  • Amazing experience, hosts and flat were excellent. I would highly recommend to all, the flat is in an excellent location and all the sites are walkable. Rita and her husband were very warm and welcoming.

  • My partner and I stayed at Pettinarihome for a weekend in Rome. Rita and her husband picked us up right on time from our terminal (we gladly accepted her offer for the airport pickup). They are very considerate and thoughtful hosts-- professional and friendly. The apartment is in a prime location for sight-seeing-- walking distance to a lot of monuments, and just across the river from the Trastevere neighborhood. Rita recommended Dal Poeta for pizza-- an excellent choice. The apartment is small, but well-equipped, with everything you need, plus very charming, very Roman. We had a wonderful time, and would certainly stay there again next time we visit Rome.

  • Excellent location. Walkable distance to colosseum, vatacan, and much more.

    Jeff2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Rita was the best host! Perfect little apartment in the heart of Rome, within walking distance of everything. I would highly recommend having Rita pick you up at the airport.

  • My husband and I stayed at Pettinarihome September 26-28th and loved every second of it. Rita was waiting for us when we walked out of the airport. She is so nice and speaks great English! We couldn't have ask for a better location, especially since we were there for such a short time. It was easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. I can't wait to go back to Rome and will definitely be staying here again!

    Nicole2013-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay and Rita was a great host. Her husband took us to the airport at the end of our stay for a great rate. Their apartment was in a great location, too!

  • Apartment was exactly as shown. Super sweet place in a fabulour location and came stocked with little things that were much appreciated. Rita was very welcoming and helpful.

  • We had an awesome stay at Rita's apartment. The location was perfect for us as it was a stone's throw away from Trastevere. This is where we ate, drank and spent most of our time. It is also within walking distance of all of the main tourist areas. The apartment is very modern, clean, safe and has all the necessities one needs whilst travelling. Thanks for having us Rita!

Elegant with a modern touch. This loft has a dining room with a kitchen, a bed room and a bathroom. Quiet and bright space in an elegant building furnished with elevator. The whole apartment is at guests disposal. I'm always available to make my guests stay a special one! Fast replies to any request and helpfulness to fix every little problem that might occur ;-) Very nice area located between Termini train station and the Colosseum, well furnished with public transportation, bars and shops
  • Incredible hosts, beautiful place, central location. The best apartment to stay in if you are in Rome

    Olena2017-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cool place in a beautiful building! The suite had lots of character and had a nice layout. Ana gave us tons of great recommendations for places to eat. Ana's son checked us in and was also very helpful and kind. Definitely recommend staying here!

    Emily2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Cute building and interesting/fun apartment lay-out. Plenty of space and comfortable despite the high outdoor temps. We had a great time here.

    Rachel2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Ana and Paolo were fantastic hosts and provided lots of great recommendations for what to see and eat. They were very communicative throughout our stay. The loft is in a beautiful building with easy access to the Colosseum, Roman forum and plenty of other activities. Thanks for making our trip so pleasant!

    Lindsay2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a perfect location, the colosseum was a 10 minute walk and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in short walking distance. Getting the metro was so easy at the stop is just round the corner. Ana's son was waiting for us when we arrived and was very helpful, he gave us a map and pencilled in some of his recommendations, which were all great.

    Rache2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ana was great. The booking process was very easy with her. Check-In and check-out was super smooth. Her niece Sofia did an wonderful job on telling me what to do and where to go in Rome. The apartment was super clean and just as beautiful as on the pictures. Unfortunately it had no air condition, so it was a bit of a challenge to sleep up on the bed. Other than that: everything was simply perfect.

    Adi2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is well located, with most things you'll want to visit within walking distance. The central station is a short walk or a single stop on the subway away. The building is lovely. It can get a little warm in the apartment, which lacks air conditioning (you'll acclimatise quickly). Towels are provided but bring soap. Finally, Ana is great! She gave us lots of useful information about good places to eat and so on. Her son met us in person and got us settled in.

  • Loft was amazing! Very clean and cozy! The welcome was very ammicable! Would definetely stay there again!

