Lovely apartment. It was nicely furnished and clean, with great views across the bay. The pools were large and refreshing, nice area surrounding them and a great view from the Infinity pool. Use Uber taxis by getting the app. The apartment isn't near to anything walkable. The wifi doesn't work and that is a problem when you use your phone for taxis and TripAdvisor for restaurants. We got a SIM card in Singapore and JB when we arrived but had great difficulty the first day as it only lasted 2 hours and it was after 11pm by then, we needed much more data on the card. We went to bed hungry after a long day of traveling. I booked this holiday for Singapore, I didn't realise I had booked in Malaysia as I had put Singapore in my search. We had to cross a border each time we wanted to go to Singapore. Allow 2 hours at least from door to door. We decided to book 2 nights for 4 of us in Singapore and left some of our stuff back at the apartment as the journey each day would have been too painful and expensive. 60 Singapore dollars to the bus station, then pick up another taxi. 38 Singapore dollars from Changi airport to the bus station. A great restaurant to try at JB is Olive at the Bay. Check out trip advisor. Delicious and great music with a pool table for amusement. Enjoy your stay

Ita's place is excellent- really comfortable and clean. very easy to get to and accessible. my favorite part was her two adorable dogs that I wish could have stayed in the room with me. Perfect for a business trip

Ita's place is hidden in the residential area, neighbourhood mostly are local. 10 minutes walk to nearest MRT station, and there's a big shopping mall nearby, no need to be afraid hungry in the night. Her housekeeper is really helpful and kind. She helps me tidy the bed Everyday. Looking forward for next time :)

Claudette and her son are friendly and easy to communicate. Thanks for her detailed travelling instruction from the airport to her lovely apartment which is very helpful. The apartment is nice and clean, decorated with many art articles collected from different countries. It is in a good location, convenient to everything, minutes walking distance to Newton MRT, bus stop and food court ( opearating from early morning to mid-night, reasonable price and good taste). Orchard Road shopping area is also in a walking distance. Milo is a 7-months old Teddy dog, full with energy. He is a lillte bit scaring on the first day, but shows his friendship after you pat or scartch him.

In a residential area, green environment are great. White dwarf house, the Nanyang flavor - very community should be a little age, old is not quite obvious, it should be said from the visual to the olfactory people are very homely, like returning to his grandmother. If you want to experience the local life, this is very recommended to stay! The whole house is very design sense, clean and tidy, people comfortable. We stay in the room is very clean, you can see the owner had arranged very carefully, all kinds of daily necessities are readily available. Claudette people are very nice, a caring landlord, English is very important standard, there is no local accent ah ha ha, very smooth exchange up! House location is quite convenient, about four or five meters away newton Metro Station, and red and blue lines, go to Orchard Road, Little India, Chinatown is direct. Not far away from residential areas newton food centre, is also very famous in the local food centre, very large, want to experience the lives of local people have to eat it, mainly seafood barbecue, taste good, the atmosphere out! Former recommended carte price ask, in the end is to sell on the number or weight on sale;)

I work in education so I loved hanging and talking with her son- he is so happy and full of energy! I totally wish I could have stayed longer. The location is so close to the MRT. And the MRT is the best in the world ! It was so clean and quiet! I took the MRT every where except after midnight when we took a taxi back after hanging by the river. Nice room and the helper was kind. Though we got disappointed when our host asked for additional fee for an early check in on the day of our arrival. He could have informed us ahead when we were just inquiring or before confirming our bookings. As he indicated on his page check in time is flexible and there was no mentioned about additional fee for early check in. Also, we had a hard time finding his place as there was no house # indicated on airbnb travel itinerary and our host didn't bother to msg us the info.

