Vacation Rentals in Seward

Just booked in Seward

Experience Alaska by enjoying a stay in our rustic cabin with an amazing view of mountains and glaciers from the front porch. Located 7 miles up the road from Seward, a bit off the beaten path. It is walking distance from a fish weir, great place to see spawning salmon. There is room for 4 people to comfortably sleep, as long as two people don't mind climbing a ladder to get to the upstairs. Enjoy soft beds, hot shower, and a cup of coffee to get you going in the morning.
Cabin is designed with loft where the two single mattresses are located. You must be able to climb a ladder to get into loft. Double bed is located in the main area of your cabin with easy access.
Things I love about our neighborhood is: *We are about 5 miles out of Seward, which gives you better chances of seeing wildlife, such as moose and bear. Both of which have been seen in our yard. *We are within a quarter mile of the fish weir and are able to see spawning salmon as well as an occasional brown bear. *We live on a gravel road with nearby neighbors who are there if you need something.
  • The listing was exactly accurate to what we were provided with. We loved our stay at the Cozy Cabin. Unfortunately we never got to meet Kris or his wife because we arrived late and left early, but we did meet a daughter who was very nice! The beds were so comfortable and the whole place was very clean and welcoming! They provided teas and coffee and snacks for breakfast too! We could not be more thrilled and hope life provides us the opportunity to stay again for longer!

  • I'm hesitant to post a review for this genuine Alaskan cabin because I am nervous it will blow up in popularity, and there will never be an opening for me or anyone I recommend stay here to get a reservation!

  • The cabin was a treat to stay in. Very well thought out use of space so that even though the cabin is small, it felt big, and was enjoyable for our stay. Kris was very friendly and hospitable, and we recommend staying here. Claudia, Geoff, and Zoe

  • This house was just lovely! We lost cell reception for part of our drive to Seward from Anchorage but Kris gave excellent directions and it was easy to find. The house is cozy but it's a great spot to relax and sleep--and the beds are comfy, too! We arrived to find homemade cookies on the counter. There is a useful binder of attractions and activities in the area. Thanks for being so hospitable and sharing your house with us! Would definitely love to return if I am ever near Seward again.

  • For those who have seen HGTV "Tiny House" segments, this is one of those tiny houses - clean, functional, and small but full of characters. It is not located in downtown area but close enough to get to it within 10-min drive. It has a nice view of the top of glacier from the porch and it was amazing during a clear day. Hosts communicate promptly and everything went as expected. Highly recommend this place when you come to Seward.

  • Not far from the coastal town of Seward, this cosy cabin is perfect as a base for the many cruises and tours you can do in the area. Friendly and helpful hosts!

  • This cabin was a perfect base camp for exploring the Seward area! Kris was an excellent host, and I wholeheartedly would recommend staying here. We almost camped, but I’m sooo glad we didn’t. Even though it rained the entire time, because we knew we had a hot shower and tea available to us, we fully enjoyed long day hikes in the rain. Only great memories...and I can’t wait to come back. Thanks Kris!

Sporting a fun Alaskan bush pilot theme, the Taildragger Inn sits nestled at the base of the Mt. Marathon. This one bedroom apartment is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Seward and the boat harbor. Hiking trails are just around the corner, including the renowned "runner's trail" up Mt. Marathon - Although connected to the main house, the apartment uses a separate entrance and does not share space with the owners, affording you privacy.
The Taildragger is cozy and in a great location. You can feel at peace and enjoy peekaboo views of the beautiful surrounding mountains. My husband and I truly love the covered porch - it is a perfect place to sit outside in the evening when you just want to unwind but are not quite ready to call it a day!
  • This apartment is absolutely adorable!! Jill and Ronn were wonderful hosts; they left a couple of beers and waters in the fridge for us, the place was stocked with coffee and all the necessities, and there were games and cards and even a fire pit there to use. It is right up near Mt Marathon so nice and quiet but a very quick walk to town. Jill was so proactive in her communication - I had crystal clear info on how to find the place and how to get in when I arrived. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place as it could not have been more perfect. 5 stars!!

    Michelle2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jill's place was great! Very clean, well stocked, and great location.

  • This is a fabulous place to stay in Seward! The location is perfect, very close to downtown and within walking distance to waterfront. The accommodations are amazing - very clean and comfortable. It has everything you might need if you want to stay in and cook a meal instead of going out, we were even able to use the fire pit which was a big hit for everybody! The bed is comfortable, and there is plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy your time there. The front porch area is really nice, too - able to sit in the screened in area and enjoy the fresh air even if it is raining. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Seward.

  • We couldn't have asked for a better experience than staying with Jill while we were in Seward! The location is amazing, in the heart of the Seward community, a view of the bay when you look down the street a few blocks, walking distance to every treat the town has to offer (including the very special Resurrect Art Coffee House which we walked to every morning to kick off our day). The pictures don't do this place justice! The Taildragger is exceptionally cozy and clean. Everything is newly remodeled and lovely. We felt at home right away. There is a covered porch entrance to the apartment and a fire pit out front which we didn't get the chance to take advantage of but we definitely will on our next visit! Jill's hospitality was impeccable. She supplied a coffee press when I asked her about coffee options in the apartment, even though there was already a Keurig in place waiting for us. We're the outdoorsy sort and she had all sorts of fantastic recommendations for us to get outside. A previous guest had left some bear spray behind and Jill has posted a note for future guests to please make use of it when out hiking. Very thoughtful- we brought the spray along on our hikes (don't leave home without it folks!). Luckily there was no occasion to use it, so the bear spray is still there for the next adventuresome team that is lucky enough to stay at the Taildragger! Thanks Jill and Ronn!

  • Jill's place perfectly suited all of our needs. It was spotless, had a comfy bed, and great water pressure in the shower. The kitchen met all our needs for a quick breakfast and sandwich lunch. It was the perfect cozy, warm place to come back to after our rain-filled adventures in Seward.

