Vacation Rentals in Springdale

Just booked in Springdale

Our A-Frame is a labor of our love and was built as such. A getaway to relax, hike and enjoy. Our place is a quiet, rustic, rural and completely off the grid in nature. It borders Zion National Park and is only 140 feet from the Zion East Rim Trailhead. Stargazing is stellar! You’ll love our place because of the location, the views, the ambiance, and the true outdoors space and memories. We bring the outdoors in and the indoors outside. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and friends.
The Space Upon arrival, you will park your car along the dirt road in one of the pull-offs and you will follow a wood chip and solar lit (at night) trail down a small ravine across a bridge with a seasonal stream and up another small ravine (about 150 feet in total) that is lined with beautiful Ponderosa Pines. On your left are the wildflower meadow and two lounge chairs to watch the stars from with no trees blocking the view. The view is 180 degree of stars at night. You can watch shooting stars and the International Space Station pass overhead when in view as well as explore the stars with the telescope. As you follow the trail and come to the top of the hill you will see the hammock to the left and the closed A-frame. Past the hammock is a bench and just past there is a small trail to an open area where there are Horseshoes and a Giant Jenga that can be played and an Adirondack loveseat. Proceed to the right side and you will put in your code to the keyless door lock. From there you can open the A-frame and have an inside/outside room. Upon entering, you will notice that the natural sunlight is reflecting from the convertible wall and four other windows. Natural sunlight is everywhere. On the white storage cubes, you will find a guestbook on the information of all aspects of the A-frame, the bathroom, the BBQ area, and property. There is additional information about the surrounding area as well. There is a second book that has different hikes you can take from our East Rim Trailhead and other popular hikes. Each one of the hikes has a map and a copy you can take with you in a sleeve within the book. There are also some water bottles and local candy/snacks in the basket for you. We also offer pint-sized mason jars of steel cut or rolled oatmeal with various organic dried fruits (trader joes) and small jars of “fixings” for the morning time. All you do is add the water for a nice, warm, filling organic oatmeal breakfast. Games, coloring, and cards are located in the cube and there is minimalist storage for your items as well as a luggage rack to keep the area clutter free for you. If you open up the A-frame wall or go out the door across the patio and look in the Yukon ice chest you will see a block of ice and some Smore’s fixings in a mason jar. If you are Vegan or Vegetarian, and do not eat marshmallows let me know in advance and I will make some homemade Vegan Marshmallows or leave a banana to roast. If you explore the BBQ Bar you will find plates, cups, utensils, and everything you may need to fix any meal. One of the greatest elements of this property is that it allows you to experience what off –grid living can be like with only minimal sacrifice. It has a solar system in place for the A-frame with an electrical outlet and a separate solar unit for the bathroom toilet. The natural light and convertible wall allows light to pour in and out and can sleep with wall open or shut. The water is from the local well, all water that is used is integrated to water the plants and trees. The special composting toilet from Sweden allows for no waste of water and no smell or mess of a regular composting toilet. We spent 5 months designing and building this A-frame to make it a home away from home and a small piece of paradise away from our busy lives. Our goal was to make a place of peace, relaxation, and bliss where our memories could harvest new experiences. We wanted a place to be in nature as much as possible and where hiking was outside our door; in which now we are sharing with you. Now, stop and relax and breathe because this is what memories and vacations are about, not about the hustle and bustle of normal life. Sit in an Adirondack chair or patio chair that overlooks the ravine and wildflower meadow. If it tickles your fancy, relax and unwind in the hammock. Listen to the birds and wind rustle the trees. What you do on your vacation next is up to you. PLEASE READ ALL ITEMS BEFORE BOOKING! Read the entire section before making the reservation. So there are no surprises. You are in the Alpine wilderness and therefore you must have respect for it and be aware of a few items. *Ravine: You park on the alcove on the dirt road or at the National Park parking and walk 150 feet or so down and back up a ravine. So if you have a lot of heavy items it will give you a workout. Trust me, we had to lug everything from wood beams to towels and it is tiring after a lot of trips. *Altitude/weather: you are at around 6,500 feet in elevation. If you have any heart problems and/or coming from sea level, you will notice a difference. The weather is also 9 to 13 degrees cooler than Zion National Park. Utah and Zion weather are unpredictable so bring warm and cool clothes. Layering is a must here if hiking. In the late summer/fall, there may be intermittent afternoon showers that last an hour or so. I love the afternoon showers because it gives me time to relax and enjoy under the canopy of the convertible wall. It is all about perspective. *Water: The running water is unfiltered well water, so drink at your own risk. We provide you with several bottles of drinking water and a jug of drinking water. *Electricity: Solar Power is generated by sunlight and is stored in batteries. There is limited battery capacity that depends on the weather. If you leave lights on or the fan on, it can drain the batteries faster so be thoughtful when using the electricity. We have remote lights for the night as well as huge battery operated candles for evening ambiance. During the day the windows provide plenty of natural daylight. *Critters: You are in the wilderness. There are a lot of alpine critters on our property including squirrels, foxes, bats, Mexican Spotted Owls, California Condors, Peregrine Falcons, Bald Eagles, ravens, eagles, deer, turkeys, bunnies, coyotes, cougars (the cougar is not in area presently and not presenting any danger) and Rams have been seen on the East Rim Trail and 15 feet from the property. Additionally, Black Bear do live in the area but are very rare and usually come down only in the wintertime. So ...use caution and enjoy the alpine animals from a distance. Additionally, Rattlesnakes can be present in Southern Utah, especially in the summer (they like the alpine cooler weather). Please use caution if you see one and DO NOT bother it. *Bugs: You are in the wilderness and border two sides of the national park: there are lots of bugs that fly and crawl. There are spiders, moths, ants of all varieties, beetles, stump wasps, mosquitoes, black flies and horse flies. In Zion, I have heard of tarantulas and scorpions in some desert areas in the floor of the Zion Park (not usually in the alpine area). We have Honest natural bug spray at A-frame but it never hurts to bring your own. We also have citronella torches and sticks for mosquitoes but know that you are in nature at a remote location and therefore in a bug’s territory. There is not a large presence and me usually only notice a few at dusk. Bugs will be there regardless and most of the time not bothersome but know you will see some especially in a cabin that has a convertible wall. *Noises: During the day or night you might hear the birds, coyotes, turkeys, squirrels, deer walking around or other critters going about their daily life. The road is 150 feet away but hardly any traffic due to the trailhead not being well known. People and the ranch rent ATV’s so you can hear them if they come down the road. It can be very quiet or can sound like a melody when the wind blows through the leaves or the ratty tat of the rain hitting the metal roof. It is all the beautiful noise and pieces that make this place so unique. *Convertible Wall: Presently we have gas spring mounted brackets to help and defer the differential of weight with the lifting and lowering of the wall. It is not hard but awkward. There is additional brace if needed to hold the wall up for the person holding the wall also and can leave for your use if needed. We thought about putting in a pulley system but it would cut into the view so we went with awkward for now. -With two people: *To open: you lift the wall from closed to open by pushing and lifting on integrity frame and once open, one person holds open the wall and one unlocks orange legs and places them vertically *To close: you reverse. So one person holds the wall up while the other lowers the legs and secures the lock. Then with the gas spring bracket you slowly lower. -For single guests(URL HIDDEN)*We have a system to safely and slowly lower/raise the wall solo and can help if needed. We will send you specific instructions and ask if help is needed. Everything listed above is what makes the A-frame so unique and amazingly different from other places. It is all about perspective and what experience you want to take out of it, hopefully, the above-listed items will enhance your stay and enjoyment. Here is what else is included in the property during your stay: ¬Toilet: Outside structure: The property has a Biolet composting toilet (Lexus of composting toilets) The BioLet 25 is the world's first fully automatic composting toilet. In our quest to provide our customers with a toilet that is as convenient to use and operate as a flush toilet, a fully automatic mixing system has been added to the quiet fan and thermostatically controlled heaters. NO Mess and NO SMELL. ¬Shower: Outside structure with the inside/outside door. So you can take a shower inside or open the sliding barn door to shower outside with a secluded nature view. Propane on demand, low volume water shower with Cruelty-Free Shampoo, Conditioner and Soap provided. ¬Wash Basin to wash hands with water and soap and towels provided. ¬Linens and Towels included. Extra blanket and throws are in A frame to make it cozy for you. ¬Fan and Heater. Since the A-frame is convertible and open to nature, we provide a fan to cool and a Big Buddy propane heater for heat. ¬Propane BBQ and Volcano wood/charcoal stove provided. For ease of cooking with a choice of how to prepare food. ¬Plates, cups, utensils: Biodegradable Paper plates, bowls and glass products provided. ¬Breakfast: My favorite modest breakfast starter of steel cut organic or organic rolled oatmeal and fruits with “fixings." I just like it because you boil the water, let steep for 15-20 minutes and eat. Easy, delicious and nutritious for the early hikers. I am not listing a full breakfast because it is not a big enough meal for all, but for me it is divine. oApple Cinnamon oApricot-Almond oMaple, Brown Sugar and Golden Raisins oCranberry, Almond, and Hemp o Fruit, Flax, and Chia oCurrents, Pepita and Flax oFunky Monkey (banana, dark chocolate and coconut flakes oRaspberry and dark chocolate oTriple Berry mix oBlueberries and cream oPeaches and cream oStrawberry and banana ¬Cooking tools: Pots and skillets, plastic thick silverware, knives and cutting board, french press and coffee and tea provided. All soap, dish soap, and dish towels provided. ¬Yukon Igloo cooler provided for maximum chilling of foods (you provide ice block to keep it cold), small ice/beverage cooler provided for constant in and out for drinks (you provide ice) ¬Margaritaville Explorer Cordless Frozen Concoction Maker by Margaritaville: Our secret indulgence: Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Battery operated margarita/daiquiri blender Provided. (you provide ice and beverages) Makes amazing Margaritas! Very Chill and relaxing to have an excellent margarita in nature! Where else offers you a perfect margarita in nature? It is my secret pleasure at dusk- but anytime is nice-- it is 5 o'clock somewhere! ¬Herb Container: Herbs can be cut fresh and put into meals. ¬Tiki torches and citronella oils provided (4 of them with bases). There are fairy lights and solar lights illuminating the main path. ¬Fire pit and firewood provided. Please keep fires moderate or mild in size due to forest fire risk! Fire screen and fire sticks for marshmallow or bananas (vegetarian/vegan way to make smores) provided. ¬Camp furniture: Adirondack chairs, bistro dining set, and small table provided. 2 camp chairs to have by fire are provided. ¬Stargazing: telescope and lounge chairs in the meadow ¬Games: Board and card games provided as well as coloring and colored pencils (fun for relaxation). -Horseshoes and Giant Jenga playing area: with Adirondack Bench ¬Books on local hikes and Zion provided for use. Reading books are provided as well as magazines. ¬Water: A few gallons of spring drinking water provided until ultraviolet water filtration system is installed. Please provide your own Nalgene or bottles for hiking. Cups provided but nothing suitable for hiking. The spring water comes from the Canyon Springs and Zion Ponderosa Ranch who provides the water, does not use a filter system for their guests and deems it as potable water. I like filtering all water, so I will not describe the water as potable until it is multi-filtered. ¬Solar power is provided to A-frame but we like the battery operated Candles for ambiance. ¬Entry: Keyless Door lock provides security on the front door. We change with every guest for the security of our guests. ¬Cart: to bring items from car to A-frame. It is a heavier cart, for the terrain. We are working on having dogs on the property, so inquire if you have an animal you want to bring. But due to the predator wildlife (coyotes, wolf, cougar), if your dog is a “runner” due to no fences except park fence, I would say it is not safe. Small dogs are not safe due to eagles (5.9-7.5 foot wingspan) and owls. If there are any questions, please contact us. We made this house with our ideas and dreams of what a perfect retreat for us would be and now share it with you. So, if there are suggested items needed please let us know. We hope your stay is a wonderful and blissful experience filled with great memories! Enjoy life- Britt and Mike
Our nearest neighbors are 4 acres away through the woods. The East Rim Trailhead is 140 feet away from the property and the East Rim Trail is 10 miles in total length. Depending on which trail you take, these hikes can be mild to strenuous with durations of 1/2 hour to 6 hours plus. East Rim Trail links with Weeping Rock , Cable Mountain, Deertrap Mountain, Hidden Canyon and Observation Point. Elevation change down into the canyon is roughly 2,150 feet. The plateau we are on is over 6,500 feet vs 4,000 feet on the park floor, which means while Springdale is 98 F/36 C degrees, you are at 85 F/29 C degrees at the A-frame (9-13 degree difference). It can be cool in the evening and during the summer warm to hot usually during the daytime hours of 1200-1600. The upper areas of the park are part of large plateaus and are less shielded from breezes so wind-chill is something to take into consideration. Late summer/early fall (July to October) has afternoon showers that last an hour or so. Weather for the park : nps.gov/ zion/ planyourvisit/ weather-and-climate. htm Phone for Zion National Park: 435. 772. 3256 The park information office is open between 8 am and 4 pm Mountain Time Historical Monthly Average Temperatures per Zion Ponderosa Ranch July 89 ° high, 58 °low precipitation is 1.25 August 86 °high, 57 °low and precipitation is 1.71 September 79 ° high, 48 ° low and precipitation is 1.23 October 71 ° high, 40° low and precipitation is 1.00 (last year was warmer 70's/45 -50's)
  • Britt was an awesome host going above and beyond expectations. The A frame was clean and well stocked with anything you would need for your stay. The location is only a short drive to Zion National Park. Off the beaten path this was an experience we will never forget.

