Hello Friends, welcome to Phoenixville. I have a private bedroom, bath and living room for your stay.
Hello Friends, welcome to Phoenixville. I have a private bedroom, bath, living room and "office space" for your stay. The space for your use is a 130 sf bedroom with a full size bed, dresser and 2 closets. Both are on the 2nd floor. "Just added" a separate room with a computer desk for office use for the traveling business person. For additional privacy, the entire 2nd floor is unoccupied. Fresh towels and linens will be provided. The house has central AC and radiator heating, free wifi, washer and dryer unit. There is no cable television, however I can provide you with Netflix in the 2nd floor living room. You are also welcome to use the kitchen, dining and 1st floor living room. We can share the refrigerator as needed. I have a garage if you need to store a bicycle or motorcycle. I enjoy meeting my guests and our interaction to your comfort level, or as needed. The neighborhood is typical working class America, the typical home is about 70 to 120 years. There is a great downtown area about three blocks away, full of fine restaurants and bars. Phoenixville used to be a Steel Mill town, the mill was closed for good and removed over 20 years ago. Just in the last 10 years the town has gone through a revival, and hosts many art, music and entertainment events. I have 2 cats. I can keep then in the basement if needed for a short term stay. Otherwise they usually have free access throughout the house. They are very friendly and well behaved. Nia and Sha-mia.

  • This was our first experience with Airbnb and we loved it. Keith was an awesome host. He made us feel right at home and he was flexible with our check-in time. His house was very cozy and clean and he made sure we had everything we needed. We had the second floor to ourselves (bedroom, bath, living room) and the bed was very comfortable. The home is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Parking is on the street but had no problem finding a spot close to the house. Next time we are in the area we will look Keith up again and would be more than happy to stay here again. We loved his cat (Sha-Mia) who spent time with us while we were there. Awesome place to stay. Thanks again Keith!!

  • My stay at Keith's place was great! This time I had the opportunity to get to know Keith in person and I very much enjoyed talking to him. He is super helpful in terms of accommodating any changes in travel plans, providing information about the surrounding area etc. I look forward to my next visit :-)

  • Place was very nice and cozy

    Felix2017-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely LOVED the vibe of this place and Keith was a fantastic host. Extremely communicative and accommodating even though I didn't arrive until late in the evening hours. Location is peaceful and quiet with several restaurants in the surrounding areas. The house and room were quite comfortable. Ask Keith about his idea for the Penny-farthing club! I couldn't have been more impressed and will be staying in the future.

    Floyd2016-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great experience! Quiet residential neighborhood with free street parking, a very short walk to the main drag of Phoenixville. This area has lots of really nice restaurants (some BYOB) with little parking on the main street sometimes so the house is perfectly situated for a great dinner or a relaxing few drinks after work. A short drive to the Greater Philadelphia Conference Center at the Oaks makes this a perfect place to stay for a business trip. Keith was easy going and friendly without being obtrusive and provided free wifi, access to the kitchen and laundry (NICE!), and a small living room next to the bathroom if you need that extra space. The bedroom - very comfortable bed (mattress topper! I LOVE those!) and a private bathroom next door. Linens were provided, along with some basic toiletries. We were in late, out early and found this AirBnB host and listing extremely relaxing.

  • Keith is a great host - very friendly and welcoming. The space is amazing for the price and the neighborhood is super quiet so you can get a good night’s rest!!

    Erin2017-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • We did not meet our host until we returned from an evening (URL HIDDEN) was pretty late but he still greeted us warmly before everyone turned in for the night. The following morning he had coffee made and suggested a great place nearby for breakfast. Our schedule was pretty tight but we still had some nice conversations before we had to leave. The space was just as depicted;a second floor bedroom and a private bath. Keith also invited us to use the rest of the floor if we wanted. All was very clean. His home was tastefully decorated and was very close to the downtown restaurants and theaters.

    rick2014-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were made to feel very welcome with access to all essential parts of the home. He made sure we could get in the house through the lock box in case he couldn't be physically present when we arrived so didn't need to coordinate times. Since we only stayed one night we didn't use the tv in the sitting room but it was available. The wifi worked fine. If it is available we will probably stay there again since it is close to our relatives.

    Ryan2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • We were so lucky to stay in Helvio's townhouse for more than six weeks. Everything is wonderful. The house is in a very beautiful community, which is only five minutes drive to Giant Food. The neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. The house is kept perfectly clean and very spacious. My wife and I love the fabulous well equipped kitchen. Helvio and his parents are so friendly and hospitable. It was a great help that they gave us a lift to Giant food when we needed. They invited my family to their parties and enjoy the Brazil traditional food and drinks they made. We were very lucky having a chance to feel the Brazil culture. Thanks Helvio and his parents for warmly accommodating my family. Highly recommended for sure.