Central, elegant open space overlooking a courtyard of a 16th century patrician building. The COLOSSEUM, PIAZZA NAVONA, THE PANTHEON, PIAZZA DI SPAGNA, TREVI, VATICAN, AND TRASTEVERE are easily reachable on foot. It is near renown restaurants, shops, bars, and Campo de' Fiori. It has very high ceilings with frescoes and ceiling coffers. The open space has a microwave oven with which you can cook breakfast or a quick snack, and a fridge. Cleaning fees (Euro 30) will be paid upon check-in.
Sleeping in the DELUXE room is a unique experience. You will have the opportunity to stay in an historical, patrician building of the early 16th century in the heart of Rome that has frescoes and 19-feet-high ceilings with ceiling coffers. You can also enjoy overlooking the beautiful inner courtyard from your balcony.
Campo de' Fiori is a central neighborhood in the heart of Rome. From the building, you can go on foot to the main Roman monuments, shopping streets, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and markets without taking a bus or the metro. Trastevere is 2 minutes' walk away; just cross Ponte Sisto to reach it. Although the apartment is centrally located, it is in a quiet square, anyway. Besides the shops, nearby, there are also the bus stop and several taxi stands. It is easy to reach both the Termini and the Trastevere stations.
  • Adriana was an amazing host, letting us drop our bags off before check in and arranging a car to the airport for us! The apartment is even more beautiful in person, as is the entire building it's in. The location is great and very central to the campo de fiori market and delicious food places like Roscioli, which is around the corner. There's also a small store next door which was convenient. Would love to come back!

  • This sumptuous apartment is in the perfect location for walking to all the major attractions in Rome. Adriana is a lovely host and gave us great suggestions of how to maximize our stay and get the most out of our four days in this beautiful city. The aesthetics of the apartment matched the wonderful artistic experience we had.

    Deb2017-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place was absolutely amazing. The property is stunning and so centrally located. Adriana was a fantastic host. Her helpful recommendations and this accommodation made our 3 nights in Rome a treat.

    Jeevan2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was no more than a minutes' walk to restaurants, markets and shops, which was perfect for us. The apartment is also located very centrally to all of the monuments in Rome. Although it was a big day of walking, we managed to see a lot by foot. The apartment itself is stunning. High ceilings and beautiful details everywhere, with a lot of space internally. Adriana was an amazing host. We were so appreciative of her time as she explained several places to go and to eat during our stay. She took us through all of the house rules and even organised a cab for us for our departure. Highly recommend if you want to be in close proximity to a great vibe! We loved it and would definitely stay here again!

  • Location, location, location!!!! Seriously perfect! We walked to all the sites and it was so centrally located. No more than 10 minutes to everything. The room is a stunner. If you want old charm this place is it. The ceilings are so tall and have so much beautiful detail. Not much of a kitchen, but your in Rome who cares eat out! The bathroom was nice and there was plenty of space. The linens were clean and soft. Anything you need she had (blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner , etc.) We enjoyed sitting on the sofa at the end of the day and reading or looking at pictures. Adriana was an amazing host! Answered all out questions, gave us great advice, and made sure we knew where to go in the city. 10 out of 10!

Accogliente, piccola, pulita, bellissima! a pochi passi dal Colosseo e dai principali monumenti. Collocata in una bellissima via piena di negozi, cafè, ristoranti. Appena restaurata con filosofia del recupero di materiali antichi.
The house is very quiet, with private entrance, large veranda, overlooking the inner courtyard of the building. Ground Floor. It is composed of a living area with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, typical Roman pots, our recipes and our cookbooks available! Around the window, the grottesche style Domus Aurea of Nerone: decorative elements discovered in 1480 and immediately popular among the painters of the time. A sleeping area with TV and sofa-bed of the highest quality, which can be assembled as a double bed or two single beds. I would like to be clear on the bed: it is a sofa bed. The sleeping area is very very small, but in return you can enjoy the view of the bricks and original ceilings. The choice is yours! Bathroom with large shower, yellow marble shower hand-carved. Statuary Carrara marble sink, reused, it was a seventeenth-century fountain. The area above the stairs is an exhibition area, a visual enjoyment but not accessible. The veranda is decorated with two huge pots of Piranesi in terracotta and a fountain with Triton, to emphasize the fine line between present and eternal journey in this city than in any other breathe. ---------------- Please note that check ins after 11 pm are not possible for me. If you wish, there is a Company of professionals check in working overnight for a price of 50 € to pay them directly, that I can call for you. On holidays the price is higher. If you need further information do not hesitate. Thank you ------------------- NEW: PLEASE GIVE A LOOK TO MY NEW LISTING COLOSSEUM DREAM NEST! THE HOUSES ARE CONFINING !!
Our house is located in a big street where you can find all shops, cafè or useful places you'll need. You can just walk to main monuments. For longer journeys, bus and metro stop is just around the corner. Our district is currently considered the most interesting regarding social life, events, new restaurants and shopping. It is a historic district of Rome, where ancient crafts are living with new and latest trends.
  • Lucia was a very gracious host. She was flexible about our Meeting times and then took time to go over a map with us to orient ourselves in Rome. She suggested a few Restaurants (used her Suggestion and it was fantastic!) There is wifi in the Apartment and she also provides an Italian SIM cell phone for emergencies and a tablet to use as well. The Apartment is in a very walkable Portion of the City and is very easy to get around by bus or by Metro. The atmosphere is just as described in the photos! Very cute place.

