again if we are back in the St. Louis area!

A huge 1 bedroom loft with a Walk Score of 96 is excellent for vacations, business travel, conferences, sports events, and exploring lovely St. Louis! Our space is perfectly located between all of the major attractions. You can easily walk to the Arch, Busch Stadium, Americas Center (conference center), Scottrade Center, City Museum, Peabody Opera House, and many more. There's also a grocery store 1 block away, and many restaurants, cafes, and bars that we'd highly recommend.
The space has been outfitted with designer furniture everywhere. The staple pieces of the living room is the oversized couch is from Article and the famous Womb chair designed by Saarinen. Relax and watch Netflix on our 60" 4K TV. In the kitchen you'll find a beautiful Saarinen marble tulip table (Both Saarinen pieces were designed by the same guy that designed the St Louis Arch!). The table seats 4 people and the kitchen island seats an additional 3.
The neighborhood is the perfect mix of being super close to all of the attractions, but still 1-2 blocks away from loud bars at night. It's the most desirable area in downtown to live. The main grocery store is 1/2 block away with the best rated restaurants all right next door. There's also an excellent coffee shop just down the street. The entire area is also incredibly safe!
  • This is a brand new house, very clean, close to many attractions in downtown St.Louis. The place is minimalistic but very stylish & has all that is needed for a good relaxing stay. Marshall & Jon very responsive in their communication & very knowledgeable about the locality. I recommend their place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

    Prem2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • It's a great location to stay within the city. You have a sushi restaurant down the street and a grocery store across from the sushi joint. I recommend 10/10 to choose this spot.

We are located a few feet from public transportation and the thriving "Historic Cherokee St. District", where you will find several restaurants, bars, shopping venues, and night life. We are also located within a mile of several large parks and less than 4 miles from downtown (Arch) and most special events.
There are a lot of art galleries, music venues, coffee houses, restaurants, a small "Little Mexico" section, Cherokee Antique Row, and just a melting pot of cultural diversity. While the neighborhood can sometimes looks run down, we feel safe walking, parking, and living in any part of it at any time of day. Crime is dropping and real estate prices are steadily increasing. We feel this is a very nice and fun place to visit and live.
  • Really cool house, very clean, fun dog, and wonderful host. I would definitely recommend the place!!

    Oona2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Terry was truly one of the best Airbnb hosts we've had (and we've used Airbnb often). He stayed up quite late to meet us for a check-in that ended up being hours later than we planned due to a blown tire right outside the city. And then the next day, while we waited for the tired repair until much later than check-out, he let us store our bags and suitcases inside the house to keep them safe. He was informative and helpful, and a great guy to sit and chat with. Also: the house is within walking distance to some great neighborhoods of St. Louis, and to our favorite coffeehouse in the city -- the Mud House! There was no kitchen access, but it wasn't a problem for us. We loved the room and the bed, and that was what mattered most. Definitely a good deal and an affordable option (also in a good area) for your St. Louis travels.

    Sarah2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jerry & Terry are delightful hosts and they really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Location is just a few minutes from downtown/the Arch/a ton of cool restaurants. The room was nice - had a fireplace (didn't test that out since we were in the middle of a heatwave), very spacious, clean, and had a nice bed. The jetted tub in the bathroom is awesome. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to STL

    Robert2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Terry and Jerry's home is lovely. The whole upstairs is perfectly equipt for airbnb stays and the bed was very comfy! Jerry was very helpful on giving us options on what we could do in St. Louis. It made us wish we could stay longer and see more things!

    Elizabeth2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great second stay. Business as usual. Still great.

    AJ2016-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay! Jerry was very nice and accommodating. Great house and great location. I would definitely stay here again.

    Eunice2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jerry was incredibly accommodating. House was real clean and comfortable. It was pretty hot at night though. Otherwise, great value and would happily stay again. Thank you.

  • I stayed hear for a night on my way to Memphis. Jerry and Terry were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Doug's place was really clean and comfortable, with a really nice modern decor. It was exactly what I needed and I am SO glad I found the place; especially for what it offers it comes at a really great price. Doug has it perfectly set up, where checking in is perfectly easy, and sticky-notes around the apartment with all the info you may need for your stay. Thanks Doug!

    Abby2017-04-16T00:00:00Z

Or enjoy a show at nearby music venues. We are 5min from highway 44 and 10min from downtown St. Louis

