“Best burgers in town! Everything, including the ketchup is homemade here. Choose from a veggie, beef, or chicken patty cooked up in all sorts of tasty ways. Hand cut fries are not to be missed. Salads and other goodies too, and an awesome beer list round out the fun at this local favorite. ”

“What can I say? Leopold’s is an institution in Savannah. At their busiest times, you’ll find yourself waiting in a line all the way down the block, but it is so worth it! Dozens of homemade flavors that change weekly, they’ll let you sample a few before you decide - decent sandwiches, too. ”

“Interesting blend of coffee shop favorite with tex mex lunch/dinner options. This place is incredibly popular, a big reason being that it's in an old historic home. Enjoy this comfortable interior or sit outside in their secluded courtyard.”

Bakery
“I love this place. One of the best bakeries I've ever been too world wide. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are amazing so are all the pastries. Open Thursday to Sunday only until 3pm. They sell out and often have long lines, but well worth it.”

Italian Restaurant
“While Garibaldi’s serves a full menu, its beautiful decor (gold New Orleans style tin ceilings, black leather booths, and uber-romantic mood lighting), diverse clientele and skilled and friendly bartenders make it one of our favorite places to grab a before or after dinner drink.”

“A rustic little cafe and bakery that’s slightly off the beaten path, Maté Factor has a loyal local following and is operated by The Twelve Tribes as one of several stores scattered across the county. Perfect for a quiet place to grab a scone and yerba maté! Be sure to look for the wild “Peacemaker” bus that’s usually parked outside.”

“Locally owned coffee shop. Great for a quick cup and vegan snack options. Always busy!”

Bakery
“ Chef Hugh Acheson’s first foray into Savannah marries the flavors of the South with the artful dishes of Tuscany. Executive chef Kyle Jacovino’s rotating menu might feature a silken farm egg starter with nduja sausage and polenta, whole-roasted fish with Carolina Gold rice, or duck cannelloni with tomatoes and garlic crema, and the bar has become one of the city’s chief gathering spots before and after gallery openings and the First Friday Art March.”

“Just a few minutes stroll (literally 3 minutes) from the airbnb. Get your morning coffee here! You won't regret it. They also serve amazing breakfast sandwiches and good spot for quick easy lunch too. ”

Cafe
“This place is great! Everything I've had is delicious, and it's a great option when you are downtown for a day and want to shop or wander through art galleries...It's also my go to for a good Belgian Waffle when I get a hankering! Parking is a pain because it's downtown, so either go during the week, Uber/Lyft, or plan a few extra minutes driving around and around to find an open spot! ”

“When you want to be in Paris...but you aren't...the croissants alone will ruin you for anyone else's croissants for at least a week! Breakfast all day, and brunch options on the weekends. Oh - and it's a beautiful little cafe, easy access to River Street street, Bay street, and Broughton Street shops and sightseeing.”
