This inn was a fantastic little place to stay right in the heart of St Augustine. It is an older building (which we expected), but kept very clean. Mary was very accommodating with my wife's gluten allergy and we truly enjoyed our entire stay. A great little place to explore the town from.

The Spanish Inn was a wonderfully cozy and warm environment that was spread through not only the rooms and the Inn, but in the staff as well. The location could not have been better with shops, food, nightlife, and desserts right at our finger tips. Centrally located within the heart of historic St. Augustine, the Spanish Inn offers the ideal experience for visitors and locals at any age.

First time to St. Augustine. The 44 Spanish St. Inn was the perfect place to stay in Old Town and the hosts were very accommodating.

You should totally stay here. Trust me on this. It was a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. The staff is amazing and so is the breakfast. I had the opportunity to stay in two rooms, Palm South and Magnolia. Both had their own character and unique features. I loved them both, but Magnolia was my favorite. The Inn is walking distance to pretty much everything in the historic district- restaurants, shops, you name it. Brian can give you suggestions on places to check out if you aren't familiar with the area. Choose 44 Spanish; you'll be glad you did!

You will have the most wonderful experience here! The whole staff is super friendly, and their number one desire is to make sure you are happy and comfortable. My fiancé and I stayed here to celebrate our engagement. The rooms were more than clean but smelled nice and decorated for a cozy ambiance. Breakfast is gourmet! And the area is very quiet despite being only one street down from the major traffic. We had a magical time and plan on returning!

Our stay at Vilano Beach was wonderful! Patricia is so welcoming and everything was very comfortable. Room was quiet and just like the picture and having breakfast every moment was such a nice added benefit. Loved the roof deck - only wish we stayed longer so we could have really enjoyed it.

What a great stay my husband and I had with Patricia! The room was large and had plenty of space. The bathroom was clean and plenty of space for sharing. The included breakfast was a great added bonus. Definitely spend some time on the rooftop deck. We spent a good bit of every morning reading and enjoying the ocean breeze. The house isn't far from the beach at all and it's just a short drive to the historic downtown area. You will not regret staying here!

We loved staying with Patricia at her beautiful home at Vilano Beach! The home is lovely with a rooftop deck and just a short 5-min walk to a pristine beach that was never crowded. This is a great location to explore nearby St. Augustine but has nice beaches and restaurants even closer. We ate at Beaches, a great waterfront restaurant and a perfect spot to watch the spectacular sunsets! Patricia is a charming and welcoming hostess-- she made everyone feel welcome and at ease. There are multiple rental rooms and there was an eclectic mix of guests from all over. We stayed a room with a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The guest in the adjoining room was very quiet but we would prefer a private bathroom next time. The breakfast provided by Patricia each morning was a great start to the day! We will definitely visit Patricia's home again!

Both Patricia and her place were warm and welcoming. My 9 year old son and I stopped in for a night on our way down to Florida, and Patricia was incredibly accommodating. She allowed us to check in late, and served us breakfast early so we could get on the road. We greatly lamented not having enough time to explore the beach just down the road, and the lovely holiday lights in nearby St Augustine. I'm quite certain we'll be back, and for a longer stay this time. If you are scooting down I-95, Patricia's place is easy to reach (and to leave).

I had a wonderful night at Patricia's house in St.Augustine. When we arrived around 6pm, Patricia gave us a short tour around her house, the house is very beautiful. Our room is pretty and clean. We shared a bathroom with another bedroom, but we found it OK. St. Augustine is a small city, so though the house is not at center of city, it only took us 15 mins to drive to historical center. After all, we are very satisfied with our stay here.

Wish I could have stayed more than one night. A beautiful accommodation, comfortable, great location. All this and full breakfast with homemade biscuits and jam.