  • Helvio is a great host! He was very responsive to questions and made sure everything was ready to go for our arrival. Although he was not home when we arrived, he arranged for us to be able to check in as soon as we got there. He also provided some extras for us (soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste). The room was as described and is about 15 minutes from Valley Forge, with great historical background and a very pretty area. I would definitely recommend!

Elegantly decorated private room with Queen bed and private hall bath. Room comes with personal flat screen TV, ample closet and dresser storage. Only minutes away from route 422 and 76. Close to historical Valley Forge Park and only 30 minutes from Philadelphia attractions.
Our guestroom has a phenomenal new mattress and box spring. I only use quality linens and pillows and I am a fanatic about keeping the room clean for your comfort. There is also an oscillating fan in addition to central air and central heating for your comfort as well.
Our neighborhood is very peaceful as is our backyard which houses our chicken coop where we raise chickens that produce organic free range eggs for our consumption and for our guests consumption.. We have wonderful neighbors who are always willing to lend a hand if we need it. We are very close to restaurants, state store, post office, grocery store....all of these are within three minutes and there is a cute bar called The Peanut which is a 15 minute walk. And even though it is very peaceful we are only five minutes to route 422 which takes you to 76 to Philadelphia or The PA Turnpike… So we are a great location. Valley Forge is only 15 to 20 minutes away as well. We are one hour from Lancaster… That includes major sites and the outlets. The list goes on and on...

The room was beautiful, clean, and warm, with extra blankets. My dog was also very happy there, and they were kind to him. There is a park near their place where dogs can run, and there are also very nice walking trails nearby. Everything was great. It was a pleasure to stay with Cathy and Chris.

Beautiful townhome in Royersford minutes from highway. Short 12 mi drive to Paoli or Norristown train station. 30 mi drive to Philly. 15 minutes from King of Prussia Mall, Valley Forge Park, and casino. 10 mins from Philadelphia Premium Outlets.
This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood. There are 2 assigned parking spaces in front of the building and also guest parking available. This house has 2 queen beds. The 3rd bedroom is an office but has space for either 2 twin or 1 queen air mattress to accommodate another 2 guests. Additionally, the master bedroom could accommodate a twin air mattress on the floor if necessary. I will provide air mattresses upon request.
There is a ton to do in this area. In Collegeville, about a 5 minute drive, there is shopping plaza with a Movie Tavern (dine in movie theater), Wegman's, several restaurants (Olive Garden, PF Chang's, Margaritas, Red Robin, Champs Rapidough, Panera, Zoup, Chipotle, and several non-chain restaurants serving Mediterranean food and sushi). In Oaks, about a 10 minute drive away, there is a SkyZone trampoline park, an entertainment center (Arnold's) which has go carts, rock climbing, bowling, arcade games, and bumper cars, and an indoor ice skating rink. There is also access to the Schuylkill River Trail. King of Prussia is about a 15 minute drive and is home to the King of Prussia Mall with over 400 retailers and 40 restaurants. King of Prussia is also home to the Valley Forge Casino and historic Valley Forge State Park, which has guided tours, walking, biking (rentals available), and hiking trails.

This fieldstone row house was built in 1847 by Phoenix Iron Works for its employees. It stands across the street from an historic foundry (recently converted into a posh events space) in the heart of the business district. You can walk to over 20 restaurants, cafes and pubs. The local farmers market is held Saturday mornings at the other end of my block. Even with all this going on nearby, Nailers Row is surprisingly quiet. Last but not least, there's room for 2 cars at the back of the garden.
The 'pie winder' stairs are a little tricky. If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. The bed on the 3rd floor is slightly smaller than a queen but it sleeps two comfortably.
Within a three block radius of Nailers Row there are at least 19 restaurants, 3 coffee shops, 4 brew pubs (with yet more to come), 3 wine tasting rooms, 3 tattoo parlors, 2 smoke shops, a pretzel shop, a yogurt cafe, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor and a distillery/bar. The Colonial Theater - of "The Blob" fame - is just behind my house. Steel City Coffee House is a stone's throw away. They host many excellent musicians there on a regular basis. An offshoot of the Schuylkill River Trail passes within a block of my front door, winding its way downriver to the heart of Philadelphia, 30 miles & 2 1/2 hours distant by bike. For Restaurant and Bar reviews for Phoenixville and beyond do a web search of "Chester County’s Top Restaurants LeBan". Craig LeBan is the food critic for Philly's principle newspaper, The Inquirer. There are plenty of mouth-watering suggestions in his article.
  • Quaint and spacious cottage in a central location within walking distance to the many cafes, bars and restaurants in Phoenixville.

