  • This is a beautiful pace with a fantastic view...feels like home. Michele was a fabulous host, very concerned with my comfort and happiness. Even provided a tour down from his wonderful home to the town of Positano...I would highly recommend this amazing place!!!!

  • We simply loved our time at Michele's lovely apartment. The view was to die for, the apartment was really roomy and very well equipped. Michele was such a nice guy that we feel we now have a great friend in Positano. There is also a wonderful family run restaurant just 50 metres from the house which we highly recommend. This was our first ever stay using Airbnb so we hope it is s sign of many good things to come.

  • After spending 4 days in Michele's apartment, I can safely say I'd go there again, without a doubt. Granted, the weather wasn't too great, I was just by my self and I acquired cold, but Michele was very helpful and gracious and gave me good advises and offered his help if ever needed. The view is simply stunning, and it's such a short way from both Amalfi and Capri, as well as Pompei, so spending few days there, hanging around and/or being a tourist is bound to be great. The apartment itself was great, albeit a bit chilly in that chilly winter weather. But with both gas and electric heaters it's quite cozy. The private terrace, facing almost to the south, directly into the bay, is amazing! I hope to visit again later with good friends in summer time.

  • loved the terrace. the view is magnificent. Michele is really warm and helpful and helped a lot with all the advices of the area. will definitely come back if possible.

  • The villa is sizeable with a large terrace as described, and great view. We had it to ourselves - there is a second bedroom so great value if a family or 2 couples staying. Michele left us a bottle of red which was much enjoyed! Michele's communication was great and we found the place using the local bus service with his instructions. Recommend sending a message just prior to arriving so can be let in straight away. Only spoke briefly, but the villa is well set up with local information and bus times displayed. Small street outside quite busy in the morning so a bit of noise, plus dogs upstairs barked a lot - keep in mind if you are a light sleeper!

  • Michele was a wonderful host. We had no problem in finding the place as Michele assisted by meeting us where agreed. Michele makes time to explain details of the area and what is to be done. He made us feel welcome with free beverages in our apartment. The view of Positano was amazing and its definitely value for money. Thank you Michele for a wonderful time!

    Ernst2015-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Michele was one of the best hosts we have ever had. He was so helpful to planning our travel and was incredibly welcoming. He picked us up at the bus stop (and brought his pug along, which was fabulous) and was quick with all communications. The bnb was clean and nice, with a breath-taking view from the terrace. Michele went above and beyond by leaving us croissants, yogurt, water bottles, slippers, extra towels and bedding, and lots of information about the surrounding area. I would highly recommend Michele, this apartment, and Positano.

Casa Degli Angeli is located above Positano in a quite spot overlooking the sea in the village of Montepertuso. If you are looking to relax and be at only 15-20 minutes by bus or car from the busing and hectic Positano this is the place for you. "PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THE ENTIRE LISTING" as tourist tax need to be paid at your arrival in cash along with late check or parking fees.
Casa Degli Angeli is located at 4 km from the centre of Positano in the village of Montepertuso. If you are looking to relax in a peaceful location my flat is the perfect place for you. With easy access to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento and Capri by boat or by public buses.
To reach the property there are around 120 stairs. A bus stop is at only 5 minutes walk from the apartment that connect Montepertuso with the centre of Positano and the main beaches in 15-20 minutes. At only 10 minutes walk you have a great restaurant called il Ritrovo and a grocery store and a bar called il Pertuso. 15-20 minutes walk you have 2 more great restaurants with amazing views overlooking the bay of Positano called La Terra and La Tagliata.
  • We loved our stay near Positano. Having just arrived to Italy the home was perfect for those adjusting to a new schedule. The room was very dark, quiet, extremely comfortable for sleeping. When awake, opening the blinds the warm sunshine poured in and brings the warmth and sounds of the neighborhood. We walked to the Path of the Gods trail and easily walked into positano. Some breakfast, fruit and snack items were provided and we cooked some meals in the full kitchen. Lovely stay, very convenient to day trips to Capri and the Amalfi coast.

    Sally2017-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • The best AirBnB we've ever stayed at. The view alone was worth every penny. Montepertuso is a cute little hamlet accessible by stairs or bus. An unforgettable time. Perfect for anyone wanting to visit the coast and willing to walk to see the views that will take your breath away. The home itself is spectacular with two balconies overlooking the ocean and the village above. Great restaurants are located up the street. Highly recommend.

  • Our stay at Casa Degli Angeli could not have been better. Antonio was more than helpful every step of the way. The home was very clean and beautiful just like the photos. There were fresh strawberries, milk and butter in the fridge upon our arrival. Antonio was kind enough to make reservations for us at a nearby restaurant (there are a few within walking distance). This home is in a perfect location, nestled in the hills of Montepertuso (a small town above Positano). There is a bus stop at the top of the stairs that runs every hour which makes it very convenient to get back and forth to Positano (15 min ride). We enjoyed having more of a local experience, but still being able to hop on the bus into town if we wanted. I would highly recommend this host if you are planning to visit Positano. This was truly a wonderful experience and such a beautiful home!!

  • Antonio was a fantastic host. Easy to communicate with and very responsive. The apartment is beautiful and so quiet. It was lovely to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of Positano at the end of each day. I highly recommend this apartment if you want something quiet in a beautiful location.

  • Antonio's place in Montepertuso was a beautiful haven to stay in. It was quiet and the view was spectacular . Antonio and Angelo couldn't have been more helpful with restaurant bookings and recommendations, transfers and bus timetables. I would highly recommend staying there.

    Sarah2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • My God what a view from up there... This place is a true gem, a real piece of heaven right in the middle of nature; stuck between the mountain on one side and the view on the sea on the other side. The place has everything you could ask for, super clean and full of nice gestures from the hosts. Rather a quiet place, think of it more as a location to rest your mind rather than a place for going out - though Positano is available walking distance, only need to handle the 1071 stairs down and then back up... still we would recommend the stairs rather than the bus, simply for the views you get from there! A tiny small downside: there aren't many parking spots up there, so come with the smallest car possible, or even better with a 2 wheels vehicle. But again, it will all be worth it ;)

    Ed2018-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Positano very busy so book ahead if planning anything specific, we missed out on lunch at Laurito beach. Help with luggage much appreciated. Loved walk of the gods despite cloudy day, even did walk again to get home !!! Loved the village life after a hectic day

    Jane2017-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great position in Montepertuso, views as far as the eye cou,led see. Great place with all amenities. Angelo was always available which really came in handy when I needed a Doctor. Wonderful restaurants close by. Close enough to be close to Positano but far enough to be private

Welcoming home, located in Montepertuso's village, up on the hill of Positano, distance from Positano's square 20 minutes with local bus. Enjoy the simple things, you'll hear roosters sing, birds and locals grow their own vegetable gardens. Comfortable home, close to local bus stop, restaurants and grocery. Equipped with all comforts.
The house is situated in Montepertuso's village on the hill of Positano, it is composed on 3 levels : on the first floor american kitchen and dining room with a small bathroom, on the second floor the living room with a comfortable sofà opens onto a sea view terrace with table and chairs, on the third floor a bedroom with king size bed, (on request a baby cot), opens onto another terrace, ensuite family bathroom! The house is conveniently located just a short walking from restaurants, grocery, bar and the stop local bus! The house is furnished with taste, well kept and clean! It is surrounded by amazing scenary! From the terrace you have a view on the sea and the breathtaking scenary of the mountains! Several local hikes start in Montepertuso, for example; the Sentiero degli Dei (Trial of the Gods) and a hike to Santa Maria del Castello via Caserma Forestale. You can also reach the next village Nocelle either by foot or by local bus! To reach Positano center and beaches (about 3 km) you can catch the local bus, or stairs. From Positano you can do a daily trips; by ferry to Capri island; by Sita bus a daily trip to Amalfi and Ravello or Pompeii and Vesuvius volcan ! For futher information about your transfer to reach Montepertuso/Positano, let know to Antonio, can give you more details. Come to visit this Paradise !!!
In Montepertuso you live a simple life, you can still wake up with the crowing of the cock, you can enjoy the locals and watch them grow the gardens with seasonal vegetables, raise chickens and carry out their daily chores. Also you can hiking on the Hall paths is a few meters far from house.
  • Antonio was so helpful. He goes above and beyond to help you settle in. He even arranged our transportation from Naples to Positano! He gave us a ton of local tips and was so quick to respond. The place was clean and well decorated and the balcony view was perfect! It's about a 20 minute bus ride to Positano but the house is maybe 20 yards from the bus stop and you're within 50 yards of some of the best restaurants on the Amalfi Coast. We loved our stay!

  • We are pleased that we chose to stay in Montepertuso as we enjoy villages, interaction with local people, and wish to avoid crowds. Laura's house is well positioned, with views of the road, gardens and part of the piazza. The balcony on the middle level was excellent and each evening we were able to watch the activity of the village, while enjoying a glass of wine and sometimes dinner on the balcony. Laura recommended Il Ritrovo restaurant and we had dinner there 3 nights as it was so good. Each day we shopped at the local grocery store where we were always made to feel welcome. The kitchen on the ground floor was functional, the wi-fi worked well, and the bedroom was spacious, with adequate wardrobe space. We are used to a latex mattress and did find sleeping difficult. On the day we departed, for a small fee, we were fortunate to get a lift from Gaetano to Naples airport, as Gaetano had another reason for driving to Naples. It does take a few days to get into the village rhythm which includes waiting for the local bus which was always late. However, we were able to avoid the Positano crowds, but still do our daily trips to Positano, Amalfi, Capri, Walk of the Gods without any hassles. It was unfortunate that there was a 2 day SITA bus strike while we were on holiday, however that does not influence our assessment of the 'Nice house on the hill of Positano' which was good value.

    David2014-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was exactly as described. Laura was a very nice host. She helped us find a parking space in Montepertuso, which was an extra 13 Euros per day but absolutely essential for our stay because there was no parking space available except on the first day. August is the main holiday season in Italy. It was also not always possible to get onto the bus from Positano to Montepertuso, so you should be aware of these problems when you go there in August. But all this becomes less important when you see the beautiful scenery there.

    Michael2014-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We've used airbnb about 10 times so far, and this has been our best experience by far (and we've had great experiences actually!). The house is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. The location is incredible, with amazing views and far enough from Positano to be able to relax in a quiet environment, but close enough so you can even walk there every day (to come back I would recommend taking the bus though!). Clem was the perfect host, she picked us up from the bus station because she was afraid we would miss the last bus to Montepertuso (we arrived late) and had some wine, toast and jam for the morning and a little card ready for us on the kitchen table. We stayed there for 6 days and will definitely come back here the next time we visit the beautiful Amalfi coast.

    Hernán2012-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Laura's home in Montepertuso. Most all of our contact there was with her grown-up son, Antonio, who was very helpful and available when needed. We had rented a car, and used this to visit the towns of the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, and to get to a day long sailboat ride to Capri from Castellomare. We walked down and back up the hillside stone path to Positano--30 minutes down, 45 minutes up as it is a bit steep but good steps. "The path of the gods" trail is just uphill a bit from Montepertuso. Public transportation is readily available as driving the roads on the Amalfi coast is an adventure with narrow roads, many curves with limited visibility, and motorcycles and pedestrians. Montepertuso has a good coffee shop and general store; there our 2 good restaurants in the small town, and another good restaurant up the hill just a little further--many of the guests came up from Positano to these well-rated restaurants with excellent salads, pasta's, fish and meat, and Italian wines. The home itself was clean and very well-kept, and we comfortably stayed for a week. The kitchen, washing machine and internet work well. We thought that the value was excellent. We would enjoy returning again!

    Michael2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely gorgeous views of the sea and village. Our host was very informative and thoughtful.

    Kyler2018-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This property is spacious and very comfortable and well kept with an outstanding view and lovely space for relaxation. One should stay at least three days here. Positano is spectacular but very busy and over-run with shoppers and tourists. Montepertuso by comparison is the Amalfi coast most are looking for, it is quaint, and elegant, quiet, and authentic. Not a t-shirt shop in town!! Yet in 20 minutes by bus you are at the beach and in the heart of excellent shopping and restaurants. There is an amazing hike to Bomerano not to be missed. I would stay here again in a minute if returning to Amalfi area and I will recommend this to couples looking for a get away.

