  • Great stay. Nice condo. Clean and thoughtfully appointed. Will recommend and stay again. Thanks!

  • Condo was exactly as described! Beds and rooms were comfortable. The spiral staircase to the loft, wood paneled ceilings, and pond in the back were all so stinking cute!

  • Great rental. Clean and close to town. The amenities were great throughout (kitchen, bedrooms, common area, etc). Great communication with the owner. Highly recommended.

  • Great place to stay and rate was adaquate

  • This is a quiet enoyable place to stay, not far from the downtown area, with a well supplied kitchen and clean modern bathrooms. Bedrooms are large enough and the beds arr comfortable. Andrea was easy to reach when we had any questions, and was definitely interested in her guests having a positive experience. This is a great place to stay while visiting Sandpoint, Schweitzer Mountain or other points in northern Idaho!

    Kelly2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts, great place for families or couples. Andrea was very quick to respond to our questions and needs. Being our first Airbnb experience this was very helpful, as she walked us through it all. Nice location close to Sandpoint, but away from downtown. The neighborhood was pretty quiet while we were there mid-week, shared the pool and tennis courts with the few people that were around. Very comfortable accommodations for a family of 4-5 with teenagers, or 4-6 with younger children, or two couples even! Well appointed kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and deck with a pond behind. Overall an enjoyable and memorable stay!

    Dustin2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great choice for a getaway no matter what time of year. It's in a great community with beautiful condos, and the lake is a short distance away. Andrea was a fantastic host, and the condo is clean, modern, with a great back yard and deck. Even though it rained the week by boyfriend and I were there, it was still a great place to stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

  • Thanks for everything. Condo was well stocked with supplies, gear, toys. We enjoyed our stay and the reno looks great. Located overlooking the shallow pool, which worked for us as the kids were at that one exclusively. Also overlooks the lake. Communication was quick and everything went perfect.

  • Sean's place is conveniently located near downtown and City Beach. The condo is very modern, clean, well equipped and you have access to the swimming pool. My daughters (9 & 7 yrs old) enjoyed the place. Sean was a good host. He provided suggestions on activities to do in Sandpoint. I would recommend his place for families and couples alike.

    Fabian2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Sean's house was fantastic. It is located walking distance to city beach, local restaurants and grocery stores. The amenities are great. There is a shallow pool behind the unit (overlook pool while on balcony). Great for little kids. The condo complex has communal bbq's (no bbq on balcony), basketball and volleyball courts, tennis courts and two pools. It's all very clean and well maintained. Definitely great for families, not a party place! The condo was exactly as represented by the pictures. Meticulously clean (I am neurotic and very picky). Toiletries were provided in both bathrooms, there were cleaning supplies as well which made it very easy to maintain cleanliness. Also a washer and dryer in the unit. Sean also provided games and cards, tennis rackets and balls, and a basketball which allowed us to use the complex more. We didn't really have any issues but he was easy to reach for questions. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • Wayne and Julia were awesome hosts! They gave us food recommendations, their home was clean and welcoming, and Julia made a bomb breakfast in the morning! We'd definitely come back if ever in the area again!

    Justin2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful one night stay with Julia and Wayne on a trip to northern Idaho! The house in tucked away in the country-side just a few minutes from the town of Sandpoint. We arrived close to midnight and Julia had a light on and a note directing us to our room. The stairs to the rented rooms are a straight shot from the front door, so we didn't disturb Julia or Wayne with our nocturnal arrival. The "Idaho" room was exceptionally clean and tidy with lovely and tasteful decor, and Julia left a nice welcome basket with a couple treats and info on the area. The bed was very comfortable and the room had blackout curtains so we weren't woken by the sun in the wee hours. There is a room across the hall and a small shared bathroom between the two. There is a bathroom downstairs that is available as well. Both bathrooms have showers, but per Julia the downstairs one is more user friendly as she is working on a better adapter for the shower handle for the tub upstairs. There were other guests staying that night, but we only saw them briefly. Wayne had already left for work by the time we left, so we didn't have the chance to meet him, but Julia provided a great breakfast and was lovely conversation in the morning. She offered us some excellent coffee and advice on the area as well. They do have several pets (2 cats and 3 dogs), but the smaller dogs were put away, the black lab (who is a senior citizen) was outside, and only one cat was around for attention. So if you have allergies be forewarned, but don't worry about the pets being obtrusive, and they aren't allowed upstairs. I didn't see any hair in the room or smell pets at all in the room or the rest of the house! Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay with Julia and Wayne next time we are in the area.

  • What a charming and welcoming place to stay! We had such a lovely time for the two nights we stayed. Very comfortable bed and room. The whole place felt like home after a very short time. Wayne and Julia are such nice people, very funny and enjoyable to be around! The sourdough waffles we had the first morning were literally to die for. I can't wait to be permanent in the area, we have definitely made some friends! All of their pets are very friendly and definitely remind you of home, yet aren't underfoot or overbearing. Would recommend 100%!

    ashley2016-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Wayne were incredibly sweet and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, with plenty of room for storage. She offered breakfast, including delicious local coffee...nice touch! The location was great, if you'd rather be out of town but still close enough to run in. Entertaining critters abound in her (URL HIDDEN) you're sure you have a laugh while sitting at the table. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, felt at home, and would return. Thank you J and W! :)

    Brandy2016-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Wayne and Julia was awesome! It is kind of odd leaving a review for someone you feel like you've known for a long time - but that's how personable Julia is. If you're going to host for AirBnB, this is how you do it :) I could rant on about how they excel in every category, but you'll just have to check them out for yourselves. I can say with high confidence, you will not find anything better for your money in Sagle/Sandpoint!

    Mike2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • My husband was reluctant to try a bnb for our anniversary, but this experience made a fan out of him! We had an amazing overnight experience, and loved the privacy, warmth, and above-and-beyond amenities provided by Julia! We brought our 3-month-old baby along, and Julia even made a pack-n-play available so we didn't have to bring one with us. All three rooms in the bnb were booked while we were there, which could have felt like a full house, and yet we still felt personally spoiled... between the yummy coffee and private balcony to the delicious scratch-made blueberry pancake breakfast. Conversation was easy and we felt like we were welcomed as family. I'd love to come back sometime... a great way to experience Sandpoint. We loved getting a morning swim in at Springy Point Recreation Area, where we could have walked to from the house if not for having the baby in tow. The neighborhood felt safely rural and yet was so close to all you'd want to experience in the area. Julia had wonderful dining recommendations, and has a great vision for continuing to improve her home and bnb. I'm sure it will only get better and better, and for the price it is already as good as it gets. LOVED our stay, and will be recommending to friends for sure!

    Megan2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • I had the most amazing time staying here. The room was large and the bed was so comfortable! There was even a private balcony! Breakfast was delicious and there was coffee available at every turn. More than the place itself (which deserves every rave review on here and more) Julia and her family are the kindest, most welcoming people. I would recommend staying with them in a heartbeat. I felt like family, and I was only with them one night. Don't miss out on this booking!

