History Museum
“The Studebaker National Museum is a state-of-the-art, 55,000-square-foot facility that opened in October 2005. The building has three levels and features fully climate-controlled galleries and storage facilities to ensure the best possible care for the Collection. “Fiddler’s Hearth prides itself on emphasizing the true spirit of a public House, a family friendly gathering place for Celtic artists and the public at large. Zoo
“Hey, South Bend has a Zoo. Go figure! It's pretty nice too. They also host events that are a blast (and usually sell out almost immediately). Our favorite is Zoo Brew. They fill the zoo with micro brewers and you walk around sampling craft beer all night. Another favorite is Zoo Boo at Halloween. Parents bring their kids in costumes and trick or treat in the zoo. ”

“A prized home brewer turned pro, Crooked ewe has great views of the Saint Joesph River. Their high end food menu will not disappoint the foodie in your group. Located in an old FOP completely renovated. Only drawback is the kids/family area is much separated (on the second floor) from the great bar/taproom area.”

“Exchange Whiskey Bar is a hidden craft cocktail and whiskey bar with over 300 of the best whiskeys you can find anywhere in the country. Inspired by an atmosphere with a rich history dating back to when this building was one of the last banks John Dillinger himself robbed, this swanky spot is loaded with vintage furniture, wrought iron details, and Victorian style decor. Enjoy a prohibition era-style night out with vintage speakeasy cocktails based on authentic recipes, and the most incredible selection of whiskeys in the area.”

Performing Arts Venue
“Classical looking theatre in the heart of Downtown South Bend. Some of the performances Ive seen there growing up were David Copperfield (he can fly), The Righteous Brothers (when I was 10, thanks mom and dad! Legends!), Flashdance, and Book of Mormon, to name a few. Neat, regal theatre. ”

“The history of Rocco's is a love affair. Love of family. Love of good friends. And, of course, love of great food. Rocco's started over 60 years ago and today the Verteramo family continues a tradition of pride in serving the family's delicious Italian recipes brought over from Reggio Calabria decades ago.”