    Sana2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jill has a great space! Very well stocked with all the kitchen and bathroom essentials. Very clean, really cute, and great location! Close to the Mt Marathon trail and downtown. She was very accommodating by providing us a portable crib for our 3 month old to sleep in.

    Tricia2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here! This is probably the best Airbnb we've stayed in so far! It's well located, well appointed, neat, clean, organized, comfortable and very relaxing!! Jill was super nice and very responsive. Pros: -super comfy couch -nice, firm bed -clean, clean, clean! -everything seemed new and recently renovated -board games! -lots of Windows and natural light -location: right outside the front door are the mountains to the right and the water to the left. You can easily walk to town where there are shops, restaurants and the public aquarium. -brochures on things to do -cute, aeronautical themed decor (the owner is a pilot) -smells good -kitchen has everything you need including zip loc bags, foil, paper plates and utensils Cons: -There wasn't much to complain about. I will mention that you can hear the upstairs tenants pretty well but it's not too bad and didn't bother us. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Seward!

Stay in a remote, oceanfront yurt in Resurrection Bay, ten miles by water from Seward, Alaska! Price includes round trip transportation to and from Shearwater Cove on Shearwater's exclusive vessel, the M/V Steller Jay. Price also includes unlimited use of Shearwater's sea kayaks and access to hiking trails. Shearwater Cove has two yurts available for nightly rental, see our other Airbnb listing "Adventure Package: Yurt, Boat Tour & Kayaking #1."
Shearwater Cove is a small, secluded cove 10 miles by water from Seward, Alaska in Resurrection Bay. The adventure begins by meeting Shearwater's hosts Jason and Charity in the Seward Small Boat Harbor where guests embark on Shearwater's exclusive water taxi, the M/V Steller Jay. En route to Shearwater Cove, guests enjoy the spectacular scenery and marine wildlife of the Kenai Fjords from the deck and cabin of the vessel. Upon arrival at Shearwater Cove guests are given an orientation about the property. Guests have access to hiking trails on the surrounding property, and can explore the coastline and Shearwater's neighboring coves and islands in sea kayaks at their leisure. Guided kayaking sessions are available for an additional charge. If anyone in your group is nervous about kayaking or wants to learn more about Shearwater's plants, animals, and geology, send us a message requesting a guided kayaking session. The yurt has a kitchenette outfitted with a propane stove top, sink with hot running water, pots, pans and cutlery, olive oil and basic cooking spices, and an ice chest for keeping refrigerated goods cool. Guests bring their own food and ice. On the yurt's deck is the bathroom/shower house with a composting toilet and hot shower for washing off after a day of kayaking. The yurt can sleep up to four with a queen bed and full size sofa bed. Shearwater Cove is entirely off the grid and we are proud of the heating, hot running water, and composting toilet systems on which it is able to provide all the creature comforts of home. The only basic amenity not available to guests is electricity. Lighting is not an issue in the full swing of summer thanks to Alaska's midnight sun, and when it starts to be dark again towards the end of August and September battery powered lanterns are provided. However, please note that you will be unable to charge phones, cameras, and electronics. We recommend bringing a small battery pack for charging devices, or totally immerse and go without! There are a few flights of stairs from the dock at Shearwater Cove to your yurt so please keep this in mind as you pack. We highly recommend light luggage/backpacks. We understand that people often spend a few weeks in Alaska and therefore bring a bit of luggage, so we encourage guests to sort through their belongings and bring only what they will need while at the yurts. Seward's parking lots are highly monitored by city staff and belongings will be safe in your car. If you do not have a car we are happy to store luggage for you with advance notice.
Shearwater Cove is a remote location ten miles by water from Seward, Alaska. This provides guests the opportunity to enjoy peaceful, secluded nights in the Kenai Fjords away from city life. Although Shearwater Cove is surrounded by wilderness, guests are not alone in Resurrection Bay. Humpy Cove, Kayaker's Cove, and Fox Island are each less than a mile away from the Cove and are visited daily by kayakers and other remote lodgers. Shearwater Cove is also equipped with a marine VHF radio and a first aid kit for guest use in the case of emergency. Cell phone service is not available on the property, however a ten minute kayak paddle in the direction of Seward will get you back in range if needed. We encourage guests to disconnect from modern life during their stay and enjoy each other and the great outdoors, but if the need arises cell service is not far away.
  • Our visit to Shearwater Cove was unparalled by any other stint of our vacation. It was the stuff of dreams and magic, and an experience to be drunken in slowly so you don't miss a single drop. My husband and our 3-year old guy explored tidal pools and kayaked around the Fox Island and neighbording coves, found treasured rocks for our pockets, and hiked for one stunning view after another. Shearwater Cove is rejuvenating to the soul and body. I'd would do it over and over again. Jason and Charity are wonderfully thoughtful hosts and were always quick to reply with great detail to any questions we had leading up to our trip. They've thought of everything and beyond. Thanks so much for the adventure!

  • Staying at the yurt was an unbelievable experience. We saw whales 20 feet away from us, seals and sea lions came right up to our kayak while paddled in the bay. We saw a beautiful waterfalls in one of the back channels of the cove and the stream behind the yurt made for a peaceful background music while we were in the yurt reading and relaxing. Staying at the yurt was our absolute favorite part of our Alaska trip.

    Bill2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jason and Charity and were amazing, and the space was unbelievable. For a budget stressed grad student, it was a stretch, but far better than any other accommodation available in the area and worth every penny! This was the perfect, picturesque retreat space with plenty of opportunity for kayaking adventures. Hat Island, Fox Island and a couple of neat coves were easily accessible by kayak, and watching the sunset from the deck of the yurt was a perfect way to end the day. The yurts were comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. We plan to visit and stay again the next chance we get!

    Stephanie2016-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jason and Charity were really nice and the place was gorgeous. We saw otters on the way there and the view was really insane. The yurt are new, clean and perfect. End of May, it god a little cold outside but the heater was working well. The little town of Seward was one of the highlights of our trip and so was the yurt. Thanks!

