Your accommodations are minutes from Rutland City, Killington & Pico, the Northeast's premier ski and golf resort. Hiking and mountain biking at Pine Hill Park is but a few minutes from the Benincasa Inn. Several nearby lakes provide spectacular kayaking and outdoor opportunities. A short drive from Rutland is the beautiful McLaughlin Falls, as well as other attractions like Wilson Castle in nearby Center Rutland.
Built around 1890 to 1900 the Benincasa Inn is a few minutes walk from historic downtown Rutland, VT.
The Benincasa Inn is located in the historic South West section of the City of Rutland. One of my neighbors has been living next door for the past 50 years. The street is comprised of single and two family dwellings. A well maintained public space know as "Meadow Street Park" is less than a 4 minute walk down the street. I have enjoyed this wonderful outdoor space since I was a child. And the most spectacular mountain biking and walking trails, such as "Santa's Little Helper" are waiting for you at Pine Hill Park about a mile away. Pine Hill Park is truly one of Rutland's finest gems.

  • Erik and Eli are great hosts! It took us extra time to get there because of weather and having to work full days before we left, but Erik and Eli stayed up and waited for us to arrive. They even made us banana bread with walnuts and chocolate chips which was still warm when we got there! They were kind and provided great tips for local places to go and things to see. We would definitely stay here again!

    Emily2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Erik and Eli's home was a great place to stay close to Killington. The bed was very comfortable, the space felt private, and there were nice amenities like a coffee maker and mini fridge. I would stay again if I return to the area!

    Alaina2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great value! Only 10 minutes from Pico, it feels like an apartment all to yourself with a bedroom, bonus room and a private bathroom! Super clean and great hosts!

    Steven2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great suite that is so conveniently located next to Killington.

    Carrie Ann2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Erik was very nice and gave great food tips. They where very quiet and felt like we had the house to our selves. No complaints but some people may be uncomfortable due to not having a door separating the entrance to the upstairs to the main floor other then a trifold partition. There are doors for the bathroom and bedroom though so you still do have your privacy, although I personality was fine with this I just thought I’d put it here for a FYI. I would stay here again :).

    Christopher2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Erik & Eli are the consummate hosts. Their space is lovely! They have coffee set up for your enjoyment. Plenty of space for belongs. Super comfy bed. They are quick to respond, have great tips for local restaurants, and are very thoughtful & personable. Highly recommend a stay here!

    AnnMarie2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Close to Killington. Big, comfortable bed. Hands off but available hosts. Great stay

    Ezra2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Erik & Eli were great! They messaged us to warn us about bad road conditions on the day of our arrival and were very welcoming when we arrived much later than expected due to the bad weather. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have slept on with Airbnb! The location to Killlington was perfect and Sugar & Sprice (the breakfast place Erik & Eli recommended) was amazing! If you are driving in the winter, you will definitely want a 4x4 vehicle as there is a steep hill you have to travel up on their road. But it's a cute little space and a beautiful area of Vermont.

  • Had a great time at Sherri's place. Very cozy and would stay again!

    Sravya2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This location was perfect! Not only was there a huge flat screen TV that I could binge Netflix on at night after I got back from the mountain, the bed in bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! I couldn't have picked a better location in regards to going back and forth from Killington. Basically a straight, quick shot to the mountain (which was even more convenient after long day of riding). I highly highly recommend Sherri's place for anyone looking for a nice & peaceful spot!

    Justin2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Sherri and Matt are great hosts! Their place was sparkling clean and so comfortable. And it was bigger than the photos made it seem! The chocolate cupcakes were such a lovely touch 😊

  • Wonderful place - spacious yet cozy. Great soaker tub with jets after a day on the slopes!

  • Sherri’s place was exactly how it was pictured! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick trip, and everything was great. Sherri recommended an amazing local restaurant and she had cupcakes for us on arrival. I would stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Good Snow tires with front wheel drive or preferably an all wheel drive vehicle is needed in the winter months. This cozy little pond-side cottage leaves little to be desired. Located 10 minutes from Pico, 20 minutes from Killington, 15 minutes from Downtown Rutland, and just around the (proverbial) corner from Sugar and Spice, it's easy access to some of the best skiing, splitboarding, mountain biking, kayaking, and ice skating around. Please no smoking on the premises.
This is a remodeled hunting cabin with some modern touches, including an open layout. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate on the couch looking out onto the pond after a long day at the mountain, or stroll around the old logging trails in the bordering woods. The open space encompasses the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven, stove, toaster oven, and microwave. Our living room has a smart TV that you can connect to your Netflix or Amazon account. We've got board games and books for a night in, as well as WiFi. We recommend downloading/using an app that allows you to make calls and send texts through WiFi before arriving because cell service is spotty. The bedrooms consist of queen size beds (and a twin size mattress if needed) with lots of natural light and two windows that open to the pond. The bathroom is large and contains a washer/dryer and a walk-in shower. Please no smoking on the premises.
The cottage is located on a quiet private road in a rural section of Rutland County, 15 minutes outside of Rutland and 25 minutes from Killington Access Road.
  • Barbara’s cottage is the exact getaway stay that you would picture when thinking about Vermont. Tucked away, yet still very close to civilization. Killington is close by as well. I highly recommend the cottage as well as her as a host. You will not be disappointed!

