  • Rita and her husband were very welcoming and so lovely to us upon our arrival in Rome. We were staying over Christmas and they had ensured the place was well stocked with goodies! including Christmas cake, wine, yoghurts, juices, biscuits and many more little bits and pieces! It was so lovely to come to such a beautiful place during Christmas. The apartment is brilliantly located, halfway between the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and the Colosseum one way, and Vatican and Castle Sant' Angelo the other! We walked to most places, and found it to be extremely easy to get to everything. Campo de Fiori is a couple of minutes walk away and has some of the yummiest restaurants we visited whilst in Italy. We can't recommend this place enough!

    Emma2013-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Rita and her husband was an amazing host. The apartment was really nice and it had everything we needed. Although we couldn't do the breakfast I bet it would have been amazing also. We arrived late because of a delay and Rita was there waiting for us with a big smile. That is one thing I won't forget, you will love Rita because she is so nice.

    Antonio2014-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is identical to the photos and has everything that you need from travel adapters to little nibbles to snack on, the apartment is a little small but you won't be spending much time inside with all the attractions to visit. The colosseum is about an easy 20 minute walk from the apartment. My partner and I only got to see that so we will definitely be back! Across the bridge there are lots of places to eat, there is a cafe/bar on the left which do a great breakfast! If u enjoy a drink we recommend a Brazilian bar called Bum Bum. Rita is a great host and extremely helpful, always at the other end of the phone when we had questions. Rita and her husband also offer a collection and drop off too and from the airport for a small fee which I found very convenient.

    Emma 2015-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend Rita's cosy apartment for the reasons below. Rita is a charming host, picking us up at the airport then introducing us to our home for 4 days that was presented with loving care, a fridge full of food and drink, wine to celebrate our 30 th wedding anniversary ,all the condiments you could ask for and a fully stocked bathroom, air conditioner, safe and a comfortable bed.Rita also suggested a great pizza restaurant and pasta restaurant and maps and guide books supplied. The apartment is in a great position, 10 minutes walk to pantheon 20 minutes to the Vatican along the river, 30 minutes to colosseum.( we love to walk!) There are plenty of restaurants nearby to try, a great gelati shop outside your door plus a small supermarket. The area feels very safe to walk around at night. A very convenient location indeed! Only cons I can think of is the apartment is three flights up stairs, so may not suit some less agile and the shower while completely functional may be a bit small if you are a very tall person. Thanks so much Rita for making our stay in Rome that much more enjoyable with your hospitality. Tanya Geisel

  • Loved this cozy studio near Trestevere and Campo Di Fiori! It was just what we needed for the night!

    Conor2013-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Rita and fabio were super excellent hosts.they have organized transfers from the termini station and to the airport which was very helpful for such a big city as rome. They have organized wine for our arrival and had food ready for breakfast and snacks.the place was clean and perfect for our honeymoon.the place is conveniently located close to a lot of sights (we walked most of the time) and a lot of good restaurants and bars.

    Arianne2013-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment was ideally located to access Rome's most famous attractions with most in easy walking distance. Fabio picked us up at the airport and also dropped us back there (at a very reasonable cost) and Rita was very quick to respond to any queries. We appreciated the little extra touches within the apartment which made us feel very welcome.

    Ann2015-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay in Rome, especially because of Rita's great apartment! The apartment was in the perfect location, making it easy to walk to most tourist locations. It was also stocked with snacks and a nice bottle of wine. The apartment was very comfy and clean. Rita was very helpful, she arranged for transportation from the airport and provided local tips for our stay. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Rome!

Elegant with a modern touch. This loft has a dining room with a kitchen, a bed room and a bathroom. Quiet and bright space in an elegant building furnished with elevator. The whole apartment is at guests disposal. I'm always available to make my guests stay a special one! Fast replies to any request and helpfulness to fix every little problem that might occur ;-) Very nice area located between Termini train station and the Colosseum, well furnished with public transportation, bars and shops
  • Wonderful location. We met with Ana's son who was kind and showed us all the good spots nearby for food and sightseeing. The place was a bit hot the first night due to the heat wave, but we easily adjusted for the other nights. Would definitely recommend.

    Tanner2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Rome at Ana's place. Her niece was waiting for us at the flat when we arrived for check-in and provided us a map and friendly advice about the area and what to do in Rome. The location is ideal for sight seeing in Rome, 10-15 min walk to the Colosseum area, <5 walk from the Metro and plenty of restaurants in the area.

    Michael2017-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We spent an entire week in Rome with my girlfriend. Everything was fine: Ana guided us all the way through and quickly responded to all questions we got. We have a permanent access to get in touch with Ana's son Paolo which was great to solve any problems (which we didn't have though). The flat was nearly our expectations. Location is fine (the only problem is the metro was shut down the whole period due to a reconstruction). We were amazed by a house entrance and an olf-fashioned elevator. You have a few stores around the place 5 minutes walk. I would definitely recommend you visiting Rome and stay with Ana as it was a pleasant experience and had no everyday barriers you have to fight with.

    Andrey2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location very close to the main terminus and also a subway station. The flat is in a beautiful old building with a pretty courtyard. The lift is magical. Ana and her son are very helpful hosts. However we felt that the bedroom in the flat had a student feel about it - old postcards stuck to the bathroom door and flimsy furniture - which for the price wasn't quite what we had expected. The bed is on an elevated platform with a makeshift stair which felt slightly unsafe to access. This also makes it quite hot in summer months, although there are fans in the room.

    Phillip2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a perfect location, the colosseum was a 10 minute walk and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in short walking distance. Getting the metro was so easy at the stop is just round the corner. Ana's son was waiting for us when we arrived and was very helpful, he gave us a map and pencilled in some of his recommendations, which were all great.

    Rache2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice place for a single person or a couple. Very quiet inside and very central.

    Simon2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great flat, very central, only few minutes away from Coloseum. Ana, the host was very helpful, gave us very useful info about transport/ restaurants. Quick communication. I definitely recommend the place!

  • Very nice flat, well decorated and with full amenities. Claudio was very nice and welcoming. Perfect location to join Termini Station (where you can find buses to go to the old city) or to join Coliseum. We recommend Buono Ristorante (young and family customers, very nice food), which is only 5 minutes walk from the flat (Via Albenga 1) and to test the Paticceria "Pompi" (the best Tiramusu in Roma).

    Alice2013-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great, cosy, design apartment. Small, but has everything you need. Location perfect, just a few steps from the Metro Re di Roma. Claudio was the perfect host. He gave us all the necessary information and made us feel at home.Bed also good, 1m40. The apartment was very clean and the towels and shower were excellent. Only tip, bring ear plugs with you, at night it is noisy. Wifi is fine, ok a bit slow, but not bad at all and really handy that you can take it with you into the city. Thanks Claudio!

    Jackie2014-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Just as shown in the pictures. I'd stay at Claudio's place again.

    Ester2015-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and amazing location! We will definitely recommend this place to anyone! We will definitely be back!

    Arnold2015-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was wonderful. The apartment is a bit smaller than it appears online, but we spent most of our time out in Rome exploring anyways so we didn't mind. It's location is just above the street, but it isn't as loud as we expected. We were provided with everything we would need while staying there, including a travel adaptor, blow dryer, and straightener (flat iron)! We were met just outside the flat as soon as we walked up, with no issues whatsoever.

    Quinton2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location next to lots of local restaurants and a subway stop. On the ground floor so the street noise was noticeable at times but the bedroom is near the rear of the apartment. Claudio was very responsive and helpful during our checkin day.

    David2014-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • The best thing I can say about Claudio's apartment is that once you get there it is even better than the pictures. We were two people and the place felt pretty big for us. Besides that, he left it extremely clean and organized for us and equiped with everything we could need for our stay. It is also important to say that the location is amazing and you can get anywhere from there with the metro and buses.

    Marcos2013-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The experiences were smooth and hassles free. We are very welcomed by Claudio who was very helpful. The apartment was as per photos and descriptions with everything you need. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to travel to Rome and want a convenient apartment.

This is a central, elegant open space overlooking a courtyard of a 16th century patrician building. The COLOSSEUM, PIAZZA NAVONA, THE PANTHEON, PIAZZA DI SPAGNA, TREVI, VATICAN, AND TRASTEVERE are easily reachable on foot. It is near renown restaurants, shops, bars, and Campo de' Fiori. It has very high ceilings with frescoes and ceiling coffers. The open space has a microwave oven with which you can cook breakfast or a quick snack, and a fridge. Cleaning fees (Euro 30) will be paid upon check-in.
Sleeping in the DELUXE room is a unique experience. You will have the opportunity to stay in an historical, patrician building of the early 16th century in the heart of Rome that has frescoes and 19-feet-high ceilings with ceiling coffers. You can also enjoy overlooking the beautiful inner courtyard from your balcony.
Campo de' Fiori is a central neighborhood in the heart of Rome. From the building, you can go on foot to the main Roman monuments, shopping streets, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and markets without taking a bus or the metro. Trastevere is 2 minutes' walk away; just cross Ponte Sisto to reach it. Although the apartment is centrally located, it is in a quiet square, anyway. Besides the shops, nearby, there are also the bus stop and several taxi stands. It is easy to reach both the Termini and the Trastevere stations.
  • The Apartment Deluxe is a truly fantastic place to stay, only surpassed by Adriana, the kindest and most professional host we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Open the large oak doors to an authentic Italian stay in a spacious and romantic studio that has frescos, throws and an outside courtyard to enjoy the sun. After a long day exploring Rome it was great to sit and enjoy a cold glass of wine in the sun drenched courtyard, upload photos on the wifi and relax with a hot shower - the shower was very powerful! Adriana went above and beyond as a host and made our stay magical. She welcomed us, organised transport to the airport and explained how we could travel by public transport on our way out (surprisingly easy to find our way, and cheap!) and recommended some tasty local restaurants we simply wouldn't have found. Even let us leave bags at the complex on our final day. Things that are good to know; the studio has wifi, shower gel and towels, kettle and comfortable bed with extra pillows/layers. It is above a quiet square and SILENT each night. 5 minute walk and you're in a square of bars and restaurants. Best of all...the location. Walk 15minutes in any direction to see a main sight; the colosseum, the Spanish steps, Piazza Navonna, Vatican (URL HIDDEN) name a few. We will definitely be returning and cannot wait to see Adriana again. Thank you!

