  • Our stay with Rita was perfect. Small, cozy studio on top floor of building, complete with small kitchen, music and TV (didn't need!), wifi and shower. Great bed. Location could not have been better - two blocks from Campo de Fiori and less than a block from Ponte Sisto heading into heart of Trastavere. Rita picked us up at airport and had friend drive us back at about half the price advertised on city taxis. Wish we could have stayed longer!

    Tom2014-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • We cannot rate Rita & her partner highly enough, they picked us up & dropped us off at the airport making our journey quick & easy. The apartment is located perfectly near the river & close to wonderful bars & restaurants to enjoy on an evening. You are a 5min walk to the Piazza Navona & from there we explored everywhere we wanted to in Rome all in a day as our trip was short. We would definitely think of booking with Rita again next time we visit Rome! Thanks, again for your hospitality!

  • Rita was a lovely and informative host. One couldn't have asked for more. For starters the airport transfer service that she provided was excellent, we highly recommend to anyone that is considering utilising the service. Despite having to have kept Rita waiting due to flight delays, we arrived to a smiling and friendly Rita at the arrival gate. The apartment location was ideal packed with every necessity one could think of such food, drinks, maps, towels etc. A homely apartment equipped with everything needed. As per Rita's recommendation there is Punto the gelato store just a few meters from the doorstep of the apartment. On top of that Trastevere is just across the bridge where one is spoiled for food choices. We will definitely stay at Rita's place and recommend it to friends and family. Thank-you Rita for the lovely time in Rome. Tuong & Sam.

  • Rita is such a lovely and accommodating host. No problem communicating with her--she responds quickly. She and Fabio (such nice couple) picked us up at Roma Tiburtina station at a reasonable charge. Along the ride we chatted and they both helped answer our questions; even helpful before we arrived. Upon arrival, there was welcome wine; then showed how to troubleshoot electrical short circuits. There's supply of pastries, coffee, creamer, milk, yoghurt, juice, Nutella for your morning start; and cracker biscuits for snacks. The clean, quiet studio looks out onto a courtyard and the size is just right for a couple. There's fast internet, cable, small kitchenette, closet for your clothes, and washing machine in the bathroom. Although nowhere near any metro, it's walkable to the tram and bus stops; Ponte Sisto (bridge) to cross over to Trastevere is just a few steps outside the building. A mini grocery called "Despar" is just two doors away to your right as you step out the door. The location is central to every walkable landmarks in Rome. Lots of shops and pizza stops around the area; close to Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, St Peter's Sq, and shopping on via dei Corso, even to Prati neighborhood. As they took their vacation on the day we depart, they made arrangements with their nice lady-friend (Norita) to take us to the airport. She didn't disappoint us and she was there on time to pick us up (to avoid the heavy traffic jam). For peace of mind, it is recommended that you use their personable transport service. Thank you, Rita and Fabio, for sharing with us your studio which made for a pleasant stay in Rome. Should we return to Rome I would book with them again.

  • The apartment is in a perfect location. It is small, but perfect for a couple and has everything you need and more. Rita and her husband are lovely and took great care of us. The pick up from the airport was excellent and good value. Would stay here again when next in Rome!

    Mary2014-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Rita and Fabio we great hosts. We had a lovely welcome gift and the well thought through free extras of coffee and breakfast were ideal for our short stay in Rome. The good rate of airport pick up was extremely useful and the apartment had everything we needed - including a washing machine, toiletries, safe and ipod dock! Location wise this is perfect for a short stroll to the Vatican, easy reach to the City tour buses (there is a pick up stop pretty much round the corner) and in great reach of the popular Trastevere area for interesting shops and restaurants. Although the apartment is small it is ideal for 2 people that are keen to stroll around the city and need a good clean and cosy place to rest their tourist bones. Rita and Fabio have a good gem here and I would recommend this to anyone.

  • The location is excellent – very close to Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiore, and the lively Travestere area of Rome. The apartment is very small but very clean and cute and has everything you can imagine. They had flower petals on the bed and chocolates and cookies and all kinds of treats, croissants, wine, tea and coffee, and the refrigerator was stuffed with soft drinks, juices, and a variety of flavored yogurts! They also had a good air conditioner, cable TV with lots of channels, CD player, shampoos, body lotions, towels, extra pillows, iron and ironing board – you name it! Rita was great about corresponding with questions beforehand, if there is anything you need to know, and her husband Fabio will drive you anywhere and pick you up for always a few euros less than the taxis. Fabio is lively, friendly, helpful and just a pleasure!

  • A small but cosy appartment. The loction could't be more central. Very frendly welcome by Rita and Fabio The fridge was filled with food like Yoghurts and bread Very clean Very quite Good bed.

Elegant with a modern touch. This loft has a dining room with a kitchen, a bed room and a bathroom. Quiet and bright space in an elegant building furnished with elevator. The whole apartment is at guests disposal. I'm always available to make my guests stay a special one! Fast replies to any request and helpfulness to fix every little problem that might occur ;-) Very nice area located between Termini train station and the Colosseum, well furnished with public transportation, bars and shops
  • We loved staying at Ana's Colosseum Loft! It was everything we had hoped for! A perfect location: we walked to the Colosseum, the Metro, and even the bus terminal! The loft had so much space and we felt right at home! We hated to leave! Our time in Rome was amazing and we even got pretty close to the Pope during a special Mercy Jubilee Mass. It was wonderful each evening after such busy days to return "home" to our Rome Loft! We will stay there again and already highly recommended it to our friends and family!

    Kimberly2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nice rustic place with great location in central Rome close to Termini.

    Andreas2016-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Flat was beautiful and perfect for me and my girlfriend only passing through for one night. The only issue we had was that there was no air conditioning and in the heat of the summer it was pretty hot in the loft. However, they did provide us with lots of fans which helped. The loft is beautiful and very unique and Ana's son was very diligent about showing us how to get Aron d the city. Thank you again!

    Meghan2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • A great apartment and close to the metro! Her home is exactly as described and clean. Ana was an absolute dream to work with. I would definitely stay again.

    Marina2017-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cool place in a beautiful building! The suite had lots of character and had a nice layout. Ana gave us tons of great recommendations for places to eat. Ana's son checked us in and was also very helpful and kind. Definitely recommend staying here!

    Emily2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • I give this 5 stars! What a great apartment! So much character that reflects Rome. It is located very close to the Metro (Vittorio Emanuelle), and very close to main station (Roma Termini). The host and son were very communicative as I checked in, during my stay, and as I checked out. The neighbor Ehsan checked me in. I was late - but not a problem with them. The son of Ana even gave me suggestions on great places to eat in the area, and was helpful in giving suggestions on how to get a very early morning ride (around 3:30 am) to Fiumicino Airport. This place is just perfect, and I would come back to this place when I return to Rome.

    Franchino2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place !! 10 minutes from colliseo, 3 minutes from metro. Ana was kind and thoughful during all along. Appartement is lovely. We couldn't have been happier for our first reservation on Airbnb !!

    Martial2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location. We met with Ana's son who was kind and showed us all the good spots nearby for food and sightseeing. The place was a bit hot the first night due to the heat wave, but we easily adjusted for the other nights. Would definitely recommend.

  • This loft is in perfect condition with all the amenities and Claudio is a wonderful host! I stayed here with 3 of my friends and it was just the right amount of space. The location is great, probably a 20 minute walk from the colosseum, with lots of fun restaurants/bars nearby as well. I recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome!

    Wendy2013-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Claudio's apartment for four nights to explore Rome and found it absolutely wonderful! Perfect location to seeing all the sights in Rome. Its about a 20min walk to the Colleseum and a 2min walk to the metro for everything else. We even found free car parking right outside the house. The apartment is modern, well equipped and super clean. Claudio has great communication so check in and out was really easy. We found the internet wasn't slow when you restart the modem and it was handy being able to take it out with you. Would definitely recommend staying here!

    Shannon 2014-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Claudio waited for us to arrive and gave us as much time as we needed to answer questions. This apartment is affordable and in a quiet part of town that is a welcomed break from the crowds. It's clean, comfortable and next to a wonderful cafe. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We highly recommend!

    Kim2014-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Claudio's loft is lovely! I-wish-I-lived-in-a-place-like-this-lovely, in fact. Very clean, you get all you could possibly need and it's very easy to get there. It's maybe 2 minutes from Re Di Roma station which is great to get around the city. The sights are within walking distance though - and that's what we did. I recommend it! You get places to eat, gelaterias and supermarkets right next to the loft. The building is great, too! We loved the elevator (although there's no need to use it for Claudio's flat). Claudio's a fantastic host, punctual and helpful; it was a real pleasure to meet him :) I highly recommend the place, it's made our stay in Rome a real treat!

    Gosia2015-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Claudio was very helpful and very pleasant to communicate with and he gives quick responses so you get the feeling you can trust him and you can! His studio is fully equipped and superbly furnished. He is very spontaneous. Everything is well cared for and believe me this is better than an expensive hotel room and all the sights are pretty close. Excellent location and highly recommended and certainly the rental price is very affordable. Everything you need is there. Large plume and stay as you are, it was fantastic! Thank you for all your good care and good luck with this venture providing holiday apartments. Warmest rgds from the Dutch ladies Patricia & Mom Nel, xxx xxx Was very nice to meet you and hope to see you again, you never know. We stayed here begin of July 2013

  • Claudio's apartment was great! Very convenient to the Re di Roma subway stop, very clean and nicely decorated! It was also very quiet and peaceful to sleep. The Internet is not very reliable (as noted by the host) but since we were on vacation this was not an issue for us. The grocery store was also right across the street, which was really nice because we could cook dinner (there is a stove and microwave). Would recommend!

  • I enjoyed staying in this flat. It was perfect for two people. The location was walking distance from the metro and a market across the street. It was very clean and exactly like it is pictured. Claudio was very nice and easy to communicate with. I recommend staying here.