    Alexander2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place even better view

    Neeta2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara's place was everything I was hoping for. It was a beautiful cottage with gorgeous views of the pond. While rustic, it was also incredibly clean. It was close to great hiking, and the town of Rutland was a short drive away. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time immensely.

    Rebecca2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara’s cottage is very comfortable and is convenient to many places of interest. The setting on the pond is especially beautiful and peaceful, and we enjoyed using the kayaks one afternoon when the fall colors of the woods all around the pond made it a memorable experience. After a day of exploring central Vermont, it was a pleasure to return to such a perfect place and a good night’s sleep.

  • This lovely property is just as described. Nicole is an excellent host. Clean and comfortable home away from home! Would recommend!

    Kathryn2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great time. Great location. Nicole was wonderful. We really enjoyed our time there. Close to town for a drive or walk. Close to great trails too.

  • Nicole is a great host! Very sweet and accommodating. She helped answer all questions and was super responsive literally to the minute!

    Jen2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nicole has thought of every detail to make her Apartment 1 unit comfortable. It’s extremely tidy. She is a responsive and conscientious host. We appreciated the AC running when we arrived with 90 degree heat. Her location was perfect for our needs and it was a great space to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. Thank you for all the snacks, bottled drinks and a stocked cupboard.

    Eileen2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely Stay. I didn't originally notice from the photos how Christian the decor is. We thought it was funny, but if bible quotes on the walls, towels, and shower curtain make you uncomfortable, be warned. But it was very clean and comfortable. Nicole even left out snacks, and there were staples in the fridge. Such Christian generosity! :)

    Nell2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot! Highly recommend over one of the local hotels. The food and drinks she left were perfect. Nicely decorated with little vignettes of antiques that were interesting to look at. Thank you, will stay here again if available for the next time we are here!

    Kaitlin2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nicole’s place is immaculate and chique, it’s very spacious and easily accommodates a small family or two couples. It’s very close to shopping, city center, and the mountains. Nicole strives to make her guest for comfortable and special. Will definitely book again.

  • Ed & Peggy's place was an incredible find. The space is incredibly charming and there are thoughtful touches everywhere. From the homemade cupcakes to the incredible communication with our hosts, our stay could not have gone better! It is a gorgeous location right on the pond and I hope to be back soon to spend more time in the Airbnb itself. Thanks for everything Ed & Peggy!

    Shruti2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Ed and Peggy’s home is what Vermont is all about. The location was perfect, the space was more than we expected and the hosts were great. We could not have been happier with our entire experience.

    Steve2019-10-13T00:00:00Z

  • These hosts truly thought of everything. It was a very cozy space where we could relax after a long day of hiking. The homemade baked goods and local coffee/tea/candy was so special. The bed was comfortable. The living area was the perfect space to relax in with the fireplace. The view over the water was just stunning! I hope I can return one day!

  • This was easily one of my favorite Airbnb stays! The check in was super easy. The location was gorgeous (with an incredible view and pond). The apartment itself was very clean and neat. Notes and custom welcome signs were a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here for future trips!

    Tyler2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible hosts! Rapid responses, easy check-in and thoughtful details at every turn. To start, we were afforded a flexible check-in window which allowed us to take our time on our hike. When we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and tasty cupcakes! The space itself was clean and equipped with everything you could think of (and all of those little things you failed to when you were packing!). The scenery outside the home was incredible, and having access to the pond is unbeatable. Definitely recommend!

The Peabody house is cozy farm house on a working sheep farm in Pittsford. We are just north of Rutland and south of historic Brandon, 35 minutes from the Killington ski area and 40 minutes from Middlebury College. Come visit beautiful Vermont.
This space is the original house built in the 1820's by Remembrance Hitchcock. It has two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and bath. Original door thumb latches, wide board floors and hand-planed boards are all features of the home. Our adjoining section of the house was added later by Joseph Peabody in the 1850s and became his woolen goods workshop and store. Sheep are still on the property today.
Pittsford is a nice community in between historic Brandon and Rutland. We have a great recreation area with a trail system and a swimming area with a lifeguard during the summer. We have a pass that allows you to use the facility. We are especially known for our 4 covered bridges.
  • Wonderful cozy old farm. Very comfortable

  • Jim & Liz’s Airbnb was wonderful! Their home has so much history and is full of character. We were in Vermont for a wedding at the Mountaintop Inn & Resort and the bnb was a really convenient location for us. We loved the extra touches such as the farm fresh eggs and creamer from the local dairy down the road. Watching the snow fall out the windows as we sipped our coffee each morning was one of my favorite parts. We also REALLY appreciated the pack-n-play and highchair provided for our little guy and the white noise machines in the bedrooms helped him sleep through the night. Thank you Jim & Liz for being such great hosts!

  • Jim & Liz's place was very charming! Quite comfortable, easy to find, and very clean. Hosts were easy to get in touch with and responded quickly.

    Liat2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place for the three of us to stay for a quick weekend ski trip to Killington. The house is adorable. Yes the stairs to the two bedrooms are more steep and narrow than what are in a modern house but that is part of the charm of being in a home built in the 1800’s. The fresh eggs provided by our hosts were yumm. The WiFi was great for watching movies. The entire house is sparkling clean. The beds are comfortable. The directions to the local grocery and to Killington were accurate and very much appreciated. This was a great way to experience the unique quaintness of Vermont.