    Jonathan2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • I honestly can't say enough good things about Laura and Gaetano's place. The home itself is absolutely lovely; clean, spacious, large, airy, with all the accommodations you could possibly need. The balconies are icing on the cake; the views were so perfect that they consistently felt impossible. And the town of Montepertuso itself is like a little piece of heaven--everyone is so friendly and kind and happy to be there. Take time while you're there to walk up to the "hole" in the mountain; to walk along the Path of Gods (you pick it up in Nocelle, just a 10 minute bus ride away); to walk the stairs down to Positano; to take the bus back and forth up and down those hills (you'll never look at driving the same way again). Definitely visit Il Ritrovo restaurant, and walk down the road a-ways to get your coffee at Il Pertuso. Honestly, we can't wait to be back. It was perfect.

  • Villa Sofia is located at the top of Positano, right in the Path of the God's, in a small village named Nocelle. Away from the busy centre of Positano this is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. Beautiful views, and fantastic restaurants are close by. Luciana is a fantastic host, great recommendations for dinner, and helps in every way she can. We really loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

    Simon2015-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Luciana was a fantastic host. She received us at the bus stop in Nocelle (from Positano, takes 30minutes), and helped us with our bags to our villa and apartment. Breathtaking views in the clouds, a surreal breakfast prepared every morning with love by Luciana and her Mama's fresh made croissants and jam. Luciana also had some fabulous recommendations for activities and restaurants. She was kind , gracious, and we would come back again! Thank you for making our trip so special!

    Shaan2015-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • I fell in love with Luciana's family's B&B on the side of a mountain overlooking Positano. My room was lovely and I especially liked my patio where I spent a lot of time sitting and enjoying the amazing view. I appreciated the delicious Italian breakfast each morning and will definitely return with my whole family. Thank you for everything, Luciana. And give my best to your mother and father (please thank your father for the drive he gave me my first day). Arrivederci!

    Carol2014-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • From other posts you will see the location has a great view off The Path of the Gods. The luggage lift was necessary; make sure you coordinate that in advance. Luciana was very warm and welcoming:-) The room we were was very nice spacious large area for kitchen, dining & couch. The bedroom & bathroom were separate rooms quite spacious. The mattress was hard and springy which really needs to be replaced. In the shower you had to deal with scalding hot water or cold there was nothing in between hopefully that gets corrected or was just a temporary problem in our room. The refrigerator was great as well as air conditioning although you can sleep with doors closed with shutters closed to keep out any bugs etc. The wi-fi gets turned off late at night around 10 then back on in the morning around 7 which was fine but we were not away of that beforehand. The bus is easy to access but be aware catching the bus up to Ravello is not fun and you must deal with pushy people that will position themselves in front of you since there are no lines. Even if you get to the stop early prepare to fight your way on the bus. Then the bus driver will pack the bus with more people than you can imagine so be prepared in prime hours or high season. This is not a negative comment toward the B&B just reality other people have not mentioned. Personally for me the location would not be a honeymoon spot if using the bus system to get around; that's not how I would spend that special time. Breakfast was traditional pasteries and coffee with a beautiful view from the terrace. We enjoyed our stay and had great dinner at a restaurant within walking distance recommended by Luciana.

  • Villa Sofia is the most wonderful place ever! Luciana is a lovely host and she makes you feel so welcome. She makes sure you have everything you need. The villa is beautiful set in paradise. The views are out standing! The room is spotless. They provide a wonderful breakfast to start the day. When I arrived I truly felt like I had arrived in paradise. I highly highly recommend the stay at villa Sofia. You will never regret it.

    Christine2016-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • A little piece of heaven... Villa Sofia! Wow, we would recommend this accommodation to anyone. It was a major highlight of our journey through Italy. What a wonderful host, gorgeous view, and tremendous experience overall!! Luciana is delightful and personable, and greeted us with limoncello and fresh tomatoes from their garden - what a treat! We had a wonderful room with a private terrace overlooking the most amazing view of the Amalfi coast. We didn't want to leave! Coming back and staying much longer is a must!

    Kelly2012-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Villa Sofia is a magical place--on a cliff, overlooking the sea and the town of Positano. Luciana is a wonderful hostess--not just breakfast and other foods but lots of information. It's a place for people who like to walk and like the outdoors.

    Lucy Rose2013-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wow!! I really hate to say how wonderful it was because when word gets out we will never find a time it is not booked again!! The unbelievable meals they cooked us were the highlight of our two week trip to Italy and France!!The views may have had something to do with it but this place was amazing. Ok it was not the easiest to get to, but as we all decided sitting on our balcony drinking our Lemoncello and Proseco while enjoying our view. It was SOOO worth it. If we had just taken a plane there with no bus or stairs there would have been 500 people sitting on that balcony with us. Every step we took to get there was worth it!!! Luciana and her family went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect. The Villa was clean and beautiful!! But it was the views that blew us away!! No one could ever regret staying here.

  • Marco met us on arrival and helped us out with our planning for the stay. How to get where we wanted to go and where to eat. On top of that the place was really nice with an AC that helped us stay cool during the worst parts of the day. Also, we got some honed made tomato sauce which was a really nice touch!

    David2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay at Marco's place. Although we didn't meet in person, communication before and during my stay was excellent. I met his cousin Flavio who met me at the apartment to give me the keys and to explain some details. The apartment was well equipped and located in a charming neighborhood. Marco was kind enough to provide me with a fan when it was warm. I took the local train, Circumvesuviana, from Naples and it was a short walk to the apartment from the Sant Agnello station. Marco messaged me a video on walking from the train station to his apartment, which was very useful. There is a local market nearby as well as an excellent restaurant called Da Peppino. Getting to Pompeii and other parts of the Amalfi were easy to navigate to from the apartment. Thanks Marco!

  • Marco’s place was very conveniently located and easy to get around by walking or using the train. The apartment is very spacious, much bigger than I expected from the pictures. Marco was easy to get ahold of throughout the trip and all of his recommendations for restaurants were great. Unfortunately the WiFi was out (Marco did try to assist) the majority of our stay which made planning and figuring out directions difficult. The biggest issue was, Two of our four nights there it was very loud inside the building from 1-4am. People coming in and out, bikes starting, yelling, slamming doors which kept us wide awake.

  • This apartment is in a great quiet location and super close to the train station and grocery store. It is a 25 minute walk to Sorrento or take the train. It is spacious and laid out well. Marco is a great host with excellent communication. We were having trouble with the internet and he got on top of it right away. Despite his efforts we did not get a consistent internet signal the whole time we were there. The apartment was tidy however it had a very strong musky smell and we saw mold growing on the wall and toilet seat. We do understand they are old buildings and Marco is aware of it and is trying his best. He has a small dehumidifier running, which tenants need to empty. It would not be a good place for someone with asthma or respiratory issues. The bed was fairly comfortable but both sides kinda dipped down so it felt like you could roll out. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

  • Marco is a lovely, attentive host who responds to messages very quickly. He is always available to help with anything to make your stay in Sorrento comfortable. The apartment is satisfactory. It is very close to the Sant'Agnello train station which is a 2 minute train to Sorrento. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood.

    Viv2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Marcos place was excellent! Very quiet and a perfect place to stay when visiting the amalfi coast. A short walk to Sorrento (25mins) and train station about 5mins walk from his house. Marco was a great host and was always there to answers any questions we had. The home mad pasta sauce was delicious and such a nice little treat!

    Amelia2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Marco's place was exactly as described. It was very quaint and clean! Easy to find and very close to the train station. He's very quick to reply and easy to communicate with. I needed to have some laundry done and he was kind enough to take care of it for me! It was a good spot to stay in to visit the Amalfi coast.

    Sounita2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Marco's apartment, it was a perfect base to explore the local area and had great transport links. Marco was always happy to help and easy to contact, he even offered to wash our clothes for us after we got caught in a thunderstorm! He left us food and a fruit bowl on our arrival in case we didn't have time to go shopping. I'd recommend staying here!

  • My wife and I stayed in a four-star hotel in the area for one night, and then stayed at Vincenzo's apartment for two nights after two friends joined us for the weekend, and in retrospect I truly regret our stay in the hotel - Vincenzo's flat is excellent from many perspectives: It's very well positioned, it has an immaculate view from the terrace, and it's very nicely furnished - stylish and yet cozy. Even though we didn't get to meet Vincenzo he was very communicative and responsive. He also went above and beyond by leaving us some welcome-home treats which we enjoyed very much of course. We loved positano and we plan to go back, and when we do Vincenzo's will be our first option for our stay. Thanks!

  • We went to Positano to celebrate our daughter's birthday and it was just perfect. The house is fantastic and the view from the terrace is astonishing. Enzo is a great host and we strongly recommend his place.

    Luiz2016-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Enzo's villa. We've stayed in Positano a few times and this location and view are prime! It was well worth the short walk and the massive terrace is beautiful. Shower situation is the only shortcoming but very typical for the region and not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay if it's your one and only time to visit almalfi since it's the ideal view and location.

  • Positano in itself is just amazing, but it was even better by staying in this apartment. Arriving was easy, we met Rosalba where we left the car (with a special price and treatment, we could remove and return it as much as we wanted and it was a flat rate of 20 EU per day). From there 200m is the entrance to the building, the 100 steps that waits there might be frightening but I assure you after a few hours in Positano (there a hundred steps everywhere), this last part just before arriving will be the easiest part. The flat is very nice, big and comfortable. The terrace is breathtaking, the best part of Positano. Bathroom and kitchen fully equipped, and beds very comfortable and warm. We stayed at beggining of spring so we had some very cold days and the heating is meant to be only with the AC which wasn't working very well. First thing on monday Enzo had a technician there to fix it. Hot water is not enough for 4 people so you have to wait a while til the boiler recuperates. It has enough for one shower and maybe a bit more, not much. No problem with water pressure as with other reviews. We loved it there, next time we will come with warmer weather! And if not, be sure to bring your slippers :)

  • This is the perfect location, high enough to have a stunning view, but not too many stairs to exhaust you. We totally loved our time staying here, we were made to feel so welcome!

  • Enzo was really helpful for my parent to stay in the apartment. Apartment is fulled of antique and unique furniture and decoration, has stunning view. To have smooth check in, I have been communicated with Enzo for long time, he was very quick respond, and even he gave us good tips. Thank you

  • We stayed for 3 nights , two couples. Enzo kept in touch with me prior to check in. He gave us excellent transfer info , offered to arrange a Porter if we needed. on our arrival we were met promptly , was shown all the features of the apartment. It was nicer than advertised , centrally located close to everything . Beds were very comfortable and the apartment was clean and well stocked with dishes and towels. A bottle of welcome wine was a nice touch. Enzo responded immediately to our questions , restaurant recommendations were excellent and close by. When we return to Positano we will want to stay here again . Patio was nothing short of breath taking. Would highly recommend. Lots of stairs .... But welcome to Positano. • This apartment has hands down been my favorite apartment / destination that I have been through Airbnb. The view speaks for itself, and the location is dead center of Positano and the beach! Chiara and her husband Giuseppe were the best hosts and extend the best hospitality. We got a little lost finding it and Giuseppe was so nice when he found us and had a porter carry our heaving bags down the steps and right to the front door. Do not hesitate renting this apartment! You will not be disappointed!

  • Land of the stairs, but a breath taking view. Very centrally located. we came from Rome by train to Salerno and took a ferry to positano. the best seafood ever. you will not be disappointed.

My accommodation is close to La Pensione Casa Guadagno is a family character which was founded in 1957 by the initiative of Antonio Guadagno. magnificent panoramic views, the city center. You will like my accommodation for these reasons: the location, the people, the atmosphere and the neighborhood. My accommodation is suitable for business travelers and for couples on holiday, to admire the beauty of the Amalfi Coast.
  • They were responsive and friendly, helping us to book trips to Capri and a car back to Naples. The room had a great view and was just as described. Be prepared for a ton of steps, but that's true for anywhere in Positano! Great experience!

    Ethan2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVED our stay in Positano. We are already planning our next trip back! The room had the most amazing view from the balcony (we woke up to watch the sunrise every morning), the bed was comfortable, room was very clean, the breakfast was delicious, and they served the best cappuccinos ever! The accommodations were just close enough to all the shops and restaurants without being too close where it was noisy or too touristy. We were also just a 5-10 min walk from the beach - just depends on how fast you walk. Also, we received great recommendations for restaurants and instructions for transportation. The closest restaurant is less than a 5 min walk, and buses to Sorrento were like a 10-15 min walk (longer cause it's uphill). We were also close to the hike Path of the Gods! Like I said, it was an amazing stay! We're definitely coming back! There are a good amount of steps, it didn't bother us, but just an FYI.

