  • My husband and are were celebrating our 17th anniversary and Tami was amazing. We had a splendid time. The best part for us (and the most pleasant surprise) was that we were active participants in the 2 hr sail. This is something that I think every potential guest should know in advance because it may not be for everyone. but, it was definitely for us! The quick tour of the boat helped us to uderstand how everything worked so we were comfortable staying the night. The part that amazed and impressed us both was how comfortable and laid back Tami was with novices sailing her one of a kind boat. The sunset sail was a bit chilly but we were warned to dress for it. At the conclusion of our stay, we were greeted with a wonderful croissant And yogurt/fruit continental breakfast. Towels were clean and very nice. Marina had nice facilities for shower and flushing toilets. These were not available on the boat. Shower is about $2.00 in quarters for 7 minutes. Again, good to know so that you can plan to have change. Last and most importantly......bring soap and shampoo.....none is provided. Again, great host!

  • Our stay aboard the Lille Danser was perfect!! Bainbridge Island is a lovely place to visit, with great shops, friendly people, and beautiful scenery. The sailboat was a great escape and provided the quiet, intimate setting that we were looking for as we celebrated our anniversary. Tami, the captain, was very nice and truly made us feel welcome. We had a great experience and highly recommend the experience!!

    Heather2012-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Do you want the most dreamy and romantic time of your life? Well than do yourself a favor aboard the Lille Danser. Tami was incredibly sweet, generous, and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable and informative on how to sail the boat. We were able to go out on a beautiful day. The boat is very unique, clean, and cozy. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back! Thanks Tami for making our anniversary special and relaxing.

    Liz2014-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful time on Tami's boat! My boyfriend, his father, his uncle, and I stayed aboard the sailboat for Thanksgiving weekend. It was wonderfully quiet, the water was fairly calm while we were there, and we had everything we needed on-board (heat and coffee being most important :) ). Bainbridge was a cute island, and Seattle was easily accessible by ferry. I highly recommend staying here! Tami was extremely attentive to our needs!

    Stacey2013-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay on Tami's boat was charming and quaint. Tami was a warm and fabulous host. She went through many details of the boat and instructions before leaving. I would return and recommend to all. What a great way to soak up the Seattle area.

    Eric2014-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay on Tami's sailboat! Tami met us there and showed us all there was to know about the boat. She left us with a wonderful breakfast as well. We stayed in February. I thought it might get chilly, but she left us with heaters and an electric blanket. We stayed plenty warm. The boat was beautiful. We would defiantly come back and stay again!!!

    Pamela 2015-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • We booked the Lille Danser for an overnight stay and it was everything I had hoped for. Tami our host was absolutely wonderful. Her communication prior to arriving had been very responsive and when we met her she had made the boat so warm and inviting with comfy bed linens, heated blankets and muffins and fruit too. The next day Tami took us out on a 2 hour sail. Despite the lack of wind, we had a great time and she was so kind and patient with the kids giving them a private sailing lesson as they learned to hoist the sails, tie knots then lower and tie back the sails when we returned to the harbor. This wonderful sailing experience on beautiful Bainbridge Island and one that we will definitely repeat!

    Helen2015-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing adventure. We took our nephew and his friend (ages 13 and 12) there for a birthday trip and our expectations were exceeded! Paying the extra for the sailing trip is well worth it! Tami is really fantastic with young people-- the kids got to drive the boat, help with the sails, and had so much fun then staying on the boat that night. I definitely recommend this for anyone seeking a unique experience or who have kids who are interested in the sailing life. The boat was clean, much more spacious than I expected and had so much character. Tami was warm, welcoming, and really conscientious of making this a special stay. Thank you thank you thank you!

  • The perfect place -- beautifully decorated and a wonderful location. Marc was the perfect host and checked in with us to make sure all was okay. Cannot recommend more highly!

    Matt2014-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at Marc's dream cottage! It was everything we expected and more. Marc left us a wonderful little snack basket and bottle of wine to welcome us, the property was beautiful and the hot tub very relaxing. The bed is potentially the most comfortable place on earth so don't plan on waking up too early during your stay! Marc also recommended a DELICIOUS restaurant over in Paulsbo that was perfect. If I could give 6 stars in the rating I would.

    Daniel2014-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • The dream cottage absolutely lived up to its name. It was stunningly beautiful inside and out. Marc was also extremely nice. When we arrived we found a stocked fridge and fruit basket as well as a bottle of wine! This was my first stay at an airbnb and I think I'm going to have a hard time topping this experience!

    JT2014-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Our host, Marc was very welcoming and friendly. We had a fun stay at the Dream Cottage, located in a quiet neighborhood. The attention to details was amazing. Unique wood furniture and decorations, along with complimentary wine and snacks. The sunsets were gorgeous and we loved eating dinner in the little gazebo. Local areas to explore: Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island.

    Jay2014-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Keyport was a great and the cottage exceeded my expectations. Marc was an enthusiastic host!

    Danny2015-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Secluded utopia. Very accommodating, and comfortable. We concur with all prior reviews... But would like to emphasize a few items... The woodwork in the cottage is beyond Feng Shui. It just flows and fits so well we plan on borrowing many ideas. We especially love the huge antique doors to the bedroom. The silky linens on the bed were dreamy... And all the extras, snacks, roses and Starbucks coffee - nothing less than a pampering of pleasure.

    Wendy2015-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was great - the house & grounds were very quiet & relaxing. We were busy exploring the Olympic peninsula most of our trip so we didn't spend at the cottage, but it would have been a great spot to spend a couple days to simply relax. Everything met our expectations. As others have noted, the basket of goodies was great & much appreciated.

    Eric2015-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • I did not meet Marc but he had good communication leading up to our arrival. The cottage is as described in the listing and pics. They supplied a nice supply of treats, snacks, food and wine/OJ which was very much appreciated! I would recommend this place to any couple out there.

  • This was a great little place outside of Seattle by ferry. It was close to the port towns. It was a quiet stay and very enjoyable. Troy was very friendly.

    James2016-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was the cutest place we've ever seen. The door looks like something out of "The Hobbit" complete with intriguing engineering. Troy made us feel very welcome and the cottage was exactly as described. We felt very peaceful there and didn't want to leave! He gave us our privacy, yet was generous with his time when we approached him. The kitchen was fully equipped (including a full-size fridge) and we loved having a gas stove. The appliances all seemed new. The bathroom was spacious for the 4 of us and there were plenty of linens and extra blankets and pillows. And the wooden beams in the ceiling, walls and floor made us feel we were living in a luxurious treehouse. We would love to come back again!

    Kelly2015-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved their place. When we booked last minute and came over on the ferry from Seattle it was just what we needed. A great place to relax and waste the days away, we didn't want to leave.

    Brendan & Sally2014-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Although we arrived later in the evening, Troy was there to welcome us to the place and show us around. We absolutely adored the cabin and wish we could have stayed longer. It is warm, cosy, comfortable, quiet, and in an excellent location. I hope we can come back again.

    Lona2014-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first airbnb experience and it couldn't have been better. Troy and Phyllis were outside working in the yard when we arrived and greeted us with a warm welcome. Troy gave us a tour and answered questions. We loved staying two nights so that we had a full day to enjoy the place between nights. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (two adults, kids ages 6,8,14) to be inside but to have their own space for reading, doing puzzles and playing cards. The cottage was immaculate and well kept. Weather was lovely and the woods were great for the kids to roam outside. The deck was perfect to catch the mid morning sun. We cooked all of our meals on Saturday, including barbecued steaks for dinner, with groceries from the local Central Market. We have a hard to please teenager who loved the wardrobe closet upstairs that he could sleep and read in, away from his two sisters, when he needed his alone time. I especially enjoyed the tour of Troy's orchid greenhouse and admire his dedication and passion for these beautiful plants. The whole family highly recommends the Conservatory Cottage and would choose to stay again!

    Jamie2015-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Even before I booked my weekend at the Conservatory Cottage, Troy and Phyllis were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the process. The cottage is absolutely breathtaking; the photos here are fabulous but still don't even come close to the actual experience of being there. Ruby and I will be back! Thanks again for hosting a wonderful weekend!