Both historic and fresh in character. We wanted to reflect that in the ambiance of the space. You will find a wonderful mix of modern industrial fixtures and rustic antique decor. All come together to express a true sense of history and Midwestern lifestyle.
The apartment is tucked away right behind one of the most historic and lively strips in St. Louis. The district is called Cherokee Art District which is separated into two sections; one is known as Cherokee Street and the other side is known as Antique Row. Your lodging is located on the Antique Row side, but is only half a block away from the other side of Cherokee Street. Both full of indie boutiques and cafes. Cherokee Street is a newer strip with lots of diversity, raw artistic ambiance, and a robust nightlife while Antique Row is more historic and lush with antiques shops and vintage/handmade clothing stores. We are proud to say we are one of those shop owners here on Antique Row. Ruby Francis is a handmade outfitter specializing in ready-to-wear for men and woman constructed from vintage and reclaimed fabrics and materials. As you travel West on Cherokee Street, you'll find independently owned thrift stores, coffee shops, whiskey bars, florists, furniture, leather goods, craft beer grocer, bakeries, taquerias, tattoo parlors, jewelers, St. Louis-centric wearables, art galleries, and so much more. As you travel East on Antique Row, you will find privately owned bakeries, delis, vintage clothing stores, bath & body care, clothing boutiques, antique furniture, heirloom shops, pizzerias, more antiques shops, the historic Lemp Mansion, DeMenil Mansion (both provide tours), music venues, pubs, art supply stores, coffee shops, and even more antique shops.
  • Stephanie's cabin is adorable. It was much more spacious than I expected and I loved being walking distance to fun shops and bars. She was a perfect host and great with communication. I'd love to stay here again when I'm in the area.

    Meagan2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our one night stay here and had a chance to eat at a cool breakfast place two blocks down. The place was very cute and comfortable. We thought the size was perfect for us. We had some issues with the wifi, but Stephanie was super responsive in trying to take care of the issue. Would definitely stay if in the area again!

    Caleb2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie was a great host! The airbnb is in a great location and it was a perfect stop for my dog and I.

    William2016-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's place was perfect! Cherokee Street has so many cute shops and places to eat that are walking distance. It was so great having a kitchen that was stocked also!

    Shelly2017-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Loved how easy it was to book. We used the instant booking feature sort of last minute for a stopover during a road trip. We loved how secluded the apartment was, but that we could also walk around the block and have access to restaurants and coffee houses down the street. The directions on the booking were super easy to follow. Andy made some great recommendations on places to go/eat/drink and anyone who stays should definitely have breakfast at The Mud House. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The plants are a great touch. Loved the small details. The bed (as I read on other reviews) is firm. My husband wasn't bothered by it, but I prefer a softer bed and felt a bit like I was sleeping on a futon. We would definitely stay again.

    Jessica2017-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie is a wonderful host! Her place is cozy, clean, quiet, comfortable and incredibly affordable. Stephanie met us at the apt and showed us around the place, gave us some history about the neighborhood, and had plenty of restaurant/entertainment information for us to peruse.Though we were only there for one night, we did have a chance to explore the neighborhood and all the wonderful antique and coffee shops. Stephanie's place is at the top of my list for St. Louis!

    Tana2016-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie is an awesome host and I highly recommend that you book her place to stay during your travels through the St. Louis area. Her place is in a very cool neighborhood of the city. In addition, she has a lot of great recommendations of things to do to help kick start your adventures. In fact, her communication throughout the whole experience was great and much appreciated. The place was very cozy, tucked into the perfect spot of the neighborhood. I can't say enough good things.

    Josh2017-04-09T00:00:00Z

  • Our family of 4 (with 2 kids under age 7) enjoyed a fun overnight in St Louis over spring break. The Seabright Suite was very comfortable for our family and allowed us to save money on meals by preparing all our food in the very well-equipped kitchen. Much better than a hotel room with 2 kids!

Exposed brick, gut rehab of a classic St. Louis old brick 2 family flat built 1898. Chouteau Park across the street & Central West End across the bridge. Walk to Forest Park where all the major museums are or to The Grove entertainment district.
Thanks for your interest in my new building, investing in STL. Here is update! You will be in the second floor (door on the right), this guest bedroom is in the front of the building overlooking the park. Though the construction is done, details like: painting, window trim and applications, and closet shelving aren't yet in. Cant predict the future state of the progress of the detailing, which will be slow since most of it I am doing myself in my spare time, which I have little of. You get to have a private room in a 1500 square foot newly renovated apartment, located in high rent district. I provide a Full futon, a real roll out bed and/or twin aerobed and basics including WiFi/net as noted. Note as my profile here shows, I have an additional listing for the living room sofabed also and it is often booked at the same time too. The white wireless doorbell is the only working one, knock (door on right) or call. My office is directly above the doors. Make yourself at home: You can enter without notice to tenant and I or requirement of us being there, just follow the house manual and be mindful and keep the place locked at all times. Note this is an all hard wood floor building as pictured. The 2nd floor where I stay has a strict no shoe policy, but that doesn't mean no creaking in general for 100 year old hardly insulated floors. Noise is entirely random and cant be predicted, may be none, may be some, but should always be reasonable and minimal. If you have issue let me know immediately via a message.
Forest Park South East is aka "The Grove" neighborhood, which was a blighted neighborhood that was revitalized as a gay club district and is now a full blown entertainment district with large scale entertainment for every interest. My place is located a couple blocks North of the actual entertainment street so no worries about loud crowds nor places to park a car. There is ample safe parking directly in front of the building on the street thanks also to the lovely developing city park across the street from the building.
  • Always a pleasant stay with Zen. Excellent host. I highly recommend his rental.

