  • Giacomo and his family are welcoming hists and they prepared everything needed for us. Despite the late hours of arrival, we checked in with no problems, showed us around and offered his help for anything that we could be needing. Communication was excellent and weeks before the arriving date, we communicated with each other and planned the stay together to avoid any misshaps.

SUPER CONSIGLIATO.

It was founded in 897 A.D. by the monks of the Abbey of Farfa on the run from the Saracen invasion. Here in Santa Vittoria the monks created a new monastery which soon became a center of great cultural and religious significance in the whole region of the Piceno. The medieval heritage of Santa Vittoria is still breathing in the presence of ancient churches decorated with frescoes and palaces built with the characteristic fifteenth century red bricks. The medieval village of Santa Vittoria is surrounded by a sweet campaign consisting of an endless succession of hills planted as centuries ago: olive groves, vineyards, wheat fields and oak woods to interrupt the sequence of the fields. • This was a wonderful place to stay. The house is lovely, has beautiful views, and is well appointed. The area is wonderful for both hiking and the beach, and many other things between. Terry and Caroline are excellent hosts. They have tremendous local knowledge, and were able to direct us to some wonderful restaurants and events. I highly recommend a stay at their property.

  • This is a stunning property set in a beautiful location and will go beyond your expectations from the photos. Everything is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, and it is incredibly spacious for a one-bedroom let. There is an upstairs patio balcony, where we drank the chilled bottle of prosecco kindly left in the fridge for us by Terry and Caroline. Sipping wine whilst looking out to views of the rolling Le Marche hills and distant Sibillini mountains feels like a little piece of pardise. Downstairs, just outside the kitchen and sitting room there is a large outdoor wooden table plus loungers where we ate breakfast in the morning (there are figs and plums from the garden) and sometimes dinner in the evening. Looking out over the fields and hills or just sitting and reading a good book whilst listening to the sounds of the circadeas is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. As mentioned, we did need a car to travel around and there are no taxis, but there are a number of small pretty towns and eateries within a 10-20 minute drive. If you like hiking, the sibillini walk from Sibilla refuge has breathtaking views, but it's not easy, and you need to be well prepared. There are, however, more gentle walks that can be found. Terry and Caroline are extremely affable hosts who are attentive and approachable, my husband and I felt incredibly relaxed in their company. They live in the house next to the casa and are happy to answer any queries or offer advice. They also give their guests lots of space so you really feel at peace in the countryside. They have a dog, Saffy, who is just adorable, but Terry and Caroline are also very careful and considerate to check whether you like dogs. I think I could go on singing the praises of this beautiful region, Casa Edera, and Terry and Caroline as hosts. My husband and I have been lucky enough to travel to lots of beautiful places, and this is certainly one of the best places we've stayed.

Situated above the countryside on a private hilltop overlooking the southern Marche region of Italy, this 18th century farmhouse has been carefully restored to retain it’s traditional character and original historic structure. Built in the 18th century, the stone construction and lofty timber ceilings open into fresh whitewashed interiors that give it that laid back country feel that extends throughout the property. Furnished with local antiques and a mix of vintage finds, beautiful linens and modern touches, it’s a relaxing and authentic country home. Arranged over two floors, the living area and kitchen with dining area are bright communal gathering spaces that open out to the gardens. Both the master bedroom and the additional guest room sit in the timbered eves and are private and romantic escapes with lovely views. There is an additional garden room that features an outdoor bath and charming comforts. The dining terrace allows for up to eight to dine alfresco under the pergola and has daybeds for lounging with stunning panoramic views across the countryside.
  • A beautiful house deep in the Le Marche countryside. The view from the terrace over the valley is amazing and the house itself is a delight. The outside bathroom is quirky and quite fun when it is warm but a bit of a challenge as the evenings get cooler and darker! Sam was easy to contact and extremely helpful. All in all a delightful rural retreat.