    Kari2012-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is beautiful and was a perfect place to spend my birthday weekend. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

    Kristin2014-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • The beauty of this hideaway is matched only by the hospitality of its owners. After an impromptu trip to the Pacific Northwest from NYC, Troy and Phyllis were kind enough to approve our VERY last minute stay. After they had the place ready in about an hour, Troy personally took time out of his evening to meet us, give us a tour and show us the ins and outs of the house. They even let us out on their own deck for some birdwatching the following morning. The space itself is wonderful. It's nicely tucked away down a quiet road and down an even quieter driveway. The handmade feel is second to none and makes you feel like you're a part of the surrounding nature. It utilizes the fresh air to keep the place cool overnight, but also features a gas fireplace if it gets too chilly. My only regret is that I was in and out of town in about a day and half, so I didn't get to spend more time there. Would love to go back.

    Conservatory Cottage

This picturesque cottage is hidden among towering trees located on my family's property, perched carefully on Fletcher Bay. With all of the modern amenities desirable, the cottage is ideal for anyone looking for a weekend visit, or a longer get away.
This charming cottage is nestled behind towering evergreen trees just steps from Fletcher Bay. Located mid-island, the cottage has all imaginable modern amenities, a full kitchen, full bath, and washer-dryer. With beautiful hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and painted wood ceiling, the cottage manages to feel both cozy and fresh. A gas lit fireplace warms up the cottage on rainy days, and air conditioning cools it off in the blistering summer heat (80° at most). Featuring a quaint loft ideal for children (the winding staircase is fairly narrow), the cottage has the capacity to sleep four: one king bed downstairs and two twins upstairs.
The cottage is perched on Fletcher Bay, overlooking our dock (currently under construction (fixing damaged boards). It is within a mile of Bainbridge’s largest and most prized park, Battle Point. The property is within walking distance to parts of Bainbridge often unseen by most visitors. All of these features make the cottage an ideal getaway or extended stay location for those looking to experience the best that Bainbridge has to offer.
  • Unfortunately we had a few problems with our booking as the place wasn't ready when we arrived. However after a short while, the place was all cleaned and ready and was really lovely. Greeted with a bottle of wine from their winery. The host definitely tried her hardest to rectify what looked like an honest mistake. Would consider going back if in the area!

    Luca2017-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place was quiet and comfortable and meet the needs for my dog and I to have a simple staycation for a few days away from the city. We enjoyed the island and ate great food. The place could certainly use some TLC as the tub drain was all rusty, numerous light bulbs were out, most of the window shades wouldn't adjust, and the recommended water dispenser wasn't full or even plugged in. Jason was very responsive via the app although a simple one pager to explain the place, how the heater worked, only drink water from the machine, which clicker operated what would have gone a long way in my being able to self serve vs pepper him with questions.

    Julie2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place for a romantic get away! Exactly what I was looking for I loved it

    Sierra2017-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • We didn't have a good experience. There was a terible odor throughout the house especially around the staircase walls. I would not return. The house needs a thorough cleaning to get the smells out.

    Julie2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is a charming cottage in the woods of Bainbridge. Very comfortable and quaint. I loved the decor.

    Gregory2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • James made it so easy to just show up and feel right at home. Lovely cottage with everything you could hope for. Wifi multiple sleeping quarters and a very well appointed kitchen. Fantastic and relaxing views and a short drive away from anything you would want to do on the island.

    Ethan2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was lovely and in a very peaceful spot. It was a great base for exploring the island and is a short drive from the main shops and restaurants. James was very welcoming and always quick to reply to our questions.

    Abigail2016-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Cottages was very clean and cozy. We were greeted by the cutest dauschhound and our hosts also gave us a bottle of delicious wine from their vineyard. Thanks!

Steps from the water - and a beachside hot tub - our studio is a great place to recharge. Take a pleasant walk or bike ride to restaurants and shops - or head to nearby swimming beaches if it’s hot, or go for a hike in the Olympics (45 minutes away).
The Studio at Frog Palace is our recently remodeled guest space on Appletree Cove, a mile outside of Downtown Kingston. With a luxurious, adjustable-firmness queen bed, new kitchen and bathroom, and adjacent shared washer and drier, it can comfortably accommodate up to 2 adults (air bed and outside tent spaces can be arranged). Kitchen essentials include pots/pans, dishes, electric kettle, microwave, dishwasher, and stocked coffee and half-and-half.
Although Frog Palace is secluded, there's lots to do. Along with shops, restaurants, and a movie theater all within a 5 minutes by bike or a 20-minute walk on great sidewalks, the property fronts onto more than a mile of walkable beaches, and is near great swimming spots. Outings to nearby trailheads are easily arranged (the Quinalt, Duckabush, Skokomish, and Hamma Hamma rivers are popular, along with Mt. Townsend and Mt Zion), and we can help you plan a dayhike and get weather reports/maps. Kayak and Stand-up paddleboards are also available for rent in Kingston.
  • Mary and Jimmy are great hosts! The seaside property is quaint and was definitely a nice place to spend some quality time with my girlfriend. The hot tub was fantastic! Hosts supplied everything we needed to cook and it's close to restaurants as well.

The layout is a modern treehouse; the angles and ceiling height echoes the trees in which is sits. The colors are soothing. Every inch of space is utilized so it embraces you in a cozy, calming way. Trails behind the TreeHouse lead to a very quiet street with farms, a forest reserve. A half mile walk leads to a small commercial corner featuring the beloved "Bay Hay & Feed", a nursery/feed store/gift shop/and mini REI! There's also a P.O., coffee shop, Jiffy Mart, and amazing Italian market with homemade pasta & sauces.
In addition, up the street about 2 miles is Fay Bainbridge Park. It's a beautiful stretch of beach with wonderful driftwood, fields for running your dog, and BBQ pits for picnics. Also nearby is a winery and local farm. And Winslow is a great town for meals, movies, wine tasting, shopping and more. This is a non-smoking apartment.
  • The treehouse is awesome, quiet, plenty of space, really clean and Keith made it super accommodating. All the amenities and we didn't do without, in fact we made a delicious pork tenderloin and fresh green bean dinner for New Year's Eve. A night in Bainbridge was exactly what we were looking for. This location is near both Manitou Beach Park and Fay Bainbridge Park. It's really easy to get to yet feels hidden once you arrive. We hope to come back and take advantage of the deck that overlooks the woods once the weather is nicer. Other highlights include stereo/cable package, Keith's homemade banana bread and honest to God oddly enough the inlayed river rock shower is amazing. Recommend staying here for a quiet cozy time and as an escape from the Seattle city life.

    Ian2015-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our anniversary weekend very much, the studio is exactly as described and pictured. The property is gorgeous, quiet and private. Keith was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were able to unwind and enjoy the wooded property as well as get out and explore, Bainbridge Island is beautiful!

    Roxieann2014-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay! Keith made all of us—including Baker, our three year-old golden retriever—feel welcome. The treehouse is a cozy and classy place to stay. You feel the tranquility of being in the woods and being well taken care of with electronic entertainment (TV, DVD, radio) you may or may not want, plus a well-stocked kitchen. If you like to walk, there are plenty of nearby trails to choose from. Keith is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. We live on the island so we didn't need tourist tips—but Keith is well connected and can point in the right direction, whether it be a restaurant or local or Seattle sights. His two dogs Bohdi and Tula are sweet, too! I highly recommend the treehouse studio!

    Barry2015-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome stay in Keith's beautiful Treehouse studio. It was probably the highlight of our west coast trip. Perfectly well appointed with all you need, including a wood stove on the deck and a weber grill. The shower was fantastic and the bed really comfortable. The best part was just sitting on the deck in the afternoon with the forest right there in front of you watching the sunlight stream through. Bainbridge was a great place to be based. We cycled, kayaked, hiked. Highly recommend staying.

    Sarah2014-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • My experience was great, and Keith is a great host. The treehouse loft is an awesome little place for a couple (maybe even up to a family of four). Thanks, Keith!

  • What a wonderfully relaxing stay...nestled under the down comforter while listening to the misty rain. Paradise :) Every member of our family (dog included) had a great stay thanks to Keith's generous hospitality.

  • Amy’s little cabin was a treat. It has a wonderful view of the water, is surrounded by huge trees, and has easy nearby access to the shore. The décor is fun and well executed and the cabin is well stocked with the essentials, notably a hot-water maker and a coffee maker. We enjoyed being a quick drive into town, but far enough out to savor the rural flavor of the island. We would stay there again.

    Emily 2016-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend. So much better and homier than a hotel! The view was gorgeous and it was so peaceful to be nestled in the trees. The path/stairs to and from shore was a fun little adventure. Amy was really nice and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this cabin and I would love to stay here again!