    Mariko2016-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • My short stay here was exactly what I wanted. Wayne and Julia were attentive without being intrusive, and everything was very clean and tidy without feeling untouchable. The animals were well-behaved and friendly, and even though the weather was in the 80s while I was there, my room stayed at a good temperature simply with drawing the blinds and leaving the windows open. Coffee and conversation with Julia in the morning was something special. It's true that the noise of the trains is extremely faint, not a problem at all. There are several turnoffs from the highway that lead to the street where the house is, and the northernmost one opens directly south of the bridge leading into Sandpoint, so it's very close to downtown. I would love to stay here again.

  • We loved our stay! The house is situated perfectly near the heart of Sandpoint. Very easy to walk to all the little shops and eateries the center of town has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed the over all sense of design throughout the house. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The bed is firm yet quite comfortable. We truly appreciated all the efforts that were made to make us feel right at home. It was a great jumping off point for our Sandpoint adventure. We would stay here again if the opportunity arises!

  • Wonderful location! Comfortable home, even for a family of 6.

  • Jennings was so responsive to our needs, and her place was exactly as she describes it. Sometimes with a dog you feel like you have to settle for less (less clean, etc), but it was not the case at all here. I would definitely book again the next time I am in Sandpoint!

    Nate2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time. Perfect location!

    Natalie2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very cute home within walking distance to everything in downtown Sandpoint. Our stay was in July in 90+ degree weather but the house was cool and comfortable with a window unit air conditioner in the living room. Jennings was very helpful with suggestions on things do during our vacation and the house had everything we needed.

    Denisha2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great for getting out to see Sandpoint, very central location, everything walkable in town . The house was clean and all amenities you need are there. Jennings was a great host, very helpful, would stay again.

    Mike2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for a girls weekend getaway for my friend and I. The location was ideal if you aren't in the mood to drive everywhere, because everything (stores, restaurants, beach) is literally just a few blocks away! Jennings was so great at communication and made our stay so wonderful! Thank you Jennings!

    "THIRD & LAKE" Downtown
    27 reviews
The biggest selling point on this sunny studio is location. We are located three blocks from the main downtown strip and 1/2 mile from City Beach. This is an ideal spot for the Festival at Sandpoint or concerts at the Hive. You truly get to experience the quirky and sweet character of Sandpoint from this little studio. This would be an ideal location for a small family or a couple traveling. I currently have one full bed set up, but if you would like, I can set up and aero bed as well.
This is a studio separate from the main house. Guests will have a private entrance and access to a studio area and bathroom. I will provide a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and a few basics, but this space does not have a full kitchen. It would be a good fit for a small family traveling with kids or a couple. Although I have an extra air mattress, this would be a small space for two couples to stay in. I am on site, but interact with guests minimally. I also have a pack and play that I would be happy to set up for guests with small children. Pets are welcome!
This studio is right in the heart of Sandpoint. Literally blocks from downtown attractions like the Panida, MickDuffs, Kochava, City Beach, and the Farmer's Market. This is about a mile walk to the Festival at Sandpoint, and a 15-20 minute drive to Schweitzer.
  • Fantastic place! Great location minutes from downtown! Beach is very close by as well making for a nice place to cool down on hot days. There were lots of restaurants to choose from with live outdoor music . We plan on coming back!

    Tierra2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in the middle of everything yet very quiet and clean. Kaley is very available yet allows privacy.

  • A great little place for walking to town or the music festival. Sandpoint has a lot of restaurants, shops and a couple breweries! Kaley was very attentive and available for helping you with any questions. A good accommodation for two people.

  • quiet and very clean studio

    Lorry2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cute place! Short walk to the downtown! They have an awesome cat as well!

    Ebony2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, and if you want to be in the center of Sandpoint and close to everything while saving a few $s vs. a hotel, this is the place. Kaley is great, friendly, and easy to work with. The unit is very functional, lots of storage, and has plenty of space for two people; there's easily room for a couple of kids on an air mattress if it's allowed. The only significant shortfall we experienced was the lack of an AC unit; if you're coming during an extended hot spell (90's +), it's something to be aware of, as there's only a fan. It cools down at night, and if you close the windows by mid-morning, it's okay until later in the afternoon, but then the temp can rise to 80+ or so. PS - Kaley had a great, large basket full of misc. toiletries, ibuprofen, and so on that we were free to use - something I've never seen before beyond a bar of soap and maybe a little shampoo. We didn't need anything in this instance, but there have been times in the past that this would have been a life-saver! And, we appreciated the fruit and cookies as well!

    Russ2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Kaley's studio was great! Super clean and comfortable. Everything was very close and Kaley was super helpful! Would recommend it to anyone!

  • Communication with Lindy was excellent throughout. She even accommodated us for an extra night when our travel plans changed. Good location for walking/biking to downtown. Nice neighbor. This quirky studio worked for us as we were with friends most of the day & evening so just needed a quiet place to stay and make our own breakfast. There is no train or highway noise. A portable a/c unit was installed just before we arrived and it cooled the space very quickly!

    Jennifer2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Was a very nice home that had everything we needed and had nice neighbors that helped us with knowing the town.

    Crystal2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • It's a great location, size is fine for 2 adults and neighborhood is charming, also a great price. Is a bit cluttered with owner's decor on most surfaces and curb appeal is very neglected and nothing like the outside photo online with roses and green grass. It was pretty chaotic and messy outside.

    Fae2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lindy's place was perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better Airbnb for my 2 night stay. The studio has everything you need from a comfortable bed, to a small kitchen, to a very fun European-style bathroom, a desk/workspace, and easy street parking. And you can walk to an amazing natural foods store from this studio! Lindy was so kind and accommodating as well. I rented this Airbnb last minute and she responded right away and got me all set up and moved in that evening. I will definitely be renting Lindy's studio again next time I'm in Sandpoint!

  • We had a wonderful stay. The room was great (comfortable, quiet, and secure) and ready upon our arrival. Good location. There is a little independent bakery nearby and the easy walking distance to the local Farmers Market, the City Beach, and adult beverage establishments will bring us back to this location for a future get-away! This was our first airbnb experience and were pleased with everything from the reservation process, communication, check-out, and overall value. Thank you very much for sharing your property with us!

    Summer2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful, simple little studio. Perfect location--can easily walk or bike to the downtown center, City Beach, shops, etc. great hostess--very reliable in responding quickly, kind. Would absolutely stay again.

    nicole2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, cute spot, amazing value. I would come back again, no hesitation.

    Scott2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • There was big bag of garbage and a pile of wet towels in the middle of the room when I arrived. The bed still had the previous occupant's sheets tangled on top. No communication from host or anyone connected to the property for the entire length of my stay. There was a magnetic screen improperly tacked to the doorway so that the magnets didn't connect, creating a useless eyesore (or had the unit been broken into, and this was to cover it up?) I stayed because it was too late to find a reservation elsewhere, and this was my first airbnb experience, and I had my dog with me. The unit was thoughtfully appointed and in good condition, apart from all of the above. There is no AC, so it can never be really comfortable on hot nights. The screened window in the door has to be open for ventilation, making it easy for a prowler to cut the screen and reach in to unlock the door. I would have never stayed there without my dog, because of this. Can't recommend this one.

  • This was a perfect couple's getaway space. Very clean and cozy and a great location for easy access to downtown and the mountain. It was about a 12 minute walk to downtown (very easy in the snow, sidewalks were clear) and a 25 minute drive to the peak. Jeannie was a great host as well. She was available right away to answer any questions we had. We will definitely come back!