    Tiffany2017-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay in Positano. Everything was clean and accurately depicted. Wonderful view from the balcony and great AC. Please listen to all of the reviews, a porter for your luggage is a MUST.

    Steven2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely hospitable welcome and a lovely view from the terrace. The room we had was in need of modernisation, but very clean.

    Stacey2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Would definitely book again! Was such a pleasant surprise. Filoteo booked us a car from Naples airport to Positano which was great since we weren’t familiar with how to get to Positano via public transportation, though it was a pricey ride, it was well worth the cost. It was fast, private, we were dropped only steps from Filoteo’s place and our driver was a local we had a great tour guide on our way to Positano. The location was great, more secluded but walkable to the beach and main square. If you are taking the public bus, the bus stop was about a 15 min walk away, so be careful if you have a roller luggage (we had a very good workout with all the stairs when we had to carry our small suitcases to the bus stop upon our departure). We arrived 4 hours before check in but Filoteo let us have breakfast and let us checkin early to an available room which was a life saver for us since we were on very little sleep from traveling and badly needed a nap before exploring Positano. The room was perfect (minus a full length mirror which I always prefer to have). The bathroom was clean and had all the amenities of a hotel. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and blankets in the closet. There was a safe and air conditioner too. And we had a private terrace overlooking which was perfect when we purchased local wine and came back to enjoy it on our terrace. The staff was great. They called us later in the evening to check if we wanted to book a private car again for our departure. The daily breakfast was delicious. The basics and more! Local pastries were amazing, must try. It was peaceful/quite area but aware that you can hear your neighbors as they walk by your room or in the halls. If I come again to Positano would definitely book again, especially for the summer.

  • Amazing place to stay! Great hospitality, the breakfast in the morning was delicious every day and if I ever needed any advice or guidance on the area or how to get from place to place, I was taken care of at the front desk! The pace was a huge part of what made my experience so perfect in Positano.

    Will2018-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Was a perfect place to stay in Positano. Close but not too close to the center. The bus stop was about a five minute walk from our room and it was very easy to come and go. If you want to stay here be prepared to carry your luggage through a couple of flights of stairs. They also offer a porter service if you'd like. It was a beautiful place with beautiful views. Had a great experience and would highly recommend this room!

    Nelly2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Attentive and considerate hosts. Room was in good condition. Need to be fit to travel the 400+ stairs to the beach - that's Positano though!

"Casa Primula" is a characteristic Positano house with typical vaults of the Amalfi coast, with an enchanting garden where you can admire the marvelous panorama and enjoy delicious outdoor dinners. The house consists of a bedroom and a typical Vietri style kitchen.
The B&B is in the heart of Positano, near the mini-market, laundry, bar. restaurant, hairdresser, post office and bus stop for Amalfi, Salerno, Sorrento and Naples. Along the steps you can reach the beautiful Positano beaches, dive into crystal clear waters and enjoy breathtaking views. In front of the beaches it is possible to admire the islands called "Li Galli", where art and dance become poetry. We are waiting for you in our paradise.
  • Our stay in positano was lovely. The place is small but charming. Salvatore was a great host, check in was as smooth as could be. He also very generously stocked the fridge with a few breakfast things, a mini bottle of prosecco and even homemade lemon cake which we thought was such a sweet touch. The location is fairly high up on the slope in Positano which was fine with us, it’s about a 12/15 minute walk down steps to the beach (a little longer on the way up!) but if you’re not good with steps maybe stay lower down. There’s also a little food shop just opposite which was super convenient, and we have to recommend the olives there, the best we’ve had in Italy! The only negative thing I could say is the photos in the listing are a tad more polished than the actual place, in particular the bathroom as you have to mop up the shower water, but we didn’t mind. All in all a sweet stay in a beautiful part of the world.

    Morgan2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Salvatore’s apartment was amazing! He was an incredible host and gave us tips, bread, and wine upon arrival. He also had the room entirely ready for my early arrival and was helpful in showing us around the room. The apartment is a 15 minute walk down to the beach. The walk up is somewhat difficult, given the amount of steps you have to climb. Needless to stay, I would recommend everybody to stay in Salvatore’s apartment in Positano!

    Winslow2018-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Salvatore’s place was amazing, perfect location towards the top of Positano, short walk down. Close to the first Positano bus stop, so when coming, don’t go to Sponda (the second stop) make sure to get off at the first stop. Salvatore welcomed us with delicious prosseco and grapes. The apartment is small but all you need in such a petite town like Positano. Would recommend staying here and hoping to come back again soon!

    Nancy2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Salvatore is a great host. Very friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment was perfect for us. You can reach the beach in 10 minutes and the bus station in 2 minutes. Just in front of the house is a small grocery shop. We especially enjoyed to sit in the sweet little garden where you have a wonderful view over Positano, the mountains and the sea.

    Maria2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I really loved our cute list apt and outdoor terrace. It was so beautiful and just as cute as the pictures. It’s definitely a climb to get to the apt so you should catch the local bus and get off at the stop near villa França. Luckily the bus stop is right in front of the apt! The views are spectacular. And you’re only a couple of stops or a short climb down from the cute restaurants like da Vincenzo and Mediterraneo. Though Salvatore doesn’t speak much English his gestures and mannerisms are super clear and you’re able to text with him on (Hidden by Airbnb) if you need anything. Would recommend! Just be prepared to either have a taxi waiting for you when you arrive or hire a porter service (I recommend hiring in advance for your bags) and hopping on the bus. They don’t really allow luggage on the bus...we convinced them to let us on and we paid a bit more. Salvatore can help you set up your porter service so you have a stress-free arrival and departure as you don’t want to attempt to lug bags up to the square or even worse up the hills!

    Bianca2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing apartment with everything you need, beautiful view from the front. Check in was easy and quick. Definitely recommend this place to anyone

    Lucy2018-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Salvatore's home was perfect for our three night stay in Positano. His sister greeted us and showed us around the cute one bedroom apartment and how to use everything. She even had a little cake and bottle of persecco waiting for us, which was so lovely. The apartment is well located close to the city center and also to the SITA bus to Amalfi and Sorrento. We'd definitely stay here again if visiting Positano!

    Laurel2018-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t hesitate, just book this perfect little apartment! We can’t say enough about Salvatore and Casa Primula... the location couldn’t be better, the apartment was spotless, and Salvatore had homemade bread and prosecco waiting for us! It rained one day and we opened our door to two umbrellas thoughtfully left for us. The view... oh the view. I’ll never forget it. Thank you Salvatore!

Same view of my other apartment: you have access to the big terrace by walking up around the building for about 100 mt.
    Our studio is located in the Fornillo district, 15min walking from the center of Positano, 2min by bus. It has a double bed and include sofabed that can accommodate a child or third adult guest. There's a small basic kitchenette, bathroom, a beautiful window ovelooking the sea and the access to the stunning big terrace shown in the photos. The amazing sea view from the window will take your breath away. To get to the studio there are steps to walk from the top main road, so we don't recommend our accomodation to people with mobility problems. Being Positano a vertical village builded on a cliff, expect to climb a lot of stairs up and down everywhere! We are close to the followings bus stops: -Sita bus (from Sorrento/Amalfi); -FlavioGioia bus (Positano local bus); -Marozzi bus (from Rome);
  • We had the most wonderful visit at this beautiful place. The location was perfect and the view from the apartment was stunning. We wish we could have stayed longer!!

  • Beautiful Apartment, very cozy/homely! Elisabetta was very accommodating and very happy to assist finding your way around Positano! The views from the Apartment were phenomenal, was so lovely waking up to such beautiful scenery. Apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. Thank you so much again :) x

  • Elisa (Antonio's sister) was very responsive from the first moment we booked with her. She gave extremely detailed directions to the apartment, and even went so far as to help me with ferry schedules and other more detailed aspects of my individual journey to Positano. Her English is nearly perfect, and she was a truly wonderful hostess. She met us at the bus stop and made us feel very welcome! The apartment is BREATHTAKING and perfectly situated for a lovely walk down into Positano. Lots of steps, but the views are amazing and well worth it :) She also recommended a fantastic place for dinner. We loved her almost as much as the apartment!

    Madeline2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Antonio's apartment was a great place to stay in Positano. The view was absolutely breath taking. Be prepared to walk a lot, there are tons of stairs to get to and from the apartment. The apartment was clean, and had everything we needed.

    Ashley2014-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A small apartment at the end of a large house- this place does what it says on the tin. My one tip would be to travel light as it is several hundred steps up to the road or down to the village. We know Positano pretty well but we brought far too much luggage and we struggled! Once there though the bed was comfy and the view amazing!

    Ross2014-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place kicked butt. What a wonderful view and what a wonderful family. They lent us an iron when we needed one, they assisted us in booking a porter to take our bags down the multiple flights of stairs and were so responsive when we asked questions. Loved the view!

    Scott2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nice clean apartment with amazing view. Be prepared to take a lot of stairs to get anywhere.

    Sergei2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved this apartment! While the stairs to the place can be hard going, it's worth the views awaiting! Great communication, lovely decor in the apartment and public buses make it easier to get from the town centre to the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment, just do some stair practice before arriving. Thanks for sharing your place

Town centre - A wonderful one-roomed apartment with a private terrace and a sea view, bathroom and kitchen, in the town centre and 10 minutes walk from the main beach.
The apartment is awesome and has an awesome private terrace. But what makes the apartment unique is its location, right in the town centre where all the shops and restaurants and the beaches are.
The neighborhood where we are located is called "Fornillo", which is italian for "little oven". It's one of the most exclusive, central and quiet neighborhoods of the town. Just next to the house there are a number of very famous (and not necessarily expensive) restaurants.
  • The room is nice and clean and corresponds to the pictures, with a lovely view from the balcony. The position of the apartment is uphill, just 15 minutes walk down the stairs for the small beach and about 25 minutes walk to the big one. Perfect if one likes walking. The double bed consists of two mattresses sticked together, and it is not the most comfortable but just OK. The breakfast is very basic. Regina and her brothers are extremely kind and always ready to help if you have any problem. I would go back :)

    Marco2015-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Regina was super friendly and easy to communicate with ahead of time and while there. The apartment was perfect for our needs: clean, nice bathroom, free wifi, far enough down the hill to make a walk to the beach easy, and close to good restaurants and shops. We should have planned to stay longer!!

    Steve2015-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately we did not get to meet Regina in person, but we got to meet her very, very sweet mama who showed us the appartment. We stayed in touch with Regina during our stay and she even warned us when all boat service was cancelled due to the rough sea, and advised us on how to best leave Positano. The appartment has a lovely balcony with wonderful view. It is conveniently situated on walking distance from the centre and the bus station for trips to Sorrento or Amalfi. The place was super clean and Regina even left some snacks and drinks for us. We had a lovely stay and the place is warmly recommended!

  • We had a lovely 2 days in positano. We didn't meet Regina but her mum was lovely. Great location, lovely terrace

    Kate2016-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our 2 nights stay at Reginas. Regina met us on arrival, gave up some tips of things to see and do and where to find food in the off season (Positano was a bit of a ghost town but we loved it!). She was the loveliest person and very helpful. Quick and easy to communicate with and willing to help with anything we needed. Great location and not a bad walk to the central area of shops and beach. Wish we had longer to stay. Being the off season a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed but if your more there for the sights and we were it was perfect. Such a beautiful area and apartment had everything we needed and more. (The oranges were delicious!!) We met Reginas mum on the morning we left and can see where Regina gets her lovely nature from. Thanks for the great accommodation and time =)

  • A little difficult to get to, especially if you’re taking the ferry into Positano, however overall a nice place to stay. A LOT of steps down to the beach or to the main square however that is to be expected in Positano and for this price. The balcony has a beautiful view. The space is very small, however it has everything you need for a short stay (a bed, bathroom, and WiFi). Regina and her family are very kind and do everything they can to make you feel welcome.