    Kimberly2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place! We came up for a ski trip and not only is Jim & Liz’s place perfectly located (we hit Stratton- about an hour, Killington- about a half hour, and Sugarbush- about an hour), but the house is lovely. Plenty of space, a great kitchen for fixing our own meals, and comfortable for relaxing after a day of skiing. And eggs fresh from their own hens- fantastic touch!

    Timothy2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place to stay, quiet and clean. We spent most of our day skiing but it was nice to head back to a comfy space afterwards. The house is much cuter in person than the photos make it out to be!

  • Amazing property, very clean, great guy, awesome amenities, it’s a bit tricky to get to at night, but I will definitely return to say since I travel to Killington and Warren a lot. Enjoyed my conversation with Richard and looking forward to exchanging more travel stories when I get back.

    Sonny2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Richard was a gracious and extremely hospitable host. The stay far exceeded expectations. If your looking to get away and experience the pristine and delightful ambiance Vermont has to offer, this place is it! Little personal touches put this stay over the top. Highly recommend.

    Kimberly2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • The photos don't do this place justice! It's beautiful, decorated so lovely from all of Richard's travels, and you have access to literally everything you need. The view from the back porch in the fall is amazing, and the whole property is cozy and inviting. Highly recommend!

Enjoy our classic 1835 Vermont farmhouse with spectacular views of Killington and Pico Mountains right from your room. The room has a queen bed, a private bathroom, and antique furniture. Historic downtown Rutland is 3 miles away and has a variety of shops, restaurants, the Paramount Theater, yoga classes, and a movie theater. We are located in a country setting surrounded by farmland and mountains. Check out the Women's World Cup Ski Racing at Killington 11/30/19!
We have 1 comfortable private room furnished with a queen bed, antiques and private bathroom. There are mountain views from the room and the front porch. There is a mini fridge and a micro wave available in the parlor and a pot of hot water for tea or instant oatmeal in the living room. These are both common spaces to enjoy. The room is airy with three windows and fans, but there is no air conditioning.
We are in a peaceful, pastoral setting with mountain views, yet the town of Rutland is only three miles away. There are great restaurants, cafes, shops, movie theater, The Paramount Theater and craft beer pubs.
  • Older house is charming and Spotless! Beautiful view . Fantastic value for the $$

  • Clean, cozy, and quiet.

    Bethany2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was an excellent host. Never had the chance to meet in person, my weekend schedule was very tight, but she provided all the necessities and clear instructions on where everything was. Loved the history and architecture of Harvest Moon. Loved reading about the relatively recent history of the Killington ski culture and the older history of settlement and the Green Mountains. Within a comfortable distance to Rutland, Mendon, Killington and Pico. Definitely a regional treasure, truly can't think of anything I would have changed.

    Nelson2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful room with nice antique furniture. Very quiet to sleep. All the charm of an old and well-maintained house. We have not met Susan but she was very accommodating to our changing schedule. Very nice stay.

    Sophie2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Susan thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your amazing property! We arrived late and were exhausted, so arriving to perfectly clear directions and an extremely comfortable bed was most welcomed. When we woke up in the morning, Susan was extremely flexible and friendly and accommodated our request (thank you again!). We feel so fortunate to have woken up to such beautiful views and great recommendation for a brunch spot! Also, our room was SPOTLESS and beautifully and uniquely decorated. We can’t say enough positive things about this property.

    Emily2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very special place, set in beautiful scenery, yet convenient to town. Very quiet. I would stay there again.

  • We had such a great stay at Susan’s home. She was quick with responses and so welcoming when we got there! The room was clean, and we were happy with everything especially the view from our room! It’s a great location because it’s only a 20 minute drive from the ski resorts. We can’t wait to go back next season! Thanks again, Susan!

The neighborhood is rural and quiet although just 10 minutes to Rutland and 20 to Killington. 5 minutes from Chittenden Reservoir or the Mountain Top Inn and Resort.

Tastefully renovated older mobile home, very clean and bright! Outside yard with gas grill and fire pit, wood included. Pet friendly with enclosed outside area for small/medium dogs right off the back porch. Washer/Dryer and fully stocked kitchen.
We purchased this older mobile home from a dear long time neighbor, hence the name, and renovated it in 2015. We did all the work ourselves so while not a professional remodel we are quite proud of it! It is a great place to kick back and relax and we think it is very comfortable. It has three bedrooms and the master has a memory foam queen mattress bed. The two smaller bedrooms have smaller single beds that are still quite comfortable. One of the smaller bedrooms also has a computer desk with an office chair and power/USB charging ports. High speed Wi-Fi is included with a Smart TV with excellent sound. There is no cable or broadcast TV although there is Netflix, etc. through the Smart TV and an Apple TV and a Chromecast for use. Decently stocked kitchen and feel free to use anything in the cupboards/frig for your meals/cooking, Keurig coffee maker.
Smaller street in a residential neighborhood that is a 5 minute walk to downtown Brandon. There you can enjoy food offerings ranging from pizza to French cuisine, a downtown pub, or a pastry at a great French bakery. The Green Mountain National Forest, Brandon Gap and the Long Trail are less than ten miles away.
  • Lovely hosts and a great location to do some exploring around Vermont!