    Lisa Yumi2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's place was very nice - however I do feel that it is a tad overpriced. The location on the island is great, it's very close to the beach. You have your own space that's quite comfortable for two people, however the kitchen could use some more equipment and supplies. The coffee maker was full of mold which seemed like it had been there for several weeks. Also, the kitchen sink doubles as the bathroom sink. The place was tastefully decorated and the countertops were lovely. The bed was extremely cozy and comfortable. The storage was great, plenty for two people. The shower was very spacious as well, comfortable for me at 6'4". Amy and her husband were very responsive to text messages when we needed help getting inside. They gave us full privacy and it was very easy to stay out of their way as the place is completely separate from their home. I would recommend this place to people, but it was a bit pricey.

  • The cabin was charming and perfect for our stay on Bainbridge. It is located in a quiet area, and close to town. Amy was easy to reach and always helpful. Without question, we would stay there again!

  • My sister and I LOVED staying in Amy's cabin! This was my first vacation after beating stage 3 breast cancer and this cabin had the peace, quiet, and beautiful nature I wanted to just relax and rejuvenate. It was so cute, very well decorated, and had a gorgeous view of the water!! And Amy was very responsive and gracious :).

    Amber2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little place overlooking the water with beach access nearby. Our dog had a great time meeting crabs under rocks and we had so much fun stopping in at shops downtown and checking out the local restaurants nearby. Amy made it so easy to arrive and have a great stay. We won't be able to stay away for long.

    Allie2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed our stay at Amy's place. What a treasure this little cabin is, exactly as listed and then some. Easy checking in and out. Highly recommend this beautiful little hide away. The view is breath-taking. Couldn't have been happier staying here.

    Leona2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's cabin was my first experience with Airbnb and I have to tell ya...I had a fantastic time. I booked the same weekend of the first major storms of the season. Amy was incredibly accommodating and easy to contact. So wonderful to fall asleep both nights to the sounds of rain on a tin roof. View was gorgeous and the room itself was full of character. I could easily stay there a whole week and never leave the area. I definitely look forward to visiting again. 11/10 stars ! Thanks again, Amy :D

Cozy studio apt with king bed, small kitchen, and 3/4 bathroom attached to private home. Separate entrance with parking, nestled among fir, cedar, and maple trees. Two miles from Clearwater Casino Resort and less than 10 miles to Poulsbo, Kingston, and Bainbridge Island.
Suquamish is on land historically belonging to the people after whom it's named. Chief Sealth's grave, Old Man House, and the Suquamish Museum are a few local landmarks, and the area is steeped in history and culture.
  • Great room with everything you could need. Very clean and tidy. Pamela is a gracious hostess and made me feel perfectly at home.

    Bill2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Everything worked out really well for us at Pamela's. We didn't spend a lot of time in Suquamish but drove to Poulsbo (about 15 minutes away) and went to a couple of breweries and enjoyed the waterfront area. We really appreciated little extras such as bottled water in the fridge, coffee and tea, and even a package of microwave popcorn. There is a fan, a space heater, extra blankets- basically everything you will need to be comfortable during your stay. Finally, it is less than 15 minutes to the Kingston ferry, so that was super convenient for us as we were on our way to the Bothell area after our stay. Would stay here again!

    Adrienne2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • A very warm, generous and flexible host.

    Evan2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela's Studio is a great value for the solo traveler or couple seeking cozy accommodations. I found the space to be exactly as pictured and described. The kitchenette is well stocked and the bed is big and comfortable. Just down the road are a few restaurants and a small market. The location is also very convenient to accessing the ferry as well as a short driving distance to Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island. Pamela makes her guests feel warmly welcomed and makes herself available for any questions or needs. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

    Eric2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela is a good host and communicator and will be as helpful or not, as you want. Her place , which she lists as a room, is actually a small studio, with kitchen, bathroom and king bed. You can be completely self sufficient. And for a very modest price. The place is also halfway between Bainbridge and Poulsbo so both towns are available for day trips.

    Delia2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela was quick to reply to questions. Place was easy to find and clean. Would stay again if I am in the area.

    Jennifer2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela's studio is a lovely quiet room that looks out on beautiful greenery. The fresh, organic flowers and herbs in our room were delightful and everything was very clean and comfortable! We would stay here again without any hesitation!

    Enjolee2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela is a welcoming and accommodating hostess. I was greeted by bouquets of fresh organic herbs from her garden on the little table. Her studio has everything one needs for a short or a long stay: plenty of hangers, drawers and shelves for stashing "stuff", a full kitchen and a big comfy bed. Wireless access is great so you can check out all the interesting nearby places to visit. The location is terrific: just minutes to Poulsbo, Kingston, and Bainbridge Island and each place has exciting, interesting places to visit, both indoors and outdoors. I highly recommend the Suquamish Museum for a rainy day and the Grand Forest for a wonderful hike. I give a big thumbs up to Pamela's place.

When you visit the Beach Suite on Lemolo you'll be welcomed by gracious cedars and the scent of flowering gardens all to the sound track of gentle waves lapping the shore. The guesthouse is fully equipped for either the adventurer, business traveler or peace seeker. Comfortable in all ways. You'll be just steps to the beach or a 3 mile walk to the town of Poulsbo. Convenient in all ways. Beach towels and fire wood are provided for your fun.
Fire wood is provided for the fire pit as well as marshmallow roasting sticks!
The neighborhood consists of single family homes lining the waterfront. Neighbors to the north have 3 young children and the home to the south isn't a full time residence. You can watch the boats pass by heading to the town of Poulsbo. We're an easy 3 mile walk with a walking trail along Fjord Drive to Poulsbo. Currently they are landscaping the new home next door. There may be some "worker" noise during the weekdays. Most guests have not been bothered by this. The work should be completed before the end of September!
  • Absolutely beautiful setting and well stocked. Sandi is a wonderful host. Look forward to staying there again

    Steven2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house is phenomenal and such an amazing location! Just a 5 minute drive to downtown poulsbo. Sandi is a great host who is courteous and beyond thoughtful!

  • Beautiful spot for watching the world go by on the water or grabbing a kayak to tour the bay. Great cottage with everything you need to feel at home

    Vicki2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying in this cottage. I chose this rental because of the lovey water view and the opportunity to use the kayaks. The bay area was perfect for kayaking because you did not have to deal with boat traffic. Honestly I just enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs at the waters edge for hours taking in the amazing scenery. The gardens were gorgeous! When you looked out the windows you could see the beautiful surrounding gardens making you feel like you are in a nest on the branches of a lovely tree. If you were in the kitchen you got a nice peekaboo view of the water. Sandi was a wonderful hostess and the treats she provided were perfect. I love how close this rental is to Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Silverdale, and Central Market. We ate at Thai restaurant near the market, as well as, purchasing delectable treats to eat later. We also ate at one of my favorite restaurants, Silver City Brewery. I would highly recommend Bloedel Reserve if you are a nature lover. This was a rental property to truly enjoy a relaxing vacation!

  • Sandi was a wonderful host and her beach house is just the cutest. I loved the location of her home, just a short drive from downtown shops and restaurants, but set back just enough to feel secluded, quiet and relaxed. I loved taking the kayaks out for a spin for sunset/sunrise- just a short paddle away from the reservation as well as the yacht club. The beach house was very clean, beautifully decorated and had wonderful amenities- coffee, drinks, snacks, a gorgeous shower with all the bathroom necessities as well, and the most comfortable bed! This was probably one of my favorite stays on air bnb and I very much look forward to visiting again.

    Kirstyn2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful, delightful, restful stay!! I cannot say enough good things about Sandi and her sweet beach cottage. The cottage is perfectly appointed (with the most comfortable bed and ahhh-mazing shower), with a functional kitchen, comfortable living area with TV, books, etc. There's even a little outside area, just outside the front door, to sit and have your coffee among Sandi's beautiful gardens. But that's not even the best part. The best part is the beach. Just a quick stroll from the cottage you will find yourself at the beach. Sandi's creative touch and welcoming spirit are evident there too - there is a fire pit and Adirondack chairs to relax, or kayaks to take out and play! Every part of my stay was great and I hope to be back soon!

    Jeanie2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • This a great weekend for us. Glad we picked Sandi's place. Her place is on her property that is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The accommodations were perfect for us. Nice size bathroom with a wonderful shower. The kitchenette was nice too. Everything we needed and then some. Sandi communicated promptly and answered any needs or questions we had. Would definitely love to go back when we pick Poulsbo again.

