  • We had a really great time staying here. Howard was a great host and was very chatty and knowledgeable about the area. The man defo knows a good curry house when he sees one! Once we were settled though we were left completely to our own devices until it was time to leave the next day. Even though the cabin and hot tub is very close to the house the privacy screen made it feel well cosy. Thank you very much Howard. All the best for the future. James and Frankii x

3 bed holiday home -max 6, Lido Beach, lovely secure park, picturesque location, 2 min walk beach. Base for family fun or a quiet hideaway. 5 mins town centre, restaurants, stores, 24 hr Tesco. Large Nova Leisure centre swimming pool, popular with families. Free bus to Robin Hood. Country pubs & restaurants close by. Kitchen, large multi-channel TV, shower, WIFI - signal can be weak- great in coffee shop/reception. 5 mins Prestatyn station (easy links) own private parking.
NOTE: During month of June, I was forced to close the home due to unavoidable circumstances. All 20+ reviews for the hosting have been positive. I did explain to the 3 guests personally and they were very understanding due to a breaevement. All amenities for a comfortable stay in this well kept, clean & modern caravan. 2 double and 2 single beds (great for kids) Great location for beach lovers and walks. Robin Hood Club a few minutes ride away has everything for a kids holiday & daily/weekly passes are available on site reception. Restaurants, pubs are short walk. Enjoy lunch in the hotels overlooking the sea. The busy town of Rhyl with shopping centres and more leisure facilities makes for an ideal short trip whilst the holiday home is a great getaway for enjoying quiet nights back on site. Wales has everything. Choose to totally unwind or an action packed week. I treat it as a retreat to think and plan projects on the long walks on the beach. I love the castles, countryside and historical sights of Wales. Children love it too as it is an adventure when staying in a caravan home and there is so much to do in the area. New Nova Centre next to the site is now open for swimming etc and there is often a large fun fair a short walk away. Local hotel is popular for events and weddings and does a great Sunday roast.
The beach park is beautifully maintained with established gardens and lovely homes. Being located 2 mins from the beach is fantastic. If you want social action in the pubs and bars close to the park or a quiet romantic getaway, the choice is yours.
  • Not Luxurious but certainly fair accommodation in a lovely spot near the beach. Perhaps it would be a little cramped for a full 6 people. Sara was very helpful and it was a nice touch to leave a few supplies in the caravan

    tim2016-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great short break in Yvonnes lovely caravan. Very cosy with everything you need to relax. Short walk to the beach, my two little doggies absolutely loved it. The welcome goodies & milk is a great touch. Excellent communication. I highly recommend ( except the dates when I want to go back next year haha) Thanks Yvonne xx

  • Good value accomodation

    christian2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Superb location! Everything you need is in the walking distance. Especially beautiful beach~ Kids loved staying in caravan. There are many things to play with in the caravan. (toys, board games, a ball etc.) Yvonne is a very caring person. She tried her best to make sure we stay in her caravan happy. Thanks, Yvonne!

    sohee2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very good communication with Sara, only minor issue when we arrived, but Sara has been very responsive and fix everything promptly. The caravan is clean, everything functioning, well equipped. Sara even left us some food. Regarding the surroundings, in our opinion, quite limited number of activities for the kids in the caravan park (but we have a limited experience with Uk caravan parks and we were there in March which does not help but there was a playground and two sports field) and walking distance from the beach. The caravan is in front of one trash collection point but it's not as bad as it's sounds. Wi-Fi signal is very challenging but there is some. So no issue with the home/location.

    yannick2016-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • It was perfect , we spent a fabulous time , the caravan was clean and ready from everythings Neighbors were lovely and helping I wish to come again another time

    najwa2016-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Sara's communication before we set off was excellent. She also left lots of supplies such as toiletries, basic food items, cereals and even a supply of goodies. If you are looking to visit Prestatyn then I would have no hesitation recommending this caravan.