    Judy2017-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Charles was a fantastic host and his home is gorgeous. Spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located, this is the first airbnb that my husband I would return to just for the pleasure of spending the weekend there. The little touches made a big difference - coffee, fresh milk, water from a country well. And did I mention that the home is spotless? We could not have been happier. Thank you Charles!

    Holly2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Charles was a super host and made our event at the expo center amazing! Place is wonderful, super clean and has great history. Thanks we will stay here over and over.

  • Clean, beautifully decorated, and even great parking in the heart of Phoenixville. Charles is an excellent host; gave us terrific dining suggestions, made sure we had everything we requested, and were comfortable for our stay. I would highly recommend this for business travel as well as casual visitors to the area. Thank you!

    Betsy2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Charles' place is exactly as described. Even though we arrived at 9PM, Charles was there to greet us, walk us through the house, and offer dining suggestions. Five of us were attending a wedding in town, and we all fit comfortably, with one on the couch. It was great to fix breakfast, and then head out for the day. The town is completely walkable, so we just left the car parked at Charles'. As others have said, great food, breweries, distillery, fun shops downtown. The Saturday Farmer's Market is just two blocks away, and has music and great goodies from all around! It was great to come back to Charles' quiet house after a busy day for a good night's sleep on comfy beds with plenty of AC! We will definitely reserve next time we are back in the area!

    Margo2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Charles' place as we were attending an event at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. It was about a 10 minute drive away and this location was perfect. There are so many shops and restaurants in walkable distance. The house is very clean and you have the whole place to yourself. The beds were super comfortable and we would certainly stay here again. Thing to consider: both rooms are upstairs and the staircases are steep. If you are traveling with elderly or if anyone in your party is disabled in any way, this would not be the house for you. If everyone is able bodied, it is PERFECT! Charles is so easy to work with and the place is WONDERFUL!

My place is close to Phoenixville, Kimberton Waldorf School, a Golf Course, and Camphill Kimberton. I am a few minutes from downtown Phoenixville, a short drive from Valley Forge, Route 202, Great Valley business parks, and 40 min from Center City Phila. It's a little cottage in the woods, with farmland at the end of the road. There are beautiful places to walk here, yet it's also close to active nightlife and restaurants. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers.
Quiet country charm minutes from major highways, business parks, restaurants, cafes, entertainment, gyms, shopping, and alternative Waldorf communities.
  • A colleague and I needed a place to stay in for two nights while we worked in the area, so I chose Rhona's home because it seemed quiet and the photo showed a yard with lots of trees and a garden. Rhona was a lovely host and made our stay a nice experience. She shared tea with us but was mostly away working. She arranged to let me stay in an extra room although it wasn't listed, which was much appreciated by me and Juli. We especially liked sitting in the morning in the sun room, which is cozy and bright and full of plants. We also really liked Rhona's beautiful art on the walls, well worth the stay just for that! All in all, a very pleasant stay.

    Hannah2017-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Rhona is a gracious and kind host! On my last stay, spelling autocorrect changed "is" to "isn't" in that sentence, completely changing the semantics!! My six-year-old daughter and I loved staying at Rhona's cottage. It's set in an idyllic space. Rhona even helped my daughter make painted butterflies, which turned out wonderful.

    Douglas2016-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Another wonderful stay at Rhona's little Eden in Kimberton. My daughter and I had a wonderful time, and Rhona is the best.

Charming private space with private entrance in the heart of Phoenixville. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Walk around the corner for the best ice cream or stroll a little further for all the downtown restaurant options, and of course don't forget a movie at the Colonial. Space includes coffee maker, microwave and small fridge for storing leftovers. Private newly renovated bathroom includes shower stall.
  • Cute, clean place that is centrally located. Lots of entertainment and dining options. Perfectly sized for two! Tracy made everything easy, very prompt with communication. We would love to stay there again!

  • The apartment is located in downtown Phoenix. I stayed on a bad night because it was raining and it seems that the town shuts down on Tuesday nights.

  • Tracy was excellent to communicate with. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The mattress was very comfortable and the downtown area was very quiet.

This peaceful and comfortable room offers a restful place from one to several nights. You are close to walking and hiking trails, restaurants and many businesses. This is an ideal location for adventure or business travelers who want to get off the beaten path, yet be near companies that they are employed or contracted with. A seasonal pool, backyard and available kitchen are creature comforts to round out your time in Kimberton.
Double bed, drawer space, desk. A back porch to hang out after work with a peaceful backyard.
It is quiet and (URL HIDDEN) night there is little light pollution. People greet each other and take notice of activity on the street yet keep a respectful distance. They are there if needed.
  • I had a great stay. Everything was as it appeared in the listing and Zalene was such a great host..she provided everything I needed and was so friendly. I felt so welcome and comfortable.