  • Zen was an awesome host. Checkin time was flexible, the room was ready and very comfortable, and he was available for anything we needed. His place was very cute and clean, and my son and I felt right at home. The neighborhood was very convenient for our plans and also very quiet at night despite being so close to everything. He was a great host, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

A newly updated and tastefully decorated one bedroom apartment featuring an open floor plan, rustic farmhouse decor and modern amenities in the heart of St. Louis' Soulard Historical District. Prime location with easy access to just about everything the Lou has to offer. This corner location is within walking distance to over 30 restaurants, including our Historic Farmers Market. The property is less than a 10 minute Uber ride to Downtown and other Historical neighborhoods in the area.
Your oasis is located directly in Soulard Proper, with visibility of the famous St. Louis Mardi Gras Parade. It's a one bedroom apartment (ground level) with a private entrance located in the historic district of Soulard Mo. Tastefully decorated with a lot of little extras for our guests. The building was built in the early 1900's and was renovated extensively in the early 80's and updated over the last 15 years of our ownership. This is one of four units that have an open floor plan, high ceilings and very unique floor plans. A perfect location for the couple, single or business traveler. The other 3 units are rented at top dollar to young professionals and one empty nester that has lived there longer than our ownership.
One of St. Louis' most iconic neighborhoods, Soulard, is known for historic architecture, Mardi Gras, and the ever-present smell of hops wafting over from the Anheuser-Busch brewery. The nightlife is bolstered by a wonderful collection of bars, music venues and restaurants that draw crowds and give the walkable streets an electric buzz. With menus reflecting French Creole flavors, specialty beer bars offering huge selections, and some of the best BBQ you're likely to ever find, Soulard encapsulates the best of St. Louis.
  • Rebecca is amazing! Very accommodating and professional. We absolutely loved this cozy, stylish apartment. I will definitely stay here every time I return to Saint Louis!

    Ashley2017-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca was a great host! Her place is very welcoming, safe, and comfortable (free street parking is a plus, too!). Great decor, comfortable bed, and cozy place! Several toiletries available in the bathroom were also a nice touch! Would definitely stay here again.

  • Rebecca's place is perfect! It's affordable, stylish, has thoughtful amenities, is clean and comfy. The bed is like sleeping on clouds! There are great neighborhood bars and it's close to many restaurants. I could not be more pleased with our stay.

  • Great spot to stay for our first trip to St. Louis!

    Christine2017-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Truly couldn't have been better ! My father and I were only staying for one night but the apartment was perfect. While we never met the hosts the apartment was exactly as described (I would say even better) with a very clear and easy directions as to how we would enter the unit. Had an excellent stay -- and they are not far from some delicious restaurants. For wonderful Bosnian food I would recommend Grbic restaurant only a 5 min drive away !

    Erin2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie was a fantastic host! The apartment was kitschy and unique, located near a lot of local hot spots.

    Mallory2017-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • It was a flawless comfortable stress free experience. The personal touches really made a difference. We will be booking with Lesley again when we venture back to St. Louis. The area was beautiful and the hospitality was 5-star, better than any hotel!

**While technically a "shared room," guests have the front 1/2 of my apt to themselves behind a curtain -- I do not use guest space at all. Located in Shaw, directly off I-44, right across from the Missouri Bot. Gardens, 1/2 mi from Tower Grove Park, in the middle of the best parts of South City: The Grove, S Grand and Cherokee St. Great food and bars in walking distance. Beautiful neighborhood, plenty of parking. This is THE best part of town, where there are NO HOTELS to be found!
Despite the "shared space" label, guests have plenty of privacy in the front half of my shotgun-style apartment. There is a curtain dividing the front from the back half, and I do not use the guest space AT ALL while guests are staying. Clean, Comfortably fits 3 people, free wifi, free parking, absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Excellent location in the best part of town (that has NO hotels!), directly off I-44, walking distance from S Grand, The Grove, Tower Grove Park, RIGHT across from The Missouri Botanical Gardens.
I live directly across from the Missouri Botanical Gardens, half a mile from Tower Grove Park, within a mile of The Grove, South Grand and Morgan Ford, streets that all have great bars, music venues, dance clubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Just down the road is a great local market that sells food, beer and wine as well. The neighborhood is safe and clean, and pretty damn beautiful too. There are also NO hotels in South City, so having a place to stay in this part of town is pretty unique.
  • Great stay. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

    Jane2017-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay at Zack's place. Not the most comfortable bed but for the price and location this was a great deal. Everything was clean and set up when we arrived. My boyfriend and I stopped here as a place to crash for the night on our road trip and Zack was very accommodating with our late arrival time. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to sleep for an evening at a low price.

    Mary2017-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I came to Zack's place because we were in town for a concert. We enjoyed our brief stay. Zack was very flexible and easy to contact. The location was also not too far from downtown (15 mintues).

    Jinju2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Zack's place was EVEN BETTER than the pictures! I was here for just a night, but I was so happy I chose Zack's. I was running late on my check-in time and he was so kind and understanding. Check in was easy and communication was great! The bed was perfectly comfortable to me! If you're in St. Louis, this is the place to be.