    Stephanie2015-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia was the perfect host! She was totally flexible and met us at her beautiful apartment with only an hour warning from us of the time. She was warm and welcoming; gave us great advice about the neighborhood and told us to call with any questions during our stay. Perfect!!

    George2015-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia was really taking care of me with a lot of useful hints and nice restaurant tips in the neighborhood. Any other question I could directly address and got a prompt response. I felt like home.

    Ina2016-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • There aren't enough words to describe just how amazing this place is. The location is superb, only a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum. What's better though, is how close it is to the best restaurants and breakfast places that I've ever been to. Lucia recommended lots of good places to eat, and they were all amazing. Everywhere we went, was on her recommendation and everything exceeded expectations. Lucia was the most lovely host. Anything I needed or any questions I had, Lucia would response instantly. If you want a proper authentic trip to Italy and sample the best food at great prices, you must stay here. Perfect for a romantic trip - my girlfriend was so impressed and said it was perfect.

    Sam2017-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay in Rome! The location and place was amazing, just what we needed. Lucia was very helpful at explaining the neighborhood, giving recommendations and ensuring a comfortable stay. Thanks so much!

    Maia2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia was a great host who kept us well informed about the sight seeings and the events in Rome. The flat is beautiful with good location. In the apartment ,we can use the refrigerator, the kitchen ,tablet PC and so on. In short, everything is very good experience.Thank you!

    2015-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The coliseum dream is just that! It's absolutely adorable. It's rustic charm is so comforting. It is fully functional and the private courtyard is also such a nice touch for sitting outside away from the busy city. The neighbourhood has everything close by and Lucia is an amazing host. She can recommend anything even offered to call us taxis. I can't wait to stay there again. I would highly recommend it.

    Rebecca2016-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • The listing description was entirely accurate and Lucia did make us feel very welcome indeed. The apartment is truly beautiful and, although on a busy road, it's set back and very quiet. It's also very secure. If you're looking for some sun to bask in of an afternoon or evening before venturing our, you won't find any but, if you're looking for a cool down after a hot day, it's perfect: shady and away from the sun. The bed is a sofa bed but we found it very comfortable. With the double bed out, it is quite a squeeze but we didn't mind this as we were in very little. The place was also very clean and tidy which was impressive for such a rustic apartment. Lucia was very accommodating and offered a range of good advice about local restaurants. If, like us, you like the al fresco dining (cold beer / warm sun) though, you might be better off in the touristy restaurants. A great little hide-away in busy Rome.

  • Great compact apartment very close to both Campo Di Fiori and alsoTrastavere- couldn't wish for a better position. Apartment was very well stocked with supplies-coffee, juices, yoghurt and a welcome bottle of wine. The airport pickup was great value, and solves lots of hassles. Rita was easy to communicate with, and helpful. Will stay again next time we are in Rome

    Jeanette2014-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay! Rita and her husband were amazing! Communication was very easy. Apartment was in the perfect location. There is a market downstairs and plenty of restaurants. The open air flower/food market is right next door. I would definitely recommend this apartment for your stay!

  • Lived in the apartment for four days, it was excellent! Thanks Rita and Fabio for a pleasant time in Rome!

    Margarita2014-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing apartment with everything you need, very romantic, in a perfect location. So many details made us feel welcome and at home. When we arrived, as well as when we left, Rita and Fabio treated us like friends in a perfect balance of warmth and distance. We loved this place, with its Italian flair, and would go back again tomorrow if we could. We strongly recommend this apartment. Baci baci!

    Anne2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Rita's place was amazing! It was so beautiful and comfortable. She made it feel like we were in our very own Roman apartment. And the bed! So comfortable (which is hard to find in Europe. Not too soft and not too hard; just right)! The location was amazing! My husband and I walked endlessly through the alleys, tasting and exploring all Rome has to offer! The only problem; we couldn't live in Rita's place permanently! She was a kind host who thought of everything and made sure we were comfortable. Her husband brought us to the airport early in the morning for a fee and when we come back to Rome, we will definitely stay at Rita's again!