This is a modern lakefront condo right on beautiful Lake Pend Orielle in the Seasons at Sandpoint development. One of the best views you will find anywhere! Development has pool, beach, gym, and is located so that guests can walk to downtown!
View, view, and view! This is one of my favorite views anywhere.
Seasons at Sandpoint is THEY place to stay in Sandpoint. Right on the water and a short walk to the shops and restaurants in the downtown area.
  • This unit is great, the view superb and the location just couldn't be any better!

    Shelley2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Great location and view. The pool is lovely We would definitely stay here again!

  • If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful place to stay, for a couple of days or even longer, this is the place for you. Stunningly beautiful condo, very functional and accomodating with a wonderful and inviting decor, and very well kept, oh! and with a stunning view of the lake and marina! If that was not enough, close and safe walk to town for some great eateries, one in particular, Second Avenue Pizza (Go Hungry and don't pay to close attention to the building because your in for a treat of some great out of this world Pizza). I can not say enough great things of the condo, of course we had the master which is like waking up in heaven when you open your eyes to the water view. Of the other 2 rooms, the second room was comfortable but no view and the 3rd room, make sure you let your guest know that this room is more like a study with a trundle bed so they are not dissapointed, but again, the condo common areas and the building location will more than make up for it. This condo has one of the largest decks with a fabulous view I have even seen. Have fun! We look forward to coming back again and again. Cheers

  • Chris provided excellent hospitality prior too, and throughout our entire stay. The large condo is simply superb, and the location is absolutely beautiful - Sandpoint and Chris's condo is a fabulous location.

    John2017-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location with a killer view of the lake right on the water! The condo is very spacious and completely quiet. The seasons amenities are also top notch. Large jacuzzi and heated pool along with underground parking. They could've put a little more into the fitness center but great facilities with a private beach

    Steve2016-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Chris was a great host and very helpful in explaining how to get the keys to get into the condo. We really enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this area and vacation home.

  • Great location and a great view of the water and mountains. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but did check it out and looked really nice. Nice big kitchen and living room. I had a couple question and Chris answered me right away. I would recommend this place.

One of a kind 3-story treehouse situated on Lake Pend O'reille overlooking the lake and private dock. Featured in Great Homes of Idaho and other publications, the treehouse is located just two miles outside of downtown Sandpoint with access to local restaurants, shopping, galleries, antiquing and night spots. Accross the street from paved trail for walking or cycling into town. Ideal for a romantic getaway or a peaceful place to escape from it all.
  • This place was absolutely perfect in every way. I need to come back. I posted pictures on Instagram and so many of friends responded that they want to come stay here too! It was the most magical weekend away and Jon and Becky are fabulously attentive and caring hosts!!

    Kelly2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We knew as soon as we saw the listing this place would be special, and we were not disappointed. We were looking for a quiet getaway from our busy lives and the treehouse provided just that. The view couldn't be beat and with a couple eagles that liked to occupy one of the trees above us, we were treated to wonderful sounds each morning. This treehouse is a gem from the perfect decor down to the small design details. Absolutely beautifully made. Jon and Becky were gracious hosts, meeting with us to give us a little history of the peppery (also beautiful) and making sure we felt at home. If our travels ever bring us back to this area, we will return to this peaceful getaway.

    Jennie2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • The tree house was amazing! We had a private dock with beautiful views all weekend. And not mention outstanding hospitality! We will definitely be back again

    Andrew2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jon and Becky have a a truly extraordinary place! As soon as I saw the listing I knew I wanted to stay there. And it was even more wonderful than I could have predicted. First off the treehouse is full of character - the detail and design from the unique design features to the furniture gives it such a homey feel, and the views are spectacular - not to mention being among the trees. Being right on the lake was perfect for a relaxing weekend - you can enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise from the porch or living room, sit on the dock, or kayak on the lake. Jon gave an informational tour when I arrived of the history of the treehouse and a run down of some things to do in the area - he was a gracious host and helpful as I began to plan out my weekend. I would highly recommend staying at the treehouse - it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and Jon and Becky couldn't have been more kind and welcoming!

    Paul2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the treehouse! It was the most perfect getaway and a completely unique experience. The artistry and craftsmanship of this little gem is very impressive, every detail is fascinating. Although the weather was rainy during our trip, the sitting area was inviting and we enjoyed sipping tea, staring out of the huge picture window at the breathtaking views of Lake Pend O'reille. I wish this was my house!! We could not have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing weekend. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us...can't wait to come back!

    Mark2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Can not speak highly enough about this place. There were homemade cookies waiting for us and Becky gave us a quick tour of the house. The tree house has an amazing view of the lake and we were able to fish and use their kayaks and paddle boards. Jon was easy to get in touch with when needed and his wife was very warm and friendly. I. showed pictures of this to my wife's parents and they want to drive up from Idaho falls to stay here, that's how much we enjoyed it.

    Greg2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jon made sure that he was there to greet us upon arrival, and he walked us through the treehouse to show us every detail, and also gave us some neat information on how the place was built! This was truly a wonderful weekend getaway, it is very peaceful with the most beautiful view! I highly recommend Jon and Becky as hosts, and we will definitely be booking another stay in the future!

    Kristen2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing from the moment you step out of your car. The setting on the lake and the amazing tree house. You just can't stop smiling at the thought you are in a tree house! Jon and Becki are great and gave us a fabulous tour on arrival. The tree house history adds even more to the experience. Truly, nothing could have been better...except we had to leave!!

  • This space was PHENOMENAL! Steps from super cute downtown Sandpoint and a short drive up the mountain to Schweitzer. Kalli and Michael were super responsive and made sure everything was perfect. Don't stay anywhere except this AirBNB when you are in Sandpoint - you won't be disappointed!

  • Great little apartment! Kalli went above and beyond and left some organic fruit and food for us! She also had beautiful fresh flowers in the window sill and a heater blanket for our feet. We loved having the enclosed private yard for our puppy to play in! Hopefully we can come back to stay soon.

  • We loved our stay!! The hosts were easy to communicate with and made our accommodations very pleasant. They were thoughtful stocking the fridge with half and half, coconut milk and butter. They presented us with a nice bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. The studio was cozy and warm and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We were within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Sandpoint. We will definitely stay here again!!

    Kami2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome spot! What a deal being that close to down town! Super nice. High end and all the little things in the room like cream and condiments was really nice. The fire pit would have been awesome if we didn't pass out every night from having young kids! The shower head like a few ppl have posted is actually awesome like they had said! We will defiantly use this place again. Sand point is awesome!

    Adam2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is the Best! A very comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, rain shower with excellent water pressure and even a private yard with patio. The neighborhood is a nice and quiet area outside of town. In the house manual I have suggestions and recommendations for shopping, tours and restaurants in town and close by.
  • Daniela was great, available for check in with all the info on the house and area, friendly, accommodating. The condo had everything we needed - shampoo, entertainment, a fully stocked kitchen including snacks and coffee and tupperware. The area was beautiful, the condo was tastefully decorated and finished. The yard, tiki bar, hot tub, and fire pit were beautiful and had great ambiance.