Casa Toby is located in the small town of Montepertuso above Positano. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity then you will love this corner of the Amalfi Coast. You have close at hand some amazing mountain hikes, beautiful views of the coast and you are a short bus ride away from many local attractions. The apartment is on the top floor of the building with its own terrace, kitchen/diner and a short flight of steps brings you to the bedroom and bathroom. I hope to welcome you soon.
Guests can use the entire apartment, that includes the terrace, the fully equipped kitchen/diner and the en suite double bedroom with a comfortable orthopedic mattress.
The apartment is in a quiet residential area with beautiful views of the sea and surrendered by mountains. A 5 minute walk takes you to two restaurants, a grocery shop and the bus stop to Positano. We love to live here because is quite and peaceful, we enjoy taking walks in the mountains but at the same time we are also close to many local attractions.
  • best decision of our trip to stay here. its a little bit further from town, but it was a perfect getaway from the bustling town of positano and the horde of tourists. here, you actually meet the locals and feel a connection to the area. location wise, casa toby is conveniently placed within 3 mins walk from the bus station that takes you down to positano. there are 2 lovely restaurants nearby and a grocery store. so its super convenient. we contemplated driving there but was glad that we didnt, as the roads are very narrow and difficult to navigate federico was an amazing host, he was very friendly and provided alot of information. also, my partner and i, were looking for an authentic italian cooking experience and for a fee, federico thought us how to make pizza from scratch in his traditional pizza oven on his patio. it was truly a great experience feasting on the multiple pizzas weve made throughout the night and the lovely appetizers and dessert federicos gf Lara made. the view from our apartment was amazing. the aparment was clean and had everything we needed; washing machine, towels and etc.

  • Federico is an amazing host! He gave us very helpful advice throughout the trip, even arranged a cab for us on the way back. The place is well equipped with all amenties and has a beautiful view. It's a 30 min walk down the stairs to Positano.

  • We enjoyed a two night stay at Federico’s apartment with stunning views of the coast and mountainside. Federico’s home was immaculate and we had everything we could possibly need. His hospitality is the best we experienced during our trip to Italy. We visited in November during the “off season” so we felt like we had the entire town to ourselves. We experienced a slower pace with less “touristy” type things to do which may or may not be for you. Looking forward to returning some day soon!

  • I cannot say enough good things about Federico & his place. What a gem. From his amazing hospitality, to the PRIME location, I couldn’t have hoped for a better Airbnb experience. Literally 3 minutes walking from the place is a cute market, fantastic restaurant, & a bus stop. Also right next to his place, are stairs that you can take down to Positano with breathtaking views of the coast the whole way. Public transportation is rather simple and the locals are so helpful and nice. My favorite part of Federico’s apartment was the clean/ comfy bed & the dreamy patio over looking the water. I have been around the world but I have left my heart in Positano. You will be happy you booked here. Thanks again Federico!

    Naz2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible! The view from your balcony is breathtaking. Federico gave me a bunch of great tips for local hikes and cool things to do and see around the Amalfi coast. You are up above Positano which is nice to get away from the craziness of all the people and traffic and just relax on the balcony. Very comfortable homey feel to the house. Would definitely come back.

    Rachel2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Federico was a great host! He met us by the bus stop, gave a lot of suggestions about what to do and were also very friendly. The place was amazing and the view was great! Also take the steps down to Positano, it’s totally worth it!

  • What a spot! We wish we had booked for longer. And the accomodation suited us. It is situated in a small village above & away from the hustle & bustle of Positano. But captures the breathtaking views to be had above Positano so well. We loved the walks from here and will come back to this place we hope one day. Simply stunning

B&B Dimora del Podestà is located in the heart of Positano, on the main street of the town, in the neighborhood of Fornillo, one of the most lively and authentic of the town. The building has a characteristic Pompeian red façade and takes its name from a sign dated back to 1955 in memory of the Podestà (chief governor) of Positano.
The bedroom Carmè can host up to 4 people. It features a matrimonial bed and a divan bed for 2. It has a private bathroom with fully enclosed shower and hairdryer, a private sea-view balcony, a tv, air conditioning, a cieling fan and free Wi-Fi Internet connection.
The B&B is located half way between the two main beaches in town: the Fornillo beach, small and quiet, and the Spiaggia Grande beach, that you will reach passing by the main church and the famous historic alleys, full of small shops and boutiques. At about 80 meters you will find the Fornillo Grotto, where every year at Christimas time the locals set up the nativity scene. In the same building you will find the Restaurant Saraceno d’Oro, family business since 1964, that serves typical local dishes. As guests of the B&B you will have a special 10% discount on your bill!
  • Greatest location!! Awesome views! Great service and a wonderful breakfast every morning!! Can't wait to come back!

    Dana2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Pietro's. We loved starting each day with breakfast on the balcony. The place is in a great spot - close to Fornillo beach and Positano beach. Highly recommend doing a cooking class with Pietro's mum at one of the family's other B&B's in Praiano. Pietro organised us a reliable and comfortable transfer back to Naples which we would also recommend.

    Jack2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best Airbnb's i've ever stayed at! Fantastic and extremely helpful host, amazing food, great views, awesome restaurant & great staff! If i were to go back to Positano I would definitely book into here again.

    Lewis2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Five stars is not enough for Pietro’s place! The location is perfect — high enough on the hillside to have a beautiful view, and yet low enough so that it’s possible to walk to the beach. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a spectacular breakfast brought to us on our terrace each morning. We loved the family-owned restaurant downstairs, where the food was wonderful, and they made us feel like extra special guests. Book this place!

    Vickey2018-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • You will not find a warmer or more hospitable family, a better view or a more well-located place to stay in Positano. We spent 4 wonderful nights with this family owned and operated BnB, complete with terrace breakfast brought each morning and a fabulous restaurant downstairs serving incredible Mediterranean delights at lunch and dinner. One stop is all you need.

    Lesley2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Pietro was a great host with a wonderful team. The room was perfect for us. Spacious, airy and clean. The view is amazing- such a beautiful place for breakfast on the balcony. The location is ideal, with close proximity to both Fornillo and Positano main beach. We would be very happy to return. Highly recommend getting Pietro to book a car transfer from the airport.

    Amber2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Best airbnb experience! The location and atmosphere was perfect. Loved the breakfast too. Pietro was really helpful

  • Dimadora del Podesta is the perfect place to stay in Positano. It’s walkable to both of the beaches, restaurants, and shops. Pietro, his mom, and all of the hosts were extremely nice. We were served breakfast on our beautiful balcony and Pietro arranged a take-away breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning to catch our flight. The family owned restaurant below the rooms is very good! The pizza was the best pizza we had in Italy! We enjoyed water, beer and wine from the convenient honesty bar, our room was nice and clean and felt very private. I definitely recommend Pietro’s place to anyone staying in Positano!

The B&B VENUS Inn is in an excellent position to reach Fornillo beach , to enjoy Italian cuisine in family restaurants and discover the beauty of Positano. The added value? The terraces of the rooms!!

  • Gippy was a great host for our first Airbnb experience. The welcome he gave us, along with the fine location of the Venus Inn, helped ensure a pleasant stay for us in Positano. It lived up to our expectations in being a friendly setting.

    Lucia2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Gippy lives up to all the reviews that I had read about him: friendly, helpful and known by everyone. The accommodation was very good- lots of stairs but that is Positano. The location was excellent and only 15 minute walk downtown, literally. For niello beach was cheaper than the main beach but watch the 450 steps coming back up. A walk around via the main beach and up the road is an easier option on the thigh.

    Luisa2013-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We spent three great nights at Venus B&B, overall an excellent experience! Gippy was the perfect host and really made our time in Positano one we will never forget. The views from the B&B are breathtaking, our rom was spacious, clean and we loved our balcony with views of the sea and town. Thanks Gippy we hope to be back!

    Valerie2015-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • I booked B & B Venus Inn because it looked beautiful and all the reviews said Gippy was a great guy. Both of these things were true in real life for us. Gippy was so friendly and helpful and we always looked forward to speaking with him each morning. Our room was as beautiful as in the photos and the views from the B & B were gorgeous. I think this B&B represents great value for money and I recommend both Gippy and B&B Venus Inn. I would definitely stay there again.

    Jan2015-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • This B&B was in a great location, only a quick walk to the main square. Gippy gave us great recommendations for things to do. the room was big and had a great view. I'd recommend for anyone!

    Kyle2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Positano with Gippy. He is a wonderful host - very hospitable and helpful. He was there personally each morning to serve breakfast and chat up with each of the guests. The inn itself is located in the earlier section of Positano. Its a 15 mins walk to the main town centre and main beach. The inn however, has access to a smaller beach which is more secluded and less crowded than the main beach with some great restaurants. Positano is a lovely quaint destination to just unwind and kick back a few limoncellos :)

    Aban2015-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • I was weary about the B&B Venus Inn itself but from the reviews could understand that Gippy was the reason people loved their stay. This was the same experience for us. Gippy was wonderful, easy to reach, he helped take our heavy backpackers bag closer to the B&B to save us the trip. Gippy's recommendations for everything were great. We had an amazing time and ate great food at more reasonable prices (for Positano) thanks to Gippy's recommendations and the discounts at the restaurants he supports. Positano was our favourite town of all that we visited because of its sheer beauty. We met and chatted with other travellers on the terrace which is the best part of this B&B. The view for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Some downfalls: the room is very cold without the heater at night, which took some time to figure out but once working can be quite loud. Make sure you know how to use it at check in. The shower was very small and water pressure was unfortunately the poorest on our trip. Wifi was not working in the room and could mostly be accessed from the terrace. Lastly, because we had a room with a fridge and stove breakfast was extra for us although I thought it was included, please confirm these details before/upon your arrival. Overall, B&B Venus was very spacious and clean and a good alternative to a pricey hotel in beautiful Positano!

Beautiful house just restored with many comforts , that will welcome you in confidence between the vaulted ceilings and panoramic views. 1 bedroom, 1 double bed, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, terrace. Comfortable, adjacent to the first parking and the bus stop "Mangialupini", as all the houses there are steps (60)
Comfortable and confidential. Ideal residence for a holiday for who loves the sophistication and quality of living
Situated in a district of Positano called Fornillo. Really reserved, in a good position in Positano. Quiet because not so near the main street but well connected. With a pleasant walk to reach the center of the town.
  • Casa Baker leaves nothing to be desired. Spotless and perfectly equipped. Great communication before, during and after our stay. Be ready for hills and stairs. Easy to get up and sown the Amalfi coast- bus or ferries. We had Sergio collect us at the train in Sorrento, a day trip to Pompei and another ride to Sorrento at the end of out stay. He and Verena treated us like family. If you are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast, look no further than Casa Baker.

    Trish2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot recommend this place high enough. It made our holiday. The location is perfect: the view, easy access to the beach. Food: even when your tired, getting some take away from the local wine/cheese shop (we recommend the eggplant parmigiana). Emilio and Verena recommended Sergio for our transport and I cannot praise him enough. His knowledge on the Italy is amazing. It is like having your own private tour guide.

    Shane2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Do not pass up the opportunity to stay at Casa Baker. The view is phenomenal. The crew was incredibly kind and helpful. The location is far enough away from the noise of the lower part of town, but close enough that everything is easily accessible. This place will always hold a special place in our memory!!! Plus, Sergio, Casa Baker's recommended driver/excursion guide is the best!

    Erika2018-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • There was a slight problem with the directions for finding Casa Baker, but the owner is aware of this and has presumably fixed it. The managing agent was extremely attentive and helped us with everything and clearly explained all that we needed to know. She ended up coming back on demand to assist us with an electricity issue.

    Michael2016-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say - the BEST airbnb stay so far. There is a big part of me that doesn't want to say how incredibly WONDERFUL and PERFECT this place is, as, once you've stayed, you feel like you want to keep it a secret! But the apartment is beautiful, stylishly decorated, has the most wonderful terrace, provides everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean. The personal touches are wonderful and the communication with the hosts was brilliant. I really cannot rate this place enough. We loved every minute. Be warned, you will want to go to the local stores and stay in at night as much as you'll want to explore the spectacularly enchanting Positano. We will definitely be back and hopefully sooner rather than later. Huge compliments to the hosts who have excelled here.

