Vintage log cabin with skylights and gas fireplace. Close to Casino golfing and other Pocono activities. Semi private yard with gas grill and outdoor hot tub 100' away enjoy all seasons in the Poconos
  • I had the most amazing weekend at this cabin! I stayed with my boyfriend and it was so cute and cozy. I loved the hot tub and it was heated and ready to hop in! There was a little place to make a campfire and a gas grill as well as a picnic table. I highly suggest this little cabin! Its wonderful. We will be back!

  • My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at Neil's cabin. As advertised, it was cozy and private, and conveniently located to other Poconos highlights. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and everything else we needed, and there were plenty of fresh towels laid out on arrival. For a secluded getaway, the amenities - including speedy internet - were excellent. I'd definitely stay with Neil again.

  • The cabin was beyond what my girlfriend and I could have hoped for. Everything from the wooded setting to the cozy fireplace to the fast wireless internet was absolutely perfect. Neil made every aspect of our stay as easy as possible. I would highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking to get back in touch with a simpler existence and relax for a few days. We hope to be returning ourselves very soon!

  • My girlfriend and I went for a long weekend out of the city and Neil's cabin was perfect. The place is clean, warm, and cozy and the hot tub was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. Neil was an excellent host. At one point the gas for the stove and fireplace ran out and he was at the cabin to fix it within 10 minutes. We had an excellent experience and are definitely looking forward to coming back again!

  • This is the most amazing place - the perfect getaway, with a fireplace, hot tub, backyard, fire pit, picnic table...all right in the middle of a beautiful forest. Neil was a gracious host, even offering to let us stick around for the better part of a day at no charge, since there were no guests coming in the evening. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

  • I planned this trip on the whim as a Valentine's gift for my boyfriend and I for the dates March 14th-March 17th. Neil responded to all of my messages thoroughly within a reasonable amount of time. Only moments after arriving, my boyfriend said "just to let you know, we are doing this again." I was happy to know that he was as pleased with the cottage as I was. It was clean, neat, and very homey. The gas fireplace was really nice when it got cool and the hot tub located nearby was a great way to relax. We took advantage of the internet to search for trails nearby and addresses of places we made reservations for (horseback riding and zip-lining) as well as the television which has plenty of channels along with the DVD player. We also used to stone stove outside a couple times as well as the indoor stove. Everything functioned properly, and we did not have to worry about bringing pots and pans to cook in. The hammock was also a nice bonus as well as the quiet stream below that was very relaxing when going to sleep. Overall, we had a fantastic time and plan on doing it again sometime, hopefully soon!

  • What a beautiful place. We really enjoyed our stay at Neil's place. Unfortunately I had no chance to meet him, but I really recommend his place.

  • What a relaxing time! My wife and I arrived on a rather snowy day, which only added to the charm of this beautiful little cabin. Spending time in the hot tub with snow coming down, and playing board games in front of the fire was just what we needed to unwind a bit. Excellent in every way!

  • Nice little cabin to stay - we were only there overnight during a fishing trip, but Dominick had everything prepared and set for us. Thanks!

  • The Cozy Cabin truly was a home away from home. The details and things in the home really made us feel comfortable and all were very useful. The home is beautiful and perfect for a getaway. It was better than what I had expect. Thank you Doninick so much for sharing your wonderful home with us! :)

  • The cabin was very peaceful. We enjoyed making a fire in the evening. We spent the weekend hiking in the Delaware Water Gap, which is nearby. Dominick responded over email quickly--everything went smoothly. A great weekend away from the city.

  • This place and host were great! Cozy, very well maintained cabin right off the main road with everything you'd need for a few nights' stay. I didn't see Dominick (no need), but all my questions were answered in an extremely prompt manner. Hopefully we can get back to Lake Wallenpaupack one day! Beautiful sunset...

  • Dominick was an excellent host. He responded quickly, provided great recommendations for the area and even invited us out on his boat one afternoon! The cabin is indeed cozy and comfortable - perfect for two people who are looking to enjoy a weekend near the lake. Additionally, the neighbors were very quiet and the cabin's location right off route 507 means you are no more than 20 minutes in either direction from everything the town has to offer. Would absolutely recommend a stay!

  • I had a wonderful time. Dominick thinks of everything to make sure his guests have a pleasant experience. I can't wait to go back!

  • The pictures here don't do it justice. This was the perfect little secret in the "woods" with a cozy fireplace and just a short drive to Shumon (sp?) park for a hike. Everything felt right out of a Pinterest board and the area is great. Can't wait to come back and visit Lake Wallenpaupak again with our friends. Thanks again for sharing your cozy cabin with us for a relaxing weekend.

  • Had a lovely time in this cozy wood cabin. Dominick's place had everything we needed. A lot of Lake Wallanpaupack is private property, which we didn't realize, but we didn't come with a concrete plan of what to see in the area--just driving around the area led to some hiking trails, sanctuaries, shops, restaurants, etc.

  • The Edinboro lake cabins are the perfect location for a day or two of relaxation! The place is equipped with all the essential items in the house and is very cozy and comfortable. My 3 yr old son loved the loft and would play endlessly there. Would definitely recommend the place to pause for a rest on a big road trip or a weekend getaway!

  • We had a relaxing and smooth stay at Edinboro Lake Resort. We stopped over for just one night and had a great view of the lake as well as access to grills/kitchen for making our own food. (If you grill, be prepared to bring your own charcoal). The staff was friendly and helpful with settling in as well as at the bar and the cabins were clean and comfortable. If we had had more time, we would've taken the kayak out. A really great spot for a stop off on a road trip or an extended stay. Thanks Jake!!

  • The stay at the Lakefront cabins was exactly what we had hoped for. It was steps awake from the lake as you can see in the pictures. We had access to all of the canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards that we wanted and there were approximately a dozen total. Therefore, there should always be something available when you want it. There was a basketball hoop and cornhole. Firepits and hammocks were located at several locations along the cabins. The cabins were clean and had everything in them that you needed. There was a nice size bedroom with a queen size bed and a small flat screen tv. There were 2 bunk beds and a nice living room that had a larger flat screen tv. The kitchen had everything you would want including an oven, stove, microwave, full size fridge, cabinets, utensils, plates, and glasses.

  • Jake was as friendly and accommodating as the other reviewers mentioned. The cabin was spacious and it was so nice to be right on the lake. I'd definitely stay here again.

  • Jake was the guy who helped us throughout our stay. Very friendly and helpful atmosphere. Will recommend this to my frnds

  • Excellent, clean room. Kids will love the upper loft area.

  • My stay at Edinboro Lake Cabins was a perfect stopover from NY. I arrived at night, found my cabin waiting with lights on and a feeling of welcome. The next day I enjoyed relaxing on the deck, taking a kayak for a paddle around the lake and then dining at the Sunset Grill next door with people I met staying in the cabin next door. The cabin was perfectly outfitted for my needs. The bed was comfortable. Mostly, it was a perfect and welcoming place as I am traveling with 2 dogs. I am happy to recommend this location to others.

  • These cabins are cute, affordable, pet-friendly, close to downtown, and offer use of the canoes and kayaks for free!

  • The cabin is exactly as described and Henry was really helpful. Definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.

  • The cabin was lovely and exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend away.

  • Such a cozy cabin for a weekend away! Really clean and well kept. Small touches like provided coffee and pancake mix make it even better. Something about sleeping up in the loft while a winter storm roars against the roof of the cabin. Meanwhile, indoors is warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

  • Very cozy and quaint cabin. The self check in was a breeze and the host was super flexible and fast at communicating with us!

  • It was a very cute cabin, very clean and the owner was super nice :)

  • Exceptional, beautiful surroundings

  • This is a cozy and comfortable getaway spot for a couple who want to enjoy the Pocono mountains. The cottage is very clean, and the host is easy to communicate with and provides a good amount of amenities. This cottage is close to many attractions and activities, which the host provides information on in a welcoming booklet. I recommend this property.

  • Martha was awesome! Her cottage is so cozy and fully stocked. I forgot a hairbrush and she had one there. Anything you could possibly forget, she has available. We will definitely will be back!

  • My husband and I loved staying at Martha's place. It was the perfect space for us, and the beds were very comfortable (even the sofa bed). The kitchen was well stocked and the whole space was very clean. The only thing we feel could have made it better is if WiFi was provided as there is no cell phone reception of you don't have AT&T or Verizon. WiFi would have made it easier to touch base with friends and family while we were in the area. We definitely will consider using Martha's place the next time we visit our hometown!

  • Martha's cottage was a perfect family getaway home for my little family. It was comfortable, clean, and very cozy. The waterfall and hammock were a great feature to the house, we definitely enjoyed it after grilling. The kitchen was stocked as well as the bathroom. The stores were 10-15min drive away. Overall it was a awesome stay, a home away from home. Would recommend this cottage 100%. Thanks Martha !!!

  • We had a wonderful time at this cozy cottage! Will be recommending to friends!

  • First airbnb I've ever stayed at and it was a great experience! Loved it

  • The cottage is just as described, peaceful and relaxing. We loved leaving the doors open at night to listen to the night sounds and the waterfall and just breath in the night air. My husband and I were searching for a quiet place where we could spend some time together. We wanted to be able to cook our own meals, watch some movies, read, play games, talk. That is exactly what we did. We loved the deck and watching all the chipmunks run around. Martha is a great host. She gave us our privacy but we knew she was just a message away if we needed her. The cottage is clean and nicely stocked and the bed is comfy. We have already recommended Martha's Cottage to friends and family. We would definitely come back again. Maybe do a winery tour trip!