My husband and I had a blast at Patricia's lovely home. Our favorite part was the super cool rooftop deck to enjoy the breeze and the amazingly beautiful Vilano Beach is just a short walk away and she even provides freshly laundered beach towels for your use. Breakfast was delicious with homemade biscuits, eggs, and fresh fruit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Great great great!!!! Wish I could have explored the beach and stayed longer!! Breakfast Rocks! The biscuits were so good. I ate 4 and love the coffee. Patricia is very cool and accommodated me last minute which is rare for Air b&b. Also met cool folks .... There are 5 rooms so it's a real b&b. I loved the roof top as well. Terry's home in a central location to everything St. Augustine has to offer. He and his wife offered great suggestions, and opened their beautiful home to us making my husband and I feel welcomed. This stay was wonderful; we can't wait to visit again!

Clean room and clean house, centrally located between the Old Town, the beach and the Anastasia State Park. Having the bikes was great! We really enjoyed exploring the town on them. Terry was a great host, very hospitable and helpful. His cappuccino is a must try!

This was our first experience with an airbnb stay and I have to say it was perfect. Our hosts, Terry and Sarah, made us feel very welcome. Our room was was private with a very comfortable bed, lots of choices of pillow types, and a big closet that was big enough to be a changing room! We sat out at the pool at night after spending time walking around to see the quaint St. George Street shops. Their house is not far from the beach where we walked off a few calories from the night before. We will be sure to stay with them again when we return to St. Augustine.

Terry and Sarah are truly lovely people. We stayed with them for 5 nights. Everything was very clean, their neighborhood is very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We had everything needed. Terry definitely went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I honestly felt like I was visiting a friend. Coffee, tea, and breakfast was provided every day. The pool area is very private and peaceful. Very nice stay.

Terry was an excellent host. The house is nice and secluded but also close to everything. Everything was very clean. The only issue we had was the house was a little warm at night and we're used to sleeping with the AC a little lower. The bed is very comfortable. I'd definitely consider staying again.

We didn't meet Pam in person. We arrived at night and this place is really really hard to find... House is clean and everything is there. Very close to historic district.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home felt very secluded - tons of wildlife and very close to the water. We walked downtown to the bars and it was a very quick 10-15 minute walk. We will definitely stay here next time we go to St. Augustine!

Pam is a lovely, warm person and we greatly enjoyed our visit.

Staying at Pam's place was a pleasant experience. While the room is older and a little quaint, the room is very private, with a separate entrance, allowing us to easily come and go as we please. She also recently put in a full bed instead of the single, a welcome addition. We didn't interact with Pam much, as we were frequently in an out. But when we did meet with Pam, she was very nice and made sure we had everything we need. The room is great for a quick stay when visiting St. Augustine.

We had a wonderful time staying with Pam. The location was perfect: far enough away from downtown to be quiet and lower traffic, but within easy walking distance to all the attractions. The room was comfortable and cozy; our only complaint is that my husband is quite tall and his feet bumped up against the foot of the bed frame. Pam made us a delicious breakfast and chatted with us on the patio; we really appreciated all her recommendations about how to spend our time in the city. We will definitely try to stay with Pam again the next time we're in St. Augustine!

Pam was very warm and welcoming. The room was larger, and more comfortable than I anticipated. The yard is quite with lush greenery that made me feel like I was in a secret garden. The neighborhood was quiet, and less than 3 blocks from "Old Town." She has two very friendly dogs, and a very friendly cat, all of which welcomed me as soon as I arrived. I will definitely be coming back! I really felt like I got 4 start quality for 3 star pricing. It was all very nice.

Conrad's place is well placed in town for close to all fun.

Conrad & John were a delight. They made us feel very welcomed and helpful to accommodating our needs.

Other than being greeted by an Ohio State alum who apparently did not approve of my blue jacket with a block gold M on it, we were greeted well and made to feel welcome. The location was good and we enjoyed our stay. Initially finding the front door was challenging, however, due to the Treasury Street construction. Would highly recommend that you provide clear instructions on how to best deal with the construction.

Nice inn at a good price. Location is very central and within walking distance to much of what St. Augustine has to offer. Would stay again.

The Pirate Haus is perfect for a group or family who want to do St. Augustine on a budget, but don't want to give up on location. My friends and I were here for a wedding and wanted to close to all the ceremonies, so it was perfect for us. Conrad and his team were very hospitable and helped us out when we had a late arrival. Pam was a really nice hostage! She made us feel home right from the beginning. Nice cozy room in a very good neibourhood and just a few minutes from the historical district. It was a pleasure for us and we'll come back!