Central, elegant open space overlooking a courtyard of a 16th century patrician building. The COLOSSEUM, PIAZZA NAVONA, THE PANTHEON, PIAZZA DI SPAGNA, TREVI, VATICAN, AND TRASTEVERE are easily reachable on foot. It is near renown restaurants, shops, bars, and Campo de' Fiori. It has very high ceilings with frescoes and ceiling coffers. The open space has a microwave oven with which you can cook breakfast or a quick snack, and a fridge. Cleaning fees (Euro 30) will be paid upon check-in.
Sleeping in the DELUXE room is a unique experience. You will have the opportunity to stay in an historical, patrician building of the early 16th century in the heart of Rome that has frescoes and 19-feet-high ceilings with ceiling coffers. You can also enjoy overlooking the beautiful inner courtyard from your balcony.
Campo de' Fiori is a central neighborhood in the heart of Rome. From the building, you can go on foot to the main Roman monuments, shopping streets, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and markets without taking a bus or the metro. Trastevere is 2 minutes' walk away; just cross Ponte Sisto to reach it. Although the apartment is centrally located, it is in a quiet square, anyway. Besides the shops, nearby, there are also the bus stop and several taxi stands. It is easy to reach both the Termini and the Trastevere stations.
  • Adriana was a fantastic host, helping sort out our transfers and providing a very handy list of all the best local restaurants and bars. The apartment is in a perfect location, great for walking to all the major tourist sites, and we just had the most amazing time ever! Would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone!

    Jessica2016-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Adriana was great and what a location. Walking distance to everything. If we ever go back to Rome we know where to stay.

    Chris2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I wanted to stay centrally and near Campo Fiori yet quiet and Adriana's enormous semi studio flat had all these ingredients including walking distance to all major attractions. The airbnb images of the baroque style apartment are accurate and give you a wonderful sense of opulence. We looked forward to coming back to it in the evening. WiFi a little hit and miss and good only for emails etc.. but we got the hang of it after a while.

    Peter2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • First off, Adriana is great--she was there to meet us when we arrived and also when we left, arranging us a taxi for departure as well. She went over information about the apartment and the internet, rules etc. She gave many recommendations as well. She had prosecco for us for our honeymoon as well as little snacks in the room. The room is amazing, so beautiful and the location is awesome. Everything about this place is great. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

    Melissa and David2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This place was absolutely amazing. The property is stunning and so centrally located. Adriana was a fantastic host. Her helpful recommendations and this accommodation made our 3 nights in Rome a treat.

    Jeevan2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great location, and sleeping in a building of history. This is where you breathe Rome. Only thing is that the bed is somewhat short if you are a tall Dutch guy like me.

    Olaf2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is the ideal place to stay in Rome. Perfectly located to walk to sights, enjoy great restaurants and get a sense of normal life in Rome. Everything you need is literally steps away. The apartment is just lovely and Adriana was a delightful host. We look forward to coming back again!

    Joan2017-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • This studio space was really lovely and stylish. The high ceilings are really great. :) Overall, we enjoyed our stay because she was very responsive and the studio had a great location - quick access to major sites and lots of great restaurants in the area. The only thing I would note is that I have pretty bad dust allergies and found the space to be a bit dusty. However, this was pretty common at all the airbnbs we stayed in for Italy.

Accogliente, piccola, pulita, bellissima! a pochi passi dal Colosseo e dai principali monumenti. Collocata in una bellissima via piena di negozi, cafè, ristoranti. Appena restaurata con filosofia del recupero di materiali antichi.
The house is very quiet, with private entrance, large veranda, overlooking the inner courtyard of the building. Ground Floor. It is composed of a living area with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, typical Roman pots, our recipes and our cookbooks available! Around the window, the grottesche style Domus Aurea of Nerone: decorative elements discovered in 1480 and immediately popular among the painters of the time. A sleeping area with TV and sofa-bed of the highest quality, which can be assembled as a double bed or two single beds. I would like to be clear on the bed: it is a sofa bed. The sleeping area is very very small, but in return you can enjoy the view of the bricks and original ceilings. The choice is yours! Bathroom with large shower, yellow marble shower hand-carved. Statuary Carrara marble sink, reused, it was a seventeenth-century fountain. The area above the stairs is an exhibition area, a visual enjoyment but not accessible. The veranda is decorated with two huge pots of Piranesi in terracotta and a fountain with Triton, to emphasize the fine line between present and eternal journey in this city than in any other breathe. ---------------- Please note that check ins after 11 pm are not possible for me. If you wish, there is a Company of professionals check in working overnight for a price of 50 € to pay them directly, that I can call for you. On holidays the price is higher. If you need further information do not hesitate. Thank you ------------------- NEW: PLEASE GIVE A LOOK TO MY NEW LISTING COLOSSEUM DREAM NEST! THE HOUSES ARE CONFINING !!
Our house is located in a big street where you can find all shops, cafè or useful places you'll need. You can just walk to main monuments. For longer journeys, bus and metro stop is just around the corner. Our district is currently considered the most interesting regarding social life, events, new restaurants and shopping. It is a historic district of Rome, where ancient crafts are living with new and latest trends.
  • Lucia was absolutely fantastic. Although she was unable to meet with us at the apartment, she sent one of her lovely friends to meet us. Both Lucia and Giulia were professional and kind and made sure we were comfortable with the space as well as the location. They made sure all of our needs were met. The apartment exceeded all of our expectations. It was so close to the Colosseum as well as other sights. It was also very close to the Metro and was incredibly safe. Overall, this is a lovely home and is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Rome.

    Nadia2016-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia was so gracious. She met us at the apartment and gave us maps, restaurants to eat and directions to all the public transportation. The location is in a cute town, safe and a lot of restaurants near by ( a gelato stand next door). There is a sofa bed which I have to say it was quite comfortable for a sofa bed. My husband and I preferred private transportation and Lucia set us up with private drivers, which made our trip easy for us. The place is so cute and plenty of room. Perfect! thank you Lucia for a great and easy time in Rome

    Jean2016-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lucia was fantastic in contacting us prior to our arrival and answering any questions that we had during our stay and the apartment was wonderful. The description and photos provided are very accurate. It is a cosy little apartment which was perfect for our stay the location right in the centre of the action and only a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and other attractions was fantastic. We intend to return to Rome at sometime in the future and would be happy to stay in Lucia's apartment again a very professional and welcoming experience.

  • Lucia was a great host. We arrived late and her husband met us as the apartment, gave us a map and made us feel welcome. Lucia's apartment was wonderful, a real dream casa. We absolutely loved exploring Rome from here- turning out of the apartment to see the colosseum was amazing. The apartment is perfect. Thanks, Lucia!

    Daniel2016-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location close to the coliseum and central to shops and public transportation. Lucia was warm and welcoming and went out of her way to help with arranging transportation from the airport for a late check in and was there to greet us despite the late hour and having two children to attend to. She was always available to answer questions. The place is great.

  • Lucia was the perfect host! She was totally flexible and met us at her beautiful apartment with only an hour warning from us of the time. She was warm and welcoming; gave us great advice about the neighborhood and told us to call with any questions during our stay. Perfect!!

The apartment is equipped with all modern conveniences, including satellite TV, internet, stereo, CD/DVD, independent heating, safe, washing machine, hairdryer, etc. This bright apartment is fitted with double-glazed windows, so it's very quiet. • Rita was incredibly generous with welcoming gifts and food in the fridge. The apartment, although up a lot of stairs, was well worth it! Not furnished by IKEA, like so many places are - this was lovely and inviting, and made us feel very much at home. And what a perfect location! Very close to Campo de' Fiori, our favorite place in Rome, and equally close to the Santa Maria area of Trastevere just across the river where there are great restaurants and lots of nightlife. It's also walking distance to all the major sites in Rome. Your cab can take you within half a block of this place - it's restricted to pedestrians, which makes it much quieter than almost anywhere else in Rome. Grocery store three doors down. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

  • This was a wonderful experience all around! Rita was the perfect host welcoming us to Italy and Roma specifically. The home was beautiful and well maintained and she was so hospitable. A bottle of wine and various baked goods for breakfast and snacks as well as an assortment of teas and cafe made us feel right at home. The location couldn't be more perfect! Proximity to Campo di Fiore market and area restaurants was within a minute walk and we were able to walk to all of the major sites we wanted to see within 15-20 minutes. Perfect perfect perfect!

  • This place is worth every kind word and star it has received! The best hosts I have ever had on Air BnB. They go out of their way for you. The place is so well located and extremely comfortable on top of all that!

  • Everything was perfect, this was a truly memorable trip and the apartment was brilliantly located. Great value for money, apartment was well equipped and lots of attention to detail. We couldn't have had a more warm welcome, thanks x

  • Although we didn't meet Rita we were warmly welcomed by Norita who showed us all the apartment had to offer - breakfast provisions, wine , guides to Rome ,beautiful decor and a great position in the heart of Rome

    Sue2014-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. But the best part was the LOCATION! Campo Dei Fiori is incredibly close and Trastevere is just across the river, which is only one block away! Hope to stay here again as a launch pad to enjoy the great city of Rome.

    Jon2016-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Rita was the perfect AirBnB host. She welcomed us into her apartment, offered us a complimentary bottle of wine, showed us around the apartment, and gave us complimentary breakfast. The apartment was even more beautiful than the photos. The neighborhood was absolutely perfect, next to picturesque Ponto Sisto over the Tiber and close to our favorite gelato, Punto Gelato. While the incoop grocery store was just a few doors down, we preferred Punto Simply a few blocks away, close to our favorite Roman pizza joint, Pizza Florida. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome.

