Family size accommodations within easy walking distance of the beach. Very nice patio area.
William2017-05-13T00:00:00ZNice place. Quick walk to a great beach and restaurants. There are lots of beach toys to borrow and wagons to haul them in.
jim2017-04-08T00:00:00ZIt's a lovely location and easy to cycle to the local beaches. Tranquil.
Angela2017-03-25T00:00:00ZGood location, no noise, clean, a bit outdated. "Hot tub" is just a tub (does not get warm). Internet is a little bit erratic.

We had a problem with the air conditioner. It was handled very professionally and promptly by the owner. So just know if you run into any problems they will be taken care of quickly. I would recommend this house and will more than likely be going back to it.
Hunter2017-05-14T00:00:00ZThe place is perfect for any of your Pine Island needs. My friends and I came down to do some state-sanctioned scallop diving (normally not legal, but we were part of a research survey), and also took some time out to see Cayo Costa - which was gorgeous. Andrew's place is a perfect launching point for any of the the islands in the sound - captiva, sanibel, Cayo Costa, cabbage key, etc... While snorkeling around we got 20 ft from dolphins...twice. would recommend to friends anytime.
Nu2015-07-20T00:00:00ZMe and my family stayed two nights at the fisherman's paradise. The House was really lovely. Everything we needed was there. We had a great time!
Sascha 2014-04-03T00:00:00ZVery nice and clean. Great location, walking distance restaurants. Nice places to go boating. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely come back. The owner was very nice as well.
Margarita2014-10-12T00:00:00ZWhat a wonderful experience it was staying at Andrews home. The setup and special touches were exceptional. The home was immaculate and oh so comfortable. The area is a jewel. Could not have asked for more. Thank you again Andrew!
Leslie2015-11-29T00:00:00ZWe truly enjoyed our stay in St. James City and Andrew's house was comfortable, clean, and was furnished with everything we needed. Andrew answered any questions we had very quickly. We were sad to leave and hope to stay again.
Lori2017-01-01T00:00:00ZWe were frantically trying to find a place on the West Coast of Florida that we could bring our dogs to that wasn't too far from home. Hurricane Matthew was upon us and we had been evacuated in Tequesta. I requested the house not knowing if we would be accepted on such short notice. Within an hour I received an email that we were welcome and we could check in at any time. I was able to relax a little knowing we had somewhere to go. We packed up in the morning and headed out. We were delighted to see the quaint and colorful Pine Island with its brightly colored shops, restaurants and watering holes. We found the house easily and once inside determined we were safe and very well provided with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, a large, well stocked kitchen and a lovely water view. It was perfect. I sent Andrew a text to get a recommendation on restaurants, and in seconds my phone rang. It was Andrew welcoming us, expressing concern for us, letting us know that the rest of our family was welcome, if needed, and he wanted to let us know he had blocked off the next few days in case we could not return home. He gave us a list of places to go and could not have been more helpful. What a wonderful host . Matthew wobbled away from us and moved up the coast. We were lucky. We will visit Andrew's paradise again, next time for pure enjoyment.
Glenda2016-10-08T00:00:00ZI absolutely loved staying at Andrew's house. It's so peaceful and quiet there. I can't wait to go back and stay longer. The master bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I'll come back just to sleep in that bed again. Great hiking trails nearby to take my dog hiking. We grilled out steak and hotdogs so I can't attest to the restaurants in the area.

Moffat2017-03-22T00:00:00ZYou will love the location, the neighbors, the pool and everything Captiva has to offer.
William 2017-02-11T00:00:00ZOur family loved the location of this property. Though the road noise was not appealing, the short walk to the beautiful community salt water pool, and lovely boardwalk to the beach made this seem a good value. Right around the corner we found a great choice of wonderful eating establishments, a quaint grocery store with a fresh seafood market on the porch, a bike/beach equipment shop (Yolos). At the end of this same street is the Mucky Duck restaurant- so no worries about parking if you can walk a quarter mile. We met friendly locals and neighbors everywhere and especially loved RC Otters restaurant with live music offered daily.
Karen2017-02-04T00:00:00ZThe house was great. You have everything you need and the locations is just fantastic. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and the pool is even closer. Same thing with restaurants. We stayed here with our little daughter and my grand parents. Kirk is great as well and quick with response if there is something you need to ask. Highly recommended.
Carl2017-01-06T00:00:00ZLA casa esta ubicada en un lugar muy bonito. Cerca de la playa y del centro de Captiva. Tuvimos una buena estadia en el lugar. Muy recomendable!