  • Exactly what I needed. Peace and serenity. The perfect distance to Zion and great hikes all around. The place was pristine and Britt made sure that everything was set perfect for my stay. I would love to come back.

  • Britt and Michael's cabin was the perfect way to kick off our week in Utah and AZ. The cabin was so cozy and charming, and we loved making s'mores and sitting out by the fire. We can't wait to return!

    Julia2017-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Just when you think your expectations are met, this stunning A-frame retreat gives you surprises well above the expected. From copper ceiling panels to solar genius to fairy lights that enhance a stunning location, Britt and Michael have thought about everything a proper glamping experience should provide. A fantastic and unique way to enjoy Zion.

  • We were so sad we only got to stay two days at this amazing space. The cabin itself is small and cozy with a huge bed. Britt and Mike made sure we had lots of blankets and propane for the heater since the nights were pretty cold. All around the cabin there are places to lounge in sun chairs, around the fire, or play games they’ve provided like corn hole and horse shoes. There were so many pleasant surprises and we are already planning when we can go back. We definitely recommend this cabin! Especially if you love the outdoors because you are tucked away in the mountains amongst deer, wild turkeys, and blue jays.

    Jessica2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • As city folk, we get along fine around people and business but yearn to be secluded and enjoying nature. If you like that too, you are going to love this place! The cabin is adorable and the place is a bit magical. I love bringing the inside space and enjoying it outside to a degree - so the convertible park of the A-frame awesome. It's a must try. Be sure to be strategic with the citronella oil can candles because the bugs can get to ya with the Aframe open but if you are smart its beyond worth it. My wife's favorite part was night time. We had a cloudy stormy sky off and on so we could not see the stars- but watching the solar power& time lights twinkle to life gives it an air of magic that sums up the entire place. Of and to be so close to the East Rim is awesome! We are avid but not experienced hikers, do yourself a favor and "go back" to the first McBear sign if you struggle with heights or crumbly ledges. Echo Canyon is full of it. East Mesa Trail is easier. :) will definitely try to stay here again!

  • This was by far the best AirBnB I've ever stayed at! Britt and her husband made us feel welcome from the very beginning. They were extremely helpful and timely with any questions before we even arrived, and then once we were there they went above and beyond with thoughtfulness. The whole place had a charming home-made touch and every detail was considered. She left notes explaining how things worked around the A-frame (how to work the solar-powered stuff), provided games, a little bit of food/drink, firewood (they even set up our campfire for us!!), detailed maps of nearby hikes, coffee, tea, snacks, blankets, and the CUTEST oatmeal breakfast bar! Everything was so thoughtful and you can tell how much love and work they put into this place. The place itself is amazing and so secluded in the woods. It was peaceful at night and the stars are easy to see- they even provide you with a telescope. We have nothing but good things to say and memories to keep for this trip and we will absolutely be back. Thanks Britt!!

  • Really fun experience! You're off the grid, but the hosts take enormous care to make you comfortable beyond expectations. Also, you're literally steps from a trail to Observation Point, one of the most beautiful hikes in Zion National Park. Highly recommend this place.

  • This has been so far our favorite air BNB we've stayed at. The room was great: soft bed, beautiful fixtures, coffee and coffee maker, tea, hot chocolate, hot water maker, fridge, glasses/utensils. The property was also great, right on the river with chairs to sit and enjoy the view and sounds. The hot tub was amazing (we went in it every night :) ), and the local deer kept us entertained. Our hosts had great recommendations and were so nice. Doesn't hurt that breakfast is included too. Location is ideal- the shuttle stop is close-by and we caught the free shuttle to Zion and never had to worry about parking.

  • The host canceled this reservation 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • Fantastic place to stay in Moab. Very cute cabin feel with the Virgin River running through the backyard, surrounding scenery is amazing. JoNell and her husband were fantastic hosts! Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the area. Also a short shuttle ride to downtown area and Zion national park. Very convenient!

    Jenna2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • JoNell was the perfect hostess - the room was clean and had all the amenities. The Jacuzzi was the best thing to come home to after a long day of hiking. Her property was absolutely beautiful and perfectly situated!

    Kimberly2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying here! 1 mile from National Park and less than a mile to restaurants, shops, ect. JoNell had great recommendations and very helpful. The grounds are beautiful, def stay here over a hotel. You won't regret it. No washer and dryer, heads up but laundromat in town. Get to the park super early parking fills up by 9am. Hike on.

  • This was a perfect place for exploring Zion. As good as the pictures look on the website, the place itself was even better. It is within walking distance of several good restaurants and the Zion shuttle. There were amazing views of the surrounding canyons. This place is an amazing oasis right in the center of Springdale. • This is a gem!!! The perfect place to stay in Zion! There’s an amazing grocery store across the street, great restaurants in walking distance and a short block to the free shuttle! Jack’s place is the cleanest, most comfortable place I have ever stayed in on air B and B. Charming, beyond clean, accommodating and gorgeous! Worth every penny!

    Jacqueline2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jack's place is a cozy, artistic space located a short walk to a bus stop that takes you right into Zion Canyon. The layout of the space really increased the quality of the stay.

  • The Historic Rose Cottage was a perfect base for our trip to Zion National Park. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully presented and very cosy and comfortable. The free shuttle bus into the park was only a 2 minute walk away and all of the other amenities of Springdale were accessible on foot. Jack was the perfect host; he made it easy to book, offered good advice on the local area and was fully responsive to our queries. I would definitely recommend the Historic Rose Cottage as a place to stay when visiting Zion.