    Prestatyn, United Kingdom

Conveniently located in the town centre of Prestatyn, a long-standing Welsh seaside resort, just a stone's throw from the train/bus station, with shops, restaurants + pubs but 1 minute away, a bar on the premises, and a 5-minute walk to the beach or hills, for a great stay for 2 or up to 3/4, in a clean, fresh, newly-refurbished apartment with parking, look no further =)
As the name suggests, Vale View Apartment offers a great view of the Vale of Clwyd at Prestatyn. The apartment is on the top (2nd floor, reached by stairs and lift) in the town's most iconic building, the former Victoria Hotel (1897), conveniently situated a short walk from the station for train travellers and offering a small car park at the rear for drivers, as well as plenty of free street parking all around. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: The apartment itself is a 1-bed self-contained flat with a standard double bed ready made up in the bedroom and a folding single bed for extra guests, which can be set up in the lounge. The 6 foot-long leather sofa in the lounge can also be slept on by extra guests, so at no extra costs, the flat can sleep up to 4 if guests choose. We also offer a folding travel cot for babies, as well as feeding/changing facilities, and a dog bed and bowls for well-behaved pets. THE TOWN The High Street and Parc Prestatyn are a minute's walk away when you take a right out of the building, and continuing further in this direction there are mountainside walks (Offas Dyke) offering great views across the Vale. Turn left out of the building and walk 5 minutes down the road and you'll hit the beach and the Wales Coast Path. It couldn't be better placed!
Whether your stay is for work or play, Prestatyn provides something for everyone. Nestled in the Vale of Clwyd - a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ in the foothills of the Snowdonia - to the South is the backdrop of the Clwydian range, and the mountains of Snowdonia itself can be seen to the East. To the North is our award-winning beach, a massive expanse of sand and sea with a dune walk as far and beyond as Talacre to the East, with its lighthouse made famous by the Dulux Adverts. To the West the well maintained promenade takes walkers and cyclists along the seafront as far as Rhyl Harbour. The town itself has seen a surge of investment recently so whether it’s the latest fashion or a locally-made souvenir, you can find it at our modern new retail park at the bottom of the unique and traditional High Street, with its own digital (3D) multi-screen cinema (established 1913) amidst artisan shops and global cuisine from the Asian of Rasam’s Spice, the Americana of Subway, to the British traditional of Tudor House and Kim's Kitchen. And we should add the award-winning Suhail and swanky Paanshee as well as the seaside-staple of Karl’s Chippy, are close enough for guest to literally stumble to, and if you don’t even want to leave your room there are plenty of Turkish takeaways and Pizza deliveries on offer too! For those wanting to see what the rest of North Wales offers, world-famous Welsh Castles are on the doorstep with Rhuddlan, Conwy and Caernarvon just a short drive down the A55, on the way passing the Spa town of Llandudno (with its famed vista of Victorian and Edwardian hotels) and the University town of Bangor (and for those who remember the 70s, didn’t we have a lov-er-ley time!). And for those with time to venture further, the Mother of Wales, ‘Ynys Môn’, otherwise known as the Isle of Anglesey, takes you as for as the road goes. Medieval history and timeless landscapes aside, animal lovers are provided for too with the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colywn Bay and Puffin Island off the Menai Strait. If it’s action you’re after, you’ll find the world’s fastest and Europe’s longest zip line at Zip World in Bethesda, flying above the unbeatably bouncy experience of trampolining in the rainbow-lit slate caverns of Blaenau Ffestiniog-based Bounce Below. While Prestatyn offers a genteel nightlife of pubs and wine bars (from the Victoria's own public bar on the ground floor to the William Morgan, Archie’s/Lola’s and Bar 236 ) and restaurants (from the family-friendly Cook House at one end of the High Street to the old world romance of La Ricetta at the other, via the utterly charming Chynna Garden in the centre), if you’re looking for city-style nightlife, Chester and its famed Tudor Rows are just over half an hour away. And if you have to work during your stay, then the metropolises of Manchester and Liverpool are within an acceptable commute for experienced city workers. So: seaside, check; countryside, check; shopping, check; history, check; wildlife, check; activities, check; nightlife, check; city commuter-belt, check. And we think you’ll agree, that’s why Prestatyn is a pretty perfect destination!
  • William and his wife Lyz are more than accommodating hosts. They immediately made us feel welcomed into their apartment and were more than happy to be at the end of the phone if we needed anything throughout our stay. The apartment itself was great. It is exactly as described and is a 5 minute walk away from the beech which is an added bonus.