  • The room and amenities were excellent. Very comfortable

    Matt2015-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Daniela is very welcoming and friendly. It's easy to come and go. My only advice would be that if you are traveling with a child that needs to sleep where it's very quiet, be cautious about staying here. You can hear everything happening up stairs and the train blowing its horn is very loud. Thankfully our infant is a great sleeper. I would stay here again if it were just my husband and myself.

  • Daniela and Russ were amazing hosts. The studio was very homey and the bed was comfortable! Fireplace was a nice touch as well, and kept it nice and cozy in there! Jacuzzi was wonderful after a day of snowshoeing and hiking. Daniela was extremely easy to communicate with and even found us some good snowshoeing trails! The train wasn't much of a bother to us because we were so tired at the end of each day. Great place!!

Private room and bath in beautiful older home. You will feel welcome the moment you walk in the front door. My home, having been filled with music and art for many years, has an uncanny way of drawing lovely people and good energy to it.
Guests will have their own cozy and comfortable private room with queen size bed and adjoining private bathroom with a shower.
The house is located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood in the north end of town.
  • Beth was very hospitable and congenial. She told us about the house and made some worthy suggestions about the area.

    Galen2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Beth's home is so welcoming and inviting. Everything is clean and well cared for. It is also in a great location. We completely enjoyed our stay and getting to know Beth! I would highly recommend.

  • Beth was very flexible with my arriving late due to traffic in Seattle. She was great in communication, at one point she even called me as I was messaging her my ETA. Her home was very welcoming and her kitty is a sweetheart. I very much enjoyed my time in Sandpoint and staying with Beth. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

    Kyle2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful home filled with the warmth of Beth's hospitality, music, the wood-burning fire stove and hot tub soaking.

    Bevie2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beth offered a lovely atmosphere with her gracious hospitality, comfortable home filled with antiques and art and her wealth of musical experiences. Since we have a musical background, we enjoyed hearing her stories as a performer and her songs on the guitar. We enjoyed Beth's warm personality, creativity and dedication to her work as an Airbnb host. She also shared helpful resources about the beautiful Sandpoint area.

    John2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • My first Airbnb experience, couldn't have been better! Coming from Australia on the long haul and jetlagged, Beth made for a warm welcoming environment. I had a lot to accomplish in the area for the short week I was there, and Beth was so helpful with pointing me in the right direction. Not a moment wasted. That left a bit of time for rest and relaxation with old friends, including attending one of Beth's gigs singing and playing guitar! Wonderful! I highly recommend Ruth Ave. You may check out, as I did, with a new friend!

    Janet2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay could not have been more pleasant. The bedroom was charming, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy, very clean, and modern. We liked the privacy afforded by the location of the bedroom and bathroom. Beth was very warm and welcoming. Beth's home is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. In susequent visits to Sandpoint, we will not consider staying anywhere else.

    Gonzalo2016-08-15T00:00:00Z

Extremely comfortable modern house with top-notch modern cabin feel, upscale appliances and high quality furniture. What more could you want? The best beds you can ask for, high quality furnishings, indoor/outdoor fireplace, lots of storage areas, private garage and driveway and a wrap-around porch complete with a brand new hot tub and BBQ grill. • We had a wonderful stay at Brian's "cabin" in Dover Bay. The house was spacious and beautiful...plenty of room for our 6 adults and 6 kids! (Though we did have to draw straws as couples to determine who would get the two awesome "master suites.") Everything was super clean and orderly when we arrived. The house was equipped with plenty of entertainment for being homebound on the insanely cold days that we were there, including a sweet hot tub, movies, and games... Karen, the property manager was readily available for any questions or concerns we had. I would definitely recommend staying here on your next visit to the Sandpoint area.

    Annalee2017-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Brian's home was just the perfect place for relaxation, outdoor activities, and easy access to Sandpoint. He and his property manager were so hospitable and so easy to work with. The place was clean, affordable, and in a perfect location. I would highly recommend them and their quaint, comfortable home.

  • We had a great time at this cabin, skiing is close, so is town, and the cabin is very nice. Brian and the property manager were both very communicative and check in was a breeze. The cabin was a great value for the money, we had ten people, and everyone had a bed and was very comfortable.

The house is clean, plenty of dishes and flatware, towels etc. Short drive or walk to Joe and Roll cafe or the Dish on the water! We had a fantastic time and would rent again!

Please be respectful of our neighrbos. They appreciate it when we have good behavior at the castle.
  • Great place!

  • This is a very unique property as well as a large house. We enjoyed all of it. From the fire (Smores) pit in the back, to the large deck and view. My 6-6 son, found that it took 60 of his steps to go from the kitchen to the television room. My granddaughters loved their freedom in such a large space. My wife was completely taken in with the kitchen. The lack of wi-fi was also a boon. No one had their faces in their phones, pads, or computer. We actually had to converse with each other. It was awesome. We hope to go back someday.....

    Brad2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • The host canceled this reservation 23 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

    Hannah2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Book this place! You will love it! The castle is even more beautiful than the pictures and was a perfect spot for our small family gathering to celebrate our mom's 75 birthday. It helped us make her feel like a queen! We especially loved cooking together in the large kitchen. Access to the lake is nearby and easy, and other amenities are not far. The caretaker was welcoming, helpful and available. I hope we can visit again someday!

    Wendy2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The castle was the perfect setting for our family reunion! We had five families, and each one was able to have their own spacious bedroom and bathroom. Because it's such an expansive floor plan, we didn't have to worry about toddlers waking the whole house in the early am, or the teens keeping us up too late. We loved the private setting and the stunning views -- we had dinner outside on the patio each night. The spaciousness of the house enabled all 15 of us to enjoy our own space without feeling too cramped. We had a boat, and it was so easy to trailer it down to the Trestle Creek launch just 5 minutes away. We enjoyed some hikes and waterfalls in the area, and the Sandpoint farmer's market for local treats like morel mushrooms and huckleberry pastries. Overall, the castle was a fantastic venue for our gang, and left us with memorable family experience. Thank you!!

