We live in an 1895 Victorian top flat with 12 foot ceilings on the best block in San Francisco. Our calendar is always up to date. Location Location Location~ Our home is close to the Mission, Lower Haight, and 2.5 blocks from the Castro theater. The underground is 3 blocks away, with a street car even closer. The room is small and cosy, but a great price for one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the US! Please fill out your profile if you are interested~and make sure to arrange a time to meet prior to your arrival, I lead a busy lifestyle, work full time, and wouldn't want to miss anyone! Check in is at 4 and we are 37 steps up from street level. Restaurants are plentiful and beautiful Dolores Park is quite close. Your room has a twin day bed 75 inches long with a desk and a solid door. The room is 9.25 feet by 8 feet. Amenities include wireless and a gorgeous full kitchen. We have one cat that enjoys company almost as much as we do and a sweet rescue pooch. Our flat gets more light than any other home I've been to in my 13 years of living in this great town. For all you foodies out there BiRite Creamery, Tartine, Delfina's Pizza and Proper are within 4.5 blocks of our front door. Michelin rated Range is just a few farther. As much as we love bikes, and we do, we don't have space for storage. If you rent one please return it at the end of the day or lock up on the street at your own risk. Please ask if you would like to have a friend for a short visit.

If you want to be within walking distance to Golden Gate Park, Haight St, Buena Vista Park, and Cole Valley, this is the spot. Full size bed in the bedroom with 400 thread count sheets and a pull-out twin in the living room. Just installed fireplace and large screen tv makes hanging out fun in the comfortable living room. Bathroom has a shower within the tub and white fluffy towels.

You will hear from many that this is the best neighborhood in SF. I chose this area for the many Victorian homes, the ease of mass transit, the walkability, and the abundance of parks,restaurants, and nightlife nearby. As a recent transplant to this area I can tell you that the stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs are great here. I forget I have a car most of the time! Street parking is easy except for Wednesday 8-10 due to street cleaning.

This private and peaceful studio unit is located on the 4th floor of our family-owned complex. Once inside the building, you will need to walk up quite a few flights of stairs before you arrive on the 4th floor. Sorry, there is no elevator :( We try to keep the space nice and comfortable for our guests to enjoy while venturing around in San Francisco. Although our complex faces a major San Francisco street, it is relatively quiet with our double-pane windows. However, please feel free to consider bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There is another studio across the hall which we also own. We created a common area for you and the other studio's guest(s) to relax and enjoy enjoy a cup of coffee, a meal, or perhaps make a new friend. Common experiences, whether for travel or work, is a great foundation for great relationships :)

A quick stroll up the block will lead you to the south entrance of Golden Gate Park. A 1 min walk in the other direction will lead you to Irving Street where guests can indulge in some great neighborhood eateries and local bars and cafes. The neighborhood is very safe so leaving your car parked on the street overnight shouldn't be a hassle--just be mindful of the meters and parking signs.

Prompt replies and very cozy home. Starbucks a minute away and A bunch of food around the corner, and one block away from golden gate park which is good for a nice chill sunny day.

This charming location is perfect for your San Francisco get-away. It is conveniently located near all of the action of North Beach including many popular restaurants, parks, playgrounds, shops and nightlife. MUNI access is two blocks away and it is walking distance to Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Financial District.

North Beach is home to the famous Coit Tower, one of San Francisco's most recognizable landmarks. We have a great nightlight and fantastic restaurants. With a walk score of 98, this location is a walker's paradise with everything needed for the best of SF close at hand. Coit Tower and Washington Square Park are steps away! Convenient access to multiple neighborhoods with easy access to great dining, shopping, and transportation. Neighborhood parking is limited and however, there are a few secure, paid garages within a 5 block radius.

Quiet, clean, restful, this nice suite will be your refuge. There is a large bedroom, along with a small living room, including a piano, a kitchenette area with microwave, fridge, k-cup coffeemaker, and teakettle. Your private bathroom awaits your showering pleasure. Everything is fresh, clean and newly painted.

In addition to privacy and quietude, you can park in the neighborhood, there is no restriction. We live near a large park, and the bus #54 is at our corner and can take you to BART (our local train system). I don't allow infants or children younger than 9.

Our neighborhood is a residential one, but we are close to Mission St., not far from downtown. Our local park is huge and lovely to walk or run in.

Staying at Kate's place was great. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything one might need (bodywash, shampoo, hairdryer, napkins, TV etc). Kate was very hospitable, and the snacks and drinks (coffee and tea available for the whole week) made a very warm welcome. Kate was very quick in responding to texts, provided directions and also got in touch with me to say hello and we had great conversations. I would recommend staying there if you go to San Francisco.

Kate was a great host, friendly and had lots of info ready for us in case we needed sight-seeing ideas. Bedroom and bathroom were very clean with fresh towels. Bed was comfy. Location was good...inexpensive Uber ride away from the pier and airport.

Community was great. Parking was tough for me because I drive a truck but still managed to park on the same block the entire time I was there. Close to the city! Roughly $15-20 uber fair to AT&T unless it's surging. Great park up the block and the whole area was easy to get to! Kate and Barry were awesome and so were their dogs who are gated but very nice! She's attentive and helpful, and the place is killer! Highly recommended

The room was very nice and clean with a lot of privacy. One of the nicest spaces I've stayed at! The only downside was the location. Not exactly in the mission district so transportation is needed to get places. However, the hosts were very nice and helpful, especially in regard to catching public transport.

Mrs. Kate's place was wonderful. Extremely clean and charming. When I arrived she meet me and showed me the room. She has a section full of helpful info for tourist. There was free wifi, a comfortable bed, a kitchen area with snacks/drinks, as well as all the channels a person could ask for(television). It was nice staying in a neighborhood, made me fill less like a tourist. Thank you, Kate for your hospitality.