    Emma2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Casa Baker was so wonderful! Our stay from start to finish was exceptional. The house is fully upgraded with sparkling and purified water on tap, Netflix, a fully loaded kitchen, and air conditioning. The kitchen was a big deal to us because we had been traveling throughout Europe for a while and wanted to be able to cook some homemade meals. The kitchen had a wide variety of cooking utensils as well as some seasonings, oil, noodles, and sauces. We were greeted by a wonderful property manager, Verena. Verena was there to help us from start to finish and was only a text or phone call away if we needed any help or recommendations during our stay. She even carried my suitcase up the four flights of stairs upon arrival. Side note, Positano is on the side of a mountain so expect stairs wherever you go. Casa Baker only has about 4 flights of stairs while I have seen other apartments that have hundreds of stairs just to reach the front door. Casa Baker is pretty central. It is about a 15-20 minute walk down to the beach but there are many shops and restaurants along the way that kept us occupied during the walk. Conveniently there is a bus stop right outside the Airbnb so if we ever didn't want to walk we took the bus. Emilio provided each of us with a bus ticket upon arrival which was very nice of him! Emilio also owns a little grocery/deli/pastry shop right up the road from the apartment. We went there one day to get panini's and we're able to meet Emilio there. He was so generous and gave us some snacks to have with our wine. He wanted to make sure our stay was perfect and reminded us that if we needed anything they are just a phone call away. Just a couple more things to touch on. The wifi was great and fast. The condo is one bedroom two bath with a Murphy bed in the living room. For some reason we were under the impression that there was only one bath so we're very happy when we found out there was two. Lastly, the balcony is amazing and the views are breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Barker and recommend it to anyone wanting to travel to the beautiful town of Positano.

    Kelsie2017-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Our favourite stop in Italy. Emilio was very helpful in assisting our arrival in Positano. He recommended a local driver Sergio, who was amazing. Sergio picked us up from Naples and provided a lot of historical information and a couple of stops for pics on our way. We were met by the property manager Verena, who was very helpful. She showed us through the apartment and gave us lots of tips for the area. The apartment was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom fantastic. As we were staying in Winter, most restaurants were closed. The kitchen was great with everything we needed. We made friends with the local grocery shop owner who was very helpful with helping us put together great meals. We caught the bus to Sorrento and Amalfi and it was very easy. I can highly recommend this apartment for a great stay.

    Sue2017-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a must! Yes, there are a few steps you have to take to get to it but that is normal for most places in Positano. He did such an amazing job designing this space with every thought in mind. The filtered fresh or sparkling water from the faucet was perfect, never had to buy water bottles. The views are phenomenal and Verena was the best tour guide! She helped you understand everything about the area and where to go for all meals and experiences. Highly recommend Casa Baker, they are the best!!!

  • This place is absolutely perfect. You can walk everywhere and yet it's secluded enough that you feel like you're in your own private part of town. The views are amazing and everything was even better than described. Highly recommend!

  • The home was very clean and welcoming!!! Ciro met us at the pier and helped carry our luggage. He is very kind, warm and welcoming! He had a typical Italian breakfast of bread, jam and yogurts for us daily. The view...picturesque!! Ciro offered to make arrangements for us for our departure and remained with us until our driver arrived. Wished we could have stayed longer. Positano is a beautiful town and Ciro's warmth left a lasting impression that makes us want to return again...soon!

    Marcella2016-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Ciro's parents met us and helped with our luggage. The walk up 159 steps was challenging, but worth it. The house is exactly as it is described in the listing. The house was very clean.

  • The 120 steps up to the apartment were difficult with the luggage but the sea view was fantastic from the terrace. It's remote and quiet but the walk into town isn't far though. Ciro was easy to communicate with and helpful with local information. All in all a nice stay.

  • This was a perfect place to stay in Positano. It is located right at the start of the pedestrianized area so eliminated some of those Positano steps the town is famous for. It is right near the local Positano bus stop and a short 10 minute uphill walk to the Sita bus stop to other areas. We had a lovely bakery & mini grocery store immediately nearby. Four of us stayed quite comfortably in the apartment - the rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and a nice distant Positano/water view off the two small balconies. There are 2 bathrooms - the smaller one has a low ceiling you need to watch out for so we used that as the secondary bathroom. The main bathroom is off the bedroom and was quite big. The room with the pullout bed served as a 2nd bedroom and sitting area. Chiara was a wonderful hostess - very responsive to my questions before our arrival. On arrival she showed us through the place and gladly provided details of the area. We stayed for 6 nights and Chiara was readily available throughout. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to make it back one day.

    Lynda2016-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • A good size apartment in a brilliant location, right in the centre of Positano but nice and quiet. The pedestrianised street outside the apartment takes you down to the beach, ferries, etc in 5 mins. The high ceilings and tiled floors of the apartment keep it very cool and the views are fabulous. The bus stop for the town circular bus along with the bus that goes to Nocelle are just outside the main door. The buses for Amalfi and Sorrento are at a different bus stop about 300 metres further along. Due to the location, there are lots of restaurants on the door step. Chiara and her family live in the same building so are close by for any questions and exchanging of keys. Chiara also welcomed me with a lovely fruit bowl. Would highly recommend for a stay in Positano.

    Sarah2015-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and i visited Positano from Australia and stayed at Chiara and Joseph's place in Piazza Mulini for 5 nights and we wish our stay was longer! The apartment was even better than the photographs looked! The view to wake up to each morning was so beautiful. There is so much space in the apartment. Two Huge rooms and two big bathrooms. It really was perfect. It was very clean on arrival and we had everything we needed. The position of the apartment right in town was perfect. You walk out onto the Piazza and you are a few minutes walk from the beach and right in the middle of town. Great restaurants very close by. Cafe's for breakfast, and a pharmacy. It really is a perfect spot to base yourself in positano. Communication with Chiara was so easy and she always replied promptly. She and Joseph greeted us and explained the apartment to us, they are both SUPER FRIENDLY! It was such a treat staying there and we already can't wait to come back.. we'd highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Positano :-)

  • Great central location with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thanks for the water and wine on arrival and for your assistance before and during our stay

    Janet2017-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Exceptional communication before and during our stay, despite the language differences. Warmly greeted and welcomed personally by Chiara and her husband with clear explanations of how the equipment in the apartment operated, where key local shops and services (including both Positano Interno (Central) and Sita (la Sponda) bus stops - NB: bus tickets need to be purchased from the nearby Tabacchi shop ) were located, plus several restaurant recommendations and a much appreciated welcoming bottle of wine. Best food and service was at the Saracene d'Or restaurant, which is on the Interno circuit bus route. Apartment well-equipped (including a much-appreciated washing machine) quiet, spacious and superbly centrally located (Piazza dei Mulini is the centre of Positano), with great views from lounge, bedroom and balconies. Folding table and chair setting for 2 great to use for casual dining on either balcony. Double glazed French doors to balconies great for acoustic insulation and ventilation as well as for access to/from balconies. It was perfect for a couple such as us. If arriving by public transport, best to come by Sita bus and alight at La Sponda bus stop, from where you have an easy downhill walk without steps or stairs to the apartment. We came by ferry from Sorrento and were faced with a challenging uphill walk from the Quay with lots of (circa 70) steps, although it is possible to use the porterage service, at a cost (2016) of 8 Euros per bag. Be warned that if the seas are a bit rough, the ferries are cancelled. If you come by car (DON'T!) much better to use one of the expensive local pay parking facilities and then use the local buses to get around Positano. The Sita regional buses were often very crowded and it was not always possible to get a seat, even in early October. We appreciated Chiara efficiently arranging a private car transfer for us to Napoli Centrale Stazione when we left, at a cost of 110 Euros.

  • Chiara and her husband are wonderful hosts. The apartment is charming and has an amazing view of Positano. Make sure you go before the season ends because everything starts to close for the winter.

  • This apartment is in a wonderful location - close to restaurants and shops, short walk to the beach and central for taking the bus. It is a peaceful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Positano. The rooms are spacious and airy with a lovely bite over the duomo and out to sea.

  • Chiara’s apartment was great! She and her husband were so great and helpful in giving us plenty of direction for things to do while we were in Positano. Chiara also helped arranged a wonderful driver to/from the train station for us. The apartment is very big, it was just my husband and I but you could easily host another couple, or kids in the apartment. Great, central location to the beach, shops and restaurants. Close to a great deli/market and short walk to the bus stop. Easy to get to upon arrival-I had heard stories of so many others that had to walk up many stairs with luggage to get to their place-we were easily dropped off within in steps of the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Located on a typical stairs in Positano, few steps away from the beach and the real center of Positano, so close to the best restaurants and bars. Located better than many important hotels! Fully furnished kitchenette, by the living / dining room where you will also find a cosy and romantic balcony with a stunning sight of the sea , the main church and Positano of course.
70 sqm apartment, ground floor with access directly from a typical stairs, Just 2 minutes away from EVERYTHING! The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a linving / dining room with fully furnished kitchenette. Here you will find a tiny and romantic balcony sea sight. Complete bathroom with tube. Perfect for 4 people, but it can accomodate up to 6 people (we suggest 4 people max nevertheless, for a perfect comfort)

  • excellent location, some opportunities with cleaning. they have to pay more attention to the details ( corkscrew, lighter, heaters)

  • I stayed only one night and really enjoyed Positano. one thing everyone should know is. it's really hard to bring all luggages to the place as there are so many stairs to get there. I almost died before getting there. But I am sure everyone would love this place : ) very satisfied all amenities she prepared.

  • Great location & value for the money. Walk down a few steps and you're in the center of town. The beds are comfortable and the apartment was clean. Watching sunrise from the balcony was also great. If you're not in shape or need to push a stroller/trolley around, the stairs to get to this property could be a bit challenging.

  • Very bice and clean appartment.

  • I would recommend Laura's place while visiting Positano because of the location, pleasant view of the Mediterranean, and the feeling of being a part of something, which one gets from staying in a BNB. The accommodations were very clean, plenty of room for 6, and it was nice tucking into a home rather than a hotel room. All of Positano is on a steep incline, but Laura's Place is about 1/2 way up. We found that workable, after the initial shock of mastering over 100 steps. The town is safe, clean and well run. The food was very good, plenty of shopping, for all price ranges, and you can hire a local shuttle to manage your luggage, if the steps and luggage together are too much. The is plenty of fun to be had there!

  • This is a really nice 2 bedroom apartment, overlooking the harbor. The 160 steps is doable because there are several landings. We would definitely stay here again

    Cheri2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is as advertised regarding space and location. However, there is a mold problem covering the bathroom that needs to be addressed before anyone else stays there.

  • Thank you Giovanni, Maria and Leonardo. The view from the patio is to die for. It was amazing better than the photos. The room is actually just a few steps down from the bus stop that brings you around town. Highly recommended!

  • Beautiful location overlooking the sea and close to the beach! Be expecting to climb a lot of stairs!

    Christine2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in The Poets house was great. The accomadation itself was spotless, with thoughtful extras like homemade wine, beer in the fridge and beach towels. Maria did her upmost to add lots of extras and gave us a lot of info on the local area. The balcony on the room equipped with sun beds and a table gave us the opportunity to avoid the steps at times and enjoy drinks overlooking the views. This really made the room for us. Maria was waiting for us when we arrived so we could find the room easily, and was prompt and easily available for any queries we had during our stay. There were lots of lovely restaurants close to the accomadation, as well as in the busier areas. We would definetly go back and can't recommend this accomadation enough!

    Jessica2018-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • The blue room is a lovely little room that is very private and the view is exquisite. While the air bnb is close to the beach, it’s quite the hike up/down, especially with luggage so I would suggest taking the bus up to the air bnb, about 3€. The room had a large patio with chairs and some shade, making it the perfect place to spend your time throughout the day. They also provided us with wine that they MADE which was so awesome.

    Josie2018-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • The terrace is simply remarkable to look out over Positano. The homemade wine they provided was delicious and a great touch. Be prepared for lots of steps (though the same could be said of anywhere on Amalfi Coast). Great suggestion from host to use the Wharf’s Porter service to deliver luggage to the apartment.

I recommend to stay at Marika's apartment it's cozy she welcoming and the view is once again breath taking we plan to come back to positano

    Victor2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing stay at this fabulous apartment! Marika and Massimo were great hosts who were constantly in communication with us, helped to organise us a transfer from Naples, and provided us with great local tips. The apartment itself was so homely with an incredible view and in a great spot. Easy walk down many stairs to the beach and also a bus stop right outside to take us back and forth to Positano beach as well as to other towns along the Amalfi coast! Would highly recommend! We Loved it!

