We live in an 1895 Victorian top flat with 12 foot ceilings on the best block in San Francisco. Our calendar is always up to date. Location Location Location~ Our home is close to the Mission, Lower Haight, and 2.5 blocks from the Castro theater. The underground is 3 blocks away, with a street car even closer. The room is small and cosy, but a great price for one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the US! Please fill out your profile if you are interested~and make sure to arrange a time to meet prior to your arrival, I lead a busy lifestyle, work full time, and wouldn't want to miss anyone! Check in is at 5 and we are 37 steps up from street level. Please go light on perfume and cologne - we are allergic. Restaurants are plentiful and beautiful Dolores Park is quite close. Your room has a twin day bed 75 inches long with a desk and a solid door. The room is 9.25 feet by 8 feet. Amenities include wireless and a gorgeous full kitchen. For all you foodies out there BiRite Creamery, Tartine, Delfina's Pizza and Proper are within 4.5 blocks of our front door. Michelin rated Range is just a few farther. As much as we love bikes, and we do, we don't have space for storage. If you rent one please return it at the end of the day or lock up on the street at your own risk. Please ask if you would like to have a friend for a short visit.
  • Really enjoyed my stay at Brenda's home. Was very beautiful and clean, and very well situated near the Muni. Will definitely stay here again, assuming there are ever any open spots!

  • I would highly recommend Brenda's cozy room. It is very comfortable, and Brenda gladly shares the amenities of her beautiful apartment, should you wish to cook or watch television. She is charming, and her dog and cat made me feel right at home.

    Emily2011-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Brenda made me feel so welcome to her beautiful home. She offer me a glass of water first thing which was so needed during an unseasonably hot day. The room and bed was comfortable and close to public transportation. Brenda was also very generous in offering to drive me to my car rental of my final morning. i would recommend staying at her place.

  • Staying with Brenda has made me a permanent Airbnb convert--the experience was tremendous. First off, the basics--perfectly located between the Castro and Mission and less than 5 minutes from public transportation; a beautiful, cozy, light filled space, tastefully decorated; and a very comfortable bed. But more importantly, the experience--Brenda is incredible, funny, witty, and very open minded. Exceptionally hospitable, she anticipated all my needs...I was under the weather one day and she insisted on getting me something from the pharmacy. Another night, she had friends over to dinner and insisted I join. I felt like a SF native by the end of my trip! Brenda's truly felt like a home away from home and I look forward to staying with her next time I'm in SF!

  • Everything is perfect. I spent a month in the Brenda’s home, and it was the best choice. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, full of art decorated. The room is great with a super comfy bed, I sleep very well, no noise in the street. The location is a great place to stay with plenty of great bars, parks, clubs, restaurants and good food, good night life for dance, concert, theater. It is close to many public transportation (the BART line is excellent for transport to and from the airport and city centre) and the house is also located in a safe and convenient neighborhood. Brenda e Serena are wonderful: welcoming, helpful, easygoing incredibly kind, helpful and warm. They made me feel right at home, and for me it was like being in a family. I strongly recommend staying with Brenda. I Hope to meet Brenda e Serena again next time in SF. if you want to book in SF, this is the place. Thank so much and I miss you. Ps. Ah yes…you can not fall in love with Boo and Moo, dog and cat so sweet

  • This was my very first airbnb experience. And I was expecting the worst to begin with. The first night indeed didn't turn out so good as I was very cold and could not sleep because of it. But the next day when the hostess asked how my night was and I told her I felt a bit cold, she made sure the heat was turned up the next night and I slept quite well. The room itself is quite small, painted orange, a library converted to bedroom with books and a huge ladder. The experience of being surrounded by so many books was quite good actually. Although the bed was smaller than I would have liked. The hostess is friendly, unintrusive and reasonably helpful. And she actually took efforts to get my name pronunciation right. My body was 4 hours ahead of SFO coming from Canadian Atlantic which helped me follow the rule of not using the bathroom between 6:30-7:15. Overall a good stay, though I initially didnt know how to take this intermediate between a hotel and house stay with the constant awkwardness of being in a strangers home and with me turning the key the wrong way the first day with my passport, laptop and documents in the house giving myself and am sure Brenda a mini heart attack. She was gracious consoling and comforting about this too. The most interesting though is the cat, it never sleeps. And sure wants to be rubbed constantly meowing and rubbing its body around u when u walk by. The dog is adorable though not amenable to patting. Location is perfect. The Bart station is very close by. She has a lot of maps laid out and guide books to help one travel through the city.

  • I had a wonderful time at Brenda's place! She is extremely welcoming, helpful and open. Her house is charming and very well located to the town's hot spots. I could not have wished for a better place. I would recommend her to anyone staying in San Francisco and I would be delighted to meet her again in Europe soon.

  • Mike and Nic are very nice. It was very easy to coordinate with them our stay. When we arrived to the apartment they gave us lots of maps and guidelines to plan our trip in San Francisco. The place is really wonderful and so confortable that we actually felt like we were at home. It is located in a quiet area which also has markets, coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

    Josefina2012-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was in a great location, close to Cortland Ave. and shops and restaurants. The studio was comfortable and roomy. The furniture was old but certainly usable and enough for storage, etc. The kitchen had all of the necessary items. The adjacent parking was free and very much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

    Kevin2013-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mike and Nic had some little treats waiting for us and they were very helpful with giving us ideas of places to go and things to see in the area! The listing details were spot-on, including the photos!

    Amy2016-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Grand and Cozy! Great neighborhood and perfect location for getting around. We had a great time! Apartment was clean and comfortable.

    Stevie2013-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was wonderful! Mike and Nic made the check in and out very easy. They were so kind with their flexibility of our schedules. The place was cute, clean, and quiet. There is a beautiful park near by that you can hike up to the top of and see the entire city. Everything was perfect. We will definitely request to stay here our next trip to SF!

    Tracey2014-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for 5 nights as a business traveler attending a conference. Everything was excellent and as advertised. Easy commute downtown using 67 and BART. Check-in was smooth and communication with Mike & Nic was great. I had a rental car and parking was no problem on the street. Cortland St is a short walk for groceries and restaurants. I tried Little Nepal, Moki's, Taco Los Altos, and Vega - all very good. I had to work every evening so appreciated the large desk and excellent WIFI connection. No hesitation recommending this studio for your stay in San Francisco.

One bedroom sanctuary with a beautiful garden view and cozy fireplace. Comes with it's own entrance just steps from bus lines, train and all that Haight Street has to offer. Complete privacy with a separate bedroom, bathroom, and breakfast bar.
If you want to be within walking distance to Golden Gate Park, Haight St, Buena Vista Park, and Cole Valley, this is the spot. Full size bed in the bedroom with 400 thread count sheets and a pull-out twin in the living room. Just installed fireplace and large screen tv makes hanging out fun in the comfortable living room. Bathroom has a shower within the tub and white fluffy towels.
You will hear from many that this is the best neighborhood in SF. I chose this area for the many Victorian homes, the ease of mass transit, the walkability, and the abundance of parks, restaurants, and nightlife nearby. As a recent transplant to this area I can tell you that the stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs are great here. I forget I have a car most of the time! Street parking is easy except for Wednesday 8-10 due to street cleaning.
  • Sara was a wonderful host, her appartment well-prepared, charming and cosy. We enjoyed our stay highly, including the most interesting neighbourhood at corner Masonic and Haight. Sara's place is a perfect place for a San Francisco trip. Very recommended!

    Wolfgang2014-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time staying at Sara's apartment. It was a beautifully decorated, comfortable, relaxing retreat which was a delight to return to after long days exploring San Francisco. The neighbourhood was safe and exiting to explore and public transport was seconds away. Sara was great to communicate with and highly accommodating with our check in & out times. I would highly recommend her apartment to anyone visiting SF.

    Marie2015-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Sara was very helpful both in helping me get settled and in dealing with a problem that my daughter had, in spite of it being fairly late when this arose. To me the photos made it look bigger than it is so it was adequate but not exactly roomy. I didn't really focus on the fact that there was a toaster oven not a microwave so the ability to cook anything was more limited than I was expecting.

    naomi2015-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed in Sara's flat the night before my wedding and couldn't have asked for a better place. The space is exactly as pictured, great energy, beautifully decorated, contemporary rustic, plenty of natural light flooding the space. Living rooms is super cozy with the fireplace. Space was immaculate, bed was warm and comfy. No kitchen, but there's a coffee maker, mini fridge and toaster. Sarah left some milk, OJ and beer which was a nice welcoming touch. Walking distance to downtown Cole Valley where you can find some nice restaurants and bars. Even a cheese shop if you want to bring wine & cheese to enjoy back at the pad. About a 10-15 min walk to Golden Gate park. If you're lucky, Sara's dog Boo might wander down to keep you company. He's the sweetest ever. He hung out with me and lounged outside peacefully while i was getting make-up done. Definitely a highlight of my morning. Only thing was wifi was a little patchy in the living space, but better in the bedroom. Ultimately a wonderful stay and would LOVE to come back. Thanks Sara!!

    Doris 2014-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sara was very accommodating. She was up to greet us before 7am when we flew in from Hawaii on an overnight flight. She allowed us into the apartment early so we could catch up on sleep before setting off the explore the city in the afternoon. She offered help and advice and was available when we needed her.