    Alexandre2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jason and Charity were punctual, reliable, ethical, and warm hosts. Given the remoteness of the location, advanced planning was done with sufficient timing and clarity. The experience of taking a boat to the cove, being provided a tour, and sharing personal items (rain gear, kayaks) made me feel like I was visiting a relative. Their generosity did not stop at check-out time; they accommodated my needs for baggage storage, provided recommendations on day excursions, and were accessible by phone if I had any questions/concerns while in Seward. The yurt is a luxurious studio for the adventurous spirit, and the location hovering above a waterfall could not be more awe-inspiring.

    Jane2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing experience! Despite the rain we had an incredible time and really enjoyed having Megan show us around Resurrection Bay. Hot showers were enjoyed and the other amenities were great. We didn't expect to have so much space to hike around either! Thank you, Jason, for being so wonderful and accommodating! The best first yurt experience!

    Gretchen2016-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool place! We loved our stay at the yurt. It was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our boatride over and loved our kayaking adventure over to hat and then fox island. We saw sea otters a porpoise, jellyfish etc. It was just so beautiful. And the rain just made it so cozy

    Tamanna2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. Jason and Charity are AMAZING hosts and have created a paradise in Shearwater Cove. The fact they built this all themselves made us feel incredibly honored to be there. There was not one thing that was disappointing or unexpected. In fact, quite the opposite. It seemed like all night long, my husband and I were raving about another thing we hadn't expected that was AWSOME. Like all the wonderful suggestions Jason gave us for kayaking, all the fun history tid bits of Seward and just our fun conversation on the boat ride to the cove. Also , Charity's beautiful smile greeting us on the dock and the attention to detail she put into the decor and cleanliness of the yurt, helping us get into our kayaks the first time and her detailed tour of the cove. They have even built a couple beautiful hiking trails on their property.....who does that?! And their compost toilet and shower system......AMAZING!!! Staying here has made us want to come back to Alaska again and again!! This place is a MUST for all environmentally conscious travelers.

  • This place is a great fit for 4 people and if you wanted to you could get in a 5th or 6th. Meredith was easily accessible communication wise and responded to my questions almost immediately. Great place if you want a comfortable stay in Seward.

  • The Seahorse Cottage was just perfect for our small group of adults. Location is ideal, just a couple short blocks to the downtown shops and restaurants - easily walkable in a few minutes. Neighborhood is quiet on a street with other homes. View from the porch/kitchen of Resurrection Bay is stunning. The cottage is well-furnished - laundry, modern kitchen, and the sleeping is really comfortable with two bedrooms (one with bunk beds). The cottage was spotless clean and just as advertised. Check-in no problem. Fridge is huge so you can shop (there's a Safeway on the main road) and cook if you like. Impressive bookshelf in main room - there's a book for any taste. Meredith is unobtrusive as host but responds promptly to communications - though we didn't have any problems to communicate. Would stay here again certainly.

    David2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • What an adorable little cottage with spectacular views! Meredith was very accommodating with our luggage issues as well. Easy walk to multiple shops and restaurants and right next to the water to watch for seals and otters. Would highly recommend!

    Julie2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage is wonderful. Everything you could need and close to things to do and see. The hosts were amazingly accommodating and gracious. Couldn't be happier with our stay! The view was amazing! Thank you for a memorable stay!

    Schell2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the cottage was just spectacular. The cottage was clean, cozy, and conveniently located. We loved walking to the Sea Life Center, the playground, the church, and especially the Sean Bean coffee shop. There were many whales in the bay right outside our back door! Meredith was a wonderful, gracious host, and easy to communicate with. We already have another trip booked for another one of her properties, and hope to be back many times in the future.

    Kelly2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect home with a beautiful view. Just down the street from the ocean where we viewed sea lions and a sea otter right from the shore.

    Tom2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Meredith's place was beautiful, both interior and the views! We had a wonderful time and everything was very neat and clean. We even did a load of laundry and cooked breakfast by our mountain view. We'll definitely stay again!

    Emily2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Meredith has a gorgeous place! We fell in love with a seating area in the dining room that faced the ocean! The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils, pots, pans and utensils. All the appliances were in good working condition, washer dryer, refrigerator, toaster oven and a microwave. The bedrooms were super comfortable with extra pillows and blankets, the bedrooms had thick blinds that prevented the lights which is a good plus point! The location of the house is also wonderful! Just a few steps away from the ocean and very close to the downtown, harbor, Safeway etc. overall we really enjoyed our stay at Meredith and highly recommend it for families :)

Newly remodeled room and shared bath with easy access to both downtown and Exit Glacier in a quiet neighborhood with huge spruce trees. Dozens of hiking trails are minutes away!
Our house was built as a church in 1980, so it has massive living areas and tall ceilings. There is a newly remodeled kitchen and living area shared among 3 rooms inside and a firepit and seating area outside under the huge spruce trees.
We are located in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of space and beautiful large trees. Neighbors are friendly and there are plenty of places to walk, jog and bike ride, as well as being a 5 minute drive to downtown Seward.
  • Kelli provided a very comfortable place for us to stay.

    Laura2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Kelli's place had everything we needed. It was close to downtown Seward, our room was clean and spacious, and the common areas (bathroom, living room, kitchen) were all also clean and renovated. Highly recommend Kelli's place!

    Jason2017-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • The room was clean and comfortable. We had a really nice stay at Seward, thanks for hosting us!

  • The room and the hose were great! It was newly remodeled, very comfortable, and close to everything we wanted. Would definitely stay again.

    Kristen2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great room in a great location! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bath is shared with a few other rooms, so if you have a schedule to keep, keep that in mind. Kelli is super helpful and welcoming!

    Joseph2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Kelli's place was a short drive away from downtown Seward in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. The room was clean and stocked with fresh fruit and soft towels! The room also had light darkening curtains, which was great for sleeping in the summer. The bathroom is communal, but you wouldn't be able to tell! It is super clean with a nice walk-in shower. We had no issues with sharing a bathroom with one other room. The kitchen is full-sized, and is great for storing snacks. Kelli even put some fresh spring water in the kitchen for guests to enjoy. You have the entire first floor area to use, which is great! The other people in the house were friendly and hospitable, but the stay was also private and comfortable. Our stay was clean, affordable, and an excellent option for travelers!