    Karen2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jack's place is perfectly located and looks just like the photos. Super convenient and cozy. Can take the shuttle in, which is right across the street or get up early and drive into the park like we did. Was convenient since we had parking at his place and could load up the car each morning. We also used the store across the street so we could come back and cook our own meals. We walked around a few nights and would recommend you check out Bit & Spur which is right down the street.

Next to restaurants, grocery store, best coffee house in town (Deep Creek), and plenty of shops. The condo was perfect for party of 4 and room for a couple more. Upgraded and clean amenities in the house and great patio areas on both levels of the property.

The Zion Suite is a one bedroom apartment with all of the comforts of home. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The bathroom has a walk in tile shower. The great room features a full kitchen, dining table, living room area with a queen size leather sofa sleeper. The Suite features artwork from LaFave Gallery. • Absolutely perfect in every way. We loved drinking coffee and having breakfast on the deck in the morning, and grilling out there for dinner. Clean, comfortable bed and great shower. If we're ever back to Zion this is the only place we want to stay.

  • My husband, our two daughters and I appreciated the comfort of Zion suite very much, especially after spending long days in the park in some really hot weather. Comfortable beds and couches, excellent shower and extra towels, coffee in the morning and filtered cold water with ice for hot days in the park, and a beautiful view from the patio - we enjoyed it all! We also liked the gallery next door and the proximity of restaurants and the shuttle bus stop. Thank you for hosting us! We hope to return back some day and are happy recommend the place to our friends.

  • It was a wonderful place to stay and my kids were able to climb rocks right out back. You get a view with every window!

  • The Zion Suite st LaFave was absolutely amazing. The condo is gorgeous, in the perfect location, and the view from the back patio is incredible. Kathy was awesome in coordinating our stay. I will absolutely be staying here on my next adventure to Zion.

  • The Zion suite was beautiful, immaculately clean, and in a great location. We had everything we needed and more including complimentary coffee and tea. The views of the park are amazing. Kathy gave us great tips to the park. Zion was amazing and we even took the quick drive to Bryce Canyon. This place is any hikers dream!

Juniper Lane is right in the center of town, yet very quiet. Nama-Stay has an especially secluded feel with a large backyard and uninterrupted views of the Watchman and Johnson Mountains.
  • The house is beautiful and spacious, with gorgeous views from the back yard. Jonathan and Catrin were wonderful hosts. Jonathan also happens to be a professional outdoor and canyoneering guide. Besides recommending hikes for us, he took my husband and teenagers on a terrific canyoneering day trip in the area. (We arranged this separately from airbnb.) We hope to return before too long!

    Nina2015-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Nama-Stay is a beautiful home and exactly as presented on airbnb. Jonathan and Catrin were perfect hosts. Catrin answered all my questions leading up to our stay. My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and 18 month granddaughter were visiting Zion for my husbands 60th birthday. We were able to stay a full week and it was perfect for all of us. The location is great. Not right in town (which is nice) but within walking distance. A very short drive to the park entrance. The rooms are open and airy with large windows. The view from the living room and patio are beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals and I even cooked our Thanksgiving meal. If we ever have the chance to go back to Zion I would defiantly check to see if Nama-Stay is available.

    Katherine2014-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Catrin's Nama-Stay vacation home is amazing and Catrin is a great host. She met us when we arrived, gave us a great tour of the house, and was super friendly. The house itself is a great space. I stayed here with a few coworkers and it was an excellent base camp for us to explore Zion, just a few min from the park entrance. The kitchen was well stocked and we made several delicious meals here. Finally, the view out the backyard is amazing and not to be missed. Sitting outside and having morning breakfast on her patio was one of my favorite things to do.

    Wayne2014-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Nama-Stay was a beautiful oasis at the entrance of spectacular Zion. Its high ceilings and huge windows were wonderful to return to after a day of hiking in the park. Catrin, Jonathan and Massimo were excellent hosts, providing hiking suggestions (complete with maps!), restaurant recommendations, and advice to maximize enjoyment of the amazing park. I had a wonderful time and would love to go back.

    Crystal2012-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our host, Catrin, was amazing. She made everything so easy. She suggested we stop at one of the large grocery stores we passed on our way to Springdale, which was a big help. We were in contact re our arrival time and she met us when we pulled into the driveway. She responded immediately to all our inquiries, whether by text or email. Likewise, she made great recommendations re hiking and things to do in all types of weather. She was a pleasure to work with. She made us feel very comfortable and welcome. I have already recommended her home to friends who are contemplating a similar trip next summer. FYI, this was my first airbnb experience. It was so positive I plan to use airbnb as often as possible for my future travels!

    Mary2014-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend Nama-Stay. The house was large and airy, with a great view of the east canyon wall. All the amenities were there, clean, and in good working order. Our family loved staying there, and many evenings, relatives who were staying nearby left their rentals, and came over to join us for supper, relax, enjoy the view, and spend time with us. Catrin was a very nice, helpful host.

    Martin2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Nama Stay was everything we could have imagined, and then some. We had a magical week that was highlighted by this 'home away from home'. Catrin and Jonathan are the most gracious hosts, and made us feel not only welcome but as if we were family. The house itself is in the bets location possible. Steps away from the center of Springdale, but so quiet that you can't even hear a car pass by. The property has magnificent mountain views from both the inside of the house, and the expansive lawn. The house itself leaves nothing to be desired. it has EVERYTHING you can imagine, from big to small, including some surprises you didn't imagine, like genuine drums and gongs that add to its mystical feel. The house has all the amenities and facilities of a modern house, including washer, drier, dish washer, central heat and A/C, fast WiFi internet, HD TV, etc, but maintains its rustic feel, mainly due to its subtle decor, and exposed wood, 15' ceilings, that makes you feel like you're in the mountains. This is truly a gem, and we can't wait to come back.

Amazing views of the Watchman, small garden and quiet space in the heart of Springdale. A mix of modern, rustic and trendy.
The space is ideal for a couple, someone visiting solo, or perhaps a father/son or mother/daughter vacation. Sleeps two in a super comfy Queen murphy bed that pulls down from the left wall. *Please note, pictures are taken of model unit. Actual unit is very similar with a few slight changes.
Neighborhood is quaint and lovely! Close to everything! Enjoy!
  • Super nice people. Very responsive. The place is great. Have your own little patio and lawn. Nice sun. Grocery store is right there. Bus to Zion is right there. Very cool spot. I will stay at this spot next time I'm in Zion. And will recommend to people. Enjoy!

    Alexander2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Ticia's place was better than any hotel we could have found. It was as quiet as Zion could possibly be and the bed was to comfy to leave. Perfect night and wish we could have stayed longer.

    Marleija2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • What an experience! The structure is obviously unique, but the way Ticia has appointed this tiny home makes it the best kind of cozy. You definitely know you're about to enjoy all that Zion has to offer when looking at the flower garden's juxtaposition to the red mountain peaks behind it. Stores and restaurants are easily walkable. This is the perfect basecamp to recharge at after exploring!!

    Sterling2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Ticia and her place couldn't have been nicer. It was nice and cozy for my wife and I. It was truly a unique experience staying in a shipping container too! The place was clean and we'll furnished. Ticia was also able to suggest a great place to eat, Oscars. We ended up eating there both nights of our stay we liked it so much. Enough about that. We'd definitely recommend Ticias 's place to anyone that is looking for a clean, convenient and affordable place to stay while visiting Zion.

    Mike2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The room is nice and very comfortable. The bed was honestly great - maybe the best feature. Very conveniently located to food in Springdale and to Zion itself. Definitely would stay again.

    John2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable container cottage (studio) and amazingly smart use of such a small space. The space was very clean, comfortable and well thought-out. It appears to be in the early stages of renting, so a few kinks to be worked through, but Ticia was very responsive with all requests and issues. We also LOVED the proximity to Zion National Park, the walkability to local grocery, restaurants, bus line, etc and especially enjoyed the adorable outdoor space (deck with couch, grill, table and chairs, and a little grassy space to lay back and look up at the beautiful night sky)! Perfect for 1 or 2 people who are comfortable sharing a small space!

    Allyson2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a unique space (tiny house style) that is perfect location for visiting Zion. We highly recommend it.

    Cindy2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Super stylish use of a small space, great location, easy access to bus lines and in town. Ticia is very responsive and welcoming, yet allows you your privacy. May need to be creative if you are a heavy packer as not room to spread out. Loved our stay !

  • This is the place for a relaxing and recharging experience at Zion. We spent the weekend here during the Zion half marathon and it was heaven.

  • The host was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us all the things we needed to know about the house and various amenities that it included. The pictures don't do this house justice. It is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. The host had all the local hiking, mountain biking, and eatery information that you could possibly need. When we walked in the door, it was like walking into a day spa with an indoor fountain and the mellow music to go along with it.