    Timmy2016-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • We were met at the airport by Rita's husband and driven to the apartment. We were given a very helpful guide to the amenities and to the district. The apartment was stocked with all basic food needs, and there is an excellent supermarket 3 doors down the street. The apartment is in an amazing location, very close to the beautiful Campo di Fiori and a stones throw from the Trastevere area. There are hundreds of outstanding restaurants within a few minutes walk The sites of Rome are also close (less than 15-20min walk to most)

The apartment is located in the center of Rome, it is located in a very quiet and peaceful residential area, precisely in the luxury area of the ex-industrial factory "Pantanella." this amazing industrial structure is very close to the very important monuments like the Basilica of San Giovanni, the Basilica of Sant Maria Maggiore, and the Colosseum is at 1.5km. In the area of the apartment there are some many interesting points to visit, monuments, vintage market, nightlife and local food market.
The apartment is located in the center of Rome, just 30 meters from "Porta Maggiore" the main entrance door of ancient Rome. the apartment is located in a very quiet and peaceful, specifically in the upmarket residential area of the former pasta factory "Pantanella." • Luca was such a great host! He was waiting in front of the building, showing me everything I needed to know. He filled the fridge with coke and water, bought a perfect map and explained the hole city for me. That was very, very welcome! The room was great too, clean, tidy and quiet. Just like in the pictures and the description! Everything was very well done and uncomplicated. Thanks a lot, Luca! :)

    Klaus2015-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED Luca's apartment in Rome. He is such a knowledgable, helpful, and friendly host! He was ready to greet us outside the apartment, showed us everything inside, and sat with us for awhile to go over all the sights, routes, and other traveler tips. He even called a restaurant to make reservations for us! As far as the apartment, it is EXACTLY as pictured/advertised. It's ridiculously clean, equipped with all your needs (including water, beer, and Coca Cola in the fridge), maps, and most importantly, an AC!!! We sighed with relief after spending unbearably hot days traveling. The location is not super central to the main tourist attractions because it's in the quiet residential part of Rome, but it's a quick cab ride to any of them. It's also a few minute walk to the bus and train stops, including the main station - Termini. I'd definitely recommend Luca's place to anyone visiting Roma

    Kim2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Luca was really welcoming, despite our taxi not collecting us on time making us nearly an hour delayed, he welcomed us to the apartment with plenty of cold drinks in the fridge! As Pompi was closed Luca kindly went the next day and brought us some tiramisu in the morning so that we didn't miss out. We found that there were a number of good places to eat within walking distance and some great ice cream! We were able to walk to most of our destinations, only needing to get the metro to the Vatican City on the other side of the city. All in all it was a good place for us to start exploring Rome from (especially with Luca's expert guidance on the area, including a map of the city and restaurant recommendations!).

    Michael2016-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Luca is the perfect host. He was so welcoming and spent lots of time with us when we arrived, showing us the best sites, recommending his favourite restaurants (which by the way, is the best meal we've had in the whole of Italy to date). His apartment is beautifully done and has everything you need... And much much more! Nothing was too much trouble and he kindly stayed in contact throughout our stay to answer any of our questions. Thank you for making Rome so special Luca. I have no doubt that we will see you again!!

    Aaron2016-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • I STRONGLY RECOMMEND staying with Luca at Ex Pastificio Pantanella! Luca's place is a quick 20 min walk (~10 min drive) from Roma Termini station. Once settled in, it's a single bus from the nearby bus stop into the heart of Rome where all of the main attractions are. We met Luca standing outside of the apartment complex that we would be staying. Despite being delayed by our train into Rome, Luca patiently waited an additional half hour for us to meet. Luca is exceptionally outgoing, generous with his time and the most excellent of hosts. Upon our arrival, he offered to carry our heaviest luggage up the quick flight of stairs to his place. Inside was nicely decorated, neat, clean and spacious. More importantly, he generously stocked the fridge with cold beverages including cold Italian beer, which was much appreciated after the walk with our heavy luggage in the warm weather! Being on our honeymoon, Luca had a bottle of wine ready on the table for us to celebrate - so generous! Moreover, he took the time to go over the ins and outs of his place, which included accessing the building and personally ensuring that our electronics were connected to the internet. He gave us a complementary map of Rome and pointed out all the best spots both nearby and in the heart of Rome - these spots included the best sights, restaurants and means of transportation. One of the restaurants he recommended even gave us 10% off on the account we were staying with Luca. And Luca's recommended dish there was stellar! In all, our host, Luca, and his lodgings were unparalleled by any other airbnb we used in Italy! Grazie, Luca!

  • We had the best experience in Rome. The apartment was conveniently located near a tram stop that took us into the heart of Rome. The apartment was very cosy and had everything we needed. Luca was fabulous and even provided Italian beer & wine. He spent a great deal of time explaining to us everything we needed to know and answered all of our questions. Looking forward to staying with Luca again.

    Paige2015-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Luca was an extraordinary host and his apartment was beautiful! He was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to help us in any way he could. Great experience! (Also, provided an ice cube tray which sounds silly to be so happy about, but as an American I really missed my ice and was happy to see some after seven hot days without it)

    Emily2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • A really nice, well looked after apartment, located close to bus, trams and underground to get you into central Rome. Luca's hospitality was absolutely first class, firstly he provided water, coke and beer, in addition to the normal tea & coffee. He also spent time going over in detail the places to visit around Rome and provided maps and tour guide books. Luca also recommended an exceptional local restaurant! Top guy. Highly recommend.

  • Great cosy apartment. We came in winter and the unit is not too cold or warm. It is also very close to the Metro, about two minute walking. Love the neighbourhood and the restaurant close by the house. Claudio was also very helpful and provided as much information as he can.

The apartment was clean and and everything was exactly how it was described. Colosseum is about 10min by car but can also we walked. Vatican city is about 20-30min. Would definitly recommend this apartment.

  • I stayed at Claudios appartement with a friend and we really enjoyed it. It was clean, comfy and basically had everything you need to cook something on your own if you wish to do so. It is very close to the metro and just a 15 minute walk away to the Colloseum. He was very friendly and recommended a few places to us to eat and visit. One of them was a place where you could buy tiramisu and it was delicious. Furthermore there are two supermarkets close by. We liked it a lot and would definitely recommend it to future guests.