  • Wonderful cottage with awesome outdoors and well equipped with anything you may need and more, we enjoyed every minute of it especially the outdoors.

  • Our experience staying at Martha's cottage was beyond wonderful. We arrived to beautiful fresh flowers in the kitchen and an extremely quaint little area that served as a relaxing get away. There was a small waterfall that was so relaxing to watch from the hammock, and a comfortable patio set to enjoy your morning coffee and evening wine on. The cottage was clean and cozy and fun to rummage through as we found neat things previous guests have left as well as the ongoing journal Martha and her tenants use to leave farewell messages and hints to future guests on things to check out. Martha even put some goods in the kitchen like milk and cereal, coffee, some veggies and other things that certainly came in handy. I would recommend this stay for anyone and we look forward to returning in the near future.

We are very rural here. Lots of woods, streams, ponds, rivers and waterfalls; not too many neighbors. Hawley north of us and Milford south are about 10 miles each direction. At night the silence buzzes. The sky's are big and the sun sets slow.
  • A very unique experience with several small buildings to serve our needs. Great shower space. Loved the outdoor kitchen and appreciated the shed roof over the dining area since it poured that evening. Tom was a great host. The host chicken and duck were also great.

  • Tom and his wife Carol are wonderful hosts and just good people overall. The cabin was in great condition. I was a bit afraid I'd be chilly during the night but the heater inside provides enough heat and along with a roaring fire, it was a great way to spend a weekend at a great price. Couldn't recommend this for a weekend getaway more!

  • the greatest thing about airbnb is being able to meet, inspiring people like tom and carol. the property was a wonderland of handmade experiences for us to enjoy, down to the bundles of wood set aside for us to burn. they really understood the consideration, and the sharing, that makes real hospitality such a pleasure for both guests and hosts alike. we used the spa, the hot tub, their kitchen, and their guidebooks and maps to get around the pike area, everything was just 5 star ++. an outside cat circled our cabin in the mornings but was too polite to come inside. cloe, their 2yo labrador was a real charmer. there's an aviary full of birds on the property for crying out loud! thanks so much guys, we'll be back soon!

  • this place was just amazing. its everything we needed in a getaway.

  • Absolutely a one-of-a-kind experience you can't find anywhere else. I would go back immediately and recommend this stay for anyone who appreciates art, nature, sculpture, and inner peace.

  • We had a great stay, Tom and Carol were lovely hosts. There is an amazing sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, and even a telescope you can use. Very kind hosts but you also have privacy. Highly recommended.

  • If you're reading this, stop scrolling further. Also, stop considering whether or not this is the right place for you. Just go with your gut, because you know that it's telling you there's something special about this place. Get off the computer, leave your city, escape the traffic, avoid the bustle and stress of the everyday. Replace that all with perfect privacy, calm babbling waters, the peaceful sounds of birds in the aviary, warm fires, emotion evoking artwork, a beautiful flourishing garden, and maybe if you're lucky... the brief company of your hosts beautiful black lab entertaining her curiosity. Whatever you may need, is no further than a half hour drive. But it's doubtful you'll want to leave. Pull the trigger. Book while you can, you won't regret it for a second.

  • Tom's place is the perfect place to breathe fresh air. The sauna and hot tub make the woodsy experience even more relaxing. I loved being around the many sculptures and workshops, even the cabin has some great art books. The cabin is comfortable, and everything you would need to cook a meal is provided for in the outdoor kitchen. It's good to plan ahead as it is somewhat isolated from grocery stores and restaurants. I would stay here again! Plus, Tom and his partner are very welcoming. They have great stories to share about their grounds, nearby sights, and life in general.

You’ll love my place because it is a peaceful and serene escape, yet it is a short walk away from all the attractions. The cabin is 450 square feet with a living room, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom on the ground floor. The bedroom/loft is upstairs.... The cabin shares a backyard (nothing else is shared) with the main house. The backyard is yours to use, including propane BBQ, outdoor fireplace, tables and chairs. You can listen to music, talk and have fun outside as late as you like.
Friendly neighborhood that is very safe and clean.
  • My husband and I just had a great stay at Jeffrey's cabin and would highly recommend to others. The town of Jim Thorpe was adorable, with numerous outdoor and in-town activities to fill your day. Jeffrey's cabin is just a 5-minute walk from the main street, but feels worlds away while you are at home. It appears to be in the backyard of his lovely, historic larger home. While we were there, he let us have unobstructed access to the lovely patio linking the two houses (including a good grill) and the extensive backyard with multiple viewing decks and trail. The property is filled with beautiful flowers and interesting sculptures, and you can hear birds chirping all the time. The wireless internet worked very well on all devices. The cabin itself is small (as is clear from photos) but well-appointed and comfortable for a couple. Jeffrey was a great communicator and provided recommendations before the trip, as well as prompt responses during our visit. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy. Jeffrey also allowed us to bring our large dog; she had a great time exploring his yard and enjoying the wonderful weather on the patio. My only caution would be that there are steep steps up to the cabin, and then there is a very steep spiral staircase up to the loft where the beds are, so this would not probably be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

  • The cabin was exactly as pictured and described! It was perfect for a couple getaway weekend. Jeffrey was very helpful with tips for exploring the area and allowing us to check in a bit early so that we could hike in the afternoon. We had complete privacy and access to the decks which were a great place to relax, cook dinner, and make a fire. We had a great trip and would definitely recommend this cabin!

  • Jeffrey and Chad were awesome hosts. I sort of not want to give a good review so we can have the place to ourselves! We arrived in the evening and I was taken back on how cool this place was! It literally felt like some sort of fairy tale with all the well done ambient lightening, hand made art pieces, and the deck. It's right in the middle of where you want to be in the Jim Thorpe area. We will definitely be back again! (Just be aware that the area is hilly.)

  • A great little cabin that is a short walk to the main road in Jim Thorpe. Went hiking nearby then had a lovely evening in town. Wish we would have arrived earlier as there were some fun looking shops that had already closed. Would go back for sure!

  • Perfect little cabin :) Feels very secluded given to how close to the shops. Didn't meet Jeff but always replies quick and left some brochures for us as well. Everything as described :)

  • Jeffrey was an awesome host! His places are beautiful and were even more than we expected. He knows the area very well and offered many great suggestions of things to do and see. Will definitely look to visit again soon!

  • Jeffrey was amazing. Very cooperative. His assistant gave us a history of the town and told us of activities we can do; He was available to answer any question immediately. The cabin was great, perfect design indoor and outdoor. Very peaceful.

  • Great place,Jeffrey is the best host... I will come agaim

Great pocono location with games room, run by Skilled professional snowsports instructors. Your own apartment with minutes to Camelback, pool table, video screen, sleeps up to 5, cheap price so bring your sleeping bag.
Its a place for snow sports people to stay with minimal cost and maximum fun, provided by instructors from how to tune equipment to watching the latest videos or just a quite weekend.
We are close to the highways and yet off the beaten track, 10 mins to ski hills, 10 mins to down town if you need it.
  • Martin (aka Snow) made us feel extremely welcomed by having ice cold beer and cider for us upon arrival (well, shortly thereafter). We hung out in the game room for a bit before Martin drove us to the local brewpub (Barley Creek FTW!). Afterwards, we played a round of pool in the game room before retiring to our well appointed apartment. As for the apartment itself, it's underneath the main house and is really quite private. There's a kitchen, dining area, and a sleeping area. It's definitely a studio but a spacious one at that. The next time we're in the Poconos I'd love to stay there again.

  • Really liked staying at this cabin, that I extended my stay another night. Martin was very helpful with providing local directions and tips for getting to NYC without having to pay crazy fees. Very nice place he has and great to hear about all the work he has done to it. He is a committed person and has a great vision for providing affordable accommodation to the outdoor ski/snowboard lovers. Awesome environment and location, super close to the mountains and only minutes off the expressway. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially to you peeps that want the best of mountain life, on and off the slopes. The small details around the cabin are awesome, from vintage skis and boards to the cabin feel kitchen and living area. Thanks Martin for the great experience!

  • The "studio" apartment was wonderful (and much bigger that what you'd expect from a studio)! There's plenty of space to sleep, cook, eat, and hang out, and Martin is a very knowledgeable, fun, and attentive host. We had a wonderful stay, and hope to return in the winter for some snowboarding!

  • Thank you Martin for being an awesome host and for a cozy and fun place to stay! Definitely a place I'd like to come back to and discover some more fun things to do :)

  • I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night and it was a great experience. The apartment is a great space and had everything we needed and the great backyard and fire pit were the cherry on top. Martin was out of town but was quick to answer any questions we had. We'd love to stay here again in the future if Martin will have us!

  • Martin went above and beyond as a host. He communicates swiftly electronically as you are planning your stay and greets you in person with a warm smile and thoughtful welcome. He respects your privacy but is a sociable bloke who is more than willing to give directions or hang with you by the fire pit. The decor is a fabulous rustic chic and you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The bathroom is supplied with useful travel toiletries in case you forgot yours, and the kitchen has all the supplies you need to cook your own meals. Martin even left us a small and sweet welcome gift of items to make smores! This place is well worth the value, and way better than staying at the Holiday Inn Express. The apartment is located off the beaten path and only a short drive away to "civilization". We were only there for one night, but my boyfriend and I will be back to stay longer!