    Mary2016-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very pleasant switch from our usual choice of a Union Square hotel when we visit SF. Close to the park and only a block away from Haight St. shops and restaurants. Two bonuses: a sweet little garden and blissful quiet at night. I slept more soundly and later than I do at home. Stayed local and used Sara's recommendations for dinner both nights: Zazies (French) and Bambino's (Italian), both walkable or a $6 Uber ride.

    Steve2017-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED Sara's home. It was simply wonderful! We had a few hiccups with the coffee maker and the fireplace, (Operator error;) and Sara and her daughter Sydney were so kind and attentive. We had so much fun in the neighborhood, exploring the park, going for coffees and drinks, and just generally soaking in the good energy of SF. I slept on the pull out bed and it was SO COZY. really really comfy and 2 people who are not a couple can easily stay here. Thank you Sara!

    Amanda2015-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Sara was an absolutely fantastic host. She was very knowledgable and welcoming. She couldn't have been a nicer host and was present when we needed her but otherwise gave us complete privacy. The apartment was exactly what we needed. It was spacious and cozy with a lovely fireplace. Sara stocked it with some goodies which was much appreciated after a long flight. Location couldn't be better. Close to the Main Street with everything you'd need but far enough away that it was really quiet and peaceful. I stayed with my baby and felt safe the whole time.

Private entry, quiet, first floor suite with artful touches in 1911 Edwardian. Close to beaches, GGate Park, GGate Bridge, groceries, cafes, restaurants on city-wide trolly line for memorable vacation/business/retreat. Easy drive to Marin.
The private first floor, sidewalk level suite, is clean, comfortable and quiet with original windows and doors providing natural light and fresh air. It's San Francisco living, so you can be sure to hear the sounds of a trolley passing by and footsteps from the flat above. SF STR permit number (4 zeroes) 949
We live in a friendly neighborhood with cafes and restaurants, and are perfectly situated to walk or take local transportation to nearby visit museums. Step out the yellow door and there are walks through wooded trails to Baker Beach, the Golden Gate Bridge, Land's End, and Ocean Beach -- to the Legion of Honor Museum in Lincoln Park, the DeYoung Museum and/or the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, with its lakes and beautiful gardens of the Arboretum. If you prefer to sidewalk explore, it's fun to walk down Clement Street from 25th Avenue to Arguello, stopping in at the pubs and Chinese restaurants (little Chinatown) -- head a bit further to Fillmore Street, or take the full journey on the California 1 trolley (electric bus) - 7 miles to the Ferry Building (about a 2 hour walk) through the distinctly different neighborhoods that make San Francisco such a great place to visit and live. If you are looking for a movie and dinner -- Pizetta 211 and the Four Star Theater are just around the corner. There's something for everyone.
  • My partner and I absolutely loved Dennis and Nancy's little holiday hideaway! The studio is very private, and beautifully maintained. There are so many little details to the space that make it cost and inviting, for example, the bed warmer, the collection of San Fransisco walks and maps in the lounge room, and the umbrellas for when you are out and about. Location is excellent, and it's very easy to get around. Nancy and Dennis are lovely, and make sure you have your privacy. We will definitely be returning- our favourite Airbnb of our entire trip!

    Lauren2016-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Before we arrived, Dennis sent us instructions on where the apartment was and how to get in. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in the Richmond District. Perfect if you are exploring the Presidio Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, Baker Beach. It's a bit far to downtown, but an Uber will get you there without any hassle. Busses also run past the apartment, but if going downtown, it's gonna take you a while. The apartment is very cozy and nice decorated. It is in the basement, so the ceiling is low and you can hear people walking upstairs. But this didn't bother us. The bed was comfortable, but watch out for the bedframe, it will give you bruises if you're not careful going past the bed! We followed up on one of their suggestions on where to eat, and it was great(Pizetta 211)! Internet is okay, was a bit slow. We are very happy with our stay here, and would come back! Thanks!

    Cathrine2016-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • The appartment was really clean. We found a parking place quite easily around the block. The neighbourhood is nice and not so touristic. Please note that there is no TV in this appartment. Moreover the ceiling is pretty low (it's on street level), so it gives a cottage like impression. There was a heater to warm up the appartement, that you could use in the bed or living room, or cool down during warmer weathers. And there was a hairdryer! Btw a must breakfast/lunch place is just nexdoors!

    Julien2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The location was perfect for us. Dennis was a great host, everyone we met was really friendly. The area seems very safe, the place was the right size for us and very clean. There are a quite a few good eating places nearby. We liked the fact the place was cool due to being at basement level. We walked most places but SF is well served by public transport (#1 bus stops almost outside) and car services like Lyft are great. Down at the piers there are people giving out discount cards to use on Lyft....

    Margaret2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • The place was really lovely and quaint. Felt very homey and had many touches around the place.

    Natalie2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic stay in phenomenal SF neighborhood near beaches, parks, and some of the best hiking trails in the city. The apartment is emmaculate and well-designed with great attention to detail. Look forward to the next vist!

    Peter2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • It was an absolute pleasure staying at Dennis and Nancy's studio basement. This was our first visit to San Francisco and they were both so accommodating, giving us helpful tips of the area. We felt very welcome as soon as we met them. The basement was cosy, well decorated, plenty of character, clean and well equipped for small meals like breakfast. Being down below in the basement you can hear some pitta patter of feet above, but it didn't seem to bother us, by the time it was bed time everyone was quiet. We will be back again for sure thanks again for a wonderful experience

    Lisa 2015-11-27T00:00:00Z

  • Jeffrey and Michael were amazing hosts -- I felt so comfortable and welcome in their home, which is GORGEOUS by the way. I can't wait to stay here again in the future and tell my friends about this hidden gem as well. The room was huge and super clean. The bed was sooooo comfy, which is really important to me while traveling. Thanks, you guys!

  • My brief stay with Jeff and Mike was wonderful. They were very friendly and extremely responsive to messages during my stay. They let me check in early due to my early flight. They also reminded me that there was a parade going on in Chinatown on the day I arrived, which was very nice and attentive of them. The location of the listing is fantastic. It's right by fillmore street, which is quite busy during the day. There are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, stores and etc. nearby. And it's a very quiet neighbourhood at night. It's about a 30 min. walk from downtown which is great for people that likes to explore the city on foot. The room was fantastic, basically like a 5-star hotel room. Very clean and spacious with very high ceilings.

  • This was our first time traveling to San Fran and this listing was great! Walking distance to the marina district, and great food all within a couple blocks. Jeff was very helpful and considerate and allowed us to drop our bags off before check in and to leave them after check out which made our time in San Fran even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this listing and would stay here again.

  • Brilliant place to stay, would highly recommend. Immaculate, stylish and located in a great neighbourhood, perfect for our first visit to San Francisco and the USA. Both Jeff and Mike were very welcoming and helpful, there were lots of little extras in the room which were much appreciated, we would love to return in the future!

  • We absolutely loved Blair's lovely place! Location was perfect for the wedding event we hosted, and the communication with the hostess was consistent, prompt and helpful. The neighborhood was as stated, safe, and beyond, ritzy! We highly recommend this space. We managed to find parking spaces and a nice grocery was within walking distance. Thanks Blair(URL HIDDEN)

  • Blair's place is AMAZING!!! She is very easy to communicate with which made the entire trip a very pleasant experience. The location of the condo is perfect! We were able to see how the locals live. Close to Union and Chestnut Streets. Blair's condo is beautiful and very clean. There is a balcony off of the living area. A great place for a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. On my next trip to San Francisco I would love to stay at Blair's place again! Cheryl and Robert

    Cheryl2015-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I absolutely loved staying at Blair's listing. It is located on a nice quiet street which we appreciated because it was a nice place to retreat to after a long day of sightseeing in the city. The apartment itself was beautiful and we loved all the windows. One of the reasons we love doing airbnb is that we get to save some money and cook meals for ourselves and eating meals at the table surrounded by the big bay windows was a great way to start our days in San Francisco. Overall, we loved our stay in San Francisco and a big part of that was because we loved staying at Blair's listing.

    Ben2014-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • I love Blair's apartment! It's really nice and perfectly located -close to Fillmore street filled with cute shops and cafe! The amenities were really great specifically the bed is so comfortable. Kitchen is gorgeous and nicely stock with spices etc. However note there wasn't a microwave which would have been convenient to re-heat leftover food etc. Blair was easy to reach and helpful with her recommendations on places to eat and visit in SF. Only opportunity area is the absence of closet space in the apt. If you have short stay that would be fine..but for longer stay would be nice to hang clothes etc. vs. living out of a suitcase. We would definitely recommend Blair's place to friends visiting SF!

  • Blair's condo is AMAZING and even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. Great windows and light in the apartment - I especially liked eating meals in the front dining nook. The apartment is decorated to the 9's. Comfortable, chick, and welcoming. I could not say enough good things. It is the dream place to stay and the location is amazing too!

    Jill2014-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Blair sent us a welcome letter and allowed us to arrive at our convenience. I have rented many Airbnb properties before and Blair's apartment was hands down the best. Beautifully appointed as described and visually presented and the proximity to Fillmore Street couldn't be beat. For any up coming trips to San Francisco I would hope that her wonderful home will be available.