    Lisa2016-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you are walking the Offa's Dyke path, I highly suggest finishing with a couple of nights here, as it is really nice to have a place to yourself to totally relax after so many days of walking. Some of the guide books say that Prestatyn is an anticlimactic end to the walk, but we found the shops lovely, the sand soft, and the sunsets over the rising tides a perfect way to end. Also, they have a nice clean bathtub which is great for aching limbs! Beautiful wood floors, nice view of the hills you just climbed, and great location.

    Jamie2016-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't have had a better stay than I had at William and Lyz's! The flat was huge, quiet, and comfortable. Being directly across from the train station and just a short walk to the beach, it really is convenient to anywhere else in North Wales, Chester, Liverpool, or Manchester. The high street is literally right there, and just a short walk from that is a stretch of Offa's Dyke Path, which affords an excellent view of Prestatyn and the sea.

  • Reservation was canceled but host had good communication

  • William arrived promptly to let us into the apartment and show us around. He helped us with everything from local resaurants and shops to the beach. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was beautiful and modern, not to mention absolutey spotless. As for the area it was beautiful with a gorgeous sandy beach and rolling hills around. The location was in walking distance to everything you would want. We liked it that much we will be returning in the summer. There was a train station across the road but we honestly never heard a thing!

    Abbie2016-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very enjoyable stay here! the home was immaculate, the hosts were beyond accommodating to our needs and schedule, and the location was very central! We wished we could have stayed longer, thanks again! Ps- beautiful beach sunsets and a visit to nearby Conwy castle and the Rhyl - Dyserth waterfall are musts!

  • Pepe was very friendly, hospital and offers useful advices of places to see and eat. The accomodation was clean, spacious and tidy. Pepe also provided healthy breakfast. I would recommend this accomodation to other guests.

  • Héctor and Pepe were very polite and gave us a warm welcome. The Place was very nice and clean. We had everything we needed and had an excellent stay. We would totally recommend It!

  • This appartment was perfect for a holiday down to Wales with everything you need at hand and one of the most comfortable beds in existence. Really nice and caring hosts that were always there to help. Pepe was even kind enough to give us a lift to the train station instead of waiting for a bus in the rain. I would recommed this appartment to anyone wanting a nice stay in the north of Wales.

    David2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here with my daughter and our dog for three nights while visiting family and friends. Pepe was a wonderful and friendly host who made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. The flat was spotlessly clean and provided all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend a stay here!

    Rebecca2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding in the area. The flat is extremely comfortable and well-equipped with cooking equipment, toiletries, towels and everything else I could possibly have needed. Bread, milk, tea and coffee, cereal, jam and marmalade were even provided so that we could make breakfast! The beautiful coastline is only a half-hour walk or a few minutes' drive away, and there are good walking and bus connections into the town centre. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this flat if you're looking for a warm and friendly welcome and an excellent place to stay.

    Alexander2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a hidden gem! We loved the accommodation - so pretty and stylish. Pepe was very helpful and a perfect host. We had our two dogs with us who were welcomed in the same way we were. Would recommend highly.

  • Diane is a lovely host and very welcoming. Canterbury Cottage is just a beautiful place to stay - we had everything we needed und would absolutely stay there again - highly recommended :)

    Lisa 2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Diane's place is simply beautiful! Cosy, peaceful and really homely. Location is perfect for trips to many lovely places nearby, we visited Ruthin castle as a suggestion. Diane's attention to detail is fantastic and she went above and beyond to fulfill a task of scattering rose petals right through the cottage and a single red rose on the bed to surprise my girlfriend.... really personal service which was massively appreciated and a beautiful cottage which we couldn't recommend more highly.

    Daniel2017-01-02T00:00:00Z

This detached house is very convenient for anyone attending a conference at Pontins but who wants more private and quality accommodation. Also for visits by the seaside, exploring beautiful north Wales or walking the Offa's Dyke long distance path. Sorry but we are not suitable for young children.
The double and twinbedded rooms are light and airy, with beautiful views of the surrounding area.
  • Anne and Michael were very warm and generous hosts, offering suggestions of where to visit in the area and making us feel very welcome. The house was very convenient to the conference we were attending at Pontins. The facilities were adequate for our needs, although probably fairly simple and basic compared to other Airbnb homes we have stayed in. Anne provided breakfast each morning with a smile and was happy for us to use the kitchen and sitting room as we pleased.