  • Upon arrival I was excited to see the layout and feel of the cabin/addition was exactly as described and reviewed by others. The bottom level is cozy and decorated with ski photos and gear from various destinations. The kitchen is well equipped and the heat is nice and strong. The upper level cave is equally as cool with a pool table and bar. I played a game of pool and watched Rambo, while relaxing after skiing. The place is close to the ski hill and there is a gas station on the way in or out and plenty of places to eat about 10 mins away. Great place for a group to stay to enjoy the day after you finish skiing. Martin is a great host, explained everything well and wasn't invasive at all. Very down to earth host and judging by the pictures has traveled the world boarding and enjoying the gnar! Don't forget to sign something in the upper level bathroom (it'll make sense when you stay).

  • The wife and I had a great time in PA. Would definitely go back. Fire pit was a great touch. SUPER clean and close to everything.

This Gorgeous Log Lodge features an open floorplan with vaulted ceilings, skylights, wood stove, huge fully equipped kitchen, and a gigantic open stone fireplace at the center of the Great Room--perfect for large groups! The home also features an outdoor 6 person Hot Tub, Leather Couches, 60-Inch Flatscreen HDTV Home Theatre, Wi-Fi, and a huge rear deck overlooking the 6200 Acre Delaware State forest--great for hiking! This is the ultimate Poconos cabin-in-the-woods getaway!
  • Brett was very prompt and helpful with all communication during our inquiry stage as well as right up to the date of our trip. There is a reason this lodge gets great reviews, it really does live up to the reputation listed. With an inch of snow and one of the first cold snaps of the winter, the lodge was a beautiful setting to enjoy it all. That wood stove is REALLY efficient and super easy to use. We enjoyed the sun rising from the hot tub on the porch both mornings. Today there were numerous birds that were playing in the trees just off the porch. The listing and the pictures made for an experience that had no surprises. I can imagine that this location would be awesome for a group of friends. However, as a location for my wife and I to reconnect on an anniversary get-away, it was perfect.

  • My family had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything pictured and described was very accurate. My girls especially loved the hot tub and the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Our stay at Brett’s lodge was awesome! The pictures are exactly as it appears. The lodge was clean and he provided the linen and towels which was a nice touch. The kitchen had all the essentials needed and the lodge was labeled throughout and directions are hung as well as how to operate everything. The hot tub was very clean and was relaxing as well as the porch swing. The fireplace is awesome as it is opened on all four sides. The beds were comfortable compared to other homes we have stayed at before. The neighbors are slightly visible through the trees to the left and on the right is another cabin seen only from the front. I believe it was private enough for my fiancé and I and it was very quiet and peaceful. During our visit the weather was in the 70s during the day and 50s at night and the ceiling fans helped keep it cool. Brett was a great host and responded to our questions and concerns quickly before, during and after our stay. He was very accommodating with requests and would love to come back with our family and friends.

  • Great service, cabin was in perfect condition, hot tub running when we got there, instructions on how to use everything were included and in detail. Amazing experience, would recommend!

  • Fabulous time at your lodge! Everything was perfect, we will be back. Brett was a great host and all of the detailed instructions how to use everything in the cabin was a huge help. Highly recommend staying here.

  • We had a great time staying at the lodge! The house and location was beautiful and provided us with a truly peaceful getaway. We loved the large fireplace and found the rooms very comfortable. We are already planning our next visit! It was very icy when we arrived and Brett contacted us a few times to make sure we were careful and arrived safely.

  • This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. It is everything we could have hoped for in a week long home away from home. We loved the privacy and somewhat secluded location. The fire pit is great and sitting on the swing watching wildlife with my daughters every morning was fantastic. The accommodations were perfect for the nine of us. I only kind of wished that it had been a cooler season so we could use the beautiful fireplace in the living space. We had a great trip and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. We are hoping to make it back out there sometime too. Thank you so much!!

  • This house is awesome! We were a group of 8 ladies away for a girls weekend and had an amazing time at the house. Everything was exactly as Brett's welcome email said it would be and the whole weekend went smoothly. We loved having the indoor fireplace to sit around at night and the hot tub to was a great addition to the weekend. The house has an open concept which makes it easy for everyone to be in the same space and enjoying themselves. We had a great time and will most likely be visiting again! Thank you!!

  • Ben's cabin in the Poconos is a killer getaway. Can't recommend it enough. First of all, Ben is a great guy and is very helpful about the area and planning your experience. A couple times I called or texted to ask questions and -- even though he was spending a weekend in the mountains -- he responded really quickly. The cabin is a perfect retreat. The decor (check the photos) wins you over as soon as you step in the front door. We visited in May and it was charmingly chilly outside so we chopped wood for the stove and it REALLY heats the place up. Which made it even cozier. We loved our weekend in the cabin -- there's something magical there...would love to go back.

  • Great little cabin in the woods, enjoyed every minute of the peace and solitude. The minute we pulled up 3 deer approached our car. Once we got the fire going in the fire place it became nice a cozy. Will look to going in the summer.

  • the cabin and property was beautiful, upon entering I felt at home! the neighborhood surrounding was better than imagined!! we all wished we could have a place like this for ourselves. 1 only concern is if your going to have an outdoor fire you need a permit and security more than let us know. please put that in your description. we would be honored to be invited back

  • Cozy place that offers some nice visuals and a pleasant atmosphere. No neighbors to bug you and traffic is nonexistent. The nearest grocer is 17-odd minutes, so some pre-shopping will save you pantsers ::raises hand:: some back and forth.

  • The cabin was beautiful and Ben was a great host! A great place for a getaway.

  • We had a great time at Ben's cabin! It was a very relaxing and peaceful setting in a cute house. There's a nice lake a short drive down the road, definitely worth checking out! We were greeted both mornings by families of deer walking around the house which was really cool to wake up to. Ben was a very responsive and communicative host throughout our stay. Would definitely come again!

  • Ben's cabin was perfect for a long weekend getaway with old friends. The cabin is on a quiet street in a gated community. It was the only house on the street, so we had lots of privacy and quiet. There is a marshy area across the street, so there is a lot of wildlife surrounding the property. A doe and her fawns kept coming over to visit us and were very comfortable being around people. The house is equipped with everything you need - cookware, some toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc. The only thing we had to bring was sheets for the bed and food. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen and made good use of the fire pit outside. The beds were comfortable enough and the place was rustically clean. (There is no cleaning service, so the cabins are as clean as the last renters left it.) The recreation center and lake are about a 1-mile walk from the cabin. The pool is heated - so it definitely won't cool you off on a hot day, but is nice if you have kids. We took a dip in Crystal Lake, but came out covered in muck. Promised Land State Park is about a 20 minute drive and we spent time hiking trails and swimming in the beach area there. Ben was a great host and was very responsive. He sent a list of instructions and information about the area prior to our visit. He was available for us via text and answered questions for us as they came up. Would definitely stay again.

  • Ben's cabin was lovely, exactly what I was expecting. I went with two friends, we spent most of the time tending the fire, relaxing in the sauna, and playing board games... completely relaxing. Ben quickly responded to any questions we had. I would suggest bringing a few fire starters, there was only one in the house when we arrived. Otherwise, no complaints. I would love to return!

  • We had a low-key bachelorette gathering for our dear friend at El Sol. From the moment we arrived on a rainy Saturday, we were in love with the home. The fun decor and skylights made the house cozy and inspiring and we all decided we wouldn't ever want to leave. Waking up in the room with two skylights made me feel like I awoke in a treehouse in the woods. All 6 of us will probably book El Sol in the future and take our loved ones out to this romantic and fun getaway. Thanks Jesse!

  • This house is so modern and fun! It's a quiet residential area with woods as a backyard! We brought our own firewood and made a fire in the fire pit which was nice! The house was warm and cozy. Everything was clean and tidy. Jesse was excellent at communicating via text and answered my questions quickly. Thank you Jesse!

  • I and a friend rented Jesse's place for 3 nights. It was just as pictured - quiet, well-decorated, and in a beautiful location. The price was right, too, and Jesse quickly answered my texts regarding questions that I had upon arrival. I would definitely go back!

  • I cannot say enough about how wonderful Jesse's cabin is! Jesse was a great host, very accommodating. It was a calm, peaceful, perfectly decorated mountain retreat. The bed was very comfortable as was the living area. The projector and sound system were a nice touch also. I highly recommend this cabin for a romantic weekend or just to get away from the stress of everyday life. We will definitely be going back!

  • The listing description is accurate and truthful. Once you arrive the place just give you warm vibes. The decor and style is beautifully put together and you truly get a feel of seclusion and peace.

  • Great location and very comfortable cabin! We stayed two nights, for the weekend, and really enjoyed the fire place and the projector linked up to the DVD player. A very relaxing weekend away from the city. Jesse was very prompt and precise in his communications prior to our arrival, and we found the cabin easily. It was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed (we just bought wood along the way and took a few of our own DVDs for the weekend). Nicely decorated inside and great value for money. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

  • My family's stay in El Sol was terrific and exactly what we needed after ten days exploring NYC and Boston. The cabin is very private and perfect for a quiet getaway. Everything was clean and exactly as described in the listing. Jesse was great to work with and gave clear instructions for checking in and out. I would definitely recommend staying at El Sol!

  • El Sol was a perfect overnight rest after a long day hiking at Bushkill Falls. Loved everything about the place and greatly appreciated the clear and easy communication. Have already recommended El Sol to other family and friends. Thanks, Jesse!!!

