Fried Chicken Joint

“This is an iconic place - very casual, you sit on picnic tables and are served family-style. The ambiance is very Texas country-style. Menu is limited to fried chicken, chicken fried steak, salad, corn and mashed-potatoes. It is not particularly healthy but it is very yummy and the wait staff is usually very entertaining - it's an experience!!”

“The Owners have been our friends for 30 years. They have the best restaurant in these parts, and their longevity and popularity speak to that. Fine food, easy and comfortable environment. Ask for Curtis or Chris Wells and tell them the folks at Paigebrooke sent you for one of their fine dishes. ”