    Lindsay2017-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed having a place like this to come back to after our days out adventuring in Seward. The bed was very comforatable and the curtains blocked out all of the summer light. Kelli was helpful and offered up many suggestions for us when we were planning our trip. The other residents were extremely welcoming. We hope to stay here again!

***Check Calendar for OFF SEASON / WINTER RATES**** Our cozy home is located on Seward's Salmon Creek. Just outside of city limits, you'll be close to town while having a private location in the woods (and avoid the $35 city bed tax!). We are minutes from Kenai Fjords National Park, Exit Glacier, and have and active bald eagle nest on our property. Enjoy the full kitchen, outdoor grill, and fire pit. Even our friends who live in Alaska agree, this is a special and tranquil location.
This small, two story home is full of large windows, vaulted tongue-in-groove wood ceilings, and custom wood doors. You'll have a full acre (about the size of a football field) offering private access to Salmon Creek. Watch bald eagles fish and salmon running upstream! The fresh, filtered ground water system is cold and delicious. Our cabin is not huge at just over 1,000sf, and is perfect for 4 to 6 guests.
You'll love our quite, secluded neighborhood less than 2 miles from the grocery store. There is no through traffic on our street, and our wooded lot has trails to walk the grounds. (BTW being outside of town, you won't have to pay the city bed tax ~$35)
  • Very comfortable cabin that provides a great Alaska experience. Perfect place to kick-back, read a book, enjoy a campfire, and take in the wildlife. The eagles were a treat to watch, and the spawning salmon were a bonus! Karl is a great host.

    Terry2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as pictured. Good communication with the host.

    Amanda2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin had a great rustic feel to it and we enjoyed being able to take a walk out the backyard and just sit and watch the river flowing by. Sadly no Eagles in the nest but we saw many later in the trip. Home had all the basic necessities and appreciated having 2 full bathrooms to use.

    Valerie2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • On our last "family" vacation with my parents and sister before she gets married and I was really glad we stayed here instead of in separate hotel rooms. Saw two bald eagles flying in the back yard, built a camp fire, and sat on a bench overlooking a creek all on the property. Had no trouble finding the place using Karl's directions.

    Roman2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • House was exactly as described. It slept 6 comfortably and it was conveniently located, close to downtown Seward.

    Mary2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in this rustic, Alaskan cabin. It was a bit tight for 4 adults, 2 small kids and a baby, but we weren't in Seward to sit inside a house anyway! Great location, and a responsive host. Our older kids loved the quirky yard complete with a tree house.

    anna2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Karl was a wonderful host. He was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The cabin is conveniently located a few minutes from town with a grocery store just down the road. The pictures accurately portray the home. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to others!

    Katie2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Karl's place is a quirky "cabin in the woods". There is no TV which makes you enjoy the outdoors or play games and converse. Unfortunatly, it was rainy so couldn't take advantage of the outdoor fire pit. We loved the eagles nest in the tree and watched them come and go in the mornings. Easy access to Seward. Karl gave great directions and we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. He always answered any questions I had with quick responses.

Mossy Spruce Lodging is a quick 5-7 minute drive (about 3 miles) to the harbor, shops, and restaurants. We are located in a peaceful, wooded neighborhood outside city limits. Our property boasts magnificent mountain views, and the cabin is brand new. There are 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed and 2 twin beds) and 1 full bathroom.
Our cabin is brand new. We just finished construction in April of 2017 so this summer will be its maiden voyage! The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and solid surface countertops. The overall feel of the space is modern with some quirky and fun finishing touches.
  • All the previous reviews sum up this wonderful place. It's just perfect and I had a lovely stay here with my mom and two young kiddos. Stay here, enjoy Anna's delicious baking and you'll be back.

  • Look no further if you need two bedrooms in Seward! Anna's place is clean, modern, and well equipped. While it's a bit far from the attractions, the setting in the forest is quite peaceful. Anna was a great hostess!

    Patrick2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house was very new and a great location with even some homemade baked goods waiting for us. It'(URL HIDDEN)minute easy drive into DT. The experience was A+. Anna was great in regards to check in, check out, and local recommendations.

    Reid2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Anna's place shows the love and care she has put into it. Everything is comfortable and upscale, while giving you a feeling of being in your own home. It has new appliances, very comfortable beds and a modern (URL HIDDEN) fact, everything is new and sparkling. The upscale "cabin" is next to Anna's house while providing the feeling of being secluded. It's quiet and only a few miles from town.

    Lee2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Anna's Cabin locates in a very quiet neighborhood. There are trees around so you can have lots of privacy. The Cabin is very clean. The decorations are beautiful and make you feel like home. Anna is very nice and helpful. She prepared almost everything: cooking tools, various sauces, washing machine and dryer. No need to mention shampoo, conditioner and cotton swabs. My stay here is very comfortable and unforgettable!!

    Crystal2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying in this adorable cottage. Anna was a fabulous hostess! There were freshly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us on arrival. Delicious! The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Anna also provided wonderful restaurant recommendations. She was always super prompt in responding to inquiries. We'll be back the next time we are in Seward! Thanks again for your hospitality!

    Caroline2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • In addition to having all of the practical items (washer, dryer, cooking utensils, towels, bedding, etc) Anna went above and beyond with soap, comfortable beds, blankets, fire pit, and even fresh baked banana bread when we checked in. The best Airbnb I've ever stayed and highly recommended to anyone coming through seward area. Extremely clean and very comfortable. It's a short 5-minute drive to town and well worth it for the private house.

This is one of our very basic dry cabins, with electricity, and restrooms/showers available nearby. There are 3 sets of built-in bunk beds, with 3 double beds and 3 single beds- the beds have mattresses but NO LINENS. Please don't forget to bring your own linens/sleeping bags:) The only heat source in this cabin is the wood-burning stove, so guests must be familiar with wood stoves, as there won't always be someone around to help get the fire going. Thanks!
  • Loved the location, beautiful view!

