Vacation Rentals in Porto Venere

Just booked in Porto Venere

Hi travelers! This hiking refuge surrounded by nature is along the famous trail of Cinque Terre (AV5T) in the little mountain Muzzerone in front of the sea of Gulf of Poets, on top of Porto Venere.
Ciao viaggiatori! Riffugio Muzzerone is a charming guest house nestled above the town of Portovenere combining the beauty & isolation of a hilltop location which overlooks the picturesque Portovenere along with the convenience of staying within a short trek from Cinque Terre.. Included in the price is a traditional Italian breakfast consisting of coffee, milk and some bread or biscuits with jam and butter. Dinner is served each night, and usually consists of starter, a pasta dish, a main course, and a desert. All of this for just € 20.00! Wine is also available. We also have a hot shower! Getting to Portovenere •To get here by train the easiest station to arrive at is La Spezia, which is largest town in the local area. Getting from La Spezia to Portovenere there are two buses the No. 11, or, P. Porto venere is the last stop. Tickets can be bought from newspaper stalls/tobacconists, which you can find on most streets. Portovenere – the guest house. Leave yourself a fair bit of sunlight in order to make the ascent as in the dark it will be rather difficult. •There is a tourist information office in the main square of Portovenere if you should have any problems •Once you arrive in Portovenere there is still a bit of a trek ahead of you. When you face the main square, looking up Muzzerone (which is the mountain the guest house is on) you can either take a left or a right up the hill. The best way to go is RIGHT! The path on your left is a coastal path which is beautiful but is also a significantly longer walk. To be sure you take the correct path you will pass a small public toilet which charges 50 cents at the entrance of the path. Depending on the amount of luggage you have this journey will take different lengths of time with light luggage and a brisk walking pace it should only take 15-30 minutes. However with larger luggage and some types of footwear; sandals, etc. It will take longer. All you have to do is follow this path, until it forks (immediately after you pass a house on your left which has grape vines hanging over the pathway) at this fork turn left and directly above you, you will see the guest house. •There is also a way which one can drive up. From La Spezia go towards Portovenere Arrived at the locality Le Grazie follow the directions for the rock climbing gym of Mountain Muzzerone, walk across the street until you arrive in a square to the left of the road,as a reference, you will see the orange column for emergency calls Walk along the pathway AV5T to Portovenere,in about 10 minutes you will be at the refuge Other ways of arriving to Portovenere •Another way to get to the guest house from Genova is to take the regional train to La Spezia. This stops off in most of the Cinque Terre’s. From all the Cinque Terre’s except Corniglia, which is too small to have a port you can catch a boat to Portovenere . These boats do stop around 17:00 so be careful not to get stuck! If you love nature, easy hiking, sea, mountains, sports like canoa /kayak or climbing or mountain bike, romantic view, wild beaches, easy life far of the traffic but close of every comfort..... maybe this is the place for you! If you love to admire how in the past the genius of human art was able to married harmoniously with the genius of nature... you need to see the Church of Portovenere in the top of the cliff! The position of the refuge is amazing for the view, you can see some photos. The refuge is small but really nice, in the middle of the little mountain Muzzerone. Cose by is a small island "Palmaria" which you can go and come back in the island from Portovenere. If you want it's possible to have a lunch or dinner in the Rifugio Muzzerone. We speak little english language, (we need improve our english), but for the moment it's enough for survive! It will be our pleasure to host you!
  • What a unique place to stay! If you're feeling up for the small climb (we recommend backpacks and tennis shoes) the view once you get to the the top is definitely rewarding. Excellent food, kind hosts, friendly guests, and all the necessary accommodations one needs. We would 100% recommend and hope to return-this was the highlight of our entire Italian vacation.

  • I stayed one night at Rifugio's and I'd happily do so again. I love hiking and when I saw the pictures of the view I was sold. The views did not disappoint. There are many places to sit outside and enjoy the view once you get up to the hiking refuge. As others have said it is a hike. You gain a lot of elevation; it took me about 30 min with my pack, proper foot ware and a few breaks to take in the view. I passed a number of hikers on the way up and the trail is well marked. If you think you'll be arriving after dark, I would make sure to have a flashlight to spot the painted trail markers. When I arrived, someone stepped out to greet me and show me to my room. The listing had said it accommodates two, however, it actually accommodated four as there were two bunk beds. Everything was clean and in order. There was a cabinet for each guest. The cabinets couldn't be locked but I didn't run into any problems leaving them. If you have a plug with multiple USB ports I'd recommend bringing it; myself and my dorm mates only located two plugs. I joined in for dinner which was served around 8pm and it was every bit as good as others have said. In fact, it was one of the best meals I had during my week in Italy, well worth the €20. You can sit inside or outside for your meals. I was traveling on my own and ended up joining a group of friends who had came up here just for the food. All in all, it was a pleasure to stay at Rifugio's.

  • **Read everything before booking. Many reviews complain that they had to hike a bit of trail to get here because they did not, and thought it was down in the town.** I had a great time staying here. The dinner they cook is delicious, and worth trying even if you do not stay. The beds were comfortable, and the space did not feel crowded at any point. There is an amazing view down on the town and water, and a great place to watch the sunset only a couple minutes walk down the trail. This is the perfect place to get away from crowds, see the landscape and meet some fantastic people.

  • The rifugio its located at a really astonishing place, words can't describe the feeling of waking up in the morning and having a great coffee enjoying the amazing view. The accommodations are basic but get the job done. It all depends on your expectations. Bathrooms are a little "rustic", but you can get a hot shower MOST of the time. You can get a pretty pretty good 20€ dinner, where you can meet the other guests. The owners are nice people, I forgot my passport up there are they were nice enough to bring it to me to the la spezia station. Yes, there is a hike to get up there, not the easiest if you have a big backpack or if you are out of shape like me, but you can make it in around 30'. The view is worth it.

  • Rifugio is an amazing place!! You definitely must keep in mind/be aware that it truly is a hike up a mountain of at least 20-30 minutes if you do not have a car. The view is spectacular and portovenere is amazing; I think if not one of my favorite spots now. The food is absolutely amazing and is enough to share. The people are nice and friendly and will help you with any questions about the area.

The apartment is located in the historic center of the seaside village just a stone's throw from the sea and from the bus stop to Portovenere. It is equipped with every comfort: entrance, living room overlooking a balcony with beautiful sea view, living room, bathroom with shower. Nearby there are a pizzeria, bakery, grocery, fruit and vegetable, newsagent, bar, laundry, tobacconist. A few meters away you will find the beach and a beautiful pine forest. In front of the vintage sails.
The sea-view balcony makes the apartment a small table and two chairs for lunch or dinner as suspended in the bay.
The area is quiet close to all amenities, bars restaurants, groceries etc .. The location allows easy access to the provincial to walk to Porto Venere. You can visit the ancient Roman saunas, the sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace, the monastery of the Friars Olivetani, the Museum of Axis Masters.
  • We enjoyed our stay at Sabrina's place a lot. The location is close to Portovenere and La Spezia and lies itself in a charming small village with a nice harbour. The flat was perfectly clean and has a very nice view from the balcony. We would definitely come back here!

    Lena2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was located in the lovely and quiet town of Le Grazie, with a few restaurants and a supermarket close by. The view from the balcony was wonderful, perfect every morning to sit and have breakfast, and to relax in the evening watching the twinkling lights of the boats. The apartment was very clean and tidy. You can walk to Portovenere in about 30 minutes, and we also found the nearby hiking path to make our way to Campiglia in the Cinque Terre National Park, which takes about 3 hours one way. My only other comment is that the air conditioning unit in the bedroom is extremely loud, if you want to keep cool at night, keep all the doors and some windows open to get a breeze through. Overall a lovely place to stay.

  • really nice place!

  • A nice apartement in a nice and quiet place close to La Spezia and Cinque Terre. Sabrina was very kind and helpful.

    Jan Emil 2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • The location is spectacular, the apartment cosy and scenic, and Sabrina and her family were super hospitable hosts. The apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway for two and is well heated for the winter months. The most incredible thing about the place is the view from the terrace, a great place to sample the local wines. Note that the location is a short bus trip or a spectacular hilly walk (I advice the later) to the historic village of Portovenere (probably the most spectacular place I have been to anywhere in Italy. I can imagine that Sabrina's house would be ideal for the high season months as it would be out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist rush. Spend at least 2 nights to get to know the place. There are some good restaurants and a pub very close. You can take the bus from La Spezia and the stop is just opposite the apartment. Just make sure you get off at the right stop, so ask first.

