Fast Food Restaurant

“Café meets bar meets coffee shop. We love this place and the family that owns it is just amazing. Plus, it’s across the street! Try the Doc’s Choice an amazing hot turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun and the omelet bar on the weekends! It’s a great spot to hang out and do some work or to listen to live music on the weekends. Getting there: From the drive way turn right (west) on Almeria. Make a left onto 3rd Ave. Walk one block. Cross McDowell at the light. Hob Nobs is on the corner of McDowell and 3rd Ave. on the left.”

Coffee Shop

“24 hr coffee shop and bar with fun atmosphere. But the real gem is the monthly burlesque shows in the adjacent space hosted by Spellbound Burlesque and the upstairs speakeasy that is by invite only on Saturday nights (find a manager to get access!)”

Speakeasy

“Downtown PHX's first speakeasy...located...wait for it...in an alley. It's basically located in the basement of the Renaissance Hotel, but the only way you can get there is going through the alley (Central + Monroe). If the red light below the huge mural (Melinda pictured with old Phoenix Hotel behind her) is on, open the metal doors and walk down the stairs...you're there. Lounge cocktail bar...think 1920s-30s vibe. Go for a drink...”