The Desert Tortoise Room, our smallest, is downstairs and sunny with queen-sized bed, easy access, and full private bath. The window faces our spacious front lawn and enormous pecan trees.
Cozy, roomy, peaceful, playful, comfortable... Set back from the main road, there are four comfortable bedrooms to offer, each with their own full private bathroom. Three beds are queen-sized, one king, with extra bed options if needed. One bedroom is on the ground floor. PLEASE NOTE: We are less a typical BnB, and more a "bed and full kitchen!" Learning from our time working as local outfitters and guides, and mindful of the many different food preferences and allergies, we work in a different model and do not offer a prepared breakfast so you can better plan your meals in any way befitting your adventure schedule and eating routines. In our large and fully equipped communal kitchen you will hopefully find all you need, including complimentary fresh-ground coffee, an assortment of teas, a room-specific cupboard for all your shelf-stable items, and a shared refrigerator. There are also a few basic convenient food items available (oat meals, juices, non-dairy milks, snacks) especially helpful if you happen to arrive late. There are also excellent grocery and restaurant options in the nearby town of Springdale, just up the road at the entrance to the national park.
We are located on Main Street (Utah State Highway 9) in quiet, tree-lined Rockville, Utah, at the mouth of Zion Canyon, just 3 miles from lively Springdale and 5 miles from the south gate of Zion National Park.
  • Lisa and Lizette where great hosts and where very communicative. Lisa even drove out to let us in and explain several potential Zion hikes.

    Renee2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa & Lizette have a wonderful house that is very close to the zion national park. You can very easily get lot of useful information about the hikes and local tourist places either by talking to them, or reading the many books that they have in the house. They have maps etc in the dining room to make it easier to plan the trip or make any last minute changes. They are also very eager to share tips about local food, how to check for weather changes or storm. They were also very flexible and let me store the food in the refrigerator well before the check-in time.

    Aravinda2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This Inn was super easy to find and was perfectly located near the park entrance. There are numerous restaurants and shops along the way to and from the park. When you drive up to the Inn you'll notice the beautiful scenery that surrounds you. There are so many outdoor amenities like a campfire, hammock, grill, and patio areas that are so wonderful. There are a total of 4 bedrooms so during your stay you may be introduced to new people that you can share stories with. We shared the space with a New Zealand couple and was thrilled to learn about their country and experiences. The Inn is so well organized with every space clearly marked so that there are no questions. There are pamphlets and restaurant menus for quick references. They also provide entertainment with a decent sized bookshelf and games for families. There is a cabinet and shelf in the refrigerator dedicated to your belongings. If you bought extra food, don't fret, because you can leave behind stuff for others to take. The only negative comment I have is that I wished the AC was turned up higher. I had to open up the window and turn on the fan to stay cool during the night. Our room was really clean and comfortable. I loved everything about this Inn and would definitely stay here again when I visit Zion in the near future.

    Naomi2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the Desert Tortoise Room on the lower level of the home which is near the front entry and adjacent to the common living room. I was a bit concerned that other guest may be using the living room at late hours, however the two couples staying there were great people. Both had several outdoor activities planned throughout the day like ourselves, and they were early risers. The room was clean and the attached bathroom was well stocked. The kitchen was clean and included all the necessary cooking items. The fee coffee was good quality and quite tasty. The outdoor decks were very nice and the grounds were well kept. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

    David2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely Inn close to the main entrance to Zion, private rooms with shared common space, including a full kitchen. Beautiful place to rest the mind, body and spirit. Great information about what to do in the area whatever your interests, abilities, and inclinations might be. In addition to being great hosts, they are also artists and guides who know the inner and outer landscape of the area (Zion Guru). Great place to meet other travelers and share stories, experiences or just kick back and relax after a long day of exploring, hiking, etc. Nice labyrinth in the front yard. Beautiful to just hang out on the porch at beginning or end of the day. Queer friendly and people friendly in general. We couldn't have been happier. Deborah and Kate

  • We had a perfect visit at Two Cranes Inn during our 2 day visit to Zion NP. Lisa and Lizzette have a beautiful home that is near the park (< 10 minute drive) and close to several great restaurants. They are outdoor experts and had several recommendations that helped us to maximize time at the park. Furthermore, they provided tons of additional resources to make our stay comfortable. They were incredibly transparent, hospitable and welcoming. When we come back to Zion we will try to stay with them again!

    Marc2017-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts communicated very well via email, and responded promptly to our questions. The house was absolutely amazing; so well-equipped and luxurious, with a beautiful garden with hammocks. This luxuriant home feels like you stepped into a resort. Opulently decorated but oh so relaxing and comfortable. Even though your coming to visit the breathtaking Zion National Park, you will feel like you came to enjoy the ambiance and vibe of this beautiful home.
The Pa'rus suite really brings opulence and cozy together. This beautiful room has a special serene and welcoming feeling about it and requested by many of our repeat guests for how quiet and cozy you feel while sleeping in this deliciously comfortable bed. flat screen TV with satellite right at the foot of your bed, the only thing you'll struggle with is getting yourself to leave the comfort of these accommodations for your glorious Zion hikes.
Beautiful historic neighborhood with 1 road passing through on its way to Zion. The entire town is canopied by old growth trees and the Virgin river that runs all along the town.
  • Very close to Zion National Park with good driving access to the restaurants and shops in Springdale.

  • Really enjoyed staying in this beautiful B&B! Maureen is a lovely person and very sweet! The house is less than 10 minutes away from Zion National Park visitor center. Our room was very comfortable with our own bathroom. We would definitely return and stay here again!

    Megan2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great location just outside of Springdale where Zion is located. It’s a lovely Bed and Breakfast and you could not find more accommodating people to engage with. Syndi was so helpful in giving us suggestions and working to get us the best possible situation. Maureen is kind and generous and a wonderful host. This particular room is a bit small for 2 people, but still lovely and most of the time we were out hiking at Zion or Bryce which is not too far of a drive. We had absolutely no complaints. There is a shuttle in town that runs frequently to take you to the park which is very convenient. It was a great stay and very reasonable.

  • The house was in a perfect location- right down the road from the entrance to Zion Natl Park. Maureen was very outgoing and friendly and even waited up for us to check in. She always greeted us with a smile and stocked the house with plenty of candy for post-hike sugar cravings. Overall, the house offered plenty of amenities and was a great spot to relax away from the crowds. I would stay there again.

The location was beautiful, overlooking the canyons right outside of the park. The only surprise was that tax was not included in the listing price.

  • Amber Inn is a quiet B&B and was very close in proximity to Zion Park and the local restaurants. Our room was very spacious and clean. The host, Nida is very informative and suggested a bunch of different things to do so that no time would go to waste. She is very sweet with a good sense of humor. If and when returning to Zion, I would definitely be returning to Amber Inn.

  • We loved staying at Nida's place. She is a very pleasant and nice host. We really had good time talking to her. Me n wife would love to go back to her place whenever we go to Zion. She took care of us very well. She makes amazing breakfast too.. I would suggest stating at her place for anyone without any doubts. She gave lot of info abt Zion n Utah.

  • Would not go back for a number of reasons. First told to unload car out front where traffic was speeding by (dangerous) and then to park in back. Did so but after parking in back had another bag to get. Entered the back way but scolded for doing so - I didn't see a small note that it was a private area. The next day when tried to leave from front the host blocked the door and told me to leave through the back because the humming bird was with its baby. Bathroom had sink but no counter space. The night before we left we were told not to use the shower in the morning because we were leaving too early, Old TV and fan that no longer oscillated.

Come visit our 5 acre property backing up to Zion National Park! The cabin is located by the Zion Ponderosa Ranch and is 13 minutes from the East entrance to the park. The trail-heads to Cable Mountain and the East Rim Trail are out our front door!
Surrounded by towering Ponderosa Pines, privacy and quiet will be you new best friends! The full length of the 5 acre lot back up to Zion Nation Park! The cabin is rustic, but has a flushing toilet with running water from a gravity fed system. The water is from a well that is potable. It is necessary, however, to filter this water before drinking as it is stored in a cistern. We have provided a Britta filter pitcher to use. There is power to the cabin and a 32 inch HDTV with a Blu-Ray player for you to watch movies on. We keep the TV stuff stored in the bedroom closet as most guests don't end up using it! you can also bring a mobile Dish or Direct TV setup to use. We get cell service as well (ATT for sure!). If it gets cold, there are 2 electric radiant heaters that are overkill for the space, or a wood burning stove that will sweat you out no problem! If you are hot, we have a window air conditioning unit that we put up in the warmer months. 1 queen bed and 1 pullout couch will comfortably sleep 4, with just enough room for another air mattress if you want to try squeezing in more. All space included, you have all of 500 square feet to explore! We just redid the flooring and the cabin now has a nice wood laminate floor. The kitchen is stocked with most dishes and cooking pots, pans, and utensils. You will also have use of a full sized refrigerator, oven, and microwave. The shower in the bathroom works, but is on the small side! If you need more space (and water pressure!), there are hot showers available about a mile up the road at Zion Ponderosa Ranch. They cost a small amount to use, but we cover it for our guests. They also offer a variety of entertaining activities, including a very nice pool! You can also eat at the ranch at for a reasonable price. There is nowhere closer to the Cable Mountain/East Rim Trail-head than here! It is a short walk from the front door! If you are planning on hiking the full Narrows, this is on the way to the top! We are also very close the Englestead Canyon drop in rappel point and many other hikes and activities!
The cabin is located in a remote quiet area, but is only 13 minutes to the East entrance to Zion National Park, and about 15-20 minutes to Mt. Caramel Junction and Orderville. If you want to go to Kanab, it's around 30-35 minutes. Lake Powell is 2 hours away. Springdale, on the West side of the park, is 34-45 minutes.
  • Ben's cabin is super cute and definitely rustic! If you are the outdoorsy type, you will love it. There are awesome back roads to explore (recommend a 4x4), a nice sitting area, and eating breakfast looking out the windows was a great way to start our morning. Being on the East side of Zion, it provides you with a beautiful view of Zion on Highway 9 as you make your way to the Zion shuttles, including a trip through Caramel Tunnel. There are also trailheads close to the cabin. Being July, we were thankful for the very cold air conditioning unit Ben has in the cabin! Works great. As for any warnings, make sure your expectations are set for a rustic experience! Our showers were hot but ran out of water the last night (Ben responded right away). We also had plumbing issues with the toilet (Ben jumped right on the phone with plumbers, but it's difficult on the weekend). We knew we were going to a small rustic cabin in the woods and things happen, so we went with the flow. The positive is ponderosa ranch is close.. with showers and bathrooms. We also hit their amazing Narrows Coffee Bar on our way to Zion each morning. Even though there were some challenges, we value communication & response above everything, and Ben definitely does that!

