Thai Restaurant
“One of Phuket’s finest all-round dining experiences, Baan Rim Pa is a teakwood house overlooking Patong Bay and serves Thai cuisine with panache. With a fantastic wine selection, an elegant wait staff, traditional dishes served on crisp white tablecloths, Baan Rim Pa is years away from budget Thai eateries. The whole idea behind Baan Rim Pa is to invite diners to sample Royal Thai Cuisine in regal surroundings and it succeeds well, except the seaside location puts the whole experience into overdrive. Opening Hours: Daily from 12pm to 12am Address: 223 Phrabarami Rd, Pa Tong, Kathu District, Phuket 83150, Thailand Tel: +66 (0)93 584 5563”

Cafe
“One Chun (more correctly spelt Wan Jan, meaning 'Monday' in Thai) is a family-friendly restaurant near the intersection of Thepkasattri and Dibuk roads in Phuket Old Town. Unpretentious yet trendy, this restaurant is extremely popular for both its authentic southern Thai cuisine and its quirky vintage décor and relaxed atmosphere. Featuring an alfresco area in its backyard, One Chun is as much a place to meet friends around a drink as a restaurant. Its extensive menu hosts all the favourite Thai dishes from roasted duck with red curry to crabmeat with yellow curry to pork panang – so, plenty of local delicacies for you to sample. As the restaurant mostly caters to locals, be wary of how spicy some of the dishes may be. Opening Hours: Daily from 10am to 10pm Location: 48/1 Thepkasattri Road, Talat Yai, Muang, Phuket 83000, Thailand Tel: +66 (0)76 355 909”

Cafe
“‘Sabai’ means ‘comfortable’ in Thai and never was a place so aptly named as this bar/restaurant in a ‘secret’ location in the jungle between Nai Harn and Kata. Every new arrival is made to feel welcome by the chirpy girls behind the large central bar. Sabai Corner has been built on a bluff overlooking some of the best beach views on the island. The background music is like an auditory Hall of Fame from the 60s: The Band, The Beach Boys, CCR, The Byrds, The Moody Blues are all on regular rotation. Sabai Corner is a good place for a romantic moment but most of all it’s the absolute epitome of tranquility with unbeatable views and a friendly and welcoming team. Opening Hours: Daily from 10am to 9.30pm Location: Karon, Mueang, Phuket 83100, Thailand Tel: +66 (0)89 875 5525”