The spacious Victorian Penthouse is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a historic Victorian house built in 1907. The house is nestled on a quiet tree lined street on the edge of the city. It is walking distance to really good local restaurants and is only a mile from St. Louis's best attractions in Forest Park.
The unit has been preserved and kept mainly original. The architecture boast 11ft ceilings, 10in baseboards, 5in trim, and a stately pocket door to give you an idea of the charm. Please note that the pocket door can be closed transitioning the living room space into a private fourth sleeping area. The picturesque vaulted attic space was finished into a secluded master suite just last year, turning the unit into approximately 1800sq/ft of living space.
This area of St. Louis is known as "Dogtown" which is highly sought after because the area is very safe and the location is excellent for getting around St. Louis. With The Victorian Penthouse located on the edge of "Dogtown", you are also very close to Mapelwood, which has numerous bars, restaurants, and shops about half a mile away.
  • This was a perfect location for our weekend in St Louis. We had 2 couples +toddler and there was plenty of room. The upstairs loft is especially lovely! Street parking was very convenient, house was clean, comfy beds. I absolutely recommend this home!!

  • Korey's Victorian Penthouse is even more beautiful than in the pictures! We loved our long weekend stay here and it definitely exceeded our expectations. It was close to everything we wanted to experience in St. Louis. Check-in was a breeze and Korey is SO nice and helpful. Perfection.

  • Great charm and very close to the St Louis hotspots. Wonderful host who really accommodates his guests.

    Evan2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding. We thought there was some kind of a catch when we booked it. All I can say is there was no catch. From the little notes throughout the condo, to the supplied coffee, no detail was left out for our stay. The neighborhood was wonderful. My 8 year old daughter went out every night to the back yard and collected fire flies. I never had one concern about her safety. Can't thank Korey enough for the experience. I am hesitant to write this post because I'm worried I won't be able to get it next time we go to St Louis.

    Matt2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Only go here if you want a big space with great amenities at a fair price. Korey keeps a really clean house on a quiet street.

    Andy2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • A charming, comfortable stay. We were so happy with Korey's excellent communication with us. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Korey provided all the amenities we needed. We weren't expecting this, but he even left us some food that we were welcome to! We had everything we needed. The entire home was clean and cozy, and we loved the neighborhood! It was cute and convenient to everything we needed. Thank you for a perfect stay!

    Blythe2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb experience. We really enjoyed staying at Korey's apartment. The neighborhood felt safe and the location was wonderful. The apartment was exactly as described. Korey was friendly, accessible, and responsive. We loved having off-street parking, and access to the washer and dryer was a definite plus. Looking forward to staying here again on future trips to St. Louis.

This is the penthouse unit situated on the corner of the building. It has huge windows throughout and designer furniture. Walk Score of 96 is excellent for visiting lovely St. Louis! Our space is perfectly located between all of the major attractions. You can easily walk to the Arch, Busch Stadium, Americas Center (conference center), Scottrade, City Museum, Opera House, and many more. There's also a grocery store 1 block away, and many restaurants, cafes, and bars that we'd highly recommend.
We've outfitted our space with designer furniture everywhere. The center piece of the living room is Womb lounge chair designed by Eero Saarinen (the same designer of the ST. Louis Arch) and our down gray couch from Article. Please help yourself to Netflix on our 60" 4k TV. In the kitchen you'll find a marble tulip table (also designed by Eero Saarinen) The table seats 4 guests and the kitchen island seats an additional 3. We have a fully stocked kitchen with glasses, mugs, pots, pans, plates, flatware, cooking utensils, and cooking knives from Chicago Cutlery.
The neighborhood is the perfect mix of being super close to all of the attractions, but still 1-2 blocks away from loud bars at night. It's the most desirable area in downtown to live. We have a walkscore of 96 so you'll know you're close to everything! The main grocery store is 1/2 block away with the best rated restaurants all right next door. There's also an excellent coffee shop just down the street. The entire area is also incredibly safe!
  • This home is every bit as lovely, upscale, trendy and well-appointed as it appears in the photos. This is one of the few listings I have seen that really does the home justice. Our visit to St Louis was brief and busy so we didn't spend a ton of time in the loft but the time we did spend was comfortable, relaxing and quiet. It was the perfect oasis. We arrived on a very hot and stormy afternoon with plans to head straight over to Busch Stadium for a concert. However the storm intensified and it was so nice to be close enough to just hang out in air-conditioned comfort and wait until the skies cleared a bit before walking over. After the concert, it was a short walk back to our home away from home where we could relax and compare photos from the concert before retiring to our separate rooms for a good night's sleep. Really perfect. Before checking out the next morning, it was nice to have several coffee shops within walking distance. Having arrived on a Sunday, street parking was easy and free. We parked at a meter which needed to be fed at 8am on Monday. We were able to pay for two hours' worth of parking using an app which brought us right to our 10am checkout time. I highly recommend this home if you are interested in a very comfortable, trendy, centrally-located place to stay in St. Louis. Check in and check out are a breeze with the building's keyless entry system and our hosts were in touch every step of the way in case we needed anything. Excellent experience all the way around. We are big Cubs fans and could totally see ourselves coming back and staying here for a game vs. the Cardinals, too. :)

    Dina2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. We have stayed in some beautiful places around downtown St Louis, but this has been our #1 pick. Great location -within walking distance of our favorite restaurants, the city museum, and even a large, clean, fresh grocery store. This loft has large closets, a huge tv, beautiful furniture, and more kitchen appliances than we could use in a weekend. One of the best parts of our stay was the superb communication. We highly recommend booking with Marshall and Jon.