Cozy camping cabin in western rustic style that sleeps up to 6, just minutes from the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Lake Pend Oreille, on 10 private, wooded acres with views of the Selkirk Mountains, outdoor hot tub and shower, and fire pit.
The location 9 miles from downtown Sandpoint is super private and quiet. The cabin is truly a work of art with blued pine, corrugated rusty metal ceiling, and many rustic touches and special details. The cabin measures 14x14 with a 14x12 covered porch, plus an 80-square-foot loft. This is modeled after camping cabins in state parks but way cooler and with comfortable beds and bedding provided. It is a dry cabin with no running water. It really is camping, or glamping as it's called. A two-burner hot plate, microwave, toaster over, small fridge with freezer, coffee maker and electric tea kettle make it possible to make meals on-site. Some guests even cook over the campfire. Water is on-site with two frost-free hydrants near the cabin. We're talking tasty well water here! There's a rustic hand built outhouse and a beautiful outdoor hot tub under the stars that seats five with a lounge. A unique outdoor shower is the newest addition to the property, along with an outdoor sink (seasonal use). Inside the vintage pine trunk are games, local guidebooks, tourism publications and extra blankets. In the crate under the counter are plastic food wrap and wax paper, matches, hand sanitizer, hand soap, dish soap, a few hand towels and wash cloths, a hot pad, an assortment of condiments, salt and pepper, and sugar. A trivet and basin are hanging on the walls above the counter. Please use the trivet to set hot pots and pans on, and the basin for washing up. A 2-gallon water container is provided for your use. Please don't leave it on the counter wet as stains the wood. The property includes a house and an RV site that allows for the possibility of group retreats. The house is a vacation rental from November through April, and we live in it from May through October. You may see other guests on the property and may have to alternate usage of the hot tub, or you may have the whole place to yourselves. Weekends, summers and holidays are busy. The cabin and RV site share the same driveway and are visible but filtered through trees. The house is not visible from the cabin and has its own driveway. RV use is sporadic and mostly in the summer season. Part of our mission is to give people an affordable way to visit Sandpoint. Rates range from $60 to $95 a night depending on the season and number of guests. We have accommodations for horses and dogs too for an extra fee.
The Selle Valley is a very desirable neighborhood north of Sandpoint. The cabin sits in the heart of the valley where the land is zoned agricultural. When people come to my property, they love the rural setting surrounded by hay fields and views of two mountain ranges, the peace and quiet, and the beauty of the woods. No neighbors are within view; the closest neighbors are 800 feet away. The RV site is on the other side of the outdoor shower and faces east in the opposite direction; it shares the same driveway as the cabin. The host's house is about 250 feet away from the cabin and is not within sight. The cabin has its own driveway and faces west looking out to the yard, barn, woods and a large hayfield.
  • Billie's cabin is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. We soaked up the stars while we soaked in the hot tub, and without light pollution it was an amazing sight. We cooked bratwursts over the fire, watched the sunset, which was only made more amazing by the beautiful deer that passed just a few feet in front of us. My husband and I got the much needed quiet quality time that we needed. We will definitely return. Thanks so much Billie!

  • Billie was a great host!! The little cabin worked out perfect for 3 adult couples. It was super clean, beds were comfortable, we cooked breakfast out on the porch in the morning. Came up on a Friday evening, went to Laughing Dog for a few beers and to McDuffs for dinner. Billie even let us bring out our two springers who slept in the back of our truck but had a great time running around in the woods.

  • A delightful accommodation for six people, wonderful location, fabulous shower, hot tub and out house, we had a list of things to do in the area but where so relaxed we all loved being just at the cabin!!! Billie is a great host ! We would go back!

    Estelle2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful view, great outhouse, tasty well water. Outdoor sink was very useful, and the resident horse was an added bonus. The cabin was cozy, relaxing, and everything we hoped. Billie is a wonderful resource for the Sandpoint area. We can't wait to visit again!

  • This place is magical, we can't wait to come again. Thanks again!

    Elizabeth2015-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • A really great retreat and vacation spot, we would definitely come back. Beautiful! Close to town but feels secluded.

    Caitlin2016-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing stay at Billie's cabin! She was a lovely, helpful host and the cabin was prepared beautifully for our arrival. We spent two awesome days exploring the area, enjoying the hot tub, making campfires, and more. What a great spot!

    Bailey2015-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • We fell in love with Billie's cabin from the moment we arrived! Superb craftsmanship and rustic decor, in a super quiet setting.... We were in heaven. Taking a dip in the hot tub out under the stars was an experience to remember. We saw several shooting stars! We also loved the outdoor shower and the little outhouse was even cute too. Billie is a fabulous, friendly and outgoing host who checked on us several times during our stay to make sure we were ok. She was easy to communicate with, and really went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. We only regret that our stay was so short!!! Ps. The bedding was amazing- we all slept so hard and so long- we were shocked to see that it was 10:30am when we awoke!

This cabin is just off of Highway 95 (1.2 miles) on Lake Cocolalla. It is 12 miles from Sandpoint and 35 miles from Coeur d'Alene. A small cozy 400 square foot getaway. Easy, private access. If and when we get snow the road will be plowed.
On the lake with morning sunrise and a dock.
The neighborhood is mostly summer homes so the homeowners are always in summer fun mode if they are present.
  • Lonny was extremely receptive and helpful with our schedule - welcome coffee and breakfast. I liked having him next door to answer questions. He was a great host!

    Judi2016-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lonny is a great host, very congenial and his directions made it easy to find his quaint little lakefront cabin. It really is just steps to the lake and there is a huge window with a lovely view of the same. Great drinking water right from the tap. This was our first trip to Idaho and he gave us helpful tips on which routes were the most scenic.

    Dianne2015-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location and awesome host!!

    Randy2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Just loved this location and the host was very nice. We had a long conversation with him about the surrounding area.

    Sheryl2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is right on the lake as advertised and in the summer must be lovely. We had a fire on the evening we stayed at Cocolalla and that was fun. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has pots and dishes to cook. However, I think the cabin is getting a bit worn, ripped wallpaper and blind secured by clothes pins. Needs a bit of a face lift.

    Rosemary2015-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • I now love Lonny's little lakefront cabin like I love my favorite fleece-lined flannel jacket. Sure, it's just a bit shabby round the edges, but the fit is easy, it is soft and cozy where it counts, and you can tell it's been well-loved through good times. For three aging former tent campers seeking a simpler but still casual alternative, one of whom now needs a sleep machine and some mobility aids, and all of whom have old bones, it was just about perfect, and once that new AC is installed properly through the wall it will be even better in heat waves. The kitchen gear is pretty basic (always bring a good knife or two to an airbnb rental if you really intend to cook, because most places can't stock good ones because visitors take them), but most of what is needed to cook and eat basic foods is there (and Lonny would likely loan you things if you needed something that wasn't in the cottage). There were plenty of clean towels and extra blankets, and everything was neat and clean upon arrival. Fishing off the dock was a mixed bag. I usually have better luck with worms, but we could jig all the crappies we wanted to eat from under the dock, so we did do some catching as well as fishing. And all that sparkling water is so pretty! Such a joy every hot day when the sun would cross over and we could open the sun-deflecting white drapes by the dining table and let in the lake. Floating in our new three-person conversation ring was fun. We tied it to the dock with a hundred foot nylon rope so we could float around and then haul ourselves back in easily, a pleasant way to cool off on a hot afternoon. So was swimming off the dock, though a simple swimmer's ladder at or near the end of the dock would make it easier for us oldsters to get in and out without dealing with the slippery rocks at the shore end. And now to join in the chorus of what a fabulous host Lonny is! Coffee, bagels, cream cheese, and all-fruit spread were waiting for us on arrival, as well as some fresh wildflowers in the bed area. Lonny was so friendly when he came down to meet us that we felt even more at home, and we (all of our party of three being musicians and singers) even got to share some tunes with Lonny and some lovely musician friends of his, out on his deck overlooking the lake. He is so friendly and easy going that you could not ask for a nicer host for a successful airbnb experience. My only regret is that our stay was limited to three days, but we will try to remedy that next summer. You know it's a great rental when the minute you get home you find yourself scheming about how to get back and stay longer!

    Sharon2016-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • The host was friendly and polite . The neighborhood is mostly vacation homes and cabins. Modest. Slept well. Relaxed. The good weather helped the experience .

    Angela2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lonny was very welcoming and friendly. He gave great directions to the out-of-the-way cabin, and we did not get lost. Unfortunately, due to an emergency back home, we were only able to stay for one night. I would love to come back again sometime, the lake is beautiful and very relaxing!