    Maximillian2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Adriana's apartment was in the perfect location and it was a beautiful apartment in a stunning building. We were so close to all the main attractions and we loved being able to wander around the area and find a beautiful spot for dinner or a drink. Adriana was very helpful and attentive and I couldn't recommend staying here enough.

    Alex2017-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is absolutely stunning. You feel like you're staying in 17th century Rome. The bed(s) are super comfortable. And you can't beat the location. You can walk to pretty much everything. To top it off Adrianna arranged for a driver to pick us up from and bring us back to the airport after our stay. I would highly recommend this place!

    Olga2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • When we return to Rome, we will definitely be staying here again. When you walk into the building, you're hit immediately by the fact that this is a historic property. The apartment itself has high ceilings with gorgeous paintings and ornate wood detail. Every element of the decor was refined. Open up the windows, and you can see the bustling piazza below. The bed is quite comfortable, and despite the place's close proximity to shops and restaurants and sights, when you close up the windows, you get a dark little cocoon for sleeping. Adriana was immensely helpful and knowledgable as well. She's an easy-going person who's thought out everything you might need for your trip. We're so grateful we chose to stay with Adriana for our first few days in Italy, because she set the tone for a wonderful trip.

    April2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Adriana's place! The location is incredible and the flat is so cute in a beautiful building. Adriana was friendly, nice, super easy to communicate with and very helpful. We had a problem renting a car and she helped us talk to the car rental in Italian. She was also very helpful with ordering cabs for us and local recommendations. Would love to stay there again and highly recommend it.

    Rinat2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Adriana went above and beyond what a good host would do. We were only able to stay a couple nights, but she really made it a lovely quick trip. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to stay anywhere near this part of Rome.

    Kelsy2017-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolutely beautiful apartment in a great neighbourhood. The host, Adriana is incredibly helpful and friendly. She was a fantastic host and did everything possible to make sure we had a great stay. The apartment really is one of a kind and the neighbourhood in which it's located is vibrant, fun and so central. I'd highly recommend this apartment. Thank you so much, Adriana for being a great host!

    Meghan2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was no more than a minutes' walk to restaurants, markets and shops, which was perfect for us. The apartment is also located very centrally to all of the monuments in Rome. Although it was a big day of walking, we managed to see a lot by foot. The apartment itself is stunning. High ceilings and beautiful details everywhere, with a lot of space internally. Adriana was an amazing host. We were so appreciative of her time as she explained several places to go and to eat during our stay. She took us through all of the house rules and even organised a cab for us for our departure. Highly recommend if you want to be in close proximity to a great vibe! We loved it and would definitely stay here again!

This just under 600 sq ft apartment is located on the top, 4th floor of a small 17th century building, without elevator. The accommodation consists of one bedroom, one living room with sofa, kitchenette, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and shower. The apartment is equipped with all modern conveniences, including satellite TV, internet, stereo, CD/DVD, independent heating, safe, washing machine, hairdryer, etc. This bright apartment is fitted with double-glazed windows, so it's very quiet. Breakfast is included in the price.
  • This place is worth every kind word and star it has received! The best hosts I have ever had on Air BnB. They go out of their way for you. The place is so well located and extremely comfortable on top of all that!

  • Really recommend Rita's place. It is a very nice place for a stay in Rome. Walking distance to all the sites. Communication with Rita was easy, She was waiting for us at the appartment and her spouse Fabio helped us with out luggage. The appartment was very nice with everything we needed (including a functional kitchen), there is a supermarket almost next door. They had very nice welcome "package" and a lot of nice attentions (including a lot of food for breakfast). They gave us good pointers for restaurant in the area, made arrangement to have a transport to the airport on the morning of our departure. The appartment was really comfortable and we slept very well in the bed. Thank you very much Rita and Fabio. Paul & Nathalie

  • Rita made arrangement for our airport pick up. I would highly recommend!! It was so easy and well worth it. The apt is located in the perfect area. Within walking distance to all sights and great restsurants. Rita has supplied the house with everything you will every need for a great stay .. Thank you Rita & Fabio

    Ellen2016-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment was perfect for a couple exploring Rome by foot. The location is exceptional- right next to Campo de Fiori and within 30 minutes walk of all of the major historical sites of Rome. Norita and Fabio met us at the airport as arranged and at the end of our visit Fabio took us to our cruise ship. The arrangements worked well and it was nice to have all of the transfers handled efficiently and for a reasonable price. We arrived very early, but the apartment was ready early and provided everything we needed. We never met Rita, but the apartment was stocked with all of the amenities you could every expect as well as coffee, creamer, juice, fresh fruit, snacks, wine, etc. The air-conditioning and the Wifi worked well. There were steps, but no big deal. If you are coming to Rome, be prepared for long walks with steps and uneven cobblestones. The bathroom is small with a divided configuration, but this is an old building, so that is expected. If we every stay in Rome again, I would stay here in a heartbeat.

    Pell2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a holiday in Rome, very central location and on walking distance of all the monuments. Great restaurants nearby, on a very alive part of the city. The apartment is very cozy and has a very good space, with everything one needs for a good stay. When I say everything, I mean everything: bed linen, towels, dishes, breakfast, personal hygiene items. It's incredible how much we feel at home in this place. Rita and Fabio are really excellent hosts. Very friendly and correct. Rita has left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift for us, and a lot of other personal touches, which, altogether, states: you are very welcome here. We loved our stay and we recommend this place for everyone!

    Ademar Rodrigues2016-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice accommodations, exactly as described. I unfortunately didn't get to meet Rita in person, but her husband Fabio was very pleasant, helpful, and strong! He hauled our two enormous suitcases up the many stairs to the apartment which we really appreciated. Communication with Rita was very easy and she responded virtually instantaneously to any message I sent her. We also took advantage of their offered pickup/drop off service to and from the airport in Rome, and that was also very useful. The apartment is in a neighborhood that makes walking to the Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, and Trastevere areas really easy. Would definitely recommend.

    Kate2014-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • It was only one day, Rita and Fabio as hosts were very gracious. Pettnarihome near Ponte Sisto has everything I`ve needed. It`s clean and spacios. Everything was well organised. I recommend this aptment.

    Maciej2014-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Even though I didn't get to meet Rita, our staying at her apartment was perfect. She picked up my father and brother as planned (very recommended service), and was very friendly. When we got to the apartment we saw Rita left us fruits, juices, milk and other things for breakfast, which was very kind of her. The apartment is wonderfully located just minutes from the Pantheon, and downstairs there is the best pastry shop in Rome... The only down side is that it is on the third floor with no elevator, which might be a problem for older people or people traveling with young kids. Other than that it is perfect, thank you Rita very much!

Accogliente, piccola, pulita, bellissima! a pochi passi dal Colosseo e dai principali monumenti. Collocata in una bellissima via piena di negozi, cafè, ristoranti. Appena restaurata con filosofia del recupero di materiali antichi.
The house is very quiet, with private entrance, large veranda, overlooking the inner courtyard of the building. Ground Floor. It is composed of a living area with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, typical Roman pots, our recipes and our cookbooks available! Around the window, the grottesche style Domus Aurea of Nerone: decorative elements discovered in 1480 and immediately popular among the painters of the time. A sleeping area with TV and sofa-bed of the highest quality, which can be assembled as a double bed or two single beds. I would like to be clear on the bed: it is a sofa bed. The sleeping area is very very small, but in return you can enjoy the view of the bricks and original ceilings. The choice is yours! Bathroom with large shower, yellow marble shower hand-carved. Statuary Carrara marble sink, reused, it was a seventeenth-century fountain. The area above the stairs is an exhibition area, a visual enjoyment but not accessible. The veranda is decorated with two huge pots of Piranesi in terracotta and a fountain with Triton, to emphasize the fine line between present and eternal journey in this city than in any other breathe. ---------------- Please note that check ins after 11 pm are not possible for me. I just feel I am living in my dream house !! the location is very convenient, just next to the metro, 2 stop to Roma termini and 5 mins walk to colosseum!! And surrounding have many restaurants, and tabacchi! Lucia welcome me warmly and gave me a lot of information and recommendation , which really useful!! As This is my first time travel on my own, Lucia had really take care of me which make me feel very stable and friendly!! Truly !! I should highly recommend this place for every traveller to Roma!! Thank you so much Lucia !!