This private room with private connected bath is close to Phoenixville stores, restaurants, nightlife, hiking and canoe/kayaking. We are also close to the Convention Center in Oaks. This house is an old Victorian with lots of character. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) are all welcome.
Beautiful woodwork, great light, high ceilings, very spacious and a new kitchen.
Beautiful and quiet street that is walking distance to hiking trails along the Schuylkill River. Less than 1 mile to downtown Phoenixville with access to lots of restaurants, shopping and a historic theatre.
  • Kathy is a wonderful host! She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We would definitely stay at her home again.

    Martin2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay, yet a close enough drive to Philadelphia and walkable to restaurants and shopping in downtown Phoenixville, this is a lovely place. I recommend Nuddies for breakfast. The house dates to "around 1850" and she, the house, is a grand and friendly dame. Think of a well loved, very stylish grandma. In my case, the house was about equidistant from my in-laws and my elderly mother, allowing me to spend time with both, yet giving me a great place to unwind at the end of the day. The rooms are spacious, mine had a large closet and bath and each has a deadbolt on the door for privacy. Some of the rest of the house has been updated, other parts, while comfortable, are still somewhat a work in progress, but that is what you get with "This Old House." I know, I used to live in one. I had full use of the modern kitchen and spent time enjoying the living room. The dining room is directly off the kitchen and a comfortable place to eat. There is a laundry right off the dining room. The washer has some idiosyncrasies, Kathy, the host can explain. I really enjoyed talking with Kathy, and it turned out that some of her cousins went to the same high school as my sister and I. In fact, my sister had dated one of Kathy's cousins. What is it about 6 steps of connection? Kathy does not live there, but visits frequently, and her daughter, Theresa came in to clean and prepare rooms for the guests. One thing I did very much appreciate was the lock to the house. It is an electronic combination, so there's no house key to lose. This made it very easy to check in without someone needing to be there. I was given the code via email and could just walk in and find my room. If you come in during the evening, there are small night lights to guide you to the staircase in the front of the house, and switches in the foyer area are clearly labeled, so you can find the upstairs hall light. And parking is ample for at least 3 cars without having to worry about being parked in. The next time I need to come into the area, I will definitely check to see if Kathy has an opening, no matter which room is available. Go visit Grandma.

    Janee2017-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy and her husband were very friendly. While they were not at the house much during the stay, Kathy was very responsive with any questions or concerns. Check-in was very easy and Kathy contacted us within 2 hours to see if we needed anything. Their home is very nice and the location is great. We would definitely come back if in the area.

  • Reviews are always difficult. You do not want to offend but you also don't want to be saccharine if things were not perfect. The good... it's cheap, relatively quiet, and close to town. The bad... the house is very old and outdated. The floors felt dangerously weak and squeak, the kitchen has an odd odor, and the house itself just has that musty old smell. There are two young guys that rent there, too, but they seem amicable and keep to themselves. I was in the master bedroom. The problems were... the actual doorknob to the room was broken and kept falling off. There is an added deadbolt to the room but you still have to worry if the knob will fall off each time you open the door. The owner was aware of the problem. The previous renters left the bathroom window open and it had no screen so there were flies in the room. One of the bedroom windows is also broken and fell into the room when the wind picked up. If you temper your expectations, it was not bad, but it kind of felt like the owners moved out years ago and refused to put any money into its upkeep.

    Michael2017-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed at Kathy's home for a weekend and it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. She gave me specific instructions for checking in, where my room was, and what was included within the (URL HIDDEN) room had the private bathroom which is a benefit to me. Some of the items included were wifi and computer access, use of any of the kitchen amenities, TV, use of the living room space (there is an old cast iron fireplace there which is very appealing) etc. I did not use any of these since I was in and out most of the time. However, I plan on staying there again and will be my place of choice when I stay near the area. I will highly recommend that you do the same.

    Julio2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful stay at Kathy's Mont Clare home. The room was large and airy. The room air conditioner was an added plus. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the private bathroom. Entry with a key code was handy and each room had it's own key lock though I didn't feel like I needed to use it. The host was very generous with all areas of the home. Thanks so much!!

