Park
“Sheffield's Botanical Gardens are lovely in summer, can drive or get the bus there - you must pay for parking on the street however. There is a grand indoor temperate house with various tropical and succulent plants inside - year round. The grounds are meticulously up-kept - great for picnics or a stop off before going into town. There is also an old bear pit inside the park strangely enough which is worth a visit. Located in the leafy, affluent area near bustling Ecclesal Road which is also perfect for drinks and food. ”

Pub
“There are many fantastic pubs on the doorstep such as The Fat Cat, Kelham Island Tavern and The Harlequin (the latter of which you can see from the balcony!). However on a warm sunny day it's hard to beat sitting outside The Riverside pub in their large beer garden with a cold pint or chilled wine.”