  • What a fantastic place to stay in St. Louis! Marshall and Jon were so helpful, attentive and available with all of our needs. They made our stay super easy and stress-free. The loft has everything you can imagine with plenty of space and fabulous decor. They kept in contact with us, as needed, and were even available to recommend a great place for brunch. We would definitely stay here again if we return to St. Louis.

  • Kendra is an exceptional host, very attentive and professional. The building is beautiful and filled with character and original details. It’s clean, and in a cool neighborhood within walking distance to an amazing park with lots of fun mom and pop restaurants in between. It was a great place to go with our dogs. One caveat: one bed is more comfortable than the other. Something to keep in mind if you go with a large group. Definitely still worth it!

The location is perfect too, right next to a big grocery store, and all the shops and restaurants on S Grand, and a short walk to the bars on Cherokee. • Our stay at Lana’s place was one of the best experiences I’ve had with Airbnb. Her home is spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated. The beds were all very comfy. It’s perfect for large groups and we especially appreciated the board games for down time. Lana was extremely hospitable and communicative throughout our stay, even running to grab more items when we ran out. This is a brand new, modern home in a quiet, historic neighborhood. Do not hesitate to book—we loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in St. Louis! 7 stars :)

  • Lana and Haley were amazing hosts! The house is brand new and immaculate. The location is excellent- half a block from Tower Grove Park and only a mile from all the amazing restaurants on South Grand St. Walking distance to other restaurants and amenities as well. Lana was super easy to work with, texted us with directions, and met us at the house when we arrived. It was a truly great experience and we can't wait to stay at this house again!

    Joe2017-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lana made things so easy and convenient, especially on a holiday. We enjoyed our stay in her beautiful home. It is a peaceful and calming environment which enabled my family to spend time together relaxing on a stressful weekend. The attention to detail such as lighting and the wine cooler, a nice touch that we made use of. The neighborhood is quiet with easy parking. The close proximity to the park and the botanical gardens is great for walks. Lana gave us a tip on the light show. We most certainly recommend Lana's home to anyone traveling to St. Louis.

Note: This listing is for the couch and possible roll out beds in the living room only which is not conducive for long term guests. I will not accept monthly inquiries. I have at least one day a month blocked off for my personal hosting within my living room. Monthly inquiries are accepted at my other listings private bedrooms, see my other listings under my profile. This is the current rehab status to be aware of: You will occupy the second floor (door on the right) living room. There is an additional guest bedroom, as listed on one of my other listings, located in the front of the building overlooking the park. The guest bedroom may be occupied with a roommate or different guest during your stay, if not you can upgrade to the private room if available. Though the second floor construction is done, details like: painting, window trim and applications, and closet shelving aren't yet in. The first floor has never been rehabbed so all of it needs updating except the kitchen still. Cant predict the future state of the progress of the detailing and remodeling, which will be slow since most of it I am doing it myself in my spare time, which I have little of. You get the living room in a 1500 square foot 127 year old Victorian style apartment, located in high rent district. I provide the Queen size sofa bed, and basics including WiFi/net as noted. This means if you book for 2 people then the 2nd has to share the Queen bed. Ideal for a couple. I may have additional sleeping options upon inquiry, but it would be in the second floor living room also and depending on how many guests I have total. Note as my profile here shows, I have an additional listing for the guest bedroom up to 3 guests also and it is almost always booked at the same time too. I and/or guests may not go to bed until midnight and I make and serve breakfast generally between 8 and 9am (In the kitchen which is open to the living room as pictured). If that sleep range is not good for you consider a different AirBnB.
  • Zen's place is clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

  • Staying at Zen's and Deldrick's place was a great experience. The house is very convenient and central situated, but in an quite area. The house itself is beautiful. Moreover Zen and Deldrick were incredibly welcoming, making my stay extraordinary. Not just because of the breakfast they serve in the morning. I had a great conversation with Zen who told me a lot about St. Louis and what's going on in the community. You won't find a better guide through local social and political life! And he was playing harp like a god! everything was pretty easygoing and relaxed. In short: I've had a very pleasant stay! Thx so much!