Little White Loft (39 sq mt) fully renovated with all confort It accommodates up to two people. It is a slightly basement Loft (approx 1 meter) but extremely bright, on a street that has a rare charm of Rome. The little white loft has been completely refurbished in Feb 2016. why should we go there? To know Rome’s creativity, see the city’s young talent and breath the Bohemian atmosphere; to pick a pub, to enjoy vibrant nightlife to have some cheap drinks and good food :Enjoy San Lorenzo
The little white loft has been completely refurbished in February 2016. The architect did the white color the leitmotif of the house. The wrought iron staircase made of Umbria, the brick ceiling is white. the floor is a modern porcelain-colored wood. despite the loft is just one meter below street level is very bright as the street has houses that have no more than 2 floors. the entrance is directly on the road, as well as workshops of artisans (blacksmiths, carpenters, masons) now these workshops are homes. the road offers a rare view of Rome that no longer exists. But now the main question follows: why should we go there? To know Rome’s creativity, see the city’s young talent and breath the Bohemian atmosphere; to pick a pub, enjoy vibrant nightlife to have some cheap drinks and good food in what is Rome’s Left Bank borough. (URL HIDDEN)** read carefully** On friday or saturday night it may happen that you could Hear a little bit crowd from the Jazz club near of the house. Let’s be clear, San Lorenzo has no stunning landmarks, buildings, archaeological ruins or monuments except for the basilica of San Lorenzo – which gives the name to the neighborhood – one of the most famous and important churches of Rome. And why is that in such a beautiful city like Rome you may wonder? First of all because it was built as a residential area for factory and railways workers, second and most important because it was heavily damaged by a WWII bombing. It was the heaviest bombing Rome suffered during WWII. 1,500 people died, 4,000 were injured. Most of the buildings were destroyed. Reconstruction had to be fast and cheap as it was the case all over Italy in the war aftermath. How did it become Rome’s student and young artist district? Easy answer, Rome’s Sapienza University (the third largest in the world, by far the biggest in Europe with its 200,000 students) is nearby, and students especially non Roman ones – have been choosing it for decades as their home. It is also very close to Rome’s main train station, Termini and well connected to the centre of Rome and all spotlight But now the main question follows: why should we go there? To know Rome’s creativity, see the city’s young talent and breath the Bohemian atmosphere; to pick a pub, to have some cheap drinks and good food in what is Rome’s Left Bank borough. between Termini train station, the Verano graveyard, via Tiburtina, and the Scalo Merci, San Lorenzo developed quickly during the last two decades of the 19th century. The building fever that hit Rome after the unification of Italy was characterized by great excitement and little planning. When funding ran out after just a few years, many buildings in the area were left unfinished or completed with no attention to safety and hygiene requirements. This turned San Lorenzo into an area for the city's poorest residents. Just outside the Mura Labicane, ill-reputed and isolated, the neighborhood grew distant from the city and became a separate entity. In 1907, famous educator and physician Maria Montessori defined San Lorenzo as the place where "la gente per bene passa solo dopo morta" ("respectable people pass by only after death"), referring to the cemetery of Verano. During the Second World War, San Lorenzo was severely struck by the very first and most violent bombing of Rome by the Allies. On July 19, 1943 (the same day as Nero's fire), the impoverished and now damaged neighborhood saw the first exodus of its people towards more welcoming and flourishing areas of the city. Rome San LorenzoPost-war reconstruction and new immigration from the south brought some relief, but it was only at the end of the Sixties, with the student movements, that San Lorenzo started a new life. Close by to "La Sapienza," the largest university in Europe, San Lorenzo attracted a student population, and the quarter quickly became the home of free-thinkers, young political activists, and artists of all sorts. Young families fled, and the elderly were left with the younger generation to create the mixed population which today forms the heart of San Lorenzo's unique character. Packed with students, it is newly young-and-trendy, described as the Montmartre of Rome. Arty shops cheap and authentic trattorie, cool pubs and clubs line the narrow streets. If you can overlook the littered streets, cars parked on the sidewalks, and graffiti everywhere, San Lorenzo offers a world of surprises. Shopping in San Lorenzo is a new experience. You won't find any of the mainstream labels that populate shopping venues such as Via del Corso or Cola di Rienzo. Everything has an arty flavor: small ateliers where items are crafted on the spot; original and creative pieces; and best of all, artists excited about their work and willing to spend time explaining how their creations come to life. Just walk around and explore. recently wandered around San Lorenzo, one of Rome’s surprise trendy zones. Nestled behind the ancient Roman wall on Termini’s east side it has grown a reputation as a student haven and an edgy cultural hub. Once a downtrodden worker’s area, the location next to Sapienza University has started an underground youth culture, recently gentrified attracting bright artistic types. The result is a mix of cheap fun and super-fashionable venues to choose from with a rough and ready, anti-touristy vibe. said Rome I started around Via Tiburtina, which offers a host of ultra-chic spots. Historic chocolate factory Said, on Via Tiburtina 135 makes a great first impression with glowing bold letters tucked behind the main street. Going since 1923, this is what Charlie had in mind for his factory. The tiny triumphs of artisan chocolate and deserts on display look almost too good to eat. It’s a multidisciplinary space, with chocolate shop and bistro combined that seem to go on forever. In the sophisticated sectioned dining area they offer contemporary dishes with friendly staff, perfect for a treat with lots of inspiration from their star ingredient: cocoa. My new favourite cocktail is their ‘Grasshopper’ with minty dark chocolate, which I tried with their Aperitivo plate for €12. apartment-bar-san-lorenzo Next I tried Apartment Bar on dei Via Marrucini, 1 close by. Pink neon leads you to this up-and-comer recently to hit the Rome bar scene. It’s like a big living room equipped with 70’s retro jumble décor and faux fireplace with twinkling lights. The owners are progressive hosting eclectic events including live DJ Aperitivo and experimental DJ nights with a little spot to dance. They are cocktail professionals and use their mixology know-how to make really tasty tipples. I’m a fan of their rooftop ‘Paradise Garden’, like an oasis of canopies and tropical plants amid the patchwork of surrounding apartment blocks. BlackMarket San Lorenzo Cocktail Bar If you are on the hunt for new alcoholic inspirations, entering the Black Market San Lorenzo (Via dei Sardi, 50) will feel like stepping through Alice’s looking glass. Managers and staff Francesco, Sabrina and Alessandro envisioned this new venue like a natural evolution of the original Black Market in Monti and turned it into one of Rome’s most interesting mixology scenes. The Black Market is hard to define: art gallery/ music venue / bar and tea room it is designed to be just like “grandma’s living room”, with bossa nova in the background, dim lights, sofas and books. Ristorante-pastificio-san-lorenzo Nearby, Pastificio San Lorenzo on Via degli Ausoni, 7 is an impressive sprawling creative complex. An ex-traditional pasta factory has been transformed into an artistic multi-floor initiative with design workshops, event spaces, photography studios and a chic eatery with cosmopolitan menu. The restaurant reminds me of an elegant old-time dance hall, with a minimalist bar area for Aperitivo (a tasteful plate of novel nibbles and wine for €10) and open dining space. Quality is key here so this place is great for a splurge, with select ingredients meant to rediscover traditional methods in innovative ways. Pifebo! Right around the corner I noticed with glee that the best vintage store chain in Rome have a branch in San Lorenzo on Via dei Volsci 101b. A riot of colour, I trawled the small but stuffed treasure trove for quality unique finds among reams of bags, clothes, shoes and accessories. Piazza dell'immacolata San Lorenzo I followed the inspiring graffiti art and the sound of Djembe drums and merriment to Piazza dell’Immacolata. This is a popular studenty spot to grab a drink in the many surrounding cheap bars and chat on the piazza steps. Nearby, Giufa café/bar on Via Degli Aurunci 38 has the best and most unusual graphic novel selection in Rome, along with a haphazard boho-chic style of chequered floors and mismatching tables. It’s a place you can while away a whole evening. Their hot choc is a favourite, but I’m rather partial to the port while leisurely chatting or catching up on emails. I couldn’t miss a drink at Rome’s book bar, Bar à Book on Via dei Piceni, 23 . This place is definitely under-reviewed. It looks like a converted shabby-chic ex garage just like the ones I saw in Berlin, the homeland of vintage cool. It hosts diverse intimate gigs, DJ sets and workshops. Lined with bookshelves and cosy vintage armchairs and couches it has an inviting relaxed feel, laid-back staff and the prices aren’t bad either. I capped the evening off with a short stroll to Crossover music venue on Via degli Equi, 22 to catch a booming Blues jam session. I first heard about this place when I played here with my own band. It’s got a funky gritty feel that’s perfect for a venue devoted to live music, with bad-ass portraits of classic music legends adorning the walls. They always have something going on, from Rock and Reggae to Blues and more, when their comfy seats are pushed aside for a makeshift dance floor. The atmosphere evokes San Lorenzo’s roots of low prices and alternative creativity. SAN LORENZO’S SPIRIT How did it become Rome’s student and young artist district? Easy answer, Rome’s Sapienza University (the third largest in the world, by far the biggest in Europe with its 200,000 students) is nearby, and students especially non Roman ones – have been choosing it for decades as their home. It is also very close to Rome’s main train station, Termini. But now the main question follows: why should we go there? To know Rome’s creativity, see the city’s young talent and breath the Bohemian atmosphere; to pick a pub, to have some cheap drinks and good food in what is Rome’s Left Bank borough. EAT & DRINK Our favorite place for a drink is Jamrock, Rome’s only Jamaica-inspired pub. You can also have good food there, like curry supplì or fried banana chips. For another kind of drink, chocolate-based, or a snack or some desserts we would definitely recommend you Said. Both these places and those that follow are the consequence of the unavoidable gentrification that the district has been through. Like any other such area in the Western world, after it becomes cool, money follows and cosmopolitan, brand new businesses pop up. So, if you’re looking for a posh restaurant there, Arancia Blu is a good destination, especially if you are vegetarian. If you want a place with a nice design both for a drink and a meal, 00100, is our tip. If you, instead, want to go to a restaurant where a local would eat, Formula 1 is your place. Very cheap and informal pizzeria that fully embodies the spirit of this part of Rome. ARTS & PRODUCTS Let’s finally see the artsy side of San Lorenzo. The borough has many graffiti and street art works. They’re really beneficial in such an ugly area! But there are also interesting, cutting-edge art galleries. We recently enjoyed the architecture and city planning gallery Come Se, which also features a lounge bar. And we would also recommend to hit the creative space ESC atelier, an underground culture centre that also hosts shows. Last but not least a couple of shopping destinations: Pane e Pasta, a jewellery that uses the Tiffany method and Studio60, a fashion workshop run by two Brazilians.

Nearby there is 24h market and great pizzeria Tram stop is just behind the corner, so you can easily get to the Colloseum (line nr 3) and Vatican (line nr 19). Neighbourhood is safe and peaceful. Opposite the apartament is music club, but in the apartament it is not noisy and concerts are only at weekends. It was very close to the train station, which made traveling around Rome very easy. Marco left us a phone for emergencies and thought of little things to make our stay more comfortable - like an umbrella. There is some noise in the street at night, but closing the windows blocks most of it out. Great places to eat nearby. Would recommend this apartment to others in a heartbeat.

  • Amen has a nice and cosy apartment in a really cool neighborhood. At the airport it took forever to get our bags and we were over an hour late. Amen waited for us and made sure we could check in. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We recommend staying with Amen!

    David & Anke2015-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Amen's house was above our expectations. The appartment was really good in terms of facilities, space and location. The neighbourhood was full of shops and groceries, which was an additional benefit. Marco received us from Roma Termini and also provided sufficient information regarding the city and other requirements. In short, it was a perfect house for a couple.

    Gaurang2014-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amen & Marco, the owners of the place, were well organized (map, cell phone for emergencies, guide book, wifi, washing machine) and welcomed us at the time we provided. They gave us a lot of informations on the surrounding areas. The place is just outside the city's historic center, but still very walkable. Recommended place! Thank you!

    Ian2016-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Room is ok, the only problem is there is no Internet.

    Charlotte2014-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed 2 nights at Amen's place but didn't get the chance to meet her in person. We met Marco instead who is very helpful! To make this review easy, we will list everything down in point form: WHAT WE LOVED 1) The communication between host is extremely easy and host is very responsive! 2) All amenities works extremely well and are in good condition. 3) WiFi speed is very good and reliable. 4) Location is very good. It's located very close to Termini and there are convenience stores around the apartment. 5) We were offered lift to the airport on our departure day with a fee of 40 Euros, which saved us abit and least of hassle compared to getting a taxi. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER 1) The first thing that comes to our mind is to have climbed the 5 flights of stairs (apartment is located in 2nd floor). Which is a nightmare for us with our luggages and there are no lifts in the building! 2) We are not sure about this, but we felt pretty 'unsafe' around the neighbourhood as there are alot of homeless and suspicious looking people hanging around the area. OVERALL We really enjoyed our stay throughout and this place is highly recommended!

    Caroline2016-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Alessandro was a fantastic host! He sat down with a map and showed us all of the best places to go upon arrival. The room itself is spacious, clean, safe, and in a great location. The bed was nice and firm. If you're looking for a good home base as you do the tourist thing in Rome, I highly recommend this place! If/when we come back, we're definitely staying here again... if Alessandro will have us!

  • Perfect place for a few days of holidays. In Marys apartment you can find all you need. The apartment is very clean and tidy, there's a compute r if you need to print your boarding pass or look for something. Altought the breakfast is quite large, I couldn't find milk. But that happened to me in other AirBnB of Italy. Anyway, nice room with a privste toilet and very close to the city center. This apartment is a 10/10!

    Estefania2016-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Marys was very helpful and friendly with us. The room was small but enough for us: table, shower, tv, wifi and queen bed. There is a kitchen with breakfast included. The apartment is close to a metro station (just 5 minutes walking and just two stops from Roma central station) and a Tram stop or bus stop, altough we were walking from the apartment to Coliseo and to the city center. For sure I'm going to come back to the same place :)

    Juan2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place with clean rooms and close to the city centre (by bus and even by foot). Marys is very helpful. You can ask her a lot and she reacts very quickly. I had a great stay in Rome. Thank you Marys!