  • Overall the place looked exactly like the pictures however there were certain quite important things that were definitely subpar and not what we expected. We decided to take a trip to the Poconos because living in Manhattan we don't have the luxury to have a backyard and grill out so a very important deciding factor for us when we chose this Airbnb was that it had a grill however when we got there and bought all the food to grill, we opened the grill and it was extremely dirty and looked like it hasn't been cleaned at all. We notified the host and she apologized and said the cleaning person might not have cleaned it but offered no solution, so we finally decided to try scrubbing off and cleaning it ourselves but with no luck. So we did not get to BBQ and grill out like we planned and we had all our food with us. The second issue we had was with the air conditioning. There is no AC in the whole space except for one of the bedrooms. It was very hot and it seemed a bit odd that the space had two bedrooms but only one bedroom had AC.

  • Beautiful scenic location. Ultra modern & cool! Lovely place & as pictured!

  • Nice Cabin. As Described.

  • Boyfriend and I had a wonderful time there! A great private mini getaway, just a little chilly but we were able to get by just fine with all the extra blankets there and the amazing fireplace! The place was so so so clean and we had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Definitely a must to stay here!

  • Lihn’s lodge was a perfect place for me and my friends to have a winter weekend getaway. 10-15min drive to camelback ski resort. The place is tastefully decorated and is exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen has all the tools to make home cooked meals, and the large dining table and sofa seats all guests comfortably, and plenty of blankets to keep warm! Communication with Linh is great. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

  • Place was great! Very homie and relaxing. Clean. Had a great time overall.

  • Linh’s place is very welcoming. It is clean and cozy. I stayed with my husband and 2 small children and had plenty of room. I felt the kids were safe in the cottage. It was easy to find and a short drive to local attractions. I would recommend!

  • My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect and clean! A great place to relax for a few days.

Outlet stores. Saturday Amish farmers market. Many pick your own farms nearby. Mount Airy casino/concerts and entertainment. As well as Hiking and Hunting.
  • This cabin is everything it is listed to be and more. There is a lot of activities to partake in the surrounding areas. Also let me say the view is beautiful. It's perfect stay especially if your planning on a family trip. Feels just like home, and your host Claudia is the most helpful and welcoming host that I have yet to meet. If you stay at this cabin you won't want to leave that is a guarantee.

  • The home was very clean and well cared for and it was the perfect size for our needs. It was freezing when we were there and the home stayed warm inside - the wood-burning stove helped, but we had a small child with us and couldn't use it most of the time (it was definitely a hazard for her). Also, the beds are a little firm depending on your taste. We really enjoyed our stay and the proximity to skiing/tubing. Would definitely recommend.

  • Very attentive host. Great property

  • Had a really great time at their house! The place was clean and very cozy!

  • Beautiful place with lots of green space for children to play. Conveniently close to attractions in the Poconos mountains (e.g. hiking trails at Hickory run state park, biking trails along the Lehigh valley gorge). Access to community pool within walking distance. Claudia is an amazing host. I highly recommend this place for families.

  • Our stay at Welcome Home Cabin was relaxing and enjoyable. Claudia was fantastic at responding promptly to all our questions. The cabin was cozy. Windows open and cabin cooled off for us upon our arrival. We hope to return for another visit some time. Would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to get away from it all.

  • Claudia is an amazing host. She will answer any questions or concerns you have. The cabin is a traditional cabin completely made out of wood. This was ideal to what I was looking for. A fireplace and that cozy feeling especially since the holidays are right around the corner. The cabin is located at least 30 mins away from everything such as supermarkets, Kalahari and camelback which is very convenient. There isn’t anything I would change. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

  • My husband and I rented the cabin for a 4-day getaway from our busy schedule. My husband’s request for me was to find a log cabin and the Welcome Home Cabin was definitely that, but there were a few extras that made this cabin pretty special. When we entered the cabin, we noticed that it was cutely decorated to match the holiday season. The kitchen was pretty well-stocked with pots and pans, utensils, bowls, and plates. There were a few usual spices available (salt and pepper, cinnamon, paprika, etc.), while not extensive, it was useful for light cooking. If you want things like olive oil, garlic powder, soy sauce, just bring your own. We really appreciate that the hot water never ran out and the cabin itself heats up really quickly since it was quite chilly outside. My husband and I stayed up in the loft and I loved how warm it got, although to some people it might be a little too warm. The host, Claudia, was really responsive. She wrote multiple times to check in on us throughout our stay and gave clear instructions on check-in and check-out. We didn’t have any questions or concerns during our stay but I feel if we did, we would have gotten really quick responses. Anyway, it was a great stay and exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a relaxing vacation. If we were to return to the area, we would love to stay at the cabin again!

Lumberjack Cabin is nestled within Bald Eagle State Forest in the heart of the Pennsylvania wilds! There's nearby access to creeks, hiking trails, and small town shopping. Some say it's off the beaten path, but we say it's the perfect distance for a quiet evening! Lumberjack Cabin is located inside a nature development, so there are neighbors nearby, but not too close. (Yes, it's on a well maintained gravel road.)
  • This cabin is amazing. Brady and John thought of everything in this cabin. This is great get away cabin and you should definitely consider it if you are in the area. They do not have cable, however they loaded up roku which was great. We came up for a football game and it was easy to get there and back. The route was quick because it was highway near the stadium up until route 80 then straight back roads to the cabin.

  • My husband and I are always last minute....we knew we wanted to do some kayaking and enjoy the outdoors before the colder weather comes! Found the perfect little cabin still close to everything! I always try to find places that have fire pits, one of my favorite things to do! So it was an added bonus there was firewood provided and a really neat location to sit around the fire. Could not have asked for more perfect weather and location as we were able to sit around the fire, roast marshmallows and look up at the stars!

  • What a cute little cabin. Perfect for a getaway into the woods. Loved all the personal touches and notes!

  • John and Brady were the best ! Always kept in contact and made check in super easy. The cabin was in the perfect location. So cute and clean! John and Brady left little notes around the cabin to make the stay as easy as possible!

  • Quirky enough to be delightful, but everything you need to relax and enjoy

  • The cabin is very cute and clean. My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet place in the woods where we could enjoy time together, and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Brady and John are great hosts!

  • Great little getaway. Clean, cute and everything we needed was there and more.

  • Super accommodating for a last minute check in, clean, friendly hosts...I'll be staying here again soon~!!

Welcome to our 1930's Delaware River Bungalow! This property was built in the 1930's and has recently been completely remodeled with all new amenities. We are 15 minutes from Shawnee Mountain Ski Area and just a few minutes from the scenic Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the Appalachian Trail. This is a large two bedroom home. Bedroom 1 has two twin beds, bedroom 2 contains 1 full size bed. There is also a full size sleeper sofa in the living room. Each bedroom contains a flat screen TV with Dish Network. The kitchen is also newly remodeled (dishwasher, microwave, cooktop stove, refrigerator) with a eat-in counter for two. There is one full size bathroom with an extra large standup shower. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen with views out onto the deck and of the river. In the center of the living room you can enjoy a cozy fire at our original 1930's riverstone fireplace. Living room also has a flat screen TV with Dish Network and surround sound stereo plus a DVD player. Other amenities: Full heat and air conditioning included. The outside property details: a large deck overlooking the Delaware River with a gas grill. Outside original stone fireplace by the river's edge for campfires and roasting marshmallows! This bungalow is right on the river - bring your canoes and kayaks - we have full river access. The unit comes fully equipped with linens, cleaning supplies, kitchenware, etc. Just pack your clothes and spend a relaxing weekend on the scenic Delaware River. The property owners live just a few houses away and will be there to attend to any needs during your stay.
  • Beautiful place. Clean and comfortable. My friends and I used the place for a writing retreat and we loved it.

  • Great experience with the host, we arrived late and they made sure to turn the lights and AC on for us. The listing was even better then we thought it would be. Recommend this place to everyone!

  • As advertised, met our needs and was clean and plenty spacious. The road noise from nearby I-80 is unfortunate but otherwise it's a good, private location near many things. Thank you!

  • Spent a couple of days at the Pocono cabin for my son who loves carp fishing. He actually located the cabin online and convinced me to book it. The place was great and very clean and exceeded all of our expectations. It had all of the amenities you could think of and a great view of the Delaware river. Since fishing was the main purpose for the visit, we spent most of our time at the cabin and in the 2 days there my son landed 9 carp ranging from 18lbs to 33lbs! He's already asking me if we can go back :)

  • So many plusses here - not a single thing was missing from this beautiful, newly refinished cabin. Wood burning fireplace, nice TVs (we didn't use them, but would come in handy with a longer stay), sound system, deck, fire pit, private dock... basically everything that you need to have a wonderful weekend. Hosts communicated well and let us check in early. The place was clean as could be. Location was minutes from the main Water Gap rec area. There is a small town a few minutes North on 611 that had a farmers market/bakery, and lots of restaurants. Only complaint, which is not the host's fault at all and has been mentioned in past reviews, is that unfortunately the highway runs up the Delaware for a spell across the river on the Jersey side. It is LOUD! So if you're looking for the sound of silence that nature brings, you might want to look elsewhere. If you can deal with the roar of cars, then definitely book!! Everything else is perfect.

  • If you are looking for a quick get away this is the place you. If you want to fish, BBQ, just relax by their fire pit, or swim (if you want to take your chance in the Delaware 😜), they have it all for a nice long weekend. Their pics don't do it justice to their cabin, it is a really nice place, and most importantly for me, very clean.

  • Listing was accurate, clean well kept cottage. Nice location on the river. Rt 80 traffic noise across the river was annoying but you get use to it.