    Christina2016-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first airbnb experience, and it could not have been better! The host was very responsive and accommodating regarding our arrival as well as departure. The unit was super cute, clean, and the host provided amenities such as wi-fi, breakfast, welcome wine, and anything we could have needed during our stay. The place is in a great, safe location and within walking distance to many of the sights in Rome. Rita - thank you so much for an amazing experience!

    michelle2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment with very central location. All major sights are at a walkable distance. Airport transfers were stress free and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Rita's place.

  • I had a wonderful time at Rita's apartment! It is just as pictured, and is super close to Campo de' Fiori so you'll always have tons of convenient dining options. I walked all the way up to the Borghese Gallery, over to Castle Sant'Angelo, and back to the apartment--so easy to get to everything from this location. Rita and her husband were so sweet and had everything we could possibly think of ready and waiting for us. Absolutely recommend!

  • We had a pretty good time in Rome and The apartment is very similar of what you see in the pictures! Luca is a very nice host! He received us with beer, water and coke and five us a lot of tips on the best places to visit! The only thing that could be better is the air conditioning! It cools down the temperature a bit but its not enough during summer

    Rodrigo2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived in Rome after a series of long flights. Luca greeted us outside and led us to the apartment. Inside he had water, beer, and soda for us. He showed us a map of Rome and gave us directions and pointed out key landmarks. He was extremely friendly and a great host. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Rome. If I ever visit Rome again I will be sure to contact Luca.

    Matthew2015-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was excellent. It was the best apartment that I've ever had in Airbnb. Luca was so helpful telling us recommendations of places that are a must in Rome.

    German2015-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Luca's place is where I would want to live were I to move to Rome. It's a very industrial/chic feeling building that is comfortable, efficient and in a private location that is close to all modes of transportation, making getting around Rome a breeze. He took the time to show us a couple recommended spots on the map, and got us a last minute dinner reservation at one of his favorite spots that was incredible!

    Sarah2016-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at the apartment slightly later than planned (having missed the train), but Luca was very patient and understanding. He met us outside the apartment and kindly showed us around; the apartment is exactly like the pictures, if not better. Luca took his time to give tips on the best places to visit and eat, he had even provided a map and guide book for us. He had also stocked the fridge with cola, beer and water and bought us an Easter cake! It was my first time using Airbnb and due to this positive experience I will be using it again. Just a suggestion, get a bus or tram from termini to Porta Maggiore instead of walking to the apartment, we arrived at night and walking was not very pleasant.

    Jessica2016-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a lovely stay in Rome at Luca's apartment. Everything was perfect and Luca was the most helpful host by giving us tips and informations to visit and discover Rome. We already know where we'll be staying when we'll return to Rome!

  • We only stayed at Luca's apartment for one night, but we wished we had stayed longer! It's a great space in a great location and it may very well have the best Airbnb host around! Luca is passionate about Rome & it's hard not to get excited about the city when he's talking about it. The apartment has everything you need when you arrive, including both non & alcoholic drinks. Thank you for a tremendously great stay, Luca!!!

  • Luca was very helpful! We landed at 7:00 AM after a long day of traveling from the states. He was willing to meet us and check us in early. The house was spotless, very comfortable. He even had the fridge stocked with cold beer, water, and cokes for us. He also spent 30 minutes going over a map e had for us. He highlighted neighborhoods to check out. Game us some tips about site seeing. And told us we could contact him anytime if we had questions or just needed a reservation. Luca is a perfect host. It is easy to either walk or catch a bus to all the sites. Or if you're tired a cab only costs about 10€. The apartment is located near a grocery store, which is helpful.

  • Really enjoyed our stay at Claudio's place. Very clean and attractive two bedroom apartment. Claudio was also very easy to communicate with and also met us to let us in and show us the place. He also came by and helped us get a taxi to the airport. There was 4 of us staying at his place and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet apartment close to Romes main attractions.

  • Claudio is very kindly person who do a lot of facet of us, the house is beautiful and clean as the pics in airbnb. I love it!

    Stephanie2015-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Claudio for a perfect flat and your kindness! It was like you have said in your ad and we appreciated the own kitchen, the big sizes of the bedrooms, good beds, the short distance to the Metro station and my absolute favorite is and was the elevator!! So after nearly one week all of us 4 persons defenetly recommend your flat!! And if we once come back to Rome you will hear from us!!

  • We arrived in Rome on a Tuesday morning, and Claudio was waiting for us. He was pleasant and welcoming, and spent the right amount of time making sure we understood how the appliances worked. The apartment itself was very clean, and well stocked with dishes and basic amenities such as instant coffee and olive oil. The decorations were elegant and simple, and the beds comfortable. We were able to the walls of the ancient city in ten minutes, and fifteen minutes more had us at the Colosseum. There is also a subway stop (Re di Roma very close). The neighborhood was a normal residential part of Rome -- my mother enjoyed people watching from the fourth floor balcony in her bedroom, and sipping coffee in the cafe downstairs every morning. We had a nice time!