On beautiful grounds by golf course, this private art studio tends to spend a lot of time dormant and lonely since her caretaker shoots on location. It's a beautiful homey feel upstairs, with breathtaking views from the expansive windows.
Lark Manor is a beautiful Art Studio adjacent to the home of Artist and Author Jessica Lark. The upstairs boasts beautiful rustic cathedral ceilings, enormous windows, a full working kitchen and bathroom, and charming bedroom. You'll find most of the cabinets filled with Art Supplies, but there are certainly enough dishes, pots and pans to cook for yourself if you choose to. There is a large flatscreen that connects to our netflix, please use "Guest" as your account, and you have access to all our viewing accounts. The entire place is outfitted with beautiful victorian furniture, and there is room in the closets next to set wardrobes for your own belongings to hang. The entire building overlooks the beautiful grounds here. We have lots of trees :) this means squirrels, chipmunks, mice, birds, and bugs... if you don't like the rustic cottage-y feel this is probably not for you.
We're within 20 minutes of everything. 20 to the movie theater, 5 to the bowling alley, target, grocery store, salons, post office, 1 minute to the car wash, dollar store, bank, gas station. Easy access to 422. We own the entire bend, and are next to a golf course so theres very few neighbors on our side of the street .
  • Great location, great decor, super friendly hosts. And yummy dinner too, what a surprise. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon.

  • I loved my stay in this cozy art loft during a week long stay in the area. The loft is roomy, cozy, private, and as cute as it could be. Jessica was a wonderful hostess. She arranged for a very easy check-in (the door has a "code lock" so a key isn't necessary). She also emailed me several times during the week to make sure everything was as expected, and to see if I needed anything.

    Robert2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • I needed a place to stay for a week and found this cost a bit less than a hotel, and offered both a kitchen, and a large apartment to relax in. Jessica was very nice. We didn't interact much, which was my choice. I'm sure you could if that's your thing. I was taking a woodworking course; I'd return there tired; I'd nap, eat, watch a little Netflix, then sleep. So it answered my needs very well.

    Brian2017-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This truly is a cozy artist chalet! The space is unbelievable, with amazing natural light coming in from the lofted ceiling windows. Jessica & her husband are lovely hosts, and my dog really enjoyed her beautiful grounds. It is close to the road, but feels like you are in a beautiful local park. It was very convenient for my dog show at the Greater Philadelphia expo center… About 7 to 17 minute drive depending on traffic. Much better than any hotel!!!!

    Valerie2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica and her husband are great hosts! They are very welcoming, super friendly, and very easy to talk to. Jessica showed me around the place and made sure I had everything I needed. She has always been very responsive when I needed to reach her. I am a pretty private person and used the Chalet/Apartment while working nearby instead of using a hotel. For my needs, this place is nearly perfect! There is a small, but very functional kitchen with range, microwave, small fridge/freezer, and of course, a sink and cookware/dishes. The place feels spacious, and it is nicely decorated with art and antiques. The queen bed is comfy and there is a huge TV which I think is hooked up to netflix, etc. I don't know, because I have not actually used it. The backyard area, and view from one side is great! Nice little stream through the yard with a park-like setting. Large trees and wildlife give a great feel to the space. There is plenty of great shopping nearby. There is a huge outlet mall, target, grocery, and restaurants all within about a 10 min drive, probably less. This is a nice neighborhood, and overall great location. There is a somewhat busy road maybe 150 ft from the property, and the windows lack coverings (except in the bedroom). I have been very happy and comfortable here, but this is a guest space second to the art studio, and although I think Jessica makes that pretty clear, I just want to restate it here because I want you to know what to expect. There are some fragile things and art related supplies, books, etc throughout the place. It's not cluttered or anything, and personally, I like the feel of the place. But in the end it has everything I need! Overall, I have been very pleased with my stay. Like I said before, Jessica is a great host, and this property is in a great location with a great setting. The space feels good and worked very well for me. This will always be the first place I check if I am ever in the area again! Highly recommended! Thanks for a great stay! Alex

  • This was a lovely place. It was beautiful, unique, comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Jessica and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitley return here the next time we are in town visiting family. Thank you Jessica!

  • Did you ever go to restaurant because of all the rave reviews on Yelp only to be thinking, "What were all those people smoking when they ate where I just did." This is kind of metonymous to that. I booked this flat last minute and was surprised to be told (after the booking was accepted) that there was another boarder at the house which is in stark contrast to what the add reads, (e.g. one bed, one person, one bath). When I arrived, I found a rather creepy young lady with some sort of odd mental problem camped out in the other bedroom and rather territorial about the lavatory. Creeped out, I cancelled the next night but not before freezing in the room and having my legs jammed up against the bed because of a bar blocking the footer. I'm only 5 8' so it was not me. After lamenting to the host, she admitted she was aware of this women's oddities but did not want to refund the 2nd night. I had to call AirBNB to straighten it out. Don't let the new age aura of the place fool you. When money's involved, pleasantries disappear.