  • The host gave a detailed email with excellent information regarding the space as well as helpful information regarding actually locating the property. They had many helpful laminated cards around the house that made it helpful to use or find most things. the hosts were easily available via email or text but it was nice to do all coordination via phone or text and to be left to ourselves. the location was a pleasant easy drive to get away from the city and the fact that even though it's not isolated it was nice to have the most excellent view out the back of the bungalow facing the river. you can hear the highway across the river but traffic does die down in the evening. the rooms are large and the bathroom and all the rooms have lovely upgrades and the house itself is exceptionally renovated. it was a really nice break and we would definitely consider returning for a longer stay.

Newly renovated home on a private wooded lot-just 5 mi from Seven Springs Resort and 16 mi from Falling Water and Ohiopyle. Well equipped! Sleeps 6 comfortably (3bdrm/1.5 bath)! Relax & Enjoy the Mountains!
The space is unique because it is tucked in the woods but in a small neighborhood. It's simple and close to the resort with out being on property. The outdoors seem to come in when you are in the house. All the stone work and patios draw you outside. Inside the living space promotes togetherness because of the open floor plan. Room sizes are cozy and upgrades are smart. The entire lot is flat so there are no challenges with access in the winter.
The neighborhood is mixed with full time residents and weekenders. It is actually very close knit and almost half the homes have been occupied by families that have lived on the street for 30+ years. At the top of the road just across Countyline Road there is a trailhead that leads to wonderful hiking that you can actually get to the Laurel Highland Trail from. The road is a Horseshoe. To access the house you enter on the lower end, but of course if you miss it and enter on the top end you just drive around to the "U".
  • It was the perfect size for 4 of us, with 2 bathrooms and a big living/dining room. We enjoyed relaxing and watching movies in the evening, biking on the trail down the hill in town, hiking at Cucumber Falls and rafting with Ohiopyle Trading Post. Everything you need is at the house, including some staples in the fridge. And the kitchen has all the basics, including blender and waffle maker. Finding good restaurants that were reasonably priced and less than 30 min away was a little challenging. We could have prepared better by looking more closely at all the information Leslie has available in her guestbook. It is very thorough. Leslie is well organized, for sure, and very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our stay.

  • We had a great time at the Cabin in the Woods. Easy and quick communication.

  • First time with air bnb and Leslie made it a special one!!!! Came up with friends to ski for a few days and it was the perfect place to come home to after a long day of skiing. Would recommend this place to EVERYONE. The house was very clean, organized, and incredibly comfortable. Definitely coming back!

  • Awesome yard with multiple fire pits and a gorgeous view of the stars at night.

  • We had a fantastic trip to the Cabin the The Woods. The house was stocked with a few essentials and was great for cooking while we were there. The cabin was quiet, cozy and well cared after. Leslie was responsive and touched base once we arrived. Hope to be back some day!

  • Very thorough host - didn’t miss a thing. Has all the necessities covered for guests! House is located on a nice, quaint street just a short drive to Seven Springs ski resort. Layout of the home is perfect — can cook while still interacting with group in the living room.

  • Beautiful inside and out. Amazing location! Cozy, comfortable, and spacious. Leslie is easy to reach and there was great communication. Fantastic experience all around!Would love to come back in the summer.

  • From booking the reservation through the end of our stay, Leslie was a caring, attentive and extremely helpful host. She was constantly in contact with me, made sure we had everything we needed and was very responsive to my questions. The cabin is gorgeous, extremely comfortable and well kept. We hope to reach out to Leslie again whenever we return to this area. Thank you Leslie for going above and beyond for us and making this such a wonderful experience for my group.

  • Joe's cabin is even better than described and in the comments! The driveway does require AWD/4WD in the winter months or strong legs to carry you up and down the 3/10 of a mile hill. Joe offered (and did) shuttle my wife and kids a few times. He was incredibly gracious from the moment we arrived and he even helped me unload. He even let me borrow his personal truck to shuttle my stuff up the driveway instead of having to bring my van back down. He checked on us throughout our trip to make sure we had everything we needed but was far from nosy or in our face. Our dogs couldn't have been more welcome and his are incredibly friendly with new dogs and children. We live in a small house in the woods so for us this made a wonderful home away from home but if you're looking to get out of the city and into nature this is your spot. You get to heat with wood (if you want), listen to the birds, enjoy watching horses, and just relax. Thanks and see you soon!

  • The cabin was well located; although it is on the property of the main house it is very far back. We felt very much by ourselves, although Joe was quick to respond to messages. Most things were flexible, and the place came stocked with food and firewood. All of this made for a quiet relaxing experience in the woods! This has been one of our best stays through AirBnB.

  • Place was great loved the horses and dogs. The owner stocked the place for a very enjoyable stay

  • This was a wonderful place to stay. Complete privacy and quiet. A dream. The place was truly a home away from home, completely well stocked and clean. I loved it.

  • The host and family was available at all times, were very welcome. The cabin was so welcoming and cozy. Would recommend this cabin to anyone who needs a get away.

  • The cabin was great! My family and I completely enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was extremely relaxing and so fun to have Charlie visit and feed the horses. There is so much to do there and in the area. We wish we had more time but we will definitely be back. Joe is a fantastic host. He left food, water, juice, etc for us and the house if completely stocked for everything you need to cook and entertain.

    Paula 2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, peaceful location, friendly horses. Great for a get away in the woods. There is a nice deck off the back which faces the trees, very tranquil.

  • Joe has a great cabin and our visit was wonderful. Would recommend it to a friend in a heartbeat.

We are so proud of the reviews our guests leave! Great reviews are the best way to book with confidence. So come and relax in the quiet of Comstock Hollow. Take in the solitude: a babbling brook, local wildlife on the multilevel deck and spa, the perfect place to relax and enjoy a weekend.
Such a fresh, relaxing alternative to the Poconos! The newly-built, chalet-style cabin sits in a hollow in rural Pennsylvania amid 50 wooded acres with a gently flowing brook that you can hear softly babbling from the 700 sq. foot deck. The multilevel deck features a hot tub (load: 6), teak furniture (sectional with cantilevered umbrella, large round dining table & 6 chairs), a large propane grill, and a fantastic view of the grounds and brook. Check out our preview video on YouTube: search words Bear Back Brooke. Air conditioning units, a new 18' above-ground pool and pool deck were recently installed. Disconnect from the hustle and bustle and re-connect with your loved ones. The ground level is finished with a handcut stone fireplace, home theater (7:1 surround sound) juxtaposed with rustic touches from the old farm. It also features a handmade wine rack stocked with the best from the local wineries. (This area of Pennsylvania has quickly developed a number of wonderful vineyards.) Each bottle is $20. There is also a front-loading washer and dryer in the basement. In the summertime, guests can enjoy the 18' above ground pool. The grounds feature another secluded deck by the brook with two amazing hammocks, two Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit for an evening of roasted marshmallows & storytelling. This is an ideal vacation spot for big city folks to unwind and disconnect. We hope that with limited Wi-Fi, you can reconnect with your loved ones the old-fashioned way: board games, star-gazing, taking walks, or even bird watching. The area is widely known for birders, and the property has nesting birds of many varieties including red-tailed hawks, robins, owls, hummingbirds, phoebes, blue jays, mockingbirds, king fishers, pileated woodpeckers, among others. Other noted aviary visitors include bald eagles and migrating geese. Fauna on the property include deer, foxes, groundhogs, chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits. Local attractions include: canoeing down the scenic Susquehanna River, wine tasting at the local vineyards, fascinating antique shops, hunting (in season only), skiing, golfing, biking, hiking, birding at the Wyalusing Rocks, state parks, and only about an hour from Knoebels! Sleeps 4 people in 2 queen-sized beds with an additional 2 people in a new, full-sized, fold-out futon. Other sleeping options for an additional 2-3 people are available (couches & air mattress). Guests have access to the entire cabin, except for the small third bedroom (which we use for storage for personal items with parties of 4 or under. Please request access to this room for use of the raised air bed if you have a party of 4 or under.) The red barn and all tools are off-limits. Please note that the deck is off-limits in snowy and icy conditions due to safety concerns. We will, however, do our best to keep access open by shoveling the snow prior to your arrival so that the hot tub will be accessible. A shovel will also be available if needed. • Eddie & Liam's cabin in the woods was a beautiful place to spend the weekend. Fall had begun and the leaves were turning and so this secluded little spot was completely gorgeous and offered a great venue for hiking and relaxing. Thanks so much gents!

  • This was one of the best air B&B experiences we have had. Liam and Eddie thought of everything with this place. Aside from the house's history and charm, everything you need to relax and unwind is there and you'll feel very welcome and comfortable!

  • What an amazing experience it is to stay at Liam and Eddie's place. The private setting, the incredible house, deck, hot tub, fire pit all made our stay extremely pleasurable. Donna's check-in was thorough and helpful - and she was available to us when we ran into trouble (ok - we locked ourselves out), and quickly came to our aid. The surrounding area is gorgeous as well for the times we ventured out, but we always looked forward to being back at the house. It was a delightful experience. Thank you all so much for having us.

  • We had an incredible time at Liam & Eddie's cabin! When we arrived the house was nice and toasty and we didn't waste any time taking advantage of the hot tub. On a chilly night with snow still on the ground, there was absolutely no better way to pass the time. We're looking forward to going back soon! Dan

  • Just got home from a great stay at Liam & Eddies. It was quiet and secluded. It was a peaceful weekend enjoying the hot tub and pool. We will be going back in the fall without a doubt. This will be our go to weekend getaway.