    Jenna2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time on our trip this house was a delight. Incredibly clean, the hosts added thoughtful touches and we’re quick at responding. Would 100% stay again!

    Maya2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome host! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Tom and Alisa’s place if you’re in the area.

    Patricia2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed one night for a more business-oriented trip, but this WAS a cute hideaway and would have been fun to stay and enjoy Brandon, the cute backyard, etc. Alas, it was winter, but we had a very cozy night of restful sleep in a clean place complete with thoughtful local baked goods. Would stay again! Also, places to eat and shop are available, but we opted to travel 25 min to the Shoreham Inn and Pub for dinner and it was worth it :-)

    Jennifer2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Wow what a great stop, wish I could have stayed another night. The place was really close to town and near anything you need. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

    Michael2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had an extended stay at Tom’s place and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. Spacious, warm, and with a useful outdoor area for a pet. Perfect proximity to Brandon town as well getting north or south on the main highway. Tom was quick to answer any questions. Would stay again next time we are in Vermont without a doubt.

Curious about tiny home living!? This newly constructed 180 sq ft. house will let you experience comfort in charming farmhouse/cottage style. (Shiplap walls anyone?) Only 25 min to Killington, and 12 min from Mtn Top Inn, Downtown Rutland, or Brandon VT makes the location very convenient. Situated on over 2 acres of private back yard, overlooking beautiful Sugar Hollow Brook in the heart of Pittsford, Vermont. Walking distance to village general store, library and the Pittsford trail system.
Streamlined design and clever use of space makes for a comfortable and unique stay! (Warning: You will want one for your own backyard) The heat pump keeps things cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Lots of windows provide plenty of natural light and make the space feel open. Sleeping loft can be accessed by steep stairs and has a super comfy but supportive memory foam queen mattress. **If you are not comfortable with stairs and low ceiling height – this is NOT the place for you. Kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and everything you need to cook and eat in. (Oven requires a pilot light to be lit. Please contact me if you would like to use it and we will assist.) Dining table can host 2 people comfortably. Complimentary snacks, water, tea and coffee are provided. Firepit and Adirondack chairs will be in the yard for use seasonally.
The tiny house is located in the heart of a typical small Vermont village. People are friendly and the environment is very safe.
  • We had a great stay at the tiny home. It was close to the Mountaintop Inn where we were attending a wedding. The space is nicely designed, obviously on the smaller side, but has all amenities you need. Cool place!

  • Retha was extremely accommodating; her cozy tiny home had everything we needed for a long weekend. The house was equiped with all the necessary amenities. She also responded quickly and effectively in addition to providing suggestions on where to eat in the area. We are grateful for their space and will be back next time we go snowboarding.

    Shannon2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you would want in a tiny house experience! Great design and decor, super comfy loft bed. Great night sleep- so quiet and peaceful! It’s tiny but also feels like there’s more space than you would expect. Retha is a great host- quick to respond and makes your visit feel extra special. House is in a great location- close to numerous breweries (Drop In is our favorite) and restaurants- Hop n Moose and Table 24 were delicious! Mama Ts BBQ, totally informal but real time Texas BBQ. Skied at Pico Mountain, great option to avoid crowds of Killington. Also lots of snowshoeing trails near by.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to couples or individuals!

  • Gina was a very helpful and flexible host. We communicated with her numerous times before our stay as our plans changed, and she worked with us to make our stay fit our family’s needs. While this made extra work for her, she was cheerful and helpful throughout our interactions. Gina’s cottage is cute and quirky. From the funky chicken dining table to the handcrafted bathroom sink faucets, everything in the house has a unique touch. We cooked Christmas dinner in the house, and found the kitchen to be clean and very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Clean new towels were provided. We were warm and comfy. The bathroom was clean and really pretty. There were lots of little touches that show the host put lots of care into providing an interesting and enjoyable experience.

The place was much bigger than expected and I imagine could easily support 6 guests. Paula was very hospitable and went above and beyond. The local town is minutes away, and Killington is an easy drive. My only annoyance was the noise from the street, which I got over.

This turn of the century cabin just underwent a major renovation! Overlooking the mill pond with firepit and located in the middle of our maple sugaring operation on our private road, you'll enjoy hundreds of acres of private woods fields and trails for all types of winter recreation. Located less than 10 minutes from the Pico/Killington area, and just down the hill from Mtn. Top Inn. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
This cabin was originally located on our dairy farm near the edge of Chittenden pond as a summer guest cabin. In the 60's it was winterized and moved to the edge of our sugar woods as a ski rental for the exploding Killington Pico area. Demand shrunk, due to on mountain condos. It languished as a long term rental until last fall, when we revitalized and renovated the whole cabin's interior. New warm wide pine floors, exposed beams, log staircase, ceramic tile shower and a gas fireplace make this cabin cozy and comfortable. High speed internet, cable TV a new modern kitchen with Keurig machine, and hundreds of acres of forest and fields make this cabin unique.
Just 2 miles down to road from the wooden barrel country store, a great place for sandwiches and breakfast goodies! very near the Chittenden reservoir recreation area, close to major snowmobile trail access points. 10.5 miles from Killington Road, 8.5 miles from Pico ski area
  • Great rustic cabin with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Spent the days skiing and evenings with our dog tuck in front of the gas stove. Very relaxing in a quiet location. Hope to visit again sometime.