    Tina2017-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Anne is a very kind host. Considering that we'd driven a couple of hours with a small child, Anne had tea and cake waiting to welcome us as a respite from our long journey. Everything in her home is open and welcoming and friendly - we were invited to use the lounge and kitchen and even store our baby food in the freezer. The morning breakfast is a feast. Unfortunately, due to baby illness, we had to cut our stay short, but Anne was helpful and thoughtful and so concerned for us. The house is in a wonderful location, close to the seaside with ample parking. Her home felt like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. If we hadn't needed to go so soon, we would've really enjoyed the weekend there.

    Quentin2015-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Anne & Michael for a lovely welcome, interesting stories and a walk around town. Nice breakfast too :)

  • Amazing view from my room with beach and ocean across the road! Beautiful house, convenient location, friendly hosts with lots of local knowledge who make you feel right at home. Prestatyn has lots of amenities including a great library. There are many attractive walks in the area (including the beach which goes for miles). It's easy to take day trips for example to Chester and Llandudno.

    Sue2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Anne's house is a large detached property on the seafront road in Prestatyn, near the holiday camp. Anne and her husband are interesting to chat to and extremely welcoming and offer flexibility with check-in/out times which suits me well. Rooms are big and furnished appropriately. It is very clean, tidy and spacious.

    David 2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Anne and Michael were so flexible and welcoming. We showed up later than we anticipated, but they were not fussed and gave us a lovely warm welcome after our long drive. They were also very relaxed about us coming back late from a wedding the following evening. We were very well looked after, with a great breakfast and plenty of tips about how to make the most of our stay. Thank you!

    Nicholas2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Anne's beautiful old house is right there by the sea, at the 'official' start or, in my case, the end of the Offas Dyke Path. A great place to end up. Anne and Michael, in their own special way, are wonderful hosts. Recommended!

    Mike2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Anne and Michael were great hosts. We were hungry upon arrival so Michael and I went out and got some fish and chips. Michael even entertained us on the guitar before bedtime. Then he fixed us a traditional English breakfast before leaving in the morning. Quiet, clean...great photos on the beach.

  • We loved our stay in Anthony's home! We arrived to a spotlessly clean home that had been newly and beautifully refurbished. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of fluffy towels in the bedrooms. Doors in the kitchen lead onto a decking area, with a lovely outside area that was great for our toddler to run around in and play with balls and bubbles. We were privileged to be the first airbnb guests in this home, and we would highly recommend it!

This is an easy going home, by the beach. The Welsh Coastal path is at the end of the road. Idea for walking situated at the end of Offa's Dyke. Some guests use it as a great base to explore our wonderful surroundings, there is always lots to do. The A55, and Clwydian Hills (an area of outstanding natural beauty) are a 10 minute drive away. Conwy and Llandudno can be reached in 30 minutes, and Betws y Coed and Snowdonia can be reached in about an hour with Snowdon itself an hour and a half.
This is a double room at the front of the bungalow(a house on one level)with ample storage space of wardrobe and chests of drawers, as well as a comfortable double bed. You have the use of a TV and a table and chairs, wireless internet too.
This is a quiet residential area with mainly retired people. The area is very popular with dog walkers, with it being on the edge of the sand dunes where it is safe to let them off. A two minute walk and you are walking on the coastal path which follows round the whole of the Welsh coast. This is a great place to watch the sunset. Cyclist love it here with miles of traffic free cycling.
  • It's a lovely little house close to the amazing beach in Prestatyn. The room is very clean although a little cold. If you have a car it's perfect, but if you're on foot it's a little far from central Rhyl. They have a bicycle you can borrow though. The hosts are really nice and thoughtful. They're happy to suggest things to do and do their best to make you feel comfortable. I was sick when I stayed and they put out some medicine for me which was really sweet! They also have really sweet dogs, although they can be a bit loud if you come in late at night. Overall a great stay!