  • The cabin was perfect, very close to Zion and not too far away for a quick trip to Bryce Canyon. I agree with the other reviews, it has the perfect amount of comfort without unnecessary frills. The water was winterized as Ben has previously warned us about but he provided a lot of extra water to circumvent that. Learning to flush a toilet with external water was a new skill to us and washing dishes was a little challenging but besides that it was fine. The cabin was very warm once you get the fire going and fit 4 people comfortably. Ben was an excellent host, and provided clear instructions on how to find the place. I would definitely stay here again on my next Zion trip.

    Remington2016-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We have been very well remotely supported by Ben before and during our stay. A couple of days before our arrival, we received a message providing details on directions.. as it is not so easy to find the Cabin in the middle of forest. To fully take benefit of this Cabin and its natural environment, I think it is worth to stay several days (it was too short for us for one night), to live a couple of days in a quiet and retired area, to hike in the surrounded forest or till the Zion canyon, to discover the natural life (many birds heard) in the forest, etc.

    Azad2016-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Ben made us feel incredibly welcome. He was friendly and responsive to our questions, and provided clear directions about the house and surrounding area. This rustic little cabin was located in a lovely wooded area that felt truly removed, and made for great star-gazing. Unfortunately, there were problems with the septic system when we got there. Ben was great about getting it fixed as soon as possible, but it was good that there is a ranch resort nearby for extra bathrooms. Also, be warned that the septic pump makes a thumping sound about every 45 seconds (even after it was fixed). With the fan on it wasn't too noticeable, but we ended up using earplugs to sleep.

    Lindsay2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Ben was very communicative and gave great recommendations around the area. He answered our questions and was very accommodating. Thanks!

    Lena and Matin2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Ben is a super responsive host and helped us find the cabin when our gps led us astray at night. The cabin is just as pictured, rustic and surrounded by trees. It's about a 40 min scenic drive through the park from the cabin to the Zion visitor center (where you can catch the shuttle to the trails). We loved our stay here!

    Nicki2016-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Ben was great at communicating with us, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was great, located very close to the Zion National Park. The only drawback was that the water wasn't working at all because the pipes were frozen (we went in late November). Ben graciously offered to cover the cost of showering at the nearby Ponderosa Ranch, which was about a 5 minute drive away. He also supplied a few 6 gallon jugs of fresh water to use for brushing teeth, washing face and hands, etc. To be fair, Ben did give us a warning that this could happen, but only after we already booked.

    Joseph2016-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Ben's cabin! It's far enough out of the way to be nice and private, and well laid out. The beds were much more comfortable than I imagined they'd be, and Ben was always quick to communicate when we had questions. The weather was a bit colder than we'd anticipated, but the space heaters keep things warm. I do recommend that if you're coming in wet or cold weather to arrange a truck or SUV, as our rental car couldn't make it down the dirt road. Once we got there, however, our concerns melted away in the lovely atmosphere of the cabin!

Our cabin is located on Zion Ponderosa Resort (Zion Ponderosa Ranch) property right on the Zion National Park fence line. Come enjoy the peaceful serenity of our 2 acre property filled with Ponderosa Pine, junipers and a variety of other plant and animal life. This Zion home is perfect for accommodating up to 6 guests on vacation. Come enjoy Zion seclusion while still being close to Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion Ponderosa Ranch resort amenities!
RELAX AND BASK IN THE SOLITUDE of Zion National Park… We are located on the east border of Zion. Venture into the back-country of Zion park right from the cabin's backyard or you’re just 15 minutes from the east gate entrance by car. Zion National Park's Observation Point and/or Cable Mountain trail heads are just minutes away. Our Zion Cabin property is part of an award winning 4,000 acre Zion Ponderosa Ranch resort loaded with amenities. The East Rim Trailhead is 5 minutes walking distance away from the property and the East Rim Trail is 10 miles in total length. Depending on which trail you take, these hikes can be mild to strenuous with durations of 1/2 hour to 6 hours plus. East Rim Trail links with Weeping Rock, Cable Mountain, Deertrap Mountain, Echo Canyon, Hidden Canyon and Observation Point. Orderville Canyon and Zion Narrows trailheads are 20 and 40 minutes away. Elevation change down into the canyon is roughly 2,150 feet. We're conveniently located to walk out into Zion rather than hike up from the bottom. Guests have been known to walk down into the Zion Canyon floor area (weeping rock, lower Zion Narrows, etc.) then catch a free park shuttle before taking pre-arranged transportation back to the cabin. The mountains plateau we are on is over 6,500 feet vs 4,000 feet on the park floor, which means while Springdale is 98 F/36 C degrees, you are at 85 F/29 C degrees at the cabin (9-13 degree difference). It can be cool in the evening and during the summer warm to hot usually during the daytime hours. It's always refreshing to step inside the air conditioned cabin after a day hiking. Late summer/early fall (July to October) has afternoon showers that last an hour or so.
Easy access to: Zion NationalPark Trailhead (s), Zion East Rim, Zion Cable Mountain, Zion Observation Point, Zion Narrows, Orderville Canyon, Convient access to ACTIVITIES (at the Zion Ponderosa Ranch): Climbing Wall, Miniature Golf, Trampoline Bungee and Zip Line. • This is a lovely, quaint cabin in a beautiful setting. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely photo postcard of the cabin, a personal note and a gift. The owner is extremely responsive. It is pretty secluded so you will definitely want to arrive during daylight hours. Our group was 4 adults and it was a bit snug. The loft area has very low ceilings (I’m 5’2” and couldn’t stand up). Of course we made it work and had a wonderful time and would definitely go back.

    Michelle2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely cabin is highly recommended. The property in the middle of the woods guarantees silence, cosyness and peace. An added value is its nearness to Ponderosa Ranch Resort, especially when you have kids enjoying the pool. The scenic view at east entrance of Zion Park is amazing, so some extra miles to reach the free shuttle is worth it. The hosts get 10/10 for communication.

  • Amazing house with a backyard that's right up against Zion national park. Awesome custom furniture, totally clean, hosts are amazing. Won't go wrong with choosing this place!

  • This place was great! Perfect distance from Zion and was a quick drive in for our hikes. Very comfortable. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and they left us a very sweet gift. This place was unique and exactly what we were looking for!

    Drew2017-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cute, clean well appointed cabin. We had excellent communication with the friendly owner Jim. I think this would be an ideal place to stay for a family of four. (Parents and two children) I went with my girlfriends- 4 adults in total. The photos make the cabin seem a bit larger than it actually is. The room with the two twin beds is actually a small loft with 4ft ceilings. It was a bit closterphobic for adults. However if I would have come with my kids-I'm sure they would have enjoyed the coziness of it. The cabin is quite a good distance from the main road, you will be traveling on dirt roads to get to it. I suggest you plan on arriving while there is still light out. We had a beautiful night roasting marshmallows around the charming fire-pit looking out toward the forest. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining area is very nice with a lovely table and chairs handmade by Jim. The owner built a very large industrial garage near the cabin to house the RV he owns. He stayed in there during our trip- so he was very close if there were any issues. However, I do think the garage takes away from the otherwise rustic serinity of the property. I would stay here again with my family, but the sleeping arrangements for four adults was a bit snug.

  • A great cabin in the woods with all the amenities. Be sure you arrive fully provisioned and fueled to save yourself unnecessary distractions from your holiday.

  • This is such a cute cabin, decor is beautiful, very clean and very well stocked with necessities.

  • We highly recommend staying at this cozy, charming and clean cabin. Our first night we enjoyed star gazing on the front deck. The location is very convenient to Zion. I wish we could have stayed longer. Jim was very quick to respond and made our first Airbnb experience amazing. Hope to go back someday!