  • We had a wonderful weekend stay at Shelley's house! My boyfriend's favorite part was meeting the dogs, who were so well-behaved. We loved how the room was decorated, and it was perfect for our stay. The house was unbelievably convenient for access to the Viking Festival and bike ride. Shelley also went out of her way to send back a jacket I left behind. Great hosts!

  • If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, charming and private place to stay out in the countryside on the Kitsap penisula, this is it! We were greeted with fresh baked blueberry scones and fresh raspberry jam for our breakfast the next morning. The easy chairs on the porch were the perfect place to enjoy the summer evening while reading, listening to the occasional baaing of sheep, watching the chickens vie for their place on the roost (great fun!), and for sighting a bunny rabbit grabbing a snack of grass on the lawn. It was one of the best nights sleep in a long time. Jeanette's place offered us a calming and quiet respite. (She was also available if we needed anything.) We would absolutely stay at her amazing little place again. We loved it!

    Jenny2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely adored staying at the cottage. It is a beautifully decorated space that is just as much comfortable as aesthetically pleasing. Jeanette was extremely helpful throughout the process, and the scones + jam were to die for. We wish we had an extra day to spend there.

  • Again, (this is my second visit to Sean and Brenda's place), I was instantly comforted by the warmth and the hospitality of Sean and Brenda's home. They have so many individual touches that they put into making their home so inviting and healing. I can't wait until the next time I can book a night there! What lovely people in such a beautiful place!

    Heidi2015-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Sean was very friendly. The house was very clean and nice. The house had beautiful views and was so serene. Had a lovely evening and morning on the deck looking at the water, and then just a short drive to the fun shops in Poulsbo.

    Sara2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The directions are spot on. Watch for that bus sign if coming from the North or you will miss it. Beautiful place and our first airbnb. Stayed overnight after a concert, had to come home first thing in the morning, and regretted that we couldn't stay longer. We will be back. Sean was very welcoming and a great host.

    Bill2017-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Sean and Brenda for having me! Your house is the prettiest place for a weekend getaway and even better for business travel. Chilling on your porch was awesome! You guys made my seminar even more relaxing! ❤️

  • Sean and his wife are fantastic hosts. I booked the day of but Sean was incredibly responsive and communicative. Their place is very nice, right on the water with peaceful and relaxing views. Very accommodating and I will definitely try to come back in the summer. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

  • Amazing home located on a large open lot facing east - looking out over Miller Bay and Indianola Spit. Guests have full use of the kitchen (including breakfast bar), dining area and living room, as well as the outside deck and patio facing the bay. Queen bedroom is upstairs and has been kept as close as possible to it's original design. Includes a very nice mix of classic and traditional furniture. Sean was out of town but his wife Brenda was an incredible host and made sure we were welcome and felt comfortable. It really showed how much the owners love their little slice of heaven on the water's edge and their enthusiasm to share this gem of a home with their guests is undeniable. We highly recommend staying here!

    Mark2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • A very beautiful house, and two kind landlord. This house by the side of the sea, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. If you are a photographer you must be choose here. You can add my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) 504693 to see my photos when I stay here. You can discuss photography with the owner of this house. And if you know classical music , you can talk to the hostess about the art of music. In a word, come here to enjoy life.

    fei2017-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • You would be hard pressed to find better hosts! Sean and Brenda are incredibly lovely hosts, with a beautiful home that is warm and inviting, set in idyllic Mitchell Bay. Their home is beautifully decorated in ways that are unique and soothing. The guest room is a gem and you'll want to stay in the comfy bed so you can watch the sun rise over the water. Or you can get out of bed and peacefully sit on the large viewing deck to drink freshly brewed coffee and watch the seals play in the bay. From a logistics point of view, their home is very convenient - 10 minutes from the Kingston ferry or from Poulsbo. You can easily access their retreat-like abode without having to travel too far out of the city - a nice bonus. I got my dose of Mother Nature just by being at their house, but I also hiked in nearby Heritage Park, Foul Weather Bluffs, and Point No Point Park where one can watch for whales. Sean and Brenda as hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating, despite some technical booking quirks, and they really made me feel at home. I could go on and on about how lovely they are or how charming and comfortable their home is, but I think I'll end with this: I ended up staying another day because I didn't want to leave too soon! Thank you, Sean & Brenda!

This upstairs studio is close to Poulsbo, Puget Sound, the Seattle ferry, several state parks, Olympic National Park, Olympic Mountain trails, and historic Port Townsend. You’ll love this studio because of the coziness, the vaulted ceilings, the views, and the location. It's extremely quiet and very private. This Garden Suite is especially good for couples, but can accommodate solo adventurers and business travelers. Features a new queen-size bed, video library, and reclining love seat.
This is a roomy, light, cozy upstairs apartment over a double garage. It is completely separate from our home. It has views out to the garden and the waterfront, and you can easily walk down to the bay. A great place for bird watchers, with Great Blue Herons, Kingfishers, Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Canadian Geese, Pileated Woodpeckers, Flickers, Nuthatches, Oregon Juncos, Chickadees, and more. Many interesting arctic ducks winter here. You can enjoy the view from the upstairs landing or you are welcome to sit on our covered porch to watch the tides and the birds.
Our neighborhood is very quiet, and walking on the quiet roads is very popular. We can recommend a 4 mile loop for those who'd like a pleasant stroll or vigorous run. We have a resident Bald Eagle nest up the road, and have a nice view of Liberty Bay.
  • A very lovely and idyllic spot, quiet and right on the water! The property is just as pretty as it looks in pictures. We had a comfortable and peaceful stay in the Garden studio apartment. The space is private, airy and spacious - the carpeted living area was even big enough for rolling out 2 yoga mats! The bed is comfortably soft, and there is nothing sweeter than waking to the quiet with just a few bird sounds. We appreciated having coffee, milk and fresh fruit in the kitchen to get our day started before heading out to enjoy the many nearby attractions of Poulsbo and the Kitsap Peninsula. Kim & Jan were welcoming, helpful, and responsive, and overall we couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend getaway!

    Anne2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very cute little apartment above a garage. Has a nice little kitchen area, sitting area and bedroom area along with a nice bathroom. We really like the small deck just outside the door with views of Liberty Bay, geese with goslings, blue herons and of course the ducks and seagulls and shore birds! You're in for a treat when you stay at Kim and Jan's place! We would recommend and would stay again.

    Janet2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed 2 nights in Kim's Garden Studio during our short stay in WA, and absolutely loved it! The apartment is very clean, well organized and located in a beautiful & quiet neighborhood. Kim is a great host, easily reachable and very helpful with tips and ideas on nearby attractions and hiking. It was overall a great experience. We will definitely come back!

    Eve2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • The other reviews are spot on. The space is private, serene, and safe! This was my first airbnb experience, and Kim and Jan made the process so easy.

    Elizabeth2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • It took me about an hour and 45 minutes to get here from Seattle...and that was the point! This place is a perfect peaceful and beautiful get away. The property is quite large and great for a stroll through the garden or a nap in the sun. I took a walk recommended by Kim where I saw jumping fish and heard clam bubbles popping, but the most incredible sight was the 15 herons in the lagoon right in front of the apartment! The bed was comfortable, the space was clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and there are a lot of things to keep you busy indoors if the weather isn't to your liking. A yoga mat, puzzles, videos, books, etc. They view from the chairs on the small patio in front of the apartment is good, but Kim and Jan welcomed me to get a better view from their porch, which is down the stairs and a few steps from the apartment. (You have to walk across their porch to get to the shore). They are happy to let you alone if you prefer, even if you are on their porch or sitting by the fire overlooking the lagoon (Kim built the fires for me). I chose to spend time with them in front of the fire and I'm so glad I did. They are such delightful and interesting people! They are also incredibly thoughtful and accommodating as hosts. They took great care to understand what kind of vacation I was looking for and went the extra mile to make it happen. They even offered me hot dogs and wine! I recommend this place for a quiet get away for one or two people for rest and relaxation, or for biking, canoeing, walking, or running, or as a home base for exploring the area.

  • Private, cozy suite surrounded by woods, with sounds of birds. We slept soundly with comfortable bed and pillows.

    Cathy2016-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very beautiful, right on the water. It is a great location from which to tour both Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula! You need a car and pay good attention to the speed limits on the small, two lane roads that crisscross the area. Kim has great advice about which ferries are best for your destinations. Some require reservations though, so plan ahead!

We thought it was very sweet that she had fresh fruit on the counter for us as well as breakfast for the next morning. Her home is very clean, comfortable, quiet and has an incredible view.