  • We had a great weekend at Silverwood thanks, in part, to our hosts, Wayne and Julia. Their home provided a quiet, comfortable stay during our visit to northern Idaho, and we especially enjoyed the homemade breakfasts each morning. Thanks again Wayne and Julia for your hospitality!

  • Julia went above and beyond to make our stay here as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was outstanding! Great coffee, freshly laid eggs, and the best waffles I have ever tasted.

  • Above and beyond. Little details made it a great stay. I Highly recommend it.

    Gus2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Wayne are amazing hosts, they are so much fun to be with and really made us comfortable. This was our first trip to Idaho as well as using Airbnb. We felt like part of their family as the week went by. Julia's cooking is beyond anything you can go out and buy. We so enjoyed her homemade foods sourdough waffles, English muffins, sourdough grain bread and homemade tortillas that she made the most amazing smothered burritos with. They shared all of their favorite locations on the area so we could see the beautiful surroundings. They have put a lot of hard work and time into the accommodations. The Texas room was so cozy with our own balcony which we walked out on in the mornings to see the whitetail deer just across the road in the fields sometimes 20 at a time. They have turkeys that favor the area which seem to enjoy being a part of the local ambiance and numerous types of wildlife throughout the area. Its breathtaking and the air is clean and refreshing. I absolutely loved the vintage décor of their home, it is relaxing and definitely took us back to great times of our youth. We have fully recommended a stay at the Idle Day Cottage to many friends and family for future visits and we can not wait to get back and enjoy Idaho on our new property, Thank you Julia and Wayne for all of the kindness and laughs. Julia I am truly impressed by all that you do, Your family is a great blessing and you do a beautiful job providing your guests with anything they could possibly need for their stay. Really looking forward to coming back soon. Keep up the good work!

  • The home Julia and Wayne gabs offered is warm, welcoming and inviting. You are greeted by their hospitality the moment you enter the door. Mornings are filled with the fragrances of baked waffles and farm fresh eggs. Join the conversation around the table or the quiet of your personal balcony. Evenings are quiet in the country side setting of their home. Right off the freeway... Simple walk to the lake... Or shoto drive to the quaint shopping of downtown Sandpoint. Enjoy!

  • We LOVE Wayne and Julia's! We visited briefly on our way to and from Montana last year, and just had to go back again this year to spend more time there! My son and I stayed for 5 nights this time, but it still wasn't long enough! The house is neat, clean, beautifully decorated, and so welcoming and comfortable. The beds are cozy, the deck is wonderful, and the view is beautiful! It is so peaceful and quiet at the house, yet close to the lake, town, etc. Wayne and Julia and so hospitable, and we felt so welcome there. We loved spending time with Julia. She is so warm and friendly and we just love her! :) She also cooks the BEST breakfasts! We already can't wait to go back to Sagle, and are looking into when we can schedule our next trip! :)

The Mill House is 7 blocks from down town Sandoint, Lake Pend Oreille and twenty minutes from Schweitzer. Silverwood is less than a 30min drive. Big backyard with fire pit in summer, claw foot tub and fire place in winter. Second bedroom has two twin beds for children. Living room has fold out queen and master bedroom has queen bed. Artistic, quaint and cozy; perfect for couples, families and anyone seeking quiet repose. Awesome place to rejuvenate before more adventures in the area!
Clean, simple and beautiful space to relax in for couples and families. The Mill House is an old loggers quarters so it's cozy, not large enough to get lost in. No clutter in the house and rooms. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking, with hand made pottery by yours truly! Handmade curtains in bedrooms. Beautiful desks in both rooms for study, art or work. Games, puzzles and toys for kids of all ages to play inside or outside in big fenced in back yard. The Mill House was built in 1924 and modestly remodeled, no fancy lake house, but has soul! No Wi-Fi or screens intentionally.
15 min walk to downtown Sandpoint. 10 min walk to playground and library. Schweizer mountain 25 min drive to top or 10 to shuttle area. Neighbors are quiet and respectful of privacy.
  • Great location! About 8/10ths of a mile from the Festival, and less than that to downtown. Sleeping arrangement is one queen and then singles. Not the best for couples, but great for a family with kids. Shower is a bit hokey, but water pressure is good and the tankless water heater shows the host is putting thought and money in the place. Overall positive experience for all guests in my crew.

Le Petite Bijou is a gorgeous retreat --enjoy all of the comforts of camping in this well equipped 19 foot Bambi Airstream without any hook-up hassles. All infrastructure is on site. The Bambi is situated under the trees on five gorgeous acres on Lake Pend Oreille. Walk down the amazing winding granite stairs to the lake -- enjoy the fire pit on the lawn by night and swim and canoe off the private dock by day. The Airstream may not be towed and must remain in place on the property.
Le Petite Bijou is a tucked away treasure in the trees -- the gorgeous lakefront location offers a refuge like no other. 30 minutes from Sandpoint by car and 15 minutes by boat
  • What a beautiful property! This lakeside destination is worth the drive, and staying in the Airstream was just right for my solo adventure. Everything was top notch and the unit was well appointed with cooking supplies, and everything you might need to enjoy lake life. As you meander down the pathway to the lake, make sure you pause to enjoy the view at every turn - because it is glorious, especially at sunset. Lee and Dave are great to work with, and answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly. I will make a point to come back!

    LeAnn2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place to plan a getaway! We stayed at the airstream which slept two comfortably. There were many spots to sit and relax like on the dock, grass area on the water, and even in the woods by the airstream with the party lights on in the evening! The little things impressed us the most like the walkway to the water, the extra chairs, the boat to rent on site, and even the canoe to take out when the water was calm. Dave and Lee were a phone call away and available when we needed them. I would highly recommend staying at the home or airstream on the property!

    Raelene2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I spend the weekend in the Airstream for our 1st anniversary. A perfect weekend getaway with amazing views! Communication with Dave & Lee was easy and fast from the moment we booked the trip! They were very helpful with any questions that we had. The Airstream was extremely clean and clearly labeled. We appreciated the amenities they provided, it seemed they thought of everything! We enjoyed sitting on the dock throughout the day and the lounging outdoor chairs in the evening. We also loved being able to watch a movie in bed at night.

    Hayley2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was an awesome romantic spot to share a weekend with my husband. It's was private, with a small area with outdoor lighting and chairs to sit and relax at night. The dock was asscible with a fire pit and a great little fishing spot! We fought one after the other. Lots of small mouth bass. The camper was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy our weekend. The only thing that was a little difficult was the bathroom bc my husband is 6'1 and 250lbs, it was a little cramped for him. Other than that we had a great time. The owners were great and available to help if we had any questions. Deffintly an awesome romantic getaway!

    James & Taylor2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a dream. The Bambi is really clean and cute and a trip to stay in - Dave and Lee have everything really helpfully labeled, so nothing was a mystery - but the setting is what really steals the show. I went out for dinner the first night, but regretting having to leave the dock and miss sunset, so I rearranged my second day so I made sure I could maximize my time on the property. What a gem.

