Locality
“Roundstone is an attractive harbour village perched on the edge of the Atlantic. There are a number of coffee shops and restaurants here and during summer many events take place - a pony show, a dog show and a weekly Sunday farmer's Market. There is a very good children's playground overlooking the water. Just outside this village on the road to Clifden there are two amazing beaches - the spectacular crescent shaped beaches of Gurteen and Dogs Bay. We highly recommend you take a picnic with you, walk along these two beautiful beaches, take a swim or just dip your feet and finish off the trip with a warm tea/coffee and some treats. Lovely place to visit all year round.”

Cafe
“Roundstone Music and Craft Shop lies within the walls of an old Franciscan Monastery in the quaint fishing village of Roundstone in the heart of Connemara. It is a fine Craftsman's Craft shop, Music, fashion and coffee shop. Bodhrans can be purchased here and they can also have Celtic designs hand painted on them or even a Family Crest. An excellent place to relax over coffee or even use the outdoor picnic area alongside the monastery bell tower in this beautiful location right on the water.”