Studio apartment detached from house. Minutes from trails, beaches, and Bainbridge Island. Short drive to ferries. Fully equipped kitchen, dining, bathroom (shower) and Queen sized bed. Private patio. There is a TV for watching DVDs only - not hooked to cable/antenna. This is a working farm. We provide farm fresh eggs if you wish to make your breakfast. Enjoy this newly remodeled apartment on a working organic farm. Everything is clean, new and ready for your relaxation and pleasure. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, stove, oven and refrigerator if you're a "cook at home" sort, and we're only about 10 minutes drive from town if you prefer to sample the local night life. We are located on the Kitsap Peninsula about 20 minutes drive from scenic Bainbridge Island where there are several excellent restaurants and fun shopping. Bainbridge Island also features 7 local wineries, and both Bainbridge and Poulsbo have a multitude of brew pubs to explore. Poulsbo also has a nice main street (Front Street) with many local specialty shops as well as a beautiful waterfront boardwalk for a romantic stroll. Acres of trails are just minutes away. The Stottlemeyer Trail system is about a 5 minute drive from us, and offers several hundred acres of trails for walking, biking or horseback riding. Nearby Port Gamble has businesses where you can rent kayaks/canoes and explore the beauty of the Puget Sound. A trip to Seattle from here is as quick as a drive to the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal. A scenic 35 minute ferry ride puts you in the center of downtown, and a short walk to Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square and other local attractions. You can also take the monorail to Seattle Center to see the Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum and the Seattle Science Center. There is no shortage of great things to do in this very walkable city!
The neighborhood is quiet and off the beaten path, but not too far from local attractions. If you're headed to the area to attend a wedding, this is a very convenient location. We are just a short drive from the following popular wedding venues: Farm Kitchen Kingston House Red Cedar Farm Kiana Lodge Llama Rose Farm & Gardens Port Gamble Wedding & Events Center Hood Canal Vista & Pavillion
  • Lisa and Linda have poured their hearts into this beautifully appointed, secluded retreat. Their careful attention to every detail (delicious farm free eggs from happy free-range hens and zuchini bread from their organic garden, clean, modern facilities, luxurious towels and hand-sewn quilts, excellent selection of books, fully equipped kitchen, private patio...) combined with their warmth and humor to make our getaway weekend a wonderful experience of reguvenation and fun!

    Hannah2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa greeted me with raspberries, blackberries, and plums, fresh from the farm, as well as some zucchini bread. Really warm hospitality. The spot is a cozy, well-appointed apartment just outside charming Poulsbo, and close to Port Townsend, the Olympic Peninsula, etc. Great place for a solo traveler or couple to stay exploring a beautiful and relatively undiscovered part of the US.

    Antonio2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is very comfortable and has all the amenities you could need. The property is very peaceful and scenic. The hosts were easy to work with and very friendly. We hope to go back some day!

  • Beautiful, quiet space. Gracious hosts, country but close to town, only 10 minute drive to Poulsbo. Light, and airy, quiet and private

    Cynthia2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing! The farm is a quiet relaxing piece of heaven. Linda and Lisa are delightful hosts, wonderful to chat with, had great suggestions for what to do in the area and happily helped with our special requests. The baked goods, organic eggs and fresh flowers were a special touch that made it feel like home. We were only sad that we couldn't spend more time here!

    Blake2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay around Poulsbo! The hosts were very friendly and we would definitely stay with them again, the next time we're in the area.

    Scott2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa and Linda offer a lovely little sanctuary right in the middle of so many places you might want to see and explore. We visited for a wedding and didn't have as much time as we like, but it's clear to me we could stay here and be in a prime spot for hiking just about all of the islands and much of the Olympic Peninsula. As for the house: it is luxurious in its amenities and wonderfully cozy, but not too small at all. Lisa and Linda made us very welcome, leaving us fresh cake (I have food allergies and felt guilty not being able to partake, it looked so good) and fresh eggs. My boyfriend happily indulged and raved about it all. Lisa and Linda were also very gracious to let us arrive a little early a we had plenty of time to get ready for the wedding after a long drive. I am hoping we can come back soon and actually get to know them better and explore the area properly!

    Virginia2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • I wish I could have stayed longer! As soon as I arrived I was created and given a tour of the property. The Farm is lovely and the hostesses were friendly and eager to share information about the area so I could go explore. I love to cook and the kitchen was setup so I could cook my meals. On the patio out back I could sit and be creative and enjoy the passing wildlife. Beautiful and friendly place to stay!

Enjoy our secluded park like setting, the comfy bed, sauna, homemade bread/jam/cookies, 250+ year old trees, gardens, sitting areas, golf chipping. Close to Seattle via a 30 minute car & 30 minute ferry ride. About 1&1/2 hrs. from Olympic National Park, ferry to Victoria, Canada. Near beach, golf, hiking trails, larger towns with shopping, restaurants. Ask about pets. Good for couples and solo adventurers.
Our guest cottage is by itself away from the main house. You have deck seating with the golf chipping platform adjacent. Your shower/sauna is next door with bathrobes and slippers provided. Two dressing/toilet spaces with hairdryers/magnifying mirrors/hand lotion, etc.
Indianola is a very small town with a lovely beach and public dock. We have a Post Office, General Store, a pavilion and grassy park like corner (both suitable for a picnic lunch). A short drive takes you to shopping and restaurants.
  • What a perfect stay. The cottage was so cozy and thoughtfully decorated. It reminded me of places I stayed when I traveled Europe, with the fluffy down comforter and pillows and the great use of space in the cabin. You'd never know you were sleeping on a (URL HIDDEN) was so comfy! Our hosts were warm with conversation and homemade cookies and lemonade waiting when we arrived. Great to meet another Finlander, we loved the sauna. Thank you!

    Sarah2016-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Duane's place is amazing and just as described. It was so nice to have a quiet cabin in the woods to retreat to and the surroundings were nothing short of magic. I really liked the fold out sofa bed and found it to be firm and comfortable. The sauna was pretty amazing too, and I took advantage of using it every day of my stay. Duane really goes out of his way to make sure his guests are comfortable, and at the same time leaves them to enjoy the surroundings in privacy. While I didn't take advantage of the golfing, it was beautiful to wake up each morning to the amazing landscape. I would highly recommend this listing based not only on the property, but also on the kindness of the hosts. I hope to return one day.

    Jeff2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy and Duance were great hosts! The cabin was very comfortable and felt very homey. They made us homemade bread, jam and cookies and everything was delicious. The property was beautiful and the huge trees around the cabin were spectacular! Would definitely come back.

  • Duane and Nancy are so warm and inviting ~ we felt so welcome to their place. The setting is absolutely magical ~ the beauty of your yard, your home and the cabin amazed us! And thank you for the delicious homemade bread and jam, the cookies (as well as the recipe!) and the other goodies in the frig. And the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We shall certainly return again!

  • If you are looking for a gorgeous place in which to relax, unwind, and experience the beauty of the NW, this is it! It served as our launching pad for a weekend in Olympic National Park, and it was just incredible! Cannot wait to return!

    Tim2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • A very lovely location in the middle of a cedar forest. The cottage was very well maintained, and our host even laid out fresh bread, homemade cookies, and homemade raspberry jam for us. A very quiet and peaceful location, but still a short drive to all the attractions of Bainbridge Island and the rest of the Kitsap Peninsula. They even had a Finnish sauna that they showed us how to use. All in all, an amazing stay. We can't wait to go back!

    Victoria2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the little cottage in the cedars. Nancy and Duane were very accommodating and in addition to providing anything you may have forgotten Nancy made fresh bread and blueberry jam. The location is convenient to the routes to Olympia National park as well as restaurants and quaint little coastal villages. We would love to come back! Patty and Victor

    Patty2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • I've never felt as compelled as I do now, after staying with Duane and Nancy, to write a raving review. My partner and I stayed at the Cabin in the Cedars for one leg of our mini-moon. It was by far our favorite part of our entire trip. Duane and Nancy were warm and prompt in all communications, from the moment we booked our stay to the moment we arrived, and until the moment they saw us off on our departure. The space is wonderful, and every detail has been thoughtfully curated. We loved the sauna, and the robes/slippers they include. The setting and their property is so beautiful, and their dogs are very sweet. We took a day trip to Olympic NP, which was about a 1.5 hour beautiful drive, with cute towns between. The trip to the Cabin in the Cedars is very easy from downtown Seattle, via the Bainbridge Ferry (which is lovely, and offers views of Mt Ranier - highly recommended). I can't say enough great things about Nancy and Duane. They were so considerate and generous, and gifted us a bottle of WA-state rose, after they discovered we had just gotten married. The home made bread and jam, fruit, bottled water, and more, that they provide was just a sweet finishing touch. Please go stay at this magical place!