We had a great time on Pine Island. Bob and Deanna did everything to make our stay more relaxed and enjoyable. The place is great with good space and we made great use of the kayaks and bikes.
Rob2017-04-28T00:00:00ZWe enjoyed our stay and appreciate all that Deanna and Bob did to make our visit so special. The boat ride and manatee in the canal were unexpected, wonderful surprises. Great suggestion to visit Cayo Costa State Park.
maryanna2017-04-14T00:00:00ZWhat a great place to stay! Very peaceful and quiet!
Russ2017-04-06T00:00:00ZHaving just departed from one of, if not the most, enjoyable accommodations I've ever experienced on vacation. From the moment we arrived, which was late due to baggage issues at the airport, Bob and Deanna treated us with warmth and generosity beyond anything I've known. I've traveled all over the world, often seeking more personal lodging situations. Nothing prepared me for the greeting and amenities we received. It was as if we were staying with our own loving family. At the same time, we were allowed total privacy. As for the apartment.....Wow! It was everything as advertised, and then some. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and we enjoyed every bit of it, from the screened in pool to the excellent kitchen and shower to the superb beds. I'm a former owner of two high end restaurants outside of NYC and I cooked multiple meals while there. All that I needed was close at hand. Suzann and I had five days of bliss. Please heed my words. No better accommodations for a trip can be found. Gratefully, John Larkin
Suzann2017-03-30T00:00:00ZDeanna and Bob were great hosts
Lonnie2017-03-25T00:00:00ZA true Gem!!!!!! If they don't have it there for you. Then you don't need it. Everything was clean. Beautiful. And so much fun. Bob even took us for a tour on his boat. We saw beautiful birds, ton's of fish and even a dolphin in the canal. Can't wait to go back.
michelle2017-03-11T00:00:00ZThe host Deanna & Bob were so friendly and gracious. They are on a canal and the first day we watched a dolphin swim by. I came down with my son to see some Twins games and the space was perfect. Very quiet neighborhood. Fun local bars close by. Would highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to stay in a quiet friendly area. Looking forward coming down again. Tim Minear
Tim2017-02-28T00:00:00ZThis is a great spot to enjoy the sun and quiet of Florida. The restaurants in the neighborhood are great...lots of wonderful seafood. The host is great. We felt very much at home.

Perfect place for a getaway. Everything is in this place that you need. Trailer is very clean and everything worked. Quiet neighborhood. The best part is the location for boating/fishing. A short boat ride down the canal and there is some prime fishing everywhere. We even did some night fishing in the canals as many people had dock lighhts
marc2017-04-29T00:00:00ZLaurie was very accommodating! Everything was as said and better. We rented a boat and it was very convenient to tie up at the house. Air-conditioning was powerful and kept us wonderfully cool! Hanging out in the back on the hammock was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood!

Megan2017-04-23T00:00:00ZThis condo was super clean, comfy, quiet and we loved the beachy decor! Short walk to the pool and ocean - it was perfect!
Linda2017-04-20T00:00:00ZGreat place, quaint, comfortable, good location. The condos decor is just right, bright and not overdone. plenty of room for 1-2 people maybe a family of four if you can handle 1 bathroom!
Barbara2017-04-13T00:00:00ZVery nice condo. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Nice beach decor. Had a bit of beach view. I would definitely stay here again. Great value as Sanibel came be very expensive. Thank you, Ryan for sharing your beach condo with my family. We really enjoyed our stay on Sanibel.
Carin2017-04-09T00:00:00ZAdorable unit in the heart of sainbel island. The condo was spacious for a family of 4 and offered a full kitchen and beach access we were hoping for! We had an amazing trip and look forward to booking this unit again!