  • We had an excellent stay. The cabin was authentic and rustic. Very comfortable. Perfectly located between Killington and the Mountain Top Inn, both of which we needed access to. It was clean and tidy, with nice views of the farm and horses grazing. Jay has been very reachable and great at communicating about the reservation. He provided clear tips/directions on how to use the heat and TV (both very important!), and how to access the cabin upon arrival. They even offered local maple syrup to be purchased on site! Such a nice local touch. :) Thanks for a welcoming stay.

***SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR SPRING 2020: The Kingsley Mill is not a shared group space. It is exclusive to one party only. For the protection of our guests, ALL handrails, doorknobs, and commonly handled surfaces are disinfected between every reservation with ATTACK -A by Zep, the most widely used hospital disinfectant in the country. We are the epitome of "social distancing" and think we are the healthiest place to be right now. 2,800 square feet and four stories of The Kingsley Grist Mill's mind-bending architectural craftsmanship is your to enjoy. The master suite has a rattan & iron queen posted bed. The guest room has a plush posted early american antique double/queen bed and dresser and is home to a rare "crazy quilt" made in 1905. If needed or preferred, the third bedroom is created in the artists loft with a plush and comfortable queen folding sofa bed one additional flight up and just one level below the mill's 360 degree vista cupola. Among the treasured architectural features of the mill's 20th century rehabilitation are a six foot vintage Sparta, Georgia plaster ceiling medallion hand made and mounted by David Flaharty. David is one of America's most celebrated craftsmen having completed works for the U.S. Capital, White House, State Department and numerous Presidential libraries. His works are on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and in private collections throughout America. The tiles circumscribing the master suite bathroom were hand made in David Flaharty's studio and are exact castings from the elevator lobby of the famous Burnham & Root - Reliance Building, Chicago, Illinois. * Please note: The Kingsley Grist Mill is nearly 100 feet tall and will require that you are sufficiently ambulatory to climb stairs and one railed steep stairway to the cupola for viewing. * Our guests have spoken: Do not miss a chance to have DJ Ron spin some vintage vinyl on the most awesome sound system on Airbnb (included in your stay of two nights or more. One night stays must book concerts 48 hours before arrival ($35.00) . Credit cards accepted. This legendary studio monitor was custom built for Michael Jackson's lead guitarist and LA recording studio owner Phil "Float'n" Houghton, in 1974.
Although the KIngsley Grist Mill is only a half mile from the Rutland Regional airport, your stay, in the cathedral ceiling grain bin master suite, is set along one the most breathtaking undisturbed natural waterfalls and first generation pine forest stands in central Vermont, just outside the door to your private balcony. Just across our driveway is the entrance to the newly established A. Jeffry Taylor River Conservation and Clarendon Gorge Park. Hiking, biking, fishing and picture taking are only steps away. See our photo gallery for details and images. Located halfway between Killington and Okemo ski areas.
  • This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The mill is absolutely stunning. We didn't go out too much during our stay - we didn't want to! The space is magical. Sleeping right next to the river was so peaceful and the views from each floor are impressive. Ron and Linda are amazing hosts. They had great suggestions for places to eat for lunch and walking trails right around the mill. They also put together a super delicious breakfast. You have to ask Ron to do a vinyl concert for you! He is incredibly knowledgeable about music history and will wow you with the amazing sound system on the main floor. We had an outstanding experience. I can't wait to come back here in the summer!

  • We had a wonderful wintertime trip to the Kingsley Grist Mill. The setting is even more impressive than it looks in the pictures. Ron and Linda are incredibly interesting, generous people and went above and beyond to provide recommendations for things to see, do, and eat in the area, as well as arranging for us to stay an extra night when an ice storm interfered with our planned departure day. We really enjoyed the vinyl concert that Ron puts on, and the wonderful breakfasts! Ron and Linda's greyhound Sid is such a sweetheart and we loved spending time with him as well. We would highly recommend a stay here!

    Claire2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Ron ad Linda had excellent recommendations for local food. Though we had a lot of trouble with the wifi, our stay in this beautiful place was fulfilling. The breakfast was delicious too.

    Tom2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a truly unique and wonderful location, falling asleep to the sound of the river was very relaxing. Ron and Linda were wonderful hosts, full of information about the property and places to visit in the local area. We loved our stay.

  • Ron and Linda are excellent hosts, very responsive, helpful, and delightful to talk to. Our accommodations were really unique and very comfortable.

    Debbie2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely amazing stay at this incredible building at a most wonderful location. Everything was perfect with a lot of attention to detail. Our hosts Ron and Linda were very lovely in all regards and also created a delicious breakfast out of locally sourced products. They also gave us very helpful tips for our onward travels. Attention: please be aware that you might fall in love with their dog Sid.