Warm and cozy house a block away from Island Lake. This is a great house to relax in on a quiet no-outlet neighborhood a block from the lake. It's a short walk to Island Lake Park and less than 10 minutes driving to Silverdale.
This is a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood near a small lake. Soak in the jet tub in a large master suite or curl up in the den with a good book.
This is a nice quiet neighborhood with very little car traffic. Lots of trees and a good-sized yard. Less than 30 minutes to the Bremerton and Kingston ferries and 35 minutes to the Bainbridge ferry.

    Andrei2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for an entire month and had a wonderful stay. The location is safe, convenient, quiet, and relaxing. It's a short walk to the beach at the lake, and a short drive to anything else you would likely need. The porch is great for sitting outside as well. Joe was very communicative, responsive, and hospitable, and the house was well-stocked--dishes, linens, paper products, movies, games, etc. No complaints at all, and we hope to stay again!

    Nancy2014-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • While we did not get to see Joe in person, he contact with us was great. It was easy for us to access the house. The house was just as the pictures showed, and worked wonderfully for our family reunion. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house was very well supplied - with everything, and more (movies, tv shows, games that we had not played). The Lake Park was very close by. The location is GREAT for stuff in Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton and Seattle. We took our family to Poulsbo for a day, Seattle for a day, Point Defiance Zoo, and Aquarium.

    Daniel2014-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Joe was an excellent host! You could really tell that he went above and beyond to try to think of everything for airbnb guests - he even had an airbnb profile set up on the Amazon Fire TV setup. Everything was perfectly clean and in excellent condition. Both bedrooms are spacious, clean and crisp. The floor plan is very open and relaxing. The location is excellent - it is tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood that feels secluded due to the trees, with some parks nearby, but is still only about 10 minutes drive away from town. I highly recommend the stay.

Welcome to our Suite Retreat! Our conveniently located, lovely home is on a park like setting on a half an acre with many organic fruit trees. You will be staying in a clean, comfortable private bedroom, with a private bathroom down the hall. The kitchen is “shared” part of the day. We welcome fellow travelers and want you to feel comfortable here and enjoy our house and the beautiful Northwest. You may even spot a Bald Eagle in our trees or deer roaming that frequent here often!
In the mornings, you have the choices of coffee, fruit, cereal and a bagel or a muffin to get your morning started. Enjoy your breakfast out on the patio if it is warm enough to be outside. The kitchen is “shared” and is well stocked with necessary dishes. I am happy to share many items when permission is asked, (condiments/food staples, etc.). You will have your privacy at night because, we have sectioned off a portion of the house. We share the kitchen sporadically between 8:00am and 10pm. You may see us around the yard during the day if we are not at work. Our room is in the upstairs, but not over your room, so you won’t hear us above you. You will have freedom to come and go as you please with a coded entry at the kitchen door. It is a very quiet neighborhood at night. We want you to feel comfortable. We don't enter your room while you stay here but I like to keep the tile clean and wiped down in the bathroom at least every other day and empty trash.
If you are scheduled to work Harrison Hospitals or at the Sub-Base Bangor or Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, this is an ideal location between them. Our place is a superb location for exploring the Pacific Northwest! The Olympics are to our west with scenic views and hiking trails. Dyes Inlet is across the street from our “park-like” property. Concerts, wineries, restaurants, museums, theaters etc. are close by. Perfect for water sports: kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and boating. We’re 5-minutes from a local boat ramp. There are rentals for kayaks in Silverdale. To the east, across the Puget Sound is the Emerald City … Seattle. We are a 15-minute drive to the Bremerton ferry terminal. A 5-minute drive to Trader Joe’s and Costco, and a 20-minute drive to Poulsbo: a historic Scandinavian destination town! The YMCA is a 10-minute drive.
  • Very good people. Kind, friendly anf helpful. I feel so fortunate to have met them.

I was impressed with how clean everything was and how fresh and white all of the linens were. They were amazing hosts, provided great recommendations for the area as well as coffee and breakfast in the morning. If you stay here you're very likely to see some bald eagles as well!!

  • Shannon is a great host! She is very welcoming. Her home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Shannon goes that extra mile with lots of little extras just for you, popcorn and movies, lots of breakfast choices and great info on the surrounding area. The room is well appointed and the bed was awesome. Best sleep I have had in a long time. I definitely plan on a return visit.

My home is located on the end of a Cul-de-Sac in Suquamish, just 20 minutes to the Bainbridge Island and Kingston ferries, close to bus lines, Poulsbo, and en route to the Olympic Peninsula. You’ll love this home because of the quiet, restorative energy, the meditative spiral gardens and lush PNW air. Offering a comfy full size bed & a relaxed, peaceful ambiance. My place is wonderful for personal retreats & couples, children also welcome. Berries in summer season, coffee and tea, fresh juice.
  • Dori welcomed me with such warmth and beauty, it felt like coming home. Her delicious nourishing food, soothing garden and beautiful loveliness of being were so delicious, I didn't want to leave! Thank you for your wonderful light!

    Katherine2017-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Dori was such a wonderful host, and our stay was truly one-of-a-kind. She greeted us warmly when we arrived and showed us around the house, which was warm, cozy, and full of her artwork. My partner and I felt right at home at Dori's place, and the only downside was that our stay was so short. We would absolutely love to return, however, and perhaps use the art studio, which Dori kindly opened up to us. Hopefully we have a chance to do so in the summertime, as she has a lovely healing garden outside which we would love to check out.

    Marina2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Dori has a lovely home (and garden), and was an incredibly kind host. She was fun to talk with, and before I left she made breakfast, sang a song of protection for my further travels, and, when she heard I was a student, gave me a print of one of her works to help me meditate. I only stayed for one night, but I think this would be a great place for a longer, relaxing stay.

    Sam2017-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived late and left very early. Dori welcomed us in though. The house is full of colourful artwork, artefacts and books all all things healing and mysticism but we didn't get time to take Dori up on her offer of energy therapy or massage. Very convenient walk to my sisters house so that was great.

    ian2017-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • I was looking for a place to think and to escape from my world, and Dori’s home was perfect for that. The spiral gardens are interesting and meditative, especially with some insight from Dori. Her home is down to earth and completely open to use… or not, which made me feel comfortable. Dori was a wonderful host and person, welcoming and kind, and she also offers healing sessions if you would like. There are some great restaurants very close by as well. This Healing Arts Center (home) may not be for everyone, but if you’re looking for a place to stay that is thought provoking, artistic, and meditative, Dori and her home will work well for you.

    Dan2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Dori's home is a place of creative energy. It's an unpretentious place to be creative or to just think and meditate. Whether you want to be alone or engage in interesting conversation, Dori is a great host and very accommodating.

    Dan2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place is a little old but it feels nice and everything is clean. Dori is very welcoming. Good place to stay between Seattle and Olympic Park.

    Laetitia2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • I would summarize my stay in Suquamish as a materially modest yet spiritually rich experience, and I loved it!!! Dori’s (magnifying glass) garden is delightful, and the cat is pretty cute too. I would definitely recommend a visit to Suquamish by way of the ferry: on foot, with bikes, or with a car (…but I say ditch the car!). People in Suquamish are friendly and there are more shades of green there than I had thought possible (wild flowers everywhere too!). In June, the tide is low around noon (remember that). Leave Dori’s house and walk along Prospect to Division. There take a right until you come to Madison’s Street. Take the Suquamish Path. It is a very short walk in a temple of green: cedar, pine, ferns, song birds. One can stay there and think if that is what seems right at the time, or keep walking. The path brings you to the Suquamish Elementary School. Take a right along Park. This brings you to Geneva Street. Walk down the hill You can turn right along Augusta Av towards the Tribe’s Community Center/Boathouse, or you can walk straight towards Harris St and turn right towards Angeline's Park (good if you have small people along with you). Master carver George David made a ‘retablo’ to celebrate Chief Seattle’s daughter: Princes Angeline. Angeline's way brings you directly to Sully’s (you can get some friend oysters and/or fish and chips there!) If you want an amazing breakfast check out Scratch Kitchen! Plus, their brownie block and a strawberry rhubarb coffee cake are each pretty epic. Oh and their pizza slices!!!! You can just sit there by the water chomping on pizza and listening to the seawater pondering life (or pondering nothing). There is also a Agate Pass Café that opens for dinner (didn’t get to try it). I can say the team at both Scratch Kitchen and Sully’s offered great hospitality (and kindness is the finest finishing touch to any meal). If you reach the Community Center/Boathouse when the tide is low walk down the ramp and turn right . Walk along the beach towards Old Mans house!!! If it rains, don’t sweat it… it will only last 30 minutes and then it will clear up. Plus, there are some trees along the beach you can hide under for a bit. Old Man’s house site is small but the display tells a very interesting story particularly of you are into architecture, urban planning, and/or community building. From the park you can walk straight ahead up the hill and turn righ on Division Ave. This will take you straight to the Suquamish Nation Museum. It is wonderful!!!!!! Cedar is a miraculous material. Peg Deam masterfully weaves Cedar to show how garments are made (leveraging all the properties this fiber offers). If lucky there maybe be someone at the Museum who may know the Suquamish story of Creation and they may be willing to retell it to you. The museum also has a gift...