Gorgeous, modern, sunlight-soaked luxury apartment (blackout curtains and shade on bedroom windows). At the meeting point of Hayes Valley, The Mission, Lower Haight, Castro, and SoMa, you're in the middle of the best SF has to offer! New listing!
The master suite comes complete with a King size Room and Board Hudson bed with Tuft & Needle mattress, balcony patio (with love seat, ottoman, and dining table with seating for two) overlooking vibrant Market St, architect desk workstation, and en-suite full bathroom. Though this suite is best suited for two guests, it can accommodate up to four if you make use of the unit's extremely comfortable, 19" (48 cm) thick Queen size SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology (the bestselling airbed on Amazon). The unit's second bedroom, which I refer to as the guestroom to distinguish it from the master bedroom, includes a Queen size bed, floor-to-ceiling windows offering a beautiful view of vibrant Market St, and its own full, private bathroom. The space comfortably accommodates two guests, and if two people sleep on the available Queen size airbed it can even fit four. I have enough incredibly nice airbeds (I only purchase beds rated in the top 3 on everyone's favorite "Everything Store" site, Amazon) that even if you have a group of 8 people, everyone can have their own bed if they like. Please simply let me know at least a few days in advance of your arrival how many airbeds you would like in each size (Twin and Queen are available), and which area in the unit you would like each bed to be set up in. Once you have checked in you are obviously welcome to place the beds wherever you like, but when you first arrive I generally prefer to let you see the common area without any beds inflated in it. This allows you to make an informed decision about which bed arrangement would make the best use of the space there. Note: When the unit is not booked for "Entire Home" reservations, I often rent out its two bedrooms individually as "Private Room" listings on Airbnb. This "Entire Home" listing is new, so the quantity of reviews is lacking, but the "Private Room" listings (which are, in fact, for the two individual bedrooms and common areas that make up the "Entire Home" unit) have existed long enough to be reviewed by numerous guests. Accordingly, if you would like to read more reviews of my unit than are currently available in this "Entire Home" listing, please check out the many reviews on my two other listings. As you'll see in the amenities listed below, the space has been set up with the goal of providing access to everything you could possibly want to enjoy SF to the fullest. Whether you are visiting from around the globe or around the corner, your stay will offer the perfect blend of home and hotel. 1500 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets, stainless steel fixtures and appliances, and granite counter tops are just the start. Additional amenities include: - Clipper public transit card(s), used to conveniently pay fare on any of the Bay Area's public transit systems* - International power adapter/voltage converter (Travel Smart By Conair Adapter/Converter Combo with Surge Protection)* - Secure, key-access to the individual bedrooms - Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (toothpaste, lotion, sunscreen, sleep masks, and other convenience items also available upon request) - If you would like a guaranteed, convenient, and secure parking spot during your stay to avoid the unpredictable availability, 2 hour time limits, street cleaning, and security issues of street parking, I rent a space in my complex's on-site parking garage and make it available to guests for $25/night. This is below the average rate for garages in the area, and allows you to drive in and out whenever you like (this is extremely rare, and expensive, at San Francisco garages). Also, please note that the check-in/out times for parking are the same as for the listing. If you are interested in using the spot for a period longer or shorter than your reservation, this can also often be arranged as well. If you are interested in using the space before, after, or during your stay, please contact me as soon as you are able so I can check the spot's availability and provide further information. IMPORTANT: Please let me know the make and model of the car you would like to park as soon as you are able, so that I can make sure it will fit in the parking lift system. NEW: Parking is now FREE for groups of 4 or more who have booked one of the Private Room listings and groups of 6 or more who have booked the Entire Home listing. - Safeway and Whole Foods grocery stores 1 block away - Cooking utensils, glassware, flatware, dinnerware, microwave, oven, refrigerator - Dishwasher - WiFi reaching a blazing 90 Mbps download speed, 90 Mbps upload speed - In-unit washer/dryer, with detergent. Iron and ironing board! - Clothing steamer* - Multi-outlet surge protector, multiple wall power outlets - Umbrellas. You need 'em? I have 'em.* - Chrome garment rack, including hangers and hanging shelves - 24/7 Fitness Center (see pictures) - Roof Terrace and adjacent Sky Lounge (see pictures) - 60" plasma TV (in living room) - Netflix - Hulu Plus - Chromecast (using your smartphone or the guest smartphone, cast Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. to the living and bedroom room TVs) - Costco access (Members-only national chain of warehouse stores, selling groceries/electronics/consumer goods/dining and entertainment gift certificates at incredible discounts)* - Heavily discounted ski resort lift tickets for Kirkwood, Mammoth Mountain, Big Bear Mountain, Bear Valley, China Peak, Homewood Mountain, Mt. Rose (Inquire for details)* - Numerous Zipcars available for rental within a 2 block radius - Lap desk* - Your own cabinet and refrigerator space for food/beverages* - Extra bed (deluxe Queen size airbed)* - Ggl Cardboard *Indicates an amenity that is available upon request. Unless otherwise indicated, these amenities are free for the duration of your stay (Charges apply if not returned at check-out, or if damaged). Please inquire in advance for additional information, to confirm availability, and to reserve.
The neighborhood puts you at the center of what makes the city truly great. With countless only-in-SF-type bars, restaurants, and performance venues right outside, you'd have to try pretty hard not to find a good time any night of the week.
  • The place is exactly as described - a clean, luxury apartment in a convenient location. My only complaint is that there was no toilet paper when we arrived - apparently the mistake of the cleaning lady - but Jack was responsive when I reached out to him about the issue.

    Minjae (John)2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • John was really accommodating and very communicative! He even helped us with finding additional parking. His place was clean and perfect for our stay. It felt very secure and had everything we needed. The area is a lot of fun too! Highly recommend this place!

  • What an awesome experience - one of my best with Airbnb so far!!! From first contact John was incredibly helpful and friendly and made our trip that bit easier!!! We were on our way from the UK to NZ and stayed at John's amazing apartment for 4 nights to break up our trip... As we were travelling with our 15 month old daughter it was always going to be a challenging few days but John really made all the difference! He provided us with advice and handy information not to mention arranging a travel cot for us. The apartment is excellent too.... It is immaculate and just as the photos portray. Having such open spacious rooms in San Francisco is a rare find in our experience!! A brilliant stay all round - I would highly recommend John as a host and his fab apartment! Thank you for a lovely few days....

Almost dead center in the City so everything is relatively close. Having a Safeway, Walgreens and Post office 1/2 block away is very very convenient. To get a better idea of location for planning trip times look on line for the Safeway store on Diamond Height Blvd. That is 1/2 block from my place and the 52 Bus stops right there at the corner and the 35 Bus a block away.
  • We live in San Francisco and rented this lovely home for a family reunion and wedding. The space is large, easily slept 9 people with plenty of room. Loved how the kitchen area overlooked the deck, we spent much of our time in this area since most people tend to congregate in the kitchen, we had plenty of space and a beautiful view. The neighborhood is quiet, easy parking and there is a Safeway walking distance if you need anything. The house is also close to a bus line and easy to get downtown, Castro and San Francisco Airport. Bruce is very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this lovely home for your vacation or a get together with friends and family.

    Renee2016-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • Bruce's house was the perfect place for our family get away. This house is both spacious and comfy. The city views are wonderful. The beds are very comfortable. We love the walkable neighborhood and the nearby parks. Most of all, Bruce was a very thoughtful host. He made sure that we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return.

  • I have no reservation in using airbnb again or recommending them to others. It was easy to use their website to make a selection and everything was as they said, no surprises. Booking a house worked well for our group and ended up a lot cheaper than several Hotel rooms. Having our own kitchen meant we saved even more on not having to eat out for every meal. The house was well equiped, with a supermarket across the road as was the bus stop to take you to the BART train station approx a mile away (steep hill, San Francisco!) A 15 minute train ride and you are in the middle of the city. Our Host Bruce was very helpful and friendly, he even greeted us with some pastries from his Bakery. He was easily reachable and gave us useful information that helped us get around. We covered a lot of ground and it was great to get a bit of local knowledge. Overall a pleasant experience with no real negatives, I and everyone else in our group would stay there again.

    Lee2012-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday in San Francisco, using Bruce's home as our home base. Had the kids and grandson (toddler), and the house was perfect for us. We met Bruce upon arrival, and he came in and showed us the high chair, portable crib, and baby gate that he (URL HIDDEN) worked out great. I've always wanted to spend a weekend in SF, and now that we've done it, we'll definitely do it again. Bruce's spacious home is nicely decorated, clean, comfortable...exaclty what you'd expect from an airbnb experience. The view of the City from the deck is awesome...don't miss Barney's or Noe Valley bakery... all in all, a fantastic time for all of us...felt like we were home, yet on vacation...thank you Bruce...hope to see you again sometime! Oh, and we all slept quite well, especially my wife and I on the king temperpedic bed!

    Jay2014-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bruce is a wonderful person. The house was perfect for us,. We had every thing we needed, and if you need something Bruce is here to help you. We really enoyed the house which is spacious and comfortable. The view is beautiful, the patio and the garden were perfect spacially for the dog! Bruce made this trip better than it already was.

  • The home was in a very nice neighborhood and it was very spacious.