  • Great place! Will come back for sure!

  • Roberta was the best! When we arrived she was there to greet us with great suggestions and made us feel very welcome. Her communication was great and her home was top notch. Great views of the bay, very spacious, very well kept and clean! The off street parking was a real plus as well. The location was exceptional for walking into Portovenere which was a real gem! We hope to return and highly recommend Roberta as a host!

    Michael2016-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is nicely appointed with everything one needs to stay several days. The location is excellent and the view of the sea from the apartment is fabulous. Also, Roberta is a great host who met us on arrival and took us to the train station when we left. 5 stars!

    Brian2017-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Portovenere is a gem of a town, and Roberta's flat is superb. Cinque terre without all the tourists. And the view outside the large flat is to die for. You really can't beat this place. Be sure to take a day trip to fantastic Lucca only a little over an hour away.

    Barry2017-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • We (2 couples) stayed in Roberta's apartment for 10 days and it was perfect. The location, decor and facilities were everything I hoped for and more. Swimming beach across the road, easy walk to supermarket, town centre, restaurants, cafes, ferry landing. We could easily have stayed longer. Genuine sense of local community. We arrived late due to a train strike and Roberta met us at the train station and gave us a lift herself and booked us into a restaurant for dinner once we had settled. Roberta had a file of information and recommendations and also emailed to check things were going okay. Highly recommended.

    Leanne2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Utterly sublime. Everything was perfect. The apartment, the location, the welcome were all really fantastic. Roberta is absolutely lovely. She is efficient, considerate and thoughtful. There were many many little touches and flourishes that were a delight. From the house book - which is the best example we've ever seen - to the provision of umbrellas - (not needed this trip) - to the restaurant recommendations - to the very luxurious soaps and shampoos. Even the way the towels were presented was special - tied with silk ribbons. It was all an unalloyed delight. We really hope that we can return.

    TOM2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Roberta was a super helpful and friendly host. Her apartment was well equipped and the view from the amazing terrace was stunning. The location is perfect and Porto venere as a village is very cozy and our favorite along the Cinque terre coast line. We definitely recommend Roberta and her apartment for anyone who wants a great, relaxing vacation. We will certainly be back!

    Alexander 2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Roberta's place. She was very kind and welcoming. She even offered to pick us up at La Spezia station (but in the end it was not necessary). The place is very beautiful, what a wonderful view! Everything was clean, the rooms were spacious and confortable. There were toiletteries, towels, beach towels... and also some welcoming focaccia. I definetely would recommend this place in Portovenere.

    Renato2017-05-01T00:00:00Z

  • We had a very enjoyable stay in Le Grazie. Mimma and her husband greeted us warmly and showed us around the apartment. There were five of us (one family), and we found the apartment to be spacious and comfortable. It also has an incredible view. The home was clean and well equipped (especially the kitchen), but you might need to go to the local market for some basic supplies (e.g., laundry detergent, extra toilet tissue). We hope to return to Le Grazie some day and would stay in Mimma's place again.

    Greg2015-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mimma's apartment listing was completely accurate and a great quiet area. She welcomed us and was there for us if we had any other questions during our stay. We loved our view of the port! The small quaint town of Le Grazie is beautiful and perfect for relaxing while being able to access the Cinque Terre area.

    Olivia2015-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great localisation, not too crowded. Spacious and clean accomodation, well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view from the balcony. We recommend this place to other people.

  • Mimma and her husband where absolutely lovely and caring, full of information they had pasta and sauce and fruit for our arrival, which was so much appreciated. This apartment is georgous it faces the beautiful harbour of Le Grazie near Portovenere which should be labelled as one of the cinque terre its a fantastic place, where you catch the boats for the cinque terre , there is a bus to take you there or La Spezia where you can also get the train. It was our favourite place on a 8 week holiday we did not want to leave this apartment, you can swim here wander around the harbour and sit on that wonderful balcony and the breeze is lovely and watch life in Italy. You just cant find a bettter place we highly recommend to stay here from 2 people that have travelled all over the cinque terre and Italy. We are so glad to have found this haven. It takes at least 3 to 5 days to fully enjoy this area of the cinque terre.

  • The owner waited us in the apartment before the estimated arrival and she was so kind introduce everything. Finding the flat was easy and after the first day it was easy to park. The apartment was the same as on airbnb and we really liked everything. The view was amazing!

    Terez2016-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • The flat in Portovenere was lovely. Mimma and her husband were waiting for us on arrival and showed us around and explained things. Special thought had been put into the fact that we were coming with two small boys, including fresh milk and breakfast. The flat is spacious and well equipped, especially in the kitchen, and has amazing views from all windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mimma.

    Portovenere, Liguria, Italy

My parents' apartment is located in Le Grazie, in the municipality of PortoVenere, whose historic center is only 3km, a village of about 1,800 inhabitants. overlooking the sea, in a beautiful bay and there are two small beaches. This accommodation is in a quiet neighborhood, has spacious spaces, essential, services, kitchen, fridge, private parking space. It is suitable for couples, families with children and groups of friends. It is given to the exclusive use of who to book. Suitable as a base for visiting the area
The apartment is located on the third floor of a condominium and is about 90 square meters. Large entrance leads to the kitchen and TV room and a sofa bed (2 places), then a double bedroom (2 places) and a bedroom with 2 separate beds, and a bathroom. You can park in the private yard of the condo (one car until seats are exhausted, no fixed place).
The neighborhood is very quiet and safe as the rest of the country. We recommend beautiful promenades along the promenade where you can admire beautiful and historic large sailing boats: Orion, Astra, Deva, Black Swan, etc. Just 3 km away, the beautiful Porto Venere with its "carrugi" and the church of S.Pietro overlooking the sea and in front of Palmaria Island.
  • We spend beautiful holidays in Franco's home. The house was clean and verry practical. Franco is a great host, I strongly recommend this accommodation :) Thanks for all !

    Laura2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Franco's place was just what we were looking for. Its situated a quiet town, not full of tourists. It has everything you need for a short stay. There's a great local bus service, and the walk over the hill to Portovenere is great, it takes about 40 minutes and the views are beautiful.

    Molly2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Hey all! Franco was really helpful prior to and during our arrival and he made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. In fact, his family filled in when he couldn't be there to ensure that we had everything and that was really sweet :) The place is awesome and really roomy. We were a group of three and we were happy to be able to leave with no issues whatsoever. The place is right in between La Spezia and Portovenere and thereby easily accessible. They even had some brochures about traveling to nearby places in the apartment and that helped us as well.

    Akshat2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Easy access to the bus to Portovenere to go get the Ferry to see the Cinque Terre. Quiet seaside village with a few restaurants along the harbour within short walking distance.

    Marlene2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Really loved Franco's simple apartment as our home base for all our Porto Venere and Cinque Terre excursions. Franco is super helpful with anything you need -- our flight was delayed and he waited, no problem, to greet us at 12:30am! We would spot him around town and he was always kind and friendly. We felt at home in the little town of Le Grazie - easy walk to kids park, market, beach and gelato shops which even have gluten free cones!! We easily purchased passes to the public Vodafone wifi so could access the internet in the apartament. It was a little tricky to find the apartment at first as you needed to turn the wrong way on a one way street but only for a short bit to enter the parking lot. Parking can be a challenge but for us was generally available even if you had to be clever with fitting your car into small spaces or make your own space on the property. Lovely little town and people. Would definitely recommend Franco's apartment!!

    Renata2017-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Quick replies, spacious apartment and smooth check-in. We can also recommend staying in la Grazie. you avoid the big stream of tourists in the area.

    Måns2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • La Grazie is really a nice gem. It is no touristy at all. It has beautiful views, couple beaches, few restaurants and couple grocery stores. The life slows down once you're there. It is Ideal place for a summer vacation. The flat is very spacious and could sleep up to 6 people. Four of us were comfortable in it. There is no air condition but because it is close to the sea there is a nice breeze when windows are open. Franco is very nice and responsible. We only met him at check in as there were no issues. There is car parking in front of the building. Really nice place to have few relaxing days.