    Alexander2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the Kingsley Grist Mill was one of our most relaxing Thanksgiving holidays. Aside from spectacular views, well-furnished rooms, and proximity to local places, it was Ron's and Linda's hospitality that made our holiday a truly memorable one. If you visit, check with Ron if he can show you his vinyl collection and put on a show. We were treated to some great music (Boston, Queen, etc.) and to some very interesting music history with which Ron was involved. We're definitely planning on visiting again, probably in the summer though. Thanks, Ron and Linda for making our stay ultra-comfortable !

    Balaraj2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Likely the best AirBnb in Vermont! Ron & Linda are such amazing hosts. From the collection of wonderful art & music to the comfy socks & sounds of mill river this is truly a one of a kind place to stay! Highly recommended!

Walking distance to downtown restaurants, bars, and farmers market. 3-bedroom apartment with private upstairs entrance - great for families or skii buddies! Close by to hiking trails, biking trails and skate park. Good location to get to Killington and Pico for winter fun! Your host, Sean, lives in the downstairs unit if you need anything. Otherwise, he will leave you alone so you can enjoy your stay and make yourself at home! Couples, families, or groups of any kind are welcome here.
Yes, there is a vinyl record player you can use! You can play anything from the large record collection (there is classical, rock n roll, disco, hip-hop, traditional, and EDM), or use the aux cord to play your own tunes. I love it when people can enjoy music and have fun with their friends, family, or significant other! I have a mini whiteboard I use for leaving a greeting/info so feel free to draw on it or write your own note to me! The air-bnb community is great - I didn't even mention doing this before and people had lots of fun with it on their own accord! The Table against the wall in the main room can fold out into a big table for your home cooked group meals. The boards to make it longer should be next to it against the wall.
Close to Georgetti park with hiking/ biking trails and a skatepark. If you like coffee, I recommend the Speakeasy coffee shop on Center street. If you like books, look for the Bookmobile Bookstore on Center Street. If you like local brews, try Hop n' Moose on center street (great pizza too). If you like local fresh food, try the Rutland Co-op and Roots Restaurant on Wales Street (Farmers Market on Saturday too.)
  • Stayed at Sean's place for the weekend for a skiing trip - great location and amenities for the value! Quick response time with a very cozy and unique apartment!

  • Super cozy and intimate place. Great location in Rutland and easy commute to Killington

    Alex2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I loved Sean’s BnB! There were so many quirky touches- the art, books, games. There is an amazing record collection too. It is a cozy space, super close to downtown Rutland and only 20 minutes from Killington. I would highly recommend, Sean is an excellent host!

    Alyssa2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying here while skiing at killington and pico. Quick and easy to the mountain, clean and nicely decorated, convenient and easy.

    Abraham2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sean's place is exactly what we were looking for: close to downtown, safe, and clean. In addition to the great spot, I would come back and stay in a heartbeat thanks to his wonderful attitude. We hope to see you on our next ski trip!

Located in Chittenden, VT, we are in the heart of the Green Mountains. We are just down the road from the Mountain Top Inn wedding venue and Cross Country Skiing Center. The apartment is an easy 15-20 minute drive to Pico and Killington ski areas. The suite is perfect for winter and summer adventuring or just a quiet get away in Vermont.
This cozy suite is attached to our 1850s farmhouse. You have your own entrance off of your private patio. The space includes 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a walk-in closet and a large bathroom with tiled shower. The sitting area is filled with sun and overlooks your patio. The kitchen area has a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. We supply flatware and dinnerware for your use.
We are just a short drive to Killington and Pico. Mountain Top Inn and Resort is just up the road from our home. In the summer, you may enjoy the beauty of Chittenden reservoir - a great place for swimming, fishing and boating (small motors only). In the winter, there is skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and tubing.
  • Doug and Cindy's place is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We stayed for a wedding at Mountain Top Inn and it was the perfect location! They left the suite immaculate and a welcome gift of "Worlds best english Muffins". I would recommend staying here to everyone. It is 10 minutes from Pico, 15 from Killington, 10 minutes from Rutland, and 1 mile from Mountain Top Inn. Doug and Cindy checked on us daily to make sure everything was taken care of as they were out of town and hired someone to shovel the walkway and driveway. Without a doubt, staying there again if we go to the area again!

    Frank2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a piece of heaven stay here. The apartment is country charming. Lots of room and very clean. The grounds are beautiful even in snow! Both Cindy and Doug were very gracious. Like all reviews Cindy’s banana nut bread is to die for. Hoping she will give us the recipe Being that it was Valentines they left us heart shape chocolate, small bottle of wine and beer. Breakfast consisted of fruit, yogurt, sweet bread, granola. We were supposed to go skiing on the Friday but it was just too cold. Doug made some suggestions on what to do in Middlebury for the day. If you stay here go to the Top of the Mountain for a sleigh ride and dinner. We definitely plan to go back just when it gets warmer then we can enjoy the outside patio and view of their grounds.

    Michele2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing retreat at Doug and Cindy’s. It was the perfect base for skiing at Killington. The apartment was private and very cozy full of amenities such as TV, puzzles, and amazing breakfast. Would definitely come back!

    Sanya2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Cindy and Doug’s place while in town for a wedding at The Mountain Top Inn & Resort. It was the perfect location and such a cozy space. The Mountain Top Inn was on the same road and just a short drive. The place was very clean and stocked with lots of breakfast foods and delicious homemade bread! We highly recommend you stay here if you find yourself in Chittenden!