  • Lucia made my husband and I feel very welcome. She has thought of everything - she provided a list of nearby restaurants and maps for getting around, and even arranged a car service to and from the airport! The apartment looks just like the photos - very unique and well cared for. The patio opens to a back courtyard and is quiet, great for enjoying a glass of wine. The place itself was great for a couple nights, but for two people, it might be a bit tight for longer stays. For a single traveller, it would be very comfortable. The location is great - not even a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, close to busses, subways and everything else is walkable. Thank you for being such a great host Lucia!

    Christine2016-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia was an excellent host! She greeted us at the apartment and reviewed a map of Rome with us, making many suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. She was very friendly, available, and responsive, and eager to help us with any questions or problems as they arose. The apartment was very cozy, perfect for the two of us, and the inside courtyard/terrace afforded a lot of privacy; we definitely didn't feel like we were on a busy street! The details and design of the apartment were gorgeous; there was a real artistic flair and care taken in the decoration throughout. The location was perfect for us - easily walkable to the Colosseum, and very close to the metro. We ended our journey through Europe at Lucia's apartment, and it was a great way to close out our trip!

  • We had a perfect trip to Rome. Lucia is wonderful host and helps you with everything. Apartment is very beautiful, cool and clean. It feels like you really live in the Rome:) Sofabed isn't the nicest one to sleep but it didn't bother us though. We definitely recommend this place, it's amazing!

    Heikki2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia was very responsive and helpful. She was flexible with our arrival with was super nice. When we arrived she had maps available for us and recommended some great places to eat. The walk to the Coliseum was literally 5 minutes, it was so close. Tons of food options on the same block and a gelato place next door. Also, we didn't use it, but there is a bus that stops right in front. The place itself felt safe because you need a key to get into the building from the street then two more keys to get into the courtyard where the apartment is. The apartment itself looked bigger in the pictures, lots of mirrors which made it look larger than it actually is. Also the stairs were a little misleading-- you're not allowed up them. The place was nice and it was cool that everything was made using antiques. The bed was a pull out couch which wasn't very comfortable. And I didn't like the restroom at all, it didn't have a window or something for ventilation so it had a mildew and damp smell to it (maybe there was a vent I just didn't know how to use it). That's the only problem I had with the place though. Otherwise, the location is great and the kitchen was spacious. Definitely got the Roman experience! And she was super friendly.

  • Lucia was incredibly helpful providing restaurants and transportation for our quick visit. We were under a time crunch with no communication and Lucia was more than willing to set up a taxi and wait to hear from us. She went above and beyond throughout our stay.

    Huey2016-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia is very very very kind! and the apartment is perfect. If I come Roma next time, I would like to stay there again. I won't forget the nice experience!!

  • Had a great stay at Andrea's loft. The place is exactly as advertised. The neighborhood is great to stay in and is a 10-20 minute walk to lots of the primary sites in Rome (although the Vatican is probably a long hike - take the metro). I would recommend his place to anyone staying in Rome.

    Thomas2017-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in Andrea's appartment was wonderful. He is just a great host and made sure everything was going great for us by communicating with us during our stay. The appartment is clean, well located and is brand new. You have in there everything you need to be comfortable, in a great area where there are not a lot of tourists (which is rare in the city!) and a lot of good restaurants nearby. Andrea provided us with a list of great restaurants, showed us on a map nice areas to visit and answered all our questions. Merci beaucoup Andrea! Thanks to you, our stay in Rome was memorable. If you're going to Rome, you have to stay in this apartment! Stephanie & Stephane

  • This was our first time using airbnb and it won't be the last due to Andrea being our host. He always responded quickly to our messages before we arrived and made things very simple. The place was everything we could of wanted, clean, tidy and the most fantastic location. Andrea gave us suggestions of things to do/see, he circled everywhere of interest on a map provided in the apartment. It helped us greatly. Thank you again!

    Jenny2015-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea was an exceptional host, whose communication was flawless through our booking and our stay. He was extremely accommodating with our check in and check out time, and had the apartment in beautiful condition for us. He also gave us numerous recommendations for excellent pizzerias and bars in the city, which all transpired to be super, in particular the pizza in Dar Poeta was divine. The apartment itself, while compact, is extremely pleasant and comfortable, and kept in exceptionally good condition. It's very centrally located (only a ten minute stroll to the Colosseum and five minutes from Termini Station), and also very close to a metro stop. In conclusion I'd have to give Andrea and his wonderful apartment five stars - we'd certainly stay again and I would definitely recommend to all travellers.

    Donnacha2015-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrea's apartment. It was exactly as described with nice finishing touches - towels tied in ribbons, toiletries, equiped kitchen and a bottle of wine to enjoy. The apartment was spotless, quiet and secure and in an ideal location for sightseeing, within a 10 -15 minute walk to the Colesseum. A grocery store was within a 5 minute walk. Andrea met us at the apartment exactly at the pre-arranged time, provided several restaurant recommedations and responded promptly to any emails, We would highly recommend Andrea's apartment due to the positive features it offered.

    Mike2015-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • We have just had an amazing week in Rome staying at Andrea's wnderful appartment. It looked great in the photos and they probably didn't do it justice! The location is superb and Andrea was most helpful from booking right through to checkout.

    Claire2017-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • We truly recommend staying at Andreas place. The loft is so modern, clean, well equipped and unique! We have no regrets at all. It was quiet and easily accessible from one of the main roads. Very close to Colloseum and a short walk to get to the city centre. Complete kitchen if you want to cook and a very nice bathroom with bath tub and and everything. The interior is perfectly chosen and the space is managed perfectly. If we ever go to Rome again... this will be the place we stay!! Andrea is a a friendly and happy host with good recommendations in restaurants. Enjoy!

    Jens2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location, easily accessible to all major sites in Rome. Andrea is a perfect host. He took time with us at the beginning of the visit to orient us to the city. The house was well stocked with provisions including a bottle of wine. We will certainly come back again.

We are superhosts from January 2015... This apartment is cozy, romantic and full of light. It is located under the dome of St Peter's, but in a very quiet and peaceful street. 100 meters from the apartment there is the San Pietro station connected with the metro.
We are super hosts from January 2015... This apartment ( with a regular license ) is cozy , romantic and full of light. We have furnished to make our guests feel pampered. It consists of 1 bedroom , 1 small study, living room , fully equipped kitchen , 1 bathroom (with bathtub) and 1 small balcony that overlooks Rome's rooftops . It can comfortably accommodate up to 3 people ( the third guest max 12 years old). It is in the center of Rome but is located in a quiet and very peacefull street. The main attractions and places of interest are within easy walking distance . In addition to St. Peter, Vatican Museums and the amazing Sistine Chapel , we are a short walk from Castel Sant ' Angelo, Trastevere and Gianicolo. The metro station SAN PIETRO is 100 meters far from the house. The apartment are equipped with: 1 bathroom with bathtub and shower, 1 computer, 1 mobile phone with a 5 euro free of charge, free complimentary toiletries, towels and sheets, air conditioning, automatic heating , 1 safe, 2 flat digital TV, ( satellite) Free fast wi fi 1 hairdryer, kettle with free tea and herbal teas refrigerator with free water and juices. In the surrounding area is full of bars and restaurants. At around 100 meters there is a Carrefour supermarket.
  • We stayed for 2 nights. The location was good and the room was lovely, very clean and organized. Andrea and Carlotta are very nice and welcoming people. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

    Laura2013-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Everything is amazing! Andrea's apt is more beatiful than the pictures. And Andrea is a very good host!

    FANG2015-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb and Andrea set the bar high. He helped us by arranging car service from the airport which made arrival really easy, and was there to greet us when we arrived. He walked two tired travelers through everything we needed to know about the apartment and local area, and had a helpful information booklet for everything we forgot. The apartment was super clean and just as pictured. The neighborhood was quiet and away from tourist Rome, which was just what we wanted. For people who enjoy walking, the distance from most sites (and Trestevere for dinner) was fine even in 90 degree weather. For sites further away, the apartment's proximity to San Pietro station made getting around the city a breeze by train and subway. Having a washing machine was a big plus. All in all a great value and a great start to our trip to Italy.

    Tom2015-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment with lovely furnishings and many extras.

    Lisa2015-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is absolutely stunning! Looking at the pictures you may think, its too good to be true...but the photos are an accurate depiction of the beauty that is this apartment! Andrea very graciously arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, which helped alleviate a lot of stress for us as we were getting married in Italy and had our luggage, wedding dress, and suit with us. We got their earlier than the check in time so Andrea arranged for us to be dropped off at a cafe down the street to the apartment where he soon met us to check us in. The cafe was adorable, and delicious, and became where we had breakfast every morning during our stay. Andrea was warm and friendly right from the start. He showed us how everything in the apartment worked and left us with maps, books, and suggestions on places we should visit and eat at. The apartment itself, as mentioned before, was beautiful. It was also quite large, there was more than enough space for the two of us. From the apartment, we were able to travel everywhere we wanted to be on foot. Rome can be a bit chaotic and loud in certain areas, but this apartment is tucked away on a hill in a mostly residential neighborhood which was nice. Andrea again arranged for a cab to take us to the train station the day of check out which was great. We would absolutely recommend staying at this apartment! It was quite luxurious and Andrea is warm and hospitable. Thank you again for everything Xx

  • What a lovely place. Andrea (the host) has thought of everything to ensure the stay is home from home. Pick up service was brilliant & Andrea made sure we had all the relevant information upon arrival. The apartment is well located to the Vatican & within a quiet neighbourhood. Apartment is very clean & meant for a fantastic long weekend away to celebrate our 1st anniversary.