  • Beautiful, well coordinated (hosted) and perfectly located cottage! I don't have much to say other than rave about the experience. A stunning location with gorgeous views. There are several beautiful towns within a 5 minute drive, which have all you more or less need. The countryside is much nicer than I expected and despite having travelled extensively throughout Italy found this area to be possibly the most beautiful countryside I've encountered. The hills are stronger than Tuscany and the area much less developed and more agricultural. Absolutely stunning. Markets are dotted about on different days where you'll want to source your fresh fruit/veg. We particularly like the nearest town of Santa Vitoria di Mat', friendly locals and three nice cafes to watch life pass by. The cottage is BEAUTIFULLY decorated, the photos don't do it justice. It has a gorgeous eating area outside where we spent most of our time. The views are stunning. Everything you need can be found in the kitchen and of the highest quality (better than you'll find in your own kitchen). Beds are comfy, linen crisp and clean. Well cleaned beforehand, garden in great shape, lovely outdoor toilet and shower to compliment the indoor ones. Beforehand I (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)d with the host who gave me a full run down of the place and once there we were in good hands with a local friend of hers who proved to be invaluable and extremely generous with his time and energy. To summarise, if you're looking for a quiet, beautiful, well designed cottage to escape the hustle and bustle, look no further.

There's also the possibility of joining any of the organised activities arranged by the hotel - wine tasting, Montelparo tour and a visit to a local olive oil factory.

    1 review
Casa Fringuella is close to the small hilltop town of Montelparo and is surrounded by beautiful countryside with far reaching views of the mountains. The house has been lovingly restored using traditional materials and is fully equipped with quality furnishings. The pool is central to the delightful gardens and a boules court provides additional entertainment. The house is good for couples, families and groups.
In the main house there are three good sized double bedrooms (one en-suite) and 2 further bathrooms. The third bedroom has two additional beds stored under the main single beds which makes it a great room for children. Downstairs there is a large sitting room with flat screen television and DVD, games and books, and very large, well equipped kitchen/dining room. The fourth bedroom and bathroom are situated in a log cabin in the garden providing an additional twin bedroom with en-suite shower. Please be aware that this cabin is not available to rent separately from the house and it isn't attached to the house in anyway, therefore would not be suitable for young children on their own.
Casa Fringuella is situated in rural Le Marche. The local town of Montelparo has a good grocery store, delicatessen, fabulous butchers, pharmacy, a couple of bars and a hotel with restaurant. Nearby are a number of fantastic family run restaurants serving delicious, traditional food and wine. The Adriatic Coast, with its long stretch of beaches is 30 minutes away and the Sibillini National Park with wonderful walks and scenery can also be reached within 30 minutes. The lovely town of Ascoli Piceno with its stunning marble piazza is a 40 minute drive and there are many other interesting hilltop towns worth a visit within easy driving distance. Bigger supermarkets can be found in Communanza, Ortezzano and along the coast.

  • I honestly don't know where I could possibly start. I had booked this gem for 2 nights to celebrate my sister's birthday, along with 8 other friends. We genuinely had one of the most memorable weekends in recent memory and it was all thanks to this genuine slice of heaven! The house is gorgeous, both inside and out, with a picture perfect view of the countryside. You can spend hours in the infinity pool admiring the hills of the Marche region, and spend just as much time cosy-ing up in the many comfortable couches inside. I've been to many similar-looking homes for decades, but not a single one of them have been renovated and refurbished to the level of this villa. The entire place was spotless, modern, equipped with all the amenities one could possibly ask for (the 2 minute dish-washer is a god-send for a group of 10!), and the beds were extremely comfortable - not to mention the large en-suite bathrooms. The area is secluded enough to comfortably play music to get the perfect pool-party atmosphere going (hope we weren't too loud Peppe!). But honestly above all else, the hosts are some of the loveliest hosts i've ever met. Kim was so helpful and welcoming in the weeks leading up to our trip - responding so quickly to every query, and then Peppe was just so lovely throughout our trip! Kind, warm and an absolute gentleman. They even provided us with fruit and a bottle of wine on our last night which was so very much appreciated! We would all love to come back just to have hosts as amazing as Kim and Peppe again - and come back again we will! I can't recommend this place enough! Thanks again Kim and Peppe!

Between the sea and the Sibillini Mountains, in the hills, in one of the most picturesque valleys of the Piceno. Land put in vines and olive trees, fruit trees and fields of wheat and sunflowers all around. The country harvested around the foot of the hexagonal tower, there for over a thousand years. The seasons are marked by nature, before it from the calendar, and the silence is a voice of sottofondo.Gli other villages like cardinal points that keeps the look together. It 's still an innocent country, Monteleone di Fermo.
The house overlooks the small square. Two inputs side by side, the first room full of books to read, listen to music, or stop to talk with neighbors. More than big lounge, the kitchen along the entire wall, with the Parisian tired of the early twentieth century, lit the winter for a soup. On the opposite side of the fireplace. And the two windows open on the countryside below, before the hills, the mountains in the background. A few steps lead upstairs. A large double bedroom with windows on the square and the bathroom on the side. Another past the hall, and another, before the other bathroom. An alley to the side door entrance to the cellar and basically that's the woodshed, with other books and piano. A glass door and over the balcony to stop and watch the sunsets, before dining outdoors, with countries around twinkling lights and stars above you would touch them.