    Eugene2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Franco was very accommodating. He has meat us at the Bus stop and picked our luggage in his car. The only down side was that his apartment did not have Wi-Fi. Over all his place was real good and close to the Bus stop.

Completely restored appart. 3 min walking from the seaside, shops, bus stations. Fully-equipped kitchen, bright living + tv, 2 cozy bedrooms, big bathroom and nice balcony. A green location for a relaxing holidays.
It was a bit hard to find, because it is tucked behind other apartments on a small stret, but our lovely host was readily available to contact for directions! It was 30 degrees the whole time we were there, but the apartment was sooo cool inside the whole time! Everything is renovated nicely, but with a bit of old Italian charm as well! I can only recommend staying here!

    Chelsea2015-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was perfect for our weekend. It is close to the bus stop and the apartment itself is very modern and spacious. It is a little difficult to find because it's only accessible by a walking path, but still wasn't too difficult with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. Thank you so much Luigi and Jessica, your place was amazing and you were excellent hosts!

  • La Grazie is a small village with a little beach. It's close to cinque terre and porto venere, but the apartment is not in the touristic area. The apartment is big, new, with a very nice cute balcony and a great shower! In the village is a very good trattoria where we did our grocerys. The communication went very well, during our stay we received some fresh foods from the garden of the host, lovely!

  • Everything in Luigi's flat is great, well placed, not too expensive, in a great village near from transports, sea, shops, bar and restaurants. Everybody is so nice in the village too ! Thanks again, we truly recommend this place ! Grazie !

  • Very nice apartment, actually more modern than it looked on the pictures. 5 min walk to a small beach in cozy Le Grazie, and 35 min walk to beautiful Portovenere (also bus departing several times an hour during summer). No parking included though, and can be difficult to find a place in the area. Francesca, who welcomed us, was very helpful and responded quickly.

  • The house was clean and perfect! Even when our reservation was changed from 2 to 4 people at the last minute Francesca and family were still so accomodating! Close to the beach and Poets Bay. I found this to be the most beautiful place and I would recommend it to anyone ! Thank you Francesca!!!!!

  • Francesca, who received us, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice and big and had everything we needed. Location was perfect to discover the Cinque terre by boat as there are ferries going to isla Palmaria, Portovenere and from there to the Cinque terre villages every day. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is'nt a Guest house, that's our HOME, right over the old fisherman's village of Le Grazie, placed at the last floor of a tipycal Ligurian House, with a great sea view! Really close to Portovenere and public trasportation to get to Cinque Terre.
The apartment has two bedrooms and a nice livingroom, with an open kitchen that have also a dishwasher and everything you will need to cook your meals. The bedrooms are a double with king size bed and another with a couch bed that can be transfomed in three beds. Because we have children, there is also a baby bed that you'll be free to use during your stay. The bathroom have a huge shower and a washing machine. There is air conditioning in the living room, that will service all the house.
You will fall in Love with Le Grazie!!! Everybody loves our village... it is not a turistic site, not much confusion and a very calm sourroundings. In the Port you'll find some "Old Ladies", Tall Ships, that rests on the moor, a must see! Anyway, if you want to get around, Portovenere is at 5 minutes distance by bus and 5 Terre are easily reachable by train or ferry. we will explain everything on your arrival anyway!
  • We had a wonderful stay in this cosy apartment in the beautiful and very charming little town of Le Grazie. The apartment is easily reached by public transportation, the bus stop at 30 meters, the bus takes you to La Spezia in about 15mins (busstop is a 10min walk from La Spezia Centrale) and it's just one bus stop from Portovenere. Therefore it serves as a perfect base to visit the Cinque Terre and the surrounding area, if you don't want to stay in busy and much more tourist-filled locations such as La Spezia, the Cinque Terre towns or Portovenere. We didn't meet Massimiliano in person, but communication was fine in advance, his friendly mother welcomed us and showed us around, mostly referring to a very carefully put together guide with instructions. The apartment was very cute and had everything we needed, it was tidy and still had a lot of touches of a family that had clearly lived there happily before moving out. All in all: a great experience which we would recommend to all planning to stay a little bit off the beaten path but just conveniently close enough to the Cinque Terre.

  • A cozy apartment in a very calm place. The best place for those who seeks the beauty of the nature. The rooms are very nice and the neighbourhood is the same. Very close to CinqueTerre. Massimo's mother provided us with the neccessary information about local pecularities and curiosoties.

  • This is a cosy, well equipped apartment in Le Grazie. Great location for exploring Portovenere and Cinque Terre with beautiful view over Gulf of Poets from the sitting room window. The apartment itself is in general fine and as shown in the pictures. The bathroom seemed to have a bit of a damp issue while we were staying, but all other rooms were fine. Street parking outside the house very useful if arriving by hire car and the apartment was easy to find. Child friendly with equipment and toys.

    Kelly2015-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • The host is very nice, helpful and caring. Neighbours in la grazie are nice and cheerful. The home is warmth and the view is amazing! The only thing is there's no wifi in the Home. So, we have to go to the cafe nearby to use the Internet. Their home located near providence. You can walk 45mins from la grazie to providence and you can see the whole beautiful view of la grazie or just take a bus for a few stops to there. It's a very good experience to stay.

    Haylie2015-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • A nice apartment with everything you need! Very cosy, clean, neat and close to buses to La Spezia and Porto venere. Parking available outside in the street. En route to the Muzzerone for anyone with a climbing interest. Maximilian and his mother were very friendly and helpful! All in all, a great place to stay!

  • In the first thank to Anna for giving us all the information needed for an unforgettable week at Le Grazie. The apartment is exactly as you see in the pictures, it is nice and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook whatever you want. It is very well located, near the bus stop and is easy to take a ferry to the Cinque Terre or Palmaria Island. Thanks Massimiliano

  • Wonderful house in an idyllic location... busy and exciting but away from the main crowds in the national park. We loved this House and would most certainly AirBnB here again.

  • What a wonderful place!! We have been at Portovenere a few times now and this was the best location so far, especially when you like to explore the Cinqueterre and the Islands. The apartment was cozy, very clean, large enough for 4 and has a huge (!!!) terrace with tremendous views over the bay!! Thank you Giuliana for the perfect accomodation. :)

  • We spent wonderful time in Portovenere. The location is perfect. The apartment is well equipped ,close to free beaches, restaurants and shop with delicious foccacia :-) View from the biggest terrace is amazing. It was our 6th time in Italy and the best place to live so far. Guliana and her husband are great hosts. Thank you for lovely stay once again.

Parkering for to biler innenfor låst port.

Apartment situated on the hills of the Gulf of La Spezia in Montale. It is about 6 km from the city center and is on the road leading to Portovenere about 10 minutes. Close to the paths of the CAI and AGV to reach the 5 lands and surroundings.
The apartment is located on Via del Montale, nr 46 La Spezia but to reach the destination with navigator better insert "climb of the plain." To reach the apartment, take the SP530 provincial road to Portovenere and at the junction for Cadimare, turn right onto U. • Perfect central location to stay to visit the Cinque Terre!

  • Apartment is quiet and cosy. Monica was great, offered some suggestions where to eat and what to visit, left us with a lot of information. It's a great location if traveling by car, but if you follow the directions you'll find it. It's very close to La Spetia(couple minutes by car) and fairly close to Porto Venere (10-15 mins by car)

    Eugen2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Monica was simply awesome, she went above and beyond her duties. She was incredibly communicative for check in and helpful throughout with local tips of getting to portovenere and 5 terre that were truly useful. She also recommended where to eat and visit in the area. Her apartment is small and cosy with a big bed and eveyrthing you need for an enjoyable stay. It is perfectly located between la spezia and pt. vennere! Thanks so much for everything!

  • The apartment is clean and specious enough for 2 persons. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed was comfortable and the area was quite. We had a nice stay and is a good place to stay and visit cinqe terre if you have a car. The only thing was annoying is that Monica asked for turist tax in cash. 2.5 € per person per night It's nothing but why the price you see in Airbnb is not included!

Beautiful apartment in downtown Portovenere by the charateristic "caruggi" and a view to the outstanding landscape.
The flat has every comfort such as TV, wi-fi, kitchen, Nespresso machine, bathroom with shower and bidet, bedroom with a king-size bed and a ceiling fan and a big wardrobe.
  • Portovenere and the apartment were both great. The apartment was perfectly located on the main street and with a view of the sea from the kitchen (with no obstruction). Fabiola (Andrea's mother) greeted us kindly and showed us the best place to swim and where to have apertivo and dinner - both of which were great. Overall we would highly recommend staying in this apartment and in Portovenere, we had a great time and wish we could spend more time there.