    Yaimy2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • I had the pleasure to share this house with 2 of my friend in May 2012. The owner is very kind, the pictures are reflecting the reality, the place is quiet and the area is safe. We had a great time inviting some of our friends for a BBQ, the house is fully furnished if you want to invite people for a Bbq Party. Every morning we were sploiled with pastres and bakeries. Me and my friend fully recommend this place !

    Johan2012-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay on Gold Mine Dr. We were there for 3 nights with our 3 kids, mini van and family dog. The house was a great home base in the city for us. The grocery store close by was helpful. And the home being located on a dead end street was also very nice. In such a big city, it was great to have a quiet home to come back to, where we didn't have to worry about parking.

The parking spot was really helpful. The location is great for sightseeing, buses were nearby to take you to key sights. Very safe neighbourhood. Highly recommend!

  • Lawrence was an amazing host. He was always available when we had questions, and was very helpful during our trip. The apartment was great, really close to the golden gate park. We enjoyed doing our jogging there in the morning! The apartment is very clean, and equipped with everything we needed. If you are looking for a place to stay in San Francisco, I would strongly recommend, without hesitation, Lawrence's place. You won't regret! Alex

  • Really good apartment near the Golden Gate park.

    Alex2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was very clean and very spacious! Location is exactly where you want to be. We had 8 people staying and there was more than enough space. The only issue is with only 1 full restroom available, it might take awhile for everyone to shower in the morning. But besides that, everything was as advertised, and would recommend the space to any other large groups (as long as everyone takes quick showers!) Also, it might be a good idea if one or two full length mirrors were available in one or two of the bedrooms. Thanks so much, Lawrence!

  • My uncle, aunt, and I stayed at Rose's beautiful home for a night and it was amazing. They are from Korea and have not used Airbnb much in the past so I wanted to give them the best experience as possible. And I made a perfect choice. The house has a great view of the city and the deck was fantastic even though we did not get to stay too long as it was raining. The room was spacious with a nice bed and a pull out sofa was as big as a king sized bed. It was great to meet Rose in person in the morning. Thank you and I will definitely book your place again when I have guests visiting SF!

  • Rose and Linda have a charming, well-equipped apartment with a lovely view of the city. We were very pleased with this stay. Rose and Linda are both excellent hosts, and made sure to check in to make sure we were comfortable, and to see if we needed anything. We would be delighted to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  • Rose is amazing. I wanted to use her beautiful garden for my proposal to my girlfriend. It has a great view of the city and everything to make an event special. When I arrived, a bit nervous, she made sure I had everything I needed for the upcoming event. Then she proceeded to help me set up and make the night even better than I could have on my own. She went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. I have stayed in airbnb's around the world and I can say with complete confidence that Rose is the best host I have had. Rose, thank you again for all of your (and Linda's) help. You made my special night even more special and I won't ever forget that

  • My extended family stayed in Patricia's house when they came out to visit me in San Francisco for Labor Day weekend. I live in an apartment in the same neighborhood and loved having them close by. Everyone adored Patricia's beautiful home. It's bright, spacious, clean, and has a wonderful (and enormous) back deck and patio. I didn't even know spaces like this existed in San Francisco! :) To top it all off, the house has multiple full bathrooms, numerous bedrooms, a fully functional and large kitchen, a huge dining room table, and an outdoor hot tub. We loved relaxing together in the space, cooking, watching movies, and catching up outside. Patricia's house is also extremely kid friendly! My 7, 5, and 3 year old nieces and nephew loved the games, books, backyard, water table, old school Nintendo, and California Academy of Arts and Sciences passes. Patricia is a fantastic host and her place is definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend.

  • This was my first experience booking a room through airbnb, and this property and host did not let me down. We were looking for a house in SF that could fit 8 people plus a baby. We were coming up from San Diego to celebrate my 30 birthday, and I am SO SO glad we found this place. The house was beautiful! Everything was exactly like the pictures and property details described. Location was perfect! A dream rental house! All the rooms were spacious... and that kitchen was definitely a dream kitchen! The best part about the whole experience was the host, Pepijn and his wife. They were very responsive when booking the rental -- great to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! They even brought me a beautiful cake during our visit to celebrate my birthday! VERY thoughtful! Thank you, thank you! We will be back!

  • We had an enjoyable stay! It was a welcome relief arriving to a lovely warm home late at night. The children enjoyed the spa and we loved the coffee machine as well as our own carpark! Thanks for having us.

  • The place was really everything the pictures present. Very clean and tidy, even stocked w coffee and bedside waters. The place is beautiful. I have a Victorian in the close by Haight Ashbury neighborhood but needed extra space for a large group visiting and the home felt like a full-time residence. Hosts even made sure we had cable hooked-up for visit. Hot tub was clean and wonderful extra. Both bathrooms spa-like remodels w multiple shower heads. Great location - walking distance to both Divisidero shops and restaurants as well as Panhandle and GG Parks. Hosts were overly communicative and thoughtful without being injected into the weekend. Having lived in San Francisco for almost 20 years, I searched the whole city for the perfect place and this home did not disappoint.

We're situated across from the Lincoln Park Golf Course and Playground and minutes from the Lands End hiking trails. We're the closest neighborhood to the Golden Gate Bridge. We're a 10 minute walk to Golden Gate Park and music festival venues. Ocean Beach, China Beach, and Baker Beach are all nearby, as is The Presidio. Love food? This neighborhood has some of the most diverse and reasonably priced cuisine in the entire city. One of SF's best Burmese Restaurants is next door, and award winning dim sum is blocks away. Thai, Chinese, Moroccan, Sushi and an American bar and grill are all around the corner. The Legion of Honor is up the street and the Academy of Sciences and DeYoung museums are a short drive away. The Discovery museum across the Golden Gate Bridge is perfect for kids of all ages and is just a 15 minute drive. You can be on the Golden Gate Bridge within 5 minutes and explore the North, including Sausalito, the Marin Headlands, Mt. Tamalpais and Muir woods.
  • Great place, family friendly, fast response from Todd, flexible, welcoming. Would love to stay again when I return to SF. Thank you!

  • We've stayed in the house for three days. The house is a really nice place to stay. It's clean and beautiful and very convenient. There are lots of restaurants around and CSV is just around the corner. And also, Todd is pretty nice. I will definitely come back again when I come to San Francisco.

  • We had a party of 6 traveled to San Francisco for the weekend. The house was in great condition, exactly like what was shown on the website. Todd and Tatyana were extremely nice, provided great accommodation, and we had a great experience overall. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who wishes to travel to San Francisco.

  • My family and I really enjoyed staying at Todd's lovely apartment! The place is very modern, generous and well suited for couples and families. It is perfectly equipped with cutlery and dishes and the WiFi works very quickly. Parking spots can also be found nearby. Todd recommend us several delicious restaurants and helped us to get the best out of our SF experience with his insider tips and accommodating helpfulness! We definitely recommend this place and we'll stay at the apartment next time again!

  • We loved our stay at The Real San Francisco!! Todd & Tatyana were the best hosts anyone could ask for - nothing was a bother and the local advice invaluable. The room was comfy and suited our family of 5 just fine. The location was excellent, especially if you are bringing your own car. A few minutes walk from spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge and an easy drive from downtown San Francisco or the Ocean in the other direction. We as a family always felt safe, enjoyed the local environment, and would be back here again if we get the chance. Thanks Todd & Tatyana for a great stay!

Spacious, sunny, remodeled flat full kitchen, living room, laundry, and shared patio. 3 BEDROOMS with double beds, full bathroom and kitchen. Our flat is quiet & peaceful yet in middle of all you want to see & do. Family & pet friendly! Come share our home! NB: Price varies w/ demand
We love to share our home with guests! Since we travel a lot, we know how important it is to feel at home even when in a new city, so settle in to your home away from home! Our spacious, sunny flat has 3 BEDROOMS with double beds, full bathroom and kitchen, living room, laundry, and shared patio. Our home is the second floor flat (apartment) of two-story house recently remodeled with new appliances, furniture. Direct access to landscaped patio that gets bright afternoon sun (shared with downstairs folks, but they hardly ever use it). Our home is private, safe, dog- and cat-friendly and we'd love to share it with you! WiFi. Flat screen television with ROKU to play Netflix, etc. Local t.v. only, no cable.
The Mission has it all! Our home is in the middle of a vibrant, diverse neighborhood. From coffee shops to restaurants serving burritos, pupusas, Belgian, Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese food - the list goes on and on! From bakeries to bars to live music venues. We live at the end of a short street in the "eye of the storm," so to speak. The street is quiet and calm and my neighbors are great! The Mission is a bustling and very "urban" part of the city. As in the rest of San Francisco, some people will ask you for money, some people are homeless. These people don't tend to be violent. Mostly what happens here are crimes of opportunity - phones left out, bags unzipped, etc. So don't be scared - be aware! Here are some of the places we like best: Restaurants: Chinese - Mission Chinese on Mission St Vietnamese - Sunshine @ 16th & Valencia Indian pizza - Zante - really yummy! a bit far away @ Mission & Cortland (take the 14 or the 49 S) More cafes, coffee shops, and cool bars than I can mention! Music: The Elbow Room - rock-ish - Valencia btwn 18 + 19th Sts Blondie's - jazz-ish - on Valencia btwn 16th + 17th Sts Check out this website for local insider-y events: www JohnnyFunCheap dot com www dot Goldstar dot com for discount tickets to local events
  • Your light & airy flat was perfect for our trip: 1/2 block from 16th street BART station in most interesting district in SF: Mission. And now using Uber we could travel quickly even beyond reach of BART for not too much $. Graffiti-art Clarion Alley and shopping heaven Valencia St around the corner. Best ethnic restaurants within walking distance. Updated kitchen had all clean equipment needed to cook fresh food from kiosks at Ferry Building or Bi-Rite, or just warm up restaurant leftovers. Lots of comfy sofa room for recovering from miles of walking the sites. Ample closet - & hangers - and shelf room for clothes. Loved the 2 boxes of SF Walking and Beyond SF Driving card sets. Very helpful! In fact, we appreciated the box of sight-seeing guides in kitchen - and added to it. Was great to get to meet you as well and find out your compelling professional adventures behind the Russian map mounted in the hallway. Hope to see you again in SF. May all your travels be as sunny and fulfilling as ours were.