  • Took my Mum away for a 3 night break in Rome - absolutely perfect. Apartment is just like in the pictures, wifi worked well, 20 mins walk to the Colosseum/Palatine Hill etc and round the corner from an amazing Basilica and loads of shops/a supermarket. Claudio was a wonderful host and if I visit Rome again I'd stay here every time! Thanks!

  • Lovely host came to meet us at our preferred time. He was friendly and informative. The place was beautiful and very clean. Excellent location. I have stayed in several air bnbs now and can say that comparatively this is excellent value for money.

Trastevere San Cosimato , fully renovated Loft close to all the main attractions of Rome and in the Heart of the most characteristic area of the city. Walking Distance to Campo de Fiori , Piazza Venezia and 10 Min driving from termini Station.
Renovated 60 sqm Two Floor Loft in Trastevere. Double Services , AirCon each Floor ,Sky Satellite TV , 32" TV Screen , Classy Leaving Room , Fournished Kitchen , Big Dining Table and 1 available Bike , High Speed Wi-Fi .
Perhaps the most charming neighborhood in all of Rome is Trastevere. Preserving its Italian touch together with the international student life, it is considered one of the most beautiful areas in the Eternal City. As you lose yourself down the winding cobblestone streets and dive into an authentic Roman trattoria, you'll soon discover why everyone falls in love with this magnifico quartiere 'just across the Tiber' as its name suggests. When it comes to attractions in Trastevere, this neighborhood has no shortage of them. From romantic winding alleyways and cobblestone streets to magestic churches and splendid piazzas, there's plenty to keep tourists busy in the neck of the woods! One of the true beauties of Trastevere is Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. Locals and tourists have always been mesmerized by this looker of a piazza because of its lovely outdoor cafès that are great for people watching, fountain and the glorious Santa Maria in Trastevere Church. A picture perfect moment for tourists happens when admiring the golden mosaics of the this beautiful church glistening in the sun. The Basilica is one of the oldest churches in Rome and was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. By night, the piazza also gets a lot of action between diners and street performers. Here, one never grows bored! After you've moved on from Santa Maria in Trastevere church, your next stop should be Santa Cecilia in Trastevere Church (Piazza Santa Cecilia in Trastevere, 22). It's got some really amazing frescoes painted by Pietro Cavallini. Tourists also come here to marvel at the striking sculpture of Saint Cecilia, whom the church gets its name from. The white marble statue lies just beneath the altar and features the saint with her head half-severed.
  • Great location ;) and cozy apartament. Ciao

    Fernanda2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Valter's apartment is so cozy! It's good for 2 or 3 people. The neighborhood is amazing, with a lot restaurants and bar 2 or 3 blocks away, but is quiet to sleep. You have public transportation to colosseum and piazza vencezia a 300 meters.

    Rodrigo2017-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Let me start with the good. The place is on the ground floor so for a family like ours with heavy luggage, it was perfect. Quick distance to the tram for adults, however since I was with my toddler, this was a bit of a walk. Place is bright and airy. He had everything, washer, iron,tv, etc. Although we didn't need any of it, it was nice to know we had it at our disposal. There is 1.5 bath, which was beneficial since the majn bedroom is upstairs. Now with the not so good parts. I saw on the reviews about toilet seats being cracked and some mildew in the bathroom. I figured with more than 2 complaints, it would be fixed by now. but unfortunately it is not. The bed has a good size, but there were only 2 pillows and they need to be changed. Lastly, this is more of a tip and not a complaint. The place is not suitable for families with small children. The coffee table and dining table are both thick glass furniture and although pretty is a huge red flag to parents with toddlers. The staircase to the bedroom is spiraled with holes in them , so I was constantly nervous to see my 4yo go up and down. Other than that, I love that the location is away from the craziness of the center. It had so many good restaurants around it and on the corner is a great pastry cafe. Valter is also very responsive so that helped a lot.

    Joanne2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was totally fine. We had a nice time in Valter's appartment. It's a pretty open and central app. The communication was fantastic! I would come back! Thank you!

  • Great place in a great location. Absolutely would recommend.

    Rebecca2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • We have had a great time at Valter's place! It is spaceus, nice, clean and at a good location. Valter has been a great host by his very fast replies on our requests to help us when needed. Absolutely recommended!