    Kevin2015-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • In this apartment we spend a week and our stay was simply amazing! Location is excellent, we went everywhere on foot, to the Vatican just 5 minutes to walk. The apartment is very comfortable, bright, excellent interiors with all necessary equipment. Carlotta helped us in all matters. Surely we will return to this wonderful apartment more than once.

  • Thank you, Patrizia for your hospitality. Your place is beautiful and I enjoyed it. Regards, Dario

    Dario2016-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Patrizia and her husband were very welcoming picking us up from the airport and thoughtfully introducing us to the local layout. I only wish I had more time to stay at their place and have them give me a tour of some archaeological sites!

    Justin2016-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • Patrizia and the place were great. Highly recommend.

    Thomas2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great decision on our side to pick this place. Patrizia helped us with our planning even before we reached ROMA. She is very helpful and also picked us up late in the night for a minimal amount. The place is good to stay for two to three people . You can walk down to the nearest train station and take a train to ROMA Termini.

    Julie2015-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay w Patrizia & Luca, they were very accommodating to all our needs, and helpful with directions. Our suite was clean & comfortable, we appreciated the basics which is difficult to carry around while traveling ( coffee, tea, juice, butter, yogurt, cereal, sugar, water & milk) & fresh fruit, & croissants delivered daily. Transit was easy & economical with a week pass, however it is 15-20min walk to the train which is a nice walk heading out for the day, but long coming home from a day of sightseeing or beach. Late night transit can be difficult so you really have to plan ahead. Overall..... ++! Thanks!!

    Paul2013-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • I thought Patrizia's room in Ostia Antica was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. She was an excellent host, full of suggestions, ideas and information about so many historical points in Rome and Ostia Antica. I found her communication was very swift and accurate. The room was huge with a double bed, fresh sheets, stack of towels and a table and chair set. The closet was also huge with lots of drawer space. It was so quiet at night, you could sleep peacefully. There's a little kitchen corner with a little fridge and coffee machine and kettle. Patrizia brings you fresh fruit and baguettes with butter and jam or cereal. The neighbourhood is so safe, you can walk around at night and just enjoy the ambiance and the culture that surrounds you. Patrizia recommended a restaurant and the food was fantastic with excellent prices as well. I did not find that her place was too far out of town at all. I found that it was so destressing to hop on that train and within 20 minutes you are in a peaceful, safe town with a medieval castle and ruins to explore right at your doorstep. You could walk to everything ( cafes, bars, restaurants, metro, ruins) or hop onto the metro and go into Rome. I can't say enough good things about this place, it was perfect for me! Thank you Patrizia for a wonderful visit and when I come back with my daughter, we'll stay with you! I found the host, the room, the price, the value was excellent....

    Connie2014-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful experience!! This house is cute, clean and cozy, and within close walking distance of the ruins (which were an incredible sight). Patrizia was so accommodating, as I arrived early on my first day and she made it seem like it was no problem at all. She provided everything I needed, fresh fruits and breakfast food and a great little espresso maker. She even gave me a lift to the airport my last day. Overall, such a wonderful stay, I'd highly recommend this lovely house.

    Kate2015-12-02T00:00:00Z

  • Georgio's apartment is clean, tasteful, and homey. It has character and charm, and my friend and I were very comfortable there. The location is incredible both for the immediate neighborhood and for being centrally located in Rome. Little issues were that the bed was acceptable but not especially comfortable, the shower is indeed small, and the air conditioner is temperamental, though it got the job done in a very hot period of the summer, once it was working. Nevertheless these were small inconveniences for a lovely apartment in an ideal location. VERY happy with our stay at Georgio's.

    Nell2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • We've spend 2 nights at Giorgios place and it's really been a good choice! The check-in was easy, although we knew before that the apartment wouldn't be ready that early (we arrived in the morning hours) we could leave our luggage at his place and already pick up the keys. The apartment was absolutely clean. We just had a few difficulties to lock the door, but Giorgio was really helpful and responded immediately to our e-mail. The neighbourhood is just perfect, the only pity: a bit noisy - but i guess that's about the same everywhere in the city center! Grazie mille Giorgio - we enjoyed our stay!

    Irene2015-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location on a quiet street steps from Piazza Navona! Giorgio was super responsive and helpful upon our arrival and the apartment is clean and comfortable. A great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of the major sites and lots of restaurants!

  • You're right in the thick of things staying at Casa di Flavia - including environmental noise - but for the location? It may well be worth it! I was left helpful information guides and a bus map (thanks), and the DVD player/DVDs came in handy for a bit of distraction and relaxation after a long day pounding the pavement.

    Gertrud2014-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed here one night. The apartment is in a great location and it's simple and to the point. Great communicative host ways available for any sort of question. The two drawbacks would be that the only way the fan works is leaving the window open, and the shower/tub is incredibly small

  • Book this apartment! Edoardo is the perfect host. We had an amazing time at his home, it is the perfect authentic Rome experience. Edoardo arranged a transfer from the airport and a late check in for us, which was great. The apartment itself is exactly what you want - immaculately clean, spacious, with a great homely feel to it. The kitchen is fully functional and was stocked with complimentary basics which we used in having espressos and making Italian food with ingredients from the local supermarket a short walk away. The Sicilian patisserie a short walk away is super delicious. The apartment is close to metro and buses, we got all over Rome and Vatican using public transport. I highly recommend this apartment, and Edoardo as a host - he gave us lots of tips on local favourites in Rome to visit and we had a great night out in Trastevere on Edoardo's recommendation. Thanks Edoardo for your amazing hospitality.

  • Edoardo's home is exactly as described. The home is beautiful and there was plenty of room for us all. He was very helpful with getting us transportation to and from the airport as well as meeting my mother and grandmother for checkin since their flight arrived earlier than ours. He was also very attentive and checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is very big. This house is close to the Vatican, about a 20 minute walk or 19euro uber black. It is also about a 25euro uber black to the coliseum. we had a fantastic time in his home and we would definitely like to stay again in the future when we return to Rome.

  • Edoardo is amazing! He planned an itinerary for us since we only had one full day in Rome. He helped arrange everything and made us feel really comfortable so far from home. The apartment is perfect! Beautiful, exceptionally clean and in a nice location a short walk from metro and just a few stops into the city center. Definitely stay here!!

A charming light-filled apartment, made especially cozy by a recent remodeling. A perfect romantic hideaway, enriched by the ancient ceiling with wooden rafters, by the sight of the bricks from the orginal construction, and by a mosaic in the typical geometric style of Rome. The apartment consists of one room perfectly acclimatized (air conditioned) and endowed with an elegant cooking alcove finished in travertine marble (where guests will find everything necessary for cooking). Free Internet wifi connection also available!!! The sleeping area, furnished with refined upholstery and fitted with a comfortable double bed, is positioned on a typical wooden loft, reached by a staircase/wardrobe that‘s in harmony with the ceiling. The views enjoyed by the aparment are truly charming; from both the sleeping loft and the first floor you can gaze out on the the piazza dei Coronari, Mount Giordano, and the Castle Sant’Angelo as it rises from the stretch of Lungotevere. Completing the apartment is a comfortable sofa, which converts into another double bed, on which you can relax and enjoy the modern liquid crystal television. The bathroom, also finished in travertine marble, contains a shower and is well stocked with everything that guests need (towels, soap, shampoo). The apartment is situated on the second floor of a typical three-story building; you’re therefore assured of perfect privacy and quiet, and instead of an elevator there is a splendid seventeenth century spiral staircase in peperino (volcano tuff which is grey with black little grains like peppergrains; this kind of stone is found in the Albani hills near Rome). The house It is ideal for couple, friends, family with kids! Not ideal for older or people with mobility problems. The location of the apartment is exceptional as you are extremely close to all the classic sights of Rome. Castle Sant’Angelo, Saint Peter’s, Piazza Navona, Campo de’Fiori and the Pantheon are all no more than an easy three minute walk. In the immediate vicinity it’s worth a moment to linger along the two streets that border via di Panico: via dei Coronari and via di Monte Giordano. The first, via dei Coronari, about half a kilometer long (from piazza Navona to the Tiber), partially retraces the route of the so-called Via Recta (traces of the latter’s pavement and shops have been found six meters down from the current street level), an imperial era street that ran from Via Lata, today’s Corso, to the Nero bridge. Sisto IV Della Rovere (1471-1484), the first decidedly “urbanist” pope, commissioned its redirection; but, in the direction of the Pantheon, its straight stretch remained blocked, as it is today, by the Palazzo Capranica; in the opposite direction, it ends by flowing into the “canale di Ponte.” Via dei Coronari, bustling with the sale of souvenirs and devotions dear to pilgrims, was for centuries full of movement and rich like all the streets travelled by the crowds of visitors. Then, especially after the opening of Corso Vittorio, the street was abandoned to the poorer population. From the 50’s, a spontaneous movement of rebirth took hold of this area, which has today become the most beautiful showcase of large and small roman antique dealers. Via di Monte Giordano, instead, gets its name from being one of the many artifical hills created by the accumulation of archeological debris, or, as some hypothesize, from the dumping of the refuse and rubble of the nearby river port from the roman times (off Tor di Nona). Even Dante speaks about the “Monte” in the XVIII song of the Inferno. The mountain became known as Monte Giordano in 1328, taking its name from Giordano Orsini, Roman senator in 1341. In succeeding centuries, the Orsini family was succeeded by the Gabriellis and then, finally, the Taverna. This is why even today the beautiful building at the top of the mountain is known as “Palazzo Taverna.” Via di Panico is without doubt a beautiful street, rich in history and provides an opportunity to absorb the subtle emotions of having been one of the most tormented centers of the difficult baronial times in the city. The perfect starting point to best enjoy the best of the eternal city!
  • We stayed one week at Alessandro's apartment (2 people) and it was just perfect ! The apartment is really nice, extremely clean and in the perfect location (we never had to take any public transportation). In short, we loved it !