RONDINE is a charming apartment for 2 with high beamed ceilings & parquet floors on the 1st floor of the Villa with a private entrance, large sun terrace & beautiful pool. Between the National Park & coast with open views of the Sibillini Mountains.
There are two luxury apartments at Villa Miramonti. RONDINE is our more traditional, romantic one-bedroom apartment for two people on the first floor of the Villa. Its own lovely wrought-iron staircase leads up to a large, private tiled terrace with decorative iron railings and stunning open views across the surrounding rural landscape and towards the Sibillini Mountains. For more information, search for our site at Villa Miramonti, Le Marche - Italy.
We're really glad that we're near the lovely town of Servigliano, with its shops, market and elegant piazza where we can enjoy a coffee, ice cream or an aperitivo. It's these little things that make living here so special and we never tire of the landscape and the nature that surrounds us.
  • My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Villa Miramonti. The apartment itself is modern, well-equipped and comfortable. The gardens and pool are immaculate, and the setting is truly magnificent with breathing-taking views. It is an excellent base from which to discover this beautiful part of Italy. Carolyn and Joe are fantastic hosts providing a superb service from first contact to checkout. I highly recommend this accommodation, and would like to return one day.

Other languages: English, Finnish and Russian. Set amidst the beautiful rolling hills and villages of Marche, 20 minutes from the sea (costra Adriatic) and 30 minutes from the mountain (mountains sibillini) by car, it is the ideal place to stop and those who love peace, peace and harmony. Monteleone di Fermo was built on pre-Roman existences by the Farfa Benedictines. The meaning of the words that make up the Monte-Leone name has its own history: the mountain in Latin was "mons"; lion, which can be born of legumes, or "legionis" (military force), or "leonis" (lion); in turn, these three names may derive from the prehistoric "lehum" or "legun". In the documents of Farfa and the fermane cards friars, the Lion would seem to suggest the name of the founders; it is possible that there have been several founders because the settlement was scattered in various districts and localities. Perched on the spur of the Ete Vivo and the stream Lubrico, Monteleone di Fermo then enters history with the presence of Farfensi and becomes common in the Middle Ages. Still boasts the remains of the castle walls and the residential complex has a medieval flavor aspects unchanged. The Town Hall has recently completely restored; of particular interest is the Torre to irregular hexagon, already a central element of the ancient Castle Tower Casole together at the court of the X-XI century. S. Maroto today in the parish church dedicated to St. Maron. In a document dating from around 1264-67, the feud is in possession of the lords of Clarmonte, who ceded their rights on the Castello di Casole in City of Montelparo. Since 1251 Monteleone is however as a castle of Fermo. Today Monteleone and the whole territory is known for its high standard of living and quality of life that exudes from the first visit: mild climate, fresh air, clean water, and green trees in every corner, peace and serenity are at home. In short, the ideal and perfect place for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle.
Host consigliatissimo!

A holiday in total peace and silence, in a place of charm and with the incomparable view of scenarios. URBAN is building in the heart of the historical center of Monte San Martino (Marche, Italy), was built in the Renaissance (1459). Private renting is the second floor, the mezzanine (the attic). Restored in 2005, is the sleeping area with three bedrooms, two bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a further double room with a bathroom. The living area includes a kitchen (equipped with all appliances, from dishwashers to microwaves), the dining room, living room (satellite TV, wireless Internet, Stereo, Fireplace) and sun terrace (garden furniture, sun protection ). A total of 200 square meters from the breathtaking views, unobstructed, in every direction, from the Sibillini Mountains to the Adriatic Sea. The environment is one of the sweet Marche hills, with villages perched on top of those with the best exposure and the countryside, tidy and organized, down to the narrow valleys, with the Adriatic Sea to the east and west of the mountain chain Sibillini. Monte San Martino occupies the summit of one of these myriad hills. It 'a village of Roman origin from the plant intact medieval architecture. Every village, every town of the area is rich with history. In every corner, unexpectedly, an amazing glimpse, a country church with frescoes, a restaurant by cuisine and wines second to none. A peculiarity of Palazzo Urbani is to be nearly equidistant in terms of journey times, from the beaches of the Adriatic Sea with its sandy beaches, as well as from the Sibillini National Park or cities of art like Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata. All reachable in 30-40 minutes. You can then decide to spend time in quiet and bright interior of the Mezzanine to read a book or simply sunbathe on the terrace, away from any prying eyes. Or, in 35 minutes, be quiet, elegant beach of Porto San Giorgio, or decide for a hike on the largest of Castelluccio in Monti Sibillini National Park, an evening in the opera program Sferisterio of Macerata, the drink the historic "Coffee Meletti" of Ascoli Piceno. Or just want to discover the Marche, a region demure and beautiful. A veritable museum spread, open interest and sensitivity of all. Then return in the evening in quiet and safe walls of the Mezzanine and dinner, maybe by candlelight, in its terrace and enjoy the colors of sunsets and different each time discovering another way to live, so ancient and so new.
  • The best place we have ever stayed. A wonderful apartment beautifully restored in this ancient Palazzo. Spectacular 360 degree views. A glorious sunny terrace for dining and relaxing. Quiet and wonderfully peaceful in a small village with two bars, a restaurant and a general store and a bread shop. Monte San Martino is ideally placed for exploring the lovely Marche area. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. We Loved staying here and hope to return.