Easy in, easy out. Great proximity to everything. Just what we needed for a lazy beach week.
Jesse2017-05-07T00:00:00ZGreat location over looking a canal with boats and occasional dolphins. Well equipped with everything you might need. Easy to get to.
Bill2017-04-15T00:00:00ZPaul's place was perfect for us. It is easy to get off the island from this location, but also easy to get around Sanibel from here, especially with the bikes that come with the condo. Paul was very responsive, there were no problems. We would highly recommend.
peter2017-02-07T00:00:00ZGreat stay, awesome host. Great neighbors too, we toasted in the New Year with them! Paul's place is comfy and just what you'd expect from a beach home. The bikes and kayaks really make for a great value.... we never needed to use our car on the island! Definitely will return.
Chris2017-01-10T00:00:00ZNice clean place. Paul was amazing. Any question or issue was resolved immediately. Everything was well equipped down to the last detail. The view was gorgeous from the patio. The kayaks and bikes were in great condition and we used them multiple times during our stay. You could probably rent a boat for the week and dock it outside the condo. People were friendly and helpful. The condo was quiet.
Fernando2016-12-31T00:00:00ZThe place was great. Everything as described, very clean and comfortable beds. Paul was very responsive when we contacted him, and went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. The neighbors were also something to write home about - very kind and interested in sharing what they love about Sanibel with us. Highly recommended!
Daniela2016-11-19T00:00:00ZSanibel is a dream and Paul's place was a lovely home base to experience the island. Paul himself was incredibly gracious and responsive.
Nicole2016-11-08T00:00:00ZWe loved Sanibel Island! Shells, shells and more shells! The place was just as described and Paul gave us all the information we needed for everything! We loved having the bikes and kayaks right there and not having to go rent them somewhere else was so convenient. We would liked to have been a little closer to the beach but I'm sure we would have had to pay a lot more for that convenience. It was still only a short bike ride to the beach. The pool was fantastic and usually I had it all to myself!

William2017-01-29T00:00:00ZWe truly loved staying at the condo. Great location. Loved the beach and the bike paths. My girls spent a lot of time at the pool. And it is heated to 85 degrees. There is a common sun deck at the too which we found out at the end of the trip. I will be coming back in April!
Adam2017-01-05T00:00:00ZWe (5 men) enjoyed our stay in this nice and clean apartment which is located in the beautiful Waterside Inn resort.
Matthias2016-11-19T00:00:00ZEverything was as described, the place was really nice. Close to both pool and beach. Great communication as well :)
Emilie2016-11-14T00:00:00ZThe condo was very comfortable. We loved the screened porch. We cooked several meals using the well stocked kitchen. Loved the fact we could rent bikes on site. The beach was stunning, and so close. We can't wait to return to Sanibel, and would love to stay at Lance's condo again.
Judy2016-11-06T00:00:00ZThis was a quick family get away for my Mom's 90th birthday celebration as she lives in Fort Myers and enjoys the beach and coming to Sanibel. Lance's place offered the opportunity for both, and was very relaxing. It is a clean and centrally located condominium within 2 minutes walk to the beach, and a short drive to all island restaurants. Lance was always available and communication response was quick. Check in was easy and we had use of the pool and other amenities to make our stay complete.
Douglas2016-07-31T00:00:00ZLance was a great host. Responded within hours. Condo was exactly as expected ~ clean ~ fully equipped , updated. Perfect for a girls get away. Sanibel is a quiet island ~~ Condo had beach chairs, noodles, books, T.V. and and games. 2 pools on property. Extra towels at office.
DENISE2016-06-06T00:00:00ZGreat accommodations! The condo was spotless, very comfortably furnished, and nice comfy beds too. Check-in was easy, and big plush beach towels were available to rent for $10/each for the duration of our stay. There are also plenty of lounge beach chairs that you can bring down to the beach. There are two pools. The one closer to the beach was always busy and we never used it, but we had the one right behind the condo to ourselves a few times. It was nice, very well maintained, and the surrounding courtyard is green and lush. The beach is close, maybe 4-5 minute walk from the front door. The beach was fantastic, not crowded even during Memorial Day weekend, and so many seashells! There was lots of wildlife in the water. We saw a manatee up close, a school of sting rays, and one huge ray that must have been 5' wide. Watch out for the no see ums though! The rooftop deck was closed for renovation, which was a little disappointing, but will surely be nice when it's done. All in all, a very nice place for a beach getaway!