Our home is located on Zion Ponderosa Resort property, just 8 miles from the east entrance of Zion National Park. Come enjoy the peaceful serenity of our 3 acre property filled with Ponderosa Pines. Hikes like Observation Point (favorite), Cable mountain and others are just minutes from our home. Our home is perfect for accommodating a family or two out on summer vacation, but cozy enough for a couples weekend. Come enjoy seclusion while still being close to Zion, Bryce, and resort amenities!
Our beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home is set back on a 3 acre wooded lot. It is 1.7 miles inside the Zion Ponderosa Resort property, which is bordering the east boundary of Zion National Park. We are 8 miles from the east entrance of Zion. The lot is peaceful and quiet, the only usual noise is the swaying of the towering Ponderosa Pines. The home is perfect for a cozy get away for a couple, or a larger family looking to experience Zion, Bryce, and Zion Ponderosa Resort. Bedroom 1 is upstairs and has a queen bed with an on suite bathroom and walk in closet, sleeps 2. The closet is actually quite large and is usual where my wife and I set up a pack and play for our little ones, we provide a pack and play stored in this closet. Bedroom 2 is downstairs and has a queen bed with a closet, sleeps 2. Bedroom 3 is downstairs and has two bunk beds, both twin over full, also with a regular closet, sleeps up to 6. Bathroom 1 is located in the upstairs bedroom. Bathroom 2 is shared by the two downstairs bedrooms. Extra pillows and blankets are in each of the closets for the pull out couches. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking needs including fridge, stove, oven, water dispenser, pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils, crock pot, coffee maker, toaster, griddle, outside grill. The living room downstairs has a large sectional which has a pull out couch in it. There is a ottoman that has extra blankets, a 42" tv, dvd player, and a real wood burning fire place. The upstairs loft has two sofas, the sofa against the wood wall is a pull out couch. There is also a second 42" tv, and dvd player. Outside there is a full length front porch and back porch. Two large pick nick tables are out on the back deck for you to enjoy meals outside. There is a propane grill out on the back porch for your use. An outside fire pit is located on the west end of the house where you can roast smore's and and enjoy the beautiful night sky. The large surrounding Ponderosa pines provide shadowing for most of the property and house throughout majority of the day. Because of the shade provided, 6500 ft elevation, as well as fans all throughout the house the house stays nice and cool even in the summer. If cooler temperatures are desired in the house we have provided three A/C units that can be turned on. There is one in each of bedrooms 1 and 2 and also one for the common areas of the house. Also cracking a window and turning on the fans will cool it quickly in the evening. . In addition to the wood burning fire place there is also a furnace that will warm through the whole house. We have stayed in our cabin during both cold seasons and hot and have never had a problem with being too cold or hot. There is also a washer, but no dryer, just a clothes line to hang dry in the back yard. There are coin operated washer and dryer facilities available at Zion Ponderosa if needed. Everything is fully furnished for the house!
You will see very few people when at the house, which you will LOVE after spending a day in the busy park. Close by is Zion Ponderosa Resort that provides you with options of resort amenities, while still being able to retreat to privacy and serenity. Those you do see are likely traveling to explore the hidden gems of Observation Point (top out rather than bottom up), and Cable Mountain hikes. Either of these hikes will allow you to spend your day hiking seeing very few people, while providing an ending of what some consider the most spectacular view of Zion. It will take about 13 minutes to travel the 8 miles to the east entrance of the park. Depending on time of year and traffic, it will take about 35 minutes to get to the west end of Zion where the visitor center is. Bryce Canyon is about 1.5 hr drive, Grand Canyon 2.5 hr drive, Lake Powell 1.5 hr drive, Coral Pink Sand Dunes 45 min drive.
  • Excellent location for visiting Zion and Bryce. Beautiful large house that comfortably slept the whole family. Attentive host that answered all our questions and made our stay enjoyable.

    Sean2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jake's place is very secluded. It was nice to get away from the crowds after a long day at Zion. Although it is a drive to the well-known hikes in Zion (45 min approx), we didn't mind it. We used this home as a base, traveling to Zion, Bryce, and North Rim Grand Canyon from the house ( I don't like to pack/unpack my suitcase often on trips!). The house is well equipped with shampoo, ketchup, mustard, PB, etc. It has a grill which we used often. Our boys loved the hammocks, too! It is about 5 min from the Ponderosa Ranch, where we went swimming/hot tubbing (for free). Jake was helpful, giving us recommendations for hikes, etc. I highly recommend this place.

    Nancy2017-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Located in a quiet and scenic area. We had a group of 10 and there was enough rooms/beds for everyone. Had a great stay overall, we visited Zion closeby and the east entrance gave us a great 12 mile tour through the park (visitors center is located on the west side). This location was a great place to come back to after a long day full of hikes and dealing with the large crowds at Zion. Despite it being summer, the evenings were cool and breezy (with hammocks outside to better enjoy!). Only caveat is that there is no cell service in the area and the house is a bit of ways off the main road.

    Jessica2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great house. Great location for solitude. House was well taken care of. Slept great with the windows open. Great movie line-up after a day of hiking.

    Brian2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great space for a group overnight! Thanks for everything Jake.

    Meredith2017-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Jake's house. The solitude of the house is such a refreshing change from the crowds of the main Zion valley, and we were able to access a part of the park that we didn't know existed. (Getting to observation point from this side of the park felt like cheating! Same breathtaking view, but no switch-backs!) The house itself is beautiful and cozy, and we were able to sleep 13 adults there comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils so we could cook together each night. The pool access at Zion Ponderosa was also a great perk. After a long hot day of hiking, it was the perfect way to relax and unwind. This is the perfect way to do a Zion vacation - highly recommend!

    Anna2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house is awesome, very clean and with a lot of space. A little tricky to find the directions to arrive, but very nice place in the middle of the forest.

    Enrique2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jake was very helpful! The place was great for our large family and fun to explore the brief time we were there. It was fun to sit on the porch and play games at night. The stars were incredible!!! Nice place to relax after a busy and crowded day at Zion!

Our beautiful cabin is located on the Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort property just a short distance from Zion National Park. Relax on the front porch among the Ponderosa Pines and abundant wildlife. Our cabin is the perfect place for a family vacation or up to six adults and yet still cozy enough for two.

  • Jim and Cheryl's cabin is an awesome spot to stay if you are looking to explore Zion. We stayed with 6 people and were very comfortable. It is very secluded with a true home feeling, and only about a 30-40 minute ride to the visitor center where the shuttle begins. Would recommend to anyone.

    Michael2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience, Jim and Cheryl Cabin and treatment made it very positive, it started from repeated messages from Jim at time of booking and arrival date to ensure we follow the map to get to the Cabin ,and during our stay to check on us to see if we need any thing . The cabin is immaculate ,every thing you need is available , we bought bunch stuff like sugar ,salt ,spices ,ketchup etc ,we found all of them and more are available . It was cozy retreat that we always looked for to come back after a long hiking trip in Zion, I am type of guy who like to eat healthy ,the kitchen had all the tools I need to enjoy cooking . Linens ,towels ,and blankets all smell great and clean ,I have severe type of dust allergy and always chose hotels carefully and by my standards ,believe me ,cleanness here is above your expectations ! I am a person who like to be with nature and away from noise ,if you are like me then this is the place for you . tips to new comers 1- Att works great in the Cabin ,I had 4 bars so I gave my friend hotspot access ,he has Verison ,no service and also even poor at the park itself 2- As you get off the main road UT 9 and take N Fork rd ,be vigilant to deers ,they are plenty . 3- Try to arrive to the cabin during day light , we arrived at night , and it was a little bit tricky but since Att worked close to the cabin ,we contacted Jim and he guided us through the road . 4- Please follow the rules of the cabin ,so Jim and Cheryl continue to provide this gem to other hikers

  • Jim and Cheryl have a wonderful place! It's in a great location--a little bit of a drive to Zion but totally worth it. It's quiet and scenic, and super comfortable. Loved the beds, more comfortable than most hotels! They are very easy to get ahold of and answer questions right away (even when we asked for restaurant recommendations :). I'd recommend staying there for anyone going to Zion who wants some peace and quiet!

    Kara2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jim & Cheryl's place. The location is very beautiful and the accommodations very comfortable. You have everything you need to enjoy the woods and mountain air. A great get away experience!

  • Great stay. Highly recommend if you're trying to go to any of the national parks. The house is cozy and had tons of space. You can't find a better spot

    Rohit2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • A great retreat to return to during our trip to Zion NP. The cabin is practically brand new right down to the linens, and impeccably clean. This is clearly a home that the owners use and enjoy for themselves and not just a rental property. Jim is a friendly, attentive and easy to work with host who genuinely seems to care that the people staying in his home enjoy their stay. This home is in a beautiful wooded rural resort community directly ajacent to Zion NP's eastern border and has access to flat trails on the upper rim of Zion that overlook Zion canyon. It is a 30 min drive to the south visitors center during periods of light traffic and 1 hour on busy park weekends, so not quite as convenient as staying in the park or in Springdale. In trade you get a great value and a home base you can come back to and cook and grill and relax on the porch in a very nice place. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Dan2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very cosy cabin in the woods, great location with access to Zion national park. The cabin is decorated well and has everything you need. It’s in a bit of a secluded location (which we liked) and driving there will take you off the asphault paved road and on to dirt and rock roads, if your not a good night driver maybe leave during daylight to return to the cabin the first night so you can easily find it. The owners were very accommodating with all of our requests and needs. Whenever we needed them they were available. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for making our visit to Zion national park even better! David and Annie

  • It's was a very good time staying in this house, everything is clean and organized. AC and hot water is available all the time. Very quiet at night, with clean sky at night, the stars look just amazing. And the host sent me the details of the detection to the house and places to travel nearby, also constantly asking if everything is fine. I had a wonderful experience here!

  • Great location for star gazing or direct access to Zion. Lodge is convenient but menu is basic (few veggie or vegan options), and restaurant often seems unable to deal with any type of crowd. Far from anything else, FAR, so make sure you are totally covered for meals, etc... Cold water in fridge is very welcome, and linens are soft and comfy. Keith is super communicative and easy to get info from.

Keith is a awesome, friendly host, we were pretty late to reach to his place, but he was very tolerant and patience. He drove us to place and showed us around. You will all daily necessities in Keith's RV. This was our first time in RV and would love again staying in it. Thanks Keith!