Architect owners lovingly restored this villa to a high standard. Situated on the edge of a beautiful medieval hill town, walk to the piazza surrounded by a cafe, bar, bakery, a family-run market/deli, and a prize-winning restaurant in 5 minutes. NOTE: Additional cleaning service will be scheduled in between the 2 week stay. Additional cleaning fee will be charged to the guest.
A magnificent view from a remodeled house in a medieval village, situated near hiking in the mountains or taking the family to the beach.
Monte San Martino is a village of 850 people, who are extremely helpful and welcoming to our guests. The beautiful village has its historic integrity. A small park with children's play equipment, ice cream in summer, an excellent family run restaurant and bar on the piazza, a store with a deli and a pharmacy, all within five minutes walk from the house.
  • This villa is incredibly stylish and very comfortable. It's huge! The views are unbelievably beautiful. There are 3 sitting rooms, which we made good use of because the weather was so hot that we couldn't go outside during the middle of the day. We read on the sofas, (there's a really good choice of books and maps) and the kids played loads of chess and watched yt as the wifi is good. The pool is long enough to swim lengths in, and there's a BBQ with a long table. We ate at the local restaurant on our last night, (my nettle tagliatelle was one of my favourite meals in Italy). It's a great place to discover Le Marche, it feels warm and welcoming and homely.

  • We had a fantastic two weeks at Sharon's villa in MSM. The views from all outward facing windows in the villa are breathtaking and we never tired of them. The pool was lovely and enjoyed by all of us, and especially our children/teenagers. The villa is very spacious, which meant that as two families holidaying together there were choices about where to gather to play games, listen to music or allow someone to just read quietly. The house is well equipped - WiFi available in a number of rooms (important to our teenagers!), a TV and video player (we enjoyed catching up on some memorable musicals), dishwasher, washing machine and drier, sound system with a big selection of CD's, and then books and board games. We loved the look of the villa, the decor and particularly the outdoor terrace and BBQ area. It was lovely to have a choice of where to enjoy meals together and, of course, the weather was wonderful and allowed us to enjoy the garden and pool fully. Our communication with Sharon before our trip was very positive and helpful. She gave us lots of helpful information about markets and the village itself. The property manager, Mike was amazing - came by to check we were doing well, and offer advice about restaurants, markets, routes and local festivals and events. We felt very secure knowing that he would be available if we called. Monte San Martino is a beautiful village with great views from almost every vantage point. Local folk are friendly and we enjoyed a meal at Dei Priori (in the square) and a few coffees at the little coffee bar down the road. The grocery store is small but well-stocked, and the pharmacy proved handy. Nearby Servigliano has bigger supermarkets and a great gelato/bar. We enjoyed visiting Porto San Giorgio (beach), Lake Fiastra, Macerata, Tolentino, and Sarnano (really lovely). We only visited the beach once because being at the house with the pool was so relaxing and we loved being there. This is a wonderful villa and we highly recommend its charms. Thank you very, very much.

  • Our stay in Monte San Martino was very pleasant. The house is really special, with beautiful decoration, breath-taking views and a very special location. We were a group of twelve (two families and a couple) and everyone was able to spleep comfortably. The house does need more upkeeping in terms of cleaning the pool and some areas like the kitchen and the bathrooms. Overall, the house is outstanding and our experience very positive.