Kim and I were Pam's first Air Bnb guests! We had a wonderful time in St. Augustine and Pam was a gracious hostess. The bed was clean and comfortable and you have your own entrance around the back of the house which is always nice. Her dogs are friendly and quiet. Pam made us breakfast and even played two songs on her Mandolin for us! Next time we visit St. Augustine we will definitely try to stay with Pam again!

Great place! 2 cute little bedrooms and a minimalist kitchen, connected to the most wonderful rear deck with flowering jasmine and shady trees. Within an easy walk of the Castillo de San Marcos. Highly recommended.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Pirate Haus Inn. All six of us were able to stay in one room together. My kids loved the bunkbeds and the special pirate themed touches (especially the bathroom!) The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The Pirate Haus is family friendly and we would definitely stay there again. My kids enjoyed the "family room" which is already equipped with toys and games. We also appreciated being able to use the kitchen. The location is great. It's in the heart of the old city and you can walk to almost all of the important sites, or hop on one of the many trolley stops that are also a short walk away. A stay at the Pirate Haus would enrich any visit to St. Augustine for the adventuresome and young at heart!

It was difficult to find the place since the road in front was under construction. Conrad was welcoming and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and things to do around town. The room was comfortable and the boys enjoyed the bunk beds. We were able to park our car for the weekend and walk everywhere we wanted to go. Very convenient location.

We loved our stay at the Pirate Haus and would gladly stay here again!! We arrived later in the evening on our check in day and Conrad had everything easily set up for us upon arrival! No fuss... we got to go straight to our room and had a little card filled with all of the "house instructions" we could have had questions about. In the AM Conrad made us personalized pancakes, winning my 3 year old over immediately! We were within walking distance to anything we desired to see in Downtown St. Augustine. We stayed in the Pirate Room which was comfy and cozy. We even met some great travlers from France in the common room the night before we left. So to recap: good food, new friends, great location, great price. What else could you ask for?!

Everything was as I've expected it. Parrish and Sherry were great hosts and gave me some really good recommendations what to do, where to eat and drink. It's like one mile far away from town, an easy ride by bike. St. Augustine was beautiful!

Place was fairly cluttered and the room was small. Apparently Hurricane Matthew had damaged their floors and the yard was cluttered with unfinished business.

This place is a great location for exploring St. Augustine and Anastasia Island State Park and we would definetely stay again.

Room was small. Listing seemed to suggest a private bungalow, separate from main house. This was not the case.

We loved everything about our stay, from the building's amazing history, amazing food, all the extra goodies like beach bikes and lighthouse tour tickets, and awesome staff.

We stayed at St. Francis Inn for two nights and loved it. The inn was comfortable with many small touches that made it feel like a special experience. The courtyard is a relaxing space and the breakfasts were delicious.

What a lovely B&B!! We were enchanted from the moment we arrived! Away from the touristy bustle of St Augustine, but close enough to walk into town for meals and to see the sights. We were delighted by the ambiance and history of the inn, and the service was great. We enjoyed the social hours, and the food at breakfast was top notch. I especially treasured spending time with the kitties-Zeke and Boots- while away from our own critters. Our room had been upgraded when we arrived- I had shared with the owner when I booked that it was our honeymoon, so assume that was the reason. What a nice surprise!! Our room faced the garden and had its own tiny bathroom- quite a bonus! We loved sitting out on the balcony after dark. Everything about the St Francis Inn was delightful! We would love to return!

We had an enjoyable time at the Inn while in St. Augustine. The Inn provides many nice touches such as the wine/appetizer hour in late afternoon as well as a evening dessert. The breakfast was exceptional. We stayed in the smallish room on the 3rd floor with the private bathroom at the end of the hallway. Our stay was early in the week so it did not present a problem for us (we have never had a room stay without an in-room bath). However I would not recommend this room-detached bathroom if staying over a busy weekend or in the height of the tourist season. They have many more rooms on their website which are much larger albeit more expensive. This room was very reasonable for the price.