    Jeroen2017-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Valter was a great host and we loved his loft! He was very helpful during our stay. The apartment is located in an amazing part of Rome, with so many options for restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

    Madeline2016-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Valter's place was very spacious and super comfortable for my girlfriend and me to share. She slept downstairs on the divan and I slept upstairs in the loft on the bed, so we each had our own space. We loved the location and walked everywhere for meals and coffee. My sister was staying at a nearby hotel with my mom and she was jealous of our set-up! She said, "let's move here!" The neighborhood was chilled out compared to central Rome, so it was nice to cross the bridge after a day of crowded tourism and wind down in a vibrant, but much less hectic, neighborhood. All the other reviews were consistent with how we found the place, so I would say Airbnb represents Valter's home very accurately. I would absolutely stay there again. Thank you!

Spacious home with 3 bedrooms, terrace, kitchen with sofa bed, a bathroom, in one of the most popular districts of Rome: San Lorenzo! Full of pubs, restaurants, pizzerias, connected by tram, bus, metro, ten minutes from Termini station.
Stop trams 3 and 19 under house.
The San Lorenzo neighborhood is very juvenile because there is the University "La Sapienza", which with its 200,000 students fills the many locales, pubs , restaurants and pizzerias that are there. The street below the house is a little noisy, so for those who are not used the traffic, we recommend the use of ear plugs.
  • Great space and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating! You must be prepared for ALOT of street noise and traffic. Breakfast spread was great and I enjoyed the conversation.

  • Danilo communicated clearly and although wasn't there to meet me, ensured that the other flatmate was. The room was exactly as cited.. However in summer it is very hot and no air con. With windows open it is very noisy. The location is great and easily accessible to all the major sites. Great value for money!

    beverley2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Janette & Danilo are a lovely couple. Very respectful, quiet and always very thoughtful. I loved my stay, the way they prepare everything for the next day makes you feel welcomed.

    Marcela2017-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great, albeit short, stay at Danilo's place. I arrived late at night and Danilo was flexible and understanding, even after my train was delayed and I had no Wi-Fi to communicate! It is a 20-25 minute walk from Roma Termini, which I was comfortable with. There is a lot of happening nightlife nearby if that's your thing. It is a younger crowd. The bedroom was spacious with a bed that should be fine for two people (I was by myself). Danilo was a very generous and welcoming host. He offered recommendations, shared his fridge and food, and was accommodating with my questions and requests -- like how to flush the toilet... :) Overall, I would definitely recommend staying. Just be aware that the walk from the train station is 20-25 mins in case you have a lot of luggage or are opposed to Ubering. Cheers!

    Jack (John)2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Danilo is a very friendly and cordially host. He answered very quick to every question and told us a lot of interesting information concerning Rome. He organized every day a great breakfast for us. A perfect place to visit Rome!

    Daniel2018-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant stay here; the hosts were very nice indeed and did everything to make me feel most welcome. The room was a little noisy (road traffic) however and could do with extra glazing to keep it quieter, but I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Rome; very convenient for work and getting around and a great neighbourhood with good food!

    Sean2016-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed a few days at Danilo's place during my trip too Rome. Everything was nicely arranged and the location is near to the station and public transportation is in front of the door. Danilo's is a nice guy and takes time for a chat or give some inside rome tips. I would definitely recommend!

    Berry2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The days At Danilo and Janett's place was perfect. Clean, good neighborhood close to all, and super breakfast ! The hosts are very nice and helpful, I recommend to everyone !

The neighborhood has hosted artists, artisans, writers and intellectuals as well as well known exponents of the cinematic world.
  • This Airbnb was a great deal.. very cozy . The host was very helpful in checking us in , he provided us with maps and tips on how to get around . My accommodation is near the historic center 150 m. from the Termini station. St. John's basilica, Santa Maria maggiore and the Coliseum can also be reached on foot. Excellent connections with metro lines A, B and C. Bus stops and trains are just short distances to the Fiumicino and ciampino airports. You will like my accommodation for these reasons: location, comfort and atmosphere.
The accommodation With its high-end design and at the same time simple and comfortable, this apartment will allow guests to go on a holiday mood in their stay in Rome. The apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway, for business travel or for fun. Just a few steps from Violet Suite, you will be able to taste Rome's best amatriciana sauce. The apartment is perfectly connected by public transportation, across the main door is a bus stop and a few meters away is the nearest metro station (Vittorio Emanuele, line A). The Termini central station is just a 5 minute walk. The space's special design, quality furniture, unique atmosphere with a strong Roman history presence and the personalized services make this apartment ideal for a short holiday or for a longer stay. The apartment has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to cook a romantic dinner, a breakfast or some simple snacks.
  • Robby is a very good host The communication was easy. The place is perfect . I recommend Robby's place

    Marc2017-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our staying at Robby's apartment was really enjoyable. We were received of a friend from Robby. Robby and his friend were before and during our stay very helpful and wonderful to us. The apartment was really great, walking distance to the Roma Termini, public transport and everything you need to buy. The kitchen was filled with essentials to prepare a breakfast and dinner. We would definitely recommend this apartment of Robby and stay here again if back to Rome.