  • We were looking for an interesting (and new for us) location in Italy to spend time with friends and family to celebrate some significant birthdays, as well as have a relaxing holiday. This property did not disappoint! We were unprepared for the view and spent at least some part of the day just looking. The pool was a definite bonus - it was hot but being able to wallow (or do some lengths) at least once a day either looking up at the beautiful house or out across the landscape was fabulous. The town was lovely and had more to it than we expected. Bakery, art gallery, bars, football matches, restaurant, supermarket - everyone friendly and prepared to put up with our blundering Italian. If we had not gone anywhere else we would have been content but ...... there were other highlights. Ascoli Piceno - could have spent more than one day, Amandola - great market (and for any fly fishermen out there, a beautiful river and brown trout), Servigliano - such a surprise I'm not going to say any more!, Lago di Fiastro - go the long route! and take walking shoes, Lago di San Rufino - a shame we couldn't hire boats but had the best lunch at the Vecchio Moro (and some great fishing too!), oh and all the other hill top towns with hidden gems, views and restaurants. Our party ranged across the generations from 13 to 80 and all were happy. Plenty of space, wifi a bonus for the teenagers, proper kitchen for the cooks, and the view for those with nothing to do!

  • It's hard to know where to begin in reviewing our stay at this incredible home, in this magical hilltop village hosted by such genuinely lovely people. The photographs and description raised our expectations but I can honestly say that the reality is even better. Our dealings with Sharon before we arrived gave us a sense of the warm person that she is and her artistic, caring personality is evident in 1001 subtle details throughout the home. We drove up the winding road to Monte San Martino, stopping frequently to stare in wonder at the patchwork quilt-like hills of Le Marche stretching out below us, backed by the towering, ragged Sibillini peaks. We had arranged to meet Sharon's agent, Mike, in the historic piazza that would become a scene of so many fond memories over the coming days. He turned out to be a truly lovely guy who couldn't do enough to make us welcome and advise us on where to go and what to see in this unspoilt region of fascinating hilltop towns, mouth watering foods and first rate local wines. This information was augmented by a really useful house-book at the property and contact from Sharon telling us about the various markets that take place on a daily basis in the various villages and towns. We went to a different place every day and still didn't come close to seeing even a small part of what was available. But let me talk about the house! I can quite honestly say that this is the most wonderful place I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. It ticks absolutely all of the boxes. The house itself is vast but each room has been decorated with taste and character in sympathy with the historic nature of the place. There are a variety of communal areas where we could gather together or spend time alone with a book or online - dining room, kitchen, several living rooms, on the terrace, on the lower outdoor barbecue area or by the pool. There is every modern convenience - from good hot showers and filter water on tap to a good washing machine and a dryer. We usually frequented the downstairs living area with it's outside balcony looking, from an eagle's nest-like perspective, across an impossibly beautiful landscape where one often found oneself looking down on the swifts and swallows that add to the sense of nature that surrounds this place. Sharon has an eclectic music collection that was perfect for creating a relaxing mood. The pool is a proper length and depth where you can actually get a good swim as well as cooling down from the sun. The locals were so welcoming. By the time we left we felt like we were saying goodbye to old friends in the two bars - one with a super restaurant as well - and supermarket that provide all you need locally. We can't wait to return.

101 is a traditionally built pretty 60 sqm 2 bd ensuite modern house in the extensive grounds of a small hotel, with access to its pool, tennis courts and restaurant. The terrace has a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and local hilltop towns.
Set in the beautiful hilly rural region between Ancona and Ascoli Picena, the house is near the pretty medieval village of Montelparo. Situated 500m above sea level, it is just 25 minutes drive from the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine Mountains.
This is a great area for Italian cuisine, famous for pasta making, with some excellent restaurants and fantastic local markets. In the summer every village and town holds its own gastronomic festival, many celebrating their medieval past with elaborate costumes, processions tournaments and fireworks. Here, surrounded by the quilted tapestry of the hills, you can sunbathe by the pool, swim, play tennis or go riding. You can spend the day at the seaside, walk in the mountains or visit the many beautiful medieval villages.
  • After several days of driving around and staying in old farmhouse accommodation, it came as a real relief to stay with Paul and Jane. The house is modern, clean but entirely sympathetic with the beautiful hill top surroundings. It's located on the same site as a hotel which gives you the best of both world. You can use the hotel facilities (restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court) but also enjoy all the benefits of a self catering house. The house itself is immaculate: clean, well designed, and ideal for us as a family of four. We certainly recommend it

Consigliatissimo!!!
