“The Elephant Park is located in the Village of Taro, approximately half an hour’s drive north of Ubud. All the elephants were rescued from deforestation in central and southern Sumatra. The park is ideal for all the family and is open seven days a week. There are safari rides through Taro's jungles with riders perched in a teak chair on elephant back. After the trek, lunch is served at the park restaurant beside the elephant bathing lake after which everyone heads to the elephant arena for one of three daily shows. You can touch and hand-feed the elephants, watch the elephants bathing rituals, have photos taken with elephants, witness live educational shows and elephant painting.”

French Restaurant
“Chef Chris Salans oversees this much-lauded top-end restaurant. Fine French fusion cuisine features on a constantly changing seasonal menu that takes its influences from tropical Asia. Dine in an elegant garden twinkling with romantic lights or an ornate pavilion. Tasting menus are obligatory, unless you wish to limit yourself to tapas in the lounge (from 5pm). Lunch in high season only.”