  • This was hands-down my best AirBnB experience to date! Phyllis' was an amazing host! The apartment is incredible - perfect location, immaculately clean, and super comfortable. This is one of the best blocks in the Mission, with everything within easy walking distance (BART, restaurants, shopping, etc.). Phyllis went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. I hope to be back soon!

  • Fantastic location! I will pretty much just reiterate what's already been said. Amazing location close to everything. The building is old, but the unit is clean and well kept. Liberty is a fantastic host. If you're looking for a place to crash and are in SF to be out on the town and see the sites, this is your spot. If you're looking for a place to stay with 5 star accommodations and a spa, look elsewhere, but know that you'll pay MUCH MUCH more. We had a great time. Thanks Liberty!

    Miles2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Liberty was a great host, easy to connect with, provided great information about the neighborhood, transportation and how to get to and in the building.

    Rebecca2017-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The location is fantastic! But with that definitely comes some traffic/city noise. I was ok with it but if you have difficulties sleeping, it could present an issue. Check in was a little confusing, just read carefully through what Liberty sends you and you'll figure it out. Overall, a good stay if location is the most important factor.

    Sheryl2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy place that is in the MIDDLE of San Francisco. You can get anywhere from here. Perfect.

    Tony2017-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • The place is exactly as listed. Very small but clean and at the heart of the financial district. The building itself is quite old but the apartment inside is very nice. The host keeps water and snacks for you.

    Ana2017-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Liberty was very accommodating. The room was a good value.

    Clint 2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • The best thing about this little studio is the location. It is comfortable enough for a couple days, but it really feels like staying in a dorm room, albeit a clean one. It's nice to add the white noise maker, but there is still a LOT of street noise. The building is old, and there is a constant smell of cooked fish as most of the residents seem to enjoy cooking fish. Liberty is great with communication.

    Jordan2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is located close to the bus and BART lines. It is only a 30 minute ride on BART from the San Francisco International Airport to the stop near the apartment. (Current cost is $8.95) . It is close to the trolley line also. It is easy to get to the sites along the bay and there are lots of dining choices nearby. If you are traveling for business, it is close to the hotels with conference facilities.

  • Del and David were fantastic hosts. The space is awesome, check in was a breeze and they were the most caring hosts I've had to date. If you're looking for an authentic experience of SF, there's no better place to stay. I will most definitely be staying here again.

  • Del is an amazing host. Very communicative and friendly. The space was great, very clean with updated fixtures. Checking in and other instructions were easy. I'd definitely stay here again!

    Drew2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Del is an extremely helpful and kind host. She made many great suggestions for restaurants which were only 2 blocks away from her location. The accommodations were amazing and the bed was seriously the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

  • Del was an amazing host. Very accommodating to my travel plans, and had a wealth of local information available. I was traveling on business so didn't get to spend a lot of time in the apt, but it was in excellent shape, clean, and relaxing. Would definitely rent again :)

    Mike2015-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • My experience was great. Del granted me some extra time in the morning because I fell ill, a kind act of her.

    Jose Atl2016-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is pretty much the perfect Airbandb experience. We stayed here a week, and we were glad we chose to stay here. The place is easy to find, and it is very accurately described online. Friendly hosts and really well appointed. Del welcomed us on arrival and everything was well explained. There are also good written instructions in the apartment. Del set up a bed for our granddaughter who was also traveling with us, and we had our own room. The kitchen is also well appointed, and the whole apartment is clean, modern, and the photos are true to form. There's even a clothes washing machine and drier which we found ideal given the length of our stay. We enjoyed our time here and would gladly return. We used public transport into town every day - take the number 9 bus there and back to Market street and if transitioning to the Embarcadero transfer to a street car in Market street. No rush to change - the two routes overlap for at least a kilometre. We bought a seven day pass which works on all transport we needed, including the cable cars. Try and avoid using it at night. There's lots of Latino eating places along 24th street, and we returned three times to the Roosevelt Tamale Parlor, on the left as you walk from Utah street, a couple of blocks from Potrero, so we recommend it. A block further along, on the other side, there's a very good fresh fruit and vegetable shop. The Internet is a bit spotty in that it's a little slow and range can be limited, but all things considered, this was a minor inconvenience. As mentioned, would be happy to stay again.

This lovely 1-bedroom suite in Cole Valley has a bathroom, small kitchenette and private deck overlooking the city and takes up the entire top floor of our classic Victorian house. It is decorated with soothing earth-tone fabrics and charming seascape paintings, and will be a relaxing retreat whether you're in town for work or vacation. I will mention that to get to this lovely apartment does involve lots of stairs to climb, some of them up a spiral staircase, since it's on the 4th floor and set above the street. But the view and light are well worth the climb. (See notes on PARKING in last paragraph below) It has one extremely comfortable queen-sized bed and chaise with terrific views of the city, as well as a twin bed tucked away in a nook in the bedroom. It has a living room with a twin-size daybed that has a pop-up twin trundle bed underneath, to comfortably sleep two people. It also has a small kitchenette, a desk, free wifi and TV (with cable, including HBO and Showtime). The large deck also has magnificent views of the city. It is situated in lovely Cole Valley, in walking distance of UCSF and its shuttles to Mission Bay and elsewhere. It is a short walk to Golden Gate Park (great for running, walking, or just exploring beautiful gardens and nature), the Haight-Ashbury, and steps from public transportation (1 block to the bus stop, 2 blocks to the N-Judah train stop; we do not have a garage) and very close to the charming restaurants, shops and services of Cole Valley and the Haight (including a short jaunt to Whole Foods and other natural food stores). This apartment is perfect if you're in town for work (especially at UCSF), or just in town to relax and visit! In terms of getting to the apartment from the airport, you can take an Uber or cab here, a bus, the Super Shuttle (a very inexpensive, great way to get here-- just (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) "Super Shuttle" to check fares and schedule a pick-up/ drop-off), or the MUNI train (it's right on the N line-- towards Ocean Beach if you're coming from downtown/ Civic Center; the N-Judah if you're coming from the other direction). Getting here with public transportation is very inexpensive and very easy. You just take BART to the Civic Center stop from the airport, and transfer to the MUNI "N" line, going toward Ocean Beach. Our stop is Stanyan Street (at the intersection of Stanyan and Carl streets). We are extremely close to multiple MUNI stops (San Francisco's public transportation system), so public transportation is easy, cheap and plentiful. However, if you're driving, please note that while we don't have a parking spot, it's a fairly easy neighborhood to find free parking in. However, while parking is free, it is not unlimited. They ticket every two hours from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, so you need to either move your car by 10 am (not too hard, there are usually spots to be found, and most people start their day by then anyway), or park in a nearby parking lot (Kezar Parking Lot is within a 10 minute walk down the street on Stanyan near Frederick Street, and you can pay to park all day for ~$20-~25 for 24 hours, should you want to leave your car there for the day). There are also some streets nearby (Rivoli street, for example) where you can park round the clock for ~48 hours for free and they don't ticket, but you have to search a bit for those spots as everyone wants them!
  • Everything about the house was just as I expected great house great location

    ROBERT2015-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place and what a lovely host! We had a great time in this beautiful and relaxed neighbourhood only minutes away from Haight Ashbury. The apartment was clean and comfy - we felt at home right after climbing the winding stairs and enjoying the great view. Stacey is a very kind and open person. Definetely THE place so stay in San Francisco!

    Na2013-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stacey's roof apartment is a real gem! We stayed there for 3 nights Thanksgiving week with our 8 month old baby girl. The apartment was very clean with an awesome deck and a view of the city. Kitchen was equipped enough to prepare full meals if we wanted to. Appliances wise it had a stove, microwave, mini fridge and kettle. TV/cable/internet/dvd player really saved us from having boring nights when baby went to sleep for the night. The bathroom was to die for! huge shower with bench, steam room and a skylight! But the best part about the apartment was location! it is right in the heart of the city which is super convenient if you are in town for few days. Stacey was very easy to talk to, accommodating and made our arrival at 4am with a baby on our hands a breeze by coordinating special arrangements. Definitely will contact her again next time we visit and refer her to our friends!!

    Marina2013-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had an outstanding experience at this gem. The summer weather was unseasonably bright and clear. The apartment welcomed us with a gorgeous deck that overlooked the city and was beautiful to sit and relax in the sunshine. The place was impeccably clean as well as stylish. Just right for us!