    Victoria2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Max was very hospitable. He met us even though we didn’t get in until almost 2am. He was willing to wake up at any time to show us places to explore in Positano (letting us go to sleep immediately), and he bought us coffee and delicious croissants for breakfast. The place has an awesome view and is a great value, but you should know before going there are a ton of stairs and it’s quite a climb back up from the main city/beach area. Despite that, we loved the place and would stay there again. Highly suggest restaurant mirage and casa mele. Thanks Max!!

  • We loved staying at Marika and Massimo’s apartment. They were excellent host and provided great directions and met us at the bus stop to walk us to the apartment. They provided excellent local tips and explained how to get around the town.

  • Marika and her husband Massimo were fantastic during our stay. Helped us organise a private driver to and from Positano. Communication was fantastic and super responsive. Such wonderful hosts. Greeted us upon arrival and helped us with our luggage to the apartment and also helped us when we checked out. Apartment was full of amenities and was clean. Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Positano.

  • My boyfriend and I had an amazing three-night stay at this apartment! The views are breathtaking, and we loved returning to such a quiet retreat at the end of each day. We wished we could stay longer! The apartment is the perfect size for two, and could sleep additional people on the day bed. It is very clean and well-equipped with everything you need to cook a meal, including olive oil, utensils, coffee maker, etc. The washing machine was a big help too, as we’d been traveling for about a week beforehand. The air conditioning is just in the bedroom, but it worked great and kept us cool all night. We did not meet Marika, but we met her husband Massimo, who checked us in. He was very warm and friendly, and took the time to show us everything in the apartment and give us advice on restaurants and things to do. He even left us a cold bottle of water and a bottle of white wine in the fridge — much appreciated after our travels! As others have mentioned, there are about 600 steps to reach the apartment, but it’s a great way to see the town and work off that Italian pasta and wine! If you don’t want to walk, the local bus is easy to use and stops close to the apartment. Just be sure to ask the driver to announce your stop (Chiesa Nuova). I also recommend hiring to local porters to deliver your bags. You can find the porters by the port near their golf carts loaded with bags. It was 10 euros per carry-on bag, and it was well worth it! There is a small market up the road where you can buy food, and the nearby restaurant C’era Una Volta was delicious. They also offer take-out pizza if you want to eat at home and enjoy the view. Thanks again, Marika and Massimo! We hope to see you again soon someday. Olivia

    Olivia2018-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was the perfect choice for us. We spent a week in Positano July/August. We enjoyed the air conditioned bedroom, the full kitchen for preparing some meals, and especially the location. It is a 2 minute walk to bus stop & great restaurants overlooking Positano, and a 10-15 minute walk to the waterfront town below. As backpackers, the washing machine was an added bonus. But I've saved the best for last....Marika the host. She met us upon arrival & sat with us explaining features of the apartment, neighborhood, and guided us step-by-step through her notebook of transportation schedules, attractions, and all other useful information. She also helped arrange transfers for us in advance. She is truly an exceptional host.

    Gigi2016-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Fabiana’s place is just as described. Very clean and the most spectacular views!! Great to be able to use the kitchen. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Fabiana, but her sister Mariana communicated everything very well and met me off the bus to direct me to the property. Please note there are quite a few stairs down to the property - but you will be very used to stairs in Positano! It was not a problem, but keep it in mind if you have heavy luggage. My suggestions: get up for sunrise! Sit on the shared balcony for amazing views; sunset was always spectacular! There is a small grocery store very nearby. Also, SITA bus stop (Sponda) about 20min scenic walk (or you can get the interno bus - I walked it with no problems. Thank you for having me! I have already recommended this place to a few of my friends :)

    Bryanna2017-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This room was amazing, the view was unbelievable and it was centrally located. Everything was very clean and Fabiana was super easy to get in touch with and so nice! Had a wonderful stay, in large part because of staying here. One note is that wifi isn't available in the room, you'll have to go to the common area to get it-- no big deal and actually a nice break while on vacation.

    Nicole2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Positano is a small and windy town with tricky parking, wonderful restaurants and enchanting walkways that take you from one level of the town to another, spitting you out into unexpected parts of the town. Make sure you walk all the way down to the beach — it’s worth every step! Fabiana’s place is ideally located with a breathtaking view. The bathroom, shower, bed and decor were all wonderful. I would book here again without a doubt. Enjoy!

  • Fabiana and Mariana were very helpful and welcoming on arrival. Advised on great local restaurants and things to do. The villa is amazing, our room was perfect, clean and exactly as pictured. It's situated perfectly with a nice walk down the road to the center alternatively we could take the steps which weren't too bad. We overstayed on our last day and were free to use the terrace and communal area until late. Great experience and Positano is amazing.

Giovanni’s House Azzurra is a very nice apartment with an amazing view of Positano and its beach. Located in an ancient neighborhood in the high part of Positano, is reached by following a quaint neighborhood path and about 200 shallow steps from the end of the street, surrounded by ancient villas from the XVIII century and a breathtaking view of the Amlfi Coast. Town center and the main beach can be reached by foot within about 15 to 20 minutes.
Stunning views from iconic Positano hillside. Guests will be immersed in the local town life.
  • Definitely recommend! Great amenities, snacks, and very clean! There is a lot of walking, but everywhere in Positano has walking. Each walk has an amazing view. The owner/host Alfonso is the highlight. He is a local and knows the area well! He is very nice and accommodating. Full of suggestions and help! He helped us prior to check in to figure out the bus stop and he met us there. He carried our luggage. Alfonso he was quick to respond. The last night we were able to sit and relax and get to know him and his wife. He showed us different views we had not seen. By far this was the highlight of the trip.

    Tracy2018-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and Alfonso is a great host. Although a bit of a walk from central Positano, the location is great especially if you’re looking for a relaxing get away like we were. I would highly recommend this rental and we would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Positano.

    Ben2018-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Alfonso was an immaculate host and the apartment was absolutely stunning. It was very clean, the bed was super comfy and the apartment had everything that we needed. This was one of the very best AirBnb experiences I’ve had so far. It is very close to the downtown area and also near a market where you can get some food for breakfast or snacks. Alfonso met us at the bus stop and helped get our luggage to the house, up a narrow path with lots of steps. But let me tell you - every step is worth it to stay in this cute little apartment! The view you get from the top of the hill is spectacular and watching the sun rise from the porch is an experience that you cannot miss out on.

    Hanna2018-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Location and hospitality really made this the best place I’ve booked on here. Alfonso quickly replied to any questions we had before check in and made the whole experience so easy. Alfonso waited for us at the bus stop to show where we needed to go and carried our bags up. (Yes this made a HUGE difference, and you’ll see why when you’re climbing all the steps). Location felt very local and not at all touristy. The actual house was so nice and clean. Had a full kitchen that we used to cook things from the market nearby. We were able to eat on the balcony. Bed was comfy and had extra blankets. A/C was great to have! Checking out was again super easy, and Alfonso found out the ferry information for us and brought our bags all the way down to the dock. We couldn’t say thank you enough! Overall this place is amazing and Alfonso just tops it off with the amazing hospitality and conversation. It’s also so easy to get down to the beach/center. There is nothing negative to say about our stay but definitely be prepared for stairs, which if you’ve read anything about Positano, you already know about! Recommend this place a million times!

    Savannah2018-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing with some caveats First, Alfonso is the definition of Superhost. He has all of the bases covered: Spotless apartment Great communication Nice amenities (he adds snacks and drinks) Gives recommendations for things to do. The views from this apartment are absolutely amazing. You don’t even need to leave the apartment the view is worth the trip! Some caveats This apartment is located high up on the mountain. There’s only one way up -about 200 steps ascending. This can be very tiresome, so if you’re not in shape or have a lot of luggage. Beware. But again, those views! Also the WiFi signal is not very strong. Highly recommend, and I would stay here again.

    Tamarly2018-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Alfonso's place AKA Giovanni's House was incredible. It is a bit of a hike to get there as it is high up overlooking the city, but once you arrive you will understand. The destination is so worth the journey. The place is your own quaint suite attached to a beautiful cliffside home with a stunning, dramatic, awe inspiring view of Positano. The view is everything. You have your own small patio that's perfect to watch the sunset over wine and cheese (from the market 5 mins walking away). Inside, when you enter the suite there is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. You then walk into the bedroom which has a large, comfy bed, plenty of closet space, and cable TV (that we never used but nice to have). Then attached to the bedroom is a large bathroom with a nice shower and European-style washer dryer. Everything was super clean and cozy. This place is simply perfect for a couple visiting Positano who are not afraid of a few stairs :) Best, Greg

    Greg2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! What an amazing experience with Alfonso. My Girlfriend and I toured Italy for 2 weeks and stayed in many Airbnb's along the way and this by far was the best experience we had on our trip. The best thing about this place is the VIEW, there isn't a camera on this planet that can capture the way it takes your breath away. Alfonso is also a host that truly cares about his guests. He met us early to take our luggage up to the unit, gave us a million useful tips about Positano and checked-in consistently to make sure we were getting the best experience possible. He even went as far as leaving some fruit and food in the fridge as he didn't want his guests to arrive hungry with nothing to eat..thats how passionate he is about your experience. You may read some reviews that mention the steps to the unit, and although I wouldn't recommend them for someone with bad hips or older in age, I would say this, there are quite a few steps but they are not to be climbed all at once. There are alleys and walkways that separate them and once you see the view you'll forget all about them, additionally, the food in Positano is soo good your going to want to burn off some of those additional calories so don't let the stairs hold you back. Lastly, Positano is HOT and this place has A/c that works great! Have fun at Alfonso's in Positano and if you're looking for something to do to make your trip, I strongly suggest you do the walk of the God's hike. It's free and honestly a life-changing experience, check it out on trip advisor you won't regret it.

  • Raffaele and Angela went out of their way to ensure that our time spent at Casa Montechiaro was effortless and comfortable. The weekly treats from the bakery, fresh flowers and a sparkling home to enjoy have all been noticed and appreciated! The apartment boasts a view that is mesmerizing in its beauty! We can't thank Raffaele enough for all of his assistance in helping us with our travel arrangements and for his endless thoughtfulness! We spent two months in Positano that went by quickly. We travelled up and down the Amalfi coast with repeated trips to Sorrento and Amalfi to shop. Definitely a magical journey! Travelling regularly on the Sita bus has all been part of the adventure.

  • We loved our stay in Positano at Raffaele's. Yes - there were stairs, but they were absolutely fine. The apartment is centrally located, and we had many great meals out and about in Positano as well as cooking at home. Highlights were the day and a half we spent on a boat we drove ourselves. Raffaele and Angela could not haven been more welcoming, would definitely book again. Grazie Raffaele! Nat and Andrew

  • Rafaelle was a thoughtful host. He answered emails quickly and provided thorough helpful information. The apartment was exactly as presented in the listing-- but the view was even more impressive! It was clean, tidy and had everything that I needed. Angela is very kind and it was nice to arrive to fresh flowers, fruit and a bottle of wine! If you go to Positano you must stay here! I did not want to leave.

  • Casa Montechiaro definitely needs to be experienced to understand how great it is. The flat is larger than the pictures can convey and the views are amazing. We spent many a morning or evening just sitting on the patio looking out over the water. Just like all of Positano, there are a number of steps to get from the main road to the flat. Completely manageable but a bit of a shock to the body after a long day of travel. We used every bit of the amenities that were available, including the dishwasher and washing machine. Raffeale was very communicative leading up to and throughout our stay. He arranged for our transfer from Naples to Positano with a private car service (highly recommend this, if its in your budget). Upon check-in, we were greeted by Angela and she walked through every piece of information that we needed to know about Casa Montechiaro. We even had some fresh mozzarella, basil, prosciutto, and bread waiting for us to snack on once we were settled. The location of the flat is not far from the center of Positano. As I mentioned before, there are plenty of steps to get down to the center but not nearly as challenging as some other places we saw along the way. You have easy access to the center of Positano but are away from the business of the center of town. Best of both worlds in our book!