    Christopher2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding views from the apartment. Sit by the window and watch the activity on the water and by the cafes below. Portovenere is a great location away from Cinque Terre but accessible by boat which added to the stay. The village itself is quaint and easy to walk around and enjoy the sites. Added touches- coffee, tea, cold water fresh focaccia upon arrival were welcomed. Laundry facilities with an out of window clothes line topped off our adventure. I would highly recommend this place the host and apartment were perfect ++++.

  • This is a wonderful apartment in Porto Venere. A 3 minute walk from the ferry which will take you to La Spezia or Cinque Terre. There is a lot to see in Porto Venere. It has an interesting history and buildings, with lots of great walking. The apartment has fantastic views from the living room/kitchen of the marina and islands opposite, and as you leave the front door you step out into a delightful little street with shops selling delicious focaccia and ice cream...little cafes and charming restaurants. It was quiet and peaceful at night even if animated during the day. A fabulous place to base yourself to see the Cinque Terre. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, it was great to have a small kitchen to enjoy making an occasional meal and we especially appreciated the washing machine! We have no hesitation recommending Andrea's apartment and we will definitely return at some stage.

  • Great hospitality! The description is very accurate and my stay was wonderful. This apartment is in the middle of Portovenere and is accessible to everything. I refused to stay in La Spezia because it is too busy there, however, Portovenere was phenomenal. The host made my stay much more enjoyable, I was greeted with local food, great hospitality, and an espresso machine! Anytime I had a question, I received a response within minutes! Thank you! Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to check out Cinque Terre.

  • This is a real gem. Such a great spot to relax and chill for a few days, away from the madness of CT. Our hosts were amazing with help and directions and the house was so ice. But it is the view that you will love.... Straight into the bay and watching boats come and go all day. Amazing, and we will be back!!

    Jenny2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was simply lovely with everything you might expect plus touches from the host family that were exceptional such as flowers, chocolates on the pillow plus coffee for the Nespresso machine! We stayed for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. The view from the apartment is as shown in the photo gallery and it was lovely to just watch the world go by. Porto Venere is a delightful small town without the crush of the other towns on Cinque Terra and also a great transit point getting about. The communication from the hosts was so good and we have nothing but praise for the way the family make the guests feel welcome. We would highly recommend this apartment, hosts and area. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Thanks Francesca and Andrea (and mum).

    Helen2017-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Andrea's place. It was exactly as it was described and had lovely touches throughout; lovely pictures and Portovenere items dotted throughout. The apartment had everything we needed and was in the best location. Portovenere offered us a beautiful relaxing yet eventful stay...there are things to do and it was busy but without being overly crowded. When we arrived there was a festival on so it was loud due to music on the waterfront, there are indeed lots of crowds..this isn't typical of Portovenere and it returned to normal after a few hours. I think it was the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment. Portovenere is a great place to stay when exploring a range of other places. There are lots of options to visit various places in a day...cinque terre, pisa, various other islands. You can catch a boat or get a bus for half an hour to la spezia where you can take a train to many places! Portovenere has a beautiful main Street filled with shops and patisseries and there are lots of Portovenere eateries. There is a gorgeous church on top of the hill which offers lovely views of the Bay. The water front has many restaurants offering a range foods and prices to suit everyone. We enjoyed many lovely meals. The most amazing part of our stay was the wonderful , breathtaking view of the waterfront. It is unbelievable and you never get bored of looking out across the water. The sound of the water lapping against the boats in the morning was very relaxing. The room did get quite warm but the powerful fan in the room helped although it was quite noisy in the night. Opening the main window and bedroom doors offered a nicer breeze. I can't fault our stay, everyone was so helpful and I only wish we could have stayed longer!! We Highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!!

It is a quiet village and in summer it is packed with initiatives. Within walking distance are beaches, bars, pizzerias, restaurants, shops, supermarket. Within walking distance there is a very large parking lot, bus stop for Portovenere and La Spezia (trains), ferry port for Portovenere and Palmaria The house is within walking distance of the beaches: one of sand near the pine forest and the other of pebbles and rocks in front of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace.
  • The apartment is really nice and quite. Location is perfect: away from the crowd of tourists, in the middle of a Le Grazie, a cute familly village, a few meters from the water of the sea and the bus stop to reach La Spezia, Cinque Terre and Portovenere. You even have good restaurants and bars at walking distance. Host are very friendly and 100% dedicated to make your stay as perfect as possible. Definitely a good spot to visit Cinque Terre and Riviera di Levante and we'd go there again with great pleasure.

  • All good, much better than expected. The flat is great, we felt at home since the very first moment...wouldn't mind to live there for some time. We liked the location a lot, 1 minute walk to the port, sea views from the flat, very close amenities (good pizzeria at 30 meters)..also is in a not turistic place but close to Portovenere(10 min) and Cinque Terre (30 min). Thanks Maria and Andrea!

  • My husband and I stayed in Maria and Andreas apartment for 3 weeks and had an amazing time. It was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had and we have Maria, Andreas and their family to thank for that. They are such lovely people and could not do more for us! They really went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good stay and we really felt like we were being taken care of. We really appreciated all they did for us. They are genuinely lovely people and they really care about their guests. The apartment itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views from the balcony are gorgeous as well. Public transport is just across the road and has regular buses that will take you to La Spezia in less than 30 minutes and Portovenere in 5 minutes. We loved the area, Le Grazie. It is a small local village with a beautiful harbour. It has everything you could need, shops, restaurants etc.. and lovely friendly people. We were sad to leave this amazing place but we will definitely return in the future. Can not recommend this place highly enough!

  • A very nice apartment in a lovely small city. Beach, shops and restaurant are very close. You can let parked your car and walk around or take the bus in few minutes to reach La Spezia or Portovenere.

  • Fantastic! We would book again. We actually tried to extend the stay because the apartment, views, restaurants, people and hiking in La Grazia far exceeded our expectations. But the apartment was already booked by another couple and the airbnb we are now in is nice but not the same value as Maria's. Maria's apartment was spacious, clean, had a lovely view, was well equipped and was less than a 3 minute walk to great coffee, restaurants, bakery and the water. We loved having room to spread out after two weeks of traveling and staying in small rooms. The hosts are very helpful if you have questions about the town. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps doesn't take you the exact place so plan to meet them at the small roundabout about 20meters off the road leading into town. Very easy to find. Parking is easy. A visit to the bakery and dinner at Il Gambro is also a must. Both far exceeded the places we ate at in Cinque Terra and for half the price. La Grazia is definitely a hidden gem for relaxing and hiking overlooked by the tourist guidebooks.

  • Giovanna and her son Jan were great hosts. Check in and check out was easy and Jan was very helpful and explained everything about the house in detail. The house is clean, secure and contains everything you need for a short or long stay. The neighborhood has a small supermarket, bars and a number of restaurants, some of which are "foreigner friendly". There are views of the harbour from some of the house windows and across the street the ferry to Portovenere can be caught which links in with the Cinque Terre ferries. Access to the house from La Spezia railway station is easy. The "P" bus can be caught 100 meters from the station and drops you about a 2 minute walk from the house. Cost is €2.50 one way. Thank you Giovanna and Jan.

  • Not only was the place beautiful but it was also full of anything we needed. Incredible views, peaceful town. Giovanna's home made for an unforgettable weekend.

    Sandra2016-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Giovanna's house was exactly as described, well stocked, and in a great location between La Spezia and Porto Venere, easily accessible by bus. We would have liked wireless internet access, but that was the only fault.

    Britton2017-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed arriving Fezzano where Giovanna and her son greeted us and showed us around. The village is very simple and quaint. It was a beautiful little harbor with a real authentic Italian charm. Our host was there to greet us and showed us around and gave advice. The apartment was small and three levels with the bedrooms on a different level as the bathroom and kitchen which made it a little awkward to go up and down a spiral staircase but you soon get used to it. Other than missing some bath towels (there was only one for the three of us) we found everything else we needed. Thank you Giovanna for making our time in the Cinque Terre area memorable!