    Barbara2014-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in San Fransisco a lot. Stacey was very helpful and nice. The appartment was good and the outside terrace had a fantastic view. The only problem was the parking with few spaces available espacially if you arrived late.

    Ulf2014-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay, so comfortable and clean, we felt at home. Great neighborhood, with small restaurants and friendly people. Stacey was amazing, thank you, thank you, thank you. Will be back for sure!

    Ute2015-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Stacey´s apartment is a great place to stay with an amazing view from the newly remodeled terrace. The neighborhood offers everything you need and if you are traveling with kids like we did you ll find many great and child friendly restaurants and lots of locals with kids on the streets and in the restaurants, too. Stacey is a great and helpful communicator, I can only recommend her place. If you have a lot of luggage and kids, be aware that it´s a long and narrow way up to the apartment - but it´s definitely worth it.

Killer boutiques; Heidi says, Jarbo, keils, etc. Then hit Sutter street back up to Baker St. This is my morning walk. • We loved the space and the location worked out great. The apt inside was so nicely decorated and plenty of space for our family. We would rent again!!

  • very good our stay , everything was as described by petti will recommend to all my friends, thank you very much and hope to return soon

  • The house was charming and centrally located. The bed linens and towels were a nice treat after a long day of sightseeing. Patti made us feel welcome and the directions for the garage and entrance were well written.

    Paige2015-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • my husband and I visited Patti's place with my father from Holland and aunt from Canada. we all had our own rooms. the house was cozy and in a good location. we took uber everywhere and parked our car in the garage. I recommend Patti's house for a family. or couple. She was so kind to let my family who flew in from Canada check in early!!! There was food in the fridge, it felt like home!!

  • The apartment was matched the description on the website very well. It was attractive, clean and everything was in working order. Patti was responsive and gave helpful advice.

  • Patti was an awesome host, I had my family stay at her apartment for the week of my wedding. There is plenty of space for 6 people, there is a parking garage if you need one. The apartment is clean and the neighbors are really friendly. If my family comes back in town, that's the place I'll have them stay again. Also Patti has been very responsive to my messages any time I needed something. She is the best representation of how a host should be on Airbnb.

    Hasan2014-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Patti was informative and accommodating from the moment we inquired about her property. When we arrived everything was as described and we had a very pleasant stay as a result. Modern and well-equipped kitchen, ample closet space for our 2 night stay; very clean, fresh linens and towels. The neighborhood was different than we expected but overall quiet, residential, and a short walk to most essentials.

    Jonathan2014-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Patti was a very gracious host. She offered to help in any way that she could, and and stayed in touch to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed. Her home very nice, well kept and comfortable, with everything we needed. I was even able to watch all of my favorite March Madness games in comfort. The location was also great, with quick access to local shopping and restaurants.

  • Gorgeous views in a very safe part of town! This is definitely how me and my partner would describe Peter's place. The kitchen was so nice, but where we spent most of our time was in the living room! It was awesome coming back from a day of exploring to see the glittering lights of the Bay Bridge; we took so many photos. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

    Julie2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place had amazing views and was located in a great spot. It was well decorated and really felt like home. It was easy to communicate with Peter and he was very kind.

    Julio2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • The view is amazing! And the location is wonderful for easy access to public transportation and long walks or runs along the Embarcadero. The building is quiet and safe, and the little neighborhood is beautiful and very quaint for being right in the heart if the city. We had a wonderful weekend in SF. Thank you, Peter!

    Diane2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • WOW what a view! The flat was spacious, clean, beautifully appointed and supplied with great amenities. The hosts were fantastic, checked in via text the day after our arrival to see if everything was ok and were very responsive to my concerns and needs. They left detailed instructions, recommendations; the check-in/out process was super easy. I will definitely suggest to friends that may venture to Sam Francisco soon and would stay again! Loved ito

    Monique2016-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic! My family of five finally had a consensus pick on our vacation and it was Peter's place. We rented a car and the metered parking outside the building is affordable $2 per hour from 7am-11pm. There were always spaces available. One of the top places I have stayed.

    Steve2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome apartment. Awesome view. We stayed there for business, and it was quiet and walkable to our meetings in the SOMA area. Everything was as advertised, and our interactions with Peter were seamless. Thank you Peter.

    Ryan2016-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Peter was the perfect host! Easily contactable and was at the Apartment to greet us when we arrived and show us through the Apartment. The Apartment was very clean and modern and Peter even left us some food! Would recommend Peter's place to anybody. The perfect stay!

    Danni2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Peter's apartment with a coworker. Overall the visit was good but the photos did not match up with the apartment. It was still nice, clean and had amazing views. The apartment has very comfortable beds and one bedroom has an incredible view of the water. The other bedroom has a great view of the city. The living area has an amazing view of the bridge. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is great if you're traveling with a coworker. The apartment is not homey but we spent so little time there it was fine. It is very clean but we had a few minor things like no fresh bars of soap. I feel like if I had told Peter during the stay he would have addressed it. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet at night.

  • We enjoyed our stay at Yangs. It is a roomy apt and we were able to find our way to everywhere from there.

  • Just as described: modern, large 2 bedroom in the heart of the Mission. Vicky was a very responsive and helpful host! We had a good stay. Easy to park nearby. Good coffee, great doughnuts and trendy dive bars are only a few blocks away. Some surrounding streets felt slightly dangerous at times, but there were plenty of parents and kids out-and-about during the day. Folsom was noisy at night.

  • My 2 colleagues and I went to a female tech conference for a few days and this place was perfect! It was easy to walk to just about everything, very unique layout, clean, and accommodated the three of us very comfortably. The key code lock also made getting into and out of the condo seamless. Beyond it being nice to not have to worry about a key, this was really helpful on our first day because we arrived at different times. As a host, Vicky was extremely accommodating and allowed us to drop off our bags prior to checkin time. I would 100% come back again :)

  • The flat was as good as described. The location was great. The interior of the flat was awesome. We did not get a chance to meet pasty in person during our stay. But based on the online conversations she seemed pretty nice. The only things that we really wish could have been done better were the check in and check out processes. The pass code I got to check in was not correct.. I had to somehow figure out the right combination myself. On our last day there the person to clean the apartment showed up unexpectedly before the check out time and requested us to pack and leave immediately. This made us feel quite uncomfortable.. We tried to contact the host at that time. But maybe because she was oversea we could not get contact with her.. Overall I think our stay here was good. Yet it could have been better if Pasty could improve the check in and check out process.. We thank pasty for hosting us. :) Regards.

  • Patsy and Roger's home was wonderful. Beautifully appointed, spacious and convenient. We enjoyed an all-too-brief reunion with our three adult children and we wanted for nothing. Aside from the fact that we landed in San Francisco during an unprecedented heat wave, everything was perfect. One recommendation: avoid bringing a vehicle if you can. As in any large city, parking was a challenge, and quite expensive. We ended up in the Geary Mall lot, about a 14 block walk. Patsy suggested Uber for around-town trips, and it was perfect. I hope we will have an opportunity to return one day!

    Kate2015-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb experience and we couldn’t have been happier with Patsy’s apartment. Clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. A good location within walking distance to the park and only a short drive away from the main tourist attractions. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment which made our time in San Fransisco even more enjoyable.

    Emma2016-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • This rental is the perfect place for a smaller group. The furniture and space are just as nice as the pictures look and even more spacious. The layout works perfect for people hanging out in the kitchen and TV space without disturbingING anyone in the bedrooms. Patsy and her crew were incredibly communicative and available when needed. The neighborhood also has several restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this place.

    Nick2016-06-15T00:00:00Z

  • This is a beautiful home in a fantastic location and is very well appointed. The kitchen is well organized and has anything you could need for meal preparation, including baking. Patsy is very responsive and easy to communicate with. She was very hospitable and made us feel at home. We were three adults with 2 small kids between us. The children had good space to play and do activities without fear of getting into too much trouble. We would definitely return.

  • Great location with lots to see and do in the neighbourhood, also very handy to downtown SF on the 38 bus which runs very regularly into town. Lovely place for a group of friends travelling, super big bookstore nearby for avid readers and great museums within walking distance in Golden Gate park, for culture vultures and fans of city breaks. Patsy was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Our place is close to everything SF and near the heart of SOMA. A few blocks from great dining, the Moscone conference center, Giants Stadium, Union Square/downtown, the financial district, the CAL train, and many more. Easy on and off the freeway, this place is a breeze for your stay.. You’ll love this place because of the high ceilings, roof deck with all the views, the location, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
Garaged parking is available onsite for $30/day extra. Please let us know ahead of time so that we can arrange for it. Otherwise, there is free parking on the street sometimes but it can be hard to find.

  • Decent, modern place that met our needs. The (shared) rooftop patio and balcony make all the difference. Not the best neighborhood, but a few cool places you can walk to for food/drink. We paid an extra $60 for two parking spots in the garage under the building for convenience and security. I'm glad we did cuz as were walking to dinner, we passed a car that just had its window smashed near the front of the building.

