“Temple Bar is a busy riverside neighbourhood, spread over cobbled pedestrian lanes. Crowded pubs host live folk music and DJ sets, and diners pack restaurants serving Asian, American and Irish cuisine. Quirky boutiques stock clothes and crafts by local designers. The National Photographic Archive highlights Ireland’s past, while the Project Arts Centre and Temple Bar Gallery + Studios shows contemporary art.”

Music Venue
“The 3Arena is an indoor amphitheatre located at North Wall Quay in the Dublin Docklands in Dublin, Ireland. The venue opened as The O₂ on 16 December 2008. It was built on the site of the former Point Theatre, a smaller music venue which operated from 1988 to 2007, retaining only some of the outer facade.”

“Great music scene and sprawling, yet tiny, pub. Whelan's is actually a couple buildings that have been joined together, so on one side it's a classic pub, on the other more lively and modern. Lots to explore here.”

“Well the Guinness is always excellent here - and that's a rarity. There's almost always some live music. This is a famous place - a drinker where politicians shady sorts have long rubbed shoulders.”

“15 William St S - a Dublin institution with arguably the best pint of Guinness in the city. It’s a combination of an old man pub & a hipster joint and you can find half of Dublin sitting outside on a sunny day sipping their pints of plain and enjoying a classic ham and cheese toastie.”

“Slattery’s Pub in Beggars Bush is fresh, bright, colourful with several different dedicated areas – a craft beer bar, a roof terrace and even a ‘love loft’. I’d argue that a pint of Guinness here is among the best in Dublin.”

“One of the oldest pubs in Dublin, this pub was named after a chapel dedicated to Saint George in 1181. The Long Hall preserves a Victorian atmosphere evoking a by-gone age. The original pub which backs on to Dublin Castle opened in the 1860's and was much used by the Fenians. Today, The Long Hall retains much of its old charm; on the walls are engravings of the dealings of the Russian Emperor Paul I with the Polish patriot Kosiusko as well as prints of Gainsborough ladies. Over the entrance to the toilets are panels of art nouveau glass. The woodwork interior adds an air of authenticity to the premises.”

“Pricey but nice speakeasy. "The chic and comfortable vintage surrounds are a throwback to the golden age of speakeasies, aviators and silent movie starlets. The extensive, award winning cocktail menu is lots of fun and the plates of food are a gourmet treat! Come ring VCC's doorbell, take a seat and allow them to indulge your every cocktail whim and feed your hungry bellies"”
