“Within walking distance, this place is so yummy! People actually stop in here to grab a slice - after coming from New York! Sal knows his stuff. Also, Sal himself is quite the character. A member of the boxing hall of fame and an actor on stage and screen, it’s always interesting here. Be aware that the hours are different for each day and during prime eating times, the wait can easily exceed 30 minutes. (But they will call you if you are waiting in your car.) They also have outdoor seating, but be sure to wear bug spray in the summer months. And, if you are celebrating a birthday, be sure to let your server know! They will ring the bell and the entire restaurant will sing to you.”