    Anton2016-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Robby was an excellent host. He arrived punctually to let us into the flat and was very friendly and welcoming. The flat is just as it looks in the pictures - it's small and you have to watch your head if you're tall as the ceilings in the bedroom area and the seating area below are low but we didn't mind as the layout was generally very comfortable and the place was really clean . The kitchen has all you need . Also it is quiet at night- there's no noise from outside as the Windows look out onto an inner courtyard . The location is very convenient for Termini and within easy walking distance of the centre. Plenty of good cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets that stay open late in the area. We'd definitely recommend Robbys loft and hope to stay again when we come back to Rome.

    Alison2016-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Robby's place was "fantástico!!!" Great location close to the train station, just take the train from the airport to the "Termini" station then a three minute walk will have your right at his place. Also, it is close to the hop on hop off bus, about a five minute walk from the station. Place is small (US - think New York) but it is very quaint and just as advertised. very comfortable too, lots of little stores you can buy wine cheese and supplies nearby. On a scale from one to ten I'd recommend Robby and his place very highly. My wife and I had a great time in Rome.

    William2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Robby's place is in a perfect location near the main train station (Termini), only a two minute walk. You can leave luggage at the station when you check out for €6, and there is an excellent food court attached to the station open until midnight every night. The apartment is cute and cosy, exactly like the pictures in Robby's advert. Robby brought me a croissant for breakfast on the day I checked out - so sweet!

    Jennifer2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great loft apartment really close to lots of interesting things. Plenty of bars/restaurants and historical places. Robby is a perfect host and his apartment is modern cool and comfortable.

  • Great location!

    Joannie2017-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Robby's place was extremely convenient as it is very close to the train station and other public transits. We enjoyed our stay at the location, getting around town was easy and the building was safe with several locked doors before entering the apartment. The property was comfortable, reasonably priced, and we had a great holiday staying there! We had to check in at around 11pm which was quite late for usual airbnb check-in hours, but Robby was extremely flexible and helpful. He waited for us to check us into the apartment and was very welcoming. Robby is an excellent host, very responsive to our messages and very helpful when we needed some recommendations of how to go about around town. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at his apartment and would recommend the place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience and a caring host!

  • We absolutely loves Tomasso's place! We stayed here for the first leg of our honeymoon in Rome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tomasso is a great host and went so far as to list down all the restaurants we can go to and give an overview of the area. He responds quickly and is very helpful in terms of our inquiries. He even gave us an Asti as a gift when we arrived! Located in a quiet, peaceful location and was walking distance to the Vatican city and the Ottaviano Metro stop. Great restaurants can be found all around as indicated in Tomasso's list but expect to walk anywhere between 5-15 minutes to each. The flat was very clean and charming, and basic amenities were provided. Don't be dissuaded by the lack of air conditioning as it was fairly cold at night even at summertime and there was an electric fan. We would definitely stay here again!

  • I really enjoyed staying here. We used some of his restaurant suggestions and they were very good.

  • Tommaso's apartment is a lovely older apartment and though small has a great spacious feel. The kitchen is tiny but, with so many amazing restaurants (like Il Gatto e L'Uva) close by this was not an issue for us. The apartment is walking distance from main sightseeing attractions on the eastern side of the Tiber and with good bus service to other areas. The 70 stops at the end of the street and right outside the Termini. It is a quiet apartment at night. The only down side was the hot water system seemed to be broken so no hot showers.

  • Beautiful apartment close to Vatican which was truly amazing but I'm so disappointed in the cleanliness!! First of all! The moment we walk in we get ready to do laundry... there was moldy towels in the washer, we contacted the host and he came to get them but we had to wash the washer before being able to use it. The floors were not clean, first thing I had to do was clean the floor which isn't a great way to start a vacation, there was dust everywhere. The hot water goes on and off, the shower drain was not draining!... honestly hate that I paid 73 Canadian dollars for a cleaning that was half done! For the location and the apartment it was great but cleanliness isn't the strong point here!