My place is close to Kimberton Whole Foods, Post Office, Station Bistro, Kimberton Inn, Earth Speak new age gifts, Purls of Wisdom yarn store, and across the street from Ideas Bookstore. You’ll love the light, the comfy bed, the coziness. See "Kimberton Village" for a 2nd family room. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
The house is right in the village of Kimberton and across from a great hang-out place: Ideas bookstore, where Shannon will welcome you with a cup of tea and a place to lounge. Our house is beautifully painted throughout, with living/dining room featuring "lazure" painting by Robert Logsdon.
Our bnb is set on the main street of historic Kimberton Village with old-time charm. The independent Whole Foods store is a pillar of the community, with organic produce, raw dairy, humanely-raised meats, gourmet and specialty diet foods, baked goods, supplements, natural body care and household items. Stop by the Kimberton Café for freshly brewed coffee, a nutritious juice or smoothie, a made-to-order sandwich, or selections.
  • The house and the room(s) were both very clean, including the bathroom. The air conditioning window unit in my room ceased to function in the middle of the first night, but was ultimately dealt with by switching me to another room for the second night. (A refund was generously offered, which I did not take the hosts up on.) It is possible to walk into the village for dinner - only 5 minutes or so. (But be careful going over the bridge, as there is no sidewalk.) Private parking on site was a nice plus. The home is an easy and quick drive to the Greater Philadelphia Convention Center, to Valley Forge, and to King of Prussia.

Friendly invitation into the house with a quick little tour and I was off for the night. Had my own keys to come and go if I needed as well. Coolest this is the living room wall paint. The studio is located on a quiet cobblestone alley behind a stone church. The alley goes to Bridge Street, the main street in town but the house if buffered by a park. The location is in the heart of Phoenixville where there are many restaurants and unique shops. Phoenixville is near Valley Forge National park. 2 rivers run through Phoenixville, with many bike trails which connect through the center of town. The Colonial Theatre shows arts films and classics. Steel City Coffeehouse offers live entertainment. First Fridays in the summer has music on every corner on the street.
  • Lynn was a wonderful host and everywent went without a hitch. The space is beautiful and around the corner from a ton of great shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed staying here!

  • Centrally located in town, but not good for anyone that needs to cook meals.

    Lynae2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • A very unique, inspiring place to stay in the heart of town. It was tricky navigating the spiral staircase, carrying my belongings up and down the steps but I managed. Thank goodness for the gas fireplace, it kept the upstairs room toasty. Lynn was prompt in replying to any questions or concerns I had. I can't wait to learn more about her sound healing practice.

    Kathy2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really unique studio. The upstairs is really neat-- paintings and instruments everywhere. It was nice to have 2 separate floors to get some alone time. Everything was clean, tidy, and safe. The town was charming, though I did feel the businesses and restaurants were expensive. Eating out could definitely be avoided, though the kitchenette didn't have a stove or oven, so food would have to be fresh or microwaved. There wasn't wifi in the apt, so I used my phone to hot spot my laptop. The bed is a futon, but it was comfortable enough. I had a good time, and I think the best part of the experience was the unique layout and all the art everywhere; it had very calming energy.

    Kate2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lynn's place is a great location for exploring downtown Phoenixville. You are 30 steps from Bridge Street. She is prompt to get back to any of your questions. She is an outstanding host. One thing to be sure of, park far to the right of the driveway. Someone else will park beside you. I would highly recommend it and would stay again.

  • Andrews place is a 10/10. So well put together and his house manual provided good info on the area and dining options. The couch swing was awesome too. Great records and board games made our relaxing time that much better. The building is quiet too so we slept like rocks on the comfy beds. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Keith2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew was clear with communication and even had a binder set up with local spots and menus. Very thoughtful touch! We only stayed one night for a wedding but his place was perfect for our needs and within walking distance to the reception site. Space was clean and tidy and easy to find.

  • We booked this place for two main reasons, location and cost. We needed to be close to Phoenixville on a last minute trip to see a sick friend. We didn't get to explore much of Royerson, but the apartment is close to main street and 422. It was also an easy drive to Phoenixville, a cute town with lots of restaurants and breweries. There's also a 24h grocery store and a Wawa in walking distance. Most of the time spent at our AirBnb was sleeping, unwinding, and showering. It was everything we needed, clean, quiet, good wifi, and cute. Andrew have us all the info we needed up front and provided a great house manual with good suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. We'd rebook again if we needed to be in the area.

    Mary2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great stay especially for the value. Andrew was on top of his communication game and the place was clean and taken care of. The place is close to anything youd need like a 24 hour grocery store and various restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

  • Andrew's loft was all that was advertised and more. It was exactly as described. He even let us check in early than scheduled which was fantastic. He made sure that we were taken care of and that we had no issues with getting into the loft and were happy with the space. The bed was big and roomy and the bathroom was clean and the place as a whole had a very modern feel. The loft is very close to King of Prussia Mall and the drive to Philadelphia is very easy. I would recommend Andrew's place 5/5!