  • This was a wonderful home to stay in during our time in St. Luis, the location was awesome being only 10 minutes away from the America Center, which is where we had to go back and forth 2 or more times a day for the COGIC Convention so that was a plus to be so close!!! Space was great, and most of all the kitchen was phenomenal, especially if you plan to do cooking during your stay! Betty was great to communicate with, she was very quick to answer all my questions and seems like a lovely person, the only thing I was disappointed with was not being able to meet her!!! THANK YOU BETTY for sharing your home!

    Tiunna Elliott2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best find at Betty and Mark’s house. It is a beautiful home filled with character and it is obvious they have put a lot of work into making it warm and inviting. Having 2 dedicated parking spots was great and being right next door to the bakery was a real treat. Betty was very responsive and easy to reach, and she had thought of every need and provided for it. My group thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

    Stephen2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a great place! The house itself was clean, spacious, and just plain awesome! The location is outstanding, so much to see and do. The house is within walking distance of just about everything; antique shopping, restaurants, and historic sightseeing. It was so easy to drive to all of the great St Louis tourist attractions. The house itself is full of charm and exceeded our expectations. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, it’s definitely a home away from home. Betty was an incredible host and communicated fast and efficiently.

The Carriage House is a unique building located in Tower Grove South. It shares a patio and yard with an historical home built in the late 1800s. The space doubles as an art studio so is perfect for guests looking for a unique and work-friendly experience. The property is right off the Morganford Business District and close to the park. Bring sleeping bags and air mattresss to fit more guests and kids.
  • Elsie's place was great. She was excellent at communication and the place was described accurately. Thanks!

  • This is the cutest, most welcoming home! We loved the cute neighborhood(so gorgeous with the fall colors!) and how hip the house was! The parking was excellent and we felt very safe! The heating was great for an especially chilly night!

    Jessica2017-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect for my one night stay in St. Louis! Elsie responded very quickly and her place was great for two people. She had a wonderful DVD selection as well!

    Hannah2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We fell in love with this place, it is definitely the most beautiful AirBNB space we've both stayed at. Besides the charming space, Elsie made sure everything was arranged smoothly; she made sure our arrival was easy; there were little instructions in the space; and everything one could possibly need was there; she send us tips about where to go in town; plus she had fresh coffee and bagels in the fridge for us as a suprise bonus. A lovely host with a lovely space! We'll try to book again anytime we'll visit St. Louis.

    Erica2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Carriage House exceeded expectations with it's wide open space and tons of natural light. Elsie remained in contact throughout my stay and was involved as little or as much as I needed. Word of caution, the futon is really low to the floor. Though comfortable, may be difficult for some people to get in and out. I will definitely consider staying again on my next visit.

    Chad2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • The place was exactly as described and an excellent place to stay. It’s in a great part of town and check in/communication was a breeze. Would love to stay again!

We have a 127 year old historic home in the beautiful Benton Park neighborhood of St. Louis! The Details: we currently have two beds, one bathroom with a claw foot tub and toiletries, a living room with games, books, coloring books, and a FULL kitchen. We are literally walking distance to several STL famous restaurants (not like it's a 30 minute 2 mile walk, literally 5 minutes). You can walk to Trueman's and catch a trolley to downtown for a Cards or Blues game, or Soulard for Mardi Gras!!!
One thing guests should be aware of is the only bathroom is attached to the master bedroom.
Our home is in historical Benton Park, a neighborhood of St. Louis city, so you are very close to all major St. Louis attractions. We also have plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
  • Highly recommend! Great location with lots to do, house was everything as described and also very tidy. Hosts were lovely. Can't go wrong if looking for a nice place in St. Louis!

  • Not only is the location central, but was it lovely! Everything was exactly as described, and the house met all expectations. I was there for business, but if I were there for fun, all of the extras in the house would be come in great handy! The check-in was as easy as can be--code to enter. I would recommend this to anyone traveling alone or with others.

  • Kelsey and Jesse did an amazing job. Their guest duplex was extremely clean and well furnished. They provided a great homemade book about things to do in the area. Furthermore, there were a ton of small touches that made our trip great. For example, they set up a tray of keurig cups to use, gave us bottled water, and plenty of toiletries. I would highly recommend their property. Thank you both! Hope to see you again soon!

  • Kara's place was great for a couple of nights in St. Louis. While there are some unfinished projects around the place, it is still comfortable and has everything you might need. I did hear the upstairs guests in the mornings and as they went up/down the steps but it wasn't a bother. I've stayed in the same many times. Dogtown, feels safe with great access to points in the city, Forest Park and plenty of restaurants.

Fenced backyard for your dog to play, no cats please! So sorry. Newly added upgrade, Queen size bed! 1 single car/truck reserved parking in back.
The entire apartment is to yourself. Shared fenced backyard for your dog. Unit on second floor, walk up 1 story stairwell. The sleeper sofa couch however is NOT comfy, but there just in case you need it.
The neighborhood is quiet, and full of beautiful old houses. It is great for walking to many coffee shops, wine bars, and ethnic restaurants. The neighborhood is bordered on one side by a large park, and on the other by the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Popular tourist season coming up for Food Truck Fridays, Farmers Market, Festival of Nations, Whitaker Music Festival, Pagan Picknick, Truck Shop Saturday, Shaw Art Fair, and many more!!
  • Great older neighborhood. We easily found parking on the street in front of the property and there was an off street spot in back we didn't use. Very close to the park which made for nice walks. Neighborhood felt safe. Lots of restaurants close. Dog friendly other than I needed to carry my 14 pound dog up and down the steps. Fenced backyard. Nice selection of clean linens. There was no TV but there was wifi.