Ben's place was very nice. A very bright room with huge windows and friendly host. The sister in law who helped us was very helpful. Very quiet, residential, close to bus and reservoir, many restaurants and cafes of wide range of budget, etc. Highly recommend it! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Ben's place. We were received by his family with a warm welcome. They provided us with clean shower towels and served us some water upon arrival as we were exhausted from our day. We immediately felt at home. Another great surprise is that the bedroom was much brighter than shown on the pictures. We woke up to the beautiful sunshine the next morning, feeling refreshed and energized. The bedroom is large and has plenty storage space for those traveling with heavy luggage. Also, we enjoyed the clothes rack with many hangers so we could just empty our luggage and make ourselves at home. Some of our clothes were wet from the rain, so the floor fan came in handy for drying. Regarding the bathroom, the door is actually a folding door with vents on it, so privacy was not the best. Overall cleanliness was very good. Just keep in mind that the bathroom is not private and that other people might be using it. Communication with the host was excellent. He speaks with a near perfect English and he always replied our texts within the hour. Would definitely recommend this option.

Fellow travellers, This place is an absolute bang for your Buck. Clean bathroom, spacious room, and decent location. MRT is rather close. Bus station is closer at 5 mins walk. Plenty of hawker centers nearby that are open 24x7. Ben himself is a great host and would help you out should you have any queries. Overall, a great place to stay. PS: The air con is not powerful and would take longer than expected to cool the room down. :)

I stayed two night in joanna's flat. It was really nice, good localisation and good place to stay if you want to visit singapour.

Joanna is a great host, communication is easy. She responds immediately to messages and goes out of her way to help in anyway she can. We used her place as an overnight stop before our flight home as it is teallynear the airport. We have kids and took them to wild wild wet the day before the flight, a big water park a 5 minute walk from the house and lots of fun. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed, a clean, inexpensive to rest our heads. Thank you jo! X

I have not had a host who goes the extra mile to make us feel welcome in the same way as Joanna did. The place was homely, lovely and clean; and was represented accurately in the photographs. Joanna's place is comfortable and bus stop right in front of the apartment. Free snacks and drinks inside the room, even hotels never give it free (biscuits, noodle). Actually the apt looks better than in photos. Cleanliness and one of toilet need a bit of improvement. Services was very good. Joanna was very accomodating, fast response and gave a lot of helpful informations for you.

Went back to Joanna's place for our 2nd night stay in Singapore. Joanna is a very warm and welcoming host! We highly recommend whoever who's considering a visit to Singapore to stay at her place. Joanna's place is situated very close to the Pasir Ris bus terminal and MRT station which makes travelling rather convenient. Furthermore, it's close by the airport too. Calling for uber/taxi wouldn't bear a brunt on your wallet! In a nutshell her place is awesome!

Nice place & convenient! Small but rlly cozy. Though there are dust & hairs on the floor but other than that is fine. It's alittle dangerous for girls to be out of the condo after 6pm. Social escorts & uncles will be loitering around there , so get a guy with you ladies! Nice & friendly host. Had a gr8 stay with Iskandar!

We love Iskandar's place. New, comfy.. and my kids loved it. We highly recommend his place. As a host, he is very efficient. Communication was not a problem at all.

It was a very nice and clean place which was easy to get to from the MRT. The air-con was perfect and helped me sleep at night. I loved the fact there was a beautiful pool upstairs which was lovely for a nice dip cool down after a hot day. The only thing was there was not enough essentials in the flat since three of us were staying. For example bowls, cups and blankets. The area around is a bit worrisome at night, especially for women, but apart from that it was a great stay. Many thanks.

I'm really impressed with the service provided by iskandar, he is extremely patient and very friendly . The apartment is perfect for a single or a couple stay. Not very far from the city. Idle location if you in a Budget yet require some privacy. Definitely will recommend to others.

The apartment is located close to the MRT however is in the Red Light District and you'll see prostitutes at night which didn't make me feel comfortable. It's also not very accommodating for the third person (ie. linens and towels) so for couples it may be better. The host was very nice and let us drop off our bags early. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It's a big and nice room. HC had changed drap. It's more beautiful than in the picture. It take 0.77 SGD to get a bus to nearest MRT station Bedok (EW5).

The Master bedroom is spacious with a toilet attached to it, making it so convenient. There is enough drawers to put your stuff away while staying there. The bus stand is so near and the frequency of the buses to the Bedok interchange was so frequent, you don't have to worry if you miss the first bus. It is so convenient and fun riding in a bus for us as it was the first time.

HC was a fantastic host. The location is very close to food, public transport, busses are easy. HC is very relaxed, great value for the room. AC is a must for those hot SG days! A great option for anyone traveling to SG.