  • This was a gorgeous, clean, cozy house in a great, secluded location. My friends and I had an amazing time and the hosts and their friend were very responsive and helpful!

  • My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect and exactly as described. The location was completely secluded which was JUST what we were looking for. Eddie showed us around and made sure to give us thorough instructions on everything. We had romantic dinners out in the deck, we took full use of the pool, and we enjoyed starlit nights out in the hot tub. Donna did a wonderful job of checking us out, she was such a joy to talk to, and was super sweet! Overall it was relaxing and romantic. We really loved our stay at Bear Back Brooke. And we will definitely be going back again soon!

Relax and recharge at this rustic, creek side cottage, located 90 minutes from Manhattan. It is nestled deep in the lush oak forest of the Delaware River valley, famed for it's fishing, hiking, and kayaking. Explore 'Stairway Lake' via nearby hiking trails or just relax on the deck to the sound of the falls. Situated on 20 SECLUDED ACRES, this renovated cottage boasts a wrap around deck and a cozy wood stove. A truly sublime atmosphere for those seeking a rejuvenating and inspiring getaway.
You will have the cabin and 20 acres all to yourself. Situated right on Bushkill Creek, this cabin is a beautiful place to watch the seasons change. The interior is newly renovated, complete with wood stove, a gas stove in the kitchen, a full bath, and hardwood floors. Trail heads and fishing spots are within walking distance. A scenic 15 minute drive brings you back to civilization where you'll find antique stores, cafes, galleries, and two 24 hr. grocery stores. The area boasts an array of drinking and dining opportunities, standouts include the Fox 'n Hare Brewing Co., the historic Dimmick Inn, and the renowned Hotel Fauchere.
  • Rustic and idyllic. (Might even be a picture of Sebastian's house in the dictionary next to idyllic.) The place is exactly as described. Simple and essential. Beautiful country surrounds but it's heaven to just sit on the expansive porch and watch and listen to the water, dipping into the clean, clear stream when the air heats up and the mood moves you. Directions and instructions were clear and spot on, and communication was easy and responsive. Hope to repeat soon.

  • If you're looking for seclusion, this is the place. Literally will not hear a car from the road and will only hear the calm noises of the waterfall. This is definitely a cabin in the woods and you should expect that. The house/cabin has everything you need but not too much more. As long as you expect that, you'll have a great time. Sebastian was great at communication. Check in and out was super easy. The outdoor space and the amount of land this place is on is pretty fantastic. We literally could have been the only 2 people in the world and we wouldn't have known. A quiet weekend to recharge was perfect in this setting. There was lots of hiking and outdoors activities to be had both on the property and nearby. The town of Milford was good enough for a few good restaurants, shopping, and supplies and was close enough to be convenient and far enough to be what we'd want. A few things to keep in mind that made it a little less comfortable than we hoped (full size bed rather than queen or king, no coffee maker, only 2 towels), but again, as long as you have your expectations set going in and this is the type of place you're looking for, this place is fantastic.

  • This place was fantastic. Sebastian was communicative thru our stay. The space is so unique you really are right by a little waterfall. We set up a blanket on top of the rocks in the creek and relaxed, read some books and got some sun, it would be tough to find atmosphere like this anywhere else. The wifi reached the fire pit to stream music and was fast for Netflix once we were winding down. 10 minutes from kayaking and plenty of other activities within the area. Would love to come back and recommend it to anyone. Thank you!

  • Pure magic. The most peaceful place. It was so nice to get in tune with Mother Nature. I hope to visit again.

  • Cabin is exactly as described. Secluded and perfect for a mind clearing getaway! Sebastian was great with recommendations on things to do & places to eat. Had a great time and would definitely go back!!!!

  • We loved our stay at this location. It could not have been in a better setting. This is a rustic cabin in a remote location. It is set up for one or two people and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The stream runs in front of the cabin and the waterfalls and pools are beautiful. It is not fancy but it is clean and well maintained. The fire circle by the stream is perfect. The deck is large and offers an incredible view of the forest and stream. Sebastian seems to be a concerned and attentive host. He answered all of our questions and responded quickly to our messages. The nearby town of Milford is very nice and is worth a day trip if you can tear your self away from the tranquility of this beautiful place.

  • Sebastian is a wonderful host with a fantastic piece of property. Even in the dead of winter, the cabin and surrounding area is an excellent for a retreat from the normal day to day. The wood burning stove adds a great deal of homeliness and heats up the entire place quite nicely. Despite connectivity issues, Sebastian was able to work with me to restore internet connect, all the while being in Australia. An A+ host with an A+ property; I’m looking forward to returning during the warmer months to enjoy the surrounding abundance of trails and wildlife.

  • Sebastian was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. He answered all our concerns and made sure we were safe. Great host!

The Woodland Retreat is located in the idyllic Pocono Mountains. All the outdoorsy-ness of camping, with the luxury of a real bed, ultra clean bathroom, and full kitchen. 90 minutes from NYC, this space is great retreat for artists, writers, adventure seekers, and nature lovers. This cabin is close to hiking, swimming, golfing, skiing, zip-lining, tree climbing, bumper boats, mini-golf, horseback riding, roller skating, and outlet shopping. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and families!
  • Loved the house and the area. Made for a very relaxing spot in the morning and end of busy days of activities. Super close to things like rafting, canoeing, and horseback riding- less than a 15-20 min drive. Screened porch is great for summer nights

  • Awesome stay at the cabin - it was plenty of space for 2 plus a dog! We loved the deck space, it is awesome for summer!

  • This cabin is fantastic. The photos don't do it justice. Very clean and very comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed for any kitchen needs to supplement what we'd brought. Overall the experience was absolutely perfect as my boyfriend and I enjoyed a super relaxing recharging weekend. We look forward to returning and will absolutely recommend.

  • Beautiful, realxing,cozy, great choice

  • Cozy little place perfect for two, sun room is an awesome addition. Nicole's DVD collection kept us busy at night time, neighbors are quite and had no issues finding the place. We brought an extra fan which helped during the day, night time temperatures dropped to make for a perfect sleep. Would definitely recommend for a nice get away.

  • Nicole’s place was just as described. It’s a quiet small cabin in a small residential neighborhood. We took advantage of nearby hiking trails and enjoyed relaxing inside in the evenings.

  • The house was just as described. It was centrally located and convenient to many of the Poconos attractions. Its a quiet location with plenty of wildlife to watch. The house was clean and comfortable to stay in. We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely do it again.

  • The house is amazing. The place is super chill. I felt like I lived there for a long time.

A rustic, romantic & modern, smoke-free tiny house cabin with sleeping loft, WiFi, HDTV & small pantry and kitchen. Sleeps 2 in the loft, & 2 in the sleeper sofa. You're just about roughin' it here, but with most modern amenities, but don't forget a tiny home! Primitive means we do have running water on site, with electric and WiFi, we give you the cleanest bathroom port-a-john and shower hut for your use & lots of bottled water, water for hand washing, cooking & shower hut!
Our tiny home cabin is small but packed with lots of modern amenities. Located on 17.5+ acres of private campground property & boarding state game lands, and the Appalachian Trail makes our location very unique. We are just a few miles from Fuller & Laurel Lake, & Long Pine Run Reservoir for kayaking and fishing. Camping is fantastic at this location with a fire pit close by, picnic table, and outside grill with many open acres for your activities. Our cabin is located at the campground, so some action is to be expected on the property with close neighbors. Our cabin includes a small pantry, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven & outside propane grill. HDTV & basic Wifi internet included. Our sleeping areas include 1 queen memory foam mattress in loft area & 1 sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 people. Linen is provided only for the loft area. Please note, there is no running water inside the cabin. We have a water source outside, include some bottled water for drinking, cooking, coffee, etc too. You are encouraged to bring your own water. The bathroom is a port-a-potty that is cleaned before your stay, and the shower is an outside camping shower that is not always warm. This is a primitive cabin, so if these features may scare you and you can't get away from modern day amenities, I would look for a hotel instead.
Pine Ridge Campground is located in Biglerville PA. We are 10 min from Shippensburg PA, and 25 min from Gettysburg PA. Close to many state parks and lakes. Please understand that this is a remote location. Please only book understanding you are at a private campground, and some action will be on the property, and that you will be sharing the campground with other guests.
  • Cabin was cute. It was clean and described accurately. Sleeping quarters in loft was tight, but fine for the night.

  • Such a cute cabin in the middle of nowhere! While you're surrounded by RVs, our stay was still very private. And thank goodness for the wifi since a signal was very hard to come by. There are so many nearby hiking spots, orchards, farm markets, and even wineries! We went to Hauser Estate and brought a picnic to have with our hard cider tasting. Just a short drive to Gettysburg too! Be warned this is more of a glamping experience, but worth it if you're looking to get away.

  • We had such a nice time at Jamie's tiny cabin. It's very comfortable and equipped with pretty much anything you could possibly want! Definitely recommend!

    Katrina & Andrew2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jamie's cabin in the mountains was the perfect July getaway spot when we needed a break from DC! The drive was under 2 hours. The cabin is up in the mountains, an easy and beautiful 20-25 min drive from Gettysburg. There are lots of local wineries close by and the Pine Ridge Furnace park, about 10 min away, has a beautiful little sandy lake beach and lots of room to hike and cook out. We didn't feel like roughing it this trip, and even though Jamie uses the word "primitive," the only primitive thing about it is the outhouse/water situation, which really wasn't a problem. Inside, you have comfy beds, super-cold AC, Netflix, a fridge, a Keurig, tons of bottled water (we barely used a third of it between 2 of us over the weekend), and a bunch of nice little touches and amenities that make it feel luxurious. We were really blown away by how thoughtful Jamie is as a host and we look forward to staying again soon. It was a perfect break from DC!