  • We met Mrs Cappelli outside the flat upon our arrival, we found our hosts very welcoming and kind. The apartment is small but cosy and very clean, I would definitely recommend people to stay here if you are looking for an authentic Rome experience. The apartment location was perfect for sight seeing and very easy to find even though we was unfamiliar with Rome. The surrounding area was great, full of tasty restaurants and nice boutique shops. Thank you for helping make our honeymoon special!

  • Alessandro's place was fantastic. Up a set of stairs in a 500 year old watch tower leads you into a small comfortable apartment overlooking the shops and restaurants on the street below. It's central - within walking distance of all the major attractions and restaurant districts of Rome. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Thanks Alessandro!

The strategic location adjacent to Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. A leisurely stroll through the streets of the neighborhood pantheon and 'can see everything that there is more than Roman ..... by the San Pietrini small shops, the great confusion of the squares that dominates and characterizes Rome to small churches and monuments. Less than 10 minutes walk away you get to the course, the main shopping street that borders the Piazza Venezia and Spanish Steps. In addition for those who love the nightlife center of Rome and 'famous for the special Wine bars and pubs where you can spend a pleasant evening after a typical Roman dinner.
E' sempre pieno di vita ad ogni ora del giorno e della notte.
  • Great location and Virginia was an excellent host! The apartment itself, however, is somewhat smaller then expected, basically 2 bedrooms, one bathroom (which you can only get to via one of the bedrooms) and a small kitchen. Overall we enjoyed staying here. Thanks Virginia!

    IULIA2014-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very convenient apartment within a few steps of the Pantheon. You can walk anywhere in central Rome from here. Lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. The apartment was small but adequate. The host responded promptly to e-mails and texts. Good Wi-Fi.

    Greg2014-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were greeted by Virginia and she was extremely helpful and was there for us throughout the trip even to arrange transportation to and from train station. The location of this apartment was perfect. We where right near the Pantheon an amazing sight. Smaller apartment then we thought. The place is perfect for two. The Wifi was great. Because of the location was so fantastic we were able to forget about how small it was. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay there again.

    Emily2014-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Upon our arrival Virginia welcomed us and showed us around the flat and also she recommended a few places in the neighbouring arra. She replied quickly to our messages. She is lovely. The flat has just the most perfect location; it is right by the Pantheon and the very famous La Casa del Tazza D'oro Caffè. Actually there are many excellent restaurants and gelaterias nearby. The flat was in good condition and it was clean. The beds were comfortable, the bedsheets and towels were fresh and clean. There is a little restaurant next door and some noise came through the open window but it was not disturbing at all.

    Edina2016-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Bad host! We arranged on the day to meet her at the apt't but she was 1hr and 30mins late and we had to wait outside with luggage. She made an excuse that wasn't valid and half heartily apologised. Really a bad first impression! The place is in a great location, 1min walk to the pantheon. And you can walk to all the attractions. The place was half clean, little dirty inside and dusty. The cupboards were falling apart. She imposes a cleaning fee of $30 euro which I'd refuse to pay upon booking. It can get noisy upto midnight as there's a restaurant downstairs. It's about 10euro cab from termini train station.

    Alison2015-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights with 3 friends. It was absolutely perfect! The apartment was very clean and just as it looks in the pictures. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The location is very central, within walking distance from all the main attractions. We would highly recommend staying here.

    Laura2014-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic flat right in the centre of Rome. We went as two couples and the flat was perfect for that - two big double rooms and a well appointed kitchen. Virginia is a brilliant host and was hugely helpful when one of us forgot our passport. Couldn't recommend more.

A charming apartment, made especially cozy by a recent remodeling. It is located on the first floor (without elevator) of an ancient building which dates back to the sixteenth century. A very noiseless place right in the historical center of the city, in Urbana street, a road which two thousand years ago was named “Vicus Patricius” and throbbed with life during the Roman imperial government. The “Suburra” – the previous name of this district located on the sloped of the Quirinale and Viminale hills spreading as far as Esquilino hill – was a suburban neighbourhood of ill-fame, but where also new freedmen and patricians built their houses, surrounded by taverns, brothels, prostitutes, thieves, traders and some respectable people. The heart of Rome was like this. During the Emperor Vespasian time the Colosseum was built down the eastern part of the city, while on the south you could admire the Arch of Tito and the temple of Nettuno on the west. Today the district of Suburra is called “Rione Monti”, the first neighbourhood of the city, one of the few places where you can have a real, genuine breathing area. The apartment consists of one room (even if it is divided in two parts by a corridor) perfectly acclimatized (air conditioned) and endowed with an elegant cooking alcove finished in travertine marble (where guests will find everything necessary for cooking). The sleeping area has got a chestnut boiserie which has been made out of fifteenth century beam floors of the building that today homes the Teatro dei Satiri, previously cavea of the Teatro di Pompeo (the place where the Emperor Julius Caesar was murdered). Beside the double-bed there is an intermediate wooden floor fitted with a single bed. The loft is made precious by the restoration work of the ancient sixteenth century beam ceiling, by the sight of bricks from the original construction, by a mosaic whose “unicum” you can see in the Museo Nazionale Romano di Palazzo Massimo alle Terme and by a modern liquid crystal television. The bathroom, also finished in travertine marble, contains a shower and is well stocked with everything that guests need (towels, soap, shampoo). The flat has also free wifi Internet connection!!! Location The location of the apartment is exceptional as you are actually close to all the classic sights of Rome. The Colosseum and Fori Imperiali are no more than an easy five minute walk. Moreover the “Cavour” underground (subway) station is approximately one hundred meters far from the apartment. In the immediate vicinity it’s worth a moment to linger along the narrow lanes of the Suburra, the church of Santa Pudenziana and its Byzantine mosaic (this is the oldest church in Rome, it dates back to the third century A.D.; the tradition says that Saint Peter might have found shelter there during the Christian persecution), the church of Santa Prassede and obviously the magnificent and imposing Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. The perfect starting point to best enjoy the best of the eternal city!

  • Alessandro was very accommodating. I was running a little late to check in and he waited for my friends and I. He also showed us his favorite bakery and we treated us to a slice of pizza. Alessandro took the time to show us around the apartment and oriented us as to the where we were on the map he provided. The apartment is a bit tight with three adults, but it is possible. There are plenty of cups and kitchen utensils to cook with. The location is great. It is very close to all major attractions and the train station. Alessandro showed us great hospitality and I would definitely stay again.

    Amy2015-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Alessandro's place was amazing. We arrived on new year's eve and everything went smoothly. The appartment was exactly as the picutres show. A cozy, private and quite place to relax during a city trip. Alessandro helped us with all the questions from a taxi ride form the airport to a winetasting! A perfect host for a wunderfull stay in Rome.

  • We really enjoyed staying at Alessandro's place. It is centrally located, very cute, and has everything we needed for our stay in Rome. Alessandro himself was very nice, punctual in meeting us, and even provided a map for us. We would highly recommend this little flat to anyone looking for a place in Rome!

  • Alessandro was very helpful with helping us get settled in the apartment when we arrived and arranging a taxi ride for our return to the airport. The apartment is quite small but pleasant, well maintained and feels safe. It is perfectly located for visiting major historical sites on foot and is very close to metro Cavour. Altogether we are happy to recommend Alessandro and his apartment to future guests.

  • Fantastic location. Easily accessible from the train station. Close to excellent restaurants. The apartment was perfect. We already plan a return trip where we will rent for several weeks. This was an exceptional stay in Roma. Thank you Alessandro.

  • We had a fantastic stay in Rome, at the Colosseum flat. The location is amazing, in a very nice and quiet street in the great Monti area (full of restaurants, bars, designers shops..etc). The flat is compact but has everything that one can need and it is very cosy and clean. Alessandro, the host, is very very nice and always here to help you and guide you. We higly recommend this flat and the host. Hope to come back soon.

  • This was a great place to stay in Rome. It is tiny, but my sister, mother, and I were comfortable. The room is very clean and tidy and, best of all, air conditioned. The apartment is in a great location and an easy walk from the Termini station and to almost all of the historic sites. There is a small kitchen, although it would be very difficult to cook meals there. Right across the street is a fantastic restaurant - The Drunk Cow - and there are many cute little shops lining the road. Alessandro was very nice and provided us with a map and advice. I would definitely stay here again on a return visit to Rome.