The location is fantastic. Very short walk (maybe 1 minute) walk to the beach. The condo was clean and in good condition. There is a lanai which overlooks the pool. Overall very happy with this rental and would recommend it to others. Additionally, Marcy was very responsive to any questions we had.
Melissa2017-04-29T00:00:00ZMarcy's place was a great value for the location; literally steps to the beach! The pool at the complex was perfect and warm. It was wonderful to have all the beach and pool items at our fingertips including plenty of plush beach towels. The bike/walking path is right outside the driveway and is a terrific way to get around the island if you rent a bicycle. If you like to cook, Marcy's kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans but be sure to bring your own salt and pepper; there wasn't any. Also, be sure to shop off the island as the prices at the two markets are astronomically high! The condo has a fun island feel and is spacious compared to other places we have stayed on Sanibel. The information Marcy sent ahead of time was very helpful including things to do, restaurant tips, and overall information about the island.
Karin2017-04-21T00:00:00ZGreat spot. Great value. Mattresses in loft could use an update if adults staying up there. Well stocked.
Charlotte2017-04-08T00:00:00ZIncredibly clean accommodations, view and steps from the private pool, steps from the beach. Felt safe and my kiddos had an AMAZING time. The condo had chairs, beach towels and toys for the kids and I loved to be able to pay it forward and left some boogie boards. We definitely over packed as there was so much waiting for us, including laundry machines. I would LOVE to come back and highly recommend. (kids ages: 5 & 9) I wasn't sure there would be adequate room for my husband and I, 2 kids and a grandparent from the pictures posted, but trust me, a king size bed, a queen and a daybed up in the loft was more than enough!
Melissa2017-03-31T00:00:00ZThe host canceled this reservation 357 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Mary Ann2017-03-11T00:00:00ZThe location was simply the best.
Barbara2017-03-05T00:00:00ZGreat place to stay in Sanibel. Tremendous value. The kids loved it too. The wireless was very weak but more reason to go outside and enjoy Sanibel.
Dan2016-11-28T00:00:00ZThe location of this condo was great. Being mid island it was quick to get to amenities such as the grocery store and shopping but also not a long drive to Blind Pass and Captiva. It was mere steps from the beach but was also nice in that it had a pool. As we had young children it was great to have beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys. We stayed in the off season (late August) so the complex was quiet and we often had the pool to ourselves. The condo was nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. (Bring coffee filters- 12 cup flat bottom filters) The third bedroom is a loft with a daybed that has a trundle. Books and puzzles were nice to have. Cable and WiFi were a bonus to have. We would definitely stay here again. Good value.

+ Great location next to the beach. - The bathroom/shower was tiny so larger guys may have difficulties, but the host was very upfront about it.