  • Big, clean room right on the coastal path in Prestatyn - great coastal route to cycle right round to Llandudno. My Snowdon less than an hour away so Olga's was a great base for that as well. Olga very helpful, a definite

A lovely rental static caravan at Lyons Lido Beach, North Wales. On mainline train station from Chester to Holy head. Close to town with all the shops you would need for your stay. Off road parking next to accommodation, outside eating area on decking, No smoking, No pets. 5 mins walk to sandy beach and a lovely hilly back drop.
  • Excellent keenly priced and well equipped holiday home. Just a couple of minutes from the beach and a short drive to many of the regions other attractions and wonderful countryside. Prestatyn has good local shopping facilities and excellent restaurants on or just off the high street; which are terrific value for money. I would recommend the accommodation and location to anyone wishing to explore or just have a relaxing time in North Wales.

My place is close to Prestatyn beach on the North Wales Coast with lovely walks. The town centre and beach are within 2 km. with trains to Llandudno, Chester and Rhyl. A local bus stop is 5 mins away. You’ll love my place because of the comfy beds, the modern kitchen, the high ceilings and the breathtaking British countryside views!!!. My place is good for couples, single female adventureres, travellers, families (with kids). Alcohol and pork is not allowed on the premises. Owner is an occupant.
It is a large traditional British house with spacious living area. A conservatory adds to the available seating available. The kitchen is well equipped and is attached to the living room.
My house is on a residential main street leading into Prestatyn town. There is no built up area opposte the house thus affording uninterrupted views of the lovely Welsh countryside.
  • The host is lovely and welcoming. The house is spacious with wonderful views of the vale of clwyd

  • The place is great, even though our stay was just for a night we really loved it. The house is very beautiful with its antique furniture's and great location. We were late for our check in but Sarvari was very understanding and welcomed us. We are literally planning our next visit to North Wales again. And looking forward to stay at her place for a longer duration.

    Ann Mary 2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Savari was very welcoming and gave you privacy the hour if that I was there. The kitchen was very filthy and unhygienic and the bed linen, top cover was heavily soiled and the white bed linen sheets were covered in black biro and a smal black hair was found. There was alsa stack of dead flies under the glass kitche table. I ended up leaving with my ten year old nephew with nowhere else booked on a friday evening in August as I was that desperate to leave. I was still charged £15 cleaning fee which I am awaiting which I find a joke. Woul rather sleep in my car than here.

    Sam2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sarvari was a delightful hostess that provided us with a spacious room in a very beautiful house. The kitchen was easy to cook in and had room for our food in the fridge, with free use of the milk and butter. The conservatory was lovely, but cold for the time of year we stayed. Sarvari's place is a 20 min walk from the city center, and is right nearby such lovely walks. Overall, we had a great time, and appreciated Sarvari ' s bountiful kindness.

Cartref Barn is a delightful recent luxury renovation with 3 en-suite bedrooms nestling down a quiet country lane in beautiful countryside. Just 3 miles from the beach in Prestatyn yet next to the Offa's Dyke path. Great for exploring North Wales and Cheshire
A modern barn conversion with outdoor space offering a luxurious holiday destination in North Wales. Bed linen and towels included.
We're in a peaceful wooded location that feels like the middle of nowhere. But the seaside town of Prestatyn is a mere 3 miles away and the Offa's Dyke path is on our doorstep for fabulous walks and trails. Within 30 miles we have the mountains of Snowdonia and castles a plenty. There are some amazing local restaurants and hostelries for you to enjoy the local cuisine and locally brewed ales! The best shopping is in the beautiful Roman city of Chester across the border in England only 30 minutes away.
  • Beautiful house, beautiful location, everything we could have wanted or needed was on hand. Paul and his family (and lovely Enzo) were by far the most welcoming and helpful hosts you could ever wish to meet. If I'm ever in north wales again I will be returning and will reccomend! Thank you Paul!

  • What a beautiful home in such a grand location! The house is immaculate and faultlessly decorated to a high specification. Our hosts Paul, Trudy and Mollie were genuinely wonderful wonderful people. We came as a group of 6 to celebrate my husbands birthday. Trudy baked a cake!! With two fine bottles of prosecco in the fridge and a card. How lovely! The converted barn boasts of a real life log fire and the master bedroom is divine. We will most definitely come back to Paul and Trudy's home for the beautiful scenery, fresh air, the giant trampoline , the summer BBQ and to see our great hosts again. Thanks so much Paul and Trudy!