Erasmus, our host, was awesomely helpful with restaurant recomendations and getting us to the airport. Listing description is accurate. We will stay here again when in Rome. Thanks Erasmus.

  • Erasmo was the absolute perfect host! He ran into us on the main street and helped us with our luggage and then spent some time explaining how things worked in the apartment as well as some suggestions for food and activities in the area. He was always responsive via text and very helpful. He is the ideal Airbnb host and I only hope I get to meet him again in the future.

  • The place is great with all equipments are well prepare in advance. Erasmo is very nice and he picked us up from station and showed us around the apartment with nice restaurants and bars, he also introduced us about the way for sightseeing. Also there is a bus no.71 so that we can easy to get to Rome termini station and city centre (e.g. spagna square and Pantheon). We enjoyed it so much and really have a great time in Rome.

    Quin2015-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Tony and I enjoyed our Roman Holiday, thanks to the excellent accommodation of this historic apartment near Termini but most of all, because of Erasmo. He went beyond our expectations with his personal approach, recommendations and availability for questions. Highly recommended!

    Cynthia2016-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • I can't thank Erasmo enough for the fantastic experience we had in Rome. He was able to assist us and really made the stay excellent. We were a bit later then we expected and he waited for us and even found a parking place directly in front of the building. The place was very well-equipped and clean. He took time to welcome us by going for a short walk through the neighborhood, showing the local spots to enjoy, as well as navigation directions. He also gave us some great advise on visiting the forum and Colosseum that saved us a lot of time.

  • Thanks to Gabriele for a nice stay. Manzoni is a quiet neighborhood, but convenient to most of Rome's sights. Gabriele got into town and said hello, good to see him. Internet had problems, but a good stay.

  • Gabriele is the perfect host, he has a manual that gives you all the information that you would ever need, from places to eat, places to see and do. The apartment is on the perfect location close to the Colosseum and all the attractions. The apartment is well equipped, it has everything that you would ever need. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Thoeun2014-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay. The apt is very cozy and clean. Gabriele thought about everything and left thorough instructions about neighbourhood, it was like a real-life quest - to find places which she mentioned on manual. Would definitely advice to stay here.

    Denis2014-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • A very practical place when staying in Rome. Very close to subway and tram station, supermarkets are a couple of blocks away and small grocery stores are nearby which open til late. Check-in with Gabriele was easy and he was very responsive during our stay. The apartment is clean and well equipped, the bathroom is a bit small though. Definitely recommended.

    Sandy and Pablo2014-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a nice area, quite central to the Colloseum - it was a 15 minute walk for us to get there. It is fairly basic but perfectly acceptable and who is really going to be spending time in the apartment anyhow!? A great touch was the portable wifi that allowed us to roam the city and still have Internet access. This was much appreciated! Also appreciated were the breakfast tokens. Very handy when funds are low at the end of a holiday. The only difficulty we had was parking our car. Tip: don't bring a car to Rome. It is crazy! We found a quiet street about 500 meters from the apartment and left our car there (taking a chance with out paying although it will cost about 6 Euros a day to be perfectly legal). Rather just use public transport and leave the hire car for sights outside of the city. One last negative is that the street noise could be quite loud at times - when a large truck or ambulance comes past.

  • Gabriele gave us instructions that were very easy to follow and made contact with me a few days beforehand to see if I needed any recommendations or advice when staying in Rome which we appreciated. The keys were left in a combination lock which is great as we could check-in in our own time.

  • A brilliant solution for late night flight arrivals or early departures. Perfect for our needs. Massimo communicated with use prior to our arrival and check-in to ensure a perfectly timed airport pick up and check-in to his very comfortable apartment. Massimo is a really friendly, helpful and supporting host who make our visit to Rome go perfectly, even advising us on early morning ground transportation into Rome. Massimo is one of the best hosts I've experienced in my experience with AirBnB so far. Thank you so much Massimo, your the best.

  • Great place and great location. Federico couldn't have been any more helpful. Great place to stay in Rome.

    Andrew2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved the apartment, it's a great location and provided everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was clean, spacious and well decorated. Mrs Rada the housekeeper met us at the apartment and gave us the keys and suggested a supermarket and restaurant nearby and showed us how to get there, she didn't speak English but we didn't find this to be a problem at all. Really great little apartment and fantastic value.

    Susanna2014-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Federico's place is great for a short stay in Rome. The location is perfect, it's literally a 5 minutes walk from the Colosseo. We didn't meet him in person but was very kind and always replied very quick to our emails.

    Ferran2015-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Apartment was nicely located and within walking distance to the main attractions in Roma. The apartment is as described and it is cozy cleans, and comfortable. Frederico is a great host.

    Val2015-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely clean studio, very conveniently situated within a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and the Colosseo metro station. We felt that although it is specified that there is no kitchen, it would have been a good idea to provide a couple of plates, especially as there was a microwave. It was a mystery to us how we were meant to use it without any plates, so we did't. More suitable for shorter stays, in my opinion.

    Elena2015-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Responds quickly, very helpful and apartment was in a great location and suited all our needs!

    isobel2015-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Apartment exactly as described...very clean and you can't beat the location, 5 minute walk from the Colosseum! Didn't meet Federico in person but he is very responsive on the phone/emails. His helper (don't remember her name) let us in, showed us around, and gave us some suggestions on where to eat, etc. 100% would stay here again. Other reviewers mention the water from the shower going every...if you're not careful, yes, water will get all over the floor but if you just make sure the curtain is on the inside of the shower stall, you'll have no problems.

  • Franco accomodate us at very short notice due to some last minute change of plans when we arrived in Rome. The location is great for exploring the beautiful city. There are so many historical sites, bars and restaurants within a short walk of the apartment. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean and perfect for a small group/family. Would definitely stay again if we're ever to visit Rome! Thank you!!

  • Very friendly host, always got back to me very quickly. Nice flat, great location. Wonderful experience in Rome!

    Marijke2015-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had, for the most part, a very positive experience and enjoyed staying in Franco's flat. It was an easy 10 minute walk from the Termini train station and very well located for walking to most things you'd want to see in the old city, and just a block away from the metro to get to those things like the Vatican which are further away. Franco as well as his city manager were easy to communicate with and provided timely response to our inquiries which helped with our travel coordination. Our train was delayed two hours getting into Rome, and they were very accommodating of our schedule change. The flat is easy to get to up just one flight of stairs, nicely furnished, the sofa beds were reasonably comfortable (either that or we were thoroughly exhausted every night!), and the AC did a nice job keeping us cool in contrast to the searing August heat and humidity outside. Unfortunately, we were perpetually frustrated with the Internet access. It seems that only a limited number of devices were able to share the IP at any given time. So although I might be surfing the Internet, if my wife or one of my boys were to turn on their device, there was always a good chance that I'd get kicked off - or vice versa. On the other hand, that same lack of communal access forced us to put the devices down and do more of what we came to do - explore Rome! The other challenge was the fact that there is an adjoining flat which shares a wall which is made of glass for the top 2-3 feet. It's high enough up that privacy didn't seem like it was much of an issue (you'd really have to want to get up on a chair or something to peer over). However, occasionally our neighbors would come back late or leave earlier than we were ready to get up, and the light from their unit along with the ambient noise (talking, kitchen stuff, etc) would easily filter through which was a little annoying. I should also note that the same router that we were using for Internet access was actually located in that adjoining flat and I presume also being used by our neighbors. All in all though, it was a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

    John2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • The location is closer to Republic metro than Trevi fountain with Trevi fountain a good 15-20 minutes walk away. It is none the less a great location allowing a quick getaway to all the sights of Rome. Another plus is the proximity to Monti which has some fabulous eating places. The apartment itself is comfortable though the rooms facing the road can be a bit noisy.

    Suraj2015-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was very well located, and the host was extremely communicative both on arrival and departure. We were close to all the main sites, and the had everything we needed at the apartment. There was also and amazing ice cream shop just outside the front door. The layout of the apartment wasn't normal but it worked fine as we were one big family staying. its a really interesting space, and they have made the most of it for sure.

  • The apartment is as described in the write up; we found it to be very comfortable for our 4 night stay in Rome. The apartment is well located, 2 minutes to the nearest Metro Station and walkable distance to the main station for regional and long distance trains. Also within walking distance of some of the main attractions such as the Colosseum and the Pantheon as well a good range of restaurant and bars and a super market to stock on suppliers. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter's apartment, we had a very good stay there during our visit to Rome.

  • My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Our host was very helpful and friendly. The location of the apartment couldn't have been more convenient--just steps from the railway station, shops and supermarket. Very central to tourist areas as well, some walking distance and others by metro (just around the corner). Also, it was a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend!

The location is fantastic short walking distance to the colosseum and metro and we loved the view from the balcony! We will be definitely recommending it to family and friends.

  • Our stay at Alberto & Marialetizia's apartment was wonderful. The apartment was very easy to find. It was right by the Colosseum, very nice location. Easy to get to the subway. The neighborhood was so quiet, so we got the best sleep of our whole time in Italy. The apartment was very clean and modern. There were snacks and wine waiting for us upon our arrival, Alberto was a very welcoming host. He even arranged a taxi to the airport for us, they picked us up right at the door! Will definitely stay again next time we come to Rome. Thank you again Alberto and Marialetizia!