A quiet, safe, centrally located residential neighborhood with a roomy private space including garden/private entrance. You will have your own bathroom with a shower. There is a mini-kitchen with a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster oven, iron, and coffee/tea. We are less than a 5-minute walk to public transportation (15 minutes to downtown!), a lovely coffee shop and fruit market. There are many restaurants nearby. We are happy to provide recommendations in English, Spanish and French!

The space is on the ground floor of our Victorian-style home. It is one large room similar to a large studio. There is a steep stairway for private entry, however, accommodations can be made for heavy luggage. Not ideal for people with limited mobility.

We're near a produce market, corner store, great cafe with wonderful baked goods, and several restaurants

A private room on the third-floor of an old Victorian built in early 1900's. About 150 sq. ft. including a walk-in closet. Two shared bathrooms and kitchen. No private parking space on the premises. It's in the heart of the Richmond District of San Francisco. Golden Gate Bridge is only one bus stop away. Within walking distance to Golden Gate Park or Lake Park. Easy access to public transit system that will take you to major tourist attractions of the city.

The beautiful Golden Gate Park is only six blocks away to the south. A great place to exercise. Lake Presidio Park is only two blocks away to the north. My favorite place to do exercise. Various restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, drug stores, farmer's market, banks, post office, pubs, and bars with live music are around the corner on Clement St.

Mi casa es tu casa. Welcome to my beautiful 3 story home located in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. Your stay will be downstairs to our spacious house where you can have all the privacy you want with a private bedroom. There is one private bathroom with sink, toilet & shower. Our backyard is easily accessible if you choose to get some fresh air to relax at the patio. We have a puppy whose a Chihuahua, Terrier & Cocker Spaniel mut. She's small, cute & friendly. So you will find her lounging around the back yard as well.

This is a quiet neighborhood with super easy access to 101 & 280, the entrance/exit is 3 blocks away. Nearby we have Mission Street, 5-7 min walk. There you'll find any local bank; Walgreens, tons of local shops and eateries. And Safeway is only a few minutes farther down the street A personal favorite eatery is Roxy's Sandwiches, right around the corner. They have the best sandwiches in town. Lilia's place is clean, cozy, and quiet. She was there to greet me upon check in and was very friendly. The place was immaculate. The private entrance made for easy in and out. The house is in a convenient location in nice neighborhood located close to food and freeways. Within two blocks is Roxie Food Center where the sandwiches are as good as it gets in San Francisco. I would recommend Lilia's place, especially for the value.

Stay in our guest room in our 1600sf apartment! 1.5 blocks from Golden Gate Park! Room includes a bed with comfy pillow top mattress and shared bathroom. Wonderful living room and sunroom with breakfast bar overlooking the backyard is perfect for your morning coffee! 1/2 block from Safeway, & walking distance to Golden Gate, museums, coffee shops, restaurants, bus stops, & bike rental around the corner! We do have a cat in our home, he is not allowed in guest room, but he does wander the house!

This is a 3 BR, 1 BA apartment unit in a large townhome. We are on the first floor of a three story townhome in the Inner Richmond neighborhood. The house is approx. 1600sqft and common spaces include living room with a TV (Netflix available on it), kitchen, and sunroom! We also have a backyard you can enjoy, or you can always walk to Golden Gate only 1.5 blocks away! We do have a cat named Pablo, he is a talkative cat but he's super friendly and lovable! Please come stay with us, we're happy to have you! *we are a lower unit so you can hear people walking above and our neighbors can get noisy on the weekends!*

Inner Richmond is quiet and perfectly located near Golden Gate Park and various shops and restaurants. Walking distance to bus stops, bars, museums, Haight street, and many more! 1/2 block from Safeway, this neighborhood is quiet and safe! Please note that parking can be hard to find!

My roommate and I have a cozy private 1 bedroom in a 3 bedroom home. The room has all the essentials you need for your stay. There is a office desk, comfortable queen sized bed in the guest room along with a shared bathroom. We're a walk away from Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, Grace Cathedral and other San Francisco staples.

This is the review written by my former guest Grace who actually stayed with Nij: I had a pleasant stay at Nij and Derek's apartment. The location was perfect -- you only need 20 minutes walk to Union Square. I didn't see them that much, but they were friendly and helpful. Nij allowed us to go to their rooftop. From there you can see spectacular view of Golden Gate Bridge!

My home has 109 years. I can not completely erase the traces of use but your room is very clean, new mattress cover, new bed linen, new towel, new pillows. The tub, the toilet and the sink also has 109 years and is cleaned and sanitized every day deeply and protected from direct contact

Welcome !!! Amazing location!!! Yes! This is a Victorian house!!! The most trendy and international street at San Francisco. where you will find a mosaic of cultures and diversity food. The most fun street where you can be at the city. Valencia!! Valencia !! Valencia!!! Half block of the 24th bart station!!!

Jessica's place is great, it's got a lot of natural light and very open for an SF apartment. The bedroom and private bathroom were just what I needed and Jess was there to meet with me when I got in too. She was also very accommodating with my schedule so thanks for that.

Had a wonderful stay at Jessica's place. The room is nice, everything was clean and welcoming, and Jessica was so nice to meet me in the city near where I was to get me the keys. The room feels very private since it's at the other end of the home from the host's room. feels quite remote and secluded and has its own bathroom. Bathroom was fine... shower was a little weak but functional. The only slight issue is that the wifi is really spotty at the end of the house where you'll be staying. Loved the building and the neighborhood... felt very safe and walkable. Whole Foods is 1 block away... which was great! All in all, this was a wonderful stay.