  • Crow's Nest was a perfect dry cabin for our short stay on Kenai. No problem finding the place and check in was a cinch. Close enough to amenities of Seward, but off the beaten path enough for seclusion. If you're looking for a basic cabin, I'd highly recommend!

  • Beautiful property. Well appointed. Everything you could possibly need for your stay in Seward. Also significantly cheaper then a similarly appointed hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

  • Justyne's place is recently remodeled and within easy driving distance from downtown Seward. It is clean and well equipped. Justyne is obviously an experienced and considerate host and takes her role seriously.

    James2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Justyne was very accommodating with our schedule and her place was amazing! She put out snacks and had yogurt parfaits in the fridge for breakfast. She also chatted with us for a while when we got in and filled us in on a music festival that was going on that night. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

  • Camai B&B was a slice of heaven. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the washer and dryer was a great amenity. Schedules did not allow us to meet Justyne but we knew she was just a text or phone call away if needed. Super close to the marina to take a cruise and a minute or so further from there are many great restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Unique, comfortable & newly remodeled. Located in town & close to everything. Full kitchen, livingroom, on demand hot water, deck with view of Resurrection Bay, bbq, queen bed & queen click clack sofa, washer & dryer, internet access and directv.
This WWII Quonset Hut was remodeled in 2010. It is unique and comfortable. You can sit inside or outside on the deck and enjoy the views of Resurrection Bay. Or from the front you can view Mt Marathon. Located in the heart of Seward, between the boat harbor and downtown, both are only a few blocks away. The free shuttle bus passes within a block from the quonset hut.
  • This hut is awesome. Super nice and clean and cozy. The VHS selection is top notch. Also of note is the magnificent massage chair, a one of a kind gem of comfort. I would definitely recommend the hut to friends and family.

    Jordan2016-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the note welcoming me on arrival, and the thorough instructions emailed ahead of time. Very walkable little town, with this great hut right in the middle!

    Ashley2016-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • The sign on the door with our names on it made us feel welcome. The Quonset hut was cozy and quaint. The heater was nice and warm. The kitchen had all the basics, the bed was comfortable. The location is ideal so close to downtown, the library/museum and the Sealife Center.

    Bethany 2015-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the very comfortable and conveniently located quonset hut. As stated in other reviews, the location is fantastic. I really liked the unique artwork displayed around the hut. My husband and I were also obsessed with the massage chair; what a treat! Debra was wonderful in her communications with us and we can tell that she wants her guests to enjoy their stay. We love to visit Seward and I know that we will book with Debra again.

  • Wonderful place to stay, great location and views. Very comfortable and clean. Communications with the host were somewhat abrupt and confusing, but everything was resolved without a delay. Would happily stay here again on my next visit to Seward!

    Lorena2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay! Debra provided excellent instructions; the Quonset Hut was cosy, warm, extremely clean, and well equipped; and its location was fantastic. Loved the grill in the back. Would not hesitate to recommend again, and stay here again if we return to Seward.

Awesome location! Blocks away from downtown shopping area and walking distance to the Seward Boat Harbor. This place has a great view of the world famous Mt. Marathon. You will have your own private room with a lock to safely store your belongings during the day.
Roomy and comfortable living space with recliner and sofa. Full sized table. Board games and DVDs available for rainy days! Please keep in mind that you are sharing a living space and bathroom with another guest. This is an old house and sound does carry. Please be considerate of your neighbor. Thank you!
    Safe neighborhood centrally located.
  • Perfect listing! Very close to downtown, very accurate description. It worked out great for me. Toni, was very helpful and super easy to communicate with. Highly recommended listing.

    Josh2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Ursa Manor was quite nice. Seward is expensive so given the cost of hotels, even though we felt the price was high, this was a much better value than the Hotel options. Checkin was easy as we were given a code. We also had a coded lock on our bedroom. Shared bathroom and living space worked out just fine. There were some snacks, beverages, microwave and a mini fridge available. Not a full Kitchen. The bedroom was nice and cozy. All in all pleasant stay. Thanks Toni!

    James 2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Toni's place is centrally located and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for our stay. Toni was very helpful with suggestions of good winter trails, places to eat, and knowledge of the town in general. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone spending time inSeward!

    Jamie 2017-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Toni's place is super cute! The photos on the walls are beautiful, the snacks were great to have around, the bed was super comfortable and the location is awesome. A few blocks from bars/restaurants one direction and to the marina the other direction. The bathroom was very clean even though it's shared bath. The little bonuses of a fan and a small vanity mirror in the room made the stay even more cozy and convenient! Thank you!

    Liza2017-06-12T00:00:00Z

Lakeside Cottage is right on beautiful Bear Lake, a quick ten minute drive to the town of Seward and the boat harbor. We are steps away from the historic Iditarod hiking trail and walking distance from the Bear Creek fish weir. Our cottage is actually two separate units (upper and lower) rented as one, making it perfect for extended families and larger groups. Relax around the shoreside fire pit in the evening. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups.
  • Our family of 6 loved our stay at Catherine's house. Bear Lake is a beautiful location away from downtown Seward and all the cruise ships. The house was perfectly sized for 4 adults and 2 kids. The house has all the amenities we could've wanted and everything was in new or like-new condition. Catherine was very communicative and made our stay easy and relaxing.

    Donna2017-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • The house was in a perfect location, just minutes from town in a perfect location. Our family enjoyed a fire by the lake. The house was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable.

  • One of the best Airbnb accommodations we have stayed in. Great location with only a small drive from town and very close to the Salmon weir. The most set up kitchen we've seen anywhere. Firewood and all needed accessories available. Very clean with a washer and dryer available. Beds were extremely comfortable. Loved everything about this place. Tom and Kathy were lovely and very helpful.

