Park
“A humbling experience. Take a relaxing walk among some of the most majestic trees one may ever encounter in their lives. Meet Colonel Armstrong: 1400 years old and counting.”

“A dining experience. They don't take reservations. If you are not fond of queues, then try to arrive before 6:30pm or after 9:30pm to get a table. Between that time frame you will probably have to wait for a while to get a seat. Which is not a total bummer because right next door you have a nice bar to get drinks while you wait :) At "El Barrio". Try "El Picaro" and let us know your thoughts ;)”

Winery
“A short drive from Guerneville. A gorgeous family-owned winery in a beautiful setting. We suggest sipping a drink of Californian champagne or wine tasting while overlooking the vineyards. They run tours daily too, when they show their facilities. Worth it! korbel.com”

“I love Underwood for their margaritas (although they have plenty of other excellent drinks), delicious food and dessert options, and overall laid-back and cozy ambiance! While I've usually gone here in the for dinner and drinks, they do have a nice outdoor patio (with bocci ball court) to enjoy in the daytime.”

“Pub up front, family friendly dining room in the back. You can usually come here to watch the game or hear live music. Locals and out-of-towners mix easily. Can get really crowded during rodeo days! Standard pub fare of burgers, fish n chips, etc. Local music in the bar on Fridays. ”

“This is my favorite Russian River Winery to bring guests to - Quintessential Russian River: beautiful surroundings with open views of the gorgeous Sonoma hills landscape, laid back outdoor tasting with friendly staff , wonderful wines ( well known especially for their fantastic sparkling wines, often served at White House state dinners... ) . Winery is family owned and run and you can really feel the unpretentious, but absolutely classy vibe.”