    Isabel2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Marys was kind and helpful. The place was super clean. The shower is located inside your room and the toilette and sink in another room next door but it is only for you to use. You have snacks you can eat from the kitchen and also a place in the fridge to store your water bottles and etc. easy access to Tram and Metro stations. Overall a great stay!

    Shayne2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • The appartment is in a great location, only a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and surrounded by great restaurants. The room, although a little small, suited us well as we were mostly out during the day and only functioned as a place to wash and sleep. Having the toilet and sink in a separate room didn't cause us too much bother. Marys was a lovely host, very friendly and always there to help if we needed anything at all. The breakfast she provided every morning was tasty and a great addition to our stay. Upon arrival Marys gave us all the need-to-know information to explore Rome including a list of her favourite trusted restaurants in San Giovanni which was very helpful. If we were to ever go back to Rome we would not think twice about staying again.

    Katherine2015-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is clean and nice, 10 minutes walk from Colloseum, we even managed to get to Vatican by foot breakfast was tasty, bed was comfortable we really enjoyed the stay!

    Anna2016-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Marys was such a wonderful host and I had a great experience exploring the area as a solo traveler. The location was spot on for both walking around and using the metro. She was a great person to go to for any info in terms of what restaurants to try, what food to try if you want authentic regional cuisines, and what area to avoid walking in at night. I would love to stay here again!

Welcome in one of our 3 Studios! This accommodation is a double or triple bedroom with private bathroom, Kitchenette ( only for breakfast use ) furnished with Tv, Air Conditioning, free WI-FI. Guests can prepare autonomously their breakfast inside the room at anytime. All the necessity for breakfast is provided by us: milk, coffee, bread, butter, jams, orange juice, tea. Nico' Studio is located on the first floor with no elevator.
We are located just few steps by San Peter's square! It is a very safe area. It is one of the most comfortable place to live in Rome. Lots of restaurants bars and shops around.
  • Nicola's place was amazing for our stay in Rome. The studio was convenient to the bus system and Vatican. It was also as clean and comfortable as represented by the pictures. One of the highlights of choosing this studio was Nicola himself! I immediately felt welcome. He explained all the essentials of the studio and surrounding area. I will definitely recommend Nicola's place to any friends visiting Rome. Thank you Nicola!

    Paul2015-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nicola's place was exactly as described. We were very comfortable in our room and felt safe. Close to Vatican and bus stop(although we chose to walk....Vatican is right there and colosseum was a nice 2 mile walk). Nicola was an excellent host and was able to suggest some good places to eat. Of the three B & Bs we stayed in this one was by far the most modern. Air condition controlled by us and unlimited hot water for showers. If Vatican City location is what you are looking for this is the place.

    Lisa2014-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Nicola was very friendly and the room appeared exactly as it did online. He gave us a list of restaurants/ sights to see while we were in town and explained how to use the public transportation. We loved the mini breakfast bar-esp coffee!- and having a 3-minute walk to the Vatican every morning. The exterior of the building was not as nice as the interior, but we never felt unsafe. It was a bit of a walk from the city center and other tourist sights, but we appreciated a bit of distance from the noise of the city night life. The only thing I would have changed was the bathroom situation, a minor detail at best. We had trouble using the shower, and I could never get water out of the sink. We explained this to Nicola, and he said he would look into it right away. Even if he didn't, we would still go back there again. Nicola was a very gracious, knowledge, and friendly host offering an inexpensive and homey location just outside Vatican City- it was exactly what we were looking for and couldn't have enjoyed it more! Thanks, Nicola!

  • This is a great place to stay in Rome. Nicola was fantastic and very attentive to any problems we had. The apartment is located just a 5 minute walk to St. Peter's square. There are bus stops just a few minutes walk that connect you to the whole city. The apartment was just as Nicola describe it and he even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. He also provided breakfast foods and had the place cleaned every day. A fantastic place to stay! If we go back to Rome, this is definitely where we would stay.

    ScottnLorna2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Nicola was very helpful, and had a person coming to clean everyday, there was OJ every morning coffee, and also a bottle of wine to welcome us. He was responded to my texts quickly. I needed him once, and he was there within a few minutes. Thank you so much Nicola for making us feel welcomed in Rome. One more thing the location is amazing near everything, walked to the basilica.

    Natan2015-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Even though the exterior of the apartment isn't as expected to be, but once you enter and the room was good and clean. I had a comfortable short stay.

    Samantha2013-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was amazing! Leading up to our trip to Rome, Nicola was very helping in providing detailed directions to the accommodations and very responsive to messages before and during our stay. When we arrived, the room was very clean and exactly what the pictures and descriptions showed. Our room was cleaned and restocked with breakfast food daily. The location was perfect right next to Vatican City and Nicola also provided us with a list of nearby restaurants which were delicious! We would strongly recommend Nicolas accommodations in Rome!

    Shannon2016-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Nicola was just the best. He made us feel so welcome in his home, and was super helpful. We were very impressed by the house and location( so close to Vatican City). The area was safe feeling, and there was an amazing gelato/croissant place across the road. I wanted to stay for longer, and would recommend to everyone!

  • Great stay. Daniel was very quick to respond. He had helpful suggestions and tips. The apt. was comfortable and a great location.

  • This is a perfect place to stay when visiting Rome. Daniel is a great host who goes out his way to make sure your visit goes well. The apartment is light ,spacious and well equipped. The sun terrace is a perfect place to chill after a day in the city. We found the location safe and well situated - the Vatican City is a 20 minute walk away. The Metro and buses are easily reached and there are good local shops and restaurants. I would certainly book the apartment if visiting Rome again.

    Carole2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel's apartment is amazing, as is Daniel as host. You not only get an amazing apartment in a great neighborhood, you get an instant friend and advocate. We had a lot of issues with our flights and baggage and some tickets we had prepaid that were no longer good as we arrived a day light, Daniel was very helpful. He communicates well and is genuinely looking out for you and making sure you enjoy all there is of Rome. We spent 5 days in the apartment exploring Rome. The bus station is just a block or so away as is the metro. We only used the bus once as we were able to walk the entire city from this location and enjoyed exploring that way. If Daniel is offering an excursion to the Mercado (mostly food market) or shuttle service for the airport, accept both. You will find them both great! Looking forward to my next trip to Rome and visiting this apartment.

    Jennifer2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • When going to Rome and you want a fresh, quite place, on walking distance of the ancient city, where you can enjoy a drink on your own terrace, and sleep with open windows, without the noise of traffic you normally have everywhere in Rome, Go to Domus Daniel, you will be amazed and get spoiled, you will never want to do with less.

    Alain2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our visit to Rome was magnificent And it would not be that great had we not experienced Daniel's hospitality. He was there for us at every step from Airport pick up to sending us back to home. He arranged an excellent dining for me and my wife, furthermore got our table booked and gave us a ride to restaurant and helped us to pick the best of Roman cuisines. Daniel is one host you can count on whenever you are in Rome. Now about his lovely flat, that's perfectly situated in the center of city near almost at a walking distance from important historical sites, Bus station and metro are easily accessible. Flat is clean and beautiful ,well equipped with food and (URL HIDDEN) has a lovely terrace where I spent most of the time relaxing and allowing myself being lazy and at home. Bathroom is clean and modern. What was amazing that Daniel used to come everyday with cleaner himself and made sure of tidiness and cleanings. We used to come back in the evening and find it a new again. In a nut shell, we will definitely come back to his lovely apartment and recommends to all friends and family. Thanks Daniel for being so awesome :)

A very comfortable place in Rome Termini. The place it's very clean and the always smiling staff is available if you need any informations how and were to go around Rome. Restaurants, supermarkets, and lots of shops are available in the area just couple minutes walk from here. The colosseum is just 5 minutes walk from this place and lots of public transports are aswell available in walking distance from were if you want to see amazing places like, Venezia Square by bus 10 minutes. Vatican by Tube 15 minutes. Trastevere by bus 15 minutes. Navona Square by bus 15 minutes. Trevi fountain by tube 5 minutes. Definitely very strategic spot in Rome starting from connections, to get here from Fiumicino and Ciampino airport by train
  • The room is as described in the pictures, it was beautiful. Its located in a central station, just minutes from the Roma termini. My only compliant was the terrible wifi that put made it very difficult to plan my itinerary and do my work. If the wifi is fixed, everything else is great!

  • Our stay at this apartment was okay - the room look exactly like on the pictures. The location is great, the main things to see are within the walking distance. However, I wouldn't choose this place again if I go back to Rome. Comparing to my other airbnb experiences this one didn't stand out.

    Adelina2017-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Upon check in, Cristine was very kind and gave me instructions regarding the flat. Unfortunately, I was a bit under the weather and needed to find a place with A/C, which this place did not have (as I knew when booking, so my own fault). One thing to note is that this room faces a busy road. So it's noisy when the windows are open. Otherwise, I cannot rate the experience as I canceled to stay in a hotel about an hour after arriving.

    Andrea2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a good time in Rome and enjoyed our stay with Cristina. There is some room for improvement. WiFi is not always reliable and some information notes on the wall are a bit unpleasant. • My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Alessandro's apartment! We were greeted by Alessandro's father when we arrived, who waited up late for us and quickly showed us around. We didn't get to meet Alessandro, but he was always quick to respond to messages. The apartment was perfect for us, bigger than we expected from the pictures, and had a really nice balcony! It had everything we needed and was very well equipped. It was in a safe area, extremely close to the Colosseum. There is also a nice gelateria and pizzeria just outside the apartment. There wasn't any wifi unfortunately, but we managed just fine. Rome is a beautiful city, and we would highly recommend staying at Alessandro's apartment. Thanks again for having us!