    Jeanna2014-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • WONDERFUL STAY! The place was in a perfect location, truly steps from the Colosseum in a hip, young part of Rome. Alberto gave us a warm welcome and treated the room a hot with a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us. The room is updated with a fresh feel. He was quick to offer to arrange airport taxis for us and provided maps and guides for the city. Also, an alarm system was on the door, which provided an extra feeling of safety, although it wasn't a necessity. Will stay here again if ever in Rome.

    Noël2015-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • ROOM WITH A VIEW was the perfect place to stay in Rome! Alberto was a fantastic host. He was very accessible before and during our stay. Check-in was a very smooth and helpful process, and he arranged a Taxi for our departure day. The apartment is beautifully designed, extremely clean and very functional. It was like staying in a hotel room. The outdoor patio space is quiet and very relaxing. The location cannot be beat - literally steps from the Colosseum. Our favorite part was the Monti neighborhood - filled with cool shops, authentic restaurants and tons of personality. We loved our stay and cannot wait to return to Alberto's flat!

    Sara 2015-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect studio in Monti, so close to Ancient Rome and many other sites. Tons of restaurants and shops close by, but a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Alberto was so accommodating and made us feel completely safe and at home. Would definitely recommend this to any individuals or couples going to Rome it was perfect place and it even had a beautiful terrace overlooking the city.

  • The apartment was perfect and in a great location. Highly recommended

    Jason2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Alberto and Marialetizia were fantastic hosts and very welcoming. Alberto helped with bags, ordered us a taxi to the airport, and was a wealth of knowledge about the area. When we arrived, the studio was stocked with a lovely snack and coffee, fresh linens, and all sorts of maps and info about the area. The studio is spacious, with a terrace to enjoy the view and a modern bathroom. The bed and sofa are super comfortable and there is plenty of storage space so you can unpack your things and really feel at home. The location is just perfect, as you are close by many attractions, markets, shopping, and restaurants, but it's still quiet on the street and has a residential feel. It was nice to enjoy a quiet evening there after a long day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again!

  • We had a great stay at Gianluca and Flavia's place. Flavia was waiting at the door to the apartment courtyard when our taxi pulled up. She was very punctual, helpful and friendly. The apartment worked well for the 3 days we stayed in Rome. Comfortable, cozy space. It is as small as it appears in the pictures, but the real value here is the location. You are a less than minute walk from central Rome, next door to a great pastry shop and a few doors down from cool shopping. The only snafu we had was with the wireless internet in the room dropping us fairly quickly, especially in the evening. This may have been an issue with too many people in nearby houses and cafes occupying bandwidth. The internet is not password-protected, so this may have not happened if it was. All in all, we had a great stay here and would recommend it to anyone needing a small affordable place to stay in Rome.

    Ryan2015-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is AWESOME! It is in the best location of Rome, right next to an awesome pasticceria, salumeria, and lots of cute clothing stores. It is also around the corner from Campo De Fiori. We walked to the Spanish steps from here and generally just loved this neighborhood! The apartment is very clean with a very comfortable bed. Perfect for a couple. Gianluca was very responsive by email and lovely to arrange this with! I definitely recommend this place. We did not want to leave!

    Lindsey2013-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Gianluca was very helpful when we arrived. The main advantage of this place is the location, as well as the blazing fast WiFi (!). However, we had to turn the AC on full blast to get rid of the damp, humid feeling in the apartment and it was really unpleasant to be there in a dark, damp place. Overall, it's tiny and having to climb the steps up to the bed was not enjoyable. I love the area and the convenience but this place is really only for the person who doesn't need to spend any time there other than a quick shower (hot water is Iffy) and sleep. I wouldn't return here. We were disappointed.

    Susan2016-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really amazing location and you get a real sense of staying like the locals. What a cool area. Communicating and getting to the property was also effortless. In terms of the property itself it was pretty accurate with the photos, bare in mind the room is quite spacious considering the price/ location (Rome). Would have liked the bathroom to be a little bigger (especially the showers). What i also loved was the courtyard area outside the property. All in all, a nice experience and decent value. Loved the location!

    Tom2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is in an amazing location, right in the centre of Rome which enables you to walk to most of the sites. Gianluca was helpful and promt with check in which was convenient. Photos are deceiving though as I thought it looked like two rooms when in fact it was only one. Also if you have the hob on whilst other electrical applicances are switched on there is often a power cut. Fortunately, Gianluca has clearly had this problem before and has instructions which enable you to reset the power. Despite this had a lovely stay in the apartment and it has everything you need.

    Sarah2014-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great location at a great price. Definitely a small space but suited my needs fine as a single traveler staying for only 3 nights.

    Jordan2015-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was neat, clean and quiet. We found the location to be great for our stay. Gianluca provided great info on nearby restaurants, etc. Only drawback was running out of hot water for showers

  • Svevo is an excellent host, he communicates well and was very welcoming! The flat is in a great location and svevo provided some excellent tips for places to eat! We very much enjoyed our time there!

  • Fantastic place and location! Wonderful ride from the airport arranged.

    melissa2017-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this beautiful apartment couldn't be more perfect. The Pantheon is literally steps from the door, and the rest of Rome is easily walkable. It is right on the piazza, and even thought there are crowds, the noise level is not disturbing. The breakfast is also a nice touch. Highly recommend this place!

  • We had a wonderful stay at Rotonda Pantheon! Everything met our exact expectations, including the beautiful, cozy room, the perfect location in the center of Rome, in walking distance from almost any site, and Mirko's warm hospitality. We were also very satisfied from the pick-up service, which, thanks to the wonderful driver Gabriel, was very efficient in taking us to and from the airport. Many thanks for a great vacation!

  • We had a fantastic time staying here. Mirko arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. Mirko was very responsive especially when we were setting up the driver. Made everything very easy. The room was clean and charming. Unbeatable location. The view from the room is excellent. Breakfast at the cafe across the piazza was also a great touch. We'd love to come back and stay!

The flat is on the second floor of a two – floor building built in the early 1900.The peculiarity of the structure is that the ceiling of it is made of bricks held by railway beams. The buildings of this area were built for the railway workers. The flat is composed of a dining room with an open kitchen with all devices (dishwasher, oven, washing and drier machine, refrigerator) and a living room area with a comfortable sofa-bed and tv. In the bedroom there is a king size bed and a comfortable wardrobe. There is a nice and useful bathroom with shower. The flat includes air conditioning and wifi connection.
Pigneto is a traditional neighborhood of Rome, built between the late nineteenth century and the first thirty years of the 20th century near PortaMaggiore. A place full of relationships and humanity , chosen as the setting for some of the most important films of neo-realism . It ’s loved by artists, architects, young people and the world of cinema . Walking today in the streets of Pigneto you can be a witness of Roman history carved in the shapes of the city; but you can also see the new urban dynamics that make Pigneto a point of view of the contemporary society. Pigneto is today a true urban island, a small city inside a city with an individual architectural style, isolated houses and narrow streets of yesteryear, within a multicolored society.
  • Airbnb is nice because we can made so many friends all around the world!! Just like this time, we ran into a charming and friendly guy ;) lol. This apartment is fabulous!!!! Surely 5 star feedback!!! We stayed in Rome for two nights, Angelo is a nice host, he helped us to carry the heavy suitcase upstairs to the apartment, and he prepared everything we need in advance. The map, the water and some food;) The apartment is in a nice area, not that tourism so it's quite romantic! There are lots of pubs and restaurants, we enjoyed it so much!!! The apartment is big, clean and luxurious. Everything is in a good order. Although we just stayed for two nights, we enjoyed it so much!!! No doubt I will recommend to my friends who want to come to Rome!!!! Thank you Angelo!!!

    Bingying2015-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Angelo's apartment is modern and well connected to places of attraction. Rome is best travelled by bus and there are various bus stops near the apartment. Shower is abit small though but it is fine enough for us. Angelo is accommodating and his friend answered our questions promptly. Recommend!

    Wei Sheng2015-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Angelo's friend Michele welcomed us very nicely and showed us everything in the appartment. Me and my 3 Friends were in love with his home at first sight! Everything clean and so nice decorated. During the stay we felt like home and Angelo was caring and told us we could write him anytime if we needed something. This was not necessary because he organised everything so well from the beginning. I really recommend this appartment, even for 4 people! I can't think of anything we missed during this stay. Thank you Angelo!

    Isabelle2014-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • It's a really nice house and Angelo is a really nice guy. I hope to see him again in Italy or in my country.

  • The best airbnb host ever. Picked us up at the station and took us to his fantastic flat in a hip part of Rome. Nothing was too much trouble for Angelo he is molto gentile! Five stars.

  • Well. Angelo is who you think of, when you are considering the perfect host. He made sure, that we would arrive the easiest way at the flat. He welcomed us openheartedly, and gave us a ton of tips, that were well thought trough. (Considering our previous trips to Rome) The flat was clean, well furnished and the ideal place to spend the night after a long day of discovering Rome and eating the perfect pasta at one of Angelo's recommendations. A friendly good-morning-message, asking about our day and if he should make a dinner-reservation for us. As I said. Thinking of everything. Nothing much else to say, except: Make your trip to Rome worthwhile and try to book Angelo's place.