  • We had a great stay at the Barn with our 3 adult/teenage children. The rooms were superb and the whole house very well equipped. We were made very welcome and it is very convenient location for travelling in to Prestatyn where we were at a conference. The Barn is lovely and in a beautiful secluded setting. Highly recommended.

  • This was our first family holiday and we visited Trelawnyd for the first time (we have been to different parts of Wales before). We were welcomed by Paul and his family on a wonderful sunny day, the house was even better than the pictures and the surroundings area beautiful! We were welcomed with a few treats in the kitchen and a bottle of Prosecco. Paul was kind enough to show us around the house and give us some tips about the area. The rooms are very modern and stylish but the best part of the house is the log fire! Paul mentioned the bats in the loft but we never saw or heard them. We were very fortunate to find out that there was an air show in the neighbouring town and we could see the last Vulcan flight over Wales and the Red Arrows from a hill a short walk from the house. We saw few rabbits, a couple of eagles and a sweet cat wondering around the house grounds. The Beach is a very short distance, and it takes about an hour drive to Snowdon. There are various places to eat, we tried the local Prosperity Chinese takeaway-big portions and very very yummy. We would love to visit again :) and would definitely recommend to our friends.

  • My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paul's. Paul and his lovely wife, Trudy, were very warm and very welcoming. The great experience started even before we arrived when Paul suggested the best train to take from London and also a car hire location. Upon arrival, Paul was there waiting to welcome us in their lovely home which I must say exceeded our expectations in terms of the wonderful location (nestled in a small forest!), the Interior and the furnishings (thanks to Trudy's tastefulness) and the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the house. All the amenities one would ever need, let alone think of, were neatly tucked in where they belonged. If it wasn't for holiday time constraints, we would have stayed longer- tempted by the cake making set and the lovely fireplace to say the least. Paul suggested great places to visit during our stay and they were all excellent recommendations; we really enjoyed them all. Finally, our experience was truly wonderful and we are already looking forward to our next visit (hopefully soon). Thank you Paul, Trudy and family for everything. You are truly great hosts! Shaker

  • A lovely vaca spot for anyone looking for a springboard lication for many of the North Wales attractions and scenery. The apartment was well presented and clean. Very homey and warm. This location would suit a couple rather than a family as the pullout made the bottom floor very cramped. Although there was bo microwave for any takeout reheats the facilities were more than adequate. A definate recommendation as a couple get away

  • Alex's place is perfectly situated for a private, relaxing weekend break. So clean and comfortable you cannot help but feel the relaxation wash over you as soon as you arrive. We were so sad to leave. A cosy house, with a caring host.

  • Alex's place is the perfect if you're looking for a relaxed weekend away from it all. The house is equipped with everything you'd need, it's a real home from home. The bed is the most comfortable we've slept in (and we love our own bed!). We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our weekend away - we plan to be back in the near future! Top Tip - visit the New Inn Pub, its lovely and the food is outstanding! Might be best to book at the weekend. Thanks again Alex! Kate & Louis

  • Alex's place was a wonderful escape from life in the fast lane. The cottage was fantastic and had everything you needed to enjoy a relaxing stay. Alex was only a call or message away but left you to enjoy your holiday otherwise. The setting of the cottage was nice too, on a quiet street 2 minutes walk from the centre of the village. The people in the village were extremely friendly also as I had dog walkers and cyclists saying good morning as I drove by in the car. I would definitely stay again as the value for money was fantastic; castles, waterfalls, supermarkets, sea fronts and much more only a few minutes drive away. And after you have finished your day of exploring the beautiful country of Wales, you can retreat to a wonderfully comfy bed to dream about what the next day will bring.

She made us feel very welcome and opened her beautiful home to us with professionalism and care. It was a delight to stay there. We will return!

  • Even if we've booked quite late, around 9p.m., Christine responded quickly and was very helpful. The room and the view are up to expectations and the area is very quiet and safe. Will definitely book again as is perfectly located for exploring North Wales, the room is immaculate and the price is more than convenient.

