Dessert Shop
“If you’re celebrating something special, you cannot leave San Diego without indulging in a piece of cake (and maybe even a glass of bubbly) from the amazing dessert heaven! Definitely call ahead to make a reservation because this place is definitely a popular spot, especially on weekends! If you’re a chocolate fan, try my favorite, the Viking. Yes, it’s that epic! Chocolate crème brulee and milk chocolate cremeuse are hidden between chocolate cake layers. Crushed chocolate almond pralines surround this dark and dense torte. Another delicious chocolate cake is the Truffe Framboise. Raspberry gelée layered between raspberry Darjeeling tea moistened chocolate cakes and bittersweet Valrhona Taïnori chocolate mousse. This gorgeous layer cake is finished with fresh raspberries on the top. And last but certainly not least, the Gianduia! It is truly a delight! Valrhona chocolate mousse and hazelnut buttercream are married with boysenberry preserves and Myers’s Rum moistened cake layers. Crushed pralines, chocolate ganache, and fresh boysenberries finish off this chocolate layered cake. What more could you want as a chocolate lover???”