The apartment was cute, has some nice original woodwork, the bed was really comfy, and the check-in/out was a breeze. This was my first Airbnb experience and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend a stay at Britt’s place.

    Sara2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Britt's. The neighbourhood is wonderful- it's more on the quiet residential side which I was so thankful for as a light sleeper, but still had plenty within walking distance and was a short drive to everything you'd want to do in St Louis. The apartment was super cute and cozy, and we loved having a full kitchen. On top of it all, Britt was a wonderful host who was there for whatever we needed, and left us tons of information about the apartment. We would absolutely stay again!

The center piece of the living room is a beautiful white leather Eames Lounge chair and our green velvet couch from Article. Help yourself to Netflix on our 60" 4K TV! In the kitchen you'll find a beautiful marble and walnut table, also from Article. The table seats 2 guests and the kitchen island seats an additional 2.
The main grocery store is 1/2 block away with the best rated restaurants all right next door. There's also an excellent coffee shop just down the street. The entire area is also incredibly safe!

  • This Was my first trip to St Louis and I went for the total solar eclipse. Marshall and Jon's place was such a great home base. The location was in the center of the city and everything was very close by. Some great breakfast spots too to start the day (Rooster- full breakfast or Pharoh doughnuts who makes them fresh right there in their store). Landmarks, Museums, the arch, the baseball stadium all within a short walk. Best way to explore a city is to walk it. Uber was easy to get too for trips further out like the zoo. This place is such a great location !! It is on the top floor and has an easy door coded entry for the building. Safe and clean it has 7 floors. Inside the condo everything is new in it with a Fantastic kitchen too if you want to cook and eat in. A grocery store is right across the street too (bonus). I would stay here anytime I ever visited again. Thanks !!

  • Loved our downtown loft for the long weekend. Parking was close and easy. Grocery store so conveniently close as well. Loved the location. Very easy instructions to get into building and room. Felt safe! The loft has an easy clean vibe. Loved it! Great beds and linens. We cooked breakfast every morning and just enjoyed our home away from home w our grown kiddos!

  • Marshall & Jon's place was so beautiful and clean! We were only there to sleep, but the furniture was extremely comfortable and cozy. It is also the perfect location if you are doing touristy activities. We would definitely stay again next time we are in St. Louis!

A classic St. Louis old brick two family flat built 1898. Restoration in progress. Chouteau Park across the street & Central West End across the bridge. Walk to Forest Park where all the major museums are or to The Grove entertainment district.
Thanks for your interest in my new building, investing in STL. Here is an update! This is the current rehab status to be aware of: You will occupy the first floor (door on the left). The 1st floor front room is for longer term tenant(s). They use the entry closet and have their own section in the bathroom and kitchen as noted in the house manual. Personal guests sometimes stay in the living room on occasion, since there is a bed option there. Currently Chi (Chioke) is staying most of the time in the living room, since he is doing a lot of restoration work for me on the building, at least until September of 2017. You get to have a private furnished master bedroom room in a 1500 square foot 127 year old Victorian style apartment, located in high rent district. I provide a real Full bed, and or a real Full sofa bed and basics including WiFi/net as noted. This means if you book for 3 or 4 people then the 3rd and 4th have to share in the Full beds or for short term stays only could possibly also sleep additional roll out single beds or Aerobed options. The room has space enough for the additional single beds within it but as a tight fit. The white wireless doorbell to the 2nd floor is the only working one, knock (door on right) or call.
  • I had a nice stay at Zen's place. The house is centrally located and the hosts were excellent and top notch with communication.

  • Zen is an excellent host. Very flexible and generous. He helped me with transportation, offered me breakfast and gave me a tour. The Airbnb is very well-located. Closed to the metro for both airport and downtown. The room is spacious and clean. I recommend without hesitation.

    Jeanne2016-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Zen is very knowledgeable about STL and surrounding Grove/CWE neighborhoods. He has a nice setup. The room is great for one or two, would be tight for 4 but doable. Comfortable bed. 1/2 bath in same unit as the room for brushing teeth. For kitchen and shower have to go outside then into the other apt upstairs which is s minor annoyance but not a big deal. Otherwise great location and great stay, Zen went above and beyond as a host offering rides, breakfasts, and harp music! Highly recommended and can't be beat for the price.

  • The house was very nice and super clean , there were great things to do nearby. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

    Sage2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • The master suite was comfortable and Zen provided amenities for the night. The neighborhood is quiet and easily explored via walking.

    Rachel2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Zen was very friendly and accommodating! Clean older house with lots of character. Shared bathroom with downstairs tenant, nice guy! Would stay again if in the area. Thanks again Zen!