    Meredith2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Cindy and Doug’s suite! The space was cozy and incredibly clean. It was also so convenient for skiing at Killington. Cindy and Doug were wonderful hosts - quick to respond to questions and even left us the most amazing homemade bread! We would definitely love to stay here again!

    Kat2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend stay at Cindy and Doug’s place. It was so close to the MountainTop Inn, the location of a wedding we were attending. The suite was even more spacious then we expected - very roomy and comfortable. The hospitality and personal touch of a gluten free banana nut bread and other amenities were such a nice surprise. It made us feel like we were visiting friends we didn’t know we had. Such a peaceful and relaxing trip! Would definitely stay again.

    Amy2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy and Doug have an absolutely wonderful spot! We stayed here while attending a wedding at the Mountaintop Inn; the location is PERFECT and just down the road from the inn. The Airbnb is super clean, comfy, and cozy with amazing touches like candles in the windows, a super comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. Cindy and Doug were so lovely to ask about dietary restrictions and provided breakfast nosh that fit my allergy. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Cindy and Doug!

    Amalia2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We are frequent travelers to the area and Cindy & Doug's home was top notch! Every thing we needed was there, it was clean and well decorated to give it a homey feel. Potential guests should be aware that this residence is in the country and some facilities/activity areas/restaurants/etc. will be a bit of a drive away. This is NOT a negative at all to us - it is what we look for in a stay. We certainly recommend staying here!

Seated on 650 acres of farm and woodland, this 1976 ranch provides the perfect spot to get away from it all in a clean quiet environment. This listing is for the rental of one of two rooms available. We are located three miles from town, and over a mile away from our nearest neighbors.
Hiking in the temperate seasons snow play and skating in the winter, this property abounds with trails, logging roads, and is within sight of Killington and Pico ski areas.
All of our neighbors immediate have feathers or fur. This morning we woke to a rafter of turkeys, 13 in all and sized from chic to Gobbler.
  • Marilyn and Michael were the most heartwarming Airbnb hosts we have ever met. They truly make you feel at home as if you were in the same family. Obviously, the beautiful artistic house, fresh breakfast, amazing view from the house, beautiful snow + weather, comfortable and clean bed and bedroom don't need much explanation. :)) Highly recommend it! You won't regret.

    Hangjae2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay for our ski weekend in Killington. Marilyn and Michael are superb hosts with a very welcoming home. They were accommodating for our Friday night arrival and provided excellent communication and direction. The bedroom is very comfortable and their home is stylish and cozy. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

    Karla2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay at the quiet place. I stayed here for a ski weekend. It is only 30 minutes to Killington, 30 minutes to Okemo 50 min from lake George, and nestled in a quiet part of town 10 min from west Rutland. This area has restaurants, markets, and activities that are more authentic than the overcrowded Killington area. Marilyn and Michael are also excellent hosts and are a pleasure to chat with. I would definitely stay again.

    Emily&Titus2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • It was the best AirBNB experience as I have stayed at many places over the years. The place was serene and beautiful especially during fall foliage. Marilyn and Mike were caring and helpful and would interact with guests and share stories. They even provide delicious breakfast. I felt very safe and welcomed there. Thank you so much.

    Karin2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • This place is heaven on earth. Everything was perfect. Marilyn and Michael are truly wonderful persons with amazing stories to share. Me and my friend was there for the Killington Spartan Ultra and they made us feel like home. We tasted different local products wich was absolutely delicious. Definitively my best airbnb experience. I would highly recommend this place.

    Eloi2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough good things about Marilyn and Michael. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in their home. The property is peaceful and secluded, yet only about 15 mins from downtown Rutland. Marilyn provided us breakfast each morning (she even took my diet restrictions into account), and gave us great recommendations about things to do in the area. But that being said, I think our favorite parts of the trip were spent right on the property. Nothing beats stargazing on the lawn, and waking up to those mountain views. Marilyn and Michael have such a special place - we truly didn't want to leave!

    Abby2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Marilyn and Michael are world travelers that have amazing life experiences to share. They are very knowledgeable about the local area as well. You could not ask for more hospitable hosts.

    Frank2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Marilyn and her husband were excellent hosts. Not only was the house clean and comfortable, but they went out of their way to provide a breakfast spread and great coffee! Definitely a great place to stay, and look forward to it again!

  • Youn’s place is exactly what I wanted- a super CLEAN (I have high standards), comfortable, and private location that is close to town and an easy drive to the ski mountains. The pictures of this place are spot on- and youn’s thoughtful touches made our visit exceed expectations. Thanks for the complimentary breakfast (bagels/cc) and for sharing your space with my family! It is obvious you care very much about this place and your guests that stay in it! We will cherish our memories and be back the summer to take advantage of this awesome location for summer hiking!

    Eric2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Youn was very hospitable and helpful. Killington and Pico area's are only about 25 min away. Very clean and spacious. Amazing views and town is only 15 min down the street. Will definitely come again. THANK YOU!!

    Melissa2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Youn is very accommodating and the place was beautiful. Will definitely be back again !