  • We loved Carol's spacious, modern and tidy guest house. The garden, the studio and it's many amenities, the access to the private dock on the water and the location so close to the excellent Suquamish Indian Museum, restaurants, historic towns, parks and to Bainbridge Island. Carol was friendly, helpful and welcoming.

  • Carol was very friendly and welcoming. She made herself available for questions. The studio was a perfect getaway and it was so nice to be so close to the beach and to the quaint town of Suquamish. I strongly recommend this destination for a nice weekend getaway. Carol was an awesome host!!

  • I have stayed in several areas of Kitsap Peninsula and her views are the most spectacular. Sitting on the deck of her boathouse and looking down to see the marine life was like having my own aquarium. Carol is extremely nice and welcoming and always available to provide assistance with your needs. The homes location is very private and serene. One can walk to "town" for s selection of restaurants and a well stocked market. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back. Sandra

  • Very comfortable and spacious living space. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very tidy, and living space was very peacful.

    Hannah2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Carol's place. We really enjoyed having a cup of coffee on the beach at low tide, and watching all of the marine life.

  • Great anniversary weekend at Agate Pass Beach House.

    Ranillo2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing space. We felt very comfortable at Carol's place. You have your own space, but are close enough for anything you need. We saw an otter bounce down the beach into the water while drinking coffee on her deck--need I say more?

    Brent2015-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house and location. Carol was a great host. She helped explain the town very well, and left us pamphlets with information. House was clean, and we loved the fire place.

The Shack is tucked into the woods on the beach. Enjoy the marine views, beach walks, peace, and its central location between Poulsbo & Winslow. Just a quick ferry boat ride from Seattle, you won't waste a day getting your vacation started. The Shack has a full kitchen with all the dish-ware and pots & pans you may need. There's a gas fireplace for instant ambiance and a wood stove for snowy nights. My cabin is perfect for couples or solo adventurers who miss going away to summer camp.
Welcome to the beach! Our darling woodsy cabin is nestled in the trees on the beach of Sandy Hook. Once an old WWII coast watchers shack, it has been a beloved vacation cabin for 50 years. The cabin is privately situated within a quiet family compound of other cabins. There are many relaxing and enjoyable areas to explore around the grounds including a Chinese pagoda, a Mexican pool cabana, hammock, and swing. Great beach combing, and good sand on a low tide. The cabin is perfect for two with a queen sized bed in a sleeping alcove. There's a romantic gas fireplace for instant ambiance as well as a wood stove if you really want to heat things up. Guests love the vintage 1950's yellow bathroom (back when they knew how to make a bathtub). A fully equipped kitchen with a Webber BBQ on the view deck makes for easy alfresco meals. Guests have travelled from all over the world to vacation at the Shack. Novels have been written here, music composed, relationships strengthened, and major life decisions made. The Shack is your retreat away from the noise of your life.
Centrally located six miles from either Winslow or Poulsbo, just a mile from the Clearwater Casino and a pleasant stroll to the Kiana Lodge. The old summer-camp neighborhood of Sandy Hook is along a two mile dead-end road that skirts the water. Friendly and private, perfect for walks and bike rides.
  • This is an awesome little gem hidden away in the trees on the water. It's a perfect getaway for two and the house has lots of character.

  • We had the best most relaxing 4 days in this great cabin overlooking the bay. We really enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The cabin had every amenity needed and we couldn't have been happier with our stay!

  • One of the most memorable and enjoyable vacations I've ever been on. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier with our stay. Heidi's Shack is beautifully put together. Anything that we ended up needing, Heidi had at the Shack. The scenery was lovely, and my wife and I loved exploring the surrounding area(URL HIDDEN)

    Jon2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Shack. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and Heidi & Paul definitely went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Highly Recommended.

  • This place is indescribably beautiful! A GREAT place for a secluded get-away from hustle and bustle. A short 2 mile drive will take you to a quaint town with restaurants, shopping, etc. The view from the deck is so peaceful and private--we happened to be there on a night with a full moon and watching it rise over the mountains and water was a memory we'll never forget.

    Lauren2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived to a welcoming bottle of wine. As we sat on the back deck Heidi arrived to greet us and answer any questions we had. The Sandy Hook Beach Shack was perfect for our weeklong vacation. The location made it perfect for visiting with our daughter who lives outside Seattle. It was just a ferry ride away. The setting is so serene. The shack provided us with everything we needed to get started and we brought provisions in town a couple of miles away. We had a nice family dinner of local fish. My husband and I just enjoyed the back deck watching the water, seeing the boats and watching the otters, a gray whale and birds. Meditating came naturally here. There is a temple and other signs to read to place you in the moment. We did a lot of sightseeing but coming back to the shack was the best part. You can walk the beach at low tide or swim in the pool on a hot day. Heidi and Paul gave us our privacy but were there for any needs we had. They are both interesting and enjoyable to chat with.

    Michele2016-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don't do it justice! It was an amazing little cottage with awesome views. Heidi was very nice and welcomed us when we arrived. There was also a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. We loved the decor and the personal touches. The decor is an eclectic mix of antiques, retro, and cabin items. There were pictures that showed the history of the land and ownership, comfy furniture and blankets. There was a drawer with games, cards and a lantern. It was very clean and cozy. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and store items if needed. The bathroom towels were so soft and there were soaps and other amenities for us. There were also two bags of ice in the freezer - just another thoughtful touch. The wifi was great. The view from the balcony was awesome. We enjoyed bbq'ing and relaxing while sipping on our complementary wine. :) Getting to the pool was easy and there were towels in the closet for us to use. The pool area was amazing. So many spots to just sit and enjoy the views in addition to swimming. I think the description says it's a community pool, so I didn't know what to expect. But, there wasn't anyone else there and it was in pristine condition. And when the tide is out, you have a nice rocky beach to walk out to and just take in even more of the coast. We caught an uber to historic Poulsbo and checked out some of pubs and shops. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was like being home away from home. We will definitely be back!

  • This was a nice place to stay. My best friend had his wedding at Kianna Lodge which was just a 5-10min walk down the road from here. So it was great to be able to park the car and be done with it (there is one spot for you to use, but note there is not a super large turn around space and the driveway itself is a little steep. If you have a big suv or truck you may have trouble). Everything inside was clean and as promised. Kitchen had all your basic dishware, coffee maker, pots, pans, etc. And a pretty cool looking vintage stove. The bed was comfy and had plenty of blankets and pillows to keep warm under. The living area had a nice couch and a couple chairs you could kick back on with a book (there are a number of books in the cabin you can borrow) and the water view for a weekend. Wood stove which we did not use but I'm sure would make for a cozy room on a cold day/night. There is no TV! Which we loved as we like to unplug when vacationing. Someone else might not. Overall good place to stay. Cabin is simple, complete and cozy. Price was very reasonable, much better than the casino and nearby hotels. I would stay here again for a personal weekend. We liked the cabin but felt we underutilized it given all the time we spent with my friends wedding. Thanks Heidi! - Rich and Aly

Come enjoy activities such as kayaking or paddleboarding on Liberty Bay, walking the beaches, browsing downtown Poulsbo shops, or accessing the Olympic Peninsula for hiking, biking, camping, and sailing. You will enjoy having your own personal floor in the house! The space has a bedroom with a double bed and a closet, a bathroom with heated floors and stand up shower, wood burning stove for fires in the winter, flat-screen HD television with DVD player, a large sectional couch that has a pull out double bed for sleeping 2 more, and a kitchenette with Keurig coffee/tea maker, a microwave, toaster, and a refrigerator.
Our location is in a quiet area surrounded by trees and open space, but is a 5 minute drive/10 minute bike/25 minute walk to downtown Poulsbo and the waterfront. Fish Park is a 10 minute walk away and is full of trails to walk or run.
  • Lew & June's place is a gem! They are wonderful hosts and have gone above & beyond providing everything & anything you may need or want! Great location and a "home away from home". They provide complete privacy but really enjoy meeting their guests too. We were there during the local 3rd of July festivities and they invited us to join them & few friends to watch fireworks from their back yard...such nice, welcoming & fun people! There were so many special touches that made us feel special (welcoming personal notes, fresh flowers, quality toiletries/linens, chocolates, snacks, etc)...definitely will stay there again when in the area!!!