And now... 10 good reasons to choose my flat! 1. because from the moment you close the door of the flat to the one you touch the stones of Colosseum with your hands it takes 2 minutes and 58 seconds exactly! 2. because there is a supermarket Carrefour next door, opened every day of the week; 3. because the flat has been just renovated; 4. because the area is perfect for tourists: in our street there are 10 restaurants, wine cellars and bistrot, for all tastes and all pockets, and a supermarket; 5. because I can bet you cannot find in the area another flat that can host 7 people, has 2 bedrooms, and 2 baths, at that quality and at that price. 6. because the fans placed in the rooms are more beautiful, more effective and less polluting than air conditioning; 7. because it is in the centre of Roman night life; 8. because after a few days opening and closing the windows watching the Colosseum, you will feel like Russel Crowe in "The Gladiator"; 9. because the neighbors are very nice people; 10. because after reading again this list I have decided that sooner or later I will return living in it!
Not only history and art, restaurants and bars, but also two beautiful parks, Villa Celimontana and Colle Oppio, the green lungs of Celio.
  • With regards to the communication prior to arriving in Rome, Massimo was extremely prompt with his replies to my queries. When we arrived at the apartment, we were delighted to find it extremely spacious and very tastefully-decorated. Massimo had ensured we had everything we needed, from guidebooks, a kitchen with cutlery and crockery, to even a little binder containing little nuggets of information on the apartment, getting around Rome & even our neighbours. Throughout our 3 days in Rome, Massimo was extremely easily contactable & checked in on us to ensure all was well via text. When we couldn't figure out the washing machine, he offered instructions & came down personally to check on it when we were out as well. He also helped us arrange for a driver to bring us to the airport on our last day as it was cheaper for our large group to do so anyway. The apartment's location is very ideal as it is a mere 5 minute walk from the train station Colosseo, and in fact it is possible to walk to most other attractions if you would like to stretch your legs (The Vatican is a little far though, but it's really easy to take the train there) - our walk home from the Trevi Fountain one night afforded us with the gorgeous image of the Colosseum lit up at night. There are several restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, and a big bonus for us was the Carrefour right next door. Perhaps the only very small complaint we had were that with 7 people, we ran through the toilet paper very fast & by the third night, we were out. As I didn't want to disturb Massimo on Good Friday, I just popped down into Carrefour and bought a few rolls so it wasn't much of a problem at all. All in all, we agreed the apartment was the best we stayed in during our Italy trip and I would love to stay there again should I come back to Rome.

  • We had a great time - Massimo thought of just about everything. It's a fabulous location and apartment. I can't think of any problems that weren't easily resolved by looking in the house book. Thanks Massimo - we'll certainly come again - next time for a holiday instead of work work work. Its criminal to have so little time to enjoy everything. I only got halfway through your film!

  • This is an absolutely amazing place to stay if you are visiting Rome! Everything you could possibly need is provided and has ample space. The apartment was clean and tidy for when we arrived and Massimo and his wife made sure they did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, including organising airport transfers for us. The location of this place is ideal, being incredibly close to the colosseum with a metro station near by for easy access across Rome. There is a shop very near by making is easy to by all the food you need for your stay. Would definitely recommend this if you are visiting Rome!

  • This is a lovely apartment - modern, clean and stylish. It's also in a good part of Rome. Within sight of the Colosseum but not noisy at night - which we realised could be a big problem around some of the other areas. We would definitely recommend. Also Massimo was very helpful in the run up to our stay - and also during it when I needed a shuttle having sprained my ankle. (Watch out for potholes in Rome..)

    Liz2015-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • It was nice to meet our host and to run through how everything in the flat worked as well as to have recommendations for places to go. The flat is exactly as pictured - light, spacious and containing everything guests need - and is in a terrific location well in view of the Colisseum. The accommodation is spacious, light and has a kitchen with all conveniences including a dishwasher, gas hob and oven. We had a late flight back home and were grateful to be able to leave our luggage in the flat on the last day and collect it later instead of having to traipse around Rome with it.

    Liz2015-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic apartment! The location could not been better. The apartment was just as describes by the pictures and text. Everything was in place and it was clean. The master bedroom was quiet, but you could hear the traffic a little bit more from the second bedroom. The store below was very convenient and open 24/7. The taxi place and the metro was just a few minutes away. It was also nice restaurants just around the corner, and it was really nice to go to after many hours of walking in beautiful Rome. Massimo was an excellent host, he always gave us quick respond and even arranged taxi from and to the airport. We will for sure use this apartment again and recommend it to other travellers.

    Randi2017-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was amazing! Home is in a perfect location and we felt she and could walk to things very easily! Everything was also clean and refreshing! I would stay there again 100%! Contact with host was also super awesome.

    Jessica2015-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Massimo was awesome! We had some serious delays with Italian public transportation and he still met us when we arrived 8 hours later than planned, at midnight! He showed us around and made sure we were comfortable and knew all the details of the apartment. The apartment was great, just as described and in a very convenient location, within sight of the Colosseum. There was a market right beside it which made getting supplies very easy and quick. If we go back to rome, we would definitely try to stay here again.

Is a delicious and romantic apartment in the charming Rione Ponte located in the historical center of the Eternal City in one of the most lively and fascinating neighborhoods. It situated in a characteristic and peaceful alley that preserves the atmosphere of Rome five-seventeenth century, it is only a few meters from Piazza Navona, Campo de 'Fiori, the Vatican and Castel Sant' Angelo. It is ideal choice for those who want to spend a few days holiday in the heart of Rome. The area offers a very famous typical roman restaurants and many pizzerias as well as craft shops and typical "hostarie", art galleries, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops elegants and of every kind . You may grow into and get lost in the alleys and walk in , when is possible, in the houses’s courtyards and in the buildings as in the churches’s cloisters to live again a neighborhood that still preserve the atmosphere of ancient Rome. The apartment's location is an ideal starting point to discover the history of Rome, it offers the opportunity to walk to everything: San Pietro, Castel Sant'Angelo, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Forum and the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps , Trinity de 'Monti, the Trevi Fountain. The apartment is newly renovated and elegantly furnished, habitat studied in details, with beautiful wooden ceilings that gives it a warm ambience, one of the our main features is focused to meet your needs too. It is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends wishing to spend a few days in Rome. In the apartment there are a comfortable bedroom with double bed and a bathroom, cozy and equipped with set-bathroom. Through two steps lead to the essentials but well organized kitchen and the typical living room, where you have a comfortable single sofa bed (linen provided) a table and a small antique fireplace. Full range of services such as: Fridge, Microwave, LCD-TV, Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning. Thereabouts you can easily find useful services such as laundry, phone centers and car and bicycle rental. This apartment is ideal for a stay in Rome because of its strategic location, and at the same time offers elegance and comfort to those who want an unforgettable holiday in every respect.
The apartment is located in Vicolo del Montonaccio in the heart of the Rione Ponte. One of the oldest among the twenty-two districts that comprise the historic core of the town. It is one of the most important districts of the city, inside the Renaissance District. The name is from the Ponte Sant'Angelo which was, for many centuries, the only point of connection to the Vatican. The Rione Ponte’s present urban physiognomy is from three hundred, also for the confluence of all the main access roads to the Vatican area, destination of the many pilgrims who went to visit the Basilica of St. Peter. So near the various rosaries’s shops were placed side by side the mansions of wealthy patrician families and Cardinals, who according to the fashion of the time, painted the building facades by the best artists of the time. Now the sixteenth aspect of the district is still visible, and will be a nice opportunity to walk, and often get lost, in the maze of streets and alleys, between the old houses that gives us different views about our charming history. We offer all this just came out of the house.
  • Incredible location right in the heart of Rome. Flat was as advertised and nice and clean. Thanks Cristiano.

  • Great 1br apartment in very nice location in Rome. 15 minute walk to Vatican and Trevi fountain. 5 minute walk to piazza novana which had great restaurants. Amazing location overall because it was convenient to tourist spots, but immediate location was more remote and gave a more authentic local experience. Apartment very clean and easy to find on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)maps. Only slight negative was no air conditioning in bed room, which was hot on a night in late August. Didn't meet Cristiano in person but Stefania was there waiting us and she was very friendly and informative. Cristiano was very responsive via email.

    Phil2014-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • The flat was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. It is in the perfect location and Cristiano was very helpful.

  • Great location! Great interior! Great host! If you're going to Rome, stay here. You won't regret it.

  • We like the apartment vary much. The location is wanderful. It equipped vary good and make the living vary comfortable. The kitchen provide the opportunity to cook. The hospitality is excellent. The driver took us from and to the airport (50 euro each side). The owner meet us and help us to settle. The services we got was beyond that written in the contract, and helped us a lot. The apartment us in the first floor. The pro is that you getting out to the street vary easily. The con is that you can not open windows. We recommend the apartment vary much.

    Mom2015-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was great. It looked just like the pictures! It was a great location and would recommend it to our friends. In fact we were flying home from Rome I gave the information to someone on the flight.

    Yvonne2015-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend this apartment to everyone. The apartment is really nice, looks exactly like in the pictures. It was very clean, the kitchen was equipped with some useful supplies and the shower was hot & the water pressure good. The location of the apartment is superb, in a really nice neighbourhood. With a small supermarket nearby, and lots of restaurants and cafes. And although it's located in the centre, there was minimal street noise because it's in a dead end street. There's no metro station nearby, it could be that there's a buss stop, but we walked everywhere. The city centre is very compact, and most tourist attractions are at a walking distance. And a useful tip if you arrive at Fiumicino: we took the SIT shuttle buss from the airport to Via Crescenzio. The drive takes about 40 mins, and costs 6 euros per person, one way. From there it's about 15 mins walking to the apartment. Remember to print out a map with the route to the apartment, otherwise you might get lost ;-) Cristiano was a very nice host. He responded very quickly to our e-mails, and was waiting at the apartment to meet us when we arrived.

    Anne2013-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Cristiano was lovely and the apartment is so ideally located. Everything was within 30mins walk and there was heaps of restaurants around the area with Cristiano recommending those that are not the typical tourist traps. The 2nd bedroom is the living room but it worked well for us. Highly recommend this apartment and Cristiano.