  • Zen is a great host and provided a comfortable room for my stay. Zen was open to talking, offering recommendations on where to visit, and also made a delicious breakfast.

The deal of the century! Parks, culture, night life and dining. Shop unique imports, vintage clothes and furniture. Inside, you'll love the high ceilings, natural wood and mid century decor. We're a short, pleasant walk to the Missouri Botanical Garden, beautiful Tower Grove Park, and a couple of blocks from 14 different ethnicities of cuisine. 5 mins from SLU, Wash U, CWE, 5 miles from Arch, 5 mins to blues clubs. Bicycle friendly area, easy to get around. WIFI. Tips on jazz and blues clubs.
We run specials often; the only way to accurately know your cost is to input your dates. It might say $125 on the listing, but it might be much much lower. Sleeps one or a couple very comfortably and spacious or can sleep 8. One queen bed in bed room, plus a twin bed in office nook, then the sofa day bed turns into a queen, we put a queen size memory foam mattress on top it, and it's very comfortable. It can sleep 8 if we put the memory foam on the floor and sleep on the trundle bed by itself (that sleeps like two twins and are separable. Also, this listing is heavily discounted for weekly and monthly rentals if you're here for an extended period on business or looking for permanent residence. A charming, large space with a living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and front sunroom. Mid century furnishings, natural woodwork and floors, artwork, aesthetic and comfortable. This is a little more "bohemian" shabby chic than a chain hotel in the 'burbs, it was built in 1907 and located in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Please note, I haven't had a TV since 1992, but there's a shelf full of books to read (but not take) we have WIFI and something really fun is my console stereo with a sweet selection of LP's personally curated. Sit around and read books and listen to records. Not bad. There are two large window air conditioners which keeps the space plenty cool. Always fresh bed linens and towels and plenty of them. We sometimes run specials on rates, to know what you're paying you need to pretty much put in the dates of your potential stay. We also sometimes raise rates on holidays and holiday weekends.
Enjoy the shopping, entertainment and dining just a few blocks away including authentic cuisine from around the world. It’s 14 ethnicities of restaurants: Thailand, China, Japan, Vietnam, Italy, Morocco, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Persia, France, Brazil, Philippines and USA. You can cover much of the globe in this 5 block commercial district that is a mere two and half blocks from the pad. And, yes, I talk like that, sometimes. Closer yet is the Gustine Market to serve your beverage needs alcohol or otherwise with fine wines, micro brews and my favorite, Jamaican ginger beer. Even more action close by on Morganford where our favorite grocery store is, Local Harvest, and it's farm to your table. And Local Harvest has a restaurant across the street from the store. And if you like to exercise, run and cycle and such, with Tower Grove Park, there's always a place to go. Walk to the park or the Missouri Botanical Garden, and this is a pleasant cycling neighborhood, bicycles welcomed; you can really get around town on a bicycle. Have a plan or saunter and meander following barbecue smells or the sound of music, St. Louis is most serendipitous that way. Library is two blocks away, we're about two minutes from Schnuck's (a pretty decent grocery chain). Close to I44, I55 and 64/40. Neighborhood is a good central location easy to get to Central West End, Soulard, Maplewood, Webster Groves, The Grove, 5 minutes from Saint Louis University, 10 to Washington University. Five miles to the Arch and downtown. And it's 24 hours to LA and 19 to NYC.

  • David was such a cool guy to meet and greet when I arrived. He's full of history and culture and I hope to visit him and stay at his place again!

    Jaycee Kesh2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • David was very nice and his apartment would be perfect for a single person or a minimalist couple planning a lot of time away from the apartment during their stay. Had the bare necessities which was great! Longer version of the review: just FYI, communication with David can be a bit spotty. He doesn't thoroughly read or respond to messages at times. Im unsure if he actually accepts dogs as his listing says yes but his apartment welcome letter says no and, while the apt is adequate, the walls and floors are so thin that our dogs barked every time people walked around above us or David fiddled around below us as he has a shop of some sort in his basement that he likes to hang out it when he has visitors (which also made our dogs go nuts) - this is only slightly weird bc the door doesn't lock from the guests' side but only from his basement side as he goes through it. We were afraid to walk around too much or talk too loudly bc of the thinness of the walls/floor. The back door also does not lock from the inside - only from the outside where he stays in his camper when he has visitors. Bed was so uncomfortable for my husband and me but might be better for only one person! Overall, not a bad experience and, again, David was a very cool person, just not quite what we were hoping for or thought we were getting into!

  • We enjoyed our stay at David's, and would recommend his place to anyone visiting St Louis! It was a working trip for me, so a good quiet nights rest in a comfortable bed were welcome at the end of my day. Plus David's place is only a few blocks from beautiful Tower Park and a wide variety of great restaurants! Great residential neighborhood!

    Edward2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • David was an amazing host for my stay. David welcomed me when I first arrived and gave me the tour of the place. The price was amazing and David suggested a bunch of places to eat that are within walking distance.