  • We had a wonderful time in this cabin with our golden retriever. The inside was very cozy and tasteful. The snacks were much appreciated. Jamie brought over hot water for a shower in the outside shower tent which was new for us but fun. There was lots of outdoor space for our dog to run and explore. The porta potty was clean. Jamie always made sure we were comfortable and provided for.

  • The reservation was canceled 4 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • This is a very cozy cabin for 2. Jamie had everything there we would have needed and gave me his cell if there was anything else. The only complaint was the weather(the wind would not stop blowing). We definitely will be staying here again in the near future. We are looking forward to a hike on the Appalachian trail just 500 or so feet away from the property. Loved watching the deer in the field one evening. They acted like we weren't even there.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Jamie's tiny house!! It was so relaxing and cozy. We spent 6 hours hiking the Appalachian Trail, which passes by the tiny house just a short distance down the road. If you head North on the trail from the road, you'll hit its halfway point in less than two miles! Jamie welcomed us to his property upon our arrival and spent an evening chatting over dinner. He is an incredibly kind host! I highly recommend staying here.

Situated on 10 Acres adjacent to state forest--great for groups who desire nature and seclusion. The property features a Hot Tub, Wood Stove, Game Room, Fire Circle, Home Theatre, Outdoor Deck and Wifi! A stream and wetlands run through the property, and the area offers numerous opportunities for outdoor fun and adventure!
  • Oh my gosh, this place was AMAZING. So cozy, spacious, and relaxing - the perfect getaway! This was exactly what I needed - thank you, Brett!

  • It was an amazing place and had literally everything needed. The room at the end of the house had a beautiful view! Would definitely highly recommend this house to anyone interested in staying in the area.

  • Brett has an incredible place. A group of 8 and I spent my the weekend for my birthday and there was plenty of room for us all. Being up there was such a nice change of scenery for us all who live in a busy city. The weather was a bit rainy, so we drove around and did some sight seeing and stumbled upon some beautiful falls. The house is also just a short drive from a quaint little general store which we were able to get all our necessities at. Brett’s place was very clean and we had a blast using all the amenities (ping pong table, darts, hot tub etc.) I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing get away that is off the map a little bit!

  • Nice getaway. Serene and peaceful. Place clean as well.

  • Wonderful place to get away !

  • We had a great experience! Stayed 3 nights with 6 people and 2 dogs. There was more then enough space, house was clean, beds were comfortable and, in a great secluded location. Brett was always fast to reply. And the hot tub was a nice touch as well. Definitely recommend!!

  • This place was amazing. Honestly the pictures do it no justice!!! The communication with Bret was quick and easy. I definitely plan on coming back. It's a great place for 4-8 people

  • The house was absolutly beautiful. Perfect location, very private and quite, but close enough to shops and attractions like the falls or animal parks. Wifi was down, but not someplace you go to be on your phones so it was welcomed actually. Great for grouos or familys with plenty of bedrooms and common rooms to hang out. So nice to sit out by the fire put or in the hot tub, but also a nice escape to the basment to play some table tennis or foosball. Great place to stay

  • We got really helpful info about the property well in advance. I knew just what to expect going in. The property is in great condition and is a great place to spend some relaxing time away.

  • Some friends and I booked Maria and Maxime’s place for a weekend getaway, and it was everything we could ask for! The house is spacious, beautiful, and fully equipped. Everything was clean and nice, as advertised, and the huge porch with hot tub and a grill just made it complete. Beautiful nature, many awesome local bars and restaurants within 10 mins driving radius, a private beach less than 5 mins away, bunch of local markets to buy great meat and fruits, … Maxime and Maria were also very helpful and accessible. Maxime went out of his way to call us before our trip to tell us everything about the house and the area and answer any questions we might have. We also contacted him a couple of times during our stay and he was always available and helpful. We had a wonderful weekend at Le Petit Chalet and can’t wait to go back.

  • My group has an annual ski trip every year. The property was very close to Jack Frost Big Boulder. It is also very close to great bars and restaurants. The residence was spacious enough for our entire group. The host was amazing. There was great communication and even though we did run into a minor issue, it was addressed immediately. I recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

  • WOW!! Is all I can say. Myself and 9 other women stayed at Le Chalet and what an amazing beautiful experience. The house was plenty spacious and not at all like a (Website hidden by Airbnb) was very comfortable and nice. The owners were a pleasure to work with and we certainly did not want to leave. Observing the clear starry night sky from the deck at night and feeling the sun and wind on our faces by day was beautiful. Words cannot describe. Thank you for such a relaxing peaceful fantastic weekend!!

  • This is the perfect BB/JF ski chalet. Convenient location, beautifully appointed, incredibly helpful and responsive host. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!

  • Very nice & cozy home. Fireplace & jacuzzi were the best part of the stay!

  • Great place for a weekend get away!

  • We spent Memorial Day weekend at Le Petit Chalet. Maria has a beautiful home. It was a wonderful location for our party of 8 girls. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, grill, wrap around deck, and especially the hot tub. Maria was very responsive with any questions or requests we had. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing weekend in the woods.

Our country poconos home boasts a wood burning fireplace and stove, breath taking lake views, and easy distance to skiing, casinos, restaurants and more. A truly stunning home away from home.
We are about fifteen minutes away from skiing and mt airy casino! Very close to many restaurants supermarkets and even the outlets!
Our neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The sky at night is breathtaking and there is nothing like waking up to gorgeous lake views.
  • the house was amazing ! me and my friends had the best time here , so relaxing and serene and the lake was amazing. even rainy days were beautiful here, I would stay here again without a doubt

  • Great home and neighborhood! Very safe.

  • The house was very nice, clean and organized. The view was amazing. Had a wonderful experience!! 👍👍👍👍👍

  • Efrat is a great host! The house is lovely with great views! We feel like we are home during the stay!

  • Efrat's house was great. We especially loved all the toys and kid cutlery, plates, cups, etc. in the kitchen because we had four kids under 3 years old. The house was spacious enough for two families of four and it included a crib, twin cot and pack n play. The house was well stocked (could have used a few more towels but not a big deal) and we were able to cook some great meals in the kitchen. The backyard was beautiful, great view. The only issue was the amount of dog hair on the floors and couches. It was on our clothes and all over the crawling babies. Other than that I highly recommend staying here!

  • Efrat was a great host! We wanted to get the boats out on the water, but we couldn't find any life jackets. I called Efrat about it and she promptly responded by ordering them to be picked up from a nearby walmart. The views from the house are spectacular and our pups had an amazing time; highly recommend it!

  • A true winter wonderland by a lake! We couldn't have imagined a cozier home with a spectacular view for a holiday mini-vacation. Great community & host. We'll be back.

  • Our group was so excited to rent Efrat's cabin for the long 4th of July weekend. We were absolutely charmed by the cabin with its great wrap around decks and direct access to the lake. We had 4 couples and 3 dogs (a pretty full house) but really didn't feel too squished as there was the lake right outside with paddle and row boats as well as lots of space to walk around the neighborhood. The house was clean and we were well provided for with cleanly made beds and bath towels provided. We cooked at the house mostly and found it all to be in good working order as well as with the basics for kitchen accessories and pots and pans available. All in all, a really great trip that we thought was more than reasonably priced. Thank you!

Our home is only steps away from an entrance to the Lehigh Gorge State Park. We're happy to provide you with suggestions for the many hikes you can access in this incredibly beautiful setting. We're a short 10 minute drive from downtown Jim Thorpe, and just a few minutes from the Glen Onoko entrance to Lehigh Gorge park. It's about a 30 minute drive to Blue Mountain or Big Boulder ski resorts.
  • Thank you for providing an excellent getaway! We hope to be back soon.

  • Such a pretty house in a great location. Close to downtown, skiing and Glen Onoko trail! We had such a great time and Matthew was always so flexible and quick to respond. Definitely will be back!

  • We loved our stay at this warm and spacious home. Roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, watching a movie while basking in the electric fireplace glow, listening to records (my kids had never seen an album!), and taking several luxurious jacuzzi baths—a great 3 nites. We drove 45 min to Camelback for tubing and would have hiked in the cool park a mile away had it not rained. Wonderful value!

  • This home was absolutely perfect! So cozy, nicely decorated, and the little touches like the huge jetted tub, arcade game, and record player made it even more perfect. 5 minuet drive into town and a beautiful hike with a waterfall right down the street made the location ideal. We would definitely like to stay again.

  • We were very happy in this place. It's very nice and close enough to the town of Jim Thorpe that access was not a problem at all. The host was very available and was quick to answer any questions that came up. Definitely one of the best options around.

  • Matthews house in Jim Thorpe was very nice. It was close to the super market and many attractions such as rafting and kayaycking. Matthew was very easy to contact and he responded quickly. Overall we had a great stay! I recommend it highly! 😊

  • This house was great! We had 6 people and had a great time. It’s about 30 mins from blue mountain but it is an easy drive. The house was really cute and in a good location. The hosts were also great and easy to get in touch with.

  • The place was in great shape and very clean. The location was just minutes from the he village and close to great restaurants and shopping. We will stay there again next time we are in the area. Matthew was very helpful and attentive.