    Zac2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Booked within 2 weeks of our dates and the process with youn was as easy as it gets. When we pulled up it was already after dark and youn was considerate enough to have the exterior lights on so it was . When we walked in the chalet, the stove was light up like a Christmas tree. Exactly how you’d want to walk into, especially after a 4 hour drive. The inside was neat, clean and cozy. Youn left us some provisions in the fridge (bacon, organic eggs, bagels and some fruit too) which was great on the morning we went skiing. Had all the pots pans and silverware to have a feast. There was a great variety of board games to play and books to read. The beds were annoyingly comfortable (that’s a wonderful feature for a bed). Was only a 30 minute drive to killington ski slopes. The place is about 10-15 mins from gas, food and shopping. Overall we enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning and wondering about the 37 acres.

    Kenny2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Youn’s house is the perfect quote getaway for a Vermont ski trip. Very close to Rutland but very private space as well. Awesome for up to 3 couples as it has 3 beds. Internet was very good and fireplaces worked great. Youn offered organic fruit and a personalized note. I hope I can stay with Youn again for a trip next year.

    David2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances I wasnt able to stay but He was very understanding and offered credit to a future stay. Didnt have to do that but integrity wins. Go with Youn!

  • Quaint wooden cottages on a vineyard setting give visitors a taste of a by-gone time, while still having access to mod-cons. WiFi wasn’t available in the cabins but there was a full 4g signal and WiFi in the main building. Lovely evenings looking up at a vast clear sky free of any light pollution. Free wine tastings offering some truly interesting wines which can be purchased on site. The hosts are very hospital and our kids had a ball swimming and playing games!

  • Cozy little cabins in a rustic setting. Calm and quiet.

    Phillip2018-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute cabins. Very clean and quaint, located on a lovely property. The pool looked very inviting, however it was a rainy weekend. We were allowed early check-in and late check-out. Would love to go back for some wine tasting and the Vermont fall offerings. Bonus++ pets are welcome!

  • My plans changed and I didn't end up staying but the place is very easy to find, close to shopping and restaurants. Hosts were very understanding when my flights were cancelled and my arrival was delayed significantly, and they also provided a multitude of recommendations for dining and things to do.

    Maria2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Philip's place was a nice and easy home base for our ski weekend at Killington. The space was big enough for a group to spread out gear and relax after days on the slopes. The location was ideal for walking into downtown for a bite and a beer. I would definitely stay there again.

    Karla2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, had everything we needed. Very easy to check in and out

    Jim2020-02-01T00:00:00Z

  • Nice cozy apartment close to killington!

    Andrew2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing trip! The place was very clean and the host was very responsive and quick when we had questions about the town or the apartment itself. We traveled about 45/50 min to Bromley Mountain, 15 min to Pico Mountain, 25 min to Killington Mountain for skiing. It was in a great location!! It’s also in walking distance to Walmart and an adorable downtown area. Would highly recommend for small groups looking to go skiing for a reasonable price to stay and would definitely visit again!

  • Philip's apartment was excellent for our 4 person vacation to Killington for skiing. We enjoyed having a kitchen and the place felt spacious. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed. Would stay again.

My place is nestled on a private road on Lake Bomoseen in the the Lakes Region of beautiful Vermont. We are within 50 minutes from Killington, Pico, and Okemo mountains. Close to Castleton State University, you’ll love the cozy, private, one room guest cottage that awaits you with your very own lake front sitting area a short distance from the bungalow. Use my kayaks or bring your own; dock space available for small boats. Boat rental is an option at a local marina.

  • Jennifer’s place was perfect for a Killington ski weekend. We had a large group but the house made it feel like we all had our own space. The woodstove was a great surprise. Unbelievable views surround the property. Would highly recommend for large groups looking for a weekend getaway. Jennifer is super quick to respond and definitely made me feel like if we needed her, should we help. Overall a great Airbnb.

  • This is a great place to stay at if you are visiting Vermont. My friends and I came here for a weekend to go snowboarding at Killington. Its a 30 min drive from there and there is so much space for a large group. Everyone got their own beds, the bathrooms were not overcrowded, and the living room and dining room was great to relax in after a long day outside. Would love to come back here next time we visit Vermont.

    Sameer2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely home that easily accommodated 7 adults, and could have had more guests with us and been comfortable. Close to skiing and not as expensive as other locations nearby. Also liked the fact that neighbors were not close by, offering privacy. Host was very responsive with questions at all times during the day. Will definitely go back to this location.

Relocated years ago from the main farm to our maple woods. This barn has just been refurbished, with a cozy warm atmosphere. You will see only forest as you look out the windows but are within a few miles of Rutland. 20 minutes to Killington base, 10 to Pico. The harness from the last pair of workhorses my great grandfather drove on the farm hangs on the wall. The floors are those the horses walked on 100 years ago. Enjoy 250 acres of fields forest, a fire pit and pond for skating or swimming.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to cook for your crowd. Couches and comfy chairs surround the vt castings gas stove in the living room. The whole downstairs is open and ready for your gathering. Go out the door and explore our maple woods there are a few pairs of snowshoes in the shed if you are feeling adventurous!
The "neighborhood' Is our private farm. the horse barn is located in the middle of our maple sugaring operation, so be sure to take home some of our maple syrup, available at the house. The city of Rutland is 6 miles away. Grocery stores, wine and liquor outlets etc. Several country stores also 2-4 miles away.