    Taylor2017-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent apartment in a great neighborhood. Very convenient to bus lines and many options for food and drinks in the neighborhood. Tommaso was a considerate and responsive host.

  • Location Location Location. Right on the edge of all that Rome has to offer. We walked everywhere. Shops, restaurants and cafes right at your doorstep. We had some amazing meals within a 2-4 minute walk. Lots of locally owned shops in the area which was what I wanted instead of over priced labels. The 3 flights of stairs were a little daunting but only getting bags up on the first day. Kids were stoked to have fast WiFi and a double bed each. Overall great place to explore Rome.

  • This place was amazing and affordable! We had a party of 6 stay here and the host was incredibly accommodating. She even went out of her way to give us a second pair of keys when our party split up.  She was very attentive to what we needed and what were were looking for, and even helped arrange rides to and from the airport. She was incredibly helpful with that, instead of getting hussled by different rates or irritated and distracted. The location was PERFECT.  We saw the Spanish Steps which led to the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Piazza Navona. All very beautiful places. There's also a close taxi stop if you don't feel like walking to the Colosseum or anywhere else. We didn't start sightseeing until late afternoon, so this place was exactly what we needed for days of leisure.  It includes 3 rooms, one room has a complete bathroom(smaller than the others but a bathroom? Yes please!). And another complete bathroom in the hall.  The kitchen was supplied with what's necessary to cook, reheat, and store leftovers if you can stop yourself from eating your meal.  Wi-Fi and a TV, allows anyone staying behind to be comfortable. All in all, this was a wonderful find on airnb, and if ever I come back( I did toss a coin into the fountain) I will definitely use this perfect find again. In the meantime I will recommend it to others visiting Rome.

We are also near to the biggest shopping centre in Europe: Euroma 2 (10 mins by bus)
  • Lorenzo’s place is really really nice. Except the room I was in was very small and have very little to offer. There was some stains on the bed covers, that was a bit concerning. Lorenzo is nice but not very approachable. I feel like when I had to talk to him, he was lecturing me. It might fault for my lack of communication before I checked in but it seems like he didn’t enjoy my stay there so I left a day early. I wish it felt more homey but it wasn’t. It didn’t suck I was when I got there but what’s worst was that each time Lorenzo had his friends over, they can be quite noisy. Overall it’s an ok stay for a short time but I’d prefer to get my own Airbnb for longer stays.

    EmilyArleen2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • I was very grateful to Lorenzo for staying awake until the wee small hours of Tuesday morning to meet me. My plane had landed late at Fiumicino on Monday night, I had no internet on my phone, and was following a screenshot of his directions! By the time I arrived at the metro stop the relevant bus service had finished so I had to take a taxi, and find the 'bridge' specified in the directions. I was duly given a tour of the flat upon arriving and was made to feel immediately welcome. Once I was in and settled I began my sightseeing, which is basically what I had come to Rome to do. The Tintoretto quarter, where the flat is located, is south of the city centre (of Colosseum fame) by a few miles, at a guess, so to get into town I had to take a bus and then the metro. This was manageable with a 7 day pass for public transport I purchased on my first morning there. It was fairly easy to navigate the public transport system (the metro having only two lines helped a lot). I was a bit limited in 'going out' in town; the last bus from the metro stop was at 23.30, after which I would have to have taken a taxi which were quite pricey. Other than that the location was handy for local amenities. I could eat a meal fit for Kings, or at least Prince Regents, at a little café/restaurant in the row of shops underneath the flat for €8!! That included a full 12" pizza, a beer, a dessert, and a coffee!!! Bellissimo!! If you're looking for a cheap and cheerful trip to Rome, and you're not bothered about being too close to the city centre, this is the place for you.

  • Fabrizia and Lorenzo's apartment is amazing! It's really spacious and modern, and full of interesting pop cultural artefacts. They also have an awesome cat called Muffin, who is highly entertaining. It's easy enough to get in and out of the city on the bus (the directions to the flat from Termini are fool-proof). most of all, they're friendly and helpful hosts, and pointed me in the direction of some really great places in Rome that were off the usual tourist trail. Would definitely stay again!

  • Fabrizia and Lorenzo are very nice hosts. Their apartment is large and bright with a terrace overlooking a small park. The neighborhood is quiet compared to most of Rome so you can sleep well. Communications with Fabrizia was easy and Lorenzo met me during his lunch break to show me around. Muffin, the big, friendly cat will keep you company. Excellent wifi. No problem with using the kitchen. Also, much appreciated, there is consistent hot water in the shower. I suggest booking the larger room, which I used, as it has a large window overlooking a park. Recommended.