  • Paul's home was the perfect stay for our getaway with three couples and three young children. The private bathrooms plus a shared 1/2 bath is a great arrangement, and there were plenty of towels and bath toiletries. Everything was well arranged and comfortable, it was cozy, modern, tasteful. We cooked terrific meals in the well-stocked kitchen, made warm fires and s'mores each night, and used the grill despite the rain and cold. Paul is very responsive and accommodating, and could be reached during our stay by landline, text, and cell. It was so comfortable we barely left the house during our three-night stay, but did make time for the nearby bowling alley, pretzel factory, and the abandoned Victorian inn just down the street.

  • Great host. Paul provided us with a helpful information packet before we arrived. The house was large enough for all eight of us who were primarily coming from New York to have a family gathering. We had a relaxing week at Paul's house. We would definitely recommend.

  • This was my second visit at the property with a group of friends after an amazing first experience a couple of years ago. Everything was just as great as the first time, and we hope to be back again. In addition to an extremely detailed guide that provides everything you'd need to know about the house plus tons of things about the area, Paul goes above and beyond to answer any questions in a friendly and incredibly responsive manner. The home itself is charming and a perfect space to relax in, with so many thoughtful touches throughout and great furnishing and amenities.

  • This is a beautiful house set in the most beautiful area of Pennsylvania. As a group from NYC, this bungalow was the perfect retreat for my friends and I to get away from the city and be amongst wildlife. There are plenty of outdoor activities as close as the backyard, and Paul was most helpful in sharing what's close and specific to our wants. My friends and I had such a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!

    Lindsey And Jose2012-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Paul was a responsive and welcoming host, offering many suggestions for activities that would work for our two families with small kids. The house is spacious and comfortable, with immediate access to the woods and lots of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The screened-in porch is amazing. We would come back in a heartbeat.

  • A few of my best friends and I stayed in the Sticks and Stone bungalow last weekend, and it was absolutely magical. It was my wedding weekend, a time to celebrate friends and family, and Paul made us all feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. He made sure we had everything we needed, down to the champagne glasses we wanted to use to toast to our party. He gave incredibly clear and helpful recommendations of restaurants and sights in the area, and was so generous with his time and home! The house itself is incredibly charming and beautiful - all wood and vintage and thoughtfully curated decorations. Especially wonderful is the back porch, where I got ready for my wedding. It opens into the forest and has a magical feeling to it. Early in the morning before I got married, I sat out on the porch alone as the sun rose, and it was the perfect moment of peace for a big day. I'll be coming back here to celebrate many events to come - Paul was a wonderful host!

  • We had another great stay at this home. Paul is always very helpful and responds quickly to questions. We enjoyed the backyard fire pit, which was new since the last time we stayed. I love the community the house is located in -- so much to do. If my husband weren't a beach person, I'd come here every year.

  • The house is beautiful. It's rustic feel, spacious rooms, tranquil location, and extremely helpful and accommodating host made this a great weekend. Would recommend it to anyone!

  • Perfect place to spend the night if you are traveling the pine creek trail.

  • Walt's place was a perfect little cabin getaway for us. We loved being close to the river and there were plenty of trails nearby with beautiful views! Walt was a great host and we would definitely stay again.

  • Walt's place is a quiet cabin right on pine Creek within minutes of the best hiking trails in PA and some of the best trout waters in the US. Walt was very responsive and accommodating. I would stay again for sure.

  • we really enjoyed our stay and are planning to go again. It was very quite and beautiful there we loved it. Thank you Walt.

  • Walt did an amazing job of helping my weekend getaway go as smoothly as possible. He answered all my questions, and even prepped the house for us beforehand. There are some games for playing indoors, a TV and dvd player, and a canoe and kayak. Unfortunately, for us it rained most of the time but the cabin was so cozy we didn't mind much. The views around the cabin are just so beautiful, and it's bound to be a place we visit again.

  • House was very charming. Heating worked very well, the fire pit provided for some great entertainment and the barbecue was great for some light grilling. All in all we had great time.

  • What a beautiful home! Extremely spacious and squeaky clean. There’s a trail leading to a deck on the lake. Kayaks included! I only stayed for 3 days but I wish I stayed longer. Thanks Jack for letting us stay in your beautiful lake hideout!

  • The place was AMAZING. Jack was awesome, and had everything set up as described. Having immediate access to the lake was so nice, and the house itself was a lovely well equipped place to relax! We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the lake, ample deck space, grill, kayaks for a quick cruise on the lake and cozy interior of the home. We also took a short drive and hiked up the Delaware Water Gap trails one afternoon. 10/10 would stay there again! Hanging out by the lake to drink a morning coffee or to just stare at the foliage nearby was soothing for the soul. Jack was incredibly kind and helpful. For me, staying here was great fun and perfect for a family gathering.

  • This was the best choice for my birthday getaway. All my friends had a great time as well. The house was so nice and even better in person!! We will definitely come back

  • Jack was an extremely accommodating host. His replies to emails and text messages were fast and friendly. The house was much better than expected. The pictures really do not do it justice. The living room is spacious with a comfortable couch and new TV with a Roku, DVD player and sound system. Location is great; it seems like everything is 20 minutes (or less) away. The fire pit, right off the lake, was the highlight of the trip! Would definitely consider returning.

  • The house was just as described ! Beautiful Lake view , amazing property. Close to everything like supermarkets, restaurants, shooting Range etc , which was a major plus for me and my group of 4. The host was great very good at communication and told me exactly how to get to the house quickly , everything was just as promised. Thanks a lot Jack would love to stay at you're house again!

  • Great! Thanks Jack, was an awesome weekend there.

Rustic cabin on 7 acres in the heart of Potter County where visitors can relax and get away from it all! Surrounded by forest, wildlife is abundant here and deer, bear, turkeys, porcupines and even fishers and bobcats can be seen. Excellent trout fishing (Southwoods branch <1 mile, Sinnemahoning River 5 miles); state forest lands and hiking trails (<1 mile); star-gazing at Cherry Springs State Park (17 miles); Lumber Museum, Lyman Run State Park and Lyman Lake (15 miles).
  • Lovely house set in the nature. Lots of wildlife. Privacy guaranteed. Has all you might need to relax indoors and outdoors. Owners are very helpful and friendly and there are great hikes, good restaurants and many outdoor activities to choose from close by. I had a great time here! Highly recommended!!!

  • Kristi's place is definitely a place of quiet and peace. The outside space is really lovely! The inside is definitely rustic but also inviting and peaceful.

  • Beautiful place; clean. Great corespondence. Well stocked. Home-like more than rustic. Charming with great space for our needs. Couldn't ask for a nicer stay or more responsive hosts.

  • The host canceled this reservation 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • My wife and I just returned from "Rustic Cabin in the woods". What a great place to relax. Beautiful rustic look with many of the amenities of a modern home ( even cell service). If you like the outdoors you will love the library and the history of the cabin its self ( you will have to ask Dayle about that). Location is great 7+ acres of woods near the town of Coudersport but secluded enough to make you think your in the wilderness. Several State parks are within a short drive , The Ice Mines , Lumberjack Museum , Grand Canyon of Pa. just to name a few. Everything is provided for you , just bring your suitcase or backpack . There is a Hospital in Coudersport and that is important to some folks. We are definitely going back again. Crab & Cathy

  • This was the best weekend away I’ve had in the longest time! My boyfriend and the other couple that cane had the best time! This cabin is absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location! We were able to see a bear which made it even better! We will be back next year that’s for sure!!! It was such a cozy cabin and made you feel like you were at home!

  • We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful and just what we were looking for. The host was incredibly kind and super helpful. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all. We hope to be back in the future!

  • It was such a lovely place to stay in. We really enjoyed the silence and beauty that surrounds it. The cabin is ready to receive guests all you need to bring is your choice of food and your clothes. That's it!! However you might want to print information about the area before leaving your home since its all woods you may not have phone service. I'm glad we printed out our info! We are definitely coming back to the cabin. The area is very interesting and I left wanting to learn more!!!

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queensize memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. Large windows will let as much light in as you wish.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the cabin. We offer free in-town street parking for your convenience. We are also located about 7 miles from Whitetail Resort for skiing and golfing during the season. Whitetail's golf course is beautiful in the fall and spring and is a challenging and well-maintained course. There are several outstanding hikes nearby and Cowan's Gap State Park offers a lake for swimming in the summer.
Mercersburg is a quaint little town that offers quite a few events. Check the Mercersburg Chamber of Commerce for large community activities, as well the calendar at Mercersburg Academy for events on campus including the Sunday Carillion Concert Series offered weekly for free. Mansion House offers live music on occasion and Flannery's Tavern is a popular stop for your post-outdoor activities happy hour.
  • Cozy, spacious cabin with a great TV, great location to the pubs and coffee shop, and easy to find. Great hosts as well who will answer any questions you have! Would definitely stay here again.

  • This cabin is an absolute jem! Paul is super helpful and responsive to any request you could think of. You'll feel completely at home during your entire stay - I cannot say enough great things about this place!

  • Great place to stay and Paul was a gracious host. Ideal if you are planning to visit the Whitetail Ski Resort.

  • Good location. Cute authentic cabin feel.

  • Cute little place right in the middle of town. Paul kept it very warm and cozy and the TV had plenty of channels. Only thing to note is that the house is very creaky so anytime someone moved we woke up the other person. Other that it was great.

  • What a nice spot. Cool rustic cabin but with all the modern amenities.

  • Paul is fantastic! So helpful and easy to communicate with. The house is beautiful, and I loved the local pub and coffee shop nearby.