Shanin2017-05-05T00:00:00ZThis place is adorable. The access to the private beach is the best!
Tera2017-04-21T00:00:00ZThis place is as advertised... It is very tiny but it was great for my wife and I for our honeymoon. It is RIGHT by the beach and close enough to good restaurants. Riding bikes was a lot of fun, and although they were not the nicest of bikes, they did the job. The staff was very accommodating and got us the things we needed "TP, trash bags, etc" in a timely manner. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom is TINY!! The shower is so small and unless you are a small person, it is a bit tricky. Great place!
Michael2017-03-28T00:00:00ZThis cottage was exactly as described. While small, it was just the right size for me for a week. Beach is steps away and never crowded....lots of space between people. Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are provided as complimentary. Great shelling on the beach and a shell washing station next to cottage! Staff during my stay were very friendly and helpful. Danielle responded very quickly to my questions during booking and in arranging for my late arrival. I would definitely stay here again.
Pam2016-10-21T00:00:00ZPlace was awesome, Cheryl & Luke are amazing people, perfect managers. Housekeepers Elise and Nikki are great too! Never more than 20 people on beach within 1/4 mile either direction. Was August 13/14/15, Sunday morning had beach to selves until 10:30am. There where kids under 12 there but where never a problem. Lots of dogs, which was great. But beach access is used by local nearby cottages too.
tom2016-08-16T00:00:00ZThis place is perfect for a private getaway while exploring Sanibel and Captiva. The staff are friendly, the room is cozy, and the beach is a quick stroll from the door. Everything else to see and do here is a short drive away. I loved my stay here, would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful time and unbelievable weather!! Kenneth was very quick to answer questions as they arose. One of my favorite things was having a kitchen that was fully stocked, even had BBQ tools. We cooked every meal during our stay!! Full size washer and dryer in the condo is also a huge plus. We spent a lot of time at the pool too, awesome!! The complex is nice and quiet, exactly what we were looking for! A short drive or bike ride and you are in the middle of it all. I would highly recommend staying here, you will not be dissapointed!! We would love to stay here again! Thank you Kenneth!!
Megan2016-12-21T00:00:00ZMy wife and I had a great stay at Ken's condo. Checking in and out was super easy! The condo had everything we needed for our week in paradise. The condo is very easily accessible and the condo grounds have nice features as well. This is a perfect place to stay for couples or families with small children. Thanks again Ken! We will be back!
Joseph2016-11-20T00:00:00ZWe were blown away by the great location, privacy of the condo and the pleasant host we had with Kenneth and the building manager that was there to offer up recommendations on best area beaches and restaurants. Kenneth was quick in replies to all our questions, especially considering the lat minute booking we made. We had an issue with the AC, but it was quickly addressed and our stay was great. We'd recommend this place and come back for another trip. Sanibel is awesome and this condo is a great launching pad.
Andrew2016-10-15T00:00:00ZI am hesitant to share such a great place! But I must be honest here as I appreciate others who do as well. I am a very active reviewer on TA. In my travels I have only recently (one year) stayed in Air BB's. Kenneths place was my fourth. Being what appears his first review.......I'm gonna give it to you good! His beautiful condo is just as described. We were a party of two. His unit is very easy to find. Just off the causeway and turn left. Unit is on second floor and near entrance to the community. The view from front door is so pretty. It is on the canal side of main property. Furnishings are all "beachy" as expected for where you are. Kitchen is stocked very well with plenty of dishes, small appliances, linens, and grill tools. He even provides soap for your first few loads of dishes. Yes the grills are very close by and are high quality. The King bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of hangers in the large walk in closet and extra pillows and blankets. The bathroom is a bit on the small side but perfect for two. Washer and dryer are always nice to have and Kenneth again provides soap for your first few loads..... AC works great. Internet and cable TV too. This was perfect for us after a day of exploring the island and surrounding areas. We grocery shopped prior to arriving and enjoyed sunsets, grilling and dining in a nice, cool condo. The pool was very welcoming too after long days out. We never met you Kenneth, but you were very helpful with reserving and answering questions up front. Thanks for sharing your Sanibel home!!!!! We hope to return next year! Lois and Robert

We loved the quiet, tropical garden, and comfortable beds... Pine Island is a great quiet getaway with restaurants on the water front, ferry ride to Costa Caya was an amazing journey into beautiful unspoiled beaches. Bike riding, nature preserves, kayaking, fishing, plenty to do for nature lovers!
David2017-04-16T00:00:00ZLoved my time here. Super relaxing, green paradise on a very calm island.
Emily2017-04-13T00:00:00ZWe were not bothered by anything at anytime. Exactly what we were looking for. A safe and peaceful place. Many chickens and bunnies that my daughter loved to look at. We had a small cozy barbecue in the porch and it was very peaceful. Easy and spacious to park my truck which is always an amazing feeling. Super comfortable beds, large and well decorated. Thanks Lisa for a good weekend.
Nara2017-03-26T00:00:00ZBasic, very clean accommodations in a beautiful natural setting. The beds are big and comfortable. Pine Island is charming, but a bit off the beaten path. We were in Florida for Spring Training and it was a very easy (less than an hour) trip to Fort Meyers. Lisa is awesome--personable, genuine and wholly hospitable. We chatted with her on her front porch and met Baby Doll, a sweet, docile turcke. The chickens and turkeys made the stay all that much more fun. I hope to come back next year.
Eden2017-03-20T00:00:00ZLisa's place could win an award for most comfy beds. It was perfect. Super clean, great temperature control. Lisa is so thoughtful and answered my many questions about transportation, camping stove fuel, chickens, and other topics related to my trip. She really enjoys being a hostess and it shows. She left us a fridge full of cold drinking water, pastry for breakfast, and had a nice selection of tea and coffee. We could only stay one night but would gladly go back. Thank you Lisa!
margaret2017-03-19T00:00:00ZWhat a wonderful place to stay. Both beds are huge. Lisa had pastries and cold water waiting for us, amazing. Really clean. Washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Really close to great restaurants. I hope to come back and stay longer some day.
Lee2017-03-18T00:00:00ZRealize that you are not exactly in the center of the "action". Plenty of peace and quiet. Plan on driving to any diversions. The island has some interesting areas but figure an hour to the airport, Sanabell, etc. The bed we used was fine. Great shower. The space would be a bit crowded if you have 4 adults. No kitchen but the fridge and micro give you options. You'll be amazed by Lisa's "garden". We had no problems and would consider returning if we returned
Bob2017-03-14T00:00:00ZOur stay at Lisa's was great! The property is beautiful and gave us a good jumping off point to explore the area for a couple days.