    Bonnie2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful apartment with a stellar view! Very well stocked which was lovely and Giovanna assisted us with things herself. If you have very small kids be aware there are spiral stairs and other open stairs. We watched our 3 year old like a hawk. It was a beautiful place, very close to a bus that goes between la spezia a day portovenere. Thank you Giovanna!

    Su2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • The house is charming and has stairs but not a problem Great sized rooms and living space. As described. Peaceful town with very little to do but it was used as base for many day trips. Easy to use bus to get to Portovenere and La Spezia. It seems that parking has just changed, but we parked across the field on the street with no problems. If you have little children there is a great park 2 min walk. Every where we ate was wonderful, the mussels are out of this world!! WE were late on arrival and Giovanna waited without problem. Great location and clean!

The house is immersed in the green and in the sun and the quiet reigns sovereign; The view is unmatched, the location is unique. It is very cozy, bright and is equipped with all the amenities. In 20 minutes of footpath you arrive in the center of Portovenere and the sea.
Martina is an ancient stone farmhouse that for centuries dominates Portovenere from Mount Muzzerone, a crossroads of the hiking trail towards the Cinque Terre and for many years the goal of rockers coming from all over the world to reach the well-equipped walls of the beautiful cliffs that peak on sea. The house is 200 meters above sea level, within walking distance of Rifugio Muzzerone; To reach it you have to leave the car at a precise point and walk along a path through the Park of Portovenere (path # 1 of the CAI) for a few hundred meters. It is not a demanding path, almost all in plan apart from the last stretch in a slight slope, but better to be nature lovers! It is a trail in the woods, in the Park, and is not enlightened, but is very busy even in the evening, because the local people go to dinner at the Rifugio, which is 50 meters; You have to wear a backpack or shoulder bag, avoiding the trolley, and at night, you need a torch :-) Here silence reigns sovereign; You only feel the scent of the wind, the sea and the Mediterranean scrub and the view spans the Gulf of Poets, the Apuane, Versilia and the west to Gorgona and Corsica. From the house you can walk down to the village and the sea in about 15 minutes walk (of course the climb is a bit harder, depends on the state of form, I use 20 minutes!), Choosing one of two fantastic trails. Once in the country you can spend a day at Portovenere, where you can find well-equipped beaches, or Palmaria Island (also equipped with pretty beach) or take a ferry and visit the Cinque Terre or Lerici. The home inside is really very comfortable, fresh in summer and perfectly aired in winter thanks to advanced renovation techniques and thick stone masonry. It is composed of: on the ground floor a very large living area with TV, fireplace and kitchen, a double bedroom with TV and a bathroom with double bathtub. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms, each with a TV and private bathroom, one with Jacuzzi. In the summer months there is a large plastic pool, very pleasant and appreciated. No breakfast is served at Rifugio Muzzerone where you can also have lunch and dinner: Excellent food (frequented by locals), incomparable view, smart atmosphere and reasonable prices. However, you will have a modern nespresso machine with coffee / cappuccino / tea maker, and a fridge to store food and drinks that you can buy for your own account and consume in your room or in the garden. In case of arrival with the car, you must use the detailed map of airbnb photos. Coming from Portovenere, you will have to go along the path 519 leading directly to the hut and to the house.
  • We had an amazing time at Antonio's House. The view was true to its pictures... Just breathtaking! The hike to the house from the city was great, in the middle of the olive trees just before we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the refugee right near to the place. So, do not hesitate ;)

    deborah2016-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Antonio's. The location couldn't be more scenic, ideal for hiking. At night the route from Portovenere (circa 25 minutes walking) really is completely dark though, make sure to bring a flashlight!

Our house is a typical country house near Le Grazie and Portovenere. The house is on 2 levels with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has a large front garden with a wonderful panorama over the gulf. At least 3 nights as minimum staying time allowed.
Typical country house located near the famous attractions of Le Grazie and Portovenere. The house is characterized by original cotto tile floor and ceiling with exposed timber beams completely renovated. The main strength of the house is the amazing panoramic view over the Gulf of La Spezia. The house can be reached in 20 minutes drive from La Spezia. We'll help you with all the information needed to reach our house. Once in La Spezia, you have to follow the directions for Portovenere (Viale Fieschi). Once in Viale Fieschi, you have to go straight for 10 minutes and turn on the right in Via Pezzino Alto (after Fezzano village). The House is located in Via Capanna, a little street you'll find on your right. You'll have access to a private parking, here you can leave your car, connected to the house by a path of 100 meters. The location is great for nature lovers which can combine splendid days spent on the beach with countryside walks on the trails of the CAI which connect the location to Portovenere, Campiglia and the 5 lands. Here you can enjoy nature in great relax!
  • We arrived at the house to find it wasn't as we expected. Although very exciting for some, it was very unpractical when travelling with a young baby. Unfortunately the hot water did not work on the first night (but was fixed the next day) and the walk from the car to the house is very difficult with a baby in the dark.

    Jürgen2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • We spent our Easter holiday in this charming house on top of the hill in Le Grazie, with an absolutely stunning view of the La Spezia Gulf. The drive and walk are definitely worth the scenery for guests who are keen on natural beauty and want to avoid the stressful holiday crowds down by the port towns below. The town of Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre region are easily accessible by car, and Tuscany is a 2h drive away, making this a great base for driving around the beautiful region. Our hosts were as helpful and attentive as possible considering the location, and the facilities were rustic, pretty and comfortable. Definitely great for a summer holiday get-away =)

    Marcos2017-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Alessandra was very helpful and provided us with all necessary information about the house. She was kind to wait us due to our late arrival. The spot is very convenient to reach the Cinque Terre area as well as Portovenere and La Spezia. The house is very nice and equipped with all basic stuff you may need. A good place to be far from noise and close to your basic needs. Beware that there is a short trail from the parking area to the house, so if you are carrying heavy luggage it may require an extra effort. I recommend staying at Alessandra's place.

    Paulo2015-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • The house was cozy and romantic with a gorgeous view. To wake up in the morning, open the window and admire the turquoise sea, followed by a breakfast on the lovely terrace...you don't get that every day! Alessandra and her family were very pleased to help us with everything and gave us a warm welcome with a typical italian delicatess and a bottle of wine on the table and small flowers in every room. We truly recommend a stay in the house.

    Vera2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Alessandra's house is ideally situated to visit 5 terre villages and to enjoy the stunning view on the bay. We had a really good time there, the house is very cosy, very calm. Alessandra's son, Marcello, welcomed us and we immediately felt at home. On top of that, we had a very nice weather... Everything was perfecto! Don't hesitate if you want to visit the Cinque Terre villages and have some rest in a cosy house with a stunning view: this is the house!

    Benoit2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Alessandra and her family are warm and kind. They were always available to help. We met in a restaurant and they helped us find the house (which would have been hard to find if they weren't here to help). The house is and old one but is charming. The walk (10 minutes) to get to the house is a little hard with suitcases but really beautiful so it doesn't really matters. It's peaceful and the view is amazing, my family and I had a great time!

    Capucine2016-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great welcome! They were really great people and they welcomed me and my friends in a super nice way, even if we arrived later than expected. The place is awesome and the view is breathtaking and the place is clean and big! Only issue: we had a car and that solved lots of issues both to access the house and to visit all the area and cinque terre. So car is recommended.

  • We had an amazing time in Portovenere and this apartment was excellent for our family of 5 for 4 nights. Our hosts went to great efforts to look after us and it made our stay extra special and unique. We arrived late in the afternoon to find Cinzia at the apartment with all sorts of delicious food available and a fridge well stocked with drinks! She set aside some toys for the girls, left guidebooks and pamphlets and provided many suggestions to keep us busy! The photos are accurate and the location is perfect to walk into the old town; there's a handy supermarket down the street. We had a large van which didn't fit into the private parking spot and so we kept it in a parking lot which was a 20 minute walk or quick bus ride away. Our hosts also own a cafe/bar that we visited for lunch which was great. Cinzia was very responsive and went above and beyond what we had expected. She was lovely, warm and inviting and made sure we all had a wonderful time. We would love to visit again!

  • Liso was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. She was kind enough to leave some drinks, food, and treats for our family. The apartment was beautiful and clean, just as pictured. We were traveling with two teenagers and the space was perfect for our needs. The apartment comes with parking which is a major advantage- but a small to mid-size car is best. The apartment is bright, sunny, and modern with a stunning view. The wifi and air conditioning both functioned without fault and the kitchen is fully stocked. Portovenere is a beautiful vacation/beach town and has easy access to Cinque Terre with the ferry just down the street from the apartment. We would 100% recommend Liso as a host, the loft as a place to stay, and Portovenere as a whole. We hope to visit again.