    Jessica2017-06-28T00:00:00Z

    Kimberly2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This hosts, location + space were perfect for our six person family reunion. The home was immaculate and perfect for relaxing. Great common spaces, porch + fire pit for hanging out. They even stopped by to say hello + make sure all was well, which it was. The lake and hiking trails were amazing as well. I would highly recommend this location. A sincere thank you to our hosts for making our visit for memorable + special.

    Justin2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at Catherine's house and saw a lovely welcome sign with my name in front of the porch. That was so sweet. The house has two units, which are not connected inside the house. There are two separate entrances. We have total 7 people, so we reserved the entire house. It is spacious. The only complaint from my family was the upstairs shower room too small. The downstairs unit is very nice. If you have four people, definitely request for the downstairs unit. The king bed downstairs is the best bed I've ever slept on. Even the pulled out couch bed in the living room is very comfortable. Catherine installed the washer and dryer this summer, which really helped us a lot. I really appreciate it. The house is very clean and well maintained. It is next to the Bear Lake, where we saw a lot of salmon in the lake. That was so amazing! Catherine had a lot of firewood stocked, so we were able to start the fire next to the lake. Kids had lots of fun. We definitely will go back to Catherine's place next time when we visit Seward.

  • Minutes from Seward on beautiful quiet Bear Lake. Loved the location setting and comfy accommodations

    Gail2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I stayed here following a cruise that docked in Seward to extend the trip and do some fishing. The cabin was fantastic; everything was super clean and it is situated in a beautiful, quiet, private location right on a small lake. It is only a few minutes outside of town, but it feels like your own private slice of the Alaskan wilderness. The cabin was very well furnished and was also nicely stocked beyond expectations with everything necessary to prepare our own meals (which saved us considerable money versus eating out every night). Catherine and Tom were very friendly and prompt to respond to questions and they go out of their way to provide a wealth of information about things to see and do around town. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or better hosts! I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Seward!

    Jennifer2016-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This Air B n B is AMAZING. Its located exactly where you want to stay - off the beaten track but a short walk to town. Close to a path along the bay if you want a morning run with the mist rising over the water. Near Rays Seafood which is pretty great and also near a harbor full of river otters and other marine life that are too cute. Iris is such a perfect host - there when you need her but not invasive at all. She offered breakfast and other treats - and a candle for my moms birthday to make the day extra sweet for her. She also has great stories of the area if you're interested and a book about her late husband Captain Jack Johnson (and her as well) that you can read to get more of a sense of the place you're staying in. If we ever make it back to Seward we'll definitely stay with Iris and wish it was closer.

It's not a large unit but it's extremely functional. Everything is new and fresh, bed is comfortable and the pullout was surprisingly comfortable as well. Kitchen area was great and has everything you need Location is PERFECT!!! Minutes from downtown Seward and minutes from exit glacier. • Cozy little house in a little forest... The house has every thing we need staying there, and we can make our own meals and barbecue outside of the house.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Glacier Cabin! It was clean, comfy, private and just a short drive to downtown Seward. We would definitely recommend to friends visiting the area!

  • Small but surprisingly spacious and comfortable little cabin. And oh is it ever adorable! We very much enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely rent again if we are ever in need of a place in the Seward area. Book without hesitation!

NEVER PAY THROUGH WESTERN UNION Sea Star Cottage is a charming family get away in historic downtown Seward, Alaska. The cottage is ideally located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, galleries, and the Alaska SeaLife center. Cottage guests will enjoy lovely views, a fully-equipped, updated kitchen, and two cozy bedrooms with restored original hardwood floors. The larger bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a bunk with a full sized lower bed and a twin on top.
Great location in historic downtown Seward. This cute cottage is the perfect location for visiting Seward. Reminder: NEVER MAKE A PAYMENT FOR THIS PROPERTY THROUGH WESTERN UNION.
The historic neighborhood is one of the oldest in the entire state. Small cottages line the streets and it is easy to walk to the local businesses and along the water.
  • The cottage was very nice, and a lot of thought was put into making it interesting and comfortable for the guests. The hosts were flexible with us concerning the length of our stay, which we greatly appreciated. It was more pricey than the other airbnb's we used, but also of higher quality and so the value was reasonable. We definitely enjoyed our stay in this charming little house. It is near the waterfront and a short walk to the historic downtown.

    Bill2015-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place was awesome. Very clean, close to downtown, and complete with local suggestions of where to go and what to do. It became a bit confusing as the date approached because the rental is actually administrated by (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), but with an easy phone call to the host everything fell right on place. Will definitely stay here again!

  • We absolutely loved our stay at the Sea Star in Seward. The location was great - so close to everything we wanted to walk to including the Sea Life Center, the restaurants (we had a great meal at The Cookery), and the local watering holes. This home was head and shoulders above all of the other AirBnB homes we have stayed in, both in Alaska and elsewhere. The home was really comfortable, impeccably clean and so well-appointed! The hosts have thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable, from a very well-equipped kitchen to a wide variety of nice products in the bathroom. All of our communication with the host was clear and easy, and check-in was a breeze. We loved it!!

    Jennifer2017-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Seward has so many wonderful things to see & do, but you need to go there just to stay in the Sea Star Cottage! The location was perfect with a view out the front window of the snow covered mountains across the bay. The house itself is beautifully decorated (absolutely loved the hardwood floors!), fully stocked, phenomenally clean and totally comfortable! The owners were readily accessible to help wih all our needs, including the best place to buy fresh halibut to grill out back! If we go back to Seward, it will only be if we can stay in the Sea Star Cottage again!

    Scott2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sea Star was a great place to stay in Seward. We comfortably fit 3 adults into this "shotgun" style house. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook a lot of meals there. We were able to walk most everywhere we needed to go within Seward including down to the docks for a whale watching excursion and over to the Sea Life Center (both highly recommended while there). Seward is a beautiful place and we were very sad to leave

    Anthony2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at the cottage. Very well positioned, homely, well stocked kitchen. Wish we could of stayed longer. Thank you.

    Charmaine2015-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • I was very pleased with my stay at Sea Star. The cottage was cozy and very clean. The location is ideal for getting around town or to any of the cruises or other fun things to do in the cute little town. Matt and Christina were very helpful prior to and during my stay.