Fantastic place for our family vacation with a two year old. Very close to the beach and the property has all the accomodations one may think of, including all you need at the beach. We had a question about the wifi and the hosts responded immediately and addressed the issue. The area of the island is also not swarming with tourists, which is a huge plus.
Sergei2017-04-12T00:00:00ZWe loved this cottage home! It offered the 3 of us a private, quiet place to stay with beach access close by. We loved the bikes as well! Would definitely want to return.
Todd2016-12-31T00:00:00ZThis was such a find on Sanibel! It is one of the old historic cottages, and very few are left. It helped me find the "real" Sanibel experience I was seeking. I stayed almost 2 weeks and everything I needed was there! I had a couple of maintenance items that needed taken care of, and the hosts sent a handyman right away! I enjoyed the bicycles, the large private backyard, the beach chairs, and everything inside! Wifi worked beautifully, and the atmosphere is such fantastic (if you want a cozy feel). If you want brand new appliances and kitchenware, go somewhere else. This is an authentic cottage experience. The knives had a bit to be desired but they worked for me. The bed was very comfortable and while the shower was small, it had a nice spray. The location can't be beat. I'm hoping to return!
Stacia2016-12-20T00:00:00ZWhat a wonderful place to stay we were close to the beach and the bikes and the coolers were a great touch!! There was plenty of the necessities as well. We had a wonderful time but; of course, it is never long enough! You guys did a great job with the decorating and the cooking and kitchen supplies. With the information you left we were able to catch the trash man and recycle as well as the yard waste pick up. John and I felt right at home and had plenty of extras. Loved having the books and loved the comfy decor...... Right at Home!!! Thanks and I am sure we will be back!!

We had a fantastic trip to Sanibel Island, Florida and enjoyed the use of your condo! Clean place and it felt like being at home. The resort, beaches and over Island life was fabulous! We had many meals around the island and Fort Myers and Tops was the Island Cow, next best was cooking out on the gas grills at the resort! We look forward to scheduling another trip to Sanibel Island! Many Thanks, Troy & Jody
Troy2017-05-12T00:00:00ZGreat place! Great hosts! Great location! We loved this cozy condo! Everything was as advertised and Art (host) made the whole experience so pain free. Thanks for everything!
Brice2017-04-15T00:00:00ZNice place! Excellent communication with owner.
Emily2017-01-18T00:00:00ZThe facility in question, A Little Bit of Paradise on Sanibel, was every bit as advertised, which, in this case, is a very good thing. The owner was conversant, helpful, and extremely efficient in making our access to his property comfortable and seamless. The property itself, on the second floor, is part of the Sundial Resort, located directly on the beach, north of the Sanibel Lighthouse and south of Tarpon Bay Road. It's a great location, quite central to Sanibel's attractions, which are legion. Whether you have previously been to Sanibel (I had been dozens of times in the past) or are simply considering it as a new destination, this is an excellent location to resume or begin your exploration of the island and its neighboring islands.
Lynn2017-01-02T00:00:00Zthank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful condo! we had such a fun week!
Jillian2016-12-23T00:00:00ZArt provided substantial communication prior to arrival, including suggestions and literature on Sanibel Island and all that it offers (which could fill a volume of books). He let me know everything I needed and answered my questions promptly when I had them. My wife and I had more fun than I could write about in a few hundred words. Sundial is a great place to stay - if you don't want to leave the area you probably wouldnt have to. It has a small grocery store (a smaller versoion of a store which has been on Sanibel for something like 100 years - try the sour cream donuts). The resort also offers a pizza place, a sit-down restaurant with a variety of menu items, a tiki bar, and a few other things that we didn't even have time to try. Sanibel Island, and Art's place in particular, is about as good as it gets for an island getaway - great for families and casual vacationers alike. There are just as many hidden gems peppered throughout the island as there are popular tourist spots. (The lounge and live music at the Jacaranda is a perfect way to end the day - and make sure to order the conch fritters).
Joe2016-09-25T00:00:00ZArt's place was the perfect getaway for a couple. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
Maureen2016-08-19T00:00:00ZGreat place. Would stay again.