  • We loved the week we spent at Casa Montechiaro. From the moment we stepped foot into the spacious apartment we were in awe of the spectacular view! The terrace seemed bigger than it appeared in the photo. The place was clean and tastefully decorated. We had a great sleep every night and enjoyed the wake-up call from the rooster as we drank our coffee on the balcony. Raffaele and Angela were gracious hosts in many respects. Fresh ingredients to make our first dinner, including the mouth watering fiore de latte mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh basil, and a giant bowl of fruit had been artfully arranged for our arrival. Angela was there to meet us the moment we arrived and Raffaele always responded promptly to our enquiries and would follow up with us to see if there was anything we needed. The drivers he arranged for us to visit Pompeii and to take us to and from the Naples train station were excellent. Casa Montechiaro was a perfect base to explore the Amalfi coast, although there were times when we just wanted to spend a quiet afternoon on the terrace and not go anywhere, if was so beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends. Thank you again Raffaele and Angela for making our vacation an unforgettable one.

  • A lovely spacious flat with a fabulous view from the shady terrace only a short walk from the busy bus stop. From the beach to the flat takes only 17 minutes providing there are no people (!) so it is really not far. Do get the porter to deliver your bags (E20 each from the beach) and after that the stairs should not be a problem. Angela was just lovely when she introduced us to the flat. We loved walking past first the beaches and then the lemon groves and chickens to our house, and seeing the mules going out to work walking down the steep stairs. Close enough to enjoy the walk back from dinner at the beach and yet quite peaceful.

    Rebecca2018-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • We can't thank Raffaele enough for his generosity and kindness. He's an amazing host! Really helpful and very thoughtful and responsive. All arrangements ran like clockwork and Angela, the house keeper, was also great! The apartment is light and bright and the view from the terrace is incredible. All exactly as described! We greatly appreciated the complimentary food and drink provisions too. Unless you are very strong, I would recommend arranging a porter to carry your luggage up to the apartment - it's quite a climb! Raffaele can help sort this for you. The endless steps of Positano do, however, help justify the amazing food! You won't regret booking Raffaele's apartment! We'd return in a heartbeat.

  • Lovely stay - about 20 minute walk up and down into the town but the stairs aren't as bad as they seem! Room was clean and it was nice and quiet.

  • Excellent welcome. Nice views. Okay breakfast. Best thing is free parking in front.

  • Great family-run bed and breakfast in Positano! Free breakfast with a view every morning and they were so helpful with transportation and reservations! There is a bus stop right outside the B&B or you can walk to central Positano- it is approximately 15- 20 min walk to the beach. They were so hospitable and helpful! We would definitely stay there again!

  • Up the hill from town with great view of town and ocean from terrace. Very nice 10 minute walk to town (as long as you take local bus back up hill-no problem since local bus stop and bus stop from Sorrento are right in front of bed and breakfast. Excellent buffet breakfast included. I woul stay there again.

    Josh2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb was perfect. Me and my boyfriend spent 2 days in positano but wanted to stay longer. This place was nice because it is a little tucked away from the busy part of town and has amazing views. The room had a cute balcony which was my favorite part. To get down to town and the beach it’s about a 15 minute walk but the walk was enjoyable with the beautiful sites of positano, we also decided to walk home too instead of taking the bus and even the walk back up the mountain wasn’t bad. Hope to come back some day! I highly recommend this Airbnb!

    Briana2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • They were the most amazing, caring hosts! The place was beautiful, everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the food was great! They also booked us the most amazing boat tour that was by far one of our best days ever :)

    Jason2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This B&B was wonderful. There are 5 different levels of patios to enjoy, and they make amazing cocktails at the top bar. It was a bit of a hike, but there is always the bus if you don’t feel like getting a workout. We loved Positano!

The apartment is located at the entrance of Positano, at 900 meters from the sandy beaches (10 minutes walking) and enjoys a wonderful panorama. Bus stops are very close Casa Victoria consists of an entrance with kitchenette / living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The latter one is private, has a hydromassage shower and not a bathtub. The house has a terrace overlooking the sea . All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with TV. WiFi in the rooms.
The beaches, 900 meters away, can be reached either by bus (bus stop is 2 minutes from Casa Victoria) or on foot via the famous and typical stairways of Positano. For private excursion, taxi service to the airport and any other service please contact us. Enjoy Positano! Apartment Victoria is located near the center of Positano, in the so-called district "Pastiniello" .
  • Don’t think twice about staying at Casa Victoria. This was the best Airbnb we stayed at in Italy. It was extremely clean and had very nice touches. Margherite showed us around and even though her English is minimal, she did a great job explaining things. The apt is very roomy with 3 large closets. Although our bathroom is across a common hall, we rarely saw anyone. And it locks. The view from the shared balcony is incredible. We loved the location as there are many options close by for restaurants and the best linen shop is downstairs around the corner. We would definitely stay there again!

    Pamela2018-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely flat, good value, relatively high up in Positano so around 15 minutes walk down to the beach. If you're fit and active this isn't an issue. If you don't mind sharing the terrace then its a great location for a morning coffee or a homemade apperitivo. The flat does a have a quirk (exactly as advertised) in that you have to go through a shared corridor (with another flat further down the corridor) to get to the bathroom - but this was never an issue for us. If you're looking to explore the rest of the Amalfi coast (not just positano) this flat is located close to both parking and a Sita bus stop - so all in all the location is convenient.

    Peter2018-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy house in with a nice view to the main beach and sea. Everything in positano is walking distance! We really liked to be in this house with the amazing food recomendations from the host! Hope to come back soon :)

  • We did not get to meet Rosaria but her sister Margarita was very helpful. The home is beautiful and close to the center. The view from home is great. Only issue we had was we did not get hot water in the morning for all the days of our stay. The water was super cold.

    Aswani2018-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, with a breathtaking view of Positano, looking down on the city center. These hosts are so kind and sweet. Follow there directions on locating it closely, and you’ll be able to find it ( Positano is tight and tricky). My advice on this is only go down about 60 feet down the stairs ( the rest Makes sense, following the hosts message). Our best stay on our honeymoon to Italy! Just know that the bathroom is sweated form the bed and kitchen area by walk w that other residents have access to. And be ready for Lots of stairs to go down to the beach ( but this just the way all of Positano is, not just this location). Enjoy!

    Tanner2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, close to the Chiesa Nuova bus stand and walking distance to the downtown area. Maria’s sister Margarita was very helpful even when we lacked hot water on a cloudy day without solar energy to heat the water. Overall great experience and we hope to return!

    Pashna2018-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very responsive and a beautiful location. Bus is very close by and she helped us coordinate our taxis to and from the airport so we did not have to worry. Would definitely recommend. I will just make a note that this room is NOT entirely private (just an FYI-not saying this is a bad thing) The hallway between the bedroom and bathroom is shared by several people as they needed to go through our hallway to go back outside and into their spaces. The bedroom and bathroom do lock however. This was not ideal for us and we did not realize we would have to worry about strangers passing through while running to the bathroom at night or going to and from the shower. Honestly though we only encountered people a handful of times though and would still recommend it here.

    Marie2018-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this wonderful apartment! It is a sparkling new remodel with all the best furnishings. WiFi works great! But it is the view that truly enchanted us. You can see the beach, the hills and down the coast! We would have washed our clothes in the new washing machine, but rain prevented us from the opportunity to hang our clothes out to dry. But it is a huge amenity for travelers. It is just one block from a very useful bus stop - both for local buses and the main Sorrento - Amalfi bus. We felt very lucky to be two of the first guests in this very special place!

  • Francesco and his family were wonderful. Angelo welcomed us when we arrived. The home was very comfortable and well appointed. It is a beautiful location slightly beyond the busy town of Positano. We walked everywhere. We were surprised most nights with treats from the family garden. The space is completely private but there was always someone around if you needed help or suggestions.

  • Great location--- lots and easily walking distance to restaurants and bars!! Amazing terrace view! Pretty clean but bathroom could of used a little more attention. Other than that, really enjoyed our stay!!

  • Great place with all amenities and lots of nice touches from Angelo and Giuseppina. We felt like hosted by good friends, with nice tips and the typical souther welcoming atmosphere. The house is very well maintained and equipped with anything that you could need and ready to enjoy the nice spacious terrace in the hills of Positano. Quite a walk to go down to the center by foot, but rewarded with a unique view and calmness, away from the lots of tourists “downtown”. The hosts were just great, always available and helpful. Great place, to be recommended if you are looking for a more personal and calm stay in the magic Positano.

  • La Torretta was the perfect stay! The home was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Upon arrival, there was a fruit bowl from the Maronne’s family garden. The property is beautiful - the Maronne family lives downstairs, in a completely detached home. Normally we try to avoid bookings with the family in the vicinity but this was a wonderful experience! Angelo (Franceso’s father) has beautiful grounds, inclusive of flowers, fruit trees, vegetables and herbs. He has built a panoramic view for guests, which has a gorgeous view. Giuseppa (Francesco’s mom) was like your mother away from home - she made us homemade limoncello, tiramisu and an amazing lunch! Chiara was available at any point throughout the day to answer questions and was prompt. To the right of the property are steep stairs to various hikes up the mountain with stunning views, very worth it! What a hospitable family! Grazie!

  • My husband and I had an amazing experience! here! Chiara and Angelo were there to welcome us. There were fresh strawberries, bread, jams, tea and coffee, which was nice not to head to the store right away. They even gave us some fresh eggs from their chickens! The apartment was even more beautiful than the photos, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed! We loved exploring the little town of Montepertuso (walking distance from the apartment), and dined at Il Ritrivo a few nights in a row, do yourself a favor and eat there, delicious! One of our favorite parts of our stay, besides the beautiful view on the terrace, was Mrs Marrones homemade Tiramisu. It was totally unexpected and so thoughtful of them. Angelo also lent us his electric bikes, and we had many an adventure exploring Positano on them. We didn't have a car, but between the buses and the bikes, it wasn't a problem at all. We highly recommend this apartment (more like a house) So warm and inviting, surrounded by lush vegetable gardens, a breathtaking view, and a beautiful family.

  • This aprtment was up high in the Positano mountain away from the hustle and bustle of busy Positano. It was very easy to jump on and off the (green line)bus to the beach/city center of Positano. The apartment is very, very clean and there is a lovely market to buy local groceries and wine. Also, a wonderful restaurant within a 2 min walk as well as a coffee shop/bar. The wall down is many steps, but doable if you are in good shape! Hint: Ask Guilia about the path of Gods hike. Guilia and her bother are the BEST hosts and delightful to know. They are willing to answer any questions you may have ! Stay here -very comfortable and feel like a local!!

  • This was the BEST. AIRBNB. EVER!! We had the most amazing experience in beautiful Montepertuso, and it’s the perfect place to stay while visiting Positano. Our hosts were amazing and friendly and kind. Best hosts ever! We felt like family for the 2 nights we were there. We only wished we could have stayed longer!! The place was perfect, clean, bright, and had a beautiful view of the sea (I don’t think theres a photo of this, but there should be!!). Everyone in the small town was so nice as well. There is a bus down to Positano every hour, so it’s easy (the drive is crazy, but worth it!). We will be back very soon! Thank you again SO much for this amazing stay in the beautiful Amalfi Coast!! We loved every second.

  • So clean, beautiful place, Giulia and her brother Gianfranco is so kind. To my family, this flat is better than 5 star hotels. Suitable from newly married couple to family with kids. Stairway from the flat to Positano gives wonderful view. (Recommend) Also Restaurant 'Il Ritrovo' near the flat is very good. I wish I could visit here again on someday

  • Giulia is an absolutely incredible host. She was extremely helpful in recommending what to do in Positano and helping us figure out the logistics to execute our plans. She provided great information about restaurants and markets in the area. Her place is located in a town north of Positano, which had a stunning view of the coast. Her place is extremely well maintained and had every amenity my husband and I could have asked for. We were really impressed by he overall experience and highly recommend staying at Giulia’s place.

  • We stayed in Positano for three nights after a stay in Sorrento. Communication was great and Giovanni was there to greet us as soon as we stepped off the bus and showed us to the flat which was a short walk down, also helping to carry our cases down the steps! He was also on hand during the stay as he lived nearby and organised our taxi back to the airport again. The flat was lovely and colourful and had a beautiful balcony with a view over the sea. Perfect for what we needed! He was very helpful and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

  • Amazing find in Positano! Lovely apartment, excellent host. Great view from the balcony and close to some great restaurants. Would recommend!