    Sean 2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Andrew's loft - it was perfect for us in every way. Comfortable, clean, creatively decorated, and in close proximity to all that suburban Philadelphia has to offer. This loft apt. was a relaxing place to return to at days end. Highly recommend. Andrew insured we had a smooth check-in process. It was clear after meeting him he cares deeply about his properties and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. We will return again!

  • I spent a little over 2 months at Stacey's place and it was a great experience. She was a good roommate and I would go back again. The space is nice and roomy and good for long stays.

  • Stacy's a great host and I had a very relaxing stay. It's a great location in a quiet neighborhood and close to lots of restaurants and pubs. I would highly recommend her place and it worked out great for a longer stay.

  • I stayed in this room in Phoenixville for almost two months as part of a medical rotation, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Phoenixville is a beautiful, vibrant borough with much history to explore. The location is especially beautiful during the autumn months. The room itself is very private, comfortable, and spacious. The air conditioning and wall heaters kept the room a comfy temperature during all types of weather. The bed was sizeable, clean, and very comfortable. The large desk under the windows made for a great laptop and homework station. Stacey is an excellent host; available when you require, and very accommodating. She even offered to drive me to the hospital when my bus route was cancelled! The neighborhood in which the house is located is a safe one. I took walks every night with no issues, and met many locals who were always friendly. I was surprised to find myself sad to be leaving at the end of my rotation. I highly recommend this location to travelers looking for an extended stay or just passing through. Happy travels!

  • Stacey was an outstanding host! She was attentive, personable, and didn't hesitate to offer every amenity one could hope for. The charm and comfort of her home exceeded my expectations. Phoenixville itself is a cool little town that I wish I'd had more time to explore. Despite an intense work schedule, I felt quite relaxed. I would gladly stay with Stacey again.

    Adam2016-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Stacey was a wonderful and accommodating host. I needed a place for an extended period of time [~2.5 months] and I couldn't have found a better place to stay. Stacey went above and beyond the requirements of a normal host on Airbnb. The room is spacious, well-kept, and the house is in a great area. As a runner, Valley Forge National Park is a very short drive away and the view is amazing there. I would absolutely recommend Stacey and her home to any potential Airbnb guests.

    Matthew2014-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for 5 months. Stacey and lil Griffin are simply wonderful to be around. Very helpful too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are ok with dogs and are able to climb stairs. I usually cook a lot and Stacey was very sweet to let me use her kitchen all the time. The bedroom is spacious, clean and the whole house is so quaint. If you're in Phoenixville, you have to stay here! It will feel like home.

  • Keith is the man! Cool guy with a ton of interesting things to talk about--he will even let you play one of his guitars! Awesome house with tons of character, short walk to good restaurants, bars and even a brewery (try the stout at Stable 12). My favorite part was mornings on his porch, with a rocking chair and a hot cup of coffee watching the birds. All that and a comfortable bed too! I couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend staying there.

If you're looking for a quiet, cozy getaway in Phoenixville to rest your head, this place is for you! Located three blocks from Bridge and Main Streets, you've got all of the downtown triangle within a 15 minute walk. 10-15 minutes to 76 & 422 means you can get where you need to be quickly. Private access and standalone space, this efficiency is perfect for short or medium term stays. Daybed slides out to full size. Includes: wifi, mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, yard, and dog kisses.
The space is cozy and quirky, a cheerful spot decorated with eclectic art and vintage touches. Located at the back of the house away from the street with windows overlooking the shade garden and mural.
We love our quiet street, with "T" intersections at each end. A quick couple of blocks to restaurants, theatre, local festivals and activities like the Schuylkill River Trail and Canal. Just a little farther afield is world class shopping at King of Prussia Mall and historical sites such as Valley Forge Park.
  • Lovely, cozy, quiet and clean. Val and Steve were very helpful. I will be staying there again and would highly recommend it to everybody !

    steve2017-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was a pretty solid Airbnb to stay at. It's pretty much a studio apartment but more on the small side and no kitchen. But for someone who packs light and doesn't require many amenities when traveling for work/business like me, this was perfectly fine in terms of resources in the room itself. The bathroom and shower are really nice and clean-they really stock up well for guests. The room itself was a bit smaller than I had expected it to be but there's only so much you can tell from a picture of course. My only concern with this Airbnb was the presence of ants & mosquitos. You'll find ants in a few places and at night there could be a few mosquitos flying about. I'm a pretty outdoorsy person so it didn't bother me as much, but it was a bit tiring to see ants when I'm eating or mosquitos as I'm going to bed, after a while. But after all, it was the summer and it's a woodsy area of Pennsylvania to live in so some insects are bound to be in any home. The hosts are both very friendly and amenable. They make sure you have everything you need. I chatted with the hosts quite a bit during my stay to ask about local places to eat and sights to see. The dog is super friendly to guests as well. Neighborhood is great, but it's in an area of many narrow one-way streets so you might want to have a GPS or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps app on you so you can find your way out to the main roads to go places. Overall, definitely one of the better Airbnb's I've stayed at so far. I would recommend this to a friend depending on their need. My only recommendation is to do something to lose the ants and put in a mosquito trap or something. Thanks for the hospitality Val and Steve.