    Angela2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • First time staying in an airstream. . . loved the simple/tiny living experience! Everything was clean, plenty of towels, cooking utensils, even a few spices. All is worth it because most of the time we were outdoors enjoying the trees, the lake and all the scenery in such a serene, secluded place. The best part was meditation and yoga with the sunrise each morning out on the dock, followed by lots of swimming in the cool lake waters. We felt very welcomed by Dave although we never met him in person. He was very friendly and checked up on us upon arrival and departure to make sure things were going smoothly for us. We are grateful too that the vacationers in the main unit were pretty cool. Never heard of Sandpoint in my life before. I want to go back. . . like NOW! Would love to do it all over again and hope to next summer!

    Christine2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Dave & Lee's property is a gem. It feels very private, although their are many houses on the lake. There is so much attention to detail and the steps down to the lake are breathtaking. Our favorite part was the lawn by the lake and the fire pit + it was very nice to have our own dock! We stayed in their Airstream trailer and it was VERY nice and suited our needs just fine. We even hung out under the market lights at night and listened to music through the bluetooth stereo - it was lovely. We were lucky enough to check out the house on the property too - amazing. Love the day bed at the boat house too! We look forward to coming back

    Heather 2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Dave & Lee's Bambi Airstream for 2 nights to start off our week long stay in Idaho. It was our first time in an Airstream - and we were pleasantly surprised at how efficient and convenient it was, albeit cozy for my tall boyfriend. We enjoyed the lakeside view, swimming and canoeing on the property - admiring all the magnificent houses by the lake. We appreciate the lovely accommodations and would highly recommend others to try and experience the Bambi Airstream!

The trees surrounding the back yard made us feel like we were in our own space, it helped that the house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Her home is so cozy! Really enjoyed the art, and the hot tub! She left us a nice welcome gift and all the info we needed. I would definitely recommend this home. Thanks for everything, Yvonne!

  • Great 3 day stay at a delightful, spacious and well equipped home. Would stay here again without hesitation

    Ian2016-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a delightful cottage. Well-appointed, fully-stocked, with a large sleeping loft upstairs (5 beds) in addition to the two bedrooms downstairs. The bathroom upstairs has a claw-foot tub which was great for soaking after a day of skiing. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook for our family. Paula is a terrific host, very timely with her communication, and accommodated our early check-in request. The location is within easy walking distance of the health food store (which is awesome), Evans Brothers Coffee, and the Sandpoint Rock Gym, as well as other downtown spots. I can't recommend this cottage enough. Thanks Paula!

    Sean2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Paula for such a wonderful experience! We all felt right at home and the location not only made us comfortable, but gave us an amazing Sandpoint experience! We all loved it!

    Amy2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We recommend this place. Our host, Paula, called us soon after our arrival to welcome us. The house was as comfortable and nicely kept as it appears in the pictures. The town is beautiful and the house is very close to the heart of town. We were only able to stay two nights. Next time we will stay longer.

    Thomas2015-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Paula's beautiful cottage in Sandpoint could not have been more perfect. From the location to the super comfy beds and well stocked kitchen, our family had the most incredible Christmas together!

    Sunny2015-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a darling, cozy cottage. Every thing necessary for a comfortable stay was available. Planning to book again in December. Thanks, Paula!

    Niki2016-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house was wonderful, close to downtown and great for a group, the upstairs is a great space perfect if you have a few kids. The house was nicely decorated, kitchen was well stocked and Paula was so flexible and accommodating as our plans shifted due to unforeseen reasons. I would absolutely recommend staying.

    Jenny2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised, this is a cute little cottage in the middle of Sandpoint,ID. A corner lot that is close to everything, much in walking distance! Paula was super helpful before the visit so we had nothing go wrong during our stay! There were 7 of us, including my two young granddaughters, who absolutely loved the place! Their little family took over the upstairs rooms and they had a blast. The youngest especially liked the clawfoot tub with a shower attachment so she could have a bath and still shower off the shampoo! Her mom liked it, too! I can't think of anything major that was not supplied in the house and it was so nice to cook most of our meals their to save money. I love Sandpoint and have stayed there several time with my family, but since this was graduation they did not have room for all of us. This was the best and least expensive alternative. We would all do it again in a heartbeat. And, we have another graduation in 3 years, so......?

    Jennifer2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures do not give the scenery and cabin an accurate description of how amazingly beautiful the location is. The hosts could not be any friendlier and the stay was unforgettable.

The hosts are kind and genuinely great people and the horses and Lulu, their dog, are added bonuses! Plus it's only 10 minutes outside of Sandpoint Be sure and check out the raspberry bush on property!

  • Steve & Leslie were absolutely amazing! There were no issues whatsoever, the property looked exactly as described, and they were very helpful & knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Very easy to talk to and communicate with. Their dog Lulu is so sweet and the cabin was awesome! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area in the future.

  • Although we only stayed one night at Brent and Tawnie's cabin it was one of the highlights of our trip. Leading up to the trip the communication was great and when we arrived we had the pleasure of meeting both Brent and Tawnie who were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The area is lovely and Sandpoint which is a stones throw away is a great town with lots of nice restaurants and bars. The cabin itself is definately cosy, yet spacious, and the decor inside is lovely. I personally really liked the use of old antiques throughout the house, which give it a real homely feel. The house is also well equipped with everything you'd need for a longer stay. Our favourite thing about the property was the area next to the lake. Where there are two fire pits either side and a jetty with a great view of the lake. We stayed slightly before the summer season and were unlucky as it rained the night we stayed but we made sure to light a fire nonetheless and enjoyed some hotdogs, smores and a couple beers. We had a great time! We definately look forward to coming back again!

    Nick2016-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend & I absolutely loved this place! The pictures they have posted don't do it justice... it is so beautiful! We are already waiting for the time we get to go back & stay there again! Thanks Tawnie for being so wonderful. Hopefully my whole family will be back next time :)

    Tymen2016-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • They are the sweetest people ever, my girlfriend and the kids loved them they were so accommodating so nice and so sweet they make you realize that there are still genuine people out there,

    Wallace2016-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Brent and Tawnie were gracious hosts, and our stay at Sleep's Cabins was perhaps the most memorable part of our elbow-season road trip. We were upgraded to a larger but cozy cabin with the most amazing views and nostalgic charm. We had rain for most of our stay and found the cabin a restful spot for hibernation and watching the lake. Thank you, Brent and Tawnie, for sharing this home with us.

    Tracy & Chris2016-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • I actually wrote a full review on (URL HIDDEN) but the condensed version is that this was a wonderful, serene, and nostalgic experience. The lake view was incredible, cabin awesome, and the hosts were super. You won't go wrong staying at Sleeps. They take great pride of ownership, and the history of the property and cabins made this stay even more "like home." Wish we could have stayed longer!

    Kim2016-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Brent and Tawnie had brownies waiting for us when we arrived and were struck a wonderful balance of being available when we had questions and invisible for our privacy. We were there for a reunion and loved having access to the lake and firepit. It was a great quiet spot!

    Rivka 2016-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Brent and Tawnie's cabin! The location is great, it's quiet and peaceful, yet very close to everything. I loved how charming the cabin was, and it had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again!

    Katie2016-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were ver accessible even before we arrived. and our questions were quickly answer by phone after our arrival. The cabin was perfectly lovely and comfortable and we spent evenings down on the dock for magnificent sunsets. It was also quite close to Sandpoint a very fun artistic community. Would recommend this to anyone!