  • It was our first experience of staying in a camper. I really like the idea of "glamping" i.e. something similar to your regular camping and being close to nature, yet having the basic comfort of a simple house. Maybe it was ok for newbies to not find where the lights go on.. luckily the Resort is nearby, and after a forced dinner out, we were able to finally locate the appropriate switches (look next to ceiling lamps themselves, the main ones next to the entrance didn't do the job). I suggest you bring your utensils.. we could not find the spoons. And don't be afraid to open cabinets to look for things you may need in your temporary household, as they are not just openly lying around! Overall, we got the most important out of our stay - we were able to hike pretty much straight out of home (maybe a mile drive on dirt roads) on uncrowded East Rim trail (choose this over East Mesa from Weeping Rock!)that takes you to Echo Cyn and Observation Point. I would totally do it again! Unplanned dinner at Ponderosa was simple and inexpensive. Driving instructions from the Resort were comprehensive, we had no trouble locating the camper, only a few min away.

The Watchman Suite is a one bedroom apartment with all of the comforts of home. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The bathroom has a walk in tile shower. The great room features a full kitchen, dining room table, living room with a queen size leather sofa sleeper. The Suite features artwork from LaFave Gallery. There is a large private patio that overlooks the cliffs of Zion Canyon. There is full size washer/dryer.
  • The suites at LaFave are incredible in every way! The location is absolutely unbeatable, with a fabulous, private view from the patio, easy parking and shuttle into Zion, and comfortable accommodation with luxury finishes. Everything in the suites are finished with the highest quality, and the artwork is straight from the gallery! Check in was easy, the owner was fabulous in suggestions for hikes, restaurants, etc., as was her daughter. Our son LOVED running in the large open field next door, which featured a farmer's market with live music on Saturday afternoon. The bedroom was large enough to easily accommodate his Pack N Play and the living area was spacious. We spent a lot of time on the patio, which feels very private from the busy main road. I would highly recommend this suite (and the partner Zion Suite) to young families, couples....anyone, really!! It was FABULOUS!

  • We stayed one night in this place. The place is clean, warm and beautiful and cozy. The location is very close to restaurant and food store. You can see the beauty of mountains, valley from this house. The patio is a surprise to us. We will stay in this place next time we visit Zion National park.

  • The suite was very clean, beautifully done, had an amazing shower, is in a superb location right next to a Zion shuttle stop. We loved staying here. Would highly recommend!

  • This is a beautiful new suite with custom artwork and great attention to details. Very comfortable with a great private patio and a short walk to restaurants and other amenities. I would recommend the upper Zion unit. We could hear other guests walking overhead from our downstairs unit.

    Kim2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • We were lucky to be the first guests of this brand new fabulous suite! It is beautiful, and you have everything you need, from Keurig coffee pods to barbecue forks. The suite is set back enough from the street so it is quiet and private, but convenient as it's right next to the shuttle stop. Kathy is such a gracious host. She even made the sofa bed for us as we were arriving late. It is an ideal choice for a couple or a family with young kids. We will definitely come back!

  • This was the perfect house for our Zion trip!! Right across the street from a grocery store, lots of walkable food and a 2 minute drive to the Park entrance. The home was clean, modern and spacious. I'm sure we'll be back!

    John2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The town home is in a perfect location. It takes just minutes to walk to a grocery store, some of the best restaurants in town, and a stop on the bus line to the park. It's a great place to stay if you're visiting Zion.

  • This was the perfect place to stay for us! The location was great for our adventures into Zion Park. We could walk, drive, or there is a shuttle stop near! The Town home was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was great. Washer and dryer nice to have. The two Bedrooms were roomy with attached bathrooms. The bed was so comfy after a long day of hiking! We could not have imagined anything being better. Matt was perfect to work with. I highly recommend the townhome when visiting this area!

    Lisa2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • The townhouse is very new and in the perfect location! It's less than a block away from a grocery store and restaurants. Such convenience! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone else. The beds were very comfortable and the place was lovely. My only advice is to park and go inside the front before you unload. Unlock the back slider door and then move the car to the back parking lot so you can bring your luggage in easily. There is no walkway to roll your luggage from the street/side lot parking to the front door. A minor inconvenience, but nothing to stop me from giving this place 5 stars.

    Heidi2016-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • This unit provides a great location just outside Zion National Park. We walked to nearby restaurants and relaxed on the deck after long days in the park. Very comfortable and clean unit.

  • Wonderful experience all around. Great location close to grocery store, shops and restaurants and Zion National Park. Brand new unit was clean and everything in great condition. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we all slept great. Host was helpful and very responsive. We had a wonderful time and would recommend anyone visiting Springdale to stay there.

Views of horses grazing, wild turkeys in the morning, and ducks in the yard. Private entrance and parking. 2.5 miles to Zion with first shuttle stop steps away. Come enjoy a quiet escape with nature at its best!
  • This was an ideal place for exploring zion national park. The springfield shuttle stops just past the end of the drive so was really handy to use. The place is peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains. Richard and his family were so kind and welcoming and keen to help in anyway they could. Staying here feels like you are staying with friends. My children loved seeing the horses and dogs that live here and watching the huge tv after a hard day hiking!

    Deborah2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Richard's place has an incredible view! There is lots of space and the beds were comfy. We got in late and Richard welcomed us and gave us a quick tour. He was quick to respond when we needed the air a little cooler and he also brought around a water hose for us to clean off our shoes from hiking in the narrows. There are dogs on site, but we never heard them. The backyard is amazing and there are even horses. The house is located right in Springdale and getting into the park was super easy even if you needed to shuttle from town. I would definitely stay here again!

    Sassy2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Richard's home and family were perfect. I was traveling with my parents and sister, and they made our stay a joy. Their home is so comfortable, and they really went out of their way for us--giving us recommendations as to hikes and food. The house was so close to Zion, and way better than anything you'll get from any of the hotels there! I couldn't recommend Richard's place more and will definitely stay again in the future.

    Connie2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful property in a great location! The free city shuttle has a stop a short walk from their door and the host and family are super friendly and helpful. We all loved our stay here!

  • Our family of 7 loved staying at the Madsen's home! It was in a great location and the whole family was so nice and full of info! Great swimming hole on the Virgin River at the back of their beautiful property, which was super after hiking in Zion. We would stay here, again!

    Peter2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • From the start Richard was a great host, he made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. An amazing view and great location with easy access to the shuttle. Rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. Would highly recommend a stay at Richard's place!

    Louise2017-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • Richard has a great place. The rooms are very cozy, clean, spacious and have a rustic charm. The most memorable thing about the stay was regarding the amazing views from the rooms. Waking up and seeing the sun peeking out of the mountains feels so good!

    Rohan2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful home and fantastic location to reach Zion Canyon. Richard and his family are amazing hosts, providing a beautiful and clean home with plenty of room for a family to spread out and relax! The best thing was the local knowledge that Richard was able to provide on trail information, particularly the beautiful Kolob Canyon area!

The Red Fox Room is our peaceful upstairs den room with a California King bed, full private shower and tub bath, and northern views. Great for sleeping late.
  • Lisa and Lizette were very welcoming and the house was very cozy. It was a great time, and we would love to book another stay when we are in the area.

    Duc2016-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I loved this place. It's pretty close to Zion and Springdale and it was very beautiful. The air mattress provided was also very comfortable and easy to set up. I would very much recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Zion.

  • Two Cranes is a little home away from Home with cozy, comfortable rooms. Great base camp for exploring Zion. We were delighted to find out that Lisa is a guide for a local adventure Outfitter. She is a font of Zion info!

    Barrie 2017-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and well-maintained home. A little farther from the entrance to Zion but that buys you privacy and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the other house guests were and I appreciated how thoroughly Lisa and Lizette communicated in advance. The only downside was that my beer disappeared from the shelf in the fridge alotted to my room.

    Susan2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa and Lizette were amazing hosts for our weekend in Zion. The inn is very close to Zion National Park and was very spacious, relaxing, and warm. Lisa and Lizette were very informative and helped planned our activities by providing literature, personal experiences, and input on how to maximize our experience.

    James2017-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • I appreciated the many common areas we could use: the kitchen/dining area, living room, and several seating areas outside. We only stayed 2 nights but I could see spending more time here because it didn't feel like a hotel room, it felt like a shared house. The furniture, décor and artwork were lovely. Very clean.

    Bonnie2016-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great option for a visit to Zion.

    Morgan2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • The location was awesome. Minutes away from the last shuttle stop. The rooms were beautiful, the house and kitchen left no wishes open, anything one can think of needing during a vacation was there. Stunning garden with roses and hammocks in the backyard that invite to a day reading and lounging. Altogether a great retreat.

  • All thumbs up! Beautiful and well located property just outside the bustle of Zion's business district. Well appointed and very comfortable room and public spaces. Maureen was an extraordinarly gracious host. Even easy parking. What's not to like?!? We would love to stay there again and unreservedly recommend it.

  • Although there was some confusion and issues with my stay, Syndi the property manager, handled everything with exceptional professionalism. Everything aside, I can say that the hosts are very thoughtful and attentive people. During normal circumstance I would predict nothing less than a great stay with them. The House was very nice and rooms were aqeuately spaces apart from one another giving each guest privacy in a shared space. The location was a short, easy drive straight into Zion national park.

Our B&B located in a quiet town, very safe neighborhood, away from the busy crowds and noise.
  • Nida was very friendly and interesting. She accommodated our early schedule with no problem. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The location is perfect for anyone desiring a less crowded visit to Zion National Park than Springdale can offer.

  • Amber Inn was very nice and accommodating. The room was generous and nicely done. It's is in a small quiet community along the main road to Zion NP's South entrance, so very convenient for visiting the park. Very pretty place, with spring flowers, and a cow grazing next door. I skipped breakfast a couple days to get an early start to my hikes, and hosts made sure I had coffee and food for the road. They care about your experience staying with them, and your day of exploring the area.