  • What a great place. The view was breathtaking from every part of the apartment. It was very clean and Cinzia welcomed us with water, food and refreshments. She made us feel right at home immediately. She is kind and helpful and endearing, welcoming us with a traditional kiss on the cheek. Nothing was too much for her and she settled us in with attention to detail in the way things run and work. Really appreciated the two big bathrooms, suitcase space and laundry facilities. We had a delightful stay. Loved everything about our stay and highly recommend.

  • This apartment was the very best we stayed in Italy. The friendly welcome of Liso and cleanliness of the apartment was 5* plus. She welcomed us with great food and drinks and the setting of the apartment looking out over Porto Venere waters was superb. A great way to spend our last 5 days in Italy. Well appointed to area for day trips and very safe to explore in the evenings. We were a party of four ladies and just can't enough about our wonderful time spent at Lisos, thank you once again

  • This was our second visit to porto Venere, and i must say that Liso apartment is the best place to stay. The apartment is exactly like the pics or even better. It comes with a parking space which is a huge plus in porto Venere as parking is super limited. Highly recommend this apartment.

  • Le Grazie is a little sailing village, life is slow, you get to know the locals. Osvaldos communication was excellent, he met us at the apartment and was really helpful, especially as we were able to check in early. The apartment is quite spacious and clean., and is well fitted out. It overlooks the street so you see all the comings and goings. We had ongoing problems with the Wi-Fi which was frustrating, despite Osvaldos assistance in trying to reset it.

Also quite convenient for the ones who come with a car, there is public parking just in front of the apartment. The arrival and departure times were also very flexible, even though due to traffic we arrived very late it was not a problem. The neibourhood is calm, at least at the mid May as we visited there was not much going on, however, Portovenere is very close.

The Villa was designed in 1932 by the most renowned architect of that time, Marcello Piacentini, and consists of two elegant apartments that can comfortably host altogether 10 guests. The property is located in Portovenere County and features an amazing, well furnished, 5000 m2 or 1.3 ac park, overlooking from a privileged position the open water of the Gulf of La Spezia . It also features 101 m or 300 ft of private coastline with private platforms and smooth access to the water.
The upper apartment consists of 1 bedroom, 1 elegant living room with a comfortable queen size sofa bed, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom + outdoor private memorable terrace overlooking the Gulf featuring a gazebo with a outdoor couch, deck chairs, 2 outdoor tables + access to the park and private beach. The lower apartment consists of 2/3 bedrooms, 1 living room and 1 bathroom. The most exclusive and highly valuable amenity of the villa is represented by the 101 m or more than 300 feet of private coastline and beach where you will be granted access to 3 different areas by the sea that can be reached by 3 separate stairways. Among them you will enjoy spending time in the place called "la Rotonda", which consists of an elevated round platform overlooking the gulf, where you will find your personal lounge chairs; from there you can walk to a lower platform and smoothly get into the water. The beach area also features a hidden grotto which is not accessible due to security reasons. Next to the Rotonda you will also find the "Royal rock", which name is related to the fact that at the end of the 18th century, when Italy was still a monarchy, Queen Margherita di Savoia used to go swim in that area while she was visiting the military base of Varignano. According to Italian law, all land closer than three meters from the coastline is public land. Yet there are a few exceptions to this law in the whole country and due to a royal decree that dates back to 1925 the Villa is one of those exceptions. Sea shoes or flip flop are highly advised due to the rocky ground and the presence of sea urchins and seaweed The first feature you will note when arriving at the Villa is the 1.5 acres or 5000 m2 park, that was designed by the same architect that built the house and that will make you feel immersed in a beautiful, shady and cozy nature, overlooking the open water of the gulf of La Spezia, on a side, and the perfectly shaped bay of Le Grazie, on the other. In order to make your experience here unforgettable we have placed several comfortable pieces of furnitures (like a gazebo with a outdoor couch, a hammock, lounge chairs, outdoor tables etc) in the most remarkable spots of the park. Either you enjoy taking a nap under the shade of secular trees or getting tanned, you will surely find the spot that fits you perfectly. Please note that the park also features the largest colonnade overlooking the Gulf in the whole La Spezia area.
  • This place is truly amazing! Brian (host) was fantastic, greeting us warmly and showing us around he entire house and property including the beautiful private beach/waterfront. Brian is a great source of local information, tips on what to do and where to eat. Villa itself is breathtaking. Views are some of the best of the entire area, great location. Villa is clean, well maintained with air conditioning, very comfortable bed, perfect kitchen and great bathroom with standing shower. Could not recommend this place and Brian, more highly. Thank you for making this a weekend we will never forget Brian!

  • My husband and I stayed in the villa together with our mums (so four adults). To stay that we were in heaven is to say the least . Brian is a great, friendly, responsible host - he took a great care of us and communication with him throughout the process of booking/ stay was top notch! Villa itself is unforgettable - the views are magnificent, beds comfy, a lot of space and of course private beach (you need sea shoes but Brian will remind you to bring some). All in all a complete paradise - look no further, this is a must! can't wait to go back!

  • A villa that feels genuinely Italian with incredible view. Brian, the host, was so nice and helpful. We stayed with two toddlers which was ok as long as we watched them all the time. The village was so nice and not at all crowded, still close to Porto venere and ferries to 5-terre.

  • Phenomenal views of the sea/harbour, amazing large terrace that we loved eating, drinking and generally sitting out in, and cozy well-equipped apartments! We loved our stay at Brian's place. We (a family of four adults) made a special arrangement with Brian to use both apartments for paying a little extra, and I think that was definitely the right decision because each apartment is quite small. We also enjoyed the private coastline (note there is no beach) and swimming in front of the property, though beware of sea urchins! Brian was super communicative, recommended restaurants and walks (we tried a few of them and they were all great; the walk was simply breathtaking), and promptly dealt with an issue we had during our stay (the parasol broke in the storm during one of the nights).

If you don't want to walk at all, there's a bus stop just outside the building and a shuttle bus called "Girobus" passes every 15 minutes, ticket on board €1 a/r, to reach in a few minutes beaches and the village. At the same stop you can get on buses to Central Station in La Spezia in about 30 mins. Above the buildings complex there's a private stairway that brings down to the modern part of Portovenere, our guests have the key. In that part you can find public and private beaches, a bar tobacco shop, restaurants, fruit shop, focaccia (tipical bread with olive oil), all this at the bottom of the stairs, starting from the other side of the street. This part is called "Olivo". If you go to the right you'll walk long the promenade, watching the sea and reaching other beaches, the village in 10 minutes, and don't miss its churches San Pietro on the top of the cliff and San Lorenzo, the Doria's castle and the "carrugio", the street in between of thin and tall rocket houses, the dock and "calata", the promenade on the harbour with coloured tall houses. In the flat you will find some brochures, maps, boats infos and time tables, menus and cards to have a good selection of touristic activities and restaurants we warmly suggest. • We have had a great time in Portovenere. The apartment is spacious and the terrace and view are amazing. The communication with Mara is very good, she is very helpful and quick in responding. The apartment wasn't very clean, but Mara offert to ask the cleaner to come again. The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the centre and there are stairs (178 steps!) down to the beach. No problem for us, but something to consider if you have limited mobility. For 1 euro you can take the bus to the centre, or the beach. From Portovenere you can take a boat to visit the 5 Terre or Palmaria Island etc. Good restaurants nearby. It is really great that the apartment has a free, private parking space in front of the apartment building, because there is not much parking space in Portovenere and a lot of visitors! We would have liked Wifi and mist the kettle for heating water for tea of coffee, but those are details. We have enjoyed our stay in Mara's apartment very much and would come again and recommend others to stay here!

  • The apartment was very very nice with fantastic view and close to the beach. A little hard to find coming by bus, but Consuela, Mara's local representative was very helpful. Wi-fi and mattresses on the subbed would have been very nice, but we definitely want come again! Per & Regina

  • Mara is a magnificent host. Her flat in Portovenere is second to none. My wife and I shared every evening enjoying the sunset from her patio while watching ships move in and out of the harbor. Amazing time.