    Kiki2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Sea Star is a wonderful home away from home! Christine made our arrival and check -in very easy. We received wonderful pre-trip arrival information. It's great to have one less bit of follow up when preparing to travel. The house is very clean and extremely well stocked. Including games books magazines, kids DVDs and local guide books. All very much appreciated including the welcome note with tea and cookies. Loved the location right across the street from a cool coffee shop with an easy walk to downtown or jump on the free seward summer shuttle.

Located above the Seward Alehouse, this 250 sq ft studio room is in the heart of downtown Seward, Alaska. You have your own private full bath, a double size bed that sleeps up to 2 adults, wireless internet, cable tv, on site parking, and a perfect location!
Beautiful mountain views right out your front door.
Located in the heart of downtown Seward, we are only one block from the waterfront and located in the midst of many restaurants, pubs, gift shops and more.
  • We really enjoyed the location of this room because it's within walking distance the Alaska Sealife Center and downtown. Also, the marina is less than a 5 minute drive away. The room was basic in appearance, but provided everything we needed. It was quiet, had a nice shower, and we found the bed comfortable. The self check-in was great because we didn't have much time in Seward, so without a traditional check-in we had more time to explore the city.

    Kimberly2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pleasure to stay in the room. The room was as described and exactly what I was looking for. Liz was very helpful and available for questions- she made the experience seamless and simple.

    Mordy2015-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • basic accommodation. the bed is not a real double bed , and if you stay in room n. 1 the WIFI DOES NOT WORK ! I wrote to liz about WIFI but she did not answer . the location is perfect close to bars and clubs.

    Silvia2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • NIGHTS FROM HELL!! First night I had NO idea the room was on top of a bar so I couldn't sleep until the music died at 2am. My fishing trip left at 6am so I was tired. That night there were additional guests who continually partied until 3am (walls are PAPER thin). They brought at least 4 dogs with them who all barked and were fighting. I asked them FOUR times myself to keep it down with only 5 minutes of quietness before getting loud again. I believe they were friends with Liz. I called Liz but relied on texting with her. She apologized and said she called them but it did NO good. They sounded very familiar with her and they didn't give a damn to not have dogs on the property on in the rooms. Liz refunded one night stay, which I appreciate in the least, but I want both nights refunded because I did not enjoy my stay AT ALL. I would never have stayed if I knew it was on top of a bar and the lack of action for noise complaints, I should have called the police looking back. My Memorial Day vacation was ruined because of this. Never again. PS no TV as described either

    MARIACRISTINA 2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • I spent 2 nights at this place, it was ok. The location is very good, Liz is very responsive to my messages. However I found it very odd that there is no hair dryer in the room. I asked if she could provide one, she said no. How much a hair dryer costs, $15? Isn't is an essential? The bed is a bit too soft. Other than that, it was ok.

    asli2015-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was fine. Got in a-ok. Was what we needed and were expecting.

    Corrie2016-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • The room is pretty spartan, but you won't want to spend much time in the room anyways. The location is AMAZING. It's right next to some amazing restaurants in the heart of Seward, and provides easy access to Resurrection Bay, the SeaLife Center, and fishing charters. 10/10 would stay again!

From our location we are an easy walk to the downtown business district offering Alaska Sea Life Center, shops, restaurants, a brew house and Laundromat. The Mount Marathon trail head is just three blocks behind our house and the Marathon Jeep trail, a less intense route, is one block away. Also, our place is one mile to the Seward Small Boat Harbor. Each room has its own combination lock this includes the main door.
11% taxes included. Our Mt. Alice -Room#2 - Sleeps 4 adults and is a comfortable large private room with a personal key code with two pillow top queen size beds and a private bathroom with a large shower. The main window in the room offers a view of Mt. Alice with Wi-Fi ,cable TV Other amenities: delicious warm continental breakfast (June-Sept. ), during off season (Oct.- April)- room only. Snacks, tea and coffee are always available. It is a shared dining area and sitting/entry room
  • The place is very nice and cozy, Cindy's homemade breakfast is really good. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  • The breakfast burritos were fantastic and Naneth was great at making sure we had food by 6:30 for our early tour of the Fjords. I appreciated Naneth's frequent communication with us.

  • I can't say enough positive things about this bed and breakfast. The owners and their beautiful family were very accommodating as they noticed I was watching four toddlers. The location was perfect walking distance to the RV lot, park, library, and youth center. The room was clean and cozy with personal touches such as historical artifacts and a history of the home. The communal living space also contained a stocked fridge with snacks and water for my family. Finally, the hot breakfast was a joy to wake up to each morning. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Seward and this bed and breakfast made it all the more better. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others vacation in the area.

  • This was a great find! Super clean, well kept 2 Queen room with a private bath and easy access. Walking distance to town, the water's edge and trails. Naneth made a nice breakfast and had a great selection of organic teas. There's a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and snacks available just outside the room. Naneth and Craig are good people, I would definitely recommend and stay again.

My place is close to both downtown and the small boat harbor as well as beautiful hikes and walking trails. The forest trail and the 2 lakes park is just a few feet from your door. The coastal trail is just a short distance the other direction. You’ll love my place because you have the privacy of having you own place with your own kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, living room, and you are close to everything that Seward has to offer, fishing, kayaking, hiking, cruising, and much more.
This gives you the privacy of having your own apartment. You can chose to cook your own meals, or eat out at the many nearby restaurants. This is an ideal location in Seward. You can walk to downtown, the small boat harbor, or catch the free shuttle bus. You don't need a rental car.
  • It's a comfortable place, very centrally located & all that is required for a short stay is provided. I was quite happy & I would absolutely recommend Jay's place!

  • It was a great place to stay in Seward, the walk to either side wasn't bad but making it several times a day was a little rough. Having a car or bike would have been better staying this far from downtown. The Thai place around the corner was really good though when we went there because we were too tired to walk to eat downtown after kayaking all dayoverall for the house, the place was great, bed was very firm, and the location was manageable without a car.