  • I enjoyed my stay at Val and Steve's place. It was clean, nicely set-up. It is a small space - felt like I was in a beautifully decorated "Tiny House". My own little bathroom, my own little cooking area, a twin day bed. I totally appreciated the privacy of my own entrance. Recommend it to people traveling alone! Thank you!

    Jody2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Val and Steve's place was lovely and perfect for a solo traveler! The room was totally clean, and included all the amenities I could have wanted--fridge, coffeemaker, snacks, toiletries, etc. Val communicated promptly and gave clear directions to her place, and the separate, secure entrance was highly appreciated. Perfectly located in downtown Phoenixville, with parking available on the street-- this is an ideal spot to stay if you're visiting the town.

    Owen2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Val and Steve's place was awesome. The apartment itself is cozy, stylishly decorated, and fantastically efficient. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and decoration. I loved that while the apartment was in a quiet location, it was just a short walk to all the amenities Phoenixville has to offer. Val was super responsive with any inquiries I had and we had the pleasure of meeting Steve. They are definitely rock stars at hosting and are very welcoming people. I would encourage anyone looking for a place in Phoenixville to book this listing.

Beautifully furnished den with a couch that converts into a firm, comfortable bed. Den is private and located in basement with access to powder room on first floor and shared bathroom on second floor. Use of washer, dryer, kitchen and deck. 20 minutes from Oaks Expo. 5 minutes from town.
Den is located in the basement and very private which allows guest to watch tv later at night without disturbing anyone else in the house. The electric fireplace is very cozy and generates heat. Den is beautifully decorated with new furniture. Kitchen is upgraded and spacious. Deck was recently replaced and is nicely shaded in the afternoon. Bathroom on the second floor is shared. Within walking distance to a few restaurants and a few minutes drive to downtown Phoenixville with trendy shops and restaurants. We also have a Farmer's Market on Saturdays and First Friday's with live music.
The neighborhood is amazingly quiet and safe. Since it is in a development you can easily take a half hour walk on non-busy streets. It is extremely convenient and close to a grocery store, gas station, post office, restaurants, and downtown Phoenixville within 5 minutes driving distance.
  • Holly was an excellent host. She was both welcoming and organized, expectations were clear, and her first tour answered all my questions before I even had to ask. The room was clean and comfortable - a little chilly at first but good space heater and an electric fireplace-heater thing warmed it up quickly. 13 steps up from the basement den to the powder room, and another floor up to the shower, so not wheelchair accessible. Access to refrigerator and kitchen, and breakfast nook to eat, made things easy. Key to the front door made to and fro travel easy too. Loved her two Maine coon cats. Would definitely return when in the area.

  • My stay was wonderful. Holly's place was very clean and cozy. Holly makes a killer omelet and invited me to an Italian opera, Easter Sunday get- together, dance party, and gave me the tour of Phoenixville! My place is across the street from Ideas Bookstore and close to Kimberton Whole Foods, Kimberton Inn, and Station Bistro. You’ll love it because of the coziness, the comfy bed, and the high ceilings. It's good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (room for kids on a floor futon or the room down the hall).
The house is right in the village of Kimberton and across from a great hang-out place: Ideas bookstore, where Shannon will welcome you with a cup of tea and a place to lounge. Our house is beautifully painted throughout, with living/dining room featuring "lazure" painting by Robert Logsdon. The room has individual heating/cooling control.
  • Needed a place to stay for the fire bird festival. Margo's listing came up and it was close enough to Phoenixville that we could get there in short order, but far enough away that we didn't have to worry about the traffic. The listing matched what Margo showed us, with the added benefit of a heater/air conditioner they just had installed to keep the temperature comfortable in the room. The queen size bed was comfy and where the home is located, is a nice quiet spot so that noise is not an issue when you're trying to get some sleep. Margo was a very professional and courteous host giving us all the information we needed when we arrived and was even flexible about when we would be checking in after a last-minute change in our schedule. Definitely enjoyed how she was able to accommodate us with anything we would need, but also gave us our privacy. If we are ever in the area again we will give Margo a ring.