This room is on the ground floor, having a view of the river estuary / Irish Sea and has an en-suite with bath and a walk in shower. The bedroom has a super king size bed with a TV and sitting area with french windows on to the decking.
  • Paul and Barbara made us feel very welcome in their warm, cosy home. Our bed was a super kingsize, in a lovely big bedroom with a new shiny ensuite. The view from the room was stunning. We were walking the Welsh Coast path and we were in an ideal position to do this.

A double bedroom in a three bedroom house close to Rhyl town centre and all local amenities. Situated approximately 5 / 10 min walk into town centre and seafront so excellent location if you fancy exploring.
Recently redecorated double bedroom with double bedroom, the room is bright and airy and overlooks the rear garden. I would describe the house and the room as modern but still very homely.
We live in a quiet cul de sac on the edge of Rhyl town centre close to local amenities, attractions and excellent transport links. Easy access by car to the a55 wherever you wanting to travel, snowdonia for walking or Chester for shopping it's all easily accessed from here.
  • I can't recommend James and his partner Andy highly enough! They made me feel extremely welcome and even drove me to and from my rehearsal! The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable and everything I needed was provided. The house is in a quiet cu-de-sac and a short walk from the centre of Rhyl and the sea front. As people both James and Andy were very relaxed and friendly and made me feel immediately at ease. Very happy to stay in their lovely house and they made my stay in Rhyl a very pleasant one.

  • It was such a wonderful 6 days spent in Rhyl with two fantastic hosts who made us feel not only welcome, but at home. If you are visiting room, I would highly recommend getting in touch!

  • James (and Andrew) made me feel very welcome in their lovely home. The room was lovely and comfortable and warm, and their home itself is also gorgeous, spotless and welcoming. Location wise this is great and is a really short walk into town. Its also close to the theatre which was where I was performing at the time. James was a perfect host and went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating around my late night schedule. He picked me up from the theatre late at night so I didn't have to struggle with my bags, and dropped me off at the train station too. He also offered to cook me food on a few late night occasions - such a lovely man. Both James and Andy were also hugely accommodating of my little dog, and we even went out for a walk together with their own gorgeous dog Harry.

  • I had a great stay. The guys were very helpful. They picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. The place was neat and comfy. There was great wifi and cable. Everything you need is within walking distance.

If you enjoy the great outdoors, nature and walking then you should love our place. It is in a quiet village in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd. Our place is good for couples (perfect for 4 friends/2 couples) and adventurers looking to explore North Wales. Sorry no children under 12 and no pets. We have 2 double bedrooms in total (please be aware no additional guests can be accommodated in these rooms). The 2 guest bedrooms share a bathroom. The house is shared with the hosts.
The Fold is set in an acre of mature gardens in the rural village of Cwm near Dyserth. There is off road secure parking available at the property. The house is detached and has lovely views across the Vale of Clwyd and the surrounding area. The house has a wrap around deck which is perfect for al fresco dining should you wish to bring your own food in and dine outside (should you wish to do this then please advise host). As the garden is large, we can also accommodate tent(s) at the bottom of the garden but, please be aware that there is no electricity or water away from the house. Please contact me directly should you wish to stay here with your tent. The house is shared with other guests.
The village of Cwm is in a quiet rural location with a 17th century pub that serves food (The Blue Lion pub) and is within walking distance from the house. There is also a church in the village 'St Mael & St Sulien' which dates back to the 6th century. The 'Offa's Dyke path' is close by as is the coastal towns of Prestatyn and Rhyl approximately 4 miles away. The nearest villages/towns with amenities are Dyserth and Rhuddlan approximately 2 and 3 miles away respectively. Dyserth has 2 convenience stores, a pub, take aways and a chemist. Rhuddlan has a few restaurants, cafes, churches, pubs and shops. Rhuddlan also has it's own castle which was first erected by King Edward I in the year 1277. There are also other pubs, garden centres, restaurants and supermarkets in the nearby surrounding area which are accessible by car. Cwm is located approximately 30 minutes drive away from the English historic Roman city of Chester and the Victorian coastal resort of Llandudno and is in an ideal location for exploring the best of what North Wales has to offer. Snowdonia, Anglesey and the North Wales coast are on the doorstep. Liverpool is also approximately 1 hour drive away.