  • Stunning apartment in Portovenere is well situated, clean and warm. Mara is very nice and welcoming. We stayed at her house for a week end and we could easily walk through Portovenere and take advantage of restaurants, bars and nice points. We went twice to Palmaria's Island in front of Portovenere where you can go for a hike, run and take a sun bath. It's a perfect place for sportspeople! We recommend you Mara's apartment which is an ideal place to feel good in Portovenere. Manon and Kevin

  • We were four with our two children (aged 5 and 11) and we have had 12 great days in Portovenere. The village is really beautyful. You can take the boat to the 5 Terre villages and to the La palmeria island. You can also visit the Lia museum of La spezia. Going to Pisa took us 1h30 by car. Swimming in the middle of the fishes at Byron's cave has been wonderfull. Mara's flat is well described and in good state. To reach the nearest beaches, you have a long stairway right down the flat. Our Citroën C4 Picasso could just enter the garage. The weather was good, so we took nearly every meal on the terrace. it does not recieve too much sun and the blinds are efficients. We enjoyed watching the yatchs, cruise ships and cargos going to La spezia harbour.

  • Mara was a great host from the very start, since booking. She gave us helpful directions whilst on route to finding the apartment and was always very accommodating. A lovely lady called Consuelo met us at the apartment and was very sweet and friendly in showing us around and explaining a few things. My girlfriend and I loved the view across the Portovenere Bay and beyond. Many inspired moments admiring the beautiful setting. We visited all the Cinque Terre towns and islands, which were all beautiful. Hiking is definitely recommended between towns although,(take plenty of water). We fell in love with Portovenere and were always pleased to come back to this beautiful old town at the end of our day. Le Grazie and Le Spezia were less inspired for us. The Island of Palmaria is very beautiful, and just a 10min boat ride also. The Apartment itself is very functional, everything is well stocked with beach towels, extra duvets, plenty of kitchen cutlery etc. The Bed is nice and firm, although a very dark bedroom, it is very peaceful. The highlight for us was the sun terrace and balcony. We didn't take a hire car...(it's isnt needed if you want to explore the Cinque Terre), parking is limited in Portovenere also. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your Stunning Apartment Mara. We didn't want to leave it.

The villa enjoys an uninterrupted sea view of the Gulf of Poets. From the magnificent terrace and all five bedrooms you can enjoy an unforgettable sea view. Small apartment located in the enchanting and sheltered creek of the Thanks, just three kilometers from Portovenere, convenient, functional and strategic to easily reach some of the most famous and charming resorts of Levante Liguria. Small apartment in the charming and protected bay of Le Grazie, three kilometers before Portovenere.
The apartment is located on the first floor of a historic building situated right in the center of the village of Grazie, a small hamlet of the Municipality of Portovenere which is only three kilometers away. The accommodation has been completely renovated in 2013. The apartment is on the first floor of a historic building in the center of Le Grazie, near the beautiful Portovenere. The house was completely renovated in 2013.
The enchanting bay of Grazie offers the opportunity to stay in total tranquility, enjoying its delightful panorama and mild climate.
  • First of all: we had a wonderful stay at Donatella's pretty apartment in Le Grazie! The location is wonderful, right on the water and with a nice view from every room of the apt. We arrived a little later then planned but since the communication with her friend Elena was super easy that was no problem and she met us right on time in front of the building. Le Grazie is a beautiful small town with a pretty harbor, nice restaurants and bars and a little beach. Nevertheless, it might be useful to have a car around to explore the surroundings such as the beautiful town of Portovenere. As we didn't have a car, we always took the bus or boat which worked out well for us, too. The apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well equipped so if you are in the mood to stay in at night and cook, that is no problem. Besides, you can find fresh vegetables and fruit, bread and pastries, pasta and a lot more nice products in the little stores nearby. All this, the perfect Italian weather, the nice landscape and good food made our vacation perfect. Me and my friends would definitely come back!

    Lukas2016-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying in Donatello's light and airy apartment. It is newly renovated with a wonderful sense of style and design. There are very large windows on all three sides, which are spotlessly clean! , affording wonderful views of the harbor, the hillside and the boulevard. The kitchen is very well appointed with high-quality pots and pans and tableware. The cupboards had all the condiments necessary for a full kitchen. It is roughly 30 beautiful marble steps up from the street to the front door on the first floor. Parking was very easy and we were able to buy daily permits at a reduced rate at the café down the street. Donatella speaks both Italian and English and is a great communicator. Donatella's apartment is truly a home, and we hope to return again.

  • A very beautiful apartment right on the water close to Portovenere but much much quieter. We had dinner both nights st the fish restaurant next door which was fantastic and we walked to Portovenere both days (about an hour's walk but with incredible scenery). Elena met us at the door on day one and showed us everything we needed to know. A great apartment away from the crowds. Thank you for sharing it.

    Victoria2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We were met by Elena, the owner's designated steward of the apartment outside the apartment at the designated time. It would be great for the person to meet us at the bus drop off rather than the apartment as we had no idea of where we were going.

    Janice2016-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • We were in our honey moon and staying at Donatella house was great! What can be nicer than waking up in a beautiful home with an incredible view of the sea? The appartament was so comfortable, cosy and very well equippied! Le Grazie is a nice quiet place, we were so close to Portovenere, La Spezia, Lerici, Cinque Terre and other destinations! Donatella and Elena are so nice and friendly! We'll come back for sure!

    Dana2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful views of the harbor from the oversized windows in the second floor apartment. The place is in a quaint town reminiscent of St. Tropez before it was famous. Quiet and beautiful. Close to Portovenere and Cinque Terre. A little slice of paradise. Parking is on the street, but was readily available in front of the apartment. Apartment was clean and comfortable with every necessary amenity. We loved it.

    Gary2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here! Donatella's place is stunning, and it's been beautifully decorated! It is just across the road from the beach in Le Gracie so it's in prime spot, with a short 2km walk away from Portovenere which offers incredible views as well. Le Gracie is much quieter and when we went on a day trip to Cinqueterra we were so grateful to come home to some peace and quiet. The communication between her and the lady that helps her (Elena) was perfect and they made us feel right at home - much appreciated! We wish we could've stayed longer and if we are every back in Italy, we will definitely come back here! Grazie mille!! Ciao

  • Donatella's place is very charming. Perfect for one couple and one child. The view from the flat is stunning. Decoration and equipment are beyond expectation. Le Grazie is a nice little harbour with everything you need and remains close to all the region point of interests. The perfect Italian experience.

In the upper part of the village of Fezzano, surrounded by the green hills between Porto Venere and Cinque Terre, a XVIIIth Century small house with an old-fashioned flavour enclosed in a typical quiet Ligurian pedestrianized area reachable with stairs only.
A home for those who love history and want to experience the atmosphere of a Ligurian village. The house is in a part of the Fezzano village (called Alloria) clinging to the hill at sixty meters above sea level, and she is enclosed in a series of houses attached to the other dating back to the Eighteenth Century, in a very pleasant corner characterized by the silence typical of a village in Liguria: she has separate entrance, and you enter the small living room, then there is a master bedroom, a sitting room, a small kitchen and a little bath with shower. The house has been completely restored, but the original wooden ceilings and “graniglia” antique floors have been left, and in the fully equipped kitchen the old fireplace hood and a precious marble gray Carrara washbasin have been preserved. In general, a characteristic of Liguria are staircases and steps, small villages clinging to the hill where you do not come with cars and narrow streets with few parking spaces that are often all for a fee. So you can not get in front of the house with the car but only close and then you have to go down a stairway with low steps for a few meters. The road where you can park your car, with a paid parking permit included in the price of the house, is via Simonetta Vespucci Cattaneo (the model of Botticelli represented in the paintings the Spring and Birth of Venus, who when she was a child lived in Fezzano). The via Simonetta Vespucci Cattaneo is about 500 meters long: near the houses the parking lots are often occupied, especially in summer and in holiday periods, while there are available parking spaces when you going down.
  • The house was clean and Roberta was very helpful in explaining everything to us. You have to climb quiet a few stairs to reach the place but it is worth it. I really enjoyed staying at the place.

    Nisheet2017-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Roberta greeted us warmly and her little cottage was idyllic! With all the modern amenities it was a step back in time. Quiet, charming and a short distance from amazing sites. We would definitely stay here again!