    Matthew2018-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • It wouldn’t be Positano if there weren’t a few steps involved. So although it did scare us at first, we soon realised it was just the norm for a Positano holiday. Yvonne’s apartment has a beautiful Italian feel to it with an amazing balcony. Fresh flowers everywhere too made the apartment feel really cosy. Location was near a bus stop and only a 15 minute walk from the beach. Definitely recommend this for those wanting to stay in the centre of it all

    Shaz2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem! Yvonne was so great with communication from the beginning and throughout our stay. If you are driving, they recommend parking at a garage right by the apartment. The owner's son works there and was able to call Giovanni (the owner) when we arrived which made the key transfer easy. The apartment is beautiful and so clean with breathtaking views of Positano. It's about a 15 minute walk to either beach and there are great restaurants right by there. I'm celiac and had some questions about gluten free restaurants in Positano ahead of time. Giovanni had asked around town and gave us directions to restaurants that had gluten free options. It was so nice of him. I would absolutely recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat. Wonderful experience!

    Andrea2015-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne's house was amazing! It looks just like the pictures. The terrace was huge and the view was beautiful. The apartment was also very clean and well kept and had everything we needed. The apartment is a short walk to the two beaches in Positano and all the nearby shops and restaurants. Yvonne was a great host and was quick to respond to all our questions and gave us several recommendations on where to eat in the area. Giovanni was also very kind and helped us with our luggage up the stairs to the apartment. Overall, I highly recommend Yvonne's apartment and would definitely stay again!

    Ewelina2016-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at this apartment. Host met us when we drove in and helped bring the luggage up the stairs. Good location, spacious apartment, and an amazing balcony. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings- perfect way to start and end the day. Some climbing to do in Positano, and especially to this apartment, but worth it.

    Romulus2015-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Certainly the most welcoming experience of our entire trip. We (my wife) were treated with beautiful flowers and delicious treats. Yvonne was an excellent host and the home offered spectacular views just like the pictures displayed. We will definitely be heading back to Positano in the near future as it was a great way to end our honeymoon, thanks Yvonne!

  • Lovely apartment with a panoramic view of Positano. In terms of service and communication, Rafaella was very responsive and accommodating with requests. In terms of location and accessibility, the Sita bus stop from Sorrento and to Amalfi is 50 meters away. Buy your Sita bus tickets at the Always Positano gift shop, found near the opposite end of Via Cristoforo Colombo, the street parallel to and below Amalfi Drive. Grazie to Rafaella and her mom for welcoming us :)

  • Me and my boyfriend always use Airbnb when we travel abroad and this is by far the best yet! From the location just a short walk down to the beach to the view which the amazing pictures don't even do it justice, everything was just perfect! Not to mention Raffaela who was so lovely and welcoming waiting at the door as we arrived! She made our trip extra special by letting us know about food festivals that were on and leaving us an olive branch outside our door so we could take part in there local Palm Sunday traditions making us feel right at home! She also kindly looked after our bags after check out for a whole day because our flight home was in the evening. Finally the room was advertised as a private room which some people can find off putting but although the room is within her building you have the whole place to yourself, the room is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures, you have your own bathroom, balcony and kitchenette in one, I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was to go back to Positano, highly recommend!

  • Wow! Just wow! Amazing place to stay. Positano is great and this place is amazing. Beautiful balcony, nice room, kitchen facilities, walk from main town. Very clean, nice shower etc etc

    Katie2016-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. It's right by the SITA bus stop so easily accessible. The room is beautiful with the most amazing view to Positano and the sea. Raffaella is a brilliant host who got back to us quickly and left some Prosecco in the fridge for us. Overall we'd really recommend it.

    Lucy2017-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful view! We absolutely loved Positano!

    Allie2018-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • The room is very tastefully decorated with a high spec shower room and a stunning view over Positano. It's well situated to either walk down into the town's little streets leading to the beach or to up onto the cliff paths. The parking space is especially handy as parking is very difficult to find in Positano (although the space is only big enough for a mini sized car). The little kitchenette is handy if you want to prepare your own meal and there was also a welcome bottle of sparkling wine.

    Sarah2017-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best views in Positano and great location. 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach, less than five min walk to the bus stop and easy access to a lot of bars and restaurants. Although we walked a lot, restaurants further away had free shuttles but we enjoyed exploring the side alley ways and long staircases. We ended up getting engaged on the path of the gods(!) and the champange that was already in our room and the view from the balcony was a great way to celebrate. Would definitely recommend!

  • This airbnb was absolutely excellent as far as location, views of Positano, cleanliness, immediate communication with the host, and amenities. Raffaella included breakfast for us (muffins, small toast, nutella, yogurt), shampoo/conditioner, water bottles ect. The only complaint I have about this apartment was that we had no hott water in our bathroom shower. Fortunately, this issue was resolved immediately and we were able to shower in another apartment but I wonder what would have happened during the summer (Positano high season) and that other apartment would not have been available? I would recommend this something to consider for guests as a possibility of not having during your stay. It is definitely not fun to shower with cold water! Other than that, everything was absolutely excellent. Thank you Raffaella, you truly made us feel at home.

And at 20 meters there’s bus stop to Amalfi or Sorrento. In the proximities of Casa Donna Cunce, just 5 -10 minutes, all the services are found: cafe, restaurant, supermarket.
  • Great place. Great view. Great hosts. Just a heads up that you have to walk up a lot of stairs to get there.

  • Maria’s apartment/flat is simply amazing! The views are terrific and the amenities were amazing as well. Loved the big bright bathroom with a large shower. The espresso machine was just as good as at the caffe. The furnishings are super cozy and welcoming! Maria was very quick to respond and even helped arrange taxi service!

    Marc2018-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic views of the town from the balcony. LOTS of steps to climb but after all it is a cliffside town so that’s expected. Host met us at a drop off point and even helped us with our luggage. Highly recommended spot and we enjoyed our stay.

    Tom2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • A great place with amazing view of Positano. Located conveniently close to bus stop and 10 min walk down the hill to the beach. The host is very helpful and friendly.

    Tanuza2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. We arrived a few hours before the designated check in but Maria was very accommodating and allowed us to drop off our bags. The place is higher up the hill, so a lot of steps and walking involved but also makes for a great view. Wine at check-in and the coffee maker added to the comfort of the stay.

    Matt2018-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Such a nice place. Maria was an excellent host and even helped us with our bags. The view is unbelievable.

    Jessica2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • A really cute apartment in Positano. The facilities are great - the shower is lovely and we happily cooked dinner in the kitchen with all the equipment we needed. Maria was very helpful and advised us which buses to take from Positano. The view from the balcony is amazing - the only downside to the apartment is that it is a 15 minute walk up lots of stairs from the centre of the town, but this isn't much of a problem!

    Mabel2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot with a great view. Extremely clean and new. Stairs from the beach to the property are extremely tough, and would be difficult for an elderly or very unfit person.

  • Gippy was extremely warm and welcoming, the apartment was beautiful, loved the view from the balcony.

    Ashleigh2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay at the Venus Inn and would come back and stay there again in a heartbeat! Gippy was such a wonderful host, so accommodating and responsive when I sent multiple messages asking for recommendations for car services and excursions. When we arrived early, the guests in our room had not yet checked out, but Gippy greeted us with coffee and breakfast on the beautiful terrace. The Venus inn is in a perfect location - short walk to Fornillo Beach (many steps!!) which in my opinion is a much better beach than the main beach - less crowded, much less touristy, with many lunch options. You can walk anywhere in town within 15-20 mins. There are a few lovely rooms and we befriended many of the other couples staying there with us. Not to mention the gorgeous views from the balcony where we had breakfast and happy hour every night! Thank you again Gippy for such an amazing experience!!! We will recommend you to anyone we know traveling to Positano!

    Lauren2016-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time here and Gippy is very responsive. I would suggest booking your car back to Naples a few hours in advance as we hit traffic and almost missed our train. Also there are many stairs to get to the beach, just be prepared. The accommodations are wonderful, good breakfast and good host.

    Melissa2018-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • good value and friendly host

    Sofie2018-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Gippy may be the best Air BnB host in all of Italy. He was very quick to respond to all questions I had leading up to our stay and helped to arrange a car for us from Naples to the Venus Inn. Gippy was so incredibly friendly and hospitable. The Venus Inn itself was lovely and the balconies for each room had a spectacular view. Each morning, Gippy prepared breakfast for the guests which included fresh plums from his garden...those were my favorite. It's located outside of the main part of Positano which was nice because the area was a little more quiet and the steps down to Fornillo Beach were right outside the front door. I highly recommend staying at the Venus Inn and would certainly return! Thank you for making our stay a great one, Gippy!

    Michael2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time in positano! Gippy was a charismatic and jovial host. The location is in the quieter part of positano which we appreciated as we have children. The Fornillo beach was perfect for us. We paid 8E pp (at Puppetos) for the day for chairs and umbrellas at the beach which included wifi ( a must for the kids). The restaurants that Gippy recommended were great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves:)

On the main road of Positano, not far from the center, just one minute away from the local bus stop, Manuela and Giuliana will make their best to make you feel at home as family. The very close two family run restaurants reserve a discount for the hotel guests. Perfect location for day trips.
Our goal is welcoming guests to make friends. We have 9 double, triple and quadruple rooms with all amenities. We are in a beautiful, quiet area of Positano, on the main street, full of restaurants, where it is pleasant to walk any time.
In the grotto of Fornillo, which is the nearest stop for the local bus, the inhabitants of the district set up an impressive permanent nativity, especially lit up over Christmas.
  • Manuela and her family made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot in Hotel Delle Palme. Manuela was very accommodating, warm and informative. She always had a smile on her face and always stopped what she was doing to help us. We booked our room late and was informed we would be on the ground floor. When we arrived, we had a beautiful room with a seaview! We would recommend this place and would come back to stay here again.

    Anna2017-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for 5 nights and during that period we felt really comfort like home. Location of the facility is great. Close to many good restraunts, including two family restraunts(They gave 10% discount :) ) Room condition was quite good and clean and view from balcony was nice. We spent at least 1~2 hours per day in the balcony. I would definitely re-visit Manuela's B&B if I went Positano, again.

  • My mom and I stayed for 5 nights for a special birthday trip and had a great time! The Hotel Villa delle Palme is exactly as described, with homey touches and the best hostesses you could want. The room was so clean, the balcony was beautiful with a lovely view, access by city bus and the walk from the beach was easy (well, easy for Positano!), custom coffee and help-yourself breakfast were served with a smile (hard boiled eggs, fresh sliced tomatoes, ham, salame, cheese, cereal, milk, juice, and a basket of rolls and croissant). Giuliana and Manuela called bus services, ferry services, and other tourist events for us and set up reservations, etc. We ate at Saraceno D’oro (next door, with a discount) 3 times in 5 days and loved everything we ate there. It felt like coming home for dinner with family (but more relaxing) at the end of a long day touring. What a treat! We will always recommend the Hotel Villa delle Palme to friends and family and hope to come back ourselves too. Thank you! <3 Paula and Anne

  • Very kind of Manuela. She sent me a direction and the way to get the place. During my stay she introduced the town and how we could enjoy. Also she called a rentacar shop for us to book in local language. Not only Manuela also all the other staff are so nice and warm. The breakfast is tasty! I understand they have been able to operate their B&B for 50 years in that competitive environment. Thank you so much for all the way you've provided us.

    Nozomi2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Villa delle Palme was incredibly enjoyable. The rooms are just as they appear in the photos. The view outside our window was breathtaking. Breakfast was served each morning and we enjoyed it on our balcony. The room was located up enough on the hill for an amazing view, but not too high up to walk everyday. Manuela was incredibly helpful with information about Positano and travel within the Amalfi Coast in general. Would definitely recommend staying here!

    Megan2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela's B&B is very well kept with clean simple rooms and of course has a beautiful view. It is centrally located - just a 10-15 minute walk from the main beach. Also the wifi was smooth and easy to use, and the climate control was great too as it was specific to the room. The light breakfast delivered to the room is also a wonderful bonus. We only had the chance to stay one night and hope to stay more again in the future!

  • Manuela is a happy, friendly, helpful, and kind hostess. She helped us make daily plans, and recommended restaurants, transportation, and local specialties like lemon slush. We were very pleased by her hospitality. Her employees were just as helpful and kind. We felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay.

    Cassie2018-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous stay at Villa Della Palme! Manuela is a lovely and warm host and made us feel right at home! Even though we visited Positano during the off season, the beautiful atmosphere of the bnb and Manuela's hospitality made our vacation amazing! Thank you Manuela!!!