    LOVELY APARTMENT VATICAN
    291 reviews
Nice and cosy attic in the heart of a characteristic neighborhood in Rome. The flat has just been completly renovated and is fully equiped with anything you need for your roman holiday 
Pigneto R(h)ome "La Casa a Scacchi " is a small (40sm) but cosy attic in the heart of the pedestrian area of Pigneto and is located in a small and tipically roman ancient building of 1910. The apartment consists of a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a small terrace. The bedroom has a king size double bed and it is very quiet overlooking a courtyard, there is also a single sofa bed. the room features smart LED TV 40", air conditioning, dvd player and a ipod/iphone dock station with radio/alarm clock, free unlimited ADSL WiFi. Also the kitchen is fully equipped: oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, coffe maker and a washer-dryer! The bathroom is a little oasis of pleasure with shower tub to treat yourself after all your roman walking tours!!!!
The building despite being in the heart of pedestrian Pigneto is located at the intersection of two streets very quiet and peaceful. The name of the village, Pigneto, is due to the presence of a long row of pines, planted by the family Caballini and in recent years he has become one of the centers of Roman nightlife. The Pigneto suburb is full of cheap restaurants, wine bars, pubs, dance clubs and funky shops andit is a world apart from the chaotic Rome with a young and hipster touch. For the movie fans the suburb is the place where italian realism is born. "Roma città aperta" and Pasolini movies were filmed here. Moreover, we advise the fresh markets which takes place everymorning in the main street and , on the last sunday of each month, there is an interesting small flee markets.
  • It was a nice place - great stove and shower. We were only there one night.

  • Roberto and the flat were great and just as advertised. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a new part of the city for us. The stay was short, but we really enjoyed the flat and Roberto's patience with us when we were slow to get out. Definitely recommended for anyone searching for a cozy spot in an alternative part of Rome. Grazie Roberto!

    Amanda2015-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Rested in the apartment Roberto 10 days. Everything is fine and functional. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities. Stove, refrigerator, washing machine, kitchen utensils. Very cozy balcony. The bed is soft and very large. Heating apartment is wonderful! Shower is perfect!  Communication with Roberto 100% always, assistance was provided immediately. Tips were always very helpful! Conveniently located near tram and bus stops. All the necessary infrastructure nearby, shops, cafes and other fun! IF STILL WILL IN ROME, only to Robert !!!  Recommend to everyone !!!

  • We loved staying at Roberto's apartment. Very clean and lots to experience around the neighborhood as a local. We really enjoyed the balcony and rooftop. The neighborhood seemed a little rough at first glance but as we walked around the people were so nice, lots of good food and lots to see. We enjoyed exploring this neighborhood more than we liked touring around the city center. Roberto was very responsive and provided all the essentials. I also appreciated how he provided 2 kinds of pillows (1 fluffy 1 stiff) for each guest as I'm picky with my pillow so it was nice to have a selection. We were there 6 days so needed to go out and get extra toilet paper and picked-up olive oil so we would cook, but we enjoyed that experience as we got to meet the local merchants. I would stay at Roberto's again!

    Liz2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved my stay at Roberto's! The location is just outside of Rome in a very cool, young, lively area! The place has all modern amenities and felt very comfortable and safe. I will definitely stay here again! Roberto was helpful and available for anything I needed.

  • Patrizio is a lovely host, very receptive, funny and he makes you feel like his flat is your flat. Everything was nice and extremely clean, which is important to me. Thanks again Patrizio for welcoming us, giving us tips to visit the city and being such a warm host. The flat is very well located to visit Roma, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND for the location, the tidiness and for the host.

  • The flat is very well located, near the coloseum, metro station, and many great restaurants, and markets (15 minutes by walk). The room is cosy, big, very bright and quiet. Patrizio is very friendly, helpfull and nice guy, he gives us a map of rome and a lot of indications of what we can do around the flat... great! Thank u very much Patrizio! Hope we see you in Rome again.

  • Clean appartments. Patrizio takes tidyness on a serious level. The place is calm and quite. Good placement, it's walking distance to the most of sight-seeing. 1 h and you can reach even the farthest ones. Grocery shop is just accross the street. We didn't compare prices with Auchan because shopped always there. Patrizio himself is open and communicative. He seems never sleeping and answering in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and the AirBnb app.

    Serge2016-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. It's very close to the centre where all the attractions are and there's a lovely Italian cafe at the corner with the best cappuccino I've ever had. Patrizio was also very helpful and responded very quickly when we messaged him.

    Jane2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Patrizio was an amazing host, and his flat is absolutely wonderful! It's recently renovated, and it has everything you could want - a kitchen in which you can cook, excellent bathrooms - in addition to being modern and beautiful. We especially enjoyed having our own balcony attached to our room! The flat is centrally located, only about a 10-15 minute walk to the Colosseum, which was perfect. It is also very close to the Manzoni metro stop, from which you can get anywhere you need to go in Rome - particularly Termini, which is just a few minutes on the metro. Patrizio is very nice, professional, and really caters to his guests. Since we got in to Rome quite late, he offered to pick us up from the airport! This worked out so well, and really took the stress away and let us enjoy our trip. Patrizio is always on call when you need him. I would highly recommend staying at his lovely flat. Thanks for everything Patrizio!

    Melissa2016-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was indeed close to the main events of Rome. Check in was smooth and there are a range of restaurants to visit as well. Be aware that there are other guests and the sound carries through this place... we were fortunate to have respectful housemates but if you're looking for a restful night it's a roll of the dice whether you're on the same sleep schedule. The listing did indicate this so it's still a full 5 star for accuracy ;)

    Kate2017-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Patrizio was very helpful and friendly. His willingness to compromise with us was a true show to his character and I would gladly recommend him to anyone that wanted to stay in Rome. The fact that it's a 5 min walk to the colosseum (if you walk fast) helps too. Great location in the sense of closeness to everything else. All in all, it was an amazing time and he's a great guy. From Tiff and Kim

    Tiffany2016-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Patrizio is a nice host. Always responds to queries quickly. The room was large and had it own balcony. The apartment is well located, just a few minutes walk from the metro. We shared the apartment with multiple guests (each had their own room), which feels like a more luxurious hostel. There were two bathrooms, so you did not need to worry about the morning rush.

On a small, quiet street steps from charming and ancient eatery and shopping street Via Del Governo Vecchio, this apartment is a perfect mixture between ancient and modern for a couple or a single traveler looking to explore Rome.
PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES CAREFULLY. On a small and quiet street steps from the charming and ancient eatery and shopping street Via Del Governo Vecchio, this apartment is a perfect mixture between ancient and modern for a couple or a single traveler looking to explore Rome. Just minutes from all of Rome's major historical attractions, and found just off the street of some of the bests restaurants around, this is an amazing and safe little neighborhood in the historical center of Rome. In a ancient palazzo, this apartment maintains its Italian charm with original tile flooring and antique wardrobes, while being tastefully and comfortably modernized - air conditioning, flat screen tv, modern and updated kitchen. After entering the doors, the light and spacious open loft plan welcomes you after a long day. To the left is a bathroom with sink, shower, bidet, hair dryer, and above it all - in case you need it on your vacation - a washer. The main downstairs room consists of two huge glass doors that will allow in natural light and act as an entrance into your own small patio, a modern and new kitchen with a two stove top burner, refrigerator, toaster, hot water kettle, and all the pots, pans, utensils, glasses, plates you could need. A small table for two and a large and antique wardrobe for storage finish off the room. In a loft built above the kitchen, and easily accessible by stairs, is a large (and comfortable) bed (it is larger then the American queen and just smaller then the American king). All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, towels) are provided. This apartment has air conditioning.
One of the best things about living in this neighborhood (and we know because we live in the apartment directly above Vicolo Escape for Due!) is how charming and 'Italian' this area feels. Even with its extreme close proximity to everything, the area is quiet and the morning and evenings are the perfect time to watch the locals out and about. At one end of the Vicolo is the beautiful Chiesa Nuova and a small grocery store where you can explore all the typical Italian grocery store offerings (at very fair prices). At the other end of the Vicolo you will find the local bar with 1euro cappuccino's and .80 brioche. Rome By Foot (our guests are usually surprised at how close everything truly is) Castel Sant'Angelo... less then 5 minutes Piazza Navona... less then 5 minutes The Pantheon... 10 minutes The Vatican... 10 minutes Ancient Rome... about 10 -15 minutes (this is a huge area)
  • Nice place, in the center of Rome.

    Chloé2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a great stay at this apartment in Rome! The apartment was clean and cozy - just enough room for the two of us. It was also in a GREAT location near the Piazza Navona and tons of lively bars and restaurants. We were also easily able to walk to all the major sites of Rome. Pietro was a great host - when we couldn't figure out how to use the washing machine he offered to do our laundry for us! We would definitely recommend this apartment to other young couples who are looking to see the sights and enjoy great restaurants and nightlife.

    Laurel2015-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is the perfect place to base yourself for all the sites of Rome plus with an awesome host who can give you lots of local tips from where to eat, what else there is to see and the best times to go. The apartment was cosy and well stocked with everything you need from cooking facilities to a decent hairdryer. The perfect AirB&B stay with the perfect host. Just what the service is all about.

The apartment looked exactely like in the photos. It was tidy and clean, not too big, but perfect for a short stay for 2. The location was ideal for exploring the city by foot and we loved the small alleys in our neighborhood and the atmosphere they created. • Aldo was the perfect host- attentive, communicative, and gracious. I felt completely at home in his apartment and definitely appreciated the air conditioning after long, hot days of walking the city. The en suite bathroom was a big plus, and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment building is in a great location - a short walk to Vatican City and very close to a Metro stop. The rooms all have their own bathrooms and toilets, TVs and are large rooms. A train ride away from the Vatican, Spanish steps, Colosseum and the other main attractions.

  • This listing was a great value. The host provided snacks, breakfast foods, coffee, grains, and more. They home was fully stocked for an extended stay vacation. When we arrived, the host was there waiting for us, and was extremely caring. When we come back to Roam, we are definitely going to try and get this same apartment.