    Colleen2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • First off, Roberta was fantastic. The apartment itself was really great as well except that there were tiny ants all over the place. It seems common in Italy to not have screens on windows, so they just come inside as they please. The most important thing to consider about staying here is the location. There is next to zero parking in the town at the bottom of the hill, and you have about a third of a mile walk down steps to get to town. If you have no problem handling stairs (10ish minutes of climbing), then stay here. If that worries you, you may find the walking and alternative driving to be frustrating. Overall though, we loved our stay. The views were amazing, ants aside, the apartment was clean, and Roberta was extremely helpful.

    Ryan2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We spent an amazing week exploring the villages and towns around Fezzano. Roberta was a wonderful host who gave us plenty of tips about the area. The apartment is lovely - very clean and comfortable with the ancient charm of the typical Ligurian hillside village. Fezzano is a very small village with a few restaurants and a marina, and you can reach the downtown village by stairs (there are a lot of stairs in these villages!). We had our own car, and it was convenient to park it free of cost near the apartment. There's a bus stop nearby so you can easily reach La Spezia or Portovenere without a car.

    Anniina2016-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Roberta's house was so charming and spacious. It had a lovely view. She is very nice and helpful. I would use this apartment again, and recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the area.

  • We had a very nice stay at Roberta's flat! It is a beautiful, traditional Italian flat, fully equipped to spend the holidays there. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and it's very clean! Roberta is a great host, and always there to help. She even put some snacks in the fridge for us! I can really recommend it! From the village fezzano it is only 10 min drive to Porto veneer and cinque terre is only 25 mins away!

    Rebecca2016-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Roberta was an amazing host! The apartment was beautiful. It had our favorite kitchen out of the air bnbs we've stayed at in Florence. There was coffee and tea and sugar and salt which is actually a really nice touch. She also left us pastries and cookies and jam. She was super nice, went above and beyond for us. There were no buses to take us back to catch our train in la spezia and she took two trips to take our group to the station with all our stuff. She was so nice and sweet. She even parked the car and got off on the station to say goodbye, we all hugged her. She was so sweet and nice and the perfect host I honestly couldn't have asked for a better host. She has a binder with information for us and train schedules and taxi numbers, everything we could ask for. She was readily available for anything we needed to ask her. Would recommend for as a place to cinque terre, because it's between that and Puerto venere which is supposed to be wonderful.

    Brigitte2016-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Recommended stay with Roberta. Roberta was very flexible and welcoming. Fezzano is a small town but with all you need. Roberta provided us with complimentary snacks and the kitchen was fully equipped. The cottage and town was beautiful and a true local experience. The Internet is a bit slow but a better signal is achieved by placing the pocket cube by the bedroom window. Would stay again.

A romantic refuge with a suggestive view of the Le Grazie village, one of the most characteristic hamlet of the Poets Gulf. A night in very close contact with the sea,on board our ancient sailing boat “ Parvati”.Portido is privacy and adventure.
Parvati is an ancient sailing boat fantastic, signed by the famous Laurent Giles. Our boat is essential and well-suited for people that would like to pass a different night, in very close contact with the sea and themself, . The boat is very pleasant and characteristic, is costituted by a large boat deck, where you can lie down to enjoy a wonderfull starry night; by a cockpit where you can have breakfast, all covered by teak. Below deck there's a small living room with 2 little sofà (that can be one single bed and a little one for children) and a table, where you can drink a very good glass of wine. At the end of the boat there's a cabin with a big double bed. Inside the cabin over the double bed there's a nice porthole that allow you to see the sky also inside the boat. The bathroom and shower are outside the boat. We clean and setup it everyday. It's only 50meter far from the Parvati.
Le Grazie is a very characteristic village of the Poets gulf, it's famous for the deep-sea diver school and for the vintage sailing boat. It's located in a strategic point because very sheltered from the sea storm and very close from Portovenere and Cinque Terre. In the old town center there's a very interesting excavation site of an ancient roman villa, this location is in a military zone but it's open to the tourist. At the end you have to come in Le Grazie to discover the beauty of this village on the sea, that have inspired the most famous poets of the '900.
  • The stay with Alessio was great! The boat is in a beautiful place and Alessio was very attentive. He was flexible in meeting us, brought us a bottle of wine the evening we got there, breakfast in the morning and helped us with questions about the bus schedule and getting around the area. Was a very relaxing night. Wished we could have stayed longer! A nice place to stay in small town Italia. The sleeping area in the boat is not very big. Not that this was a problem, but fair warning. Overall would definitely recommend.

    Tony2015-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Alessio was very welcoming and full of useful information. The boat has been beautifully restored and is full of character. After a day in the heat the boats decks tended to be much cooler than on land with the constant presence of a sea breeze. At night we could leave the hatches open and lie in bed watching the stars - way more of an experience than staying in a regular hotel.

  • Amazing Location and very nice and clean boat! Thank you for this extraordinary experience! We come back for sure 3

  • A nice place to spend a quiet night in Portovenere

    Nicolas2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in Alessio's beautifully restored boat. It was charming and cozy, and we felt like we were gently rocked to sleep at night. We found ourselves cutting our day exploring short, so we could hang out and relax on the boat. The dock is private and quiet, and LeGrazie is a charming little town-a reprieve from the crowds at other places we visited. There is a very nice shower and bathroom on the shore, a short walk from the boat. And then there is Alessio! Alessio helped us with many details, such as train schedules, exchanging US dollars at the local bank, and driving us to the train station when we left. We couldn't ask for a more gracious and accommodating host. If you are looking for unique and fun accommodations, we highly recommend staying here.

    Rose2016-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice host, Alessio and his mom. The bout are great, wooden autentic build in 1960 and fully restored. We had a little problem with finding location, but it's ok. Shower are quite clean.

    Dovilė2017-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time on Alessio's boat. While quite small and rustic, it was very well restored and exceptionally clean. It was big enough for two, with some small bags. Communication was great with Alessio and his mother brought us a small breakfast each morning to the boat. It was very relaxing to read on the deck and watch the sunset. Bed was comfortable and the bathrooms on the dock, a short walk away, were clean and easy. Not much going on in Le Grazie, which was kind of nice, but Portovenere was right around the corner.

    Scott2016-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The sailboat was very nicely appointed. Breakfast was a croissant and coffee or juice. We LOVED taking the motorboat out to Cinque Terre for the day, but were surprised when the total bill was 190 EUR. The description mentions 100 EUR for a certain date range and a 10% discount for staying on the sailboat. Since we weren't in the date range, we were charged 150 for the day's use of the boat and 40 for our fuel. Overall I'd HIGHLY recommend taking a motorboat out for the day, but there was no synergy by staying on the sailboat that night.

  • Cinzia & her family were great hosts - they also were extremely flexible when we had to make a last minute change. the flat was lovely, the location perfect with transport close by, easy trips to both Portovenere and La Spezia, and the village of Cadimare has a lovely few restaurants and a bakery as well. Highly recommend this place.

Consigliatissimo a tutti.

My accommodation is suitable for couples, lonely adventurers, families (with children) and hairy friends (pets).
Independence, tranquility and perfect harmony with nature. I offer the possibility to use wood oven and barbecue. The strongest point in the house is the beautiful view of the Gulf of Poets.
The house is immersed in the olive groves on the hills surrounding the Gulf of La Spezia. Neighbors are nice and helpful people. The nearest village is 4 km away.
  • It was amazing trip to beautiful corner of Liguria, and staying in Euro's house was a "icing on the cake" of this travel! The house has magestic terrace with absolutely incredible view! • Euros "farm" was amazing. Off the beaten track and tourist path. We loved that. A full kitchen and two bedrooms with the most incredible panoramic views over La Spezia. I don't imagine anyone would or could have a better view. The donkeys were a highlight for us. Baby donkeys as well.!! The hosts were so welcoming and happy and proud to share their beautiful place. They went to every effort to collect us and even brought two cartons of milk from the local town for our tea in the morning.

  • Euro was a wonderful host and this is exactly the experience we wanted from our stay. The grounds are beautiful and the views are even better. We wish we could have stayed much longer! We will never forget our stay here, and I highly recommend this everyone traveling to La Spezia. Thank you for hosting us!

  • Euro's place was great. A bit out of the way, but anyways easily connected to the main towns in the area. The host was extremely nice, he is a local and showed us around in his 4x4. Would definitely recommend it, and the view from his terrace is breathtaking :)