    Daniel2016-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Angelo is the best host I have ever met, extremely helpful and flexible. The apartment was clean and cozy, definitely recommend this!

The apartment is on high floor of a quieter building and windows, always full of son, and is able to let you enjoy a good view. The apartment, restructured in March 2014, is very sunny and equipped all the comforts. Its strategic position, in the central quarter San Giovanni, allows you to move freely and get to the historical center-town very easily. Via Appia Antica, a well-known street with its magnificent archeological site, is at 300 meters away from flat, and the Colosseum place is reachable with some bus stops line 87 but if you like it's really possible to walk along as far as there for 15 minutes. From both of two metro stops line "A" stop "Re di Roma" or "San Giovanni", that it's 10 minutes on foot, it takes you about 5 minutes to reach by subway directly to the central city stops like Piazza di Spagna, Vatican City etc. For whoever travels with car, there are parking place and box along the road just next to my flat. In this flat I can "speak" also Italian, Spanish, Catalan, French, American and British Sign Language (LIS, LSE, LSC, LSF, ASL, BSL).
Proprietor's useful suggestions: historical quarter San Giovanni is very animated. A few distance from there there are restaurants bars pastry shops grocery stores, and for whoever loves the shopping Via Appia Nuova is at disposal. A wonderful archeological park on Via Appia Antica lasts 300 meters. Not far from Park Board, always on Via Appia Antica, n. 42, you can inquire all you want, book guided tours and hire bicycles for magnificent ride inside of that Park or surrounding of Caffarella. In he Regional Park area of Appia Antica, there are many Roman restaurants locals where you excellently have a lunch or dinner and be left bewitched by picturesque places. The Archeobus instead makes you tour through Park.
  • Great place. Big, modern and clean apartment. The only thing that I was not able to figure out was the hot water. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. So we asked Daniele about the hot water, he came over and tested it when we were not home and said it is all working fine. We managed to figure it out in some other way. Daniele is a great host and always reply quickly to any question that you may have. I would recommend his place if you are looking for a great modern place to stay in Rome!

    Amir2015-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was very clean and nice deco. We have everythings we need. Location is good, about 8 mins from metro. Thanks daniele, we have a great time in Roma.

    angela2015-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in Daniele's apartment. The location was great for us...plenty far from the tourist mess, but plenty close to reach all the places we wanted to visit. This is a good spot for people who want to be in a more daily-life part of Rome. The walk to the metro is about 10 minutes and not hard to find. Plus there's really tasty Gelato just on the corner across the street :) (There are busses too, but make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time!) It took us about 30-50 minutes to get to the places we wanted to go by public trans. The apartment itself was equipped with all we needed to cook for ourselves and stay cozy. Both the master bed and the couch bed are comfortable. It's 9 floors up in a big apartment building. You can still hear the street, but it's a city, so you know what you're in for. We had our 15 month old baby with us and she did well without finding too much trouble, so it's baby proofed :) We would definitely recommend this place to a friend or come back ourselves.

    Mary2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment. Large and very well equipped for 4 people. Good location. The hosts were very polite and helpful. Rome is wonderful.

    Fernando2017-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this place, we were greeted by Michele and given a full tour of the apartment. Given a map and pointed out how to maneuver the city public transport. Gave us recommendations on places to eat, was there for any questions. Place is located in a central area. Apartment has everything you could need, including washer. Would recommend this pace time and again if interested in visiting Rome.

  • We ended our stay in Italy at the Sunny Apartment and it ended up being in the same Rome neighborhood as our first apartment about a quarter mile away. We felt very comfortable in the area as we already knew our way around. It is conveniently located a close walk to restaurants, shopping, and public transportation that gets you easily to the historic district of Rome. The apartment was very spacious and nice and we both enjoyed it very much. Silvio met us for Daniele and was nice enough to be late for an appointment so we could drop off our bags. He was very friendly and had lots of good information for us. It was a most enjoyable end to our lovely vacation to Italy.

  • This is perfectly situated in the Trastevere area near so many wonderful eating places all within easy walking distance. We like to walk so it wasn't too far to the Vatican or the Colosseum. The place is very authentic and air conditioned which was a blessing in the heat. It has everything you need. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The only thing that I would say though is that it is very noisy at night until all hours of the early morning as there are lots of bars nearby as it is right in the centre of things. Otherwise it was perfect!

    Fiona2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • We can only recommend this wonderful apartment in the centre of Trastevere. Like many before us we have enjoyed the close proximity to the city centre, the surrounding restaurants and bars of Trastevere, and the charming interior of the apartment. One little minor point is the street noise during nights, but thats easily solved by some earplugs.

  • Let me start off by saying that this was the last part of our trip in Italy, we were in Florence and Venice prior, and this was hands down my favorite location and apartment. We felt so at home here. It was very clean, smelled amazing and everything was very comfortable. We met a few of Fab's friends who showed us the "ropes" in terms of how to use the keys and items throughout the apartment. They were very kind and extremely helpful! The neighborhood is wonderful! However, just note, it is very busy and very lively! The windows do not do a good job blocking out sound a few days a week it is really busy up until the wee hours of the morning. It didn't bother us, we even got to listen in to an opera battle at 2AM in the morning..very cool! There's a market down the street and some great local choices just a few blocks away! Overall, we loved this space, the location the hood and the attentiveness and communication with Fab, he was wonderful!

    Michelle2016-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was perfectly located and pretty cozy, clean and beautiful! The communication with Fab has been smooth and the arrival organized perfectly. We did not meet Fab in person as the arrival has been organized by his sister and her husband, a very nice couple that provided us with all the interesting information about the neighborhood. Highly recommendable, Gloria

Overview: The street is quaint and I love my neighbours. The really busy, trendy area of Monti is about a block away so we are really lucky to be in a quiet spot minutes away from the action. I love all the action, little coffee bars and eateries, boutiques and artisans ... above all great food to be had !
  • A group of 4 of us stayed in the Monti Rome Townhouse Apartment. The apartment was a fantastic location to stay - just a 5-10 min walk to the Coloseum and Forum and there are fantastic restaurants and bars a short walk away. It is a gorgeous apartment and I would highly recommend this apartment to groups or a couple visiting Rome. Isobel

  • Joanna's place is beautiful and very close to the termini, supermarket and restaurants. It is about 5- 10 mins walk from the Colosseum. Joanna spent a great deal of time with us giving us information on Rome and the apartment. I felt very safe within the area. Fabulous and fully recommend this apartment.

    Antoinette2015-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was easy to find and a short walk from the station. Joanna was very welcoming and friendly, she had lots of local area information and maps for us to use and said we could call on her at any point during our stay if we needed anything. We were able to use the courtyard outside which was lovely. The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly nice and modern. The location was absolutely perfect, a very short walk from the coliseum, forum and had great local restaurants, bars, shops etc. We were able to leave our bags for the morning before we left Rome and Joanna made herself available for us to collect them at a time to suit us. A great stay, would recommend to all visiting Rome and would love to visit again! Thank you very much Joanna. Moira and Gemma

  • This flat is a gem! It is a superb location, only minutes walk to the metro, grocery, restaurant, the best gelato, and 10 minute walk to the colosseum and forum. It has a lovely garden attached. We found it clean, tidy and thoughtfully appointed with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The large queen bed and single fold-away fit my family of 3 perfectly. It's been mentioned by others but I must repeat that the street is quiet and the blackout drapes make it easy to have a good sleep. The clean and modern bathroom includes shower gels and large fluffy towels! Other reviewers said the tub is narrow, but I can't complain as I thoroughly enjoyed a refreshing and cooling bath at the end of each day of sightseeing. The kitchenette is stocked with milk, OJ, tea, and condiments. It was relaxing to turn on the AC (which cooled the flat very quickly) and chill-out after a July day. Joanna responded quickly and was very helpful. I highly recommend this flat and I would be delighted to stay here again!

  • A very charming, comfortable haven ( with access to a beautiful courtyard garden) in a great area, close to major attractions, with lots of lovely shops and restaurants as well as beauty around every corner.

  • We were very pleased with our stay at Joanna's apartment. It was clean, well equipped and had a lovely little backyard where we had some of our breakfasts. We loved the neighbourhood and had the chance to test out many of its restaurants and vintage shops. Our favourite restaurant in Monti was Urbana 47 - great food and hip place. Joanna was very helpful with information and practicalities before and during our stay. We can highly recommend her apartment as a great starting point to see Rome.

  • We had a really nice time at the apartment of Valerio. It is well located, charming and warm.

  • My daughter and I just needed a place to stay one more night in Rome after 3 down on the Amalfi Coast. What a great place! It's a duplex with 2 bathrooms in a historic building in a historic part of town. Valerio was not there but his parents, who left next door to the apartment, shouted out the window at us when we arrived. Like in a European movie :) The place was perfect and would have been totally great for a longer stay. And I really do wish we could have stayed longer!

  • Cannot fault the apartment or the location. Monti is a fantastic area to stay in and the apartment is only a short walk from some very cool places to eat and drink. It's also right on top of the Colosseum which is amazing by day and by night. Valerio is a great host and if you have the pleasure of meeting Sergio and his wife during your stay you'll get to experience some genuine Italian hospitality. We intend to be back, so can't recommend the apartment enough really.