    Lisa2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect for us! Far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to be accessible. They've put some really nice touches into it to make everything feel cozy and inviting yet still very open. Lew was really easy to work with and communication was effortless. We had a great time and would love to stay here again!

  • I stayed here the night before my wedding in Port Gamble. The house was very clean, easy to find, and very comfortable! Lew and June left a very nice congratulations sign in the house and had great communication prior to our stay. They were flexible when I had to add... and then cancel a night to the reservation. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Poulsbo!

    Tatiana2017-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great experience with Lew and June! My husband and I were traveling with our toddler and husband's mother. It was perfect for us as we wandered and explored most of the time and just came to sleep but for the more lazy mornings, we felt very comfortable. It was very central to town but still felt very cozy and secluded. We had a personal note to welcome us and LOVED the lavender hand soap in the bathroom and treats provided in the kitchen. The kitchenette was perfect for our leftovers, drinks and snacks we kept for the few days we were there! Also our location was great to Seattle to explore downtown or our day trip to Port Townsend. It was also so easy to get to Bainbridge to grab the ferry to Seattle. Poulsbo was a cute town with an AMAZING bakery. (Sluy's Bakery) We would definitely book again!

  • Staying at Henry's Boat House is one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. Cindy was so hospitable and thoughtful. She did not welcome us in person, but her communication about how to get into the house was clear and easy as it could not have been smoother. Besides that she had everything you need including a binder like a recommendation of what to do and see in the area. I emailed to ask her before about some good restaurants and places that I should check out. She made me an individualized list of places including descriptions and her opinions about those places. The house itself was so lovely. It had a better look than what we had seen in the pictures. All in all, we could not say thank you enough for her to make us enjoyed our stay.

  • We absolutely loved staying here. The place was very clean and very cute. The space was great and had everything we needed. The location is perfect - so quiet. The drive into town was very quick and getting to either Bainbridge Island or Silverdale was also quick and easy. The apples and cookies were a nice treat as was the water in the fridge - and the soap, toothpaste and shampoo were also a bonus. I would highly recommend staying here - you will love it!

  • The property and location were absolutely fantastic, tucked away, western exposure overlooking the water and Olympic Mountains. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and treated like family. Beautiful flowers and a fresh breakfast provided by Jan made us feel like we were staying at our own private Bed and Breakfast. Excellent recommendations of food, entertainment, parks, historical areas, etc. Our best AirBnb experience, would definitely recommend staying with the Jackson's for anyone thinking about exploring Bainbridge Island and wanting to wake up to the sounds of nature, not sirens or garbage trucks.

We enjoyed spending time on the large deck, using the fire pit and walking the grounds which included several fruit trees. The home makes you feel very immersed in nature, but is also well stocked with modern amenities, such as wifi. The host was extremely friendly and knowledgable regarding local tourist activities. The house is located back in the woods, but only 1.5 miles from the Farm Kitchen event venue. Should you have a wedding or other event there in Poulsbo, you can't beat this location. We would definitely return, should we find ourselves back in this area. The town of Poulsbo is also quite a treat! We highly recommend for a family reunion or get-away.

  • We can't say enough about what a wonderful experience we had at the Fox Glove house. We love the home, the owner Carl and his dog Roscoe. The home is very private, surrounded by huge cedar trees and ferns. There are apple pear and plum trees on one side of the beautiful fire pit. There are amazing decks around the house. Some are covered it is where we set up tables of food for a dinner party we had one night. It looked like something out of a magazine. Everyone had a great time. We then went inside where one of our guest played the grand piano located in the living room. Every part of the home is well thought out . The beds were very comfortable. Carl has thought of everything you could possibly need including the staples needed to cook with. He really cares about his guests and it is apparent. He is a delight to visit with as well, and makes you feel welcome in his home. We stayed at Fox Glove House for our sons wedding and weren't able to fully appreciate the property. I am looking forward to coming back to Fox Glove House to just enjoy the house next time. It's that amazing.

We ask that you respect our quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. If you are watching TV or listening to music, please use headphones or keep the volume low. Thank you! Our neighborhood is quiet, funky and charming. Take a four block stroll down the hill to check out the three local restaurants. Our dramatic new pier has a great view of the boat traffic and Seattle skyline. Bus routes to Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island and Kingston come right through Suquamish during weekdays. No buses on weekends however.
I love the Northwest because it is lush and green, and Suquamish is no exception. It's such a treat being close to the waterfront. Suquamish is a tiny town sandwiched in between larger Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo so....there's something for everyone. Clearwater Casino is one mile up the road with it's entertainment, night life, restaurants and spa. On a quieter note, there are three terrific restaurants just a 4 block walk from our house, right near the waterfront and fishing pier.

Saffronia is an excellent hostess who made me feel welcome and quite natural. The room is peaceful, clean, relaxing; the decor was tasteful and bed very comfortable. It is clear Saffronia cares about her guests and takes our needs very seriously! She is warm and positive and fun.

  • Saffronia's place was perfect when I needed a comfortable, quiet place to stay on the peninsula side of Puget Sound. I made a very last-minute reservation and she rallied to make it work on a Monday night! She's personable and knows what little details travellers seek. A lovely woman and a comfy bed. Highly recommended.

The room is on the small side, but has everything you need (including extra blankets and pillows in the closet.) She even has a cupboard for guest with granola and coffee, and offered me muffins and fresh fruit. Her home is a few blocks from the water front. A great choice for a Kitsap Peninsula get a way :)

Large private space on the upper floor of a farm house. There is a queen bed and a leather couch which folds out into a twin bed for one adult or two children. Lots of space for guests with sleeping bags if needed. The room is located upstairs; bathrooms on the main floor. No elevator access. Amenities include: heat/AC, free wi-fi and basic cable, coffee pot, microwave, and dorm fridge. Continental breakfast options upon request.
Poulsbo is a Norwegian town with lots of boutique shops, and is surrounded by water and snow capped mountains. There are plenty of outdoor adventures to be had. If you are a runner/walker, there is a great (almost 5 mile) loop to Island Lake, which is a great place to go swimming and fishing. We are very conveniently located between Bremerton and Silverdale. We are very close to Bangor and Keyport bases. We are 25 minutes from the Bremerton-Seattle ferry.
  • This place is amazing. I can't really describe how great this place is, It's something that you must experience first-hand. Denise and Kevin are amazing hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with open arms. The farm is like going into another world. Again, I can't explain it in words. Do yourself a favor and visit this place.

  • Denise and Kevin were very welcoming and open! The farm was amazing and entertaining and we had a great time playing with the goats and enjoying a nice boat ride on the pond! We will definitely look into staying here again next time we drive through Seattle.

  • Denise's place was a wonderful place to relax and get away from it all! She was so inviting and a super nice host. While it is close to Poulsbo, Silverdale and Bremerton, this is a nicely secluded area. If I was ever in the area again I would stay here!!

  • We had a wonderful relaxing planning weekend at The Farm Our favorite part was the Open Gate Saloon, we loved the pool table! Denise and Kevin welcomed us to feel at home and to help ourselves. Thank you both for a successful planning weekend and time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

  • From the moment my fiancée and I stepped onto this gorgeous farm, we knew we were in for a treat. Denise and Kevin are not only welcoming, gracious hosts, they have a gorgeous farm in a secluded area that’s straight out of a dream. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable trip. The many different farm animals that greeted us as we came in were also a treat. The ducks, chickens, and goats are all just as welcoming as Denise and Kevin! The farm is also only about a 10 minute drive from town if you’re looking to go into the Poulsbo historic district or the waterfront. We couldn’t recommend this place more!

  • One of, if not, the best AirBnb experiences that I've had. This cozy little farm has all the amenities you'd need and every detail is well thought out. I truly hope to be back here again sometime in the near future.