  • I wasn't able to actually stay at Cari's place due to extenuating weather circumstances. However my experience communicating with her about my stay and the situation as it developed was excellent! Due to Airbnb's policy and Cari's timely response I was fully refunded. I will be booking a stay with her next time we head that way.

Mother in law studio apartment located in beautiful South Sandpoint. Located 2 blocks from Memorial field and the Festival at Sandpoint. It's an easy walk/ride to downtown. Third Street Pier is close by to cool off on hot summer days. Mountain biking in Syringa is only a 10 minute ride. There are several other options for mountain biking located close by as well. In winter months, Schweitzer is about 20-25 minutes door to door. Public bus (SPOT) stop less than one block away.
  • This was our first trip to Sandpoint and we found Travis's place to be just what we were looking for -- good value, great location near to downtown, city beach, restaurants, grocery store, bike trails, etc.! We couldn't have asked for kinder hosts. Would definitely recommend this AirBnb!

  • Excellent experience! Deer walking through the yard, close to the mountain, excellent heating... a very relaxing vacation. The hosts were very responsive and willing to provide anything we needed, however it was very easy to be self reliant in their cabin. Plenty of firewood, coffee, and blueberry muffins :-)

  • What a wonderful, serene, relaxing, and well-equipped space! The cottage is just outside of town, so it's nice and quiet but just a short drive to reach trails, the beach, and shops/restaurants. It's also very close to a couple of grocery stores, and has everything you need to cook good meals. Mary was a wonderful host. Such a sweet lady.

    Jennifer2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Overall, our stay at the Honey Bee Rose Cottage was pleasant. By far, one of the nicest feature was the pastries and fruit that Mary left outside the cottage door both mornings. What a lovely treat! We found the space to be comfortable--although maybe a little too crowded with unnecessary furniture and pillows and knickknacks for our taste. But for other people, they may feel right at home!

  • The Honey Bee Cabin was a perfect getaway for the weekend equipped with a comfy bed, wood fire, and cozy feel. Mary was very kind and made us blueberry cheesecake each morning that was waiting for us outside the door. She was warm and welcoming. The cabin is a 30 minute drive to Schweitzer mountain! • Lynda is a gracious host and the accommodation was first class. Her attention to detail and immaculate organization provides a total stress free environment. To say we were comfortable is an understatement. We look forward to staying with Lynda in the future. 5 star all the way!

  • Very clean and nice. The hosts were eager to help make our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The area is absolutely beautiful. Right by the lake. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

    Curtis2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great hospitality! Nice big living room with beautiful views. Nice and clean with a nice private room. Would definitely stay again to enough everything there is to offer! The cookies, bottled water, and fresh fruit was much appreciated.

    Andrea2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lynda offers a nice little place in a quiet neighborhood. Checking in was easy as we were met at the door with a warm smile and snacks. The home was very clean and offers a bedroom, bathroom, bar and comfortable open family area with tv.. There were also 2 community pools as well, but we did not get a chance to check them out. Sandpoint itself is a beautiful area with lovely shops and views. The downtown strip also offers a number of bars and restaurants. I would recommend a visit to the area and a staying at Lynda's delightful home.

    Brennan2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We happened on Lynda's listing when hastily planning an impromptu trip to Sandpoint. The place was as-advertised and excellent for our needs. The huge walk-in closet doubled as a perfect place for the pack-n-play/portable crib to let the toddler sleep in peace. The older kids loved the room to roam in the super safe neighborhood and, naturally, the pools and water access. I'm plotting how to get back here sans kids for a long weekend.

    Christina2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • I was wonderfully surprised by the quality of the accommodations. The space is huge. Lush carpets and furnishings. It's just over a mile to downtown an easy and safe walk on the bike path. What a great overall experience. My host even gave me a ride to the Festival which is just about 3/4 of a mile away. I didn't want for anything. I highly recommend this Air B&B.

    Robert2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lynda's place was great for our one night stay - very comfortable beds, nice shower/bath, great living room space for us to chill and let our baby crawl around. The kitchen is, as described in the listing, 'mini' - tons of appliances, microwave, mini fridge, etc but no stovetop. Totally fine for a short stay but would have been disappointed if we had planned on staying for a while. There's a nice pool and the house is very close to the water -- would have loved to take advantage of all the amenities but the area's wildfires meant that being outdoors was not very enjoyable :( Lynda was an excellent host - met us outside and showed us around, and said goodbye during checkout but kept to herself during our stay. She even left us with some treats which was very sweet and much appreciated!

I've created a serene oasis here close to downtown, the lake and only 10 mi. to Schweitzer Resort. Guests will have their own bedroom. This room shares a private living room & bathroom, if there are any other guests in the house, which is rare. And we all share the kitchen. Feel free to use the spices, tea/coffee available. Desk available for bs. travelers. I also have another room, listed as 'Futon Room in house' that accommodates 2 more people.
My home is comfortable and relaxing both inside & out. I look forward to welcoming guests and having them enjoy this special town, which was voted one of the ten best small towns in the U.S. by Rand McNally, Sunset magazine & USA Today.
Our town has great restaurants & live music. All this is just 1.5 mi. away. There are numerous hiking places and Schweitzer Mtn. is just 10 mi. away for skiing or snowboarding in the winter & mtn. biking or hiking in summer.

  • My husband and I decided to try our first Airbnb while visiting Idaho for a wedding. We absolutely loved it! We arrived at Ginna's place and her very sweet dog greeted us, we met Ginna later that evening. She made us feel at home and even went out of her way to get me the creamer I like for morning coffee! We were so busy exploring Idaho and getting things ready for the wedding we didn't have much time to really sit and talk with Ginna, but from the time we did get with her, my husband and I both agree she is very kind and sweet! We would definitely stay again if we ever found ourselves back in Idaho. Definitely a great first experience using Airbnb! Thank you again Ginna for everything!

    Lisa2015-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • We did a last minute booking and Ginna was very accommodating to our plans. A beautiful home on a quiet street with a large but cozy living room all our own. Our host was so gracious and helpful that we want to come back. It was perfect.

    Marilyn2016-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we walked in, Ginna made us feel right at home. What a great smile and personality. There was a bottle of Peregrino Sparkling Water and fresh lemon wedges waiting for us in our room and a beautiful potted Sunflower plant waiting for us in front of our bedroom door. The thought she puts into caring for her guests in really remarkable. We had our own bedroom, bathroom and TV/living room with two recliner couches. Ginna was willing to engage in conversation or leave us to our privacy. We had fresh coffee in the morning and were offered eggs even though our contract did not include breakfast. Ginna has her own garden and always has fresh vegetables available. There is a wonderful front porch to enjoy morning coffee or a wonderful sunset at night. Unfortunately, my wife developed a medical problem and we had to cut our visit short after only one night. Ginna was nice enough to refund 3 of the 4 nights of our stay even though the contract specified a minimum of two nights. Just a wonderful human being!

    Tom2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Ginna is a wonderful hostess. She made accessing the house easy even though she was away. Her home is very welcoming. I especially enjoyed her private sitting room. The house is well located to access all of the fun things there are to do in Sandpoint. I would definitely recommend Ginna and her home for a stay in Sandpoint.