  • We stayed at Jay's place in June 2017 for 3 nights. We really liked it, since we had the whole place to ourselves. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, and the bed was comfortable, with an extra bedding provided just in case. There was a full sized refrigerator and a washer-dryer in the back, though we didn't wash clothes there. There's TV and we were amused to find a channel for Alaska Sealife center there. Seward also has a very big Safeway, for any grocery needs. Overall, we liked Jay's place a lot and will be back :)

Our home is conveniently located in the heart of town, a block from the beach on Resurrection Bay. Easy walking distance to all restaurants and many hiking trails. A comfortable base camp for your Seward Adventure.
Our home is a charming, cottage style space with our private master bedroom upstairs, and our guest bedroom on the main floor. There is an open layout for the living and dining room, and the shared bathroom is located next to the guest bedroom. The best seat in the house is a yellow chair beside the wood stove where you can get views of the mountains through large picture windows. A prime spot for reading or enjoying your cup of coffee! We look forward to sharing our home with you!
Our neighborhood is a quiet residential area 1 block away from the ocean and a 5 minute walk from downtown Seward. There are great hiking trials that begin about a 5-10 minute walk from our house and the small boat harbor is roughly a 20 minute walk. If you would rather, the free Seward shuttle has a pick-up location about 1 block from the house. There is also plenty of free streetside parking available. This is a great location to access all of what Seward has to offer!
  • Wonderful experience. Shawna and Steve were gracious and easy going hosts. Room and home were clean and very comfortable. • Had a great stay at this cute place in Seward. Got plenty of good recommendations from Shawna's brother who was visiting. Their dog is super friendly and fun to play with. The location is great too, close to most of the restaurants around sea life center in the downtown. The price seems to be a bit expensive like all things in Alaska and we were there during the 4th of July weekend.

  • This is the first time I use Airbnb as overnight option, and the experience was fabulous. The location is great, room was clean and most importantly, it makes me feel that I am invited by the host instead of just traveling to a complete alien county. Their dog Karate is very friendly and cute. So sorry for not being able to stay more days in there, but I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

  • This is a gem of a place to stay while in Seward. It is easy to find and very close to downtown - an easy walk! Their house is darling, so well designed and tastefully decorated. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable with easy access to everything. Book your stay right away - you will come away relaxed and refreshed.

  • Steve and Shawna are very easy going hosts, great to chat with, but give plenty of space and privacy. The room was comfortable, the house nicely decorated with artwork and travel photos, and the location was just a street or two from the waterfront and walkable to restaurants and many of the tour companies in town. Street parking was also readily available.

You will never want to leave!
  • Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with for this vacation! We did a bit of a spur of the moment trip over the 4th of July week so most things were booked. She was responsive, accommodating and worked hard to make sure we knew where/how to find the activities that were important to us. I would recommend her, the location and the apartment to anyone looking to visit Seward!

  • Sarah's place is wonderful, right in the heart of the action in Seward. Awesome views and location to tours and restaurants, this place has it all! Unit was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Seward -- we will be back!!

  • This is a gorgeous place with a nice view of the harbor. It was a super close walk to the glacier cruise we took and local restaraunts. Clean, nicely done space.

  • Sarah's place is well equipped, conveniently located, and spotless. She went out of her way to ensure all possible kinks were worked out prior to my arrival. The view out over the docks is beautiful, with endless coming and going, yet the apartment is quiet and peaceful. I would return if I ever have the opportunity.

  • Wonderful cabin! Very comfortable and accommodating. Only spent one night but next time in Seward, will definitely request a few more days! The Iditarod history of, I'm assuming; the owners; is amazing.

  • Quiet, comfortable and good location (Short drive to town and surrounding attractions). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • Our stay was really enjoyable! The cabin was rustic, but very clean and comfortable. Plenty large enough for our party of four. Super comfy couch. Great water pressure. Nice private location.

  • The cabin was EXTREMELY clean and well put together. We walked in and first noticed the wonderful clean smell. There was a journal on the table where guests could write down their adventures in Alaska, which was a great way to hear what others were doing in the area. The cabin has a beautiful kitchen, and is so cozy. When I go back, I will definitely be staying here again. I met another couple in town that were in a different cabin through Danny, and they had the same experience! Wonderful time at a wonderful place.

    Sam2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • A nice cozy/secluded cabin located outside of Seward. The cabin can easily accommodate 6-8 guests. Enjoy!

  • Comfortable beds. Nestled in the woods, a few minutes' drive from town. Friendly staff. Decent wifi.

    Heather2016-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for a family visit to seward, and very helpful friendly staff! My dad forgot a raincoat and they were able to lend him one for the day. And that was just one example of how they went above and beyond!

  • Mary Ann was a fun lady and we enjoyed chatting with her as she was very knowledgable about Seward and the surrounding area. The house is in a quiet but convenient location. The room and adjacent bathroom are pleasantly decorated and very comfortable. Clementine the cat is a fun furball if you like cats. May Ann also makes a breakfast for you each day and places it in the refrigerator which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the bed is a full and we are used to a queen so it felt a little small. Luckily we were tired from our days out and slept pretty well but that could be an issue for some people.

  • Great place to stay. Coastal beach feel of the village is reflected in this charming home; step inside for an immaculate, well appointed and comfortably cozy stay. Mary Ann provided great breakfasts, recommendations for local favorites and was a lovely host! Definitely would return!

  • I had an excellent experience staying at Mary's B and B. The breakfast prepared each morning was always a treat worth looking forward to, and as far as location - Arctic Paradise couldn't be more convenient. Mary was extremely helpful in booking various adventures (Paddle boarding, Ice-Climbing, you name it!) for my friend and I. Would recommend to anyone!

  • Mary Ann was a fantastic host and her place is great! She gave me a great binder with lots of suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. She also always had breakfast made for me which was awesome because I left early every morning and cafes weren't open then. I didn't spend much time staying in but her place felt very welcoming and she had everything I needed and more. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend Mary Ann to anyone traveling to Seward! Thanks Mary Ann!!