  • By far the best Air BnB experience I ever had. 2 days before our arrival he offered to assist us with arranging a pick up service from the airport. When we arrived, they greeted us with breakfast and provided snacks and beverages for the duration of our stay. Stefano and his wife are absolutely the kindest and gracious people we have ever met. They were always available to help us with any questions or needs we had. They also provided information on where to eat, visit, and anything else we could think of. The apartment is gorgeous and quite spacious with bathrooms in every room and beautiful balcony overlooking the city. On our last night we enjoyed wine and and was surprised with fireworks from the Vatican. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and spacious. We were also very close to the metro, which allowed us travel easily travel within the city. Hands down the best stay and hosts!!!

  • Rain was very nice and accommodating. The location was great for walking around to see the sights.

  • Great little apartment very close to Rome termini. Additionally only about a 15 minute walk to the Coliseum. Rain was very accommodating and provided a great breakfast and plenty of coffee. The neighborhood however gets a little dicey late at night, I would recommend traveling with a group or taking a taxi if you are going back to the apartment at night. Seem to be rougher people in the area once it gets late, but stay off the streets and you'll be OK. Overall would recommend to a friend, great value.

    Erik2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Rain and his family were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and homely. Would definitely recommend and will visit again if possible.

  • The room is very conveniently located 3mns walk from the Termini bus station (airport arrivals and departures). Rain and the rest of the staff are very very friendly. The neighborhood is OK, and it's convenient to go anywhere from there. Excellent value for the cost. I will come back.

    georges2017-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Rain and his wife are very gentle. The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean. The location is very near to the train station, easy to go everywhere. The breakfast was delicious! Thank you Rain!

The flat, cozy and quiet, has just been renovated and gives you a modern and fine habitat, a unique and exclusive stay for families or groups of friends.
This gorgeous flat is in a central area of Rome, the Rione Trevi. This neighborhood holds much of the most important architectural heritage of the Eternal City, between ancient palaces (Palace Colonna, Palace Barberini and the Quirinale Palace), memorable fountains (Trevi Fountain, Barcaccia Fountain, Triton Fountain) and unforgettable squares (Barberini Square , Spagna Square and Popolo Square). The flat, cozy and quiet, has just been renovated and gives you a modern and fine habitat, a unique and exclusive stay for families or groups of friends. It is a 160 square in a nineteenth century building, on the fifth floor and with entrance on Via del Tritone (the name comes from the Triton Fountain created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini), it can accommodate up to 9 peoples. The apartment consists of: -Living-room furnished with sofas early twentieth century, lamps and LCD TV; -Dining room with modern and fully equipped kitchen, fridge, freezer, stove, washing machine, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and all necessary tools to have a good meal house; -Three large bedrooms with a King Size bed and sofa/single bed; -Two bathrooms (one with bath and one with shower) comfortable and cozy, set-fitted bathroom, hairdryer and hand soap; All rooms are with air conditioning, heating, free wifi and LCD TV, with large windows overlooking on Barberini Square, the amazing Triton Fountain by Bernini (1642) and the rooftops of Rome. The location is perfect to see our beautiful city, close Barberini Square and Trevi Fountain, just a few minutes walk from the Spagna Square, Via Veneto, the Pantheon and most of all the Coliseum. This neighborhood in the 1950s and 1960s has been the heart of the jet-set life that inspired the Maestro Federico Fellini for the film 'La Dolce Vita', so for your nightlife you have a lots of theaters, restaurants, bars and fun. A perfect combination of excellent location, comfort and elegance to all who want an unforgettable holiday.
Trevi is the second district of Rome, one of the oldest neighborhoods. It’s name comes from Trivium, who means the confluence of the three roads leading to the famous Trevi Fountain visited by thousands of tourists every day. Tradition says that throwing a coin into the water you will return one day in Rome. In the Renaissance and the seventeenth century Rione Trevi saw the shine of the "Palace of the Popes" (now the Quirinal Palace) and the Barberini Palace completed by Francesco Borromini in 1633. Strolling through the District you can see Barberini Palace with the Triton statue made by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Spagna Square with the Barcaccia Fountain, and do not miss the Galleria Sciarra, the only example of Art Nouveau in the city. From the Via Quattro Fontane to the beautiful fountain of Via del Tritone by Bernini, every step will take you into a world full of art and history, and you will be surprised from the charming views and the precious details. Take a walk around the alleys and be delighted from the flavors and the scents of the many restaurants, taverns, bars, from the shops to the boutiques and art galleries most original. Just a little curiosity: A major tenant of the Rione Trevi was Michelangelo Buonarroti, who died very old, at 89 (1564), in a house in "Macel de 'Corvi" alone and covered with lice. The house was close the Venezia Square and now is disappeared.
  • Very spacious apartment in the heart of Rome. 3 very big bedrooms, one extra pull out couch by the foyer, 2 full baths and kitchen - fully air conditioned - located steps from several attractions. Highly recommended!

  • This was a great apartment for sharing with friends, in the center of Rome. We walked to many of the City landmarks and enjoyed our neighborhood. It was very close to the metro which made the whole city, including the old Appian Way, easy to reach. Cristiano was very helpful in our communications, including arranging our transfer from the airport to the apartment. We had a great stay!

  • We loved the apartment! It is beautiful, clean, well equipped and recently renovated. There were four of us, but the apartment comfortably accommodates up to 8 adults. The location is great, around the corner from Piazza Barberini and an easy walking distance to the key attractions, and access to the Metro. Cristiano was a most gracious and helpful host. I would highly recommend the apartment for any family or group of friends who want to spend a few unforgettable days in the Eternal City!

  • I did the booking 1 month before dates. At very last moment (few hours before) the address of the booking is changed by the Owner. It is quiet annoying for me. Still it was a budget place. Not good for family.

  • Located a bit away from major tourist sights but very close to Termini Station and Metro Hub. Great location for those arriving late or leaving early either by train or from Da Vinci airport. Because the Metro is so close no destination is far away. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance. Room and facilities very good. We had one of our best showers in 6 weeks away.

    Fred2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Easy check-in, and very close to Termini station. Probably would not stay here again during the summer months as there is no A/C and proved very difficult to sleep in 40 degree weather.

  • Beautiful place in the heart of the city. Very close to the Colleseo (15 mins walking). The place is hard to find at the beginning. It's a beautiful old building equipped with everything you need inside (washing machine, iron, stove, etc). There's a very big tree as my window view very beautiful. The neighborhood is like what I saw in the movie and I was amazed (as I am Indonesian I've never seen something like that before).

  • My stay at Christine's was spectacular, she is a great host who is always there to help. The location of the apartment is ideal, within a short walking distance you will find restaurants and shops. • Giorgio and Laura's apartment is so lovely, airy, spacious, and clean! What a treat to stay there. I recommend this neighborhood as well bc it's very lively and close to the sites! More importantly - Giorgio was very prompt in his responses to my inquiries and was in constant communication to ensure that I found the place okay, to help with airport transfer, check-in and check-out. Thank you both for making my visit so lovely!

  • This was a fabulous place to stay to visit Rome. It is handy to all the big attractions. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Loved the little touches such as chocolate cookies and water/juice in the fridge. It is located on the fifth floor so not so fun carrying up the bags but helped work off all the yummy Italian food!

    Helen2014-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Our hosts made us feel very welcome, there was a slight problem with electrics but they kindly housed us in an apartment in the same area till it was resolved, then had our luggage all transferred across and deposited into the apartment we had booked. The apartment looks just as it does in the photos. The apartment is spacious, light and in a great location. I would highly recommend using this apartment, and was very grateful for such friendly, helpful hosts.

    Lisa2015-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Giorgio was very prompt with answering questions regarding the apartment. He was not there when we checked in, but the housekeeper was on site to let us in. We arrived at our apt at the check in time but b/c the apt had not been fully cleaned yet, we were asked to return in 30 mins. We were able to leave our luggage in our apt during this time so it was not a big inconvenience. The apt is as shown in the pictures - spacious and clean. It was also located in a very convenient location. The metro is just a quick 2-3 min walk across the piazza or if you need a taxi, you can hail one at the piazza as well. We were able to walk from some of the main sites to our apt as well. There are many restaurants in the area, and Giorgio also provides recommendations so you will not have any trouble finding a place to eat during your stay. Giorgio also provided water and juice in the refrigerator, as well as cookies. We would highly recommend this apt as long as you don't have a lot of luggage or difficulty with stairs!

  • We had a great stay in this apartment. It was bright and clean. The hosts were replying very quickly to all our questions. They met us when we arrived and helped us carry up all our luggage to the 5th floor. The apartment is exactly as nice as the pictures shows.

The location is perfect, central to so many things Rome has to offer. Though the unit is on the fourth floor, and there is no elevator, our host carried our bags for us, making for a much more pleasant arrival :)

  • Joey's hosting was fantastic, he made us feel extreme welcome and have us lots of helpful information for finding our way around the city, including a map! The apartment was just as it was listed and the bottle of Prosseco on arrival was a lovely touch! The location was absolutely perfect, very central and easy walking distance to lots of the main sights - seconds from the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain. Joey went above and beyond looking after our bags on the last day and arranging a taxi to the airport. We will 100% go back and stay again.

  • The apartment was as pictured and described. Joey was a fantastic host and excellent communicator. The best thing about the apartment is it's excellent location, you are never more than 20-30mins from most major attractions. The apartment also has renovated bathrooms and very reliable WIFI. A special surprise is the bottle of proseco Joey presented and assortment of pastries as we arrived! Overall a very well presented apartment, excellent host and unbeatable location.

    Cecilia2016-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Joey is a great host and made sure our entire stay was a comfortable one. He arranged airport transfer for us, greeted us the second we arrived in front of the property and assisted with the luggage. He also explained where the main attractions are, which are the best restaurants in the area and prepared a "welcome gift", consisting of prosecco an sweets. On top of this, he was always available on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and assisted whenever we had a question or wish.