Elegant 1-bedroom/ 1-bathroom flat: a great location on a quiet street on the hill between Castro and Noe Valley. The flat is charming and extremely bright and quiet, with craftsman details, hardwood floors, great closet space, and two wood-burning fireplaces (one in the bedroom!). Huge living room with a great view of downtown/Civic Center and the Castro. The flat has a large beautifully landscaped yard and deck with b-b-que and table for 6. It is within walking distance to great shops and restaurants, easy transportation to Downtown/Financial District, with a bus stop at the corner, and 5 minute walk to 24th Street/Noe valley and Castro. Kitchen includes stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove/oven. Facilities include a washer and dryer, internet, and the house is fully furnished. Renovated bathroom includes ball and claw tub with shower, new vanity and tile floors.
  • Betty was a fine host. Did not meet her, but that was not necessary. Property was as described and neighborhood fine. Betty might have been a bit more responsive on helping with a low humming noise coming from the apartment above, i.e. by making contact with the occupant (she did engage with us on the matter, without hesitation). In the end, we knocked on the door, came to know that the noise was coming from an air purifier, and the neighbor put a towel under the device to deaden the vibration. No big deal, and we do not fault Betty. Would definitely stay again on a return to San Francisco. Fine, fine.

    David2014-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Betty was there to greet us and to give advice about finding amenities in the area. The apartment has an amazing view. We enjoyed the size and it's location and it's facade. If you don't want to walk to the Muni ,there is a bus stop just steps away from the apartment. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops within blocks both in the Castro and the Noe districts. We did feel, however, that considering the $150 cleaning charge that the apartment could have been cleaner and basics, e.g. dish washer soap, a bar of hand soap in the wash room, could have been provided.

    susan2014-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks again for your perfect pad, Betty!

  • Great digs in a great location! The view is amazing and the art is very interesting to say the least. Everything functioned as expected and although I had not met Betty face to face she was responsive to emails. One note is to be mindful of noise at night as the walls are thin in the living room and the neighbours will let you know! Shared outdoor patio is a plus!

  • Hi Betty, it was a great stay at your appartment. A tip for serving the next guests; informationmap were you can find what to do in the direct surrounding and were you can find sheets. Also tips for parking the car, it is no option to move the car very two hours, on the corner of 21 and valencia you find a garage.

  • The room was great and comfortable. And Danielle was so kind! I could enjoy my stay. I hope I will stay his house again. Thanks :D

    Naoki2016-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Let me start by saying that Danielle is an awesome host! Our plane was 5 hours late (emergency landing), and Danielle had no problem meeting us at 3 am to give us the keys and a tour of the place. That was really and truly appreciated ! We were way past the check in time. Check out was also easy! :) We would definitely recommand Danielle's place for that ! The appartement itself was also immaculate ! True to description, very clean and spacious for a studio. We enjoyed the view of the city. Really felt comfortable! Kitchen well equipped, maybe the only thing missing would be a coffee machine? But there is a Starbucks close by. The only point that did not make our stay perfect was the surroundings. There are SOOO many homeless people in the area, O've never seen anything like it. Very scary at night starting at 8 pm on early morning on weekends. As if tenderloin had move a few streets east/south to Market?? Definitely NOT suggested for woman traveling alone. I was not able to walk around without my husband, which is a bummer when you want to visit a city. Uber necessary to get to conference center which is only 4 blocks away. Should be okay if you're a male or not planning to go out for a walk that often ! The building itself is really safe though, with a concierge on a 24 hour schedule.

  • Danielle's studio apartment was great! Small, but clean, nicely furnished and in a great central location with the ability to walk to everything you need. Check in and check out were super easy and Danielle was always flexible and responsive.

    James2016-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Danielle's place was very clean and she and her husband where exceedingly easy to coordinate with. The location is fantastic if you want a taste of Union Square, SOMA, and the Mission District!

    Ryan2016-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great! Cute apartments on the highest floor (20th). Fullsize windows (from floor to ceiling), great location. Really 15-min lazy walking to the Union Square) Somebody can think that apart its too small, but its too cute and comfortable. Full staffed kitchen, queen bed big bathroom and sweet studio. My personal pleasure - the windows. They're really big and sunny! There is a laundry room on the floor, so you don't need to go outside. Pls, note, that it's too hard to find a parking slot near. But you can use public transport or walking to the center. Danielle was very friendly and sweet, she advised us the nearest shop and answered to all our questions (even if they was stupid). Recomend!

    Anastasiia2016-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay at Danielle's place. Danielle was very easy to deal with and made the check-in and out process really really easy. I would recommend and stay here again.

  • Great location, super clean, and beautiful views. A great choice for San Francisco. Thanks Sean!

    Joe2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • The view was amazing and place was very clean. I loved that there were mirrors everywhere. This is very suitable when you have a group of girls trying to get ready to go out.

    Xochitl2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment was exactly what we needed, and the view is even better than the pictures suggests. If you are looking for a place to stay for a Giants game, this apt is mere blocks from the stadium. However, the one thing that was misleading were the amenities. There was no breakfast provided, and some of the ones listed (hot tub, washer/dryer) were in the building, but not the apartment. There is a kureig, but no k cups. Also, in case you missed it, there is no A/C. This normally would not be a problem in CA, but if you are sleeping in the living room, the rising sun can give the apt a greenhouse effect. All in all, I would still recommend staying here, but I wish things had been a bit more clear.

    Jared2017-04-29T00:00:00Z

  • Sean's place was very nice! It had an amazing view of the harbor/water and the description of the home was spot on. I would definitely come back.

    Jacob2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • We rented Sean’s place so that we could spend a quick day/night in San Fran. Slept 4 adults and 3 kids fine. Amazing view of the ocean and Oakland Bay bridge. Very close to AT&T park (Giants). Sean made it very convenient for us to pick up the key as well as drop it off. We’d recommend his place to friends & family.

Simply put, this is an impressive home. Bold architecture, premium fixtures, an open floor plan, and quite literally some of San Francisco's best views make this stay a memorable experience for larger groups, business travel, or for a romantic getaway. Sorry, no parties allowed. This three bedroom masterpiece is perched at the very top of Potrero Hill. Four balconies blend beautifully with the interior of the home and allow you to appreciate Potrero Hill's sunny weather and mild climate.
The main entrance is opens up to the first floor which includes a common vestibule accessing one full bath and two sizable bedrooms, each with ample closets and queen beds, and access to a well kept, shared bathroom. One floor up is the main floor. A wide open floor plan combines a dining room, living room, kitchen, bar, and patio into a truly remarkable space. A beautiful 4k television and premium surround sound experience are wonderful for entertaining, or for a relaxed night in on top of the city. One floor up is the master suite, which is nothing short of jaw dropping. A sunny office with serves as the entry to an incredible room with 270 degree views of the San Francisco Bay. Gaze from bridge to bridge, and take a moment to open twin patio doors and let the breeze flow through. Turn on the fireplace, and indulge in watching the city lights twinkle. A modern shower, tub, and closet are elegantly tucked behind the main room. They are spacious, and luxurious.
Potrero Hill is known as much for its quaint commercial streets and bustling neighborhood cafes as it is for its views. It's also one of the most accessible neighborhoods in the city. Twelve minutes from SFO, an easy drive to Silicon Valley, and direct access both to SOMA, the Financial District, the Mission, and all the action in Mission Bay and Dogpatch make this a great choice for many San Francisco
  • Peter's house is outstanding. Very good location. Breathtaking views, clean and well designed house. Communicating with Peter was also great. The house is a short walk from the cool Dog Patch area with many hip and tasty restaurants. I would warmly recommend this house.

    Bryant2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's home is gorgeous! Beautiful views and lots of natural light. I came for a work trip and Peter made the check in and check out process seamless. A great place to stay for 3+ people.

    Meron2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Place was amazing, Peter was extremely helpful and the house was definitely undersold, great location for a small gathering or a weekend getaway. Highly recommend.

    Kevin2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Peter completely undersold how stunning this home is. As you walk in, the architecture, furnishings and view are breathtaking. We stayed in his home as a staycation with friends, so it was the perfect spot to stay in. If we wanted to go out for nightlight, it would've been just as easy. Being an SF resident I know that this location is far enough from the buzz for peace but close enough to go out at any time. Moreover, Peter was extremely responsive before and during our stay. He answered all of our questions and even went to the house before hand to check in on my questions. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

    Olivia2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay. The views are amazing!

    Jingwen2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a cool house to stay in SF, this is your place. The design of the house is amazing and Peter has done an outstanding job with the inside furniture and set up. The master bedroom has incredible views. Definitely repeating this airbnb for future trips to SF.

A block from Valencia, 3.5 blocks to BART, fabulous cafes, restaurants, shops and clubs within one block. Yes, you have your own space, your own bathroom and your own entrance. Our building has 3 units, and you will be sharing a wall. The people on the other side of the shared wall are loud. I wish I could say we have a quiet sanctuary. If you read through my reviews, you will see that the noise bothers some, but not all. I provide a background noise machine and earplugs.
The space is on the ground floor with a sliding glass door that opens to the back yard. The main room has a queen size bed, dresser, desk, and futon sofa, cable TV, and shelves to organize your things. There is a small room outside of the bathroom that has a small refridgerator, and microwave. Since it is not a real kitchen, there are disposable plates and utensils because doing dishes in the bathroom would not be a good idea for our plumbing. You will find a Nespresso coffee maker, coffee pods, a toaster, cutting board and knife. The bathroom has a sliding door, The toilet is under the stairs, so a sloping ceiling, please take care not to bump your head! (See the picture) There is a sink and shower.
The Mission is hard to describe. It is vibrant, and a little bit of all that SF has to offer. There is great food, and the best people and this block of SF has the best micro-climate in the whole city. I feel lucky to live here.
  • We had a great stay at Karen's home. The accommodations were as advertised: clean and comfortable, with many convenient amenities. The location was fantastic -- a safe neighborhood, a short walk away from the 16th & Mission MUNI station with easy access to much of the city. Karen was very friendly and helpful; she provided us with a lot of information about San Francisco and suggested places for us to visit. She was always responsive to our texts and questions. We highly recommend her place!