    Jan2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I had a very nice stay with Nida and Andre at their lovely B&B. They were friendly, welcoming, and responsive! We enjoyed a comfortable room with a private bathroom and great convenience getting into Zion in the mornings. We plan to return during our next adventure to Zion! Thanks guys!

    Florian2015-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very informative host with lot's of great suggestions for the nearby area. You will have a good laugh with Nida. Location is very close to Springdale and Zion NP.

    Gladys2015-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Where to begin, this is an actual Bed & Breakfast. The first one I've stayed in, as opposed to a noncommercial Airbnb room/flat. The location is great if you are doing hikes in Zion. The host did offer good advice on hikes and places to eat around the town. Parking was good, however the entrance to the driveway is not illuminated at all. Driving in at night is not the best experience. I would be remiss not to mention the overall feeling was akin to staying at a relative's home where you were not really welcomed. Perhaps this was a personality conflict or the fact my girlfriend was yelled at for walking around in our room. Apparently the floors are not well soundproofed and with the host's room below us, the host opted to expressed her displeasure somewhat rudely. (In my opinion). Your mileage may vary... If you do choose to stay here I would recommend not taking the room above the host's quarters.

    Humberto2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Nida's B&B is conveniently located, clean and comfortable. While my experience was not ideal, I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a slower paced and relaxing visit to Zion. First, I am personally at fault for not reading Nida's house rules and guest reviews completely before booking; if I had, I would not have booked. This AirBnB is not suited for active visitors or those trying to maximize their days/nights in Zion and Springdale. We were not allowed to check in late to the B&B, despite our 8+ hour travel time to get to Zion (we were forced to book a hotel the first night). When we returned to town the second night after a long day in the park, the check in time forced us to decide between dinner (before everything closed) and checking in on time (chose dinner and another night in a local hotel). When we finally checked in the third night, we were asked where we are nearly 2 hours before the required check in time. We found ourselves tip toeing around the room that night and whispering; not an enjoyable way to relax after a long day in the park. There were rules about limiting showers to 5 minutes, a tough ask when we spent the last 12 hours hiking 16 miles. We were discouraged from getting up early in order to view the sunrise in the park. Ultimately, we decided not to stay the last night; we didn't feel that we were the right fit and didn't want to feel guilty about making noise and disrupting others. Being that most of Nida's reviews are very positive, we believed we just were not the right kind of visitor for this b&b. We never really felt welcomed and got the feeling that our schedule was a burden to the hosts.

    Ivor2016-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I had a wonderful stay at the Amber Inn. Nida was most helpful and gave us advice on must-see places, trails and restaurants. The location is superb with a quick commute to the south entrance of the park. My suggestion is to visit Zion and stay with Nida!

    Joelle2015-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nida's bed and breakfast is a delight. It's a ten minute drive from Zion, well maintained, clean, and with amazing breakfasts (fried oatmeal with homemade peach jam!).

  • I feel like I scored the best camp spot in the area for the busy Labor Day weekend. Communication and check-in were great! Upon arrival, Jim and Nick helped me set up my site with the firepit and bug-proofed my tent. Jim and his family also gave me a sweet card, a map, some hiking poles (which were a lifesaver in the Narrows) and some snacks for my hikes. I was traveling alone with my 8 year old and we felt very comfortable, safe and welcomed! The location is close to the resort which has a nice pool and friendly staff. I also love how close it is to the national park but far enough for privacy from the holiday crowds. Thank you again! I look forward to coming back.

    Josie2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nick, Jim and their family are awesome and super accommodating. The campsite was exactly as described and was so close to zion. Loved this and would absolutely visit again.

  • Wow! What a location! Scenic, quiet, spacious. We couldn't hear anything but the sounds of the forest during our entire stay. The campground is well kept, with several amenities including a picnic bench, chairs, and a fire pit. We couldn't be more pleased with this location, and will be back again next year! It deserves 10/5 stars!

    Nate2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • An unforgettable stay marked by endless adventure. The sunrises were immaculate, the stars lit up the night sky, and the wildlife stirred in abundance. Jim was more than accommodating and didn't hesitate to lend a helping hand if needed. The perfect place for escape in order to unwind and reconnect with nature.

  • Had a great time. Peaceful stay!

    Kristopher2017-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to camp and close enough to other amenities to stock up on coffee and supplies. Driving to Zion takes about 50 minutes which is not a big deal when you have such a scenic drive.

    Katherine2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking to stay away from the crowds and amongst beautiful hills with peace and quiet, this is your place. Jim was so helpful and nice and the camp spot had some really great amenities. We are so happy to have found such a great spot for future Zion trips!

Welcome to Johnson Ranch, next to famous Zion Ponderosa Ranch, and within walking/hiking distance to Zion National Park with the most photographed wonders in the world. You will have your own Recreational Vehicle with all the comforts of home, yet living amidst pines where you might see deer, squirrels, and wild turkeys.
You will find your stay in this peaceful part of nature a delightful change from the city. We are in the trees and away from everything, where the stars and constellations fill the glorious sky at night, and the smell of fresh pine trees is in the air. You might see deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and wild turkeys. We are next to the border of Zion National Park, Zion National Park with the most photographed wonders in the world. But there are many great places to see here without going through the park official entrance, such as famous Overlook Point.
  • Keith is a great host! Good location too.

  • Keith is a great host and takes care of his guests very well.

    Tim2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Pretty much exactly what I expected. No bells and whistles, just an affordable trailer located near Zion. Keith was very nice and helpful. There is a fire pit and chairs on the site which was lovely. The one thing is that there is no cell service (which we were aware of prior to our stay) but there is also no wifi access unless you take a 5 minute drive to the near by resort. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a cozy place to hang out, but if you're just looking for a bed and planning to spend most of your time out in Zion, this will do the trick.

    Kaitlyn2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay near Zion National Park. It's about an hour and a half from Bryce Canyon too. The RV was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was there's no cell service or wifi. Getting ahold of Keith can be a bit difficult for that reason.

    Nicole2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Keith's place is perfect for visiting Zion. It is close to nature and you can have a completely relaxing vacation away from city life. Keith himself is an excellent host and was always there even for small needs. His brother in law took my son on an ATV ride which was really great experience for him. They will treat you like family. I will love to return.

    Sweta2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a quiet location 30 minutes drive from Zion National Park. It's a wonderful place to recover from any big hikes, stargaze, and spend time with your friends or family. The RV is cozy and has most of what you will need and if not, Keith will try to help you out. There is also a nearby trailhead to Observation Point that offers a 3 hour relaxing hike versus the grueling 6 hour one from the park. Keith is a wonderful host and the RV is a nice place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd trip to Zion!

    Puja2017-07-30T00:00:00Z

  • Keith was amazing! My friends and I showed up late and not only did he try to help us with directions, he also waived the late fee and still gave us a tour at 12am. The place was perfect and having the showers nearby was the best. Thanks Keith!

Wonderful treetop apartment! Has a great kitchen for cooking, and is right in the heart of Springdale. Beautiful sprawling gardens, BBQ and amazing views!!
  • This place was great!!! Exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the location is super close to everything. Spectacular views right outside the door. At night the windows in the master bedroom allow you to see the rock formation peaks and the stars. It's right off the main street. There are shops and restaurants nearby at a walking distance. The shuttle stop to Zion park is also a short walk. With that said, it's also near the park entrance. Maybe about a 10 min walk, but may also take the short drive in. The apartment was perfect. Well organized and clean. Everything was as it was in the pictures. Nice large living room, nice kitchen with plenty of dishware/glassware. We didn't use the stove so I don't have anything to add with that. There was plenty provided. Bathroom was clean and stocked with towels. We only had use for the master bedroom. Large comfortable bed, with comfy bedding and fluffy pillows. The temperature did drop very low the nights we stayed, but there is a small heater that was used. The smaller room also looked well furnished. We really enjoyed Ticia's apartment, we liked everything about the place. We will definitely look for her apartment in the future when we decide to visit Zion again. I have already recommended her to a friend that is expecting to go to Zion. THANK YOU Ticia!!!!!!

  • I'm not sure i can add anything that hasn't already been said. Location is beautiful, practically inside the park. Couldn't have asked for a better spot or host.

  • A very nice and comfortable apartment in Springdale. We loved staying here so much we booked a second night. Our first night, the only liquor store in town was closed to Ticia left the bar she was watching a football game at to deliver us a bottle of wine. Great time, thank you Ticia!

  • Great place to stay just off the main street in Springdale. Yard is a nice outdoor space that is shared by another Air BnB rental on the property. Great communication and service.

  • This little cottage is very comfortable, we felt just like living in a beautiful garden. We enjoyed the hospitality of Ticia's parents. Definitely we will visite here again.

  • Absolutely gorgeous place! Far better than any hotel I've ever stayed in near Zion the other three times I've been out there. Will be back!

  • This apartment is located in a superb location for exploring Zion - it is a couple minute walk to Springdale's shuttle service. It was easy to spend all day exploring the park. In addition, it is very close to restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and the grocery store. The apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well equipped if you plan on eating breakfast at home and packing lunches for day trips. There is a fabulous outside area with a barbecue, tables, hammock, and more. The scenery is beautiful from the apartment and outside area.

  • This place was perfect for our trip to Zion! The pictures perfectly describe the area and was exactly what we were looking for. The yard outside was lovely, it had a nice spot to grill out and relax in the evening. It was a very short walk to the grocery store which was nice for our short trip, and also only a few short bus stops from the park entrance. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.