    Stephen2014-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Karen was very easy to communicate with and the place had everything we need. Great location in the heart of Mission Dolores!

    Topher2015-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Really good location for getting in and out of the city with easy routes to and from the airport! Nice clean apartment with lovely personal touches with all the little bits that were really helpful. Easy to follow instructions about getting in and out of the flat.

    Rhian2015-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I planned to spend the night at Karen's on Feb 8th together, but I missed my plane so it ended up being just my sister staying the night. Karen was beyond helpful and so nice in making sure my sister got to her place safely. With the weather (rain) hitting SF, she offered to pick us up from the BART station, and after finding out my sister was traveling alone she walked to the station to meet her! She was very prompt in replying to emails and being in contact with us before our arrivals. Now onto her place. Karens room was very private, with a separate entry off the street and then a keyless entry to the room from the basement/backyard/street entrance. It was very clean, with maps of the city, fridge, laundry, microwave, coffee maker, umbrella, and private bathroom. There is a patio to the most adorable backyard. I am planning to visit SF again with my husband and would most definitely stay with Karen. She is very hospitable, and also allowed us to keep our luggage at the room for most of the next day! Thank you Karen!

    Stacey2014-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place was a great little refuge on our visit to San Francisco. The private entrance is convenient and the very soft foam mattress topper on the bed was incredibly sleep-inducing. We loved getting the famous pastries from Tartine bakery (only one block away) and enjoying them amongst the flowers and greenery of Karen's beautiful backyard patio. She was also kind enough to provide a few little treats for our short stay! Would happily stay again.

    Michael2014-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place was wonderful and perfect for our trip. It was so easy to communicate with her leading up to the trip and when we checked in she was all ready and waiting for us. The room was a perfect size, including a very comfortable queen mattress with memory foam, a nice futon/couch and a desk. She even left little chocolates and toiletries for us. Also she had a book shelf with a stack of to-do San Francisco guide books. What a great idea! Everything was nice and neat and clean. I highly recommend Karen's place when you travel to San Francisco. The location is great, and we couldn't have asked for a nicer host! If we're ever back we will definitely stay here again(URL HIDDEN)

    Mallory2014-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was amazing! Since the moment we arrived, Karen, was very gracious. The room was perfect, it was a million times better than a hotel! Everything we could have possibly needed was in the room! It was great

    Valeria2015-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended! First of all, the place is even nicer than the pictures suggest. Karen keeps the place very clean, organized, and stocked with everything you might need. Karen provided clear instructions about picking up the key and was easy to reach. The location of the apartment is great - you can easily walk to public transit (about 6-7 minutes) and there are many good restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. There are only a couple of minor things that I thought worth mentioning for others to be aware of: as described in the listing, the ceiling above the toilet is sloped, so you have to watch your head. Also, the bed has a soft memory foam mattress so if you are used to a firm mattress, you may find that it feels a bit strange. Other reviewers seem to find it very comfortable, so it depends on what you are used to. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay at Karen's again without hesitation.

Enjoy a luxurious stay in this private 1Bed/1Bath suite in an historic 1912 building. Perfectly located between the Castro and the Mission, walk to all the restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and amenities that these neighborhoods have to offer.
This 1 bed/1 bath suite is on the first floor (up one flight of stairs from the street). The suite was beautifully remodeled in 2012 while still retaining 1912 details such as cove ceilings, hardwood floors and period woodwork. The bedroom features a queen-size bed with luxurious bedding, ample closet space and a bay window with seating that overlooks 17th Street. The bathroom includes a hand shower, tub, towels and organic bath supplies. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom for those rare hot days and wall heater in the hall for the cooler months. The suite also has high-speed WiFi and Cable HDTV with hundreds of channels. There is no kitchen, but the suite includes a coffee maker, electric kettle, cooler and microwave. Of course, there are many restaurants, cafes and coffee shops nearby -- check the guidebook for our recommendations.
Mission Dolores is centrally located between the Castro and the Mission. It includes Mission Dolores -- the oldest building in San Francisco, and Dolores Park -- one of the most popular parks in the city. As you may know, the Castro (centered 4 blocks west) is the historic gay center of San Francisco -- it features restaurants, bars, the Castro Theater, shopping, and an ever-increasing number of coffee shops and day spas. The Mission (centered 3 blocks east) is a historically Latino neighborhood. It, too, features restaurants, bars, the Roxie Theater, shopping and an ever-increasing number of coffee shops and boutiques.
  • Beautiful place, just like in the photos. Perfect location near Dolores Park. Marc was super responsive before and during our stay. The only minor thing was that it had a wine cooler but no fridge, however there are lots of great places to eat and coffee shops nearby so this was not a problem for us.

    Federico2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience for being our first time in SF. The room was very private and very comfortable for our stay. Lots of nearby places to walk by. Will definitely keep this location in mind for out next visit.

Walk to the famous "Painted Ladies" of Alamo Square! Eat at unique neighborhood cafes and restaurants. Stay in a cottage of your own, right in the heart of SF. Fully remodeled with all modern features, elegant kitchen, designer glass and tile bathroom, exotic wood floors, very comfortable beds. Your own parking spot out front is a rare convenience.
This cottage is a separate building, away from the street, so it is extremely private. One hundred years ago it was a carriage house for a horse and buggy before the age of cars. It was completely re-built last year with all new materials and modern amenities. We live in the main house 20 feet away, and we are usually here to help you get settled or quickly answer any question. You have a FREE reserved parking space out front which is very useful in SF. The unit consists of the entire cottage, with partial views of Twin Peaks and Sutro Tower. Total size is approximately 1000 sq. ft. (92 sq. m.) The downstairs is open plan with gourmet kitchen, dining table with chairs, couch, large TV and full bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a full bathroom. We apologize that the outdoor landscaping is still under construction. There is a 10 foot stretch where the ground is a little uneven. It is safe and well lighted day and night. Amenities include: * full modern kitchen * free outdoor parking in front * two new, very comfortable queen beds * sofa downstairs, opens to queen bed * air mattress for 7th guest (it will be a tight fit and a little uncomfortable) * exotic wood floors * large windows, great light * two full bathrooms, modern glass and tile * tub with double saloon glass shower * professionally cleaned before each visit * sheets, towels, and soaps provided * high speed wi-fi, cellular/3G/4G, strong signal * TV with cable, FREE streaming Netflix, DVD * HULU, Amazon Prime Movies, etc. on your account * private entrance with access code - no keys to lose! * bike storage: off-street safe and secure * laundry: free washer, dryer, and detergent! * luggage storage for early arrival, late departure * breakfast: many cafes and restaurants a few blocks away
We are right in the middle of San Francisco in the historic North of Panhandle ("NOPA") neighborhood, near Presidio Heights, and accessible to everything this great city has to offer. The area is very clean and safe, quiet at night and thriving during the day. Walk among Victorian gems, soak in the cafe and foodie scene, bike to the beaches or the Mission, or take a cab or easy bus to anywhere. Stroll to these unique neighborhood attractions, all within a few blocks: * Alamo Square's Painted Ladies ("The 7 Sisters") * Panhandle Park to Golden Gate Park * Amazing restaurants: NOPA, Green Chile, Ragazza Pizza, Crudo (seafood), Nopalito, Tsunami Sushi, Souvla * Cafe paradise: Matching Half, The Mill, Mojo, Peet's * Wine/bar heaven: Wine Kitchen, Vinyl, Fly * Gourmet food to go: Faletti's, Bi-Rite Divis * Farmer's market: Sunday 10-2 four blocks away * Entertainment: Madrone, The Independent * SF Symphony, Opera, Ballet in Hayes Valley (20 min walk) * Jazz: The Fillmore, SFJAZZ (15 min walk) * Buena Vista Park (15 min walk) * Haight/Ashbury (20 min walk)
  • Nice cottage with great amenities, secluded from street, very quiet. I like the fact that they have a homey "remove shoes please" sign, since we are from Hawaii where such Asia-influenced courtesies are standard. Great that there is a TV in one of the bedrooms as well as large screen downstairs, so you really could accommodate guests with different schedules. The nicely equipped kitchen of this cottage will help you save money on extended stays like ours. However, the Green Chile Kitchen just down the street has stellar Mexican food so am confident you will probably pass on more than one in-home meal once you try it. Laundry room is a nice bonus.

    Kent2015-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautiful and very comfortable - myself and family of five others were able to comfortably stay there for four days with no problems at all while easily getting around the city walking and using public transit. It was a great vacation!

The location was perfect for walking access to many of the interesting locales, including Haight-Ashbury, Hayes Valley and with lots of shopping and food/drinking options nearby. Russ was extremely helpful and easy to contact for any queries. Thanks for allowing us to stay.
